"I can't believe the whole team just broke up post season 7 and now only talk once a year"

wrong they just spent years constantly trying to stop the world from ending and never having any time for their lives outside of SHIELD. They're now each taking a few years to pursue their own lives-- this is super healthy!!!

daisy isn't going to be in space forever. it's like a sibling going off to college. fitz and simmons are first time parents contending with a toddler. and coulson earned that sabbatical. especially in these first few years after season 7, getting all of them in the same room is nearly impossible. even real families and friendgroups have phases like that! and it's clear from their conversation that they all have been talking regularly in-between anyways and making future plans.

so in three years? five years?

you're telling me fitzsimmons don't enlist may's help with babysitting? mack, elena, coulson, and may hanging at the end of the day to talk SHIELD gossip? (without the pressure of the world on the line!) piper and davis rallying the group to throw a "welcome back to earth" party for the astro ambassadors when they return?!

all of them took time away from the group before, why would this be any different? they're still friends, they're still in the same field, they just have lives outside of SHIELD now!!! and that's a good thing, that's the good ending!

Can't stop thinking of the tragedy of agents of shield and how yeah you can find your found family in a spy organisation but due to the nature of the work it's almost always bound to end in tragedy.

Daisy connected with Ward and he used her and betrayed her.

Fitz was her family and friend for 4 seasons only to end up using and betraying her and dying without any resolution, unlike Ward who she at least got closure with via shooting him.

Simmons was one of the people she trusted most for 4 and a half seasons, "us against the world" until the trauma warped Simmons to the point she could only focus on Fitz and would warp and justify anything to continue loving him. And unlike Fitz she didn't die so there was just this undercurrent for the rest of the show like I still love you and would die for you but I can't trust you the same anymore because I know you would take your husband's side no matter what he did to me. Sometimes it's just the two of us and it's like nothing's changed and other times you're selfish and self centered and willing to sacrifice everyone around you for Fitz. I want it to be us against the world but it isn't anymore. You chose and so even though I love you I need to move on.

Coulson loved Daisy so much. They were the central relationship of the show. But he died, and he's gone and it wasn't fully his choice but it's still one more original team member she's lost.

And then there's May. The final original member, the one Daisy had the hardest time connecting with initially. And now it's just the two of them. May stood by her and May died protecting her and May came back and is still there, just a phone call away. Daisy is off in space, doing what she does best in the face of a lifetime of suffering. She's fighting the good fight and helping people who need it and she's got a partner and a sister who she can trust and with no bad blood remaining.

But if they go back to earth for a pit stop or homesickness or for any other reason, she'll have May waiting for her. Daisy went from alone to the one on her team now with the most roots, a mother and a brother waiting for her every time she comes home to earth. Maybe four out of five times putting your hope and found family heart into your shady spy organisation coworkers ends in tragedy. But maybe that one time it doesn't makes it all worth it.

This year I'm so busy that I had to keep it simple, so a little cute drawing of my family au that I have in my head for +5 years 🤗

This AU is yeaaars in the making and I'm not a 100% confident of it to write of draw about it (but i my birthday and I want to indulge myself) if you want to know more: under the cut

SO, in this AU Jim and Spock have a one night stand and Jim ends up pregnant, Jim goes to Spock but he doesn't let Jim have a say bcs he heard rumors (Spock is kind of an ass in the beginning)

bullet points bcs Idk how to write it all:

✨Jim gets so offended that he decided not tell him and go to the Vulcan embassy for help, there with time he meets T'Pol and T'Pau that are great help

✨Every event is pretty the same for the movie so I just make some sneaks here and there of his life with his baby.

✨Bones and Gaila are godparents of that baby (I don't have a specific name for her, like I'm between Alice or T'Shanik)

✨Spock gets involve after the events of the Narada, Amanda is still alive (bcs I said so), he loves her so much but Jim still wary of him but he lets him form a bond with her.

✨Everything is the same in Into the Darkness, Jim dies and resuscitates, here I diverge in 2 AUs one were Jim and Carol have David and one they doesn't and part ways in both (their canon event)

✨Spock really tries with Uhura (She loves the kid too), but in Beyond they just broke up.

✨Jim settles on earth and takes a teaching position while they are making the Enterprise-A, and Spock does too, they live in the same building or neighborhood.

✨They fall in love (with the help of their daughter and crew, bcs they are pretty dumb) and they get married and have another child, another daughter that is a menace, but she's an story for another day

That's pretty much the AU, very cliche and fluff and angst that I haven't written.

How do you differentiate between dragons that have the water element and those that have the fire element? I assume that Ao Guang's family would technically be dragons that can use only water. And according to jttw, dragons can control the weather (clouds, water, etc.). However, how do you know which dragons can control fire? Or can be assumed that all dragons can handle these two elements? Or a sea dragon that controls water couldn't control fire?

I guess I would ask you what makes you think dragons can control fire? I know that European dragons that it’s a common connection to their folklore, but Chinese dragons are connected to water such as rivers, oceans, and rain. I don’t think I’ve seen Chinese dragons that control fire if it wasn’t connected to the weather in some way.

Like I'm sure there are but I guess I don't understand what makes you think that dragons would have a fire element instead of a water element. Can you give an example from maybe like a story or something? I've read a lot of chinese tales but certainly not ALL so it would be cool to see how other tales could show dragons in a different light.
