The dramatic writer must understand and sympathise with all classes.
- Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
There are many reasons why Sherlocks Holmes is as famous as he is. But one of the overlooked things in the writings of Conan Doyle is empathy for people of whatever station in the tumultous times that Conan Doyle was living through.

Traveling home
my heart no longer feels as if it’s travelling here,
here became home
and there became a travel.

Art of Writing: No Excuses, Only Results!
Tumblr media
This year, you resolve to make your writing the best it can be. Here are eight tips to help you succeed:
💣Write the first draft as fast as you can. Get it out of your head and onto the page. Don't worry about making it perfect - just get it done.
💣Never publish the first draft. Rewriting may seem tedious, but it's essential for improving your work. Take the time to revise and edit your writing to make it the best it can be.
💣Show, don't tell. Instead of simply stating things as you see them, try to put yourself in the shoes of your audience and paint a picture for them. Use sensory language to help them experience what you're writing about.
💣Write to one person. Focus on connecting with just one reader at a time. Use the word "you" frequently to make it feel like you're speaking directly to them.
💣Spark joy. Write about something that brings you joy, and it will show in your work. If you hate writing, it will come through in your writing.
💣Read everything out loud. This is the best way to hear how your writing sounds and to catch any mistakes. Pay attention to your tone and make sure it reflects your voice.
💣Write every day. Building a daily writing habit will help you improve significantly over time. Even if you can only write a sentence or two, it's important to practice regularly.
💣Go analog once in a while. Consider writing by hand or using a typewriter to slow down the process and help you focus. This can help you produce higher-quality work.
By following these tips, you can become a better writer and achieve your writing goals in the new year.

Word of the Day……..
RESPECT
What is this amazing word that some people gain lots from living with it or some die losing so much from it?
It starts from just simple act of kindness to a brutal act of killing an innocent moment, but we gather it’s value from the first smile of a mother to a child till the last breath of a dying man.
Some try their entire life earning it but get caught in an anonymous scenario that lost their entire life long earned respect to ashes of dust no where to be found or left with any reason to be gained.
So for me RESPECT is to try to understand the meaning of every situation of that moment and be part of it to resolve it without getting anyone feel the presence of being humiliated.

What is it to die?
She asked the fates.
The fates smiled down at their prisoner.
Why ask such a question, dearest?
I want to know what happened to that girl I saw.
The fates share a quick glance, a few hushed words.
For most people, it is a relief.
She thought for a moment.
I wish I could've died with her.
The fates smile at this.
But, dearest.
They say.
You are destined to live here with us.
For how long?
For eternity.
She sighs, and restarts her task of picking up the fallen threads of the lives her fates are stitching together.
Each fallen thread is made of disappointment, of crushed dreams.
She weaves them into her own boring fate.

The Esotoracle Issue Eight!
I’ve been a long-time fan of The Esotoracle magazine. Published in the United Kingdom, it is a wealth of information on Tarot, different decks, ways to read oracle cards and anything under the sun having to do with spirituality and divination. I’ve loved diving into each issue and learning something more about myself and my journey with spirituality. I’m honoured to have an article that I wrote…

Biting my truant pen, beating myself for spite: "Fool!" said my muse to me, "look in thy heart, and write.”
Philip Sidney, Astrophel And Stella (1591)
The philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein wrestles with writer's block . And yet he remains undefeated. Writing about writer's block is better than not writing at all.

Loneliness and Solitude
Loneliness and solitude become intertwined these days.
as there is so much freedom to celebrate life
but how could I fully
if I cannot share some of them
with another person.
