Horror novel recs?
I’m going into the city bookshop that actually has a horror section tomorrow and feel like picking up some new spooky reads so - any recs? I love horror written by women - Shirley Jackson, Christina Henry, April Genevieve Tucholke and Marieke Nijkamp are some of my faves - but I’ll try anything that’s kind of slasher-y or has a haunted house
(please don’t rec me Stephen King, Darcy Coates or Silvia Moreno-Garcia - I’ve tried their books, I don’t like them)

This is the anon who sent the dr namjoon ask about how much I love your writing style! Pleaseee don’t be insecure about it I literally LOVE that descriptive writing style so much. In highschool I was obsessed with this one young adult fiction book “between the devil and the deep blue sea” by April Genevieve Tucholke. She uses a similar descriptive style and I was literally obsessed with that book throughout highschool. She’s won awards for her books too! Also if you’ve heard of the Goldfinch it’s by a famous author Donna Tartt and she’s won the Pulitzer- she also uses a similar descriptive style. You’re work is amazing and we’re so lucky that we get to see you grow as a writer with our very own eyes (pun intended) 💕💕💕 -AK
I 😭 haven't heard of those actually but now I really want to check them out, thank you 😭💕
you're so sweet and I have no idea what to say dhdhdhdh thank you so much, I'm so lucky to have you guys and you're the ones who help me grow through this blog. I love you 💖
