After graduating from Hogwarts, Amit perused the career of a magical historian and worked alongside his close friend, Marie. He traveled to India a lot to study the wizarding relations between both India and the United Kingdom. There, while visiting Aurangabad, he met the woman who would later become his wife and a history professor at a school of magic in India, Varsha Patil.
He and Varsha would have two children together, their eldest, was a girl whom they named Nisha. An energetic girl who was certainly more outgoing than both of her parents combined. She was also extremely protective over her quiet, book loving, and shy younger brother, Rahul, who was a few years younger than her.
Rahul had at least one child, a daughter whom he named Dahlia. She enjoyed spending time with her grandparents and gained an immense love for books and learning from them. She even considered becoming a professor like her grandmother, but decided to work on more specific studies of magical history instead.
During her time at Hogwarts as a Ravenclaw student, she met two brothers who resided in Hufflepuff house named Hickory, Cypress and Oliver Khanna, however they always preferred to go by Corey, Cy and Ollie. Dahlia fell in love with the older of the three brothers, who was the heir to his family’s tree farm but also was quite friendly with Cy and Ollie.
Corey and Dahlia would later marry and have two children of their own, Rowan and Ashok Khanna, who were born in 1973 and 1982 respectively. Dahlia tried to have kids in between them, however the majority of the attempts ended up in miscarriages. The middle name of her daughter was decided to be ‘Varsha’ in honor of her great grandmother’s legacy
Dahlia deeply mourned her daughter after she was killed while at Hogwarts and she, along with her husband, debated sending their son there. However, they decided to send him there regardless as it did not make sense to send their son so far away from them after such a loss.
we're robbed of all khanna family content, despite rowan being The best friend of mc. so, as resident rowan stan, i naturally took the job jc didn't and sharing it with you guys. feel free to use these in your own stories.
CONTENT:
- Hazel and Family
- Anya and Family
- Jehan and Family
- Extras ( Traditions, Fun Facts, etc. )
WARNING: death mention, miscarriage, divorce.
.
HAZEL AND FAMILY
- let's start with the nuclear family. hazel khanna is rowan's mother, and anthony khanna is rowan's dad. not to forget rowan's little brother, ashok khanna, who's about two years younger than harry potter, for reference. which means he's about 10 years younger than rowan and the hphm gang.
- hazel is the eldest daughter of willow khanna, rowan's grandma. hazel has three younger siblings: anya khanna, jehan khanna, and rani khanna. sadly, rani died when she and hazel were little — in a game of hide and seek, she hid in a dangerous part of the farmhouse and hazel was too late when she found her. she carries the tragic guilt for a long time, causing her to develop overprotective tendencies around the people she loves, especially rowan.
- anthony wasn't the first man hazel married. on her age of 18, willow had arranged her with a man she chose for her eldest. hazel experienced a miscarriage, which messed her up horribly considering her past experiences with a child dying thanks to her “lack of caution”. her husband was dissatisfied with her condition and left.
- anthony malhotra is a tall, cheerful guy. he and hazel had been best friends in their hogwarts years, along with two other people ( who i hope isn't very obvious as a rowan x mc activist hahahaha ) in their respective years. they met each other again by accident in a marketplace and caught up after years. anthony learned of the struggles hazel had been going through and stayed with her. he knew he can't help her, but he'll be there for her. after a few years of dating, they got married. they skipped having a baby for a couple of years due to hazel's trauma. but in the end, they had baby rowan.
- hazel tends to be restricting and overprotective when it comes to rowan. rowan is clumsy and loud and is prone to getting themself in trouble, which pushes hazel to fear the worst. she gets neurotic over the smallest scrapes in rowan's knee and over the most common tummyache they get from eating too much candy. anthony reminds hazel to relax, that their kid is fine, they're just being a kid who does kid things. anthony's words are soothing and right, and she relaxes in his arms as they watch their little kid run around chasing ducks.
ANYA AND FAMILY
- ashok khanna is the youngest grandchild of willow in the khanna household. he develops a more mischievous nature while also being little bashful at first. unlike rowan, he doesn't struggle with friends and has a bit of a rebellious streak which makes him likeable by kids his age. though, it's undeniable that he's a mommy's boy.
- anya khanna is the second child to willow khanna. being close in age to hazel ( smart, pretty, responsible, perfect hazel ) and jehan ( beautiful, loved, popular jehan ) leaves her in a somewhat constant “feeling inferior” state. also she's autistic, though not officially diagnosed.
- if you remember rowan mentioning their uncle ollie who makes brooms, this is him ! ollie o'brien is a specialist in broom making and loving his wife. he supports his younger kids' ambition in quidditch, as it is also one of his greatest passions.
- their eldest daughter, apple khanna. she loves baking and is often in charge of big event family meals. she's quiet and reserved but sweet and caring, especially towards her mother. grandma willow likes her for her diligence and obedience, though would love for her to be a bit more chatty and social.
JEHAN AND FAMILY
- their younger pair of twins, joni and jorya khanna. playing in gryffindor's quidditch team, these two are as chaotic as a pair of bludgers. they're loud and enjoy making their presence known by causing trouble. grandma willow finds these two infuriating, and are often the cause of anya looking ten years older. they love to bully and tease their younger cousin, rowan. joni also takes a special interest in duelling, while her twin brother has a secret hobby in sculpting and painting.
- jehan khanna is the third child to willow khanna. he's famous for his modelling work in the wizarding fashion industry, as he's the most fashionable guy in the khanna household. willow is most prideful of him, as his rising star career helps the farmhouse and the family greatly.
- jehan is married to perry gaumont ( they/them ), who is a well-known ballroom dancer in the wizarding arts community. they met during a convention and decided they clicked rather well, so then they hit it off and had two lovely daughters, also following in their parents' footsteps to fame.
- cypress khanna is jehan's eldest daughter, and also the oldest khanna grandchild. she's sweet, graceful, and attractive with a mesmerizing voice. she's a singer and a violinist, famous at a young age — way before she had even joined hogwarts. cypress is willow's favorite grandchild. rowan feels both intimidated and drawn to this particular cousin.
EXTRA:
- kiran khanna is jehan's youngest daughter. unlike her sister, being born into fame at a young age unfortunately makes her entitled and a little spoiled. she often feels one-upped by her sister, receiving less attention whenever she's around. she also enjoys picking on her cousins, especially rowan. grandma willow often overlooks her, which drives her competitive nature over the roofs.
- the founder of the khanna tree farm is a guy named elmer khanna, owner of an elm wand. his grandson came up with the khanna heirloom spell, which is then passed on for generations.
- if you noticed, some of the khannas have names resembling wood names. willow, hazel, cypress, apple, rowan. the khannas uphold this specific family tradition where firstborns are given the name of the tree they choose.
- there's a family heirloom in the form of a spell that can only be cast by a khanna, in which the spell is cast upon the firstborn, allowing the child to feel a strong magical pull towards a tree grown in their farm. the child will be named after the tree, and the wood of said tree is destined to be the firstborn's wand for a lifetime. a broken firstborn’s wand is considered a bad omen.
- cypress was a gryffindor, apple a hufflepuff, kiran a slytherin, the twins gryffindors, and ashok a ravenclaw. rowan was a huge hatstall.
- from the youngest grandkid to the oldest: ashok ( 1 ), rowan ( 11 ), joni and jorya ( 14 ), kiran ( 16 ), apple ( 19 ), cypress ( 20 ).
- jehan and perry helped make the family and community trans friendly, which is why rowan feels more comfortable exploring their own gender and sexuality at a young age.
- i'll add more if i remember !
- anthony, ollie, and perry are absolute trophy husbands who married into the family. <3
- hazel was a gryffindor and anthony was a ravenclaw. they were a group of best friends with kenneth and delia, adel's parents.
- rani stayed behind as one of the farmhouse’s resident ghosts, among with a couple other khannas who chose to stay behind. she’s the youngest ghost in the farmhouse.
- rowan looks a lot like their late aunt rani.
- not sure if i'll make this canon yet, but i made a headcanon ( for my own headcanon lmao ) that hazel's first son is actually alive. r took the baby for some reason and tampered with the khannas memories of the baby, leaving them with the knowledge that the baby was never delivered. the boy is supposedly around the same age as jacob, and is raised in r as their own boy. he later escapes and finds his family, unsure of whether or not the khannas will accept him, a boy they have no memories of, he turns into a fluffy ginger cat. 10 year old rowan takes him in and names him fuzzclaw.
omg rowan’s brother IS younger, i just did a charms class & rowan said ‘i love when my mum sends me stories about my little brother by owl’. so that confirms it. i wasn’t expecting to see that at all but i’m glad i did. idk how it’s gone unnoticed for so long though. i just don’t get why jc hasn’t introduced him yet though like i was really hoping to see him this year but it seems highly unlikely that we will at this point. maybe he’s still too young for hogwarts like rowan didn’t mention him joining soon in any of the years like penny did with bea so maybe that’s why. he could be a squib but they might’ve already mentioned it if he was. or maybe his parents didn’t want him to go to hogwarts, i wouldn’t blame them at all if that was the case given what happened to rowan. but i’m still disappointed whatever the reason may be :/
He's younger. Oh god, I figured he was. I could have sworn that I remembered it being directly confirmed in the flavor text, but I second guessed myself. But this, this is evidence right here! Rowan has a little brother, and is evidently at least somewhat close to him. Loves to read stories about him. We have confirmation that Rowan has a little brother. So where the hell is he? We should have met him by now!
Not introducing him into the main story in Year 7 is a missed opportunity of colossal proportions. But, fine. Maybe he's "too young" for his time at Hogwarts to overlap with MC. (Jam City, you can literally decide how old he is. You understand that, right?) Maybe The Khannas decided to homeschool him after Rowan was killed on Hogwarts' watch. (All we'd need is one line explaining this, by the way, but it's never happened.) Even if either of these things are true, we should still be meeting him. This is Rowan's little brother and their best mate. The fact that they haven't met is absolutely tragic. Why not put him in a TLSQ and give him Draco's sprite? Why were the Khannas not present during Rowan's funeral? They don't even get mentioned. What's up with that? Freaking Ollivander sent a letter of condolences to them, but MC didn't? Come on!

Mumbai: In a momentous occasion at Soundideaz Studio, Andheri (West), Mumbai, the recording of the inaugural song for the much-anticipated feature film “Godaan” has been successfully completed. The film is presented by the esteemed Deen Dayal Kamdhenu Cow Research Centre, with eminent producers Sandeep Marwah and Vinod K. Choudhary leading the creative charge.
The recording session commenced with the auspicious breaking of the coconut and worship of Lord Shri Ganesha by Dr. Satish, the provincial director of Mumbai Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The event witnessed the online presence of key figures, including Jayanand Kumar (National Executive Member Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), Bala Saheb Chaudhary Karwa (Area Sangh Director, West Uttar Pradesh), Mahesh Gupta (President, Kamdhenu Gau Research Center, Mathura), Harishankar (Kamdhenu Research Center, Mathura), Mahendra Ji Bhai Saheb (Area Pracharak, West), along with workers and officials from Uttar Pradesh/Uttarakhand and various union committees, connected via Zoom to witness the historic recording.
Adding an extra layer of celebration, the production team marked the birthday of the illustrious producer, Sandeep Marwah, by cutting a cake within the recording studio. Renowned Bollywood singer Shaan, along with a dynamic chorus, lent their voices to the soul-stirring song titled ‘Jai Gau Jai Gopala…,’ penned by the prolific lyricist Sameer.
Based on the timeless narrative from the legendary writer Munshi Premchand, “Godaan” is helmed by the acclaimed Indian film director Ashok Tyagi. The film boasts a stellar team, including cinematographer Binod Pradhan, action director Babbu Khanna, sound maestro Anoop Dev, and music composer Riju Roy.
This collaboration between Sandeep Marwah, Vinod K. Choudhary, and the Deen Dayal Kamdhenu Cow Research Centre promises to deliver a cinematic masterpiece that resonates with the cultural and literary richness of Munshi Premchand’s iconic work.
Hi. So I'm a slash/yaoi/Shonen-ai fanfiction writer. I'm working on a Harry Potter x Fate/Stay Night Project. Now, just to be clear. I do not support JK Rowling's views. Since I was made aware of them, I have not purchased her products. However, because the Harry Potter books made such a large impact on my life I cannot let the fandom go. I've decided to make my own version of the series.
Now, I've created some AI photos to portray my characters. I have a vivid imagination, but transferring my mental images to paper nearly leaves me in tears. So, here's the challenge.
Using traditional art (watercolor, paint, colored pencils, oil pastels, chalk pastels...) recreate these AI Photos. If you give me permission, I'll even add them to my story. I of course respect all creative property rights and will not use them without your permission. I will of course link back to your profile for accreditation. I will never submit or claim art that is not my own.
If you find this fun and want another challenge, please tell me. I have many ideas and not enough artistic experience to create them. Also, I have more characters, if you would like to request them. :)

Outrage in US over death of Indian student; US govt assures prompt action and investigation
Senior Biden administration officials are believed to have assured the Ambassador and the Indian government that the entire incident has been taken very seriously by them.
WASHINGTON: The Biden administration has assured the Indian government of a quick investigation into the death of Indian student Jaahnavi Kandula in Seattle after being struck by a speeding police patrol car and bringing to justice the police officers who were responsible for it.
The US government swung into action after India’s Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, strongly raised the issue at the highest level in Washington and sought prompt action on the killing of Kandula, and the highly insensitive behaviour of the police officer in Seattle in Washington state.
Kandula was killed in January after she was struck by a police vehicle driven by Officer Kevin Dave. He was driving 74 mph (more than 119 kmph) on the way to a report of an overdose, The Seattle Times newspaper reported on Monday.
In bodycam footage released on Monday by the Seattle Police Department, Officer Daniel Auderer laughed about the deadly crash and dismissed any implication Dave might be at fault or that a criminal investigation was necessary.
US lawmakers and Indian-Americans have expressed outrage over the death of Kandula.
The Biden administration has assured the Indian government of a quick investigation into the incident and bring to justice the police officers who were responsible for it.
Senior administration officials are believed to have assured the Ambassador and the Indian government that the entire incident has been taken very seriously by them. They are monitoring its investigation from Washington DC the progress of the case to ensure that there is adequate accountability.
Officials said that they were “shocked” and “horrified” at this incident.
The Consulate General of India in San Francisco on Wednesday termed the handling of Kandula’s death as “deeply troubling”.
“We have taken up the matter strongly with local authorities in Seattle and Washington State as well as senior officials in Washington DC for a thorough investigation and action against those involved in this tragic case,” the mission said in a post on platform X.
“The Consulate & Embassy will continue to closely follow up on this matter with all concerned authorities,” it added.
“Jaahnavi Kandula came here for graduate work from India. She was killed on a crosswalk by a speeding police car, and officer Auderer said her life had ‘limited value’. I thought of my dad who came here in his 20s. Mr. Auderer, the life of every Indian immigrant has infinite value,” Indian-American Congressman Ro Khanna said.
“Anyone who thinks that a human life has ‘limited value’ should not be serving in law enforcement,” Khanna said.
Indian-American Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal said: “This is appalling. I hope to see justice for Jaahnavi Kandula’s family and accountability for those involved.”
In a letter to the Kandula family, Seattle City Mayor Bruce Harrell said that the comments made by one person do not reflect the feelings of the city or the communities that call it home.
“We recognise that Jaahnavi’s death is a loss for our whole community. The loss of a young woman who had so much life ahead of her to do amazing things and share that joy with loved ones,” Harrell said in his communication to the Kandula family.
Indian Consul General in San Francisco Ashok Mandula has been in constant touch with the officials from Seattle City and Washington State on this issue.
Expressing his deepest condolences to the Kandula family, Harrell said the “community is heartbroken and mourns alongside your family, friends and everyone who shared the privilege of knowing her.”
Expressing condolences on the untimely passing of Kandula, community leader Ajay Bhutoria said her death reminds of the importance of safety and respect for all individuals in the community.
“We are deeply troubled by the unfortunate statement and poor conduct displayed by a Seattle police officer during this incident. Regardless of one’s background or circumstances, every individual deserves dignity, fairness, and compassion,” he said.
Describing this as unacceptable behaviour, Bhutoria said it is crucial that incidents like these are rigorously examined, and accountability is upheld to maintain community trust in the law enforcement agencies.
“As a community, we must unite to support Jaahnavi’s family and advocate for positive change. We urge authorities to take swift action to address this situation and implement measures to prevent such tragic incidents in the future,” Bhutoria said.
The Seattle Office of Police Accountability said that it has opened an investigation into the incident and they need to complete it before January 29.

Suniel Shetty's 'Border' wife now looks like this, once people were crazy about her blue eyes
Sharbani Mukherjee Latest Photos: Released in 1997, JP Dutta's film Border broke box office records. Every actor in this film has created a different place in people's hearts and minds. Based on the Indo-Pakistani War, Border starred Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna, Rakhi Gulzar, Pooja Bhatt, Tabu and Sharbani Mukherjee. In the meantime, Charbani has captivated people's hearts with powerful performances. At the same time, the name of the actress who drove most people crazy in the film was Sharbani Mukherjee whose blue eyes made people go crazy.
This blue-eyed girl played Sunil Shetty's wife in the movie Border. In such a situation, now, 25 years later, Sunil Shetty's wife, Sharvani, let me tell you where she is and what she is doing.
Border Film's Sharvani's Blue Eyes
Sharbani Mukherjee belongs to the world of cinema. Sharbani was born in 1969 to a Mukherjee family. Sharbani has gathered the biggest discussion about her beauty and blue eyes. Sharbani made her Bollywood industry debut as a child actress with her film Haiwan. However, he gained the most recognition after the movie Border.
Few people know that Sharbani Mukherjee, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee are cousins. In reality, his grandmother Sati Rani Devi was the sister of Ashok Kumar and Kishore Kumar. Under such circumstances, when Sharbani entered the film industry and made her debut in the Bollywood world, she left a deep impression on people's hearts and minds with her beauty, but despite all this, her career did not show anything special. .
Sharbani Mukherjee's many beautiful songs have also reached the top in the film industry and are still often heard on people's lips. Sharbani Mukherjee plays Sunil Shetty's wife in the film Border. Sunil Shetty's song in the film, 'Ae Jaate Huye Lamho Zara Thehro Zara Thehro', on her way back to the border from her honeymoon, is still on people's favorite songs list.
Coins didn't work on the movie screen.
Apart from Border, Sharbani Mukherjee has also worked in many films like Mitti and Ansh but her pennies haven't worked much in the film industry. Under such circumstances, he left the Bollywood industry and switched to the Bhojpuri and Malayalam industries. His first film 'Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke' was a huge hit in the Bhojpuri film industry, but his pennies didn't do much in the southern film industry either.
Popularity gained from album songs
Besides this, Sharbani has left a deep impression on people's hearts and minds with Pakistani singer Shazia Manzoor's famous song Ghar Aaja Sonia. In this song, she played the role of a mute girl. Sameer Soni starred alongside Sharbani in the song. This song was one of the best songs of its era. The look of 54-year-old Sharbani has completely changed today. The Charvani we saw in the movie Border 25 years ago and the Charvani today are very difficult to recognize.
