compilation of every character description i caught in the great library series while listening to the audiobooks (might be unreadable for anyone but me—esp bc these r from every single book w no clarification of which parts r from which books and r just dumped haphazardly into my notes—but if u can decipher it, it might b useful!):

Jess: 16/17, tattoo of a closed book on his chest over his heart, scars/cuts on his hands

Brendan: shaggy hair, can raise one eyebrow, tiny scar on his chin, scar on his upper face (“as if he hadn’t a care in the world except for the bloody wound in his head”)

Liam: sharp nose, shaggy blonde-ish hair, died at 17

Thomas: blonde hair, pale eyebrows, blue eyes, is large (looked big enough to bend iron, mugs look like teacups in his hands), neat square writing not a spare loop or line

Scattered mentions of archivists in popular culture

I was doing some searching for archivists in popular culture and did some searching across fandom sites. I learned that there is a game called "Mothergunship" where a group of evil aliens named the Archivists have successfully invaded Earth, with their massive armada in orbit, with the game player trying to take down this evil armada ship-by-ship, with the Mothergunship as the brain of these "Archivists," with its "destruction key to securing humanity’s future." Why would someone name the villains the archivists. What the heck! In the same vein is a bestseller book by Rachel Caine, Ash and Quill, which takes place in North America, with the protagonists having to "find a way to return to Alexandra and face off against the Archivist." Ugh. *sigh*

Filis in Tri-Squad VoiceDrama

There is a solo archivist who appears in bonus material for Ultraman Taiga, a Japanese live-action television series, with the bonus material called Tri-Squad VoiceDrama. This archivist, Filis, is a friend of Ultraman Taiga, the protagonist of the series, who takes care of various artifacts. His fandom page expands a bit on what he does, noting how he is a lone arranger:

"An archivist who manages old relics from past civilizations, Filis is the sole worker in his department. When Taiga was young, he became close friends with him. Taiga always turned to Filis whenever he was upset, or to express his frustration from living under his father's shadow. Filis was one of the few who saw Taiga as himself, not just Taro's son. At one point, Filis showed young Taiga a capsule containing the Triger Shot (a weapon used by Mebius' human form), which held memories of his exploits on Earth and the time spent with his comrades. Through this, Taiga realized it doesn't matter what others think of him, as long as he stays true to himself, and gained the inspiration to train seriously again."

There is even an archivist in the X-Men world! Mystique, otherwise known as Raven Darkhölme, lost contact with her friend Destiny (also known as Irene Adler), and found her "working as an archivist in the Alamogordo nuclear research facilities in New Mexico." Apparently, Mystique trusted her enough to not ask why she was there. There are also some other archivists in animation: Robert Nicholas is a cryptanalysis expert and an archivist who is a member of the Assembly of Saints in Vatican Miracle Examiner while Seiya sees himself as "Minato's archivist, his preserver and protector" in Tsurune. Additionally, in the manga series Children of the Whales, Chakuro is the "Archivist for the Mud Whale, diligently chronicling the lives and deaths of his people," as noted by the Anime News Network. Some claimed that Maximums Rickimus, on the Council of Ricks, in the show Rick & Morty was an archivist and recordkeeper, but he never engages in such tasks in the two episodes he shows up in ("Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind" and "The Rickshank Rickdemption").

Thought i should make an introduction post.. you know after having this account for eight months... Anyway!

Hi I'm finn/viktor! I'm a transmasc and I'm genderfluid, floating somewhere on the aro/ace spectrum however i am in fact in a relationship. Anyone is allowed on my page as long as you aren't making me or anyone else feel any form of discomfort. Spoiler alert, i can and will argue for days, Although if you treat people like that you are probably not worth any effort! My page should be a safe space, despite me literally only posting artwork and such alike, but anyone can come talk to me if needed, i will try to reply!

This blog is mainly for artwork and i usually post about my two current hyperfixations the magnus archives and the mechanisms! I also occasionally post about other fandoms too, but it takes me a while to move on from my interests i suppose (autism strikes again! What a tragedy!) I do also occasionally write and do poetry in my spare time (as well as a long list of other nerdy interests) so let me know if that would be something you would be interested in!

But anyway, feel free to literally request any drawings you want, i personally do not believe in commissions and although i can't promise a time frame for artwork, i will pretty much draw anything. At all. (Although saying that i might decline a request for a drawing if it makes me uncomfortable/it'll make others uncomfortable). Feel free to dm me to talk about drawings/ideas or even theories if you'd like, or just ramble about anything you've seen me post about, for i will be happy to do the same! I promise i don't bite!

I currently have an ongoing series around my personal headcanons for TMA characters but if you'd like to see other series i do have some ideas planned for future!
