I'M GLAD YOU ASKED. I was actually ruminating over what Sev's room/apartment, in particular, would look like the other day.

Seven's room is very dark to me. Black walls, a lot of band posters plastered everywhere. It's a mess but an organized mess. Very much what a music enthusiast's room would look like in a 2000s teen movie lol. They've never grown out of the 'fanboy/fangirl' phase so they'd just have posters all over, they have a dresser of vintage records on one side and a mirror full of photo booth pictures and photos of their life tacked to it. Their bed is never made, mostly because Seven is always in bed when they're home. Seven has clothes strewn just about everywhere but they claim to know where everything is. A lot of ripped-out pages of scrapped out song lyrics on the floor. My imagination of Seven's songwriting process is a lot of pacing, a lot of humming. They get their best ideas while doing other stuff like cleaning and cooking. Outside of their room, their apartment is also messy with a lot of novels strewn about. Seven is very sentimental so every gift they've ever gotten is on display. Their bathroom is clean but messy; just a lot of hair products and makeup everywhere. Seven's "I just rolled out of bed" look is a stylistic choice lmao

I can imagine Sev being a very annoying neighbor to have since they always have music on and they're always singing. Seven has never actually cleaned their place quickly because of all the times they stop to have a mini concert in their living room. Seven is fun when they're alone lol

Orion's is expectantly clean and very minimalist. His room is barren, a plain black bed with a metal headboard. He always has incense burning and has an air purifier and a lot of tech. Everything is spotless and there's not anything out of place. Orion's place is a lot of dark furniture, a lot of leather, and a lot of gray and white in terms of looks. He has a large glass balcony that he likes to do work on in the mornings. I imagine him to have a large closet with all just suits on one side and just...straight up black clothes on the other. Orion isn't one to wear anything colorful. His neighbors love him and want to connect with him but Orion is not interested lol More than a few times he'd come home and just plops himself on his couch and falls asleep due to how tired he was.

Sebastian's home is large but sparsely decorated. He has a big TV to play his video games on and it's what you'd think is a stereotypical young guy's place: brown couch, some video game memorabilia, and some sports stuff. He has a huge gamer computer setup he built himself. He uses it for games and for coding and general data stuff. Sebastian likes displaying all of his goodies and stuff and he doesn't touch Maya's room, which is much like Seven's in that it's super cluttered with music stuff and posters. Sebastian's house is what a default sims house looks like: nothing stylish, just generic furniture.

Victoria and G's is luxurious that leans more to anything that they like they just toss it in there. Huuuuge with plushy colorful couches and overpriced designer furniture. OH! If anyone has seen Cara Delevigne's AD...that's what their house would look like. Just chaotic everywhere with so many knickknacks and things that it's like an assault on your every single sense. Funky wallpapers, leopard rugs. A lot of that, surprisingly, is G's doing. G was very set on designing their house. They're barely home and live mostly in hotels anyway so it doesn't really matter.

August's is pretty generic; gray walls, purple bed. They live with their family (August was supposed to live with a roommate but I changed it to better fit their route) and Clare tends to be the messy one. I would say August's room is half and half, it's pretty empty but what they do have takes up a lot of space like their drum set and their huge speakers. The house is big (August's parents are pretty well-off as politicians) and very Grecian in appearance. August doesn't have much knickknacks and things like Seven. They're pretty detached to sentimental things like that. It's a very standard room, the centerpiece definitely being their drums. They have a huge computer set up, though, like a gamer set up like Seb's but they don't use it for games lmao

As per special request by @mk-writes-stuff because I love these guys ever so much, here's a crash course on...

Illari Changelings!

Changelings in my setting are something like big amoebas. They're person-sized unicellular organisms and use a complex set of neuron-like organelles to act as a nervous system. To change their shape and hue, they have many chromatophore plastids along their membrane and a network of specialized cilia on the back of their headfins and armfins that change form to make the structure of any face they take. They are eukaryotic and can reproduce either aesexually through mitosis or sexually by way of specialized plasmids, should they take on a shape with sexual characteristics, which their true form lacks. Without a mouth or digestive tract, they eat by way of phagocytosis and dispose of what little waste they produce in the form of a slick mucus that coats their membrane.

The origin of the species is shrouded in mystery. However, it is doubtlessly connected to the Fair Folk and their Next-Door Land. The Fair Folk are notorious for experimenting with the line between magic and life, and it has been shown that there is some magical element involved in a changeling's transformation abilities.

A changeling has the ability to take the form of any humanoid being, real or imagined, though some are more skilled at making up faces than others. Here's a sketch showing how that transformation happens.

The facial elements form first on the back of the headfins, which then wrap around to the front. In a shifted form, a changeling is as rigid as any human. However, they don't have bones and are basically just a big sac of cytoplasm, so when in their true form, they often revert to a more liquid state, usually when they're relaxed or sleeping. This ability to turn liquid actually makes them rather difficult to injure with blunt weapons, if you can even hit the slippery creature in the first place.

Unfortunately for them, a changeling often ends up exploited for their abilities, either as a prostitute or a spy. In the elven lands of Skysheer and Nabafyr, they have a tradition of keeping changelings as court freaks. I won't get into the gory details, but their treatment would be very similar to the historical treatment of court dwarfs. The prejudice against changelings is very strong in those elven lands due to frequent Fair Folk meddling. Though most changelings have never so much as seen one of the Fair Folk, elves lump changelings in with the terrifying entities that appear on pale nights to steal away children and poison crops. Many changelings hide their nature due to this. If they're lucky, they can find a community of other changelings to rely on. Most aren't this lucky, though, and never meet another person like themselves. It's no surprise that most changelings are reluctant to disclose their identities even to close companions.

On that depressing note, here's some changeling art! The one with more jagged headfins is my dnd character, Gris, who is a bit older, hence the rougher appearance. Elsind is the one with the smoother headfins, and you can't see it because colors scare me, but they have a more purple hue compared to Gris. Generally, changelings are purple, pink, or red, with a slimy texture to their membrane.

They also, of course, do the owl thing with their headfins, where they puff up to look all big when they're nervous.

Have three absurd theories!

Alright, you know how everyone thinks that Charlie is possessing the Puppet? WRONG! Unless she's possessing two things at once. Which might be possible? But also, maybe the Puppet is the Mimic and just thinks it's her but that's really a whole different argument that I've brought up before. Anyway.

Let's start with the ✨aesthetic✨ reason. Charlie's sprite is grey and black, we see black present on the classic Phone Guy phone. BUT! Even more importantly, we see blue as the main color. Blue happens to be right next to green on the color wheel. The transition from green to blue signifies how Charlie was forced to change. Green is a color of tranquility, nature, hope, and even lack of experience. Blue is mercy, trust, and mourning. Phone Guy shows the player mercy by helping keep them safe despite the fact that they look similar to William, the player has to trust Phone Guy, and of course there's reason for Charlie to mourn after her death.

There's also the fact that the animatronics only come to life once the Puppet helps. So how would the Puppet come to life on its on? It didn't, it had Charlie possess the phone in hopes she'd be able to spread the word of what happened, but her memories ended up all messed up and Puppet painted blue tears on themself in honor of Charlie. Funky death stuff also messed up her voice. Also, Puppet put Charlie in the phone because she was apparently the last to die and even Golden Freddy was taken as far as animatronics go.

It is also mentioned how Charlie cares for others and protects them, like Phone Guy protects the night guards. She also reassures the player because she knows Mike can't die. There's also the fact that even after the "death" of Phone Guy on night 4 he can still talk on night 5. This is because it was just Charlie watching someone else die.

FNaF 4 phone is another toy used by William Afton. Purple eyes and it watches Evan, the eyes follow him. The same way Fredbear is meant to transmit sound, the toy phone transmits visuals.

And this is one I’ve posted before, but it was before I met you. Why exactly are The Puppet and Baby (possibly also Ballora but that’s not today’s can of worms) more intelligent than everyone else? The Puppet quite literally says “the others are like animals, but I am very aware.” It’s always been an interesting line to me since I heard it. Because it doesn’t make sense.

What makes Puppet and Baby so much more intelligent? Why are they capable of logical reasoning most of the others probably wouldn’t know how to use a doorknob? Maybe there’s some explanation having to do with their emotional state or something, but may I propose that it’s because both were AI?

We know that Circus Baby was an AI, as well as the fact that she most likely had some form of sentience before being possessed by Elizabeth. If William was capable of creating sentient AI, we have no reason to believe Henry wasn’t either.

Not to mention Puppet never acted like a normal animatronic. Yes, they were programmed to protect Charlie, but actually leaving the building and lying down with her after she was murdered? That seems like it goes beyond the realm of programming into sentience.

If both robots already had some sentience, it would make sense why they act more ‘alive’ after possession.

There’s a decent chance I’ve been able to convince you that Puppet is an AI by now, even if I don’t have rock solid evidence. But that’s still pretty different from flat out being the Mimic.

You know how it’s likely at least a few scrap pieces of metal survived the Pizzeria Sim fire to make Glitchtrap? You know how the pizzeria still exists under the PizzaPlex? You know how there’s a ton of symbolism of not necessarily the Puppet, but of Nightmarionne? You know how Nightmarionne is a version of the Puppet that seems a lot more sinister? You know how the only STAFF bots that can kill you are Nightmarionne designed? You know how we never actually see any version of the Puppet beyond plushies? You know how some believe Edwin and is a Henry parallel? You know how Puppet and Mimic were both made to take care of a child and would inevitably be hated when they failed to protect them?

Look, all I’m saying is that maybe after Charlie moved on (or her soul got corrupted if you want to add some more flavor) the Puppet’s AI either went a bit kooky or got Glitchtrapped.

Opinion: SA1's OST is at the very least top 3 in the whole franchise, and its rich art direction is only matched by '06's music.

(Not sure about the art direction part, but only because there's a lot of OSTs where I'd praise the direction in addition to those two lol.)

Despite the fact that I'm pretty sure I've made top 5 or 10 Sonic OST posts in the past, it's never permanently set in stone because I love too many of them for my own good. Even so, SA1 and '06's OSTs will definitely always be in the top category for me... along with the Advance trilogy. And Mania. And Heroes. And CD. And...

Anyway, as you know, SA1's impressive variety is an integral ingredient to why I cherish it so much. I love the nostalgia of Station Square. I love the intrusive fuck you energy of Eggman's leitmotif. I love the melancholy of Gamma's theme. I love the feel good whimsy of Windy Hill, the excitement of At Dawn, the casual rock of Mechanical Resonance, the mystique of Tricky Maze, the manic pacing of Sky Deck's tracks, the sheer contrast between Red Mountain's tracks, the unconventional funkiness of Crazy Robo... even ambient tracks like Snowy Mountain are very memorable and impactful. I can't think of a single track that I struggle to remember.

SA1's aesthetic and vibes (I hate that I now have to specify I don't mean in the shallow way when I use those terms) are already among the best in the series on their lonesome, but just like with a certain purple dragon, the music goes a long way to elevating the atmosphere even further. Nothing is compromised, nothing is shortchanged, it's just a satisfying blend of everything Sonic music has to offer.

To Be Alive (FNAF SB fanfic) C1 - Birthday Bash

In summary:

At long last, the thrilling continuation of 'To Be Human'! There are more shenanigans for Star and co to get up to, and new horrors to be subjected to! Not to mention, Eclipse is still at large and up to no good... As 'To Be Human' is a self contained stand-alone story, one could very well choose to leave the adventure as is! Considering there are some heavier themes in this one (biggest thing here being death, specifically) that's exactly what I would recommend you do if you like everything very much the way it ended in 'To Be Human'. This story is an exploration of a few ideas I wanted to work with left over from the first story, and a way to tie up some very minor loose ends, as well as a return to some characters and a world I had a lot of fun with.

Things To Know:

Reader insert! Y/N is not used and gender is not specified, though the reader does have a blorbo-appointed name (Star)

Non-specified relationships between reader and Sun & Moon, this can be read as pals, family, partners, whatever you like, totally up to your interpretation

Chapter 1 | Chapter 2

C1 - Birthday Bash

     It was a lovely day, as far as days go. They didn't go too far, at least for you. In your mind you knew the days were meant to be longer. There were also supposed to be seasons, but in your many days living here, the climate had stayed consistent. No winters to hibernate from, no spring time to usher in new growth after the cold. Some nights were colder than others, and Sun and Moon told you different parts of the planet were much different than others, rainforests and deserts and mountains and plains. You wanted to travel and see these places, maybe find more ruins and artifacts along the way, but travel between communities was dangerous, with the creatures you all shared the world with these days. And so the only traveling you really did was into town.

     The long half-day walk between the shelter and the outer edge of town was more or less second nature to you at this point. Moon liked to remind you that the forest was still dangerous, and you shouldn't let the familiar become comfortable. You would argue that the comfort of being in your element, familiar with your surroundings, made you much better at keeping an eye out for danger and irregularities. Sun, meanwhile, was keeping an actual eye out while you and Moon bickered.

     Sunshine warmed your skin between gaps in a pale green canopy. Dark purple dirt was loose and soft beneath your shoes, though still slightly soggy from last night's rain. You kicked a rock and smiled gratefully down at your shoes- you'd found them on your latest expedition down into the catacombs. They were definitely too big for your feet, but after stuffing some leaves in there they were just fine.

     The three of you made it to the city in great time. Patchwork buildings came into sight as you stepped past the tree line. It was always fun to try and spot subtle changes and differences in the buildings, as bots repaired old structures and developed new ones.

     You pulled up your hood and pocketed your hands as you reached the street, worn and cracked and packed full of weeds. The edge of town here was never busy, especially since the race track was off on the opposite side of the city, but you felt better with the hood anyways.

     You started to walk ahead as the three of you made your way down familiar alleyways and along back walls.

     "Don't go running off," Moon warned.

     You stuck your tongue out at Moon. You debated running off briefly just to annoy them, but decided against it. You were starting to get another headache, and running around getting into trouble certainly wouldn't help that. You wanted to get to the repair shop anyways. Everyone there was always happy to see you. Bonnie and Freddy were always nice to you, and sometimes even let you help out around the shop with Chica.

     Finally, the three of you made it to the repair shop. You knocked on the door as Moon and Sun caught up with you. Monty opened the door, and the three of you filed inside, familiar dim neon lights washing over you.

     "Star!!"

     You grinned wide as Bonnie and Freddy greeted you fondly. They were both behind the counter, where Foxy had laid out their latest haul. Chica and Roxy were hanging out here in the front room as well, having been in the middle of their own conversation when you'd walked in.

     "There's my little buddy!" Monty grinned and poked you after shutting the door behind you.

     You poked him back. "Hi!"

     "How are the three of you? Was the walk into town alright?" Freddy asked.

     "It was pleasantly uneventful," Moon replied. They were avoiding looking at Bonnie, who was avoiding them right back. It seemed the two of them had come to some sort of tentative 'you don't talk to me and I don’t talk to you and we'll just be polite in shared company' agreement.

     "That's good to hear. There's been a few reports of wild animal attacks lately around this side of town, so be sure to stay safe. No wandering off alone or anything like that." Bonnie looked pointedly at you.

     "Anyways." You pointedly did not meet Bonnie's gaze. "How are you all?"

     "Things have been much the same since your last visit. All is still well! Roxy remains our top client, of course," Freddy said.

     "This place remains to be the best in town." Roxy shrugged.

     Bonnie folded his arms over the counter. "Even so, we're pretty far out of the way for you here. We sure do appreciate you coming by to see us, especially for just a check up."

     "Yeah, well, I need to make sure I'm in good condition for my next race. You're all coming to watch me, right?" Roxy asked. She looked at Chica, despite directing the question towards everyone.

     "Of course we will! You're our favorite racer, after all," Chica said with a wink. She turned her attention to you and Sun and Moon as Roxy's tail started to wag. "You three are just in time, we just finished up here for the day! You could come watch the race with us if you want!"

     You'd only seen the last half of one race before, though you could remember it clearly and fondly. You'd had an absolute blast. "Yes yes yes yes yes!"

     Sun smiled at you. "We'd love to, thank you!"

     "So long as we stay out of sight," Moon said.

     "On that note, still no word on Eclipse, I'm afraid," Foxy chimed in. "I've been keepin' an ear out for any news. Haven't heard a thing, but that doesn't mean they've left town just yet."

     "Right. I still think it's safer to assume they're still looking for us." Moon sighed. "Thank you, Foxy."

     "Not a problem, matey." Foxy gave Moon a salute with their hook.

     "Forget about that fool. If Eclipse ever shows their stupid face around these parts again I'll take care of em." Monty threw a fist into his palm, the metal making a loud 'TONK' sound.

     You gave Monty's arm an appreciative pat. You knew that if you ever saw Eclipse again, you'd be the one 'taking care' of them. There was no way you'd let them hurt Sun and Moon, or any of your friends for that matter.

     "In other news," Sun started, setting a hand on your shoulder, "since its been roughly a year since Star's activation, that means its their birthday!"

     "Birthday?? What's that?" Monty looked at you curiously.

     "It's a human thing! Everyone gets a birthday. It's a celebration, once a year, every year, to celebrate the day you were born, and your continued life," you explained to everyone. "I'm not sure exactly how long its actually been, and I also wasn't exactly born, but being created in a lab is close enough."

     "Aw, what a fun idea!!" Bonnie smiled. "I'm happy to celebrate our good friend Star coming into our lives."

     "I agree!" Freddy laid his arm over Bonnie's shoulders. "You're a bright spot in all our lives, super-star." He smiled kindly at you.

     "Thank you," you said quietly, unsure what to do with the kind words but enjoying them immensely none the less.

     "How do humans usually celebrate birthdays?? Is there anything special we can do for ya?" Foxy asked.

     "You usually just get all your friends together and have a good time, so we're already covered!" you said. "There's also supposed to be gifts and decorations and a cake, but its not strictly necessary."

     "Oh! Well I don't know about decorations or cake, but…" Foxy pulled off their bag and rooted around inside for a moment.

     You eyed them curiously and took a slow step closer.

     "I found something lately in those old ruins south of here… reminded me a lot of you! So I thought I'd give it to ya next time I saw ya." Foxy finally pulled out a strange sort of device. It looked to be made of wood at first glance, but upon closer inspection it was definitely far too shiny to be real wood. It only took a moment for your brain to recognize the object, another strange factual 'memory' clicking into place.

     Ukulele.

     "It seems kind of strange, small and unassuming at first, but…" Foxy plucked a few strings. Three light little notes struck you right through the heart. "It's really quite wonderful, once you get to understanding it a bit better!"

     "Ah??" You stared wide eyed at the instrument for a moment. You looked up at Foxy. Then back down. "Thank you! So much!!"

     Foxy held the instrument out to you, beckoning for you to take it. You tentatively grabbed it and turned it over a few times, studying it. Your brain was pretty quick these days to feed you information on human stuff, though sometimes it still took you a while. The information was like old memories, sometimes a little too faded to be of much use, more dream-like than anything. They weren't even really memories, just really good copies of memories and stored thoughts and facts. Sometimes things felt like déjà vu, like you'd experienced something before, even though you definitely hadn't. (Déjà vu being another little 'memory' you'd acquired a while ago upon experiencing the weird sensation for the first time. You'd asked Sun and Moon about it, but gathered that robots didn't seem to experience the same thing.) You pieced together enough to figure out how to hold the instrument, and how the little pegs the wires were attached to worked. Usually, you could intuit the rest of anything you couldn't 'remember' fully.

     You brushed a thumb over the strings, making all four strings sing at once. The notes were a little unorganized -out of tune- but the noise they made was downright magical. It was the feeling of something soft under your hand, but sound. It felt like you'd found something you didn't even know was missing. Some crucial part of you that you'd neglected and was now alive, woken by the sound of mismatched chords.

     "Music," you murmured. "Oh. This is wonderful."

     "I'm glad you like it!" Foxy grinned.

     You hugged Foxy, who laughed lightly and pat your back.

     “I’m not the only one who’s got a little something for ya, either!” Foxy looked at Monty.

     Monty stiffened and shuffled his feet. “Oh, uh. No, actually, I don’t know…”

     "You have something for me too??" You poked Monty excitedly.

     Monty looked away, clearly embarrassed. "It's not as good as Foxy's thing…"

     "I wouldn't rank gifts. I'm just happy to have gotten gifts in the first place. I'm sure whatever it is I'm going to love it!" you assured.

     Monty hesitated. He glanced down at you, then sighed. "Well… alright. Here." He popped open a compartment on his arm and pulled out a small assortment of pens, as well as a funny little book.

     Upon inspection, the pens were still full of ink, each a different color. And the book was full of blank paper, pages and pages of it, edges rough and torn and bound with clumsy hands but still threaded together securely. The pages were blank, except for the very first, where a very crude and simplistic doodle of two figures holding hands had been drawn with the words 'best friends' scrawled above them. One of the figures was green and twice as big as the other, who appeared to be smiling.

     "From what I know about humans, you guys like to draw and color… Or at least, the ones in the catacombs did. So I thought… maybe you’d like to be able to draw. So I went out with Foxy and put this together," Monty explained.

     You stared down at the notebook and pens, holding them carefully in your hands. You thought about the markings on the walls down in the catacombs, and you thought about all the things you could do and create with this. Just having somewhere to write down your thoughts was a wonder, you were constantly jealous of Sun and Moon and their inherent note databank stored right in their heads.

     You threw your arms around Monty in a big hug. "This is amazing. Thank you, Monty."

     Monty relaxed significantly as you hugged him. He pat your back. "You're welcome. Glad you like it."

     "I love it!!" you assured. "This is awesome! I should have had a birthday ages ago."

     Just then, Bonnie started beeping. "Oh! Sorry to interrupt," Bonnie said, quickly moving to sheepishly cover his ears with his hands. "I'm getting a transmission. Sounds like a general news broadcast."

     The beeping sound was sort of grating and definitely not helping your growing headache any. Even so, you were curious to hear what was on the news. Usually Bonnie didn't beep like that unless it was important.

     "Oh! It might be more updates from the scientist working on renewable energy," Freddy guessed, patting Bonnie's arm excitedly.

     This had everyone's attention. Bonnie straightened his ears back up as everyone gathered around the counter. His ears adjusted slightly, positioning the concave dishes inside just so. A moment of static punched through his speaker, and quickly faded into clear words.

     "Thank you for taking the time to interview with us today, I know you must be very busy," a high pitched voice said.

     "Thank you for having me," a quieter voice replied.

     "I wont take up too much of your time here so lets just get right into it," the higher pitched voice began. "We know you've been working on figuring out how to reconstruct renewable energy from human artifacts, machines that were once solar panels and wind turbines, to my understanding. My first question for you is, what kind of impact do you think your work will have on our society?"

     "Oh, yes, good question. Well, I, like many others, am of the opinion that a society that ties its currency to a vital need is aught to be rife with corruption. Power generating bots have been withholding batteries from those in need solely for the hopes of gaining riches and services in return, with no care at all for the bots suffering from these actions. Since we all depend on energy to function, to live, that puts these bots in a position of incredible power over everyone else. Over time these issues have gotten worse as certain bots accumulate more power, abuse their status, and continue to harm the rest of us."

     "You're a power producing bot yourself, are you not?" asked the high pitched voice.

     "I am indeed. Which is why I've been afforded the privilege of being able to work in my field as I have. The work that I and other scientists do isn't cheap, the research and development alone is costly as it is, but also taking into account things like acquiring building materials, hiring bots to help you travel to research sites, even hiring other more specialized scientists to help develop tech, there's a lot of things that add up. Beyond batteries, having connections is a whole other necessity to the field. But I'm getting off track here. To answer your first question, the reason I got into society and corruption is that I believe my work could very well render these corrupt power generating bots obsolete. With the work I'm doing, coupled with the work already done by other scientists expanding battery capacity and efficiency, we could power entire cities of bots with an extremely reasonable amount of resources. We could have battery chargers lining the streets, free to use, powered by reconstructed renewable energy machines and, if they want, power generating bots as well. We're also looking into developing unobtrusive body mods, so bots anywhere could charge their own batteries on the go with no effort, so long as they're in the sunlight or someplace windy."

     "Now wouldn't that be something? How much charge would you charge for such a mod?"

     The quiet scientist was quick to reply. "These modifications wouldn't cost anything, of course. The goal we're working towards here, ultimately, is the betterment of society. Any scientist worth their title would agree, we do what we do in the name of all of us. We work towards self betterment, community, mutual respect, the pursuit of knowledge, all in the name of our fellow bot. With my work I'm of course hoping to contribute to the greater good here."

     "I see, I see. That's all the time we have I'm afraid, we do appreciate you taking the time to talk with us, and for all of you listening in, don't forget to tune in to our regular program-"

     Bonnie's ears twitched as he ended the broadcast. "Well isn't that exciting!"

     You were grateful Bonnie had cut the closing rambling short, something about the one bot's high pitched voice had been really aggravating your headache.

     "Yeah!! Hey, is that true? Does being a scientist really cost that much?" Chica asked.

     Sun nodded. "It is. Moon and I wouldn't be able to do what we do if we weren't power generating bots."

     "The thing about having connections was true as well. That's why we needed Eclipse as an investor. They provided connections and materials we didn't have the first clue how to get access to on our own," Moon said.

     "That adds up. Of course you'd need networking help," Monty said with a teasing smile.

     Moon shot him a glare.

     "Can you imagine, getting a charge from the wind or the sun? My battery would fill up all on its own just while I'm racing!" Roxy said.

     "Aye, imagine all the space I'd have in my pack for artifacts if I didn't have to lug around spare batteries with me on trips," Foxy mused.

     "The new tech sure sounds exciting! It'd help out so many bots. No one would have to worry about running out of batteries anymore," Sun said.

     "It'd take bots like Eclipse down a peg as well," Moon added.

     "Good. Maybe we wouldn't even have to worry about them anymore," you said hopefully. You rubbed at your brow, trying to soothe your headache.

     "How are you feeling, Star?" Freddy asked, noticing the motion.

     "Oh, I'm alright, just a headache." You waved.

     "Another one? You've been having those headaches for quite a while now," Bonnie noted, sounding concerned.

     You noticed both Sun and Moon growing uncomfortably still beside you. Bonnie was right. Not only that, but the headaches had been getting worse, too.

Oh my god this one was so hard. There are only so many ways to shave your head and long hair on Tecna is the devil speaking. I will only tolerate it on pre-highschool Tecna. Yeah, that middle row is just Tecna though middle school. You can see her gauges get bigger. Piecing like this are super common on Zenith, and I don't think earlobes would be hard to repair with magic. So her getting them wouldn't be a big deal me thinks

Anyways on to my thought process

Standard Tecna: the way I usually draw Tecna with the shaved head. With a simple cyber top. Fun fact! At first I thought her head was shaved and her earrings were gauges before I really looked at her, and I thought the shaved head and gauges looked cooler so I kept them. Another fun fact, I was originally going to give Tecna cyber bite piercings, but I decided they didn't look all that good on her so I settled for the far weirder looking dimple piercings

Alternative: This one was also called "Misses steal yo girl". Hide your girlfriends and wives

Classic Tecna: Tecna's canon hairstyle. Nothing against this beauty. She's sleek, pretty, and classic for a reason. Hats off to you ma'am

S8 hair color: I've made it no secret that when making Tecna's hair violet or pink from her originally magenta, I'll pick pink every time. So I thought it would be funny to include the later seasons shade of purple hair that Tecna has as dyed hair for Tecna. This is baby baby Tecna right here, with the classic Tecna earrings, and no interesting piercings bc she's literally a baby. Outfits based on the Zenith outfits that one of my followers forcefully decided to shove at my eyes, whyyyyy

First shave: the one time I will allow long hair on Tecna. She's a baby and she's still learning her style, she's trying it out before she decides she hates it. This is her first time shaving her hair, and those are her step one gauges. Baby's first foray into being alt and she will never look back. Bonus extra shoulder outfit, for the vibes

The mullet: THE MULLET!!!!! this is right before she went to Alfea and got her signature style, bc she didn't think the mullet fit her personality well as a standard look but she loves the way it looks so dearly. Which is why her beloved mullet comes back in her Enchantix. The horrible mullet will never leave no matter how much you want it gone, she loves it and thats everyone else's problem. I had to include her amazing back to school outfit somewhere. Made it blue tho

School formal: the pixies cut I've always wanted to put on Tecna. It looks a amazing. Like I prefer the asymmetrical look bc it's more girlie looking??? Can't explain. But this is still super pretty. The flat side swept bangs is because I thought it would be funky to give Tecna bangs. It's a litt odd looking on her bc I'm used to her not having them but they don't look bad

Eraklyon ball: Extra pointy Tecna. I actually really like this for a fancy Tecna hair cut. But it's a whole new shaved hairstyle. Ig that wouldn't hard to deal with? Bc she could get her hair magically lengthen, reshave, and then do it again to put her back?? But that's a ton of work. It still looks p good imo tho

Shaved Tecna: I uh didn't have anymore hairstyles ;-; I had one final fucking hairstyle, and I didn't wanna do a pixie cut because I had already basically done that for the school formal or a undercut bc I wanted that one to be exclusive to Musa. So I gave up and shaved it. Plenty of alt bitches shave their head, it's fine, it's fine. Also yeah this space outfit from s8. Every now and then my eyes are assaulted with s8 images, wow images, and fate images, and I thought this outfit looked dope on Tecna so it can stay. She probably fucked up her hair in some way and decided to shave it all off. It will grow back soon

Venus doesn't really wear anything special when she's traveling, they mostly just stick to what they would usually wear but might tone it down on accessories and stuff that would get in the way! I don't really know how to categorize her style per se since she likes to switch it up but I would just say alt to be general. Lots of black with splashes of neon colors here and there (mostly purple). As for equipment, they are armed more often than not but nothing too extensive since they're more fond of the monowire.

Mars is maybe a bit more practical in his clothing when he's traveling and in general. He doesn't do much compared to Venus, at least until after the events of the game so he's never really felt the need to change. He's got the whole cowboy thing going for him anyway which is probably more practical than what Venus wears fdjsklf. As for equipment, he's not as prepared as Venus nor does he really have many high quality things. He mainly sticks with a revolver to defend himself but Venus eventually teaches him to use other things.

As said above, Venus is pretty fond of the monowire but knows that's not always practical so she carries around whatever she thinks will be best for what's coming. Though they're best with handguns, they can use pretty much anything. She'll usually have one in a holster or in her bag or something that's accessible.

Mars carries around a revolver that he's modified pretty heavily in a holster on his belt or he'll keep it in the back of his pants if he needs to be more discreet.

hair: How does your OC wear their hair? Does it have some kind of meaning?

They both mainly just wear their natural curls and take pretty good care of their hair! Venus usually ties her hair into a bun if it's getting in her face too much since it's pretty long and occasionally braids it but doesn't do much to it otherwise. They also like to keep a streak that's a funky color, usually neon pink or purple :^)

HAPPY TAMAVERSARY! Smart Anniversary Party Set

It's November 23, so you know what that means...new Anniversary Tamagotchi to celebrate the market release date of the original Tamagotchi 26 years ago! Once again we have a Smart set, though it's a bit more lavish and readily available than last years.

To recap, last year the white Tamagotchi Smart was available via lottery on Bandai's exclusive shopping site Premium Bandai and shipped at the very end of August 2022 (close to 3 months before the general release of the coral pink, mint green, and NiziU versions). It includes the 1997 Friends TamaSma Card that lets you raise 4 classic characters (Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, Nyorotchi, Oyajitchi) in their 1996 monochrome pixel stylings along with playing the good old "Left or Right" game. Come to think of it, I wrote a post about the unboxing!

Anyway, this year's theme is Anniversary Party, plus it's available at general retail so more fans will be able to get their hands on it. Let's see how it looks next to last year's package.

IT'S BIG! The added length and depth comes entirely from the character book added as a bonus. (For those who've never opened a Smart, it's a VERY tight fit in there!)

On one side of the package you've got your special artwork...last year's mimicked the original P1 Japanese packaging, while this year's features a big old party with cake, balloons, plus all the Smart adults and the 10 included on the TamaSma Card, including Ginjirotchi who was picked by fans in a poll a few months back! This year's is much more in line with the modern Tamagotchi branding...I personally remain a fan of the classics.

Time to look inside!

Character Special Book? Check. Anniversary Party TamaSma Card? Check. Smart unit and wristband? Check. Instruction booklet and charging cable? Check and check. (Between my Vital Bracelets and my Smarts I'm swimming in these tiny cables!)

Now let's get a look at the actual unit.

Oh that is SPARKLY! A gorgeous glittery gradient makes up the "faceplate", with the new Tamagotchi logo screened in white on the clear cover. Matched with the purple of the unit it's a true visual treat.

Taking a look at the unit without the wristband, it's an opaque cool purple shell. I'd call it closer to periwinkle than lilac if we're going by Crayola crayon colors. The printed buttons around the Home button aren't a perfect color match, having a bit more red to them. It bothers me a bit but honestly I'm so busy staring at the sparkles I doubt I'll care much once this review is gone.

The wristband itself has a jelly-like opacity to it and feels a little firmer than the standard strap. The clasp is a slightly darker purple that matches the unit's Home button, and features no printing.

As for the Special Character Book...?

It's a bit smaller than the books that have been released so far. I thought it would be similar to the character introduction section of January's "Special Book", but it's actually BETTER!

While the Special Book used the blue-outline "modern" art for classic characters up until the Connection series, this book uses the original artwork from "back in the day". Pixels and personality galore! Plus they have full rosters for Angel, Garden, Ocean, Devil, and Yasashii, which were only covered briefly in the special book.

PLUS it's got character descriptions for EVERYONE, even the funky dudes who were exclusive to Data CardDass cards and random town residents who I'm not sure have ever been featured like this before!

All non-collab (NiziU, Sanrio, Molcar, One Piece, Pixar) SmaCard characters are included up to September's Magical Change as well. (The Anniversary Party characters are introduced pretty early on, plus they were all in past versions anyway.)

The inner covers also feature past series art including the original package, 20th anniversary art, and more!

I wasn't expecting so much love and care to go into a such a small volume, but I've gotten a real sense that whoever is in charge of Tamagotchi cares greatly about the history of the brand. Professor Banzo and Mika-Chu even give a send-off on the back cover, thanking us for 25 years and hoping we'll continue to stick with them going forward.

Overall, a great set sure to please even the most nitpicky of fans. Here's to another 25 years!

Milky Way (APH OC)

At the request of @ilovemaryland345 I’ll be taking a look at a few OCs that they recommended to me. This is one of them. The other is the Confederate States, which I just hope is not as racist as it sounds.

Anyway, let’s get funky. 

Milky Way is a small loli-like girl in the universe. 

Reservations aside about making an OC for the entire fucking galaxy, why on earth would she be child sized? She’s literally billions of years old. I think a being that is chronologically that old would at least be adult sized.

Her mother would be Galaxy, 

Isn’t she the galaxy? She’s her own mother? Excuse me?

and her closest friend, Time. 

I don’t even have a proper reaction for that. All I can say is that an OC in Hetalia that is the very concept of time is utterly absurd. She’s her own mother and she is also best friends with Time. Right, got it.

Milky Way is the representation of the Milky Way. Another name for her is Dreamland.

Dreamland. 

She-- HUH?

Like I genuinely don’t know what the fuck to say to that. She, who is also the fucking galaxy, is also dreamland? What? How does that work? HOW? 

Appearance

Milky Way has dark purple hair with magenta ends. Her eyes are a magenta-pinkish colour, with little hearts in her eyes. Dreamland (It's a nickname, she is often called perfection and perfection can only be achieved in dreams hence the name Dreamland.) 

Wow, okay so just. A blatant Mary Sue. Also, no. I’m setting aside the absurdity of this OC for a few seconds to think logically, if that’s possible here. 

No Hetalia characters have unnaturally colored hair. They look like the country they represent, as in, what the largest population of people from that nation look like. They can’t even dye their hair. I just-- My brain is hurting. This is not an OC that works in Hetalia.

has her hair in bunches, most like Nyo!Canada's. Her magenta fringe hides most of her forehead. On top, she has a heartlike curl on the side of her head.

Personality

Milky Way is happy and optimistic person, who can be seen as annoying. Not many people are able to see her, and therefore is a dandere. 

Okay so that’s just not what a dandere is. A dandere is an antisocial, timid, and shy character who doesn’t express emotions very much. Think Hinata Hyuuga from Naruto or Shigeo Kageyama from Mob Psycho 100. Sure, Mob is cheerful enough, but he’s also not really an expressive person. The personality described above is an oxymoron, is all I’m saying.

She has no social experience outside of the magic trio. Since Italy (Galileo Galilei discovered the Milky Way, and he was from Italy.) had been the one to discover her, she has many traits from him such as being an optimistic person. Her salty side is never really shown, because she isn't fond if being savage like one of her founders. (Romano~).

Um, okay. That’s all I can say. Because I genuinely don’t know how to react to that. Galileo was indeed the first to see the Milky Way through a telescope, so I guess that could be a connection to Italy. However, as far as we know, billions of undiscovered worlds could be somewhere off in the galaxy, and I don’t know if us humans would’ve been the first to observe the galaxy. It just feels odd to me that she’d be so connected to Italy. I guess since he’s one of the main characters in Hetalia, but I dunno, something just bothers me about that.

Backstory/History

Milky Way used to be a depressed little ball of feelings. Her mother Galaxy never really had time for her, and so Milky Way was alone.

SHE IS THE GALAXY. MILKY WAY = GALAXY. IT IS CALLED THE MILKY WAY GALAXY. 

 (Her appearance at the time: short magenta-pink hair, with emotionless eyes. She was always so dull.)

Wait why the fuck would her appearance change?

One day, she saw the Earth. A small person was smiling up at her, with his telescope. That man was later known as Galileo Galilei. He ran to tell Italy, so was ecstatic. Romano, on the other hand, was not as excited.

Why? Why wouldn’t he think that was cool? 

When they came to see, Milky Way felt happy. She felt noticed. It was a nice feeling for her, and the first time she'd ever felt it. The Italies welcomed her with open arms, though she felt a little wistful in the country of Italy. Upon talking to her, the Italies realised she was not of Italia origin and wondered. They took her to the next World Meeting, asking anyone and everyone if they knew her. No one knew her of course, but they were intruiged by her.

Okay so that just doesn’t make any sense. She was discovered by Galileo, and Italy and Romano just assumed she was a part of Italy or of Italian origin? Why? Did Galileo just not tell them anything and let them assume he just found a piece of Italy floating off in space? Are they stupid? Did they physically go into space to speak to her? How did they get a message to her? 

This is fucking absurd, and I have so many questions.

Granted that not all of them trusted her or welcomed her with open arms like the Italies, she always loved the countries.

I thought Romano didn’t, but sure, okay.

Now she lives with her mother Galaxy, and comes to visit her good friends.

So the OC creator just is under the impression that the galaxy isn’t the same thing as the Milky Way. Did they mean to make this an OC for the Solar System? Because that would make so much more sense. It would still be silly, but less egregious. 

 (Italy & Romano, although Southern Italy never really grew found of her...)

But didn’t it just say they welcomed her with open arms? Did Romano just decide to lie about that?

She tries to make friends, but it never really works out.

With who? I mean, there could be some cool things done with this, if she was an OC for just the solar system. She could be acquainted with America, Russia, China, etc, because of the international space station. 

2P!talia/Cardverse/Nyotalia/2P!Nyotalia

Dreamland's 2P is a blonde haired gothic girl. Her pale blonde hair was in a short pixie cut, with electric blue eyes. She normally wears black clothing. Here's an example... [2]

She is extra salty, and rarely shows her sweet side. Being a kuudere character, she's quite popular with other countries because she is quite the mysterious character.

Milky Way has no comfirmed religion/ethnicity. (Although, I like to think of her as a Scientologist, believing in the Big Bang Theory etc.)

That... That isn’t what Scientology is. I also believe in the Big Bang Theory, but that doesn’t make me a Scientologist. Scientology is an actual cult. It isn’t just a religion based on facts and logic because it has ‘science’ in the name. 

Her relationship with Galaxy is kind of tattered.

Another few people she knows are Romania, Norway & England mainly because of their magic. America & Canada are also some acquaintances. Even though she has not spent that much time with France, she takes SOME of her personality from him.

What? Just... huh? Why? I reiterate my point from the beginning, the Milky Way is a galaxy that is billions of years old. I have no idea why she would look 11 years old, but the fact that it says she’s 31 is even more baffling. Where the fuck did that number come from?

Her birthdate is 2nd December, being a Sagittarius. (The Milky Way's constellation is Sagittarius.)

The-- Okay. Sure. But there are also so many more constellations aside from that one in the Milky Way. Because the Milky Way is a galaxy. Full of stars. 

Her full name is Daphne (Italian spelling is: Dafne) Dreamland. Her origin/ethnicity is unknown for the moment~ Dreamland knows all the countries; it's just that they don't know her.

tbh this is just me wanting to ramble about my dumb mini aus that i come up with but never actually do anything with so uhhh heres some ideas for this/explanations

kris:

i made them a rainwing!!! theres a few reasons but lemme just keep it brief -rainwings are very “othered” and kris being a human really fits that -theyre also very isolated so ofc nobody really would know how to actually raise a rainwing, for example the stuff like how they actually change color by using the sun and shit -they LITERALLY CHANGE COLOR WHEN THEY GO INTO THE DARK WORLD I MEAN COME ON

anyways some hcsss!!!

kris totally would change their scales to blend in with their family and seem more “sandwing” (yep i made the dreemurrs sandwings), specifically to have the same colors as asriel. in the og kris drawing i realized that this wasnt really showing my idea of how they normally would look so i added in a doodle of the whole family!!

i inverted the colors mostly so you could tell the difference plus gave them some pops of green n yellow to help them stand out, but in reality most of the time they just look like a smaller asriel

theyve probably picked up the habit of trying to raise their tail threateningly but that doesnt really work because. its a sandwing thing they dont have venom. OR AT LEAST THE NORMAL KIND- no we are not getting into the whole rainwing venom thing

kris probably doesnt know about rainwing venom, since even in deltarune the people there are super uneducated about humans, and in wof everyone is even LESS educated about rainwings (at least if this is set post darkstalker), so nobody really knows. 

they probably camoflauge to prank people. like you just feel someone watching you at 4am and you turn around and boom its kris

theyve probably gotten good at stopping their scales from changing since theyre constantly trying to blend in with their family, so they mostly stay light pink like asriel. after hanging out with susie a bit tho they probably get more confident and try out blue and pink and it looks great i love them. and also extreme emotions can make them change, but its not voluntary and they dont usually notice until someone points it out. 

theyre also probably very dull in color before they really embrace their identity. they like to stick with their family and blend in as much as possible, but rainwings sort of need to sleep outside and take naps often to have bright colors. as soon as kris realizes that others dont take those naps or feel tired a lot they try to stop and so their colors kinda suffer. to other rainwings they might even look a bit sickly.

hanging out with susie probably gives them the confidence boost they need to actually be ‘healthy’ and their colors get a lot brighter and they stop sleeping in class so much because THEYRE ACTUALLY GETTING THE REST THEY NEED WOOO GOOD FOR YOU KRIS GOOD FOR YOU

kris is also probably very uncomfortable with other rainwings because they cant really relate to them at all and it makes them feel somehow both less rainwing AND less sandwing than anything and so they avoid them at all costs.

ive probably thought the most about this so yeahhhhhh dont expect this much for the others

susie was probably the easiest tribe to decide on besides kris, so heres why -to be honest theres not much reason shes buff -and big -and thats very mudwing of her -also the only way she could be purple outside of fudging the mudwing rules is by making her a rainwing which kris has covered, silkwing which ralsei has, or a really fucking weird skywing which didnt really fit her vibe

theres actually not much ive thought about with her, but she probably gets a lot of weird looks as the only mudwing in town, which probably also fuels people being scared of her. she looks kinda funky and thats because i dont care about the rules but it also probably doesnt help like mudwings are very brown im just fudging the rules all over the place here she probably likes mud and kris is the only one who also likes it so they just fuckin roll in it sometimes idk wherre this thought came from but its here now i considered giving her no tail/ a very stubby tail because i think its funny but fuck it shes just got a normal tail sorry besties no short tail susie for u

with noelle i kick canon to the curb because fuck that shit i can make her a hybrid that sounds fun. she’s ice/sand, theres no deep reason here i just wanted to be able to make her brown while also having the ice stuff

her mom is an icewing and her dad is a sandwing or ice/sand hybrid like her, since she doesnt have much thats actually very sandwing about her other than her coloring. if she was blue and you got rid of the back frills she’d be just a normal icewing.

icewings are very status-orientated so her mom puts a lot of pressure on her to be a good role model even this far away from icewing rankings. carol probably only moved out of the ice kingdom because she wanted rudy to be happy and the ice is super uncomfy for sandwings, so she’s a bit miserable in the town with it being so warm. she probably sleeps in a seperate room, not for like weird marriage reasons but because she wanted to freeze it. she’s probably got some lingering racism, and also, hybrids are VERY looked down on by icewings traditionally, so she puts a ton of pressure on noelle to be the best representation of what they can be.

noelle believes she has to be as “icewing” as possible, and since the only full icewing she knows is carol, she’s the icon of what noelle is supposed to be. so she’s picked up a lot of her moms bad habits. for example, she’s really bad at talking about her own feelings or being emotionally in general, since carol always hides how she feels. she can also tend to make rude comments about other tribes, but she apologizes immediately whenever she catches herself.

dess was very much NOT icewing and her mom sort of hated it. she was brash and loud, probably not very orderly and didnt care too much about rules or status, and picked up firebreath from her dads side (if hes a hybrid too, then it skipped a generation). very not icewing of her. noelle loves the break in order, and so she’s sort of split half and half between who she thinks she has to be and what she thinks she wants to be, and isnt quite sure what she ACTUALLY wants or has to be between all the outside forces

also she blushes purple. red sandwing blood + blue icewing blood = fuck you shes purple now. i think its cute. purple bloosh for a purple girl *insert susie*

actually, the most sandwing thing about noelle is probably that she doesnt mind heat. she actually might just love it as much as the cold. she just hates the middle bits. either freeze her alive or burn her in hell no INBETWEEN DAMNIT

berdly berdly berdly. in the end, i kinda like the idea of him better than the final design. hes a nightwing with probably a bit of skywing blood but no (alive) relatives around to confirm that with so he will definetly not admit it -he was going to be a skywing because hes a bird. it seemed fitting -but then i realized that i couldnt make him blue like that -so hes a nightwing with skywing descent -okk the hcs explain the rest of my reasoning better so ill stop now

berdly probably brags about being able to read minds/see the future a lot because people in hometown dont know enough about nightwings to counter. in reality, berdly isnt a 3 moons dragon. or a 2 moons. or a 1 moon. hes just a normal dragon.

berdly’s ego probably comes from a lot of the “nightwings are perfect” bullshit he hears. i dont think his parents are very present for him, they just wanted to get out of the night kingdom because of the shame and brought him with them. 

he doesnt really want to lie about having powers, but hes in too deep now. the only ones who know are noelle (he confided in), kris (who saw it while they were lurking because they do that), and susie (who figured it out by threatening him with no actual intent and saw him being scared, and putting 2 and 2 together herself). and his parents but they dont count.

catti is also probably close to figuring it out because she knows a lot more about nightwing powers because of her research into these sorts of things, and the fact that he doesnt have a teardrop scale.

berdly can fly faster than a lot of dragons in the town because of his skywing descent, but he doesnt fly a lot because he wants to hide it as might as possible.

part 4 of my ROTTMNT x TMA crossover analyses in which i decide which TMA entity a character from ROTTMNT would serve/vibe with! (villain edition 2: electric boogaloo)

we back babey!! it’s been a bit of a week for me hence the delay on this, but i’m ready to get back into the analysis mindset. i’m gonna continue the villain streak from part three cause i didn’t quite get to everyone, so it’s big bad time!

kicking off the post with barry draxum!

i really really like draxum ok. i like everything about him. if donnie weren’t donnie then draxum would probably be my favorite character. he’s so funky. my poor little meow meow.

as i did with splinter, i wanted to split draxum into baron draxum and barry draxum for funsies. i’ll be doing the same with shredder. 

baron draxum is a corruption-aligned eye avatar with a healthy dosing of slaughter and spiral tossed into that rancid smoothie. i chose the spiral for the same reason i gave it to mikey: mystic shit. baron draxum was also a warrior alongside being a scientist and that man has absolutely killed before. he just gives me those vibes. 

barry draxum is a corruption-marked (cause the entities never really leave you) eye avatar with that same spiral but who is also leaning more towards the flesh when he becomes a lunch lady. you could also argue some lonely for him at the beginning of his redemption arc bc he’s living alone with no purpose having had his life force literally ripped out of him. i also get the feeling that, like splinter, he misses his glory days. i doubt he would go back to them bc he cares too much about the boys to want to go back but i can’t imagine he doesn’t have days where he reminisces on himself at his peak, powerful and respected. once he and splinter make up and he starts getting along with the boys, then he manages to break free of the hold the lonely has on him.

big mama is an hunt-aligned web avatar with a side of eye and a dash of the slaughter (it’s a very big dash ok). no one is surprised she’s a web avatar; she’s got the spider motif and she’s very manipulative with eyes and ears everywhere in the hidden city. she’s very intelligent and has a clear eye for talent, always on the hunt for her next champion. she is also so violent and you know what i support women’s wrongs. do you ever wonder if she regretted putting lou jitsu in the battle nexus (not enough to pull him out, but like do you think she ever regretted not saying yes and just having a life with him. anyway)

shredder!

PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE WHY DOES HE STAND LIKE THAT HE’S STANDING LIKE HE’S IN YOUR DOORWAY AT TWO IN THE MORNING TO TELL YOU HE THREW UP 

shredder is gonna be split into the shredder at the end of season1/beginning of season2 and then the shredder in the finale. 

end of s1 shredder is an extinction-aligned slaughter avatar with a bit of stuck-on spiral. the spiral comes from his constant blipping in and out of reality as he was teleported around new york. not much to say for him, he’s pretty self-explanatory. this shredder was terrifying because he was powerful (though not quite as powerful as finale shredder) and also because he just attacked everything in sight as brutally as he could. there was no strategy, just murder. 

finale shredder is an eye-marked extinction avatar with that same slaughter in him, just not quite as much as s1/2 shredder. THIS shredder was so much more dangerous because he was now awake and aware and could thus use his abilities and skills to the fullest and by god did he. i don’t have experience with other shredder incarnations but i fucking adored this shredder while he was around. what can i say i’ve got a soft spot for villains. 

the krang!

GOD what to say about the krang. i’m in love with the mech suit of krang prime and as villains themselves the krang were everything i love in antagonists. body horror galore and they were absolutely terrifying. i liked that they felt like their own characters too; they had the same goal and they had their similarities but they still felt like different people yk? it was so funny getting the whiplash i got when i learned what the krang are in 2012 vs here. 10/10 one and done villains. 

the krang are all slaughter-aligned extinction avatars with their own flair. krang prime is eye-aligned since he was obviously the brains of the operation. brownie krang (the little one) is flesh-aligned with all his ooey-gooey drippy disgustingness. murder krang is slaughter-aligned since she came out the door fucking SWINGING. i feel like if she weren’t evil (or if cassandra was) and didn’t hate every living thing she and cassandra would get along well.

So like- 3 months of waiting was worth it, Alan Becker's creativity never fails to entertain or surprise everyone, FOR EPISODE 29, NOT ONLY HE CONTINUED THE STORY BUT ALSO ADDED LOOOOOOREE (yum)

In the past videos i just realized that the universes that the stickmens go had something to do with their skills- (i wont elaborate since i dont know how to explain it),

In Episode 29, it starts with Green entering the universe which all creatures in it communicate through note block language/notes, aand of course he uses note blocks to communicate too!

(those funky Jazz zombies i love them and this whole episode became a musical)

When Purple was first shown in the series and after i saw him get betrayed by the king, i had feelings that the next episode would be either him teaming up with Green to beat King orange, or he would do something. much terrible than that (like absorbing the power of minecraft or smth)

But. i. did not. expect Purple's lore to be like that... my boy :(

The whole soundtrack like i said was really amazing. Especially the one on Purple lore scene, it fits with the animation, song truly does depict ones emotions or story. this whole episode just rlly wanted me to transport myself to Alan Becker's computer then go hug purple and let them cry on me

Quick story of my Michael Afton design

His first ver (wich was a base for all the other ones) was PURLEY based on the fnaf 4 sprite beacuae,,, It's the only Mike design I like besides that pizza sim bear- LIKE SORRY ALIVE MIKE IN SISTER LOCATION IS UGLY AS FUCK and overall I had idea to make him based of Foxy in many regards (such as with thos darn ahoges to represent Foxy's hair spikes). Also here comes the worst part of Mike design that I can never get rid of beacuse I'm wayyyy to attached to it- fleshtooth. I know it's awful you know it's awful I love it

Then I started to doodle him again and then his iconic emo bangs apeared and let's just say,,, these were here for a stay

Then I drew first real art of him and that solidifed the basic purple mike design I would draw the most. It would change slightly later but these changes were mostly based on giving him cooler clothes

Important thing to note on these designs: rather reddish toned hair, those boots (also purple lace if you know lace code you get it) also those fish net stockings. There's no real drawings of teen Michael Afton in this era but I have this gacha model (I'm not doing gacha videos I just liked making characters for fun. I like dress up games ok-) wich tells us a lot we need to know

There's not much imporant things to note here beside black shirt and grey hoodie onstead of gray shirt. This decision was made beacuse I think black shirt suits his edgy teen vibe more and I added the optional grey hoodie to recompensate that. There was also sims 4 model but It was horroble and I don't feel like looking for it. Onky thing notable there were ever redder hair and fishnets making a comeback

Then my fnaf hiperfix ended for around half a year and I came back with this design (also here's still unshaded fullbody in new style)

Notable things with Zombie Mike: No more ahoge, I finally deleted it since drawing it was a pain and it did nothing do enhance the design. he looses a piece of cheek, overall I want to make Zombie Mike look more destroyed. Still tho I want to keeo the general "funky purple monster high oc" vibe since that suits style I draw in more and I enjoy drawing stuff like this more. I litearlly make animatronics into funky furries with bows leave me alone.

Things to note on teen Mike design: Ahoge is also gone, but fishnets make a comeback, same with purple lace comebat boots. He also gets long hair like REALLY long hair. At first I wanted to play around with somehow keeping these bangs but also giving him mullet. However I have no idea how but he ended up long haired but I liked it he looked cute so I kept it.

Final thoughts and bonus funfacts

I totally went with count the ways millie aproach didn't I- But um yeah my Mike doesn't look like this punkish 80's bully boy but like 2000's emo fem but that's okay since that's the aesthetic I prefer anyway 💖 My Mike wasn't meant to be realistic he was meant to be cute and fun to draw ok-

Now funfacts

-Those weird side bangs he has were meant to be a reference to side burns I saw people draw him. But his eyes were too big to make side burns visible so side bangs it is

-He had snake bite pirercing in the first design but I deleted it. Bonnie Bully got it instead to recompansate

-Also Freddy bully gets more of an 80's edgy bully archetype look to recompensate for Mike going the emo way

-His red hair apeared beacuse on his fnaf 4 model I always saw his hair as reddish so I decided to make it evenr redder. It's obviously dyed

-Where it comes to his face he actually looks mostly like his mom, and only has William's eyes. I know this is totally not canon but I just like the irony that feom all things he could have inherited from William, it was his fuckin eyes you know THE WINDOWS OF A SOUL.

-He also gets William's body feutures tho. The only major differecence is shoulders aren't as wide

-His mom was Filipina so he's mixed

-I want him to get a buzz cut and dyed blonde hair during his Mike Schmidt era. I'm yet to design that

-his Foxy mask has a tounge stuck out beacuse of that fnaf 4 foxy teaser

-That light blue tongue while he's purple thing is beacuse I was stupid and while making the first doodle of his design, I acidentaly covered his tounge color with his eye white color

-He propably would wear those fuckin combat boots at the beach. Before you claim me insane to sugest anyone would do that- I litearlly went to beach with someone who wore combat boots there.

-He ripped holes in his jeans himself

-He's so skinny you propabky could count his ribs </3 He's eating alright he's just build this way

This Christmas thing is awesome! Everyone in the committee is so happy!

I’ve never seen everyone so lively before, it’s kinda strange to say the least. I’m glad everyone’s happy.

Wishes will last forever, but I know it won’t, everyone will go back to hating me and I’ll go back to my room, sitting there alone in the dark as usual. but it’s what I’m used to so it’s nothing new, just hope that everybody hates me a little less maybe, but who knows with future holds for us or at least me anyway.

Got a new tablet or iPad, I mean, and this funky little stylus that came with it, Rowan said something about wanting me to draw? I don’t know I didn’t really listen, I was too busy being amazed at the new iPad.

Hope I can get a lot of work done at least with this, going to be pretty fun drawing! Maybe they gave us to me so I would be out of the way, I like to think I’m usually out of the way. Sure sure I can be annoying, but I’m not that bad, right?

I mean, I can be insufferable sure, but not THAT bad, right? please Pudim is nice to me, I mean sure, there’s a newbie of the committee, but it’s nice to have somebody as nice as her around.

Not much to do other than eat, the wires and stuff. You know the usual, eating the random garbage I find most look as I can, otherwise it isn’t much to do. It’s pretty boring. occasional rat I find around here and no not chonk, even though everyone around here, kinda hate him.

First time I brought him in everybody thought it was gross, well, except Luci, she thought he was pretty cool.

He tries to ‘pay’ them back by de-weeding their gardens. 

They even give him a tiny garden for himself <3

Also, they try to get him to go to the pool so he gets the exercise that doesn’t add more stress to him. :D

He is trying to be nicer, but when someone is rude, he tends to lash out. Big Time

This dude is so eloquent yet so simple with insults.

His mother was a single mom, loving and encouraging of Squidward. 

His more ‘fancy’ and ‘strict’ personality is from his mom teaching him to behave so they can have better chances in life. 

So she never discouraged him or snapped at him! She would never, she was his number one supporter. But, for a better future, he needed to be quiet mostly. 

Because young Squidward both loved his mother and understood the severity of his behavior, he listened.

However, other kids would bully him for his femininity, clarinet playing, and quiet nature 

As it got worse, he had to have a sharp tongue, leaving people flustered so they’d leave him alone. If he were the asshole, no one would bother him.

However, Spongebob, Patrick, and Sandy started to help him try to grow.

I actually have a story for that if you guys wanna hear it! :)

So now the trio has a new member! :D

Mostly just the awkward, occasionally sarcastic friend. 

Touch-sensitive, a fact Spongebob has to be very careful of as not to make him feel uncomfortable

 He can play the clarinet, very well in fact! But only when he is confident. :(

Good singing voice too! Clear yet a bit nasally with a hint of depth

He loves to garden and cook/bake

But it MUST be extra. Or else >:(

He has a receding hairline, but his hair is just like Spongebobs when they straighten their hair :)

His natural hair is also black! :) 

He only has freckles on his forehead. 

He has so many wrinkles, where are they coming from??? 

Likes to paint his nails too, but only black, purple, or blue. :)

Used to have a cat named Shelly, but had to give her up. 

Gives Patrick a veggie basket every time he harvests his garden, making sure to make it look good with bows and flowers :)

Loves loves LOVES musicals!

Loves to also wear suits and button-ups

Loves savory food the most

You know what? He’s the awkward wine aunt friend. That's it. I have decided >:)

X-Men 20 (May 1966)

Roy Thomas/Jay Gavin

Yep, Stan Lee is gone, or at least relegated to overall editorial control, with Roy Thomas in to write, as pointed out in the credits section of this great opening splash. Smoking X-Men! You know they must be baddies!

This is in fact our fold friends the Blob (yay!) and Unus the Untouchable (boo!) dressed up as X-Men, robbing banks and blackening the reputation of the real X-Men. And right away this is a different kind of scripting from Lee's: Lee always started with the X-Men, hanging out our training, never jumping right into the middle of a story with the villains like this. And the fact that they're villains dressed as X-Men is particularly on the nose.

Meanwhile Scott is, for no very good reason - he remembers he loves Jean intermittently, like once every three issues - quitting the X-Men. This is a pretty weak tease.

Incredible panel of Xavier trying to psychically detect who put the Blob and Unus up to this. There's the Vanisher! He is still canon! The name Xavier can't get to, though, is Lucifer, the extremely low-rent villain from issue 9 who is nevertheless central to X-Men canon, as he's the one who put Xavier in a wheelchair. Lucifer discovered Unus and the Blob wrestling homoerotically in a circus...

...and set them up robbing banks, as we saw at the beginning. Cyclops, having "quit", runs into them and tries to stop them, but starting a super-powered brawl downtown only creates more bad public feeling about mutants.

Yes, along with remembering every three issues that Scott is in love with Jean, we also remember every three issues that the public hates and fears mutants.

Making fun of costumed dupes while dressed like this is a bit much, Lucifer. The red with the purple? The little beard poking out?

I absolutely love this panel that uses the actual structure of the city like the structure of a comic. Love love love. Anyway, Lucifer's grand plan is...psychic dick tower.

Psychic dick tower. I cannot explain further. Xavier can, though: the psychic dick tower almost disables him, but by putting on a funky walk-man Jean is able to pick up his faint thought waves.

This is the framing device for an absolutely deranged flashback to Xavier's previous encounter with Lucifer, in a secret city in the Himalayas. "Welcome, traveller, to...Shangri-La! Which is also the Old West! Which is also the European Middle Ages!"

"Which is also the secret staging post for an alien invasion, for whom Lucifer is but a forerunner! And having been foiled in the Himalayas in the flashback, he's going to try again in America now, with his psychic dick tower to make him unstoppable!"

There is a catastrophically large amount going on in this issue, which ends on a cliffhanger. I guess Thomas just wanted to hit the ground running, which he kind of does, but yikes.
