Para || When in Greece... Part 2
WHO: Hunter & Sebastian WHERE: Greece! WHEN: TBA WHAT: Little snippet of Hunter and Sebastian’s time in Greece, part 2. Warnings for... well, nothing except things getting a little... sentimental.
Hunter was in love with everything about Greece. Greece - for the tourists at least - seemed to have this breezy atmosphere that amplified the feeling of being on vacation. Not to mention the bright buildings in Santorini that made him think of old musicals and living in linen pants and no shirt. "One day I'm going to live here," Hunter joked, tugging the small backpack even tighter onto his back as he stopped long enough to fish around for a water bottle. "Not sure I could have their food waiting on me and keep the eight-pack, though...."
Sebastian absolutely loved Greece. He loved the weather, the simplicity of the towns, and being so close to the ocean; one of the things he missed about being in California. Santorini had some of the most beautiful buildings Sebastian had ever seen. "Yeah?" He chuckled, smiling. "I could see you here. On a boat, shirt open, or off," he hummed, looking around them. "The food here is delicious though. I haven't had such fresh food in a long time."
Hunter let the fantasy swirl around him, imagining a fancy sailboat in the middle of the sea, the Greek sun settling on his skin and leaving it a constant shade of tan. "Probably off. I want to wear as little clothing as possible at any given time," he said on a laugh. "I could be a nudist if it didn't mean having to see other people naked. Maybe we can hire a private chef to come back home with us. Think we'd end up fighting over who gets him what days?"
Sebastian wouldn't mind living on the sea like that. He had always imagined moving back to Paris, but Greece was becoming a love of his. He could get a house there, somewhere to vacation. It'd be a life that he'd be all too happy to have. "I'd be okay with you going nude around me all the time, but just not in public," he said, pulling his sunglasses up to wink at Hunter. "Hmm.. I wouldn't mind getting a personal chef, but we'd definitley be fighting over them," he nodded, grinning.
Hunter pointed out a hiking trail labeled 'Fira' and nudged him encouragingly, hoping that he'd want to go with him. The red and blue and golden rooftops were entrancing and so were the arches with crosses over them and the view of the water that extended down for days. "So the nude beaches are out of the picture?" The wink was easily returned, and for a second he debated stripping off his shirt to more fully enjoy the sunshine. "Well, I'm a decent cook.... so you might need him or her more," Hunter teased.
Sebastian nodded happily and turned onto the tail with Hunter. He had seen plenty of architecture in his travels, but nothing quite compared to the bright colors and how everything seemed to puzzle piece together. "So long as everyone knew you were with me," he teased. "I'm not in the sharing mood," he smirked. He had already unbuttoned his shirt a little lower than he normally would, enjoying the warmth of the city. "Excuse you," Sebastian laughed. "I can't help that I never thought cooking was that important to learn."
Hunter would've dove into the water if it wouldn't have sucked to continue walking in soaked clothing. He'd never seen water quite that blue before, quite that clear. "There are ways to make sure they know that, babe." He didn't stop them from walking even though the unbuttoning of the other's shirt was a little distracting, instead leaning over mid-stride to kiss Sebastian. Keeping it as easy as the rest of the trip had been. "You gotta eat somehow, right? Going out to eat isn't always possible in a foreign country where everything shuts down early. Much more fun to learn when you actually choose delicious food to learn."
Sebastian walked close to Hunter, keeping their strides the same. Everything with Hunter felt so easy to Sebastian. They understood each other like no one had ever understood Sebastian before. "Oh. My hands wouldn't leave your body," He smirked. "No one else would have the chance to steal you from me," he teased despite how serious he felt about it. He kissed Hunter back, taking a moment to cup his cheek before they pulled away. "That's where pasta come in handy," he laughed. "It's one of the few things I can't mess up," he grinned, pulling Hunter by the hand to the side of the road to look out across the water. "Wow."
Hunter let the ocean breeze ruffle through his hair and sighed in relief at the contrast between the heat. This was going in his top 3 trips already. "You have no idea just how fucking hot that'd be. Makes me want to head to a nude beach soon just to see how you handle it." When Sebastian pulled out of the kiss he hesitated in his next movement. Not for long, but for long enough that when he decided to go through with it was a sure thing. Hunter's fingers found Sebastian and laced through his, waiting a beat to make sure it was alright. "Blaine's helped me expand my repertoire, so I'm up to being able to stir fry now. It's pretty impressive." The view was insane, and he honestly didn't know what to say to it. "How do people ever leave?"
Sebastian hummed softly with a smile, taking a breath. "Oh yeah? Want to see me all hot and bothered, Clarington? You know you could have that in your bed anytime," he smirked. He ignored how the thought of someone else getting Hunter to themselves made his blood boil. Sebastian wasn't sure what to make of the look on Hunter's face when the kiss broke. He was about to ask what was wrong, but then Hunter took his hand. Smiling softly, Sebastian folded his fingers against Hunter's hand, nudging him softly. "He tried to teach me to cook, but I'm not sure I'm the best student," he laughed. "I..don't want to have to leave. I'm glad we extended our trip. This is beautiful."
Hunter 's lips tugged up at the corners, trying to stifle a grin. "Can't say it's not up there on my favorite visuals, Smythe. As much as I love you in my bed it's undeniably charming to think of you getting handsy in public." It was a huge relief when Sebastian didn't pull away from the small amount of affection. It wasn't something either of them did as far as he knew, and maybe they were just sleeping together but it didn't make it any less intimidating. Maybe more intimidating, actually. "If anyone's going to be patient with you it'll be him. Or me if you're real lucky," he said with a grin, nudging his shoulder in a mirror movement. "So am I. Can't believe I managed to forget about Regionals when it's such a big deal, but as much as I'm glad the Warblers got their win this is a lot more fun than singing along in a giant audience. Want to go down to the water?"
Sebastian shrugged, "I'm with you on this trip. I don't want to let someone steal you away," he said, trying to to hide the fact that it's make him extremely jealous. "So would it be one handed handsyness?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at Hunter. Sebastian had never been much for hand holding, but with Hunter, it felt different to him. It felt like something he should be doing with Hunter. He felt a weird amount of pressure on everything which he couldn't quite place. They were nothing but very close friends and yet Sebastian felt like there was something there that he didn't want to fuck up. "Oh yeah? You'd want to help me cook?" he hummed softly, kissing Hunter's shoulder. "I'm proud of them," he nodded. "They did amazing. But I'm incredibly happy to be here..with you," he smiled. "Can we please?"
Hunter ducked his head to hide the way his lips curled up. The hints of jealousy were strangely endearing. "My taste is too great for them to be able to steal me away, pretty and tan or not. Think one-handed handsyness is possible? I don't really want to let go." Leaning into Sebastian was easy. Soaking up the warm skin on his already heated up skin, the breeze moving the smell of the ocean directly into his senses. Sebastian solid at his side and their hands not feeling sweaty despite the humidity in the air. "Of course. We could make something simple? Something regional, even." His head fell onto Sebastian's at the movement and he closed his eyes to enjoy it. "So am I. Lead the way, babe. We can strip down and go swimming? I want to know if the water's as clear when you're in it as it is from here."
Sebastian couldn't help but feel glad that Hunter wasn't going off with some Greek guy. He had never felt that kind of jealousy over someone before and he didn't know what to make of it. "Good to know that I can beat them out," he smirked. "Well I have no plan on letting go, so, don't," he smiled softly. Sebastian stayed close to Hunter's side, looking out over the city. He loved the slow pace of things and feeling like he could take his time walking around and enjoying where they were. "Id like that," he nodded. "Remind us of our time here," he hummed. The corners of Sebastian's mouth turned up at the feeling of Hunter's head against his own. "That sounds fun," he said as he steered them down the trail towards the ocean. "It makes me never want to go into the ocean back home."
Hunter stretched his free arm up over his head, rotating the wrist and his elbow before shoving his free hand into his pocket." Not going to babe." Once they got to the edge of the ocean he let the conversation drop to strip down to his underwear, laying his clothes out where they could stay dry by the edge, on the sand. "The dark, dark ocean sounds much less appealing when you've seen a sight like this. Maybe we can find a place like this back in the United States. Someplace that makes you feel like you're.... diving into the air with how clear the view is." He only let go of their joined fingers to wade into the water, beckoning Sebastian to come follow him with one crooked finger.
Sebastian liked walking along the edge until they reached the beach and the ocean. He was glad it wasn't a crowded area, not liking having to be too close to others on the beach. Laying his clothing beside Hunter's, Sebastian admired the male in front of him and nodded. "We should try to find a place like this. Maybe there's one hidden somewhere," he smiled, letting Hunter go into the water. Following after him, Sebastian smiled, wading out until he had reached the other. "Oh wow this is nice."
Hunter was glad that it wasn't summer yet. A summer visit might have been hotter in terms of temperature, but it would mean being surrounded by tourists and nothing about that sounded appealing. "We can take more trips. See what we can find." When Sebastian was at his side he pulled him in and kissed him slowly, water lapping around his legs and the noise of the small waves crashing adding to the atmosphere. "How do people ever get tired of a place like this?"
Sebastian hated tourists. He tried not to look too much like one even when he was in a place he hadn't been before. He liked to try and fit in the best that he could, not make it seem like he know what he was doing. "I'd like that. There's so many places that I'd love to see still," he nodded, smiling. "I've always wanted to go to Fiji," he said, smiling at the warmth of the water. Sebastian's arms went around Hunter's neck, kissing him back softly. "I don't know. I don't think I'd ever get tired of this. Not a chance."
Hunter perked up at the idea of Fiji despite the already incredibly exotic location that they were at. "Fiji is amazing. Went there three or four years ago, Denarau Island is this hot spot of golfing and skiing and swimming, just whatever other water sports that you can think of and you have access to them." His arms were so solid on Sebastian's back, looping loosely and letting a broad palm splay across the small of his back. "Maybe we can convince all of our friends to move here. Then we'd have no reason to go back."
Sebastian grinned at him. "You'll have to take me to Fiji then. Tell me all the good places to go," he nodded. "Did I every tell you I'm a great golfer?" He asked, beaming at the other. Sebastian kept his arms locked around Hunter's neck, smiling against the other's lips. "I'd love to convince them to all move here. bring Jett, Gus, and Mr. Puss," he nodded. "We'd never have to leave again. We could stay here forever and live here and have a boat. We need a boat."
Hunter could already picture the trip, and since there wasn't anything wrong with planning trips with friends he was already penciling it in in his head. "Maybe sometime over the summer?" A smirk played at the edge of Hunter's mouth and he rocked back on his heels in the water. "You didn't. Please tell me you have the entire golfing outfit. And an initialed set of clubs." This kiss was softer, lingering. It took a few minutes before he was ready to talk. "We can get a boat. A houseboat too. Name them each something equally as ridiculous."
Sebastian nodded, "Summer in Fiji? How could I turn that down?" He smiled, glad that they were already planning another trip together. He was finding Hunter to be an excellent travel partner, so it made sense to keep doing it. "I may or may not have a full golf outfit and clubs," he laughed. "It was a birthday present, I think," he smiled. Sebastian kept himself close to Hunter, fingers brushing the back of Hunter's neck. "We could live on the water together. Think Mr. Puss would like living on a boat?"
Hunter grinned. "You can't. That's totally the point." Amsterdam, Fiji, maybe New Zealand. They were going to end up filling up their passport in no time at this rate. "You think? So there's no chance that you went out and bought them for yourself, huh?" It was clear teasing, and he made sure of it. The fingers at the back of his neck made him shiver, and his eyes shut as he stole another kiss, and another. "Sounds fantastic. Might have to get him his own house connected to the land though so he doesn't freak out everytime the boat moves."
Sebastian laughed, "Fiji in the summer it is," he grinned. "I have to take you to Paris sometime too," he nodded. "You'll love it," he nodded. There was something... romantic about being in Paris with Hunter. When he went with Jeff it was just for the fun of it, but it felt different with Hunter. "Well the outfit might have been me," he teased, kissing him back each time their lips touched. "Really? You'd get him his own house?" he chuckled. "Gus might want to be there with him then," he nodded. "I don't think he'd be into boats."
Hunter beamed in an uncharacteristically bright manner. "Paris sounds incredible. You can let me meet your Grandma, potentially. She sounds like she'd have a lot of stories to tell about you." Paris seemed like a good way to really get to know Sebastian, and he could admit to himself that was something that he wanted to do. "They can have their own kitten house. Maybe have it on shore, connected by a series of tubes or something." As much as he was enjoying the conversation he cut it short by falling back in the water and pulling Sebastian with him, splashing them both and getting them fully soaked.
Sebastian loved seeing Hunter smile; truly smile. It wasn't something he remembered seeing much at Dalton, but now, he felt like he was seeing it more and more. "You can meet Grandma. And try her sandwiches. They're the best," he laughed. "Just ask Jeff. And I can show you all the paces I grew up," he nodded. "Oh, don't get Grandma started on stories!" He smiled. He really wanted Hunter to meet his Grandma; he just hoped they'd get along. "They would love that," he chuckled, falling into the water. As he surfaced, Sebastian shook his head to get his hair out of his face and looked at Hunter. "Bastard."
