CALLING ALL JOKER FANS
OK, this might be a little bit of a weird post but bare with me...
So basically, I bought this teddy bear at the Goodwill and I wanted make it kind of a comfort item for myself. I wanted to make it look like one of my favorite comfort characters, and who better to turn this cute little teddy bear into than our lovely Arthur Fleck, right?
Considering how much I love Arthur and how much I know many others do as well I was wondering if anyone out there would be interested in fallowing me through the process of turning this bear into Arthur.
I will be making everything from scratch, from his outfit, to his shoes, to his iconic yellow/tan hoodie. I will also be adding all the little details that make Arthur, Arthur such as his hair and so on. I am sparing no expenses.
If anyone is interested I would very much appreciate it if you could reblog and maybe even like and comment on this post so that others who are interested as well may see this post as well.
Thank you so much for reading this far and I will be posting regular updates on the bear as they happen.
Bear I will be using pictured below:

I Love You // Arthur Fleck
X GENDER NEUTRAL!READER
Summary: Arthur, your neighbour, has had a tough time lately. You figured you’d do what you can to help out.
TW: mention of Arthur’s nutritional state
Arthur’s way of dealing with things had been relatively alright while the social workers had been open and had enough funding to actually look after their patients. He had talked to the social worker, let out his feelings and issues over several cigarettes.
Until Gotham cut funding to social services like that one. Arthur no longer had access to his medication and it killed you to see him struggle through that. That’s why you came up with a plan to help him.
You had been paid earlier in the week, which meant you could make rent, and finally catch up on the bills. It also meant you had a little more money to spend, and after seeing how Arthur was, you made up your mind on what you wanted to spend it on. It wasn’t a very hard decision to make.
You wandered your way all over the dirty streets of Gotham, fighting tooth and nail with doctors and pharmacists to get each of the seven different medications. They were expensive, but God, Arthur deserved it. While you were out and about, you figured it wouldn’t be a bad idea to grab some food for him too, but nothing too rich. His body just couldn’t handle it yet. You didn’t know if he would ever be able to.
You entered the run-down old building and the smell of mould overpowered everything. With bags clutched in your arms, you pressed the button for your floor, which happened to be the one Arthur lived on too. After a long ride in the slow elevator (which somehow didn’t break down while you were riding it to your floor), the doors slowly opened to reveal the musty corridor.
Balancing the bags, you walked up to Arthur’s door and knocked softly. Within seconds the door was opened to reveal a shirtless Arthur Fleck. You fought the blush rising to your cheeks.
“Hey, Arthur,” you smiled. “Can I come in?”
He stared, some smoke escaping with his breath.
“Uh, yeah, sure.”
You shot him another quick grin and a thanks and scooted past him, making your way into his kitchen. You set the bags down on the bench and got to work putting the food away, oblivious to the astounded look on the mans face behind you.
You had just opened the fridge to put away the milk as Arthur’s voice cut through your thoughts.
“What are you doing?”
You paused and turned back to face him. “I bought you some food, and your medication is in the bag over there,” you pointed to the small pharmacy bag.
Arthur slowly turned and eyed the bag. His hand reached up to grab it and checked to see if the medication was in fact correct and what he needed. “H-how did you even know what I needed?”
This caused you to blush. “I was talking with your mother before she passed away. She may have mentioned the medication you’re taking...”
He sucked in a breath. You suddenly began to wonder if you had taken it too far. Maybe he didn’t need them anymore and you just got them for no reason. God, how could you be so silly?
Small giggles broke through your thoughts. Unintentional waves of pained laughter poured from Arthur. The sound forced it’s way out of his mouth and throat, leaving behind a man choking for breath. You made your way over to where he was standing and placed a comforting hand on his bony shoulder.
“It’s okay Arthur, let it out,” you smiled softly.
After a few more seconds of pained laughter, it slowly died down to inconvenient chuckles.
“Why w-would haha you do that haha f-for me?” The question nearly broke your heart. Did he not think he was deserving of some help?
“Well I figured you could use it, and I wanted to be a good neighbour and help you out. It’s what neighbours do, right?” A small smile punctuated the sentence.
“But why? I’m not exactly the deserving of...this,” he gestures at the food and shakes the bag in his hand.
You shake your head vehemently. “Don’t you say that. You are the most deserving person I know, Arthur. Trust me.”
“No, I can’t be. Why would I be? I’m me! Why wou-”
“Because I love you, Arthur,” you cut him off gently.
He paused and stared at you.
“I do, and it’s okay if you don’t feel the same way. You’re your own person, and I will never force you into anything you don’t want. I just want you to know that you’re the most deserving person I know, and I never want you to forget that, okay?”
Arthur stayed silent, and you took that as a sign of rejection. You were hurt, but you refrained from outwardly showing it in case it made him uncomfortable. You smiled softly and started to make your way to the door.
“Goodnight, Arthur,” your hand touched the cool metal of the door.
A small, insecure voice piped up from behind you. You turned and bathed in the view that was Arthur Fleck. The blue light that emitted from next to his fridge made is ribs stick out even more and made his cheeks sink and the cigarette between his lips was dangerously close to burning out, but he was still the most beautiful thing you’d ever seen.
“I love you too, Y/N.”
You both smiled at each other, and swiftly resumed putting the groceries in their rightful spot.
