EEEEEP! im so stoked for this! i wrote this with my astronaut!reader in mind (fic coming soon 😉) but this can be read as a standalone, general!reader. but listen listen listen

Jake is a possessive guy by nature, but he likes to think he has chilled out more at his age. And instead of getting all territorial every time a guy hits on you when you go out, he has taken to sit back and watch the chaos unravel before him.

Right now, a young Naval officer is talking your ear off at the bar. This is so typical; he can’t go to the bathroom for two minutes without some dumbass trying to win your attention. He wouldn’t blame them, though. Your red lipstick makes him (and all these men) weak in the knees, and that white sundress you’re wearing makes you look angelic—if only they knew you weren’t wearing anything underneath. Your eyes meet as Jake makes his way over, gleaming with mischief, and Jake decides to take the empty seat next to the guy first. Get a load of this, you all but say to him in a single look.

“Yeah, so you know a G-force? Like the accumulation of the force of gravity that we experience in the aircraft is just… insane. We could go anywhere from 5 and 9 G’s— why are you smiling?” The guy smiles at you somewhat nervously.

“No, I just… it’s cute, that’s all.” You sip on your gin and tonic. “I get 12 G’s just going to the station.”

“Pfft! Where do you work, anyway? NASA?”

“As a matter of fact, I do,” you answer lightly, plainly.

His face falls. Jake can’t even see it, but he can see the shoulders drooping and he laughs quietly, tapping this man on the shoulder. His face goes red.

“Commander Seresin! I—”

“Run along, Ensign… Hastings. That’s my girl.” Jake slots his arm around your waist—a territorial lite move.

“I’m so sorry. I didn’t know…”

“Nice meeting you.” You flash him a smile of formality, effectively ending the conversation with that guy. He awkwardly phase out into the crowd and you’re now left alone together again.

Jake laughs, pulling you in closer by the waist. “You are such a menace, you know that?”

“You love that about me.”

And he does. Gosh, he really does.

2. Whats their favourite flavour? (spicy, sweet, sour, etc.)

She loves spicy and sweet. She can handle a decent amount of spice when it comes to food without even breaking a sweat.

10. Are they a morning person or a night owl?

A total night owl. Which causes her to sleep in late. Wake her up too early and shes a real grump.

12. Its a rainy day, what will they do all cooped up inside all day?

Ava is spending the entire day either in bed or on the couch. Her days inside are filled with movies, naps, and songwriting.

14. What do they smell like? Do they wear perfume or cologne?

She naturally has the scent of cigarettes cling to her, but she also smells like her vanilla body wash and vanilla body spray. Occasionally she also smells like weed.

23. Do they talk to themselves?

She doesn't talk to herself a lot but she does sing to herself! Especially when shes writing and trying to get a taste of how things sound. She'll softly sing to herself.

7. Whats their favourite animal?

She loves hedgehogs.

9. What position does she like to sleep in?

She has a tendency to curl herself up on her side when she sleeps.

12. Its a rainy day, what will they do all cooped up inside all day?

She'll usually use the day the do little odds and ends around her apartment. Maybe put on some music or a movie. Her favourite though would be to spend the day in bed, reading and napping.

13. Do they have a favourite scent or smell?

Meat. Specifically beef while its being cooked.

14. What do they smell like? Do they wear perfume or cologne?

Shes always wearing perfume. Floral scents are her favourite.

32. Do they wear makeup? What kind?

She does! She loves always trying out new looks so she wears just about everything. Her go to look though is a light pink lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, and a pretty eyeshadow that matches her outfit.

Milo:

2. Whats their favourite flavour? (spicy, sweet, sour, etc.)

Milo tends to like sweet and savoury. He loves the combination of the two as well.

4. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks - which do they look forward to the most?

It depends on the day. During the week, dinner. They always feel more deserved after working all day. On the weekend, breakfast. He likes that he can take the time to make a good meal without being in a rush to get to work.

12. Its a rainy day, what will they do all cooped up inside all day?

He'll usually spend the day crashed on the couch and eating snacks while watching a movie. Sometimes short naps. If its a day hes feeling really energized he'll do some house work and small repairs hes been meaning to get to (being careful not to break his nose again).

45. What do they carry around with them during the day?

Cell phone, pack of cigarettes, lighter, sketchbook, pencil, wallet, gum, headphones.

Ava would immediately grab her wife, axe, and old Navy uniform, in that order, before racing outside.

Gologa and Conroy both would grab their daughters, too consumed by panic about them to care about literally any other possession.

Assuming Amis didn't die of smoke inhalation, she would grab whatever instruments were closest.

Oooh what if the body that is found is one of the guards, so both Spencer and Victor are presumed missing. We know Spencer is coming back, but that scenario could leave room for Victor/the actor to come back later on.

That's pretty much been my theory since I saw the preview for tomorrow's ep. I just don't see the show being that definitive with Victor's exit. CS was such a fun antagonist, and while he doesn't even come close to Helena at full power, keeping the possibility of him popping up again is the smarter move. There were so many goons on that boat, I'd be very surprised if the first body they find ends up being a Cassadine.

Paper Rings with TS-type reader and Bradley?

It started innocently enough. Bradley is babysitting his 5-year-old goddaughter Flora for the evening and has got himself wrapped around her little glitter-polished finger. He’s been through all the phases with her—the princess phase, the dinosaur phase, the Lego phase… although this one might be the toughest yet.

The little girl and the big man are much too preoccupied to hear you come in, sitting cross-legged on the living room floor, elbows resting on Bradley’s bespoke coffee table with colorful papers strewn around. You hear Flora’s adorable posh English accent from the hallway.

“So you just fold like this… and like so…”

“Wait, wait, wait. Slow down!”

“Come on, Uncle B. Don’t be a slowpoke.”

“I got big fingers and the foldings are really small. Hold up, Flo,” Bradley huffs.

You stifle a chuckle, but failing, and both of them turn to look at you.

“You’re back!” Flora gets up to her feet and runs up to give you a hug. “Did you write a lot of songs in the studio today?”

“Yeah, actually. What are you guys doing?” You stroke her hair a little before guiding her back to the living room.

“Flora’s teaching me origami,” Bradley smiles wryly, leaning up to you for a quick kiss.

“Aw?” You give him a peck on the cheek.

“She’s a very good teacher.”

Flora grins and gushes, “Show her what you made for her, Uncle B!”

“Oh! Uh…” he scratches the back of his neck sheepishly, then presents the pink little thing to you so delicately by holding it between his fingers.

“Bradley…”

“Sorry it’s a little wonky…”

“No! It’s perfect.” You extend your hand so he can put the wonky paper ring on your finger. “Thank you.”

“And now you’re engaged! Yay!” Flora pipes up chirpily.

You and Bradley turn to her in panic. “What? No!”

He reddens in the face. “I mean, not yet—” he looks at you and realizes this isn’t something you’ve discussed in the three short months you’ve been together... “Shit! Oh— don’t tell your parents I said that. In fact, don’t tell them anything, okay?”

Flora blinks at him, puzzled.

You suck in a slow breath. “Who wants ice cream?”
