Ghosting Tumblr

It's been really hard to reach anyone in Tumblr ever since I came back and started posting here as an artist. For some reason, even if I was doing fandom content/fanart, my posts don't seem to reach anyone, and I don't even get any likes in my post anymore. The algorithm/changes in Tumblr have been pretty discouraging, in my opinion. Along with the rumors that Tumblr is collborating with Midjourney, it was a good reminder for me to finally pull the plug on this site. I won't be deleting my account since I want to keep my 'brand name' so to speak, but i'll be sharing my art on other platforms that deserve more love. I recommend Pillowfort to anyone. I'll also be posting content on Youtube and Artfol.

ok so I've watched Izzyzz's video on DeviantArt's history and man, we need another site like that

one of the main reasons I came back to Tumblr is to actually search for communities of stuff I love and also ask blogs are hella fun

but I also wanna explore other alternatives SO I'll be trying these sites(list may grow as time passes):

For PeachBunni’s challenge:

Used the apps color palette and tried to make her head reminiscent of the app’s logo and icon. I gave her piercings to imitate the palette and overalls because I always found them nice for the typical artist aesthetic.

Octopuss

Woke up and saw this mf in another person's collection in artfol. It was for "studying lines and colours" aaaaaaaAAAAAAA

Dont know why this makes me so happy. I have never felt this way before, NEVER. I usually am not that attached to my art. I mean getting feedback nice but I've never felt happy or upset when someone says something about my drawings. Why do I feel so happy about this then? I don't even think this is good enough for anyone to study or take inspiration from. I mean, it's very low effort.

But dude. I'm so thankful. I feel idk good? It's positive emotion for sure.

I can't even think about anything else. The imagery of this in that person's collection thingy is just stuck in my head.
