okay so wrong fandom, wrong character, wrong everything but
asexual Newt Scamander
it just makes so much sense in my head, he’s ace but at first he doesn’t know it cause like he’s the type to learn how babies are made just because of magical creatures and he has a very scientific vision of it like it’s just a way of reproduction and he figures everyone feels like that and then one day queenie reads his mind and talks to him about this and he learns that a majority of people actually enjoy sex and the idea of it and oh he’s asexual
I hope this makes sense somehow

Thing I did for ACE week 2022
Important disclaimer: I do not claim that any of those characters are actually canonically asexual, unless it's explicitly stated in the media of course. It's mostly just my headcanon. Btw asexuality is a whole ass spectrum itself, it's a broad term. I am proud demi myself and I simply relate to these characters. Nothing more. Thank u <3
,, Embrace the ace!"

Here are some of my aro/ace headcanons:
Disclaimer: these are my personal opinions and even then they aren’t always consistent. I have a couple variations for the same characters. Also I’ll probably make this into a series, since I have a lot
I’m going to try to sort it by fandom/ book series.
Starting off w/ the OG fandom Harry Potter:
- Charlie Weasley: aro-ace. I firmly believe the fan theory that “working with dragons” became a euphemism for being on the aro/ ace spectrums and therefore everyone who works with dragons is on at least one of them.
- Luna Lovegood: demi-romantic/ace. She does eventually get married, but we also don’t ever see her date (though in theory that’s because she’s “odd”, which goes along w/ my HC that she’s neurodivergent)
- Newt Scamander: ace. Once again, he works with dragons. See my parenthetical note about Luna
- I could potentially see book!Hermione as aromantic, as she’s much more ruthless/ less emotional than the movies, but that’s a whole different discussion that falls more into stereotypes than how I actually see her character’s orientations
Sherlock Holmes:
- Every adaptation of Sherlock Holmes is a different variation of aro/ace. Including the original. Here’s how I break them down:
- the original Holmes is on both aro and ace spectrums, but he’s mostly apathetic towards it. He canonically says that he doesn’t prioritize emotions/ feelings (which isn’t exactly true, but I digress), so I think he isn’t completely aro-ace but is apathetic towards both attractions. The only woman he shows any interest in is his intellectual match, which has aro vibes to me
- I haven’t seen enough of the Basil Rathbone adaptation, so I don’t know, but from what I’ve seen he’s similar to the canonical Sherlock
- The RDJ Sherlock is gay(Watson)-oriented aro, demi-ace
- The BBC Sherlock is ace but not sex-repulsed. Just doesn’t really see the point in it
- Elementary’s Sherlock is aro
- We’ve only really seen the Enola Holmes Sherlock in a brotherly perspective, but I still got aro-ace vibes from the books, alà canon!Sherlock
Oh and they’re all in a queer platonic relationship with their respective Watson’s and in BBC Sherlock’s case Lestrade as well
Well this is already pretty long, so I’m gonna stop here. I’ll most likely make another list of more of my HC’s later, but for now this is the end of part 1.

Autism Headcanons
I really like headcanoning characters as autistic, because often autistic people written by nt people are stereotypes (with the exception of Sherlock holmes) so seeing characters who unintentionally relatable to autistics is so important! I have a lot of reasons why I hc Walt Strickler and Newt Scamander as autistic, but maybe I'm just projecting. But look at the concepts! (Some of these may be Canon. Shh let me infodump)
Edward (Edward Scissorhands): Isolated man-made sweetheart with scissors for hands who is incredibly gentle but doesn't understand Society™️. He moves robotically, is mainly nonverbal, doesnt understand common social rules, such as the "if you found a briefcase full of money, what would you do?" Since Autistic people like me need very good reasons to follow rules, and Edward doesnt understand how giving your loved ones found money is "wrong". He uses his "disability" to channel his creativity in his gardening, hedge-trimming, and haircutting. But he was willing to give it all up just to fit in! I have seen many emotional movies, but this is truly the only one thst made me sob out loud, because of how much i could relate. Hes ME. also Tim Burton himself is at least speculated to be on the spectrum, and many see the movie as a whole as an allegory for autism. This doesnt mean that i believe the scissors THEMSELVES are a symbol for autism, because even if edward didnt have them he still exhibits very autistic traits.
Sherlock Holmes: genius detective who's neutral good, physically fights pedos, drinks respect women juice, gay-asexual, and does Crack in his spare time. At the time, nobody knew what autism was! But sherlock is so clearly autism-coded its hard to ignore. Im talking about every adaptation Ever. My first exposure to Sherlock Holmes was the BBC series (granted, i know its not necessarily the most well-written adaptation, but listen) and i was SHOOK at how autistic he was. Even in the novels hes percieved as keeping his things cluttered, but he has a purpose in his clutter, and organizes his thoughts. He goes off on tangents before going back to his original point. Basil of Baker Street, basically Sherlock Holmes in Disneys the Great Mouse Detective, VISIBLY STIMS ONSCREEN. anyway nobody needed convincing on that one but yeah.
Newt Scamander (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them): kind, soft wizard who keeps magical creatures in a briefcase. He's soft-spoken, drops eye-content mid conversation, and PURSUES A LIFE OF CONSERVING MAGICAL CREATURES. HES THE ONLY ONE OF HIS PROFESSION IN THE WORLD. ITS ALL RIGHT THERE.
Fiver (Watership Down): a runty, anxious rabbit with the power of prophecy. the theory of Fiver being autistic isnt originally mine (look through my reblogs) but i fully accept it. Now, its debatable whether autism is a Thing among animals or if it presents itself another way, but then again this is fiction. Where to begin with Fiver? Hes based off the Greek Myth of Cassandra, who was blessed with divination but cursed to never be believed. Growing Up With Autism. I cant explain it but you Autistic readers will understand. And simply look at his character!
Erik Destler (the Phantom of the Opera, Phantom): disfigured savant, expert illusionist, lives in the basement of an opera house. In Phantom by Susan Kay he's portrayed as a savant, and while not all savants are born that way, one out of ten autistics are also autistic savant. His hyperfixation on the macabre, his immense creative drive, its all there knock yourselves out.
Walt Strickler: a devious shapeshifting idiot with genius energy, who drops sick dad jokes, huge history nerd, a minority in his own country while at the same time belonging to no country. This might be just me projecting but I thought it was genius. There's also the widely accepted history theory that the Changeling Myth was based off early perceptions of Autism, and whether this suggests that all the Changelings in ToA are autistic is, I believe, false, since in Trollhunters, changelings are made, but autists are Born, not Made. But Strickler is by far my favorite to fixate on! He's such a good concept as an autistic character because he doesn't fall into the stereotypes that intentionally-written autists do. He's sassy, sarcastic, and is simply UNBEARABLE with puns. I view his Villainous Actions™️ of clicking the pen and sitting on tables as stimming or autistic habits, and his odd collection of books. Despite him not being human himself, he has a WILD fascination with human history and culture, which is a better hyperfixation for an autistic character than He Likes Trains and Math. Strickler also has the general Vibe of someone who's constantly holding back from going completely Feral and Rabid. Absolute autism energy
Wow sorry for the dump. Maybe I'm just desperate for real representation ahaha. I'll make an ADHD list soon, with the help of my ADHD expert friend, so if any are missing here, they may be there

Charlie Weasley
i love him so so so so so so so much!!
Tumblr media
Request by: @mxnique-gibeau
I hope you like it and i love you!
He's autistic and his special interest is dragons. When he was a child, his room was full of books and dragons stuff, Molly hated it but Arthur loved it.
I personally see him as asexual and demiromantic, is so hard to catch his attention cause he doesn't care about having someone, he's happy with his lifestyle.
He's trans. (ftm)
He loved do pranks with Tonks when they´re were in Hogwarts.
He was almost a Hufflepuff.
He also loves plants, he knows a lot about it, he also knows muggles herbs medicine.
Like his dad, he loves muggles things!!!
He doesn't have a good relationship with Molly.
He kinda understands Percy, he doesn't justify his actions, but he can understand him.
When he was a child, he followed Bill everywhere, he was like a lost puppy.
He absolutely adores Fleur, is probably his favorite sister-in-law.
He saw all the "how to train your dragon" movies like 2837493733837 times.
He can spend hours just watching the dragons, they can do literally nothing and he will be like "aren't they the most beautiful creatures ever?"
He met Newt Scamander once and almost die of happiness.
He loves Newt, like, he has all his books and knows everything about him.
He's still bad at apparition.
Now the ultimate canon one:
I'm his partner🤭

Harry Potter meets the Multiverse:
What if each Horcrux ties Voldemort to the Voldemort from another universe. And when he dies in one Universe his soul is transferred to the Horcrux it is linked too. By consequence, the Harrys are tied to each other too. Not one of them knows about this connection though. 6 Horcruxes are inanimate objects and thus it is near impossible for Harry to feel the connection. The Harry that is linked to Nagini sometimes feels something, but he thinks it’s just another effect of his weird connection with Voldemort. The only exception is the Harry that is tied to the Horcrux that was never meant to exist. Because that Harry is tied to another person. And that Harry is the only one that feels what happened when the Voldemort from his world dies. And so Harry researches. And by the time Key Harry reaches the scene with the 7 Potters, the other Harry has a ritual ready that brings each Harry into Key Harrys world to fight Voldemort. Because destroying the Horcruxes brings forth the soul that was stored within. And to fight 9 Voldemorts, you need 9 Harry Potters. Besides 9=3*3 and we all know that witches have a thing with 3s
Key Harry - Canon Harry
1. Slytherin Harry - Slytherin’s locket: when the hat put Harry into Slytherin, it changed everything. Harry grew up knowing exactly how much power he had and how many titles and what those titles meant. With the help of his Slytherin friends and his bonded, he not only managed to rid the world of Lord Voldemort, but exposed Dumbledore for the manipulator that he was too. (Different timeline from sorting on)
2. Auror Harry - Voldemort’s final soul piece: When the war ended, Harry thought he had it all. A wife, a career, a way to move forward. But he was sorely mistaken. Harry had never learned to maintain a healthy relationship, so his marriage broke apart. The only thing he is good at, is his job. But the Ministry is draining him of all will to live. Firewhiskey is his only excape. (Different timeline from after the war)
3. Professor Harry - asexual - Rovena Ravenclaw’s diadem: When the war ended, Harry left. He needed distance from a world, that only saw their savior in him. Moving to the US and finishing his schooling there, Harry found a new calling. He was apprenticed by none other than Newt Scamander himself and found love in a place he would never have expected. (Different timeline from after the war)
4. Female Harry - Tom Riddle’s diary: Harriet Potter has been fighting every day of her life. First she had to fight to survive at the Dursley’s. Then she had to fight for her life every school year. In her 6th Year Harriet decides she is done fighting other people’s wars. She seeks out allies for herself and finds them in Slytherin. Together with Draco Malfoy she unites Hogwarts and exposes the fact that Lord Voldemort has always been but a creation of Dumbledore. (Different timeline from year 6 - except gender)
5. Non-binary Harry - Helga Hufflepuff’s cup: When James and Lily heard that Voldemort would be after them. They listened to everything Dumbledore was telling them. Like the obedient soldiers the headmaster saw in them, they nodded along to everything he said. When the headmaster had left to collect Peter and prepare the Fidelius Charm, the Potters sprung into action. They took Harry and left England. In France, on an old Black property, they were taken in by Lucius and Narcissa, who had fled the war after the birth of their girl Dracona. Growing up in a stable and safe environment Harry gets to be a normal teenager and discover themselves. But Voldemort never forgot about the Potters and one one fateful night he found them. He was just not prepared for the whirlwind of magic the androgynous creature in front of him could unleash when their girldfriend was threatened. (Different timeline from beginning)
6. Gay Harry Marvolo Gaunt’s ring - Harry’s obsession with Draco Malfoy had never been only about hate. And when he follows Malfoy into the bathroom in their sixth year, something keeps him from attacking the other boy. Together Harry and Draco realize that they are both sides of the same coin and decide to not let their family ties rule their lives anymore. They fall in love and their love unites Slytherin and Gryffindor. Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw soon follow suit. And a united Hogwarts is something not even Voldemort can win against. (Different timeline from year 6)
7. Rebel Harry - Nagini: Voldemort won the war before it had even started. Dumbledore was dead. But not all have given up. The small fraction that is left of the Order of the Phoenix and the DA is still fighting. Rumour has it, that Ron Weasley is leading the rebels. But then a Deatheater spies a fighter with a lightning scar over his whole face and green eyes. Harry Potter was alive! A dangerous and daring plan gets rid of Voldemort himself, but Bellatrix Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy take over. Voldemort is dead, but the war isn’t won yet. (Different timeline from year 4)
8. Link Harry, female, the only one that looks like Lily but has James’ eyes - Key Harry: When Remus and Sirius got the news, that Voldemort had found and attacked James and Lily, they immediately rushed over to their home. It was too late though. The Potters were dead. Maddened by grief, Sirius wanted to go after Pettigrew, but the sight of Remus standing there with Harriet in his arms, crying silently in his shock, was enough to break him out of it. He claimed Harriet as was his right as her godfather and together they raised a strong, independent mischievous girl that may have looked like Lily Potter, but was the daughter of Sirius Black through and through. When she was sorted into Slytherin, Sirius first thought he would have an aneurysm, but Remus helped him to get over it. The friendship between Harriet and Dracona Malfoy helped Sirius mend the relationship he had with his cousin Narcissa. When Peter helped Voldemort to be resurrected, the Dark Lord was in for a surprise, as his most loyal servant - Lucius - did not come back to join him. The death of Sirius nearly destroyed Harriet and Remus, but they came out on the other side fighting. Harriet took over the Order. Then they found a little metamorphmagus-werewolf baby. Remus sacrificed himself to allow Harriet to get away and she fled with the baby to the one place she was safe - Hogwarts - where newly minted Potions Professor Dracona Malfoy had just started teaching. And Harriet had enough. She had lost too many people to the Dark Lord. In an epic battle she defeated him and that’s when it happened the first time. She saw another version of Harry Potter (she thought it was her dad at first). (Different timeline completely)

For the ask game: Newsies (obviously), Ralbert and Elmer. Have a good day! :)
This is days late- i thought I had already done this. And if I have and this is a second version then, damn It.
001 | Newsies (absolutely no idea why)
Favorite character: Spot
Least Favorite character: Buttons, not sorry. Oh and Snyder.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): I don’t really have... favorite ships, but ok. Dave and Jack (Both versions). 1992 Spot and Race. Hotshot and Ike. (1992) Mush and Kid. Extremely controversial but... Elmer and Spot. It’s more of the polar opposites, fire and water, dynamic.
Character I find most attractive: Elmer (Livesies) and Henry (both original and Livesies)
Character I would marry: Elmer or Henry or Skittery
Character I would be best friends with: The Brooklyn boys.
a random thought: The way Skittery checks up on Tumbler after Spot breaks up a fight between him and another kid.
An unpopular opinion: Copy and Paste: Elmer and Spot. It’s more of the polar opposites, fire and water, dynamic.
My Canon OTP: David’s folks?
My Non-canon OTP: I don’t participate in this kind of thing but, Racetrack and Corona cigarets
Most Badass Character: Spot
Most Epic Villain: If the villains had an epic number like newsies then this could be responded, but since they were just boring adults, this has no answer.
Pairing I am not a fan of: Buttons and Elmer
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Mush, that sweet angel could not sexualize anything. They just put him as a womanizer to have that parallel to the real Mush.
Favourite Friendship: Spot and Kid (1992), Spot and the Brooklyn Boys. Tommy Boy and Finch. Romeo and Elmer.
Character I most identify with: Spot
Character I wish I could be: Spot
002 | Ralbert
When I started shipping them: People keep track of this?
My thoughts: I respect it, I wouldn’t take it away from anymore. I also wouldn’t stand in line for it. Well maybe a short line.
What makes me happy about them: Idiots in love
What makes me sad about them: Thinking about what would happen if one died.
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: That they are perfect for each other. No no, that they have to use drugs in order to make a proper story according to a lot of fan fic writters
Things I look for in fanfic: I’ve only read 1 fanfic of them, but i guess either one of them making an idiot out of themselves.
My wishlist: i don’t know- au
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Albert and Jojo. And I feel like Race would say that he deserves better than the rest of the newsies
My happily ever after for them: Working in the same sort of building, but in different sections. They never get married because they’re against it. But they do have like promise rings that mean as much as marriage or even more.
003 | Elmer
How I feel about this character: I love him I love him I love him I love him I love him I love him I would yell out in a beach that I love him. He is a literally angel fallen to earth. We don’t deserve him whatsoever.
Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: myself Spot
My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Romeo and Henry and Jojo
My unpopular opinion about this character: not asexual or aromantic
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: that he would have said some kind of dorky kinda comment or mentioned something in a smart way
Favorite friendship for this character: Romeo and Henry and Jojo
My crossover ship: nope. But I feel like if he was in a Hogwarts AU, and Newt Scamander was teaching how to care for magical creatures they’d hit it off and newt would be awkward around everyone but his creatures and Elmer. They’d just be a pair of caring Hufflepuffs.

FINALLY picked a title for the upcoming chapter of twthlam
i realize ive only posted about twthlam (the way that he looks at me) like once on here but most of yall follow me on quotev anyway so hopefully you know what im talking about
if you dont, twthlam is my harry potter fanfic thats an oc x fred weasley enemies to lovers and i love it to death bc i love my oc(s) to death. she and the other two fitzlets (fitzeroy triplets) are half american, half french and all chaos. i went way overboard and made six original characters for this particular fanfic since theyre kinda all a package deal and bc i six degrees of kevin bacon pretty much all my characters but on the plus side it means that theres a lot of diversity and all the houses are at least a little represented with a strong character. cant really say that much for the books. my condolences to all ravenclaws and any slytherins who actually like,,, arent assholes. hufflepuffs have newt scamander so im happy with that.
its also Very Queer™️ bc fuck jk rowling, the wizarding world belongs to the gays and if you dont like that you dont have to read it. you have the power to put the book down (metaphorically since its,,, a fanfic,,, but phobes dont have power anyway so who cares). but a big theme of it is just navigating sexual and romantic attractions, especially when theyre different from each other, and especially when theyre not aimed at people you would think they would be aimed at.
and just bc im incapable of writing things i cant relate to, most of my characters are disabled on some level or another. i myself am still trying to navigate usage of labels like disabled (where i consider myself very much a disabled person, other people [who are usually able bodied but sometimes not] like to tell me im not so idk how to label myself bc i wanna be proud of who and what i am but i constantly have people telling me im wrong but ah hey nothing new there).
anyways tldr: my addled asexual oc laelia is qpps with george weasley but hates fred with a burning passion for reasons neither of them fully understand but have kept up for several years. and then Shit Happens.
but the scene im currently writing for it involves turning laelia into a worm and i love it so much that im just gonna name the entire fucking chapter "wormlia" bc it makes me laugh
coming,,, sometime soon hopefully idk

Fictional male characters that I headcanon as being on the asexuality spectrum:
- Sirius Black, the "Harry Potter" Franchise.
Nobody would expect it of him. He has a reputation for himself throughout Hogwarts for being a "Black". People just assume that he is like the rest of his family and assume that he likes to sleep around with people and then brush them aside. But the idea of that makes Sirius very uncomfortable. He finally works up the courage to speak to Remus about it and is overwhelmed by the understanding of his boyfriend, who shows him that it is okay to feel the way he does.
- Davey Jacobs, "Newsies".
Davey could never understand why Les and his Newsie friends were so concerned with women, and he did question whether he was "normal" but he, with the love and understanding of one Jack Kelly, soon learned that there was nothing wrong with him and grew to accept his asexuality.
- Newt Scamander, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them".
Newt understands physical attraction and contraception, he has studied the behaviour of his creatures since he was young - and it fascinated him to try to break that behaviour apart because he had never fully understood human attraction. He knows what sex is, and he understands the concept of it. He's just not interested in it. And that's perfectly okay with him and those that love him.
- Sherlock Holmes, BBC's "Sherlock".
It's been discussed many times on this app so I won't go into it but Sherlock is asexual and in love with John Watson. That's all.
- Vince Noir, "The Mighty Boosh".
Like Sirius Black, Vince has given himself the reputation of someone that sleeps around for fun but the truth is entirely the opposite. He's never seen the attraction to sleeping with another person, or thing, and he flinches at idea of another person touching him that way. It fascinates him but he is too afraid to explain it to Howard because he simply doesn't know how to.
- DI Alec Hardy, "Broadchurch".
DI Alec Hardy never felt sexual attraction towards his wife. He never felt sexual attraction towards anyone. He just slept with his wife to conceive his daughter, and that was it. He was okay with it. He did, however, struggle to understand the motivations of offenders when trying to solve sexual offences. Ellie helped him to understand this better once he found the courage to speak to her about it. She was very understanding.
- Dr. Spencer Reid, "Criminal Minds".
Spencer Reid has difficulty communicating his emotions to people, but he understands the reasons behind sexual activity. He just doesn't care for it. He doesn't feel that attraction. Derek Morgan once took the mick out of him for his lack of sexual partners and for being a "virgin", which further instilled his belief that Reid was younger than he should be, but Spencer finally found the courage to infodump about asexuality one day, and Morgan apologised for being insensitive - which made JJ and Garcia smile immensely through pride.
- The Captain, BBC's "Ghosts".
The Captain never kissed or felt the attraction towards anyone. He is a homoromantic-asexual, and he always knew that. He just doesn't ever want to tell anyone. But one day, he informs Pat and Pat accepts him for who he is because he loves him so much.
- Aziraphale and Crowley, "The Good Omens".
Canon. There's not much I need to say but their love for one another is so precious, and they don't feel the need to connect in any other way that the way they always have done.
- Eddie Kasprak, Stephen King's "IT".
I headcanon Eddie as sex-repulsed. It grosses him out and he doesn't fully understand it. He hates physical touch as it is, but that part of humanity just makes him shudder.
- Endeavour Morse, "Endeavour".
Morse has always wondered why crimes of passion usually tend to be so violent. He's never experienced sexual attraction to anyone. He just feels deep, romantic attraction to certain people and he's pretty content with that part of himself.
However, sometimes, he does endeavour (haha) to please his partners wherever he can. He is not sex-repulsed, he is just not attracted to people in that way.
- Harry Hart, "Kingsman".
Harry has loved before but he has never felt that sexual attraction. He stumbled across the term while doing research for a case and kept it to himself until he had to use his knowledge to profile a suspect. Merlin was confused as to why he knew so much and Harry eventually told someone about how he really felt. Eggsy later learned of this and loved Harry even more for being so honest with him.
- Enjolras, "Les Misérables".
Enjolras doesn't understand love. He never has. He only cares for advocating for equality. Enjolras would always tune out whenever his friends spoke of sex, or planned to visit sex workers. He hated the idea of it.
The concept of sex and love repulses him, and the only person that can make him somewhat understand this concept is Grantaire. However, he doesn't entirely understand what he feels for Grantaire - it confuses him and he doesn't like to think about it so he pushes the smaller man away.
But he knows that there is something there. He always has. And Grantaire was very understanding of his sexuality because - well - he loves Enjolras just the way he is.
- Dr. Egon Spengler, "Ghostbusters".
Egon is autistic-coded, and he recognises that Janine is attracted to him but he puts up a barrier enough to turn her attention elsewhere. He isn't sexually attracted to anyone, but he feels a strong romantic attraction to Dr. Ray Stantz. So I headcanon him as a demiromantic asexual.
That was such a long list but those are my top headcanons. As an asexual person myself, these are the characters that most resonate with me. I see myself in them all and I love them.
Who are your favourite asexual headcanons?
