Do you know if the end to Romione’s “Fire and Ice” from Redblaze is available anywhere? The fic on AO3 from The Quidditch Pitch archive isn’t complete. The author had a link on Livejournal but it doesn't work. I know it's a long shot as their last entry was in 2011, but you’ve worked wonders before with finding romione fanfictions.
Yes. I have the pdf of the whole fic. I read that fanfic a year ago. I don't remember the ending because Ron cheating on Hermione is a concept I despise (and vice versa).
things I remember that they were training for some upcoming war, they were in a relationship, Ron cheated on her with lavender???? I forgot. But he was drunk and some shit like that. Hermione started dating an uninteresting geeky guy and they were lacking passion. Somehow she started having an affair with Ron behind his back?? Then they broke up. Hermione didn't want anything to do with Ron after the cheating and she only wanted physical relationship lol. Rest I don't remember how it ended. I think Hermione finally accepted Ron's apology and admitted she was in love with him.
The whole fic was very complicated and idk why Hermione forgave him(I would never). But I do remember the fic was very hot lmao

VERDICT: Oh my word you guys. You KNOW how I feel about wips and abandoned fics in particular so tell me how I somehow completely forgot that this fic doesn’t have an end- and yet I still enjoyed it enough to say READ IT. How?! Well I guess visuals like an 18 year old shirtless Ron frantically trashing his room looking for something until Hermione walks in and he realizes .... her - will hook me every time. The author is incredible such that it doesn’t feel like you’re reading it but experiencing it. (Though it’s a bit of a rocky first chapter with an odd R/hr dynamic and incorrect facts Ron is NOT older than Hermione, but it soon picks up steam, both figuratively and metaphorically.) So really, go read it, and then come back and talk to me about it because I live for fic chat.
*2nd WARNING* chapter 9 is explicit Hinny and I feel like I need to wash my eyeballs out. So do a fast skim of that if it’s not your cup of tea (feels like I’m reading about my little brother and sister getting all icky together- probably channeling my inner Ron, but I cannot read it.)

It happens at quite literally the worst moment. Not only because it’s the first time in about three months Ginny’s been able to smile, but also because she’s surrounded by 30,000 people while the bases are loaded and Mike Lawson just stepped up to the plate.
The world flickers and in an instant she understands what her teacher meant when she told their class that the sky was blue and the grass was green, because they’re both stretched out before her seat in the stands. A vibrantly lush green field bisected by the fine silty dirt she now recognizes as brown. And above, a massive light blue sky, shot through with puffy white clouds.
