u know what actually im just gonna say it, those posts that are like "if you can read x long fictional fandom thing you can read y long non fiction political commentary or dry long book or book about incredibly heavy and hard topics uwu" annoy the shit out of me. like i get the point theyre trying to make, but like. the insinuation that you can read this thing bc youre able to read this other VERY DIFFERENT thing in this like grating, condescending tone just pisses me off. not even touching on the fact that i know i personally struggle to even work up the executive function to read Fun Fictional Things i WANT to get into, its like...a Thing, im pretty sure, in ADHD that it is significantly Harder to focus on smth you are not actively interested in and sometimes obsessed with. like. i could tear through an entire book series im obsessed with in like 2 weeks but i would cry for hours every night trying to accomplish math homework that "should" take like 10 minutes, or finish a book that was assigned reading that you Hate and Cannot maintain focus on. Like, no, being able to focus on and finish one thing doesnt actually mean that you can accomplish the same with another Very Different Thing of the same length.
And like, thats not to say that we should Only ever read fun lighthearted fiction things and not have to focus on learning important info, about history and politics and systemic oppression, but like, can yall find a way to talk about it with condescendingly acting like engaging with these two things is exactly the same and that ppl who engage w the fun lighthearted accessible fiction thing are choosing the fun thing out of malice? like idk just recognize that it does require a different energy and state of mind to engage with that sort of thing.
#toy txt post#like i can hyperfocus on certain interests and push through the slog of material that isnt accessible to me as someone not in that field of#study Sometimes on Some Topics that i know other ppl Absolutely would not be able to do. but i can keep trying and ramming my brain against#it even tho i struggle to undersrand bc im mega interested in it like that time that i just fucking. read that paper on coral metabolisms#for fun. sometimes i can activate an interest in smth and hyperfocus my way through the inaccessibility of the text or even just the topic!#but i cant always do that. and i cant do that for every topic. and so sometimes trying to read smth. even if its very important! is just#like. nothing. nothing is entering my brain no matter how hard i mash my head against this wall. if i dont take my adhd meds honestly tryin#to force myself to focus in that way will just straight up give me a headache and make me go to sleep.#idk just the vibes i get from those posts...same energy as all the adults who yelled at me as a child for not trying hard enough to focus o#things that hurt and were hard vs me reading books under my desk. and i honestly didnt even get it that bad as a kid bc so many of my#interests at the time that i got obsessed with was BOOKS. if i had been like that about video games or movies or even comics i know damn#well that it would have been seen as me actively being like. manipulative when i said that i struggled to focus on homework but then turned#around and was able to focus on playing a video game for 12 hrs! and i know that def now bc i struggle to read books these days and instead#i watch tv or play video games which isnt as respectable.#and like im not saying that we should all let ourselves get fully lost in fun fiction media with no criticisms of it etc okay like i#i know thats not good for any of us and its not helpful and can lead to some Damaging Discourse but god damn. try not to sound so...#'shame on you for not being able to force your brain to focus on hard things when you can so easily get your brain to focus on fun things'#i do not control the focus!! and even when i do it is with GREAT EFFORT to focus on things that havent just. caught me#idk just recognize that it takes more effort. and that sometimes the reason ppl arent engaging w that but they are w fun light things is co#all their mental energy is being expended on other things. and the fun thing doesnt take much

This is actually considering that the new method needs the KingoRoot application on your Personal Computer as well as the actions are a bit difficult when as compared to the Framaroot application that functioned all right for our team on our Nokia X. This is actually based off of the application performed through Robert Broglia and includes a bunch of the same components, but that hasn't been upgraded due to the fact that 2013 as well as very likely will not be. The activity does sustain save states, components controllers, and also a really good compatibility cost which need to participate in very most, if not all, Video game Young boy and Game Boy Different colors activities. I would love to possess a contractors mission through which if any kind of home builder finished his work in late evenings or even the moment our company may not open the game to play, our experts could offer him his next job to be finished after the first on ends ... that may be in the building contractor's hut where like garrisons our company could picked just what to update ... That may actually be actually a reward for those players that find activities such as Telephone call from Responsibility: Afro-american Ops III much also difficult, and also as gamers get utilized to the auto mechanics and also maps this could turn into the creepier, more planned affair that Naughty Pet is accurately gunning for. I participated in Uncharted 4 during a weekend, as well as due to the opportunity I completed I believed that I was coming down from a 12-hour sugar thrill. a fantastic read noted that calcium mineral may boost blood stream levels from a protein connected with higher danger for heart disease. TEAM DANGANRONPA MADE A SHITTY TV SHOW AND HERE’S WHY
Spoilers for new danganronpa v3. If you haven’t played, just skip past this. @clowndictator
Side note: This is not all my evidence, just everything I can remember in my current state of rage. I’ll probably add more later
SO, in New Danganronpa V3, it’s revealed that the entire events of the game took place in a tv show and that all the characters had originally volunteered for the killing game before getting their memories and personalities replaced. This is shitty from a literary perspective for a number of reasons, sort of like “it was all a dream!” cliche, but I want to focus on the TV show itself.
Mainly how, in by today’s standards, it would have failed after it’s first season.
This is not so say that we wouldn’t watch a show full of teenagers literally killing each other. We would. If it were legal, that kind of show would probably become very popular. I mean from a technical standpoint, ndrv3 killing harmony would never be able to survive as a tv show.
During chapter 6, it is revealed that that trail was being broadcast live. There was no real confusion from what I read in the comments of the watchers, so it’s safe to assume that everyone there knew everything that had happened up to that point. That’s about two weeks of solid footage, so either A) there were episodes every day of each day’s events, or B) everything was live the entire time.
IF IT WAS NOT FILMED LIVE, then how did they sort through, retouch, and edit a day’s worth of film in so little time???? That’s at least 12 hours of film to go through, decide what’s important, and retouch/edit in what? An hour??? Less than that probably, since these “Events of the day” episodes would have to be aired THAT SAME DAY. NOT POSSIBLE. There is a reason why most tv shows only air 45 minute episodes once every two weeks.
IF IT WAS FILMED LIVE, are you telling me people just watched two weeks of footage everyday without it interfering with their jobs or school? Are these holidays or something? How is Danganronpa the most watched show if most of the events happen during school/work hours? Hell, what tv channel would even run a show that requires a 24 hr connection???
On a side note, it is impossible for only Trials to be broadcast. Most trials take hours at a time, usually all day. And even with Keebo being offline, fans still knew about the investigation that happened in chapter 6, even though it happened over the course of the entire night.
How exactly was it legal for all these kids to sign their lives away to TDR? THEY’RE KIDS??? They’d at least need parental permission for this kind of shit, but all we see are audition videos? This show is like 5 lawsuits waiting to happen.
Not only that, but if you replay the prologue after seeing the ending, you learn that those “auditions” were faked and that the kids were all kidnapped, which means everyone in TDR is going to jail.
The Minikumas. Those stupid little camera Monokumas flying around everywhere.
Okay, so, one of the world’s smallest cameras right now is 4.4mmx15mm, so it’s not impossible to have a camera too small for most to notice. But it’s also implied to move very fast, so any footage it obtains will be very limited and blurry.
It’s implied that these things follow everyone in swarms. Returning to the argument above, if DR isn’t live, than all of these minikumas just amp the amount of footage that Motherkuma receives. If DR is live, than how exactly is this formatted? In Trials, the viewpoint is probably from Keebo every time, but in Daily Life? Investigations? Does the screen just split into sections with each character at center? Do viewers choose who they want to follow on certain days? That makes no logical sense.
From what I can tell, a majority of tv shows make their money from ads and veiws. One of the highest grossing tv shows in america (Tropical Paradise) made about  $59,000,000 from 2007 to 2014. Using this as an estimate, that’s about 8.43 million dollars per year. Assuming Danganronpa the TV show makes more than this, say 10 million even per year, this does not seem to be enough to keep Danganronpa afloat.
Point 1: The dome. Even assuming the dome gets reused each season, it’s construction alone would be beyond that. We have no idea how big the dome is, since we never see the base, so there’s no way to calculate how big it is (without getting into timing steps, using those to calculate how big the school is, and then using screen shots of keebo’s rampage to estimate a diameter, but I don’t wanna do that).
Monokuma has been confirmed to be a very expensive, very complicated robot. And there’s a machine that builds more of them.
Keebo is also a very expensive, very complicated robot with a fully functioning AI. Even assuming that TDR developed him themselves, production cost would have been through the roof!
The Exisals.
The entire school and everything in the ultimate labs (remember, some of them were pretty damn amazing... and expensive looking)
The trial grounds.
Fucking wiping people’s minds!!!! And replacing their memories!! That kind of technology would take so much time and money to invent, I’m literally screaming!!!!
I’ve seen renovations on the home improvement channel that cost more than what this show could make in a year!! No! It is impossible!!
This is all the evidence I can think of right now, I’ll probably add to this later. But in conclusion, there is NO WAY that Danganronpa, as the TV show concept given to us in NDRV3, would ever work the way it’s presented in the game.

Please tell more about these children please, also omg so many, (like my uncles and Tías) you two gonna get lots of gran-kids.-☆~=
ASkafkshfkashksf I didn’t think anyone would be interested in my babies oh my gosh thank you?? And yes ten is a lot of kids I will admit,, really they first came to life when Remy (my big sibling) told me they had a dream about me and Wade and our small army of children. (in their dream their was a lot more than ten but damn i don’t think I could handle that.) Okay here we go, Dadpool and co.
I’m gonna name them all from oldest to youngest;
Katherine, (16)
Vincent, (12)
Daniel, (11)
Pietro and Wanda, (the twins) (guess who their named after) (9)
Logan, (9)
Peter, (7)
Abigail, (6 1/2)
Lucy, (5)
Natasha. (3)
You probably noticed some familiar names in there, that’s because; one, I am not creative and two, I am very close with other people in the universe and I wanted to name my kids after them okay.
Kathrine is the oldest and is a stubborn hothead, (Wade would say “just like you!’ and I would hit him. Even if it’s true.) she’s a bookworm and loves astrology and anything to do with space. But she also is very interesting in fighting and is always asking Wade to ‘show her some moves’. Surprisingly I was for this idea and Wade was against, as Katherine was our first child she was like glass to him, he didn’t want anything to happen to her and he didn’t want her to be anything like him. (aahhh that hurts to write.) He gives in and teaches her some ‘advance’ self defense. So my baby is booksmart and street smart. She likes to enter school competitions and go on excursions like any normal kid, but she also likes to study or learn some more fighting techniques instead of meeting or making freidns with people her age. Since i’m very close with the avengers and the X-men she always finds ways to hang out with them whenever she can. Wade is always a little worried about her hanging out with all these ‘heroes’ because he thinks Katherine will realize her Dad isn’t as great as she thinks he is and she’ll want one of them to ‘be her new Dad’ or whatever else his crazy mind comes up with. (He’s wrong, Katherine has every little tiny piece of Deadpool merchandise, talks about her ‘amazing, awesome’ dad on her blog and too people at school, is ready to fight anyone who bad mouths her Dad and she always gets him #1 Dad cups. Also on her HANDMADE birthday cards she always makes sure he knows he’s her hero.) (My baby girl is aware of her Dads ever growing doubt and is just a very self aware, genius, amazing girl and I love her.) She’s a daddy’s girl, if you couldn’t tell. She also loves her siblings, very much, she will fight anyone who dares upset them and she’s the one they all run to at school if they need help.
Vincent is the second eldest, he’s very calm and laid-back; he likes to help people and if he weren’t so popular i’m sure he’d be called a teacher’s pet. His kind and welcoming nature naturally draws people to him, he has a lot of friends and discourages them from being jerks and is basically like a mini messiah teaching other little kids to be nice. (he’s so sweet I love my baby.) Vincent is very much a momma’s boy, he helps me around the house, he goes with me everytime I go shopping, he’s always showing me his work and is the kid to see me walk into school and yell at his friends, “THAT’S MY MUM!” before rushing up to hug me. He’s very affectionate, he’s also very soft, he dabbles in sports but he really has a passion for music. His favourite genre is classical and Wade and I got him a violin for his tenth birthday. He was so happy he put on a little concert for us the next night, he’s not the fastest learner and there were messed up chords here and there but we gave him a standing ovation naturally. (with hard work and determination my baby can now play some amazing songs that I do not know the name of because classical isn’t really my thing, but i’m so proud of him.) Vincent, like Katherine, I svery protective of his siblings. He looks up to Katherine and is always looking for his big sisters approval, (which she give more often than not.) He sticks close with Daniel, Logan and Peter. He protects Daniel from bullies and causes mischief with Logan and Peter. Daniel is a very shy, quiet boy; he likes to be around books and just out of sight from people if he can. (He has social anxiety and has had two panic attacks, both in school.) He was the quietest when he was a baby, and most cooperative. Wade is always saying that Daniel is too quiet to be our kid, as we’re both very loud and brash individuals; but then again Wade always says these kids are too beautiful to be his. (my husband needs to stop being so hard on himself I swear that man,,) Daniel has told us that some other kids have bothered him once or twice, (Wade was pulling out his katanas and I was getting ready to tear some parents heads off, but Katherine and Vincent are somehow more grown up than their parents and calmed us both down.) I did nearly tear the principals head off though, Wade managed to find out who the kids were and they got suspended. (And the parents got the shit scared out of them by my amazingly intimidating husband, I love him so much.) Daniel is very interested in flowers and animals, he can name a lot of flowers off the top of his head and their meaning and has listed a lot of different butterflies, my children are geniuses what the heck. He’s very attached to Katherine and Vincent as they’re his big siblings and they have been there at time Wade and I weren’t able to be.  Logan teases Daniel a lot as Daniel sometimes has a stutter, we’re working on getting him not make fun of his brother but their little humans and they do what they will. Pietro and Wanda are my twin angels!! It’s very obvious who their named after, their both very polite and very playful. They do almost everything together but they do like to involve other people or their siblings in their games. They’re both very imaginative and while I am so proud of my babies beautiful minds it does make them slack off a bit in school, they can’t focus for very long in class and would rather doodle in their book or make up crazy game/story ideas. I had the exact same problems while I was in school so I suggested to Wade we get them check for adhd or something like that, Wade was iffy about it and said they were just kids being hyper, imaginative kids. (I honestly just want to go on about how Wade interacts with them all because he is so loving and understanding and patient and he just slows down so much when he’s with them, he wants them all to know he’s giving them his utmost attention and support and love and GOD I LOVE THIS MAN.) It turns out they do have adhd (I have adhd and so i’m basing theirs sort of on mine.) and it’s a pretty sever case of it, we’ve worked very hard on getting all our kids top notch education because we did not get the best and we want to give them what we never had. (but we don’t want to force them in an environment where they won’t learn or grow so instead we choose another route of alternative learning.) It’s not home schooling because neither Wade or I am fit to teach anyone anything, It’s a mixture of distance education and a group that is based more around active learning. (So they can focus easier because their doing stuff with their hands and being fully immersed into the learning process.) They like to create things, anything, they have a new hobby every day and never really stick to one thing. Wade and I love this about our children and we’re happy to go along with whatever they choose to do on that day. Wanda and Pietro love to dress Lucy and Natasha up and show them off to everyone because, “look at our cute younger siblings, look.”Logan is Wade, moving on. No, okay, but really, if Wade was a nine year old boy, he’d be Logan. Logan is a trouble maker, he has a heart of gold but he loves to cause trouble anywhere he can. Pranks are his thing. He loves chimichangas and Mexican food almost more than wade does, he loves video games more than anyone i’ve ever known. If Logan is playing video games, pulling a prank on his siblings, or eating, he is napping. With his Dad. On the couch. (*sigh* my boys, I love my boys.) Logan is constantly roping Peter into helping him with pranks, Peter just likes hanging out with his sibling and doesn’t mind whatever they’re doing. While Logan is a big mischief maker, he does truly have the biggest heart. He sneaks in stray/injured animals so he can take care of them (you know i’m buying random animal food and helping take care of that little baby too, Wade will definitely try to get me to keep them all.) He sits with his younger siblings if they’ve had a nightmare, he makes me and Wade #1 Coolest Mum and #1 Coolest Dad things, he’s always saying when he’s older he’s gonna change the world and fix so many problems. He donated his pocket money to a homeless shelter,, asfhlkshflhjf- my boy- (it was only like fifty bucks at the time but that’s still a lot of money tbh) He loves being with his dad and pretending to ‘fight’ him, Wade will obviously feign losing and Logan will revel in his victory. Logan likes to bake cakes with me even though he decorates them,,, creatively. (vvv messy,, but it’s always made with love and that’s what counts.)Peter, named after the one and only spider dude, is a little bundle of sunshine and I love him. He’s so positive, and sweet and always has something nice to say. He’s a tad clumsy and can trip over air but that’s okay because we’re always there to catch him. My poor baby gets sick very easily but he’s tough and always pulls through. (the first time Katherine got sick Wade burst into tears, he got so scared, she had the stomach bug and was throwing up a lot. Wade dotted on her hand and foot, didn’t let hr move and inch, he sang her to sleep and did not leave her side until she was better and talking about stars and galaxies again.) Wade is always very concerned with how easily Peter gets sick, but doesn’t show it. Peter is very optimistic and is always reassuring everyone he’s fine. He loves soccer, he’s a little champion. He’s also dubbed himself Natasha’s bodyguard, he’s always carrying her around and always boasting about how cute his little sister is. Peter is terrified of big bugs, especially spiders, but if there’s one near Natasha he is going to get a big plastic container and capture the threat, escort it outside and run back inside screaming at a very high pitch as it scurries the opposite direction.Abigail is my darling princess, and also a very big tsundere. (i’m assuming everyone knows what that means.) Her favourite name for Wade is “butthead”, she has many other creative names for everyone else but I just really love butthead, it’s really my favourite. (mostly because Wade just laughs at it and can never think of what to say to it.) (She’s a big Daddy’s girl but that means he gets a lot of the hitting and name calling and whatnot.) She’s really very sweet, she likes acting and has been in three plays now. She won’t tolerate bullying, she stands up for some of the kids that can’t stand up for themselves. But then she calls them dumb for listening to what the jerkheads were saying and it’s just a lot of mixed signals, she’s trying her best okay. She talks to me a lot, i’ve held her while she’s cried more times than i’d like, my baby just doesn’t know how to deal with her emotions very well but she’s trying so hard. (she’s six and a half and already having trouble, is this my fault, am I bad parents?) She has a select few friends, as not many of the sensitive children her age can deal with her small outbursts, but her friends are very lovely and understanding. (it’s mostly the people she stands up for that end up being friends with her, because my baby is an actual angel and wonderful company once she is comfortable with you.) She mainly hangs out with Lucy and they both follow Katherine around like little ducklings. Abigail and Logan,,, do not get along,,, at all,,, Logan my baby I know it’s easy to rile your sister up but could you not please. Lucy is a normal five year old, she likes to play in the mud, make flower crowns, pet dogs, doodle very abstract things on the walls. She is near sighted and needs glasses, (Katherine has glasses too, to help correct her lazy eye.) she loves playing dress up and being with her siblings. She has a speech impediment and so she can’t pronounce some words but luckily no one makes fun of her for it, Wade carries her around on his shoulders and calls her his little princess. We give her princess outfits, tiara and everything. Their all very pretty outfits which I spend a lot of time cleaning after her backyard adventures. (I love my babies and am willing to spend hours doing laundry if it means they’ll be happy.) Lucy is very bubbly and the literal light of our lives, she gets along with all her siblings as she is the second youngest and is just very lovable and sweet. (I feel like i’m biased, I love my children and just keep saying how great they are, oh well.) Did I mention she loves bugs. Because, she does. I love having worms, beatles, crickets and whatnot dropped on my dinign room table, I love it. (I don’t love it.) Also this is not so good when Peter is with her and she pulls out a tarantula like, “Peter look, isn’t he cute?” No lucy, please put him down. Please. (Wade is in charge of getting rid of the bugs, I don’t do bugs. I am very strict on him not just squishing them though, killing of any kind stays outside my house.) And last but not least my lil’ baby Natasha!! She is three and already has a huge personality, she is very bashful and sweet. She loves to give people flowers, and just listen to people. It took her a lot longer to talk than any of our other kids and we were worried she couldn’t talk, she can, she’s just very soft spoken and prefers to listen. She likes to finger paint, on the walls, the floor, the roof,,, everywhere,,, It’s okay though, cleaning is now my new favourite past time. (it’s not. Save me Wade’s to lazy to clean.) (okay that’s a lie he will help out but very rarely.) Natasha is often being carried around by her older siblings, or Wade, or me, she’s three and she’s adorable and we love her okay. She loves sweets, and strawberries. She loves to spend time with animals, and she’s learning how to use my phone already. (accidently selfies are her specialty.) (gah I love her, I love my baby.) This is very long, I could go on even more, I love my kids. Ah okay, thank you so much for asking about my babies I never get to talk about this stuff, I really love them all so much and Wade does too. I need to draw them all at some point, i’ve drawn Wanda and Pietro and Peter and Natasha. There is this sketchy picture I have of all of us but it’s really rough and i’ve changed their designs in my head since then so,, yeah. (and omg don’t even mention grandkids, Wade would blow the entire planet up before he let anyone near his babies; “Oh so you wanna date my daughter/son, huh?” He pulls out his katana and runs his hand down it, pretending to observe it, “Interesting.” He’s gonna scare the crap out of so many teenagers, rip.)

Being Alone, Cats, and Children: At Manhattan ACC waiting 4 LOVE CO 33393-3 year old, 43 lbs Cute, sweet, petite, gentle & loving Hasn't had the best life but we want to change that for this wonderful little girl TO BE KILLED 1/4/2018 I have been returned to the shelter due to landlord issues :( 12/22/18. Aurora is named COCO now! She is good with KIDS and other DOGS. STEALER OF ALL HEARTS <3 A volunteer writes: They say it's darkest before the dawn. Well my days are certainly now brighter. Thanks to a 3 year-old sprite, a bunny-eared girl in a cinnamon-cream coat, with bright green eyes like the Bahamian sea. Aurora is quick to greet me from her kennel, and right away she seems so out of place. Such a bright beam of light, like the sun kept quiet behind a cloud, but one who can't help but make all in her company feel warmer. She hops down to the ground and I notice a bit of a limp as she ambles along with me towards the door. And while the stairs give her delicate paws pause, she quickly bucks up and skips up them, all on her own. A pretty sailboat that will not be sunk. We don't know much about Aurora's past but, as with all new friends who transfix us in an instant, we can let our minds do their wondering. I run my fingers through her coat, snowy white underneath a layer of dust, rub her ears, one clipped like a stem missing its rose, and let my eyes count cuts and scrapes, note paw pads red and swollen, and I make my own assumptions. But whatever the past, it's not important. Not to Aurora anyway. For while I've been putting together puzzles, she's gently lowered her vanilla frame onto my lap and closed her eyes, resting her chin atop my feet. Aurora is a magical girl who can be a bit shy with strangers, so would do best with an experienced family who'll give her plenty of TLC and room to always shine. They say it's darkest before the dawn, well let today be that for Aurora. And with tomorrow's sun, the first day of forever, and a love that will fill up her lifetime. Aurora is waiting in adoptions at Manhattan ACC. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION:: ADULT ONLY HOME Behavior Asilomar: TM - Treatable-Manageable Recommendations:: No children (under 13) Potential challenges: : House soiling,Leash-biting,Kennel presence,Low threshold for arousal Potential challenges comments:: House soiling: Coco is noted to have accidents in the house, and will likely need guidance with house training. We recommend positive reinforcement, reward-based training only. Leash-biting: Coco is quick to grab the leash in his mouth. We recommend walking her with a toy to dissuade her from grabbing the leash. Positive reinforcement, force-free training is advised to teach her to focus on you rather than grabbing the leash. Kennel presence: Coco has at times been reactive in her kennel, jumping up high and snapping at hands that approach the kennel. She has not displayed this behavior outside of her kennel, but we cannot be certain if this behavior will appear in any other contexts. In highly emotionally charged or stressful environments Coco may show behavior similar to what she is currently demonstrating in her kennel. We recommend potential adopters be comfortable managing this behavior and keeping themselves safe in any similar future situations. Low threshold for arousal: Coco has displayed a low threshold for arousal, jumping up and grabbing clothing and people's hands, applying a moderate-hard level of pressure. Consultation with a qualified behaviorist/professional trainer is strongly recommended to aid in addressing this issue to prevent further behavioral concerns that may appear in the future if not treated right away. We recommend only force-free, reward based training when introducing or exposing Coco to new and unfamiliar situations. * TO FOSTER OR ADOPT * HOW TO RESERVE A “TO BE KILLED” DOG ONLINE (only for those who can get to the shelter IN PERSON to complete the adoption process, and only for the dogs on the list NOT marked New Hope Rescue Only). Anirudh RegidiAug 13, 2020 13:40:07 IST The thing with Xiaomi phones, especially the Redmi Note series, was that I could recommend them blindly. I never needed to think about specs, features, and most importantly: value for money. The phones were always good, always would be, but not anymore. Whatever else you might say about the two phones, you have to admit, they look really good. Image: Anirudh Regidi With the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max, things have changed To look at, these phones are basically identical. They differ only in the camera department and bundled accessories (the charger). Side-by-side, whether face-up or face-down, you won’t be able to tell them apart. But it’s not just looks; the specs, and by extension, the performance, is identical. They’re also gorgeous phones, and if I didn’t know any better, I’d guesstimate their prices at about 30k, perhaps higher. The phones both feature 6.67-inch FHD+ 60 Hz LCD displays paired with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, 4/6/8 GB RAM, 64/128 GB of storage, 5,020 mAh battery, and quad-camera bumps on the rear — which share the 8 MP ultra-wide camera, 5 MP macro camera, and 2 MP depth sensor. You can’t tell the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max apart. Image: Anirudh Regidi Now for the differences: The Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with a 48 MP primary rear camera (binned to 12 MP) vs the 64 MP unit (binned to 16 MP) on the pro Max. You get 4/6 GB RAM options on the Pro, and 6/8 GB options on the Pro Max. Lastly, the Pro gets a pretty decent 18 W bundled charger and the Max gets a more powerful 33 W charger. Pricing for the Pro starts at Rs 13,999 (4/64), and for the Max at Rs 16,499 (6/64). On paper, they’re both excellent value, and the Pro looks like a steal. What’s a few megapixels here or there? And you don’t actually need a damaging-in-the-long-run 33 W charger, do you? Well, yes, but also no. The Redmis looks good, but… … looks aren’t everything. Performance is a sore point on both phones. Now Xiaomi told me that it opted for the 60 Hz display and more efficient SD720G chipset (vs the 90 Hz display and MediaTek G90T SoC on the competing Realme 6) because: Battery life mattered to its users The SD720G isn’t capable of 90 Hz gaming anyway. They’re both good arguments, and Xiaomi isn’t wrong. However, once you use the Realme 6 (Review), and especially play games on it — heavier games like PUBG, Dead Trigger 2, etc. — you can really feel the difference. Even in general usage, the Pro and Pro Max tend to stutter visibly, especially when browsing and using the picture-in-picture video modes. And the Realme 6, while it does have a smaller battery (4,300 mAh), faster display, and more power-hungry SoC, does last nearly a whole day (7–8 hrs of screen-on time vs 8–10 on the Pro Max), so the gains in battery life are not that significant in real-world usage. If you care about cameras… … don’t buy the Note 9 Pro, but do pick up the Pro Max. The Redmi Note 9 Pro’s camera setup was disappointing. The primary camera is good in good light, really good, in fact. However, let the light drop slightly or attempt to take pics indoors and you’ll be left with — more often than not — blurry, out-of-focus shots, which can also be poorly exposed. I suspect this has a more to do with low shutter speed and ISO sensitivity, but whatever the case, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max’s cameras are just better. The quad-camera setup on the rear of the phones is good, but the Max’s 64 MP primary camera is leagues ahead of the Pro’s 48 MP unit. Image: Anirudh Regidi The Pro Max, on the other hand, was fantastic. Images are sharp and clear and there’s more than enough detail for those who want to do a bit of cropping. Shutter speeds also appear faster and there’s less ghosting when attempting to capture fast-moving subjects. In night mode, the difference between the two phones is night and day. Literally. The Note 9 Pro’s night mode offers marginally more detail than in regular mode, while the Note 9 Pro Max’s night mode is almost comparable to the iPhone 11’s night mode, at least in terms of colour and exposure. Click here to see Redmi Note 9 Pro camera samples:  In video, too, the Note 9 Pro Max is leagues ahead. Both cameras struggle a bit with focus, but the Note 9 Pro couldn’t expose a scene correctly to save its life. In the bird-feeder video seen here, the Note 9 Pro just can’t maintain exposure while the Note 9 Pro Max does it easily. When it comes to selfies, both cameras are good enough. The 32 MP Pro Max selfies are a bit sharper, but image quality is largely comparable. The 8 MP ultra-wide and 5 MP macro on both phones work as advertised. They’re not great, but you have the option to use them if the need arises. Click here to see Redmi Note 9 Pro Max camera samples: Verdict: Only the Max is worth buying. With the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max, Xiaomi has really outdone itself in the design department, I just wish it had pushed a bit more on the performance front. The Redmi Note 9 Pro, while a great phone, is in that awkward position where it’s just a little bit cheaper than its far more capable sibling, and not as good value as its nearest rival, the Realme 6. As far as I’m concerned, if you’re looking for a phone around 15k, the choice is simple: If you care about cameras, get the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. If you care about gaming, get the Realme 6. If you’re a Xiaomi fan and just cannot spend a Rupee over 14k, I’d still recommend saving up for a bit longer and getting the Pro Max. Find latest and upcoming tech gadgets online on Tech2 Gadgets. Must-Have Business Tools and Resources to Grow Your Startup Online
Startups are everywhere on the internet today. It doesn’t matter if your expertise, service, or focus is on technology, business, social media, content creation or even applications — this space is extremely saturated! Everyone has ideas, but only those who know how to implement them and turn their efforts into actions will see real results. Just like it’s easy for anyone to start a website or blog, it’s not so easy to get real traffic and make money. The same is true for starting any type of business online. It’s all fun and games in the beginning, as you are likely starting from zero… but how long can this immediate growth last? Rapid startup growth is a common goal for many business owners, but it’s one that is tricky to achieve. You need the right marketing tactics, customer support and operational infrastructure — and you need the resources to sustain it all until the sales start rolling in. This is where the opportunity of running an internet-based business really comes into play. So, what’s the secret to scaling up with speed? Members of Young Entrepreneur Council share their best growth hacks for businesses looking to expand quickly. 1. Create Your Brand Start creating your brand as quickly as possible. Your brand is an important asset for a startup. People need to know what you do and why you do it in order to use your product or service. The faster people know your brand, the faster you will be able to scale up your business. – Samuel Thimothy, OneIMS – Integrated Marketing Solutions 2. Learn How to Delegate The fastest way to scale is to optimize your time. Start with the things that are taking up the majority of your time and find someone to manage them. Hire, outsource or create daily efficiencies, and scaling will feel easier than it should. – Corey Eulas, Factorial Digital 3. Focus on Your Processes Experiencing rapid growth can be a good or a bad thing, depending on how prepared you are. We experienced and are experiencing this growth currently, and it helped expose areas of improvement in our processes. If your processes are broken and you grow fast, it will only emphasize those weaknesses. If you focus on shoring up processes first, you’ll be prepared for fast growth. – Joel Mathew, Fortress Consulting Group 4. Draw Attention to Your Brand and Product Ride on your competition’s research through SEO and advertising. Use Quora as a platform to answer questions related to your product. You will get immediate traffic. Use video marketing on LinkedIn to draw attention and increase followers. – Trish Agarwal, V Synergize Global Solutions LLC 5. Keep Reminding Your Audience About Your Brand You have to get out there and get your name out. The more people you know who keep seeing what you do, the more they will think of you when they need what you do or know someone who you can help. This is a big reason why people buy from top brands — their marketing is all over the place reminding you. – Jacqueline Marrano, Marrano Solutions, LLC. 6. Grow Your Team The rate-limiting factor of growth of any organization is leadership. Entrepreneurs need to scale themselves as well as their teams. When the team is more effective and growing, the business will automatically grow to greater and greater scale. Nothing matters more than human capital. – Eric Mathews, Start Co. 7. Don’t Be Afraid to Accept Help If you insist on rapid growth, you’re going to need help. And once you get that help, you are going to need to trust their abilities. Too many entrepreneurs think they can do it all and they end up exhausting themselves/failing. Let those around you help you. – Adrien Schmidt, OpenBouquet 8. Put the Customer First, No Matter What The bigger your business, the greater the need for a solid customer support infrastructure. Prioritize customer communication early on. Each interaction is an opportunity to showcase your brand’s voice and values. Cultivating loyalty and customer satisfaction is a result of having the right solutions and experts to guide your customer service strategy. – Eng Tan, Simplr 9. Know Your Sales Funnel Sustainable, fast growth requires every part of the acquisition funnel to be in top shape. This will look different for every business, but it’s always important to pinpoint exactly what isn’t working, whether that’s acquiring leads, converting them or upselling them. – Jacob Drucker, Supply Clinic 10. Learn How to Get the Right Traffic You’re great at what you do, your service is wonderful and your prices are well worth the value you provide. The only thing is, nobody knows you and they can’t find you. If you know how to generate foot traffic or web traffic at a good cost, you’ll be able to scale up quickly. Find the right help, or roll up your sleeves and figure out how to do this for your industry. – Jared Weitz, United Capital Source Inc. 11. Build a Strong HR Team Most entrepreneurs do not pay enough attention to HR. To scale up quickly, you need to rely on people. You can’t do everything yourself and let your department heads rely on you in order to move forward. HR comes into play and lets you hire people that you can rely on. – Michael Hsu, DeepSky 12. Aggressively Network My advice to startups looking for quick growth is to get the word out about their business or service by any means necessary. Spending a lot of money on marketing and promotion may not be possible in the early stages, but one of the cheapest and most effective methods of doing so is to connect with other professionals. Foster healthy relationships with professional peers. – Bryce Welker, Crush The LSAT 13. Focus on SEO SEO is still one of the most effective growth strategies, but it’s hard for founders to execute because it requires content development and the ability to build systems and processes effectively. Double down on content and guest blogging to get backlinks. Stick to it for a couple months targeting niche keywords and you’ll see exponential growth. Most give up too early, but it requires time. – Matthew Capala, Alphametic 14. Make Time for Strategic Planning Every year, I make a vision board of what I want in my life. Then, I break it down to the top three goals that I feel I must accomplish for growth. Furthermore, I break it down into weekly actions and daily activities. Once a week, I outline my priorities for that week. I analyze what last week’s activities were, and if I find that I was off track or started another project, I cut it. – Klyn Elsbury, Landmark Makers 15. Get to Market Quickly With Your MVP It’s critical you get to market as fast as possible to test your assumptions. The concept of the minimum viable product (MVP) is the fastest way to support rapid scaling. It allows you to quickly test your assumptions, iterate your product and accelerate the never-ending work of building a product that remains a must-have to your target consumers. – Eyal Ronen, Puls 16. Create Value Nothing ethical and good is done without creating real and meaningful value for another business. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you a bottle of Uncle Tom’s magical formula. Focus on value and how to make that something that can be shared and promoted. – Nicole Munoz, Start Ranking Now 17. Proceed With Caution Scale up based on demand, not just because you want to. If you scale up too quickly, you run the risk of overextending your resources and potentially losing your company. Concentrate on the quality of your product and look long term. If what you provide is really worthy of massive growth right away, the market will dictate that naturally and you won’t have to force it. – Justin Lefkovitch, Mirrored Media How to Start Your Startup in the Right Direction Having read through each of the actionable and expert tips above, you likely already have some good ideas for launching or improving your startup. With all of this in mind, it’s important to take advatage of the many benefits the internet has to offer — especially in terms of connections and online tools. Take some time to run through our list of recommended business tools and resources, and if you are currently having a hard time with raising the necessary funds for your business, this is also a great resource. No matter what direction or method you take, just be sure to take action daily and always progressing in the right direction. https://internetservice-nileski.com/general-marketing/2018/07/28/must-have-business-tools-and-resources-to-grow-your-startup-online-9/

Asset Management: Together in the Dark Team Postmortem

Together in the Dark Hunter Tutorial Video
Together in the Dark Survivor Tutorial Video

Tumblr media
Above: Player Select Screen with the check for the proper amount of Hunters and Survivors
Tumblr media
Above: Hunter Ping Ability
Tumblr media
Above: Three Survivors Split-Screen
Pros
1. The addition of Level 2 this month added variety to our game. This new level is larger than Level 1. The layout allows for more options for both the Hunter and the Survivors. Level 2, when playtested alongside Level 1, allowed for our team to start balancing the game. We were able to figure out the ideal size and time restraints for an ideal gameplay. The larger, more elaborate design allows survivors more opportunities to hide in interesting places. Hunters also had more emergent gameplay strategies when tracking down survivors. For example, when a Survivor would place a trap in one of the courtyard doorways the second Hunter would go around and flank that Survivor.
2. Hunters chasing Survivors results in a fun, frantic gameplay. The Survivor player experiences fear and suspense in attempting to evade the Hunter. The Hunter experiences a power trip where they want to chase down the Survivors. If they are able to catch a Survivor, there is a sense of exultation. The converted player may be frustrated at being caught, but they transition into the Hunter state-of-mind. Soon, they are experiencing similar moments. With the core gameplay aimed at a hide and seek style game, we believe that we nailed our goals for player engagement and mood.
3. The team maintained a clear direction of the intended goal (or end product) and was always willing to compromise. There are several instances where there were intended features to add into the game yet due to time restraints we had to focus on the vertical slice. For example, there were plans to allow the game to be played on a network. This was something we tried to tackle in the first month of development but was later pushed to this month. After about three more weeks of work on trying to incorporate networking, we realized that the vertical slice we did have working was just fine and we compromised as to settling with the working version of the split-screen. Another example is the pause functionality. Because we were going to have the game networked, we wanted every player to be able to pause the game. Due to the removal of networking and the challenges that pausing caused with the split screen setup, we stayed focused and only allowed for the player with the first controller to pause the game. We did add more PFI to the other players when the game was paused.
Cons
1. Due to our increase in resources, we decided to implement two new levels this month (level 2 and level 3). However, due to extenuating circumstances, one member who was solely responsible for creating level 3 was unable to complete the level. This has shown us to not put only one person in command of a task and to have a secondary (and possibly tertiary) resource dedicated to the task who can step up and take over if needed.
2. Allow ample amount of time and resources to implement networking. Especially if the project is continuing forward without a feature. The networking was a problem from the start, that once we got it to a point that we could actually implement it, it was already too late. The first problem was integrating our already tight knitted player controller into the network API. This caused an issue where the player couldn’t move when converting the player controller to one that handles UNET’s code. We then decided to find a plugin that could handle the network for us. We found that Photon 2 was the best option and proceeded to re-create the player controller to only use the plugins API. However, it was too late to fully implement it. Thus we decided to cut networking out completely.
3. Together in the Dark had many moving, complex pieces. Issues occurred when trying to get these items to work together. Networking between machines and swapping screens between machines took longer than expected and forced delays or certain items to be cut because of the complexity of the issues. Going in the team knew this was going to be a big risk and still decided to push forward on it. More steps should be taken if risks are going to be pushed forward so that if problems do arise they can be mitigated at best as possible. This will help the team be able to better manage tasks and hours and ensure that all milestones are completed on time.
Process
1. Throughout the two-month development cycle of Together in the Dark, we have dedicated over 250 man hours to networking. All of those hours are now unseen in the product. These hours could be spent on possibly implementing some of the other 100 features that we had brainstormed for this game. The good thing that came out of this was that there is a lot more knowledge on networking gained by two individuals on the team. However, this is information that not the whole team shared and can be considered wasted time.
2. In response to the networking features not being integrated into the game, we decided to implement a dual monitor, split screen system. This system allowed us to keep the needed suspense of not allowing the Hunters and Survivors to see the screen of their opponents. While the system did maintain this suspense, it was a very large and complex feature to tackle. Originally the system was set up with a default gameplay loop. Player one always starting out as the Hunter and the rest of the players starting out as Survivors. As we added rounds and player selection to the game, the dual monitor, split screen system had to adapt. The player who started out as the Hunter needed to be able to adjust in real time as scores and other UI elements updated values and positions on the screen. Making sure this system could handle a wide variety of setups became the major focus of this feature. Unfortunately, that focus did not leave much time for polish. The system as it is now can be jarring to the player when transitioning from Survivor to Hunter and when the split screen layouts adjust. The feature could use some fine-tuning and player feedback to get it to a point that is less intrusive to the players.
3. The team at the beginning of the month struggled with grasping the full concept of the amount of work that would need to be completed in the administration side of the project. Most of the focus of the team was spent on new additions to the game and not preparing all the essential paperwork that was required for the month. The focus was also not added to ensure that all tasks were completed when they were supposed to be updated on the necessary paperwork. To rectify this the team decided to dedicate a meeting to get all the paperwork up to where it needed to be and then during our normal Monday meetings splitting the team into two for the purpose of having dedicated members ensure all paperwork was up to date before the turn in the next day. This helped us get a better grasp of what all entails on the administration side of making a game, and that a proper task list can let us see what is supposed to be worked on and if personnel actually accomplished. This also allows us to see who of the team is taking on too many tasks so they can be watched to make sure they are not overworking themselves. The same can be said for those that are not performing up to their requirements they can be checked to find if they have too many tasks at hand or if the estimates are correct for the task they were asked to complete.

Data Analysis:
Based on our documentation our team had an average of 2.46 hours of work per day, while some days the work hours decreased or increased depending on availability. We found our least productive days fell early in the week. Our most productive days tended to fall on the weekend before a milestone was due. Another trend was seen in the most and least utilized resources. In milestones one, two and three the least utilized resource for each milestone ended up becoming the most utilized resource in the following week’s milestone. Finally, our data show that we worked on average 19.25 hours of overtime per milestone.
The team met multiple times a week both virtually and in person. Virtual meetings took place over Discord. The primary goal of these meetings was to give updates throughout the week on our assigned tasks. Our in-person meetups were held in Blackmoor Studios. These meetings focused on getting our administrative documents in order while also finalizing the milestone’s build.

Pros
Hunters chasing Survivors results in fun, frantic gameplay.
Cons
Due to our increase in resources, we decided to implement two new levels this month (level 2 and level 3). However, due to extenuating circumstances, one member who was solely responsible for creating level 3 was unable to complete the level. This has shown us to not put only one person in command of a task and to have a secondary (and possibly tertiary) resource dedicated to the task who can step up and take over if needed.
Process
Throughout the two-month development cycle of Together in the Dark, we have dedicated over 250 man hours to networking. All of those hours are now unseen in the product. These hours could be spent on possibly implementing some of the other 100 features that we had brainstormed for this game. The good thing that came out of this was that there is a lot more knowledge on networking gained by two individuals on the team. However, this is information that not the whole team shared and can be considered wasted time.
The team at the beginning of the month struggled with grasping the full concept of the amount of work that would need to be completed in the administration side of the project. Most of the focus from the team was spent on new additions to the game and not preparing all the essential paperwork that was required for the month. Focus was also not added to ensure that all tasks were completed when they were supposed to be and updated on the necessary paperwork. To rectify this the team decided to dedicate a meeting to getting all the paperwork up to where it needed to be and then during our normal monday meetings splitting the team into two for the purpose of having dedicated members ensure all paperwork was up to date before the turn-in the next day. This helped us get a better grasp of what all entails on the administration side of making a game, and that a proper task list can let us see what is supposed to be worked on and if personnel actually accomplished. This also allows us to see who of the team is taking on too many tasks so they can be watched to make sure they are not overworking themselves. The same can be said for those that are not performing up to their requirements they can be checked to find if they have to many tasks at hand or if the estimates are correct for the task they were asked to complete.

Thompson, Riley Individual Postmortem.
This month in asset management, we focused on getting everything done that we did not have time to implement by the end of the first month. This meant adding in traps and, more animations, and full player models. We also added in a new level that allowed us to fully test the game and start balancing. We had several things that went well and several that did not.
To start, I will talk about what went well. Our team had a very good ability to recover from mistakes or failures amongst the team. We constantly were improving both in the project and as a team. We had several individuals go above and beyond the minimum and I think it really helped to create a viable product. We also were able to maintain a clear vision through the development and I feel that that really helped.
The parts that didn’t work were that we had some team members who were mostly absent for the duration of the month. When we had tasked those individuals with important tasks and they did not deliver, it derailed the product.  We recovered well, and we moved forward and to make the product that you see today. We also had several schedule conflicts and that made working together hard but again we recovered well and moved forward to make the game you see today.

Being Alone, Andrew Bogut, and Cats: At Manhattan ACC waiting 4 LOVE CO 33393-3 year old, 43 lbs Cute, sweet, petite, gentle & loving Hasn't had the best life but we want to change that for this wonderful little girl **** TO BE KILLED - 1/3/2019 **** I have been returned to the shelter due to landlord issues :( 12/22/18. Stunning phones, but Xiaomi should have pushed harder on the performance front- Technology News, Firstpost
Anirudh RegidiAug 13, 2020 13:40:07 IST
The thing with Xiaomi phones, especially the Redmi Note series, was that I could recommend them blindly. I never needed to think about specs, features, and most importantly: value for money. The phones were always good, always would be, but not anymore.
Whatever else you might say about the two phones, you have to admit, they look really good. Image: Anirudh Regidi
With the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max, things have changed
To look at, these phones are basically identical.
Image: Anirudh Regidi
Now for the differences: The Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with a 48 MP primary rear camera (binned to 12 MP) vs the 64 MP unit (binned to 16 MP) on the pro Max.
The Redmis looks good, but…
… looks aren’t everything.
Performance is a sore point on both phones. Now Xiaomi told me that it opted for the 60 Hz display and more efficient SD720G chipset (vs the 90 Hz display and MediaTek G90T SoC on the competing Realme 6) because:
Battery life mattered to its users
The SD720G isn’t capable of 90 Hz gaming anyway.
If you care about cameras…
… don’t buy the Note 9 Pro, but do pick up the Pro Max.
Image: Anirudh Regidi
The Pro Max, on the other hand, was fantastic.
Click here to see Redmi Note 9 Pro camera samples:
In video, too, the Note 9 Pro Max is leagues ahead.
Click here to see Redmi Note 9 Pro Max camera samples:
Verdict: Only the Max is worth buying.
As far as I’m concerned, if you’re looking for a phone around 15k, the choice is simple:
If you care about cameras, get the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.
If you care about gaming, get the Realme 6.
If you’re a Xiaomi fan and just cannot spend a Rupee over 14k, I’d still recommend saving up for a bit longer and getting the Pro Max.
