"Tao là băn khoăn. Tao xuất phát từ tác phẩm "Ly Tao" của Khuất Nguyên thời Đông Chu Liệt Quốc, Trung Quốc.

Nhã là mềm mại, dịu dàng, cân đối. Nhã xuất phát từ "Kinh Thi" với 2 phần trong đó là ĐẠI NHÃ và TIỂU NHÃ.

Tao nhã là sự băn khoăn mềm mại, tinh thần của tư duy phản biện.

Bao lâu anh không băn khoăn thì anh đừng làm khoa học. Ta phải luôn cảnh giác, có thể người khác đúng thì sao.

Truyện kiếm hiệp có câu: núi Thái Sơn trước mắt mà không thấy, không có mắt xanh để nhìn ý kiến khác.

Khi "tư duy phản biện", phải chăng ta không được phẫn nộ? Phẫn nộ là cần thiết để ta không nhu nhược, ba phải nhưng vẫn phải giữ được tinh thần "tao nhã" - băn khoăn mềm mại của "tư duy phản biện".

Khi ta phẫn nộ thì rất có thể ta sẽ gây ra vết thương cho người khác. Nếu muốn vết thương không thành sẹo thì phải có sự nhã-mềm mại trong việc tiếp thu ý kiến, có tình có lý, trang nghiêm. Tránh voi chẳng xấu mặt nào.

Nói tóm lại, "tư duy phản biện" sẽ dẫn ta đến sự tao nhã, khiêm nhượng, cẩn trọng, tôn trọng người khác."
