Scary Day
Aragorn
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After the war and all the fighting because of the dark lord, peace has finally graced Middle-earth. While everyone was enjoying themselves, there were still the problems of the remaining Orcs and uki-hai wondering middle-earth. That did not stop Aragorn and Arwen from having a son fourteen years after a little girl. A month after their son's birthday, they were blessed with a little girl, and they could not have been happier.
Four years later.
While Aragorn was teaching his son, Aaron, more techniques with a sword, Arwen was looking after their little girl, who had gotten lost in the castle once again. So as she was looking for her, she deemed it right to tell Aragorn and Aaron about it, well she told everyone in the castle that she was lost and if anyone saw her and they were to take her to either herself or Aragorn.
As they were searching the castle, they didn't think to look in the royal garden where all the beautiful flowers and breathtakingly tall trees. While the little princess was sitting in the gardens minding her own business and playing with the flowers, she didn't notice the things behind her.
Aragorn, Arwen and Aaron were looking all over the castle until Aaron said about the royal gardens and she could be there. When they arrived, they saw her playing with the flowers, but the shadow in the trees didn't go unnoticed by Aragorn.
"Y/n came here, please." He called to his little girl.
She looked to see her father, and the biggest grin found its way onto her face as she stood up and ran to her father, kneeling to hug her. He stood straight once again when her arms were around his neck, and his arm wrapped around her to stop her from falling. They began to go inside until Aragorn heard a string being pulled back. He put y/n down, who looked like she was about to cry, but when she looked up to him, reeling her pointy ears that she got from Arwen, she, too, heard the strings of bows being pulled back. Arwen had already got her in her arms and ran inside, closely followed by Aaron and Aragorn. Once inside, Aragorn began to give orders, and Arwen held y/n close. After everyone got into place, they made their way outside like nothing was happening, but when Orc began to fall to the ground, dead, they also began to help.
When everything had stopped, Aragorn looked to see elves standing there and at the front was a smiling Legolas. As he was about to say something, Aragorn heard people screaming and made his way back inside the castle to see an Orc with a scared little girl with h/c hair and watery e/c eyes was being held with a dagger to her throat. Instead of saying anything, he made his way up to the Orc and was about to cut his head off when he brought the dagger closer to y/n's neck. While he was having a staring contest with the Orc, Legolas made his way behind the Orc and grabbed his arm that had the dagger in and pulled it away from her neck, and the arm that was holding her was also pulled out. She dropped to the floor and crawled out from the Orc and towards her father. He scooped her up and hid her face in his neck as Legolas killed the Orc, and a guard dragged him outside to be burned alongside the other Orcs. When Aragorn moved to look at y/n's face, she did not move her face as she had her legs and arms tightly wrapped around him as she was crying softly. Arwen made her way over to them and hugged them both, and pulled Aaron in too.
A week later and the four-year-old still hadn't left the side of her mother, brother and mostly her father, and they did not mind because they knew where she was. Legolas was still in the kingdom, and she had already thanked him for saving her. One day Aragorn was looking over the city when a sudden happy giggle filled his ears and when he turned around, he saw little y/n being tickled by Aaron, who were both by the door, and y/n was in her brother's arms.
"Brother! Brother! Stop! Stop!" She cried in between giggles and laughter from Aaron.
"Never! For I'm going to keep my little sister all to myself." Aaron called as he stopped for a second and that was enough time for her to escape his grip and run into the room their father was in.
"Ada! Ada! Help me!" She called as she made pick-me-uppy hands as she ran towards him.
He didn't hesitate to pull her up when she got into arm's distance and swing her around, then bring her into a nice warm hug and kiss her forehead. He looked down at her to be greeted by a big grin on her face.
"So, sweetie, will you tell me what you have been up to with your brother?" He asked, and all she did was look towards Aaron with her head tilted to the side with a face debating whether to tell him or not.
"Well, when I had archery lessons with Uncle Legolas, she decided to have a go, with the help of uncle Legolas, of course. Then we played together and had something to eat. I read to her, and she played with nana for a while until I started to chase her and tickle her. She came to you." Aaron explained as he looked at y/n with brotherly love in his eyes and a bond that won't be easily broke.
When he looked down at her, she gripped his tunic, and he had a protective arm wrapped around her. He sat down and began to rock her backwards and forwards as she fell asleep in his arms, then Arwen came in with a blanket and when she saw Aragorn cradling y/n and talking quietly to Aaron as well she had a smile on her face and made her way over to them.
"It seems she beat me to it." Arwen said after placing the blanket onto her sleeping daughter.
"Nap Time?" Both Aragorn and Aaron asked at the same time.
She nodded then went to take her but was told otherwise by Aragorn who was enjoying holding his little princess like that, in his arms.
The end.

Mistletoe Kisses 🎄
Pairing: Legolas x f!reader
A/N: 1. I’ll be using the word ‘Yule’ in this fic, rather than Christmas due to it being in Middle-earth. 2. It’s only vaguely mentioned, but I imagine the reader as being from Edoras & getting to know the others both on the way to Helm’s Deep and through Eowyn. 3. Merry Christmas!
Genre: Fluff, Christmas Romance
Description: During a Yule celebration at Minas Tirith you introduce Legolas to mistletoe.
Warnings: None
Word count: 1092
Tumblr media
Yule had always been a celebration you looked forward to since you were a young child, the festives never failing to bring you joy. There was just something about the tinkling of bells and flakes of now in your hair that brought a smile to your face.
And now, in the aftermath of the War of the Ring, such a celebration was exactly what you needed. As the days turned colder and light dustings of snow began to fall, the mood in Minas Tirith only grew better.
By the night of the celebration, the city, particularly the large room in which the main celebration was held, was nothing short of festive.
When you excused yourself from your friends for a moment long after darkness had fallen outside you made your way towards an archway leading to a somewhat secluded balcony, a smile still etched across your face from laughing with your friends at jokes you couldn’t even remember while you watched Eowyn and Farimir glide around the dance floor not far from Arwen and Aragorn.
That was one good thing that had come from the War - your friendships with people you never would have given second thought to before.
You ducked through the archway, dodging the plant that hung from the top and made your way to the balcony bannister where you closed your eyes as you breathed in the fresh air, the music and chatter from inside drifting through the entryway.
To your credit, you only jumped slightly when a voice spoke beside you. “The hobbits are very loud, aren’t they?”
You opened your eyes, turning to see Legolas beside you, and you couldn’t stop the jump of your heart at his close proximity as he stood beside you. At least now you knew why you hadn’t heard footsteps.
“They’re joyful.” You countered. “And rightfully so. It is Yule after all.”
He nodded in acceptance, and the two of you stood in silence for a moment. You weren’t sure when it had happened, but somewhere between Edoras and Helm’s Deep, you’d grown closer to the elf than you’d ever imagined.
“Do you miss it?” You asked, curiosity taking over. At his confused look you elaborated. “Your home. Is Yule very different there?”
He tilted his head at the questions, giving them some thought before answering. “I miss it, but in other ways it is very freeing to be somewhere else for a change. No responsibilities so to speak.” He glanced inside for a moment. “Our Yule is… different in some ways but very much alike in others. The parties are similar, but you humans have your own traditions.”
Your eyes moved over his shoulder, landing on the plant hung from the top of the archway the two of you had come through, the red berries standing out against the green of the distinctly shaped leaves.
“Yes,” you murmured. “We do.”
You’d had run-ins with mistletoe before - hell, your first kiss had been because of mistletoe, when you were 16 with a crush on the baker’s son. But this time the sight of it caused different feelings to rush up, and you knew that the elf beside you was the reason.
You glanced back at Legolas, eyes darting to his lips. It was the perfect excuse. No one else had to know.
The elf in question tilted his head, your wandering attention not being missed. “What is it?”
You swallowed. You hadn’t meant to be caught, but his question gave you the opening you needed, and you nodded towards the mistletoe, Legolas following your gaze.
“Have you ever heard of mistletoe?”
“The name, yes.” He shook his head. “But it’s not something we are familiar with at home.”
His eyes landed on you again, holding you captive in your spot and a hint of curiosity shone in them. You clearly saw something special in the plant - lots of humans did. He wasn’t unobservant. He’d heard the giggles as the servants hung the plant throughout the city and buildings in the lead up to the yule celebration, shooting sly glances at those who passed.
“Why don’t you tell me what’s so special about mistletoe then?” Legolas suggested, and you were sure you weren’t imagining the way he moved ever so slightly closer to you.
You cleared your throat, looking away for a moment before you turned back to the elf and spoke. You could feel your confidence rising.
“It’s a tradition.” You murmured, moving a step closer. “Usually it’s hung over doorways, so it’s harder to avoid. See, when two people get caught under mistletoe at the same time, there’s only one way to get out.”
“And what would that be?” His own voice was just as quiet as yours, and you could see as he slowly put together what you were saying, clearly being able to guess the implications of what came next from your tone.
By now there was hardly any space between you and as you worked up to answering, he lifted the hand not resting on the balcony bannister to brush a piece of stray hair back from your face, fingers lingering.
“A kiss.” You whispered, feeling his hand land on your waist as he slowly walked the two of you towards the mistletoe, stopping underneath it.
Blue eyes stared into yours, a smile on his lips. Snow was now lightly falling from the sky, having started sometime during your talk, small flakes landing on his pale hair, almost white in the moonlight.
Your eyes darted down to his lips once more as he spoke again, his voice barely louder than your own previous whisper. “Show me.”
In that moment, there was nothing apart from his words, resounding throughout you. They were the only thing that mattered; not the snow, not the fact that he was a prince, or an elf, not the light wind that ruffled the skirts of your dress, not the even sounds of celebration coming from inside.
You didn’t waste words, instead leaning forward to press your lips lightly against his own.
Somewhere along the way your hands had ended up on his chest, the smooth material of his tunic under your fingertips. One of his hands rested on your hip, the other lightly caressing your face as you pulled back.
You let out a breath, your lips tingling with the aftermath of the touch. You risked a glance up at Legolas again, only to see a soft smile directed at you as he spoke, eyes shining.
“We should get caught under mistletoe more often.”

So... what if...
Legolas x Elf!Fem!Reader Lord of the Rings
Word count: 1.9k
Summary: While babysitting Aragorn's child, Legolas enjoys the little .made up family moment with you, his love.
Warnings: Fluff, talks about having a family and getting married, female reader, that’s it.
A/N: This is pretty much another 5 month old draft that I'm throwing away for y'all, hope you all enjoy! Fun fact, i wrote this in like the three different perspectives without noticing and THE NIGHTMARE it was to fix it.
Tumblr media
The sun was rising high upon the sky, the number of white and soft clouds floating around were easily counted with the fingers of a hand just, the birds chirping happily as the rays of sunlight entered untouched through the tall windows of the hall, beaming against the velvety light blue fabric of your dress, you, the elf who had just walked out of the library after helping Arwen with something she needed.
As for now your eyes wandered through every arched door the castle had opened, searching for your beloved elf, who the more you look the less seemed to appear around.
Maybe he had gone out to horse riding with Aragorn, she thought to herself, not trying to think how unlikely it would’ve been from him to go without asking her if she wanted to, because she loved horse riding the lands around Gondor.
"Miss Y/N, how has your day been?" A maid of the castle asked her as they met in the hallway, the maid carrying in her arms a big bunch of stuff for the gardener.
"It's been good, Marilla, thank you. Let me help you." She offered, taking the upper half of the stuff in her arms.
"But my lady..."
"Don't, I already know what you are going to say, but I will help you and you cannot change my mind." And with that she started walking again, urging the woman to follow her, her smile brightening up where she went.
A couple of minutes later of Y/N following Marilla around they end up at the royal gardens, where the now old gardener of the castle waited for the object, he asked for with a smile splattered on his face.
"Lady Y/N, since when are you around this lands?" He asked, taking everything out of her arms and putting it aside.
"Both Legolas and I came back from the south two days ago, our mission has already ended so we plan on staying for a little while." Her pearly smile as dashing as ever. "Have you seen him by chance?"
"Sure thing my lady, he is with Eldarion down in the town, he said something about exploring the market if I am not wrong." He announced, earning a nod from the elf as she waved the both of them goodbye and walked towards the huge doors of the castle, open for the villagers.
A few dozen of meters down the stone way the sweet smell of the flowers displayed in front of the flower shop mixed with the harsh burnt scent of worked iron filled her nostrils, her ears picking up on the bustle from the town along with some other details.
"Lady Y/N, is so good to see you around? You want some freshly baked bread?" An old woman that took Y/N in during the battle of Mordor smiled up to her, her wrinkly eyes holding on to the shine of all they'd seen in their long human life.
"I will come for some later, I'm not carrying coins with me right not."
"Sh, sh, later it will be stone hard, take it now, I know you'll pay me later honey, and I don't need the money either way."
"Are you sure ma'am?"
"I'm always sure, even when I sat there and cured you gashes, I've never not been sure of something I do." She says, wisely speaking but to the elf, the old lady was just cute, her hand gestures as she put the bread in a cloth, her facial expression as she spoke to her, just in the way the elf had seen her speak to her grandchildren. "Now go, honey."
"By the way, have you seen Legolas around?" She asks, taking the bread the woman shoved in her hands.
"I saw him walk around not that long ago."
"Thank you lots."
And just like that, the elf was onto walking again, thankful to have chosen a dress not too long to be draping and getting dirty on the dusty stone, just as she thanked the casual look it could hold as of not dragging that much attention towards her, her long elven braids and ears already being a giveaway.
After not much more than ten minutes you spot a head full of white braided hair, taller than the average humans that surrounded you, with light steps you approached him, his ears apparently picking up on your sneaking between the crown because before you could reach he turned, the toddler prince up his arms with an apple on his hands. "You didn't actually thought you could sneak up on me, right Y/N?" He said, a teasing in his voice as he smiled at her, her beauty under the sunlight being as stunning as he could ever remember.
"I had hopes I could, but I guess I was wrong."
"Next time take off the necklace I made you, it has this very peculiar clink, maybe it'll help."
"Lady Y/N!" Aragorn's son called out, his tiny body leaning towards the elven with his arms extended, just for her to hold him between her own, slender arms wrapping around him and bringing him closer, happiness in his blue orbs.
"Hi young prince, did Legolas took you out the castle to the market?" You voice instantly becoming more soothing, the tone it held reminding Legolas of fresh honey and the scent of newly blossomed lilies.
"Yes Y/N, we are having fun!" He said back, his bubbly voice putting a smile on both of their faces.
"Well, if I'm not wrong time is getting near to when you are very much supposed to take your reading classes with your professor, do you think we can start heading bit by bit up to the castle?"
"But slowly, I don't want to leave the town, not just yet." He says, a small pout on his lips just as she nods, eyes rolling jokingly.
"You love outside as much as your father, huh?" Putting him down to walk she took his hand, careful not to lose him as she looked up to Legolas with a shine in her eyes, immediately putting a smile on his face.
"Shall we head back Legolas?" She says, a soft smile on her lips as she appreciated his light colored eyes, warm spreading on her chest as she mirrors his look.
"Y/N, Legolas, let's go!" Eldarion said, pulling on her hand before grabbing Legolas' too.
"I think someone wants us to, my love." Legolas chuckles, both elves starting to walk all the way up to the castle, doing occasional stops to buy with Legolas' money some stuff either his partner or the prince liked, also paying the old lady for the bread as you passed her bakery.
"And off you go, until supper Eldarion." She says, hand brushing his soft light brown locks off his eyes before he ran to Arwen, who was read to take him to his classes.
"I really liked today, but I didn't knew human children were so energetic." Legolas muttered under his breath as he watched Eldarion go, turning towards the elven and smiling warmly at her.
"I've heard they can be quite a handful sometimes, but it is not like this one is all human." She says back, hand intertwining in his as them both turn to continue walking their own way around.
"Meleth nin?" He called after some moments of silence, eyes upfront, taking in the blue colors of the sky.
"Yes?" She answered, mesmerized by a few birds that could be heard.
"Want to seat by the trees on the back gardens?" He offers, his thumb rubbing circles against the back of her hand in a loving manner.
"Of course, my love." She answered, using the two words that always got Legolas ears to shine in precious rose tones.
A quite enjoyable breeze that announced the end of spring nearing blew through them, both of their long hairs moving with the wind, Y/N's cheeks feeling relieved by the coldness it still held, just as the sound of it thought the tree branches and the flowers, a fond calmness around it as the two sat next to the other, head on his shoulder as they both stay silent, enjoying the bit of nature the castle had, staying there for around half an hour, maybe even 45 minutes, just appreciating the presence of the other, her eyes fixated on the sky and his closed, concentrated on the sounds his ears could pick up on.
"Y/N?" He whispers, hand finding her pinky fingers, playing with the metal band that adorned it, later leaving loving caresses on the creases of her palm, eyes slowly opening up to look at her who rested on his shoulder.
"Yes?"
"I have been thinking for quite some time now..." He started, his nails drawing flowers on her fingertips. "What if... we had our own little family?"
"A family?" She asks, slightly straightening to look at him, gaze meeting his, noting the way his eyes held a bit of worry hidden behind the want he felt. "Like... children of our own?"
"I'm not saying right now, we are only a bit more than half a century into our relationship and still have quite the time ahead, but after all that has happened in the last decade or so, actually, ever since Smaug and all that, we've seen so many people come and go, I can't help but think of the fact that maybe, just maybe, we don't have that much time as we think we do." He drifts off, looking down to their hands together. "So, only if you want, maybe we can start to settle down a bit, get married in a couple of springs and try to have our own little elven family. What do you think Meleth nin?"
"I... think we are ready" She answers, smiling a bit. "...and even if I hadn't thought about what you said before, the whole losing each other bit, you hold some truth to your words." Words start coming out of her mouth but Legolas notices how her brain is somewhere else, the gears in spinning, short images of her and him married, with one or maybe even two elflings running around what they'd call home don't looking like such a bad idea, the two had started dating around half a decade after the battle in the mountain, a bit above sixty years from this very moment, they've both grown into their own type of love and watched it blossom to the stable relationship you two hold now.
"So..." He starts patiently, hand sneaking to put a bit of hair behind your ear delicately, trying not to touch them too harshly, eyes centered on his live as he saw her wandering around her future words.
"I'd very much like to have a family with you, Legolas, not now, as you say, but in the near future, a little you or a little me running around sounds cute enough for me to like it." She says, nodding and smiling widely, mirroring the grin in his beautiful face, his blue eyes beaming with happiness in his next words.
"Oh, love, we have all the time you need." He says, leaning to kiss her forehead lovingly before returning to their comfortable silence.

lindir x reader
I’m basing this story after a short I saw here it is if y’all want a peak:
youtube
It was the big night. You stood before your mirror, adjusting your dress and putting on your crown before heading out to find your father. Your dress swayed as you walked up to your Lindir and your father.
“I’m ready.”
Lindir gave you a smile. “Lady Y/n, you look lovely.”
You blushed at the compliment. “I-thank you, Lindir… and how many times must I tell you just to call me y/n?”
“At least once more, my lady.”
Your father smiled. “Lindir, please take y/n to the ballroom I shall be there in a moment…”
You linked your arm with Lindir’s and he looked away, smiling slightly.
The two of you entered the large room and you were immediately met by a tall charming elf. “Lady y/n, a pleasure.”
You inwardly groaned as he asked for a dance but being too shy to say no you reluctantly agreed.
You gave Lindir a goodbye look before dancing with the elf.
Lindir stood, watching you with a frown. He began fantasizing about him being the one who had his hands on your waist as you danced.
“She likes you, you know,” a voice said, pulling him out of his fantasies.
“What?” Lindir asked, looking over at Lord Elrond.
Elrond pored a glass of wine and looked over at Lindir. “It’s not hard to see. You’ve worked with me for many years. I can tell you fell the same towards her,” he said before lifting the glass to his lips.
Lindir stood silently as lord Elrond began to talk with another elf.
You appeared next to Lindir. “He’s awful, all he can think of is himself.”
Lindir looked over at you. “I’m sorry,” he whispered.
“But he’s nowhere near as bad as this one…” you groaned as a stuck-up elf walked towards you. You looked at Lindir before grabbing his hands. “Come on, dance with me…please?”
He nodded. “I-I sure…”
You blushed madly and smiled. “Thank you, Lindir…” you whispered.
His grip on your body tightened the slightest bit. Your breath stoped as you realized you’d never had such a good time with anyone else.
Lord Elrond returned to where he’d left Lindir and looked around confused when he couldn’t find him. A smile adorned his face when he saw you laugh as Lindir said something and spun you around.
You both stoped and Lindir bowed. “Thank you, my lady.”
You smiled and gently tilted his chin up. “The thanks is mine…”
Lindir placed his hand on the back of his neck and looked away before walking off.
You smiled and shook your head as Lindir walked up to your father, saying something you couldn’t hear.
Suddenly, your waist was roughly grabbed and you were pulled into a dance. So you ended up having to dance with him anyways. Great.
“Seems you had the courage to ask her for a dance?”
Lindir blushed. “I-I…” he looked at his feet and sighed. “No I didn’t…”
“Whatever do you mean?” Elrond asked, siping his wine.
“She… asked me…”
Elrond almost choked on the wine and looked over at Lindir. “She asked you?”
Lindir couldn’t meet his lord’s eyes. “Y-yes…”
A thoughtful look came over Elrond’s face. “I never thought she’d have the courage…”
Lindir sighed, a dreamy look on his eyes. “I wish it hadn’t ended so soon…”
Elrond looked over to lindir and sighed. “Lindir…I give you my permission to court her…if you wish to peruse her.”
Lindir’s eyes went huge. “But my lord, I’m not of a noble decent…”
“No, but you’d make her happy… I leave it up to you, lindir…”
Lindir blinked a few times, nervously thinking about what that would mean for you, for him, for both of you…
Elrond watched Lindir as he thought before walking off. Tears pricked his eyes. You were his youngest child and because of that you were babied constantly. It was odd to think that you may end up courting someone before the rest of your siblings-well Arwen was pretty much being courted by Aragorn.
You tried to maintain yourself as you danced with the snobby elf that held you a little too tightly.
He’d pulled you out of the ballroom and to a balcony.
“I don’t think we should be out here.”
He pulled you to his chest. “Why? Would you rather be somewhere even more secluded, baby?”
“I am not your ‘baby’!” You growled.
Your father heard your distressed voice and went to investigate.
Suddenly, you were being dipped and he was about to kiss you. You knew you had only one option, let yourself fall to the floor.
Elrond was fuming and went to stop the madness when Lindir beat him to it.
You let yourself fall and someone swept you up before you hit the ground, spinning you in his arms. Lindir. You blushed as he held you bridal style.
“Hey! What gives?!” The elf growled.
Lindir placed you back on your feet but held your body to his chest as the tall elf crossed his arms and looked down at you both.
Lindir took a breath. “It doesn’t take a genius to know that she was not enjoying what you were doing, that is no way to treat a lady.”
You clutched Lindir’s shirt and buried your head in his chest. “L-lindir…” you whimpered, trembling.
“You don’t have the right to speak to an elven prince like that you-”
“Actually, he does,” Elrond said, cutting him off. “Lindir is my right hand and if you disrespect him you’re disrespecting me.”
“I- lord Elrond. I-I don’t know I-”
Elrond held up his hand. “If I ever see you touch my daughter I will not hesitate to act even if that means war.”
Finally coming out of shock, you let out a sob.
Lindir looked at you than Elrond. Elrond nodded and lindir pulled you away to another balcony close by but out of ear shot.
He sat and you sobbed into his chest. “H-he tried t-to…to, oh Lindir it was awful…” you sobbed.
He gently rubbed your back. “Y/n, I’m here…”
You looked up at him. “No ‘lady’ this time?” You asked with a tiny smile.
Lindir gently wiped your tears away. “Are you alright? He didn’t hurt you did he?”
You shook your head. “Only scared me.”
Lindir brushed your hair out of your face. “T-there’s something I wish to say…if you’ll allow me…”
You smiled. “You don’t need my permission, speak.”
He took a breath and let it out. “Y/n…” he began, looking into your eyes. “I love you…”
Your eyes widened. “Y-you love me,” you asked in amazement.
Lindir nodded. “I-I do…”
You stood, pulling him to his feet as you did so. “I love you too…” you whispered, gently pulling on his shirt so you could press your lips on his.
Lindir’s arms wrapped gently around your waist, pulling your body close to his.
Your fingers got tangled in his hair as the kiss went from soft and sweet to deep and loving.
Elrond went to check on the two of you and apologize for not realizing the situation sooner when he stoped dead in his tracks at the entrance to the balcony. Tears of love and joy filled his eyes as you slowly pulled away from the kiss.
He watched as suddenly tears filled your eyes and you looked at your feet. “I-is this are we even allowed to-”
Lindir cut you off with a quick and gentle kiss. “Your father has already given me his blessing…”
You smiled and wrapped your arms around him. “Oh Lindir… thank you…”
“For what?”
“Rescuing me from a fait I wouldn’t have escaped on my own. Though I am surprised, I’ve never seen you so bold before…”
“Well… when it comes to the people I love, boldness is the one thing I don’t lack.”
You kissed his cheek. “Yes but a small amount of stupidity fallows. I thought he was going to hit you…”
Lindir pulled you to his chest and gently placed his chin on top of your head. “I’d of taken an arrow to keep you from him.”
You smiled and slowly took in his scent before kissing his chest. “Shall we go back to the dance floor?”
“Depends… who’s the one dancing with you if we do?”
You chuckled. “You of corse.”
Elrond cleared his throat. “Actually, I’d like one dance with my daughter then she’s yours for the night, Lindir…”
You and Lindir looked at one another than your father. “Deal…”
Your father led you to the dance floor and you looked up at him with a smile. “Ada, I love him…”
Elrond smiled at you. “I know you do, I’ve seen it for years now.”
“Are you ok?” You asked as his eyes became watery.
Elrond smiled as a tear rolled down his cheek. “Y/n, I just want you to know that no one is ever good enough for your little girl until suddenly… there’s one person that you realize is, I’ve known him for years and there is no one I’d trust more than him to be by your side.”
You smiled. “He’s incredible, I’ve no doubt of that…”
Elrond gently kissed your forehead as the dance ended. “My little girl isn’t little anymore…”
You gently wiped the tears from his face. “I love you, Ada…”
Elrond smiled. “I love you too, y/n,” he whispered before spinning you around and leaving you in Lindir’s arms.
“Well? What did he say?” Lindir asked.
You smiled. “He said there’s no one he trusts to have me more than you…”
Lindir smiled at those words. “I love you… I always will…”

A Tree of Fellowship and Love
Pairing: (LOTR) Aragorn x reader x Arwen
Summary: You collectively decide with the fellowship to go on a picnic! No more rings or fighting evil, just a picnic under a big tree with plenty of food to share. Also, you may or may not fall asleep under the said tree at night and get smothered with affection with a certain pair of fantastic people.
Warnings: None in particular
Add. Notes: I simply could not figure out where it would be an appropriate place to have a picnic, considering all the places the characters came from/went to, so I went with Hobbiton. At this point I'm both accepting and denying everything that happened in the story; Aragorn and Arwen walk around as if they aren't rulers of Gondor, Boromir isn't dead, and Frodo, Legolas and Gimli haven't gone to the undying lands, and yet everything in LOTR has already happened.

{ Hello there! I decided to change this blog to the kind that posts about... anything, really. Since I "converted" into an all-fics-n-shits-blog, I changed the aesthetic aswell. To spice (not exactly) these messages up a lil bit, I'll start adding little things about myself; for example, I'm a cat person! }
- Eero, Jan 2023
Tumblr media
It was a relatively uneventful day in Hobbiton, and Sam was describing to you the qualities of the plants he was currently tending to. It was bound to be simple and uneventful if you lived in a place like Hobbiton, but you weren't interested in books and gardening. You wanted to spend time with people, and certainly not like this.
You brainstormed along with Merry and Pippin about things you could possibly do with friends in a place like Hobbiton. You already told them at the start of the brainstorming session that stealing vegetables from a dismayed farmer is out of the question. Merry remembered a big meadow with a large tree - which conveniently happened to be near the village - and suggested that something could be done there. A picnic was the best thing that came to your mind, and the two hobbits loved the said idea.
After a quick trip to the rest of the fellowship's homes it was decided; tomorrow you would have a picnic under a large tree that you are yet to see. You asked Merry to take you to the meadow he had mentioned, and so he did. When the two of you made it there, you were surprised that you had never even noticed it; it looked like the kind you'd see in dreams. There was lots of tall grass and colorful flowers of many kinds, and in the middle of it all, there was a large, green tree that every child would wish to climb on top of. It was the perfect place to have a picnic with old friends.
The next morning you began to prepare food for the picnic you had arranged with the fellowship. Aragorn, Arwen and Legolas got the task of creating sandwiches, Boromir and Gimli had to make drinks, and the hobbits, along with you, were tasked to make desserts. You got plenty of help from the hobbits, for they had a lot of cooking experience thanks to the meal schedule average hobbits had. They decided to cook some blackberry pancakes and bake milk bread.
After a bunch of flour and dough spills, you had finished the bread and pancakes, and packed them up into a basket along with a few plates and a jar of berry jam. The four hobbits went ahead of you to pick some extra blackberries for the pancakes while you were taking your time with getting to the picnic spot. You had only now realized that it's the afternoon.
As you were waiting for everyone else with the hobbits, Peregrin told you about the ents that caused the almost literal downfall of Isengard. He said that although he was high off his pants after that and probably in the middle of it too, he still remembered how uncomfortable it was to sit on Treebeard's shoulder. Meriadoc recalled how Pippin was concerned about not being able to have any children.
While the two aforementioned hobbits bickered about what really happened, you noticed the faces of your dear friends making their way through the meadow. You pointed it out to the hobbits, and the five of you began waving at them in an exaggerated yet adorable way. Legolas was already jogging in your general direction alongside Gimli, while Boromir was carrying a basket with drinks he had made with the said dwarf. Arwen and Aragorn were delighted to see you waving at them like that, and began waving back as the pair walked to the tree.
Boromir realized that nobody had brought any blankets to sit on, so he proposed to go back himself to bring one. But he didn't need to; Gandalf was already coming to the picnic tree with a large, rolled-up blanket under his arm. Now the entire fellowship was together.
You all put the baskets and personal items in each corner of the blanket so it wouldn't fly away with the wind, although there wasn't much wind to speak of. Aragorn took some small plates out of his basket with a few sandwiches, and Boromir pulled out a bottle of apple cider from his own basket. Aragorn finished giving out the little plates as Arwen handed the rest of the sandwiches to everyone.
Boromir was telling Sam about the cider-making process as everyone ate and listened. Every now and then someone would chirp in, until something Sam said reminded Gimli of the stories his father, Gloin, would tell him. Eventually the dwarf retold the story of Thorin's company's travels to Erebor. Frodo felt very proud of Bilbo for traveling with dwarves all the way to the Lonely Mountain, although he himself had accomplished a major feat aswell.
As the hours went by and the sky began getting darker, the members of the fellowship would tell stories from their own lives and from others. Most of the group was becoming tired of the day, and it was becoming evident; lots of yawning and words turning continuously quieter and quieter could be heard.
You only now realized that Aragorn and Arwen had moved next to you, and the latter motioned you to relax and let her hold you. You listened to her without a second thought, and now you were sitting in Arwen's lap as her arms were wrapped around you. Aragorn moved closer to Arwen and put his head on her shoulder.
It seemed that the rest of the fellowship took that as a hint and now began to wrap up their long conversation. Gimli packed the now empty bottles into Boromir's basket, and Legolas put the remaining plates into yours and Aragorn's baskets. Gandalf asked everyone to get off the blanket and move their things, and then rolled up the said blanket like a carpet.
The hobbits also knew that you would stay longer, so they took your basket and left with it themselves. Most of your friends followed them away from the tree back to Hobbiton, leaving you, Aragorn, and Arwen under the big tree with stars.
The three of you sat back down on the ground, and tried to get into a comfortable position that would work for three people. You sat back in Arwen's lap, held by her bridal style, as Aragorn sat infront of her. You were now sitting between your lovers, unsure of what to do now; your mind began going to all sorts of places, until Aragorn gave a little kiss on your forehead.
Because you still didn't know what to do, you just froze in place as your face heated up from the move Aragorn pulled on you. Arwen grinned at your reaction, and gave multiple kisses onto your face, causing you to hide your head between your shoulders to get away from the kisses. That didn't stop Aragorn from giving a peck on the top of your head, though, and now you were back in your initial position, embarrassed that they saw you in such a state.
You thought that the "kiss wave" was over when Arwen helped you readjust your position to laying down next to her, but no; oh how mistaken you were. The elf gave you yet another peck on the cheek, and Aragorn came in from your other side and wrapped his arms around your torso, and also gave you a kiss after making himself comfortable.
Arwen put an arm around you aswell, and began whispering words to you in a language and manner you were yet to understand. Aragorn had already closed his eyes, and it seemed Arwen had aswell, although she was still whispering. You imitated them by closing your own eyes, too. You had fallen asleep to Arwen describing you in the best manner possible, even though you didn't understand a word she said.
The pair was actually still awake, and gave each other the look when they were certain that you were now in a sleeping state. Aragorn carefully lifted you up bridal style from the ground, and began carrying you away from the tree, while Arwen was right behind him with the remaining basket and personal items.
Unused paragraphs and things I didn't want to include in add. notes nor the "letter."
Instead of bringing you to your own house, Aragorn brought you to his, for it was closer to the tree and he didn't want to wake you up. Fortunately, nothing that they did disturbed your sleep. They changed into comfortable clothing after putting you into their bed, and then laid down next to you. They both whispered to you a "Sweet dreams, Y/N," and followed you to dreamland.
One time Pippin told you about all of these mealtimes that Hobbits would have throughout the day; which aside regular meals included a second breakfast, an another, later breakfast, some afternoon tea, and yet another meal a few hours after dinner. When you needed something to zone out to, you liked to think of all the good food they would eat at those excessive meals.
To me, Arwen and Aragorn seem to be the kind of people that give the best forehead kisses, or any kinds of kisses in general, and whoever receives them would fucking melt in their hands like ice on a hot day. I definitely would've written their part longer if I was good with writing physical affection (╥﹏╥ ) im sorry
I only now, after finishing writing this, realized that all of my fanfics' endings so far involve either death or falling asleep. I have a guess to why my ideas end with these things but I don't want to go there.

Lady Applejack Sent Me: Eddie Munson x Black! Reader Drabble Part  2/2
Summary: As the eldest Sinclair sibling, you’ve put up with a lot happening in your cursed little town.  But no one touches or threatens your siblings, your siblings friends, that now include your ex.
Takes place some time after jason’s little speech but does not follow the season four episode timeline so things may be out of order, don’t yell at me.  trigger warnings: violence, hurt/comfort, jason is his own warning to be honest. minors dni
and here’s the conclusion, hope you like it!
“Are you gonna let go of me any time soon?”  You asked your ex, who currently held you in a tight squeeze in the dim light of the boathouse.
“Would Aragorn let go of Arwen?”
“This is why we broke up, you play too much.” You grumbled yet tucked your head under his chin nonetheless.
“I need you to know, I didn’t do what they think I did, I would never-” Eddie breaks off, eyes anywhere but your face. Call it force of habit, you gently put your hand to his cheek. You’ve seen him sad, mad, frustrated before but not this, never like this.
“Look at me, I don’t know what happened but I do know that you, Eddie Munson, couldn’t hurt a fly. I’ve seen you try, it’s adorable and extremely annoying. I believe you, I trust you, and that’s all I need to know.”
“Why did I ever let you go, Sinclair?” Eddie asked, leaning into your touch, his face inches from yours.
“I could ask you the same question.”  You scoff and the embrace comes to an end with the sound of a familiar though staticy voice.
“Dustin to Eddie, do you copy?”
Eddie reached behind you and grabbed the walkie talkie with an awkward cough. Maybe this wasn’t the best idea, you should be out there looking for Lucas, keeping them both safe.
“I’m here Henderson, scared shitless but laying low as instructed. I’ve even got a special guest with me. Anything you want to say to the listeners at home, Princess?” He asked, the corners of his mouth curling into a small smile.  You rolled your eyes and took the walkie from him.
“Dustin, it’s me. Please tell me Lucas is with you?”
There’s an audible commotion which relieves you as you can all but picture Dustin passing the walkie to your brother.
“Where are you with Eddie? Did you tell Mom and Dad I’m out? Are you getting back together with Eddie? This isn’t the time to be playing tonsil hockey!”
You slap a hand over Eddie’s mouth before he can respond.
“What happened to hello, how are you, or how about thank you for coming out after curfew to see if I’m still alive? I’m going into debt at the Bank of Erica because of you, you’re lucky I don’t drag your ass back home and let mom and dad deal with you.” You huffed, pinching the bridge of your nose. “Are you all safe where you are or do you need me to come get you?”
“We’re okay but Jason’s somewhere out there, looking for all of us. ”
“Yeah, you’re not gonna have to worry about Jason, at least for a little while. So if you guys just sit tight, we can all figure something out together.”
You realize there’s an unusual amount of silence next to you and you look up from the walkie to see him staring at you as if seeing you for the first time, concern and unrecognizable fury clouding his features. He gently takes the walkie out of your hands, ignoring your cries of annoyance.
“Sinclair, we’re gonna have to call you back, I need some alone time with your sister.”
“Ew, gross man.”
Eddie doesn’t wait for a response before throwing the walkie to the side and yanking on the overhead light.
“What the hell Eddie?! Someone could see that, turn it off!” You whisper but he does nothing of the sort as you both take in your ripped clothes, swollen ankle, and various cuts and bruises now littering your body in full exposed light.
“I’m going to fucking kill him.” He growled, fists clenched at his sides, pacing the length of the room
“You’ll do no such thing.”
“How did this even happen?”
“ He threatened them; you, Lucas, Erica, an actual child. I was trying to find you but I found him first. I asked him to leave you alone, one thing led to another, I slashed his tires and that’s when the party really got started.”  You gave a grave chuckle that was not reciprocated.
“ You could have gotten yourself killed!”
“ I can handle my business Eddie, I got him away from here, from my family, and that’s all there is to it.”
“ You kicked his ass for me, Princess?”
“I know you like I know myself Eddie and nothing Jason and his disciples do will ever change that. So yeah, I did it, and I’d do it again.” You said and cracked a pained smile.
It’s his turn to take your face in his hands, his thumb gently rubbing away the dried blood and grime at the corner of your lip.
You shouldn’t be doing this but why does it feel like you're exactly where you’re supposed to be?
“Let me take care of you. Come on princess, please let me look after you.”
“ Eddie, the reason I’m here is to look after you. I’m fine, it’s not as bad as it looks.” You say quickly but he kneels in front of you, hands on your knees.
“ You haven’t changed one bit, Sinclair.  You take care of everybody, Lucas, Lady Applejack, fuck you’re taking care of me and we’re not even together.  You saved my ass without asking for shit in return so please, you’re hurt,  let me put you first and take care of you for once.”
That’s all it took for you to put your forehead to his, wrap your arms around his neck, and legs around waist.
“ There’s my baby, I got you.” He soothes, gently lifting you up off the floor and into the makeshift bedroom. You watched him with content as he bustled around the boathouse retrieving a half empty first aid kit and a dish towel that appeared to be clean to the naked eye but you weren’t up to figuring out if the exact opposite was the case.
“ Tell me where it hurts and I’ll be gentle. “
You settle into comfortable sleepy silence, your fingers entwined in his hair as he meticulously cleans your cuts and wraps your ankle.
“Looks like someone paid attention in health class this year.” You quipped with a yawn.
“Well I wanted to graduate so I decided to give a shit. Not that it matters now since I’m a wanted man.” He said, gently lifting your ankle onto a pillow.
“We’ll get this fixed Eddie, I’m not the only one who knows you didn’t do anything wrong and we’ll get your name cleared, I promise. You deserve to graduate and I’ll be there front and center.”
Eddie stops cleaning up, eyes filled with tears.
“ You asked me earlier why I let you go.”
“Yeah.”
“ It’s because I was scared. I saw you walk across that stage, diploma in hand with all your awards, you smiling with your parents, and I couldn’t bear to be another wrecking ball on someone’s life. You were my joy Sinclair, every last bit of it,  but I couldn’t make you wait for me, anybody but me.”
Your heart sinks and you sit straight up.
“Eddie, college is great, my jobs help me get by, but this entire time I’ve been so lonely it scares me. You have my brother, now my sister, but you let me go. I’ve been wracking my brain for months to try to figure out what I did wrong, tried dating other people but none of them felt right.  I’ve got nowhere else to put my love except with you, Eddie.  I don’t care about Hawkins so if you want me, really truly want me, I’m right here.  Don’t run away from me, not again.”  You finished with a choked sob, aware this was certainly not the best time for this conversation but it had been long overdue.
Without a word, he carefully lifted you onto his lap, your back flush against his chest, arms tight around you as he rocked you softly back and forth.
“If I get out of this, I swear I’ll never run away again, I promise. I won’t lose you again, not a chance in hell, not my baby.” He kissed the top of your head twice over before you reached up and brought his lips to yours.
“ I love you Eddie, more than you’ll ever know.” You said, eyes no longer fighting to stay open as he pulled a blanket over both of you.
“I love you too, princess. I’ll be right here when you wake up. ”
You let sleep take you, your love finally safe with the man with a sweet smile and a good heart.
You’re nearly asleep when a staticky voice comes through the walkie.
“ You two do realize you never turned your walkie off right?”
“Henderson!”

For the @ainursecretsanta side event, and inspired by these prompts created by @cilil
Pairing: Estë x Elrond | Elrond x Celebrian
Themes: Soft | Angst-ish
Warnings: None
Wordcount: 800+ words
Summary: After having spoken with Estë, Elrond meets with his wife and talk of their children.

Every aspect of the blessed realm was a feast for the senses. And there was a new wonder to be seen where he turned his head. Elrond was overwhelmed. He wanted to tarry and witness more of the spectacles that lay before him, but the hobbits who joined him on the journey to Valinor had to be seen to first.
He guided them to the Gardens of Lorien, and placed them in Estë's tender care.
"They have endured so much," she observed to Elrond when they had a moment to themselves. "And how did they resist his call for so long? Even an elven mind such as yours would not have persisted against Sauron after enough time had passed and his hold on your thoughts had tightened."
"The halflings are a most surprising people," Elrond replied. They were seated beneath the branches of an ancient tree while Estë's Maiar went about their duties. "Just when you think you have learned all that you could possibly learn about them, they will astonish you with something new."
Estë smiled. "Such appears to be the case with them. And how fare you, my Lord Elrond? Is Valinor all that you envisioned it to be?"
"It is, my lady, and so much more." Elrond paused, hesitated. He looked about him and then lowered his voice. "But I was hoping to see her. Is she here, my lady? Is Celebrian here?"
"She is. And she waits for you by the fountain. Come. I will take you to her."
Celebrian was seated on the edge of the fountain, trailing her fingers through the clear water. She rose when Estë called softly to her, a smile flitting across her countenance when she set her eyes on Elrond.
"Husband," she replied with shy pleasure. "We have been apart for far too long."
Estë made her excuses and took her leave of them with nary a sound. Elrond took her hands into his when he reached her. They were just as he remembered them—elegant and nimble. They were also trembling.
"Are you well, my love?"
"I am, yes. It is just that I have not felt your hands over mine for so long."
Elrond led her to a little bench and sat beside her. "Forgive my love, for not coming to you sooner," he told her, his eyes full of sorrow. "But I had another pressing matter to tend to and... "
"I know. Estë told me of your hobbit friends." Celebrian bore no ill will toward her husband, or his little friends. She was curious to see them and hoped Elrond would introduce her to them when a suitable time arose. "And I am not angry. What is an additional day or two apart when we have till the end of Arda to be with each other?"
Elrond lifted her hands and brought her hands to his lips.
"What became of our children?" Celebrian asked. "My mother did not say much, save to counsel me to wait for you. Where are they, my love? Will they join us in Valinor?"
Her husband girded himself for the difficult task that was to follow. Celebrian was not told of Arwen's choice, and it would wound her deeply to know she would never see her child again.
"The twins remain in Middle-Earth," he began, "driving the last of the orcs from our lands. They will join Legolas when he leaves for the Blessed Realm. As for Arwen..." he hesitated again, this time as grief gathered around his heart like a dark cloud. "My love... I do not know how else to say this, but I will tell you, anyway. Arwen chose the gift of Ilúvatar for herself. She now walks the path Lúthien took before her. She wed a mortal man, Aragorn, and now lives by his side as his queen."
The light he saw in her eyes, one that arose like a timid guest, fled. Elrond wished for nothing more than to soften the blow and say their daughter may find her way to them, but he did not have the heart to say so. Then Celebrian sighed and moved to rest her head against her husband's shoulder. Elrond slid his arms around her and drew her closer in a comforting gesture.
"Is this Aragorn a good man?" She finally inquired.
"He is the best of men," Elrond answered truthfully. "And I have never seen our daughter so happy."
It pained her deeply to hear of the fate her daughter chose for herself. Still, Celebrian made herself content with the knowledge that her daughter was loved by a good man, and that she was happy.
"It is good then," she allowed. "And I hope our sons will come to us soon. Now tell me other tales of our children Elrond, and their deeds. I wish to hear more."

9 fandom peeps to get to know better:
thanks @dragonagelesbian for tagging me! i am so eept rn so i have,,,, no idea how coherent this’ll be lol
3 ships you like: gigolas (gimli and legolas; i refuse to use any ship name other than the most ridiculous one lmao) (they invented love methinks); nerdanel x fëanor (their love and epic divorce compel me… rotating them in my brain like The Cube); and bagginshield (idiots 🫶). i like (love, even) many ships akfkskf but right now im in my tolkien era (again.) so uhhh yeah. all tolkien ships here. shoutout to dinkus tho.
first ship ever: literally aragorn and arwen. i was obsessed with them and wanted them to be my parents. in after-school daycare i would sit in front of a whiteboard and draw a big ole castle and draw out my elaborate fantasy role play i had w a friend in which i WAS their child. this brainrot has been with me for as long as i can remember i inherited it i will live forever with it. incurable disease (liking tolkien) haver.
last song you heard: squints. well earlier i was SINGING many songs from the broadway beauty and the beast musical but that was acapella so that doesn’t count. it’s uhh. (opens spotify). well i’m halfway through doom days by bastille (doom days by bastille my beloved). so that. (unless you do count what i was singing for some reason. in which case. uhhhh. if i can’t love her. THEE beauty and the beast song of all time. helloooooo is this thing on do you hear me? do you understand? it’s the musical song of all time to me actually. it’s so good. listen to it. evermore wants what she has.)
favorite childhood book: uhhh so i only remember really early childhood and later childhood. i know i had other favorites between like 5-8 or so. but you’re getting what i can remember ajdjwjd. as a YOUNG kid i loved “goodnight moon”. the kids book of all time. and in later childhood, outside of my obsession with the warrior cats franchise (a given), i really loved the inheritance cycle books. i need to reread them so bad SO BAD. also i need to get the illustrated edition of eragon. shakes.
currently reading: “the fellowship of the ring”. don’t look atme. don’t— look. look. when i said it’s my tolkien girlie era again. well. yeah. anyway. i am. 97-98% thru it so probably it will change to two towers. also TECHNICALLY. i am still. technically. reading “carmilla” (she’s somewhere in my room but i don’t know where oops). and also. technically. “the silmarillion” (LOOK.), because i need to actually read it all the way thru for once and not just skip to the bits about my favoritest worst guys alive who are hated by god and also do war crimes but they’re funny. so it’s. look. it. it’s okay. hey look at me. the murder is not a big deal. it’s all so catholic here. i’m more worried about that.
currently watching: stares into the distance. it’s been so long since i’ve watched anything. at least TV/movie-wise. i watch a simmer’s streams and youtube vids is that anything? no…. naur…. i think the last. thing i watched was. uh. an episode of ATLA.
currently consuming: BALDURS GATE THREE. i am obsessed w my tav rn. i restarted my playthru bc i wanted to good recruit minthara bc i feel like she’d have a crunchy dynamic w my tav, lleuad. somehow less crunchy than i expected but we just got her so who’s to say. anyway. shakking,,,, look at Them. (talking to one of the besties.)
Tumblr media
currently craving: japanese curry……… mmmm. with. chicken katsu. yeag
tagging: open tag bc actual tagging always gives me anxiety lmao. if you want to do this, consider yourself tagged!

To Love a Ranger Prologue- Aragorn x OC
Tumblr media
Aragorn x Issa
Description: N/A
Word Count: 742
Tumblr media
Issa didn’t actually remember much from the Orc attack. Naturally being only five years old you don’t retain much, but this was a rather special case. When she arrived in Rivendell she had absolutely no recollection of who she was or why she was alone. She barely even remembered the trip there aside from when she stumbled upon the entrance by chance and was found by two brunette Elves by the name of Elladan and Elrohir. They had taken her to the leader of the valley, Lord Elrond (who also happened to be their father), where they attempted to jog her memory. They didn’t find much, so they had to search the lands nearby (knowing that a child couldn’t travel that far by herself) to find the source from whence she came.
From what she’d been told by Lord Elrond her parents had been the leaders of a large village of Dunedain and descendants of the Dunedain in another land that she no longer recognized the name of. There’d been an attack by a large legion of Orcs, wishing to wipe out one specific Dunedain descendant she would never remember the name of (mostly because there hadn’t been a name given. Even the Orcs didn’t know who they were trying to kill, which was why they attacked the village itself.
Her parents were wishing to seek sanctuary in a place called Imladris - though it also went by the name Rivendell in the common tongue. They took their daughter and fled, though they were quickly captured by Orc troops. Issa’s parents quickly came up with a plan to  save their daughter, but that unfortunately included sacrificing themselves. They instructed her to run as hard and fast as she could to find Rivendell, saying that she’d know what it was when she saw it.
And that’s what led her to where she was now. Now there was the question of what to do with Issa. They didn’t quite know, but then Issa met Arwen, Elrond’s daughter. The Elf immediately grew attached to the child and begged her father to keep her and raise her. After much deliberation Elrond finally agreed, and Issa was welcomed into the family.
That’s where she met Aragorn. Despite him being almost five years older than her, they still seemed to be in the same boat. His parents had also been slain by Orcs and he was sent to Rivendell (though he was only two years old when it happened) to be raised by Lord Elrond. Not only that but they were both Dunedain. Issa later figured out that he was the descendant that the Orcs were searching for when her parents died. She never blamed him, though. It wasn’t his fault that he had been born. They ended up bonding over their traumatic pasts. Issa attributed a lot of her healing with Aragorn, and she knew Aragorn felt the same about her.
The girl couldn’t say exactly when she fell in love with him, but she’d come to realize that she had almost sixty years later, when he was sixty-eight and she was sixty-three. And she was ecstatic when he professed that he loved her too just one year later, which meant that she thankfully didn’t have to keep her feelings a secret any longer, and they began courting.
Unfortunately things sort of halted when Aragorn became a Ranger. Issa didn’t want much to do with the Dunedain heritage after what happened to her parents, so she was often left behind when he was needed for duty. She didn’t mind, however, as she knew that his heart still belonged to her the same way hers still belonged to him. Besides, he always came back to her, so she was always content to wait for him.
There were times where she even opted to come along for smaller scouting missions. She loved when that happened because they were sure to get time alone, even if they were both keeping watch of the Shire to make sure nothing happened. She loved to travel with him, it was as simple as that. She would follow him to the ends of the earth if he so asked, but as it turned out he would ask her to do just the opposite when a threat looms over the people of Middle Earth. But, if there was one thing Issa was bad at, it was following directions.

READING JOHN BOORMAN'S LORD OF THE RINGS (PART 8)
@thealmightyemprex @goodanswerfoxmonster @angelixgutz @princesssarisa @the-blue-fairie @themousefromfantasyland @amalthea9
So the designated Fellowship is walking in circles coming and going to Rivendell, them Aragorn and Boromir, having Zack Snyder's Batman x Superman levels of stupidity, decide to have a fight to posess the Sword-that-was-broken.
Arwen stops them by standing in the middle of the two and holding their foreheads, them sets that they can share the Sword-that-was-broken, sealling the deal by kissing the blade so her lips bleed, them kissing Aragorn and Boromir's mouths to give her blood to them, and they kiss each other's mouths so a pact of loyalty between the. with Arwen's blood is made.
First: a reminder that this version of Arwen is portrayed as a 13 year old child kissing the mouth's of two grown man.
Second: i have seen some excuses as for why someone's shipp can't simply kiss, but that complicated road to Aragorn and Boromir kissing takes the award of the most unecessarily convoluted excuse of all.

ooh for the askgame, arwen and also legolas =)
OOOO Arwen!!! :D
Sexuality Headcanon: She may be married to the most heterosexual man in the world but i am a firm believer that Arwen has kissed a girl before! I think she’s bisexual :)
Gender Headcanon: I think she’s firmly comfortable in labelling herself as a woman!
A ship I have with said character: Ofc her and Aragorn <3
A BROTP I have with said character: HER AND BILBO. I REALLY believe that her and bilbo got along very very well while he stayed there and that she considers him a good friend :) Arwen and Bilbo supremacy!!!!!
A NOTP I have with said character: I think I’ve seen her and Glorfindel being shipped before?? that was a bit strange but i cant think of anything else so yeah that ship probably
A random headcanon: I headcanon she gets migranes! Just makes sense to me :) Although elves don’t really suffer human conditions her human side gets the better of her in this regard!
General Opinion over said character: I love her a lot, I definitely wish there was more content of her Not as Aragorn’s wife if that makes any sense. Like I wish her identity outside of loving Aragorn was explored more!
LEGOLAS!!!!! 🤍⭐️🌿🏹🧚🌿⭐️🤍
Sexuality Headcanon: Gay. But a victim of comp-het! Just like Gimli I think it took Legolas a while to figure out the reason he wasn’t interested in anybody around him was because he hadn’t met the right dwarf yet :) Basically what I mean is that him discovering his feelings towards Gimli definitely led to him having a sexuality crisis.
Gender Headcanon: Once again I think elves are outside the gender binary but Legolas fully embraces this. I think he’s non-binary. Like he’s okay with the role as Prince and such but I headcanon that in formal attire and things of that sort it is almost impossible to tell what gender he is. Legolas doesn’t care what gender people see him as and doesn’t bother defining himself by anything either :)
A ship I have with said character: OBV GIMLI. him and Gimli are the blueprint ‘enemies’ to friends to lovers. nobody does it like they do it 🔥
A BROTP I have with said character: Obviously Gimli!!! I do believe they are best friends. But besides that of course him and Aragorn, I think besides Gimli Aragorn is the closest thing to a best friend he has! Also this is totally a headcanon but I think after the war of the ring he and Frodo got along pretty well in a very sort of casual sense. Also him and Arwen are casual friends as well :) espc after the war of the ring!
A NOTP I have with said character: As we all know from that one post of mine: LEGOLAS X ARAGORN. i am so sorry i know it’s a really popular ship but listen okay we are all much older now, we know better. the elf is fucking the dwarf. aragorn is the straightest man this world has ever seen.
A random headcanon: Oh god I have SO MANY… I headcanon that despite refusing to be a tragic character Legolas is a little bit of a sadder person. If this makes ANY SENSE FKFJJS. Like he’s totally that one friend who is super positive and funny and lightens up everybody’s mood but when you find out their backstory you’re like DAMN. HOW ARE YOU HAPPY?! Also I headcanon that the reason Legolas is so silly is because he is a raised by a village sort of child! His community helped raise him :D and they definitely supported and encouraged his more silly antics! Especially after his mothers death, I could go on for a while about this but I’ll stop here FKFJDJ there’s soooo much I could say about that.
General Opinion over said character: I LOVE LEGOLAS. Love him, I really do. As someone who will crack a joke no matter what situation i’m in, his silliness enduring in the face of evil is so relatable!!!

Hi! How are you? I saw you're taking request for lotr characters, and was wondering if you could please (if it's not too weird haha) write something Legolas x fem reader. Where the reader is Aragorn and Arwen's daughter, or something like that.
Maybe as a child she always said she would marry the prince elf once she was old enough to and everyone laughed it off.
But after years of not seeing each other they meet again. Maybe for a brand new adventure. The reader being Aragorn's daugther joins him and the others. And that's when Legolas sees her as a woman for the first time and falls for her...
How would Aragorn react to this? lol
Sorry if this was wayyy too especific. It was an idea I had in mind, but i'm too shit at writing haha.
Thank you so much!
Hey anon I’m really sorry but this falls into the category of things I’d be a bit uncomfortable writing (general weirdness with the whole daughter x father’s friend thing) so I don’t think I will fulfill your request :( please please send another though!! I really do want to write for Legolas, so if you have any other scenarios or ideas I would be happy to write them!
