Here are two of my most recent drawings. I'm continuing to make highly colorful pieces, but for these I wanted to try working in a relatively monochromatic mode. The first was done using colored pencils and pens, while the other was just one colored pencil. It's been interesting to do these and see the resurgence of some mark-making and the application of negative space I mostly haven't used since doing large-scale landscape drawings in grad school.

Tip walking through Inexact Verdict City!
it took me so long, but I'm pretty proud. It's my first time drawing like full rendered background and some perspective. I know I fucked up a bit, but I'll make sure to improve in future !
A bit of context from Tip lore:
This is after Tip had an argument with his sister which resulted in her running away. He felt really bad and decided to go after her, because he knew she'll try doing something stupid. He's walking through the city cautiously looking for her, but he's close to the city karma gate leading to the outside... Which results in him leaving his iterator can and searching for her outside.
