I think what makes Princess Zelda such a strong character is her ability to maintain her dignity in the face of adversity. Since she was a young child, she spent hours in prayer every day. She was given no guidance and often forced to endure extreme conditions, all for the sake of Hyrule. When Zelda’s power failed to manifest, she pursued her own means of aiding her kingdom. Still, when the king repeated the slanderous rumors about her and ordered her to stop, she was able to bow her head and accept her fate.

It’s worth noting that Zelda’s power is the ability to seal evil. She can’t enter the Sheikah Shrines or even wield the bow of light. Instead, she learns to accept that her role is passive, and she endures her pain until the hero is ready to fight on her behalf. What’s impressive about Zelda is that, although she occasionally complains to Link, she is ultimately able to rise to her duty with grace and composure.

Silencing your voice and repressing your emotions in order to be acceptable in the eyes of all the people watching you is a totally normal and healthy thing for a teenage girl to do, as I’m sure we all agree.

Therefore, when the ruins of Hyrule Castle are covered in oozing goo that wells up from underground and giant eyes that constantly watch Link, this is totally The Calamity and definitely not the manifestation of Zelda’s own repressed rage and frustration as expressed through the medium of Ganon.

yall ever think about the power structure of the brothers? i want to talk about mammon specifically because im Thinking. it's canon that their order from oldest to youngest is not based on actual age but on power (which is why satan is the fourth oldest even though he was born after the fall). this doesn't explain the dynamic mammon has with his brothers because you can see that everyone is terrified of lucifer but mammon, the second born is treated very casually is frequently treated like a joke.

it's making me think, is there something that triggers him to uhhh... show how he's the second oldest? protecting mc is the obvious answer, but like what did the demon king see to name him the second born and therefore second oldest?

Yesterday, I was so bitter and defeated and tired after being forgotten/ignored yet again professionally (audiobook narrator straight up forgot me) and then seeing a lot of smaller authors I've followed for a while bonding and chatting and supporting each other. And I was like, why do I follow them and rt or like or reblog their posts etc and meanwhile I'm that author some other authors will only speak to anonymously, like I have weird cooties or something and can't be associated with in public, and am somehow always out of the networking loop or the last to hear about a con or a charity thing. I used to think that was just because I was so small beans (which I am, don't get me wrong) but it's starting to feel a little deliberate now. So I was like, fuck this. I understand the bigger names ignoring me (or just not knowing who I am. Why would they?) but the smaller ones who go on and on and on in their posts about supporting the indies? I am tired of it and I'm not going out of my way to be nice anymore!
