Chapter 35
After I had taken Katsuki to his room, I left him to shower and change.
And I had to do the same.
My erection had almost gone completely soft, so when I got in the shower it didn't take long for it to go back to its normal size. But now that I had time on my own...
The memory of Katsuki moaning and gasping my name had me aroused yet embarrassed. My embarrassment made me cover my face with my palms as I felt the warm water running down my (back/chest.)
What had gotten into me all of a sudden?! I mean... I don't regret it, at all, but I told Katsuki I wouldn't do anything he didn't want... and I just did that.
While I was scolding myself for my selfish behaviour, my phone rang, and the ringtone for Katsuki's contact echoed inside the bathroom walls.
I closed the shower and wrapped my towel around my hips, getting out and grabbing my phone.
It was a message.
BabySuki;
Don't rack your brain over something stupid.
I wanted you to keep going, so don't you fucking dare think you forced me.
And also...
I'm going to kill you soon.
I finished reading the last message as they popped up on the screen, and I had to wait a few seconds before another one was sent.
I choked with my own spit.
It was a picture. Katsuki was standing in front of the mirror, his shirt off his body and water dripping down his chest, but the red bite marks around his nipples were really noticeable, and his neck had a few but they were more subtle.
I didn't think they would look like that!
His nipples were a darker pink and slightly swollen, with teeth marks around both of them, along with some small purple hickeys around them.
My face felt warm and I tore my eyes away from the screen, only to have my (e/c) eyes landing on my reflection, noticing a deep bite mark on my shoulder.
It was darker than the ones Katsuki had but there were also some nail marks on my upper back too. And I quickly snapped a picture of them.
;You marked me too, puppy.
I heard a scream and the popping noise of small explosions on the other side of the wall, and that made me chuckle.
Then we're even.
And don't call me puppy!
;But I've always thought you were a cute little angry puppy.
;The cutest Pomeranian on earth.
I walked out of my room with my phone in hand, placing it on my desk and turning around to take out clean clothes from my dresser. Yes, I changed when I came here earlier, but I needed to wash those anyway.
While I pulled up my sweatpants over my underwear, I heard a knock on the door.
Who can it be...? Izuku, maybe?
I walked up to it, drying my hair with the towel, and I pushed the knob door down. The door was open from the outside and then a body collided with mine.
I almost fell on my ass, but I was quick enough to hold myself up by grabbing my desk, the towel in my hand falling onto the floor.
"If you're going to say embarrassing shit... say them looking me in the eyes," Katsuki backed away from my neck to stare at me, our eyes locking.
I chuckled and wrapped my arms around him, lifting him off the ground. Katsuki bent his legs instead of wrapping them around my hips and he had an adorable smile on his face now, his crimson eyes staring at my (e/c) ones and then down to my lips.
"You came here just to tell me that, puppy?" He blushed as I said it and he bit his bottom lip, the corners of his mouth trembling as I noticed him resisting the urge to smile, "How can you be so damn cute, Suki? I love how you become when you're with me," I placed a kiss on the tip of his nose, and he scoffed.
"You pathetically missed, my lips aren't there." I smiled at him and put him down, so I was towering over his muscular body.
"If you wanted me to kiss you, you could've done it yourself," he groaned at my teasing and placed his palms on my shoulders.
"That wouldn't have been fun, would it?," he smirked and stood on his tippy toes, "Why do you have to be so tall, damn it? I can't reach your lips..." he tried to stretch his neck up, but the struggle was making his body shake from the effort.
Katsuki looked cute -like he always does, I won't ever get tired of thinking that-, but I decided he had enough, so I got closer to him, wrapping my arms around his waist and held him against me, making him arch his back slightly, and kissing his red, plump and tempting lips. I thought we already looked like those typical dramatic kisses, but then Katsuki lifted his legs to my hip.
Now it definitely was a dramatic kiss.
However, the moment was broken when my phone went off again, and Katsuki tried to hold me in place to prevent me from breaking our kiss, but I poked his sides and that made him back away in an instant.
I chuckled.
I grabbed my phone and stared at the screen.
BunnyZuku:
Dinner's ready (M/n)-kun.
;Okay, thanks Izuku, we'll be there soon.
"Let's go, dinner is ready." I opened one of my drawers and took out a black tank top with thick straps to cover the bite on my shoulder. Katsuki stood beside me and stared at me up and down.
That made me feel self-conscious.
"W-what...?" He licked his bottom lip before biting it.
"Nothing, you should be shirtless more often." I felt my face heat up at his comment and I fondled with the hem of my top. "Also, do you have something to hide this?" Looking up, he was signalling to the subtle marks on his neck. If you didn't know they were there, they were pretty much invisible, but it was probably just to be safe.
And that's when remembered that I had a turtleneck tank top, well it was a compression shirt I rarely ever used, so I looked around for it.
"This?" I held it up for him to take and he grabbed it, shrugging and taking his shirt off. I swallowed hard and looked away.
"You can stare, you know? I don't mind." His tone was teasing and I had to cover my face with my hands.
"Stop with the teasing, Suki." He scoffed a laugh and held my arm.
"Let's go, I'm hungry."
Moving my hands away from my face I glanced at him. The shirt was kinda loose on him, which made him look adorable in it.
I silently admired him for a bit until we arrived at the common room.

i've not played my time at sandrock but i have heard of it! i'm not really into deserts, so i never really felt a draw to play it honestly dlskdfg my time at portia has more appeal to me!!
Tumblr media
OMG HES SO YELLOW .. I LOVE HOW RED HIS NOSE IS AND THE FRECKLES.. he's so cute........ i had no idea the game had such cute character design.... i see the appeal...........................
in terms of MY FAVOURITES...!!!!!!! i'm only gonna pick romance options because this game has so many characters. EXCEPT ONE there's a standout npc.. anyone who knows me well will know who that is.. alphabetical order except for the npc
charles - i really love town doctors in these games and i love gingers and freckles and he gives me harvey sdv vibes but hes a lil less strict and a lil more hypocritical and i really enjoy that. he literally wont take his hayfever pills but constantly sneezes from it!!! he's so stupid and smart at the same time <3
kenny - kenny has literally made me tear up. he's my highest heart and his dialogue gets so whimsical and beautiful.. bro sees poetry in the wind and the call of birds. he is so in love with nature and the world but not enough to stand in the rain and get soaked <3 he's really sweet and his best friend is a cow called bessie i mean cmon
noah - noah is adorable and i love his relationship with his family... i especially love how close he is with his mother betty and i really want to be a better farmer to make his life easier.. when he asks me to grab some flowers to help him out even a lil bit i will bring him 50 bouquets
rafael - he's so cute and passive and gentle.. gentle giant trope.. i love his rolling eyes face when he complains and i love that he says magic stuff isnt real but he would like if it was because it would be cool... i love that he likes horror movies and hes so gentle with his niece and respectful of suki's parenting and and and... HES SOOO BABYYYYYYYYY
raj - they/them rep ofc i'm into it... i haven't gotten far with raj yet but i got that one dialogue where they tell you their full name and you can compliment it and if you do the BLUSH EXPRESSION... i really wanna get to know raj better....... i would also like to supply ur coffee beans raj can we discuss this
scott - my partner calls scott a grave robber and he robbed my heart yeah <3 scott is the enemy (white man who works for a museum and wants to display artefacts from other cultures) but scott is also flirt at 1 hearts and has multiple story cutscenes all about him so you get to know him and spend time with him faster than anyone and its like he's purposely trying to entice me. bro called me dear, lovely, asks if i've noticed he's been lifting weights, CHARLES SAYS HE HAS TO REMIND SCOTT TO EAT, SLEEP AND SHOWER.... idk man he's a fucking mess and i really need him
surya - SURYA IS SO CUTE AND I LOVE THE DYNAMIC OF BEING THE TWO NEWEST IN TOWN... i love the ocean stuff so i'm naturally drawn to him and his science and mission on the island.. when u gift him a liked item bro can't even look u in the eye he's blushing up a storm like BRO IS INTO YOU... his lil tv event was so cute and my mind is full of surya being too shy to act on his feelings.. ahhhhh..........
AND LASTLY THE NPC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
betty - EVERY SINGLE GAME LIKE THIS I FALL IN LOVE WITH THE LIL OLD LADY!!!!!!!! she spends all her time refilling bird feeders!! she likes to educate the kids on the coral reefs!!!!! she loves to go on walks and stretch lightly with noah!!!!!! she bakes!!!!! she is so patient and kind with everyone!! BUT SHES THE LOUDEST AND ANGRIEST WHEN PUFFERFISH MOVES IN!!!!!!!!! GET EM MUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! see i'm never into having kids in these games but the thought of marrying noah and having children to give betty some grandkids... man man man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if there's like some junimo equivalent in this game (don't spoil if there is plsy) they will be ultimate favourites as well ^_^
there are some romance options i do like but i don't know well enough or haven't been drawn in enough to like them a lot and i'll list them here quickly
alice
ben
eva
luke
mark
pablo
suki
i do like the look of nina but i haven't met her yet.. and denali is <3 but i also haven't really met the merfolk yet only the first meeting!! honestly i do think they're all cute.. and i might be surprised like how most people hate haley but her romance is one of the ultimates in sdv.... like i've gotten two events with luke now and he's quickly racing up to favourites but not quite there yet.... who knows......!!!!!!!!!!

Writing Diary #2
(This post will be edited often due to changes)
This is just a layout of the characters for this story I'm writing along with ideas for their names. I'm just putting it here to basically start completing my writing diary, where I will have the information, drafts, and ideas of all my stories (yes, all lol. they're too many).
With that being said,
Upper East Side/Gossip Girl vibes story. Characters.
The Cousins (Air Holy Trinity. Richest heiresses)
Gisele/Ginessa/Ginebra (I inclined to Ginebra, but would it be too hard to pronounce in English? Would it sound weird?)
No Name Yet (Cher meets Britney for this character)
No Name Yet (SUKI WATERHOUSE!!!, vibes obv)
-> BELAIRE for surname just because
So Gin has her twin brother, (No Official Name Yet, but something with G because they're twins)
Senator's (it's a rich kids' story, of course, I will recognise them according to who is their mom/dad)
Vicent/Vance (Still trying to figure this one out, but we're close)
Vienna/Virginia/Veronica (Again, trying to figure it out, but we've got options)
[SECRETELY ;)] Coltrane (still have a few doubts with this one)
The Psycho Siblings (Artit's kid. She then marries the congressman so all these people become step-siblings!!)
Silas? (I don't like it tbh, still trying to figure it out)
Scarlett? (same situation as her brother)
Old Money (Hotel Chain)
Corinne (Serena Van De Woodsen vibes!!! but very old money, and a bit more soft, but then again not?)
still trying to figure out if there's going to be more kids from here, probably not
Now that I realise, Corinne is the only one with a name chosen. Whenever I picture her, I know she's Corinne, something that hasn't happened with any other character. Nice.
The Athlete's
Aspen? (I think it could be better, give off more the vibes I want. Let's say this one is in revision)
It has recently come to me a sister of his that wasn't on my plans before, her name also came easily (Prim), and I already know who to pair her with (Leone). But that's from another series, let's say a spin-off... but god has she been talking to me lately. (*I'll write more about this below)
The Singer's
No Name Yet (I don't have his name, I also haven't started even thinking about a name for him. It's funny considering he goes with Corinne, whose name is the only one I've chosen already. Anyways, soulmates)
He just gives only-child vibes in my mind, what do you think about only-child x only-child. I don't think it makes much sense, I mean it's possible. There was a time I thought to make him Aspen's brother, but it didn't quite feel right, and now that idea is completely out of the question if I'm adding Prim there. I also don't see why I should make even more characters for this series, if they're not gonna be part of it.
IMPORTANT DATA.
So, the Congressman and Artist marry after many years. His career in politics is definitely done, he divorced (finally!!!) and gets to be with the love of his life. Her husband, on the other hand, died a few years back (illness? murder?), I feel like I could take from this prompt something for the psycho siblings.
This would make Vicent, Virginia, Silas, and Scarlett (and Coltrane) [no definitive names] step-siblings. Is it too much? Tbh, Coltrane doesn't know about the existence of any of these people until his book comes around with Gin. Well, this has been this way since the beginning and it still makes sense.
More info, the artist's husband was the brother of Corinne's mother. Which would make Silas, Scarlett and Corinne cousins, and that's why they have such a high profile. Either way, this brother was disowned the moment he decided to marry an artist. Yes, she does become really famous and consequently, rich. They do come back to his family, but not without resentment. However, they never received bad treatment from Corinne's mother and that's why they know each other like family.
Aspen, S (I'll call the singer's son to facilitate my life), and Prim do come from new money and have only met the other kids in middle school. Their parents are pretty famous and very rich, but it all comes from the media industry.
Ginebra, Twin, L and A (God, I need to start thinking about names!!) all are heirs to the worldwide news empire (we're talking succession level here) AIR. We're talking about the richest people here, and the more involved in the business are the girls. The twin has no interest in the media industry whatsoever. The Cousins, on the other hand, take after the three brothers that manage the company (L for Lar, A for Finances, Gin for Media. We're talking specialities, they all would form in a way the position of CEO. High ranks.). So their grandfather founded the company, and then his three sons inherited the company and took it to the next level. We're really talking about a lot of money here. Subsequently, these three brothers had each one daughter (except one, who had twins, Gin and Twin), and they opted for no more than one kid so they could inherit the company and take charge. In conclusion, Gin, A and L have been raised for this since they were born. The twin's mother was a Brazilian supermodel (we're talking Gisele level here), A's mom was a Russian ballerina, and L's mom was her dad's childhood sweetheart (aka a normal girl).
To summon up,
-> Vicent and Virginia: Political money.
-> Silas and Scarlett: Old Money/New Money.
-> Aspen, S, and Prim: New Money.
-> Corinne, Ginebra, Twin, A, L: Old Money.
Question to think about after writing this:
Do I make Vicent's father NY Governor?
Do I maintain Corinne and S as only children?
Do I definitely insert Prim as Aspen's sister?

Heyo! I'm a REALLY REALLY REALLY! Big fan of angst and your works, so I have a suggestion! So like, in this au Bakugou and Y/N are aged up and they have a daughter (let's just say her name is either Katsumi or Kirumi). So, the child is 4 years old and she didn't get her quirk yet. Let's just say Bakugou got drunk when his friends dragged him to a bar and this woman decided to hit him up and let's just say he cheated- so Y/N found out because kiri just had to tell her because it wasn't manly at all for him to keep a secret and Y/N left him with his child and boom! Bad ending. Please tag me in this one tyy!

(Changed it up the slightest bit to make Katsumi remember bc I kinda wanna do a part 2 for this)
Nobody to Blame but Yourself - Bakugou Katsuki
Bakugou x f!reader
Warnings: ANGST, cursing, cheating, alcohol consumption
BAKUGOU’S MASTERLIST
Pt.1 Pt.2
You have a small, beautiful family. Your loving husband, Katsuki and your adorable daughter, 5 year old Katsumi.
Katsumi was your precious baby girl. She had Katsuki’s ash blonde hair with your silky smooth hair texture. She had your E/C eyes and Katsuki’s porcelain skin. She had Katsuki’s bravery and boldness along with your kindness and compassion. She was a perfect mix of you both.
Y/N and Katsuki have been together ever since their childhood. Their families were close and they grew up together. Katsuki always swore to protect his princess. They got together in their junior year and about 5 years after they graduated from UA high, Katsuki proposed.
“Be back soon, okay Suki? You sweetly said to your husband as he got closer to the door. He pulled you in with a smile and pecked your cheek.
“Yeah, yeah Teddy Bear. I’ll probably be back sooner than you think, don’t even wanna go with those losers.” He complained with a strained face. You giggled at his expression and went on.
“Those losers have been your best friends since high school. You love them. You know you do,” you teased. “Besides, you haven’t spent some time with them in forever.”
“Yeah Y/N. I’m a husband and a dad. I don’t need to be around my friends, I need to be with my family.” He exclaimed with a playful voice.
“Well your family will still be here when you get back. Just as long as you always come back to us too.” You said with a wink.
“Always will Teddy Bear.” He said holding you tight. He held you close until you both heard the little pitter patter of feet running to the front door. You both looked down and saw your daughter in her pjs and watched as she jumped onto Katsuki.
“Be back soon daddy!” She said with a squeal. Katsumi was definitely a daddy’s girl. Her and her father were attached at the hip the second she was born. They were best friends and you loved their father-daughter dynamic.
“Katsumi, you’re supposed to be sleeping, love.” You said with a chuckled as you held her tiny hand while Katsuki picked her up in his arms.
“I wanted to say bye to daddy before he went to see uncle Kiri! And uncle Denki and uncle Sero and Auntie Mina!” She said and watched as you and Bakugou lip synced to her voice as she said the Bakusquad’s names. She laughed at her parent’s teasing as Katsuki assaulted her in kisses.
“That’s sweet baby bear. Don’t worry. I’ll be back soon. So get to bed you brat,” Bakugou said as he placed his daughter down and ruffled her hair. Others would look down on the rough treatment but you knew Katsumi never took it seriously. She always laughed and played back with Katsuki whenever he put on his ‘mean guy act.’
“M’kay.” Katsuki bent down to kiss her cheek and you followed doing the same action before Katsumi ran back off to her room. You and Katsuki said bye to each other after Katsuki gave you a loving kiss. He walked out the door to meet with his friends as he knew he was in for a long night.
It would soon shock him to see how true that statement would be.
The night was going well. Katsuki left around 8:30 and he said he would be back sooner than you thought so considering he was now a family man, you thought he’d be back by midnight. However, you woke up in the middle of the night and saw it was 3 in the morning...and he still wasn’t home. You were starting to get worried now.
If this was back in your earlier years of marriage, you’d say this was okay. Not great but okay, except now, Katsuki has responsibilities and promises that he vowed to keep. He should’ve been home a long time ago. Where was he? You stayed up deciding to sit and wait for him to come home and after almost 2 hours, your phone rang.
You picked it up quickly with a little bit of fear and anger sitting in your stomach. You didn’t even bother to check who it was so when you heard the voice of your husband’s best friend instead of Katsuki, you grew concerned.
“Katsuki! Where are you?!” You asked with worry as you slightly shouted into the phone.
“Hey Y/N..... It’s Kirishima. Umm...I have something to tell you.” He said with sadness detected in his voice.
“Kiri? Is everything alright? Wheres Katsuki?” You asked.
“I’m so sorry Y/N...”
Listening to the red head’s voice made your eyes pop. Your body trembled and tears began to pool in your eyes as you shook your head in denial. Katsuki loved you. You both had a daughter! A family! He would never....he wouldn’t....right? After talking to your friend for some time and getting the crucial information you needed, you made up your mind on what you had to do.
“T-Thank you, Kirishima. Goodnight.” You said into the phone with a hiccup.
“I’m sorry Y/N. You don’t deserve this. You and Katsumi....goodnight.” He said and hung up the phone. You placed it down and sat in silence for a moment. After about a minute, you broke down again and cried into your hands. You sobbed as tears flowed down your cheeks. Rivers of heartbreak and anger streamed down your face as you cried the night away.
Well..you couldn’t cry all night. Katsuki would probably be back in the morning and you had plans. You’d have to save your tears for later. You looked at the time.
4:18 a.m.
You set your alarm for 6 and went back to bed. The whole night, all you could think about was your precious baby girl. This was going to break her little heart. Instead of crying over your husband’s betrayal, you wept for your daughter’s future without her best friend. Eventually you cried yourself to sleep and the sun rose in time.
10:00 a.m
Katsuki opened his eyes to the alarm on the nightstand. He yawned a bit before adjusting his eyes to morning light. The more he looked at the stand, the more he realized he didn’t recognize it. Nor the alarm clock. He looked around and noticed he wasn’t in his bedroom. Katsuki shot up and sat on the bed and looked down to notice he was completely undressed. He looked to the side and saw some random woman. A complete stranger who was also naked in bed with him. His heart grew rapid as his eyes grew frantic.
“No, no, no, no, no, no this can’t be happening..this can’t be happening!” Katsuki said as his hands found way to his hair as he tugged on the blonde locks. The woman next to him awoken to his shuffling and smiled up at him. She placed her hand on his bare chest and cuddled in close to him as she sighed in content.
“G’morning handsome. Had a fun night?” She teased, reminding him of his affair and unloyal actions.
“Get the fuck off me!” He said as he jumped out of bed and found his pants. He pulled them on and continued to scream. “What the fuck is wrong with you?! The hell did you do to me you fucking slut?”
“What’re you talking about? And who the fuck are you calling a slut?” The woman said with sass.
“Just tell me where I am!” Katsuki demanded.
“A hotel! You know, the hotel you dragged me to so you could get your dick wet.” She said as she sat up from the bed but still covered herself with the blanket.
“Why the fuck would I do that?!” He screamed.
“You tell me. All I know is that I saw you in that bar, you drank a hell of a lot with your friends, I came up to you and flirted with you, you flirted back, we shared a few more drinks, and you dragged me here. I mean, I consented of course but still.” The stranger explained. Bakugou shook as he looked around in a frenzy. “Anyway, round 2?”
“You fucking bitch, I have a wife!” He screamed at her as he got himself dressed.
“Heh, wow. Well when your wife leaves you after she finds out you cheated, give me a call.” The woman said as she layed back down on the bed. Katsuki seethed at her as he squinted his eyes in disgust.
“You shameless slut. Like hell I will! And Y/N’s not gonna leave me! She loves me! And I love her-“
“Sure didn’t seem like it last night~” the woman said. Bakugou had enough and blasted the bed she was on with his quirk before cussing her out and leaving her there. He quickly ran out the hotel and found his car. He hopped inside and started it as he quickly sped off home.
“Shit!” Bakugou screamed at himself. How could he do that?! How could he cheat on you?! You were his everything! You and Katsumi! His two girls were his entire world! And he betrayed the both of you by doing this. He could only hope that you wouldn’t find out. He can’t tell you what he did. He would lose you! He can’t lost you! This whole thing just has to pass over and things will be fine. Right? Well something didn’t sit right with him as he inched closer and closer to his house.
When the 6 o’clock alarm rang, you woke up, ready for the day to begin and the drama to unfold. You were quick to get yourself ready. Brush your teeth, shower, get dressed, a little makeup, and you packed your important belongings and your clothes. Everything else would be replaceable. You put on a pair of shoes and put the rest in the large suitcase you had.
You made a quick call to Mina, assuming she already knew what happened. You asked if you could drop Katsumi off for some time and she of course said yes. After saying ‘thank you,’ you brought all your bags into your car and went back inside to get your daughter.
You walked into your daughter’s bedroom to see her sleeping peacefully. Next to her bed, a framed picture of your once happy family. It was Katsumi’s 4th birthday and she didn’t want to spend it with anybody else except for Mommy and Daddy. Now, you were gonna have to take someone out the picture. You shook your daughter awake and watched as she opened her beautiful E/C eyes that resembled your own.
“Katsumi..hey baby, wake up.” You softly said with a reassuring smile to not alarm her. You watched as she rubbed her eyes with her tiny fist and looked up at you.
“Mommy? What’s going on?” She asked as she looked around in a daze.
“You’re gonna have a little play date at Auntie Mina and Uncle Kiri’s house. Uncle Denki and Uncle Sero will be there too! You excited?” You asked with enthusiasm to hide your pain.
“Really Mommy?!” Your daughter asked with excitement.
“Mhm! Get ready and get dressed for Mommy. They’ll be here at 8, okay?” You said rubbing your daughter’s back before she quickly jumped out of bed and into her own bathroom.
“Okay Mommy!” She said as she ran into the bathroom, turning on the sink to begin her morning routine. Some time passed and Katsumi got dressed and you went back in her room to help her dry her hair. You helped her put on her shoes and by the time they were on, Mina and Kiri were already at the door.
You opened it with a soft smile and the couple looked at you with supportive, sad eyes. “Hey guys..”
“It’s okay to be sad Y/N, we’re here for you.” Mina said. Your eyes teared up at her words but you shook your head and gave her a hug.
“Thank you, but I promise myself I wouldn’t cry. At least, not when Katsumi’s around. I gotta be strong for her. Her whole life’s about to change after all.” You sadly said as you looked down and released your hold on Mina. Your pink friend nodded before walking into the house to find Katsumi in her bedroom. You and Kirishima stayed at the door and talked a bit more.
“I’m so sorry for all of this Y/N. I should’ve been watching him more.” Kirishima said as he looked down in sorrow.
“Kiri, you shouldn’t have to watch him. He cheated and that was his choice. Your choice was being a true friend and telling me. A true man,” you joked. You both gave a little bittersweet laugh before calming down again. “Thank you so much Kirishima.”
The red head did nothing but pull you in for a tight hug. You almost cried on his shoulder before your daughter came to the both of you. “Uncle Kiri!”
You both separated and looked down at the excited 5 year old. She jumped onto her uncle and he happily held her in his arms. “Hey squirt. Ready for a day full of fun?”
“Mhm!” Katsumi replied. You all talked some more before Katsumi said her goodbye to you and went off with Kirishima and Mina. You shut the door and took a break as you allowed a few silent tears to drop. You wiped them away and went to pack your daughter’s bags. Just a few more hours and he’d be home..probably. All you knew was that you’d have to face him eventually.
Finally, you finished packing your daughter’s things and placed them in your car. You put on a jacket and waited for Katsuki to walk through the doors. Soon, this perfect little family would go crumbling to the ground.
Katsuki pulled into his driveway and his eyes took notice of your car still there. He smiled at the sight and quickly got out of the car. He slammed the vehicle door shut and ran to the entrance. He unlocked the door in a rush and to say he was happy to see you on the couch, still there, was an understatement.
“Y/N! Hey Teddy Bear! I am so sorry!” He said as he ran to you and sat down next to you on the couch, pulling you in for a tight hug. He was too happy to even notice your jacket and shoes that you wore.
“Katsuki, you were gone all night. Where were you?” You said in a soft voice as you placed your hand on his chest so you could face him.
“I-..I overdid it and spent the night at Kirishima’s. I’m so sorry I didn’t tell you, love. I was passed out the whole night.” He said and attempted to pull you in again but you pressed a hand to his chest to stop him. You couldn’t believe he was going to lie to you. Actually, now that you think about it, cheating wasn’t below him so why would lying be either?
“So why didn’t Kirishima call me? Or Mina?” You questioned. Unfortunately, you underestimated Katsuki’s quick tongue. He was a good liar, and if you hadn’t already known the truth, you’d probably believe him.
“Shitty hair’s phone died and Alien girl was asleep by the time we got back. By the time he put me in the guest bed, I knocked out so don’t asked me what happened after.” He said. Your anger and fury grew at his lies but he didn’t notice. “Look, I’m so sorry I came back so late but I can make it up to you Teddy Bear. Now would you just give me a hu-“
“SHUT! UP!” You screamed as you pushed him off of you. You stood up from the couch and Bakugou watched you in “confusion.” Bakugou felt his heart racing as he had a guess at why you were so mad but he refused to believe it.
“T-Teddy Bear, whats wrong?” He asked with shaky hands as he tried to reach out to you but you dodged all his attempts.
“What’s wrong? What’s wrong?! You’re fucking lying to me! You’re lying to me after doing what you did! Katsuki, are you just gonna act like you don’t know what you did?! Because I know! So why don’t you?!” You screamed at him. Bakugou still couldn’t believe you knew so he tried his soft attempts once more and reached out to you again.
“Baby, please calm dow-“
“Are you fucking serious Katsuki? You’re gonna tell me to calm down?!” You laughed out in disbelief. You watched as Katsuki’s lip began to tremble and he looked down in shame. “Say it.”
“What?” He spoke softly.
“Say what you did.”
“......”
“Say it Katsuki! Tell me what you did and how you betrayed not only me but your daughter too.” You specified. It took Bakugou a second before he spoke up in a soft, quiet voice.
“I cheated on you...”
“Louder.”
“I cheated on you!” He said while standing up and facing you with tears in his eyes. “I cheated on you! Okay?! I got drunk last night and slept with someone else but baby I swear I didn’t mean it!” He said as he walked to you and tried to hold you. You once again pushed his hands away before speaking back.
“It doesn’t matter if you meant it or not Katsuki! You still did it!” Your voice grew dry as it began to break. Your eyes pooled with tears as you continued. “I would’ve NEVER done that to you. I wouldn’t even be CAPABLE of doing that to you Katsuki! Because I love you!”
“I love you Y/N! I swear I do!” He fought back but you retaliated.
“It doesn’t seem like it! Because you slept with someone else! You promised me you would never hurt me. You promised you would always protect me. You promised me that you loved me and only me! Not only that but you promised your daughter that you would never bring harm to her! Guess what?! You’re the reason her whole life is going to be so fucked Katsuki! Do you realize that?!” You screamed at him.
“I do, Teddy Bear, I do!” He said.
“Don’t fucking call me that Katsuki!” You said with an exasperated voice. Bakugou shook his head as he walked to you and kneeled infront of you.
“Baby, please! I’m sorry! I was drunk, it didn’t mean anything! It was a mistake but if we can forget about this I promise I’ll make it up to you!” He begged.
“Forget? Forget?! Are you insane?! I’m never gonna be able to forget any of this Katsuki. How the hell am I supposed to forget that my first friend, my first love, my first kiss, my first everything betrayed me like this! How am I supposed to forget that my husband, who I’ve known since we were fucking babies, cheated on me?! Tell me!” You said as the tears finally fell.
“I don’t know...I don’t know but I promise I can make it up to you! So please forgive me! Please stay!” He pleaded. The whole time he couldn’t let go of you. Every time you pushed him off, he just came right back.
“How am I supposed to trust that you’ll actually keep that promise?” You said softly with a sad voice. “If it wasn’t clear already, I’m not staying. We’re getting a divorce, Katsuki.”
Bakugou felt his heart shatter. He looked at you with his trembling body and shaky irises. “W-What?”
“Katsuki...you cheated. There’s no other way around it. No explanations or excuses. And you can’t even blame it on the alcohol because I’ve been blackout drunk before too and the idea of cheating on you never even crossed my mind. You have nobody to blame but yourself.” You said with a broken voice and a shrug. “We’re getting a divorce and I’m taking Katsumi with me.” You said and began to walk to the door.
Bakugou couldn’t believe what he just heard and so he got up from his knees and ran after you. He ran in front of you and held you by the shoulders. “What?! No! Baby!! Please, that’s my daughter! You can’t just take her from me, please!”
“I won’t be taking her from you,” you said and pushed his hands off your shoulders. “We can co-parent, but when she’s old enough, when Katsumi asks why we’re no longer together, I’ll be telling her the truth. So you can still see her, but when she’s ready to know, if she decides she hates you and doesn’t want to see you ever again, then you’ll have to accept it.”
At this point, Katsuki began to openly cry as he allowed his fat tears to flow down his face. Hiccups left his mouth as he shamelessly sobbed infront of you. “Y-Y/N....please don’t go. You guys are my family, you’re both my entire world..I-I love you both so much,” he said and went in to grab your hand, which you allowed. “I know I hurt you both a-and I know I fucked up, but please just give me another chance. I swear this was just a mistake, I never meant to do it. Please stay...please let me fix my mistake. I love you.”
Tears once again filled your eyes but you didn’t allow them to flow. “.....I love you too Katsuki,” at those words, Bakugou felt a bit of hope. “But I just can’t stay with you. If it was just me..I probably would give you another chance..but Katsumi is your daughter Katsuki. She’s your own flesh and blood and you betrayed her. You’re supposed to be her hero and you betrayed her like this. I just can’t trust the fact that you won’t do something like this again, and not just for my sake but for our daughter’s too. I’m sorry, but this is where we end.”
Once you said that you walked away from Bakugou, leaving him in shock. He stood there, regretting everything. Not just his mistake, but all the times where he could’ve been a better husband.
‘I should’ve held her more..I should’ve been home more...I should’ve been more for them,’ he thought until he heard the door open and slam shut. He turned to face it and looked around the now very empty house. He allowed silent tears to drip down his face and then he took a little tour of his new environment.
He walked to the master bedroom and saw all your belongings gone. He saw your closet was empty, all your shoes gone. He went into the bathroom and saw all your stuff was missing. The tears flowed faster and when he walked into his daughter’s room, it made it 10x worse.
He opened the door to the pink room and saw her bedsheets missing, all her toys gone, her closet was barren, and her bathroom was hollow. He walked back out to his little girl’s former bed and sat down. He cried on the bed and sobbed into his hands. He broke down as he thought back to your words. You were right.
‘You have nobody to blame but yourself.’
Katsuki looked up from his hands and when he did, he took notice of the picture frame that was left faced down on the night stand. He picked it up and his heart turned to dust. It couldn’t break anymore. He looked at the picture of his once happy family. His beautiful wife, his blessing of a daughter. His two girls who had a protector...that protector was supposed to be him...and he failed. He smiled at the picture but continued to cry. It was a beautiful sight but you left it behind.
He took the picture with him as he walked to his bedroom. He sat on the bed and held the frame close to his chest as he layed down on the cold mattress. Tears still freely fell as a shadow casted over his eyes. No words could be said except for a few.
“N-Nobody to blame but myself.”

Non-Review: Free Comic Book Day 2021 - The Legend of Korra (Also Featuring Avatar: The Last Airbender)
With all the hype around 'Suki Alone,' it looks to me like most of the fandom missed that an additional Avatar comic with a story from each cartoon's era was just released for Free Comic Book Day. You can read them for yourself on either Dark Horse Digital or Comixology where it's mislabeled as being for ages 17+ (free accounts are required for both), but I'm sure one of the reasons you all love me is because of my willingness to jump in between you and these comics like the deadly bullets they can be. Well, I'm happy to die (metaphorically) for the sake of (a little anonymous internet) love, so I'm doing a full snarky review for each ten-page story. Also, I'm bored, and it's more fun to make fun of mediocre stuff than to praise stuff I like.
It's time for me to review "Free Comic Book Day 2021 - The Legend of Korra (Also Featuring Avatar: The Last Airbender)" or more specifically "The Legend of Korra: Clearing the Air" and "Avatar: The Last Airbender: Matcha Makers."
CLEARING THE AIR
The cover makes this look like a story about Jinora and Ikki having a sibling conflict. That's a lie. The Air Sisters arguing is merely the inciting incident for Tenzin telling a story of his youth. I should note that, as inconsequential as the Air Sisters stuff is, it's actually written very well because it posits Ikki as a victim of circumstance and Jinora as a bully who terrorizes her little sister with threats of getting thrown in jail by Metalbenders for an accident, cementing the characterization from the cartoon. This is not sarcasm. I really do think Jinora is presented by LoK as a Holier Than Thou little snot who just so happened to be naturally gifted with magic spirit-powers, but for some reason the rest of the fandom doesn't agree with me.
Anyway, Tenzin comes in to find the arguing (and Meelo just running amok for the fun of it and so far these characterizations are perfect), and rather than telling Jinora to shut her stupid face, he delivers a tale of his youth about conflict resolution.
So the meat of the story is how, when Tenzin was "a few years older" than Jinora, a pair of vandals got onto Air Temple Island and burned some graffiti into the spinning-panel things that Korra will destroy out of frustration during her Airbending training. Literally, the vandals are depicted as scorching the wood with enough smoke to be seen across a plaza. Tenzin goes after the vandals and they flee across the bay back to Republic City proper (one of the vandals is a Waterbender with a surf-plank). Tenzin pursues, catches them, and attacks them hard enough to smash some dockside crates. They are all then arrested by Metalbenders and dragged before Chief Toph. She's going to let Tenzin go (yay Toph!) and throw the vandals in jail (YAY TOPH!) and makes this face, and this entire comic is worth it:
Tumblr media
However, Aang arrives and instead arranges to forgo the jail-time in favor of an Air Nomad Conflict Resolution Ceremony. This is nice and in-character, but I'm totally with Tenzin that these vandals should have been thrown in jail. They literally burned insulting graffiti into antiques from a genocided culture. But instead, Aang demonstrates conflict resolution by having Tenzin explain why he's hurt and what needs to be done to redress the wrong. And so the vandals help Tenzin scrub the graffiti off the panels with water and rags and mops- how, I don't know, since they were literally burned.
They also do a ceremony thing where they each take turns bending their element into a central space between them to 'clear the air' (GET IT GET IT HA HA IT'S ALMOST LIKE A PUN BUT NOT), so it's a good thing they were all Benders because this is kinda racist. This fixes all the problems and everyone is friends. Yay!
In the present, though, things are not so nice, because Tenzin's kids are still screaming at and provoking each other. Korra comes in with Asami at the end to ask what's going on, and Asami says nothing, so I still think everyone is characterized with perfect consistency with the cartoon.
I made this sound silly, but (aside from the spinny-panels getting cleaned with a little water and elbow-grease, which doesn't matter because Korra will eventually blow them all up anyway), I actually like this one. It has Tenzin demonstrate how much he's always had to work to be the Perfect Air Monk that everyone expects him to be, and Aang acknowledges how this is unfair but that Tenzin will never let him down no matter what. It also has Katara come in at the end (for just one line, boo!) to acknowledge that this was an especially easy little conflict for Tenzin to practice on and he'll eventually face worse. I found it a nice adult moment in a story that's otherwise clearly aimed at 8-year-olds.
The art is good. It's simpler than the LoK cartoon, with flat colors, but it captures the story and has enough liveliness for everyone's character to come across in their look and body-language. The brief action-sequence where Tenzin attacks the vandals is well done, moving quickly but showing the full flow of the fight and every move Tenzin makes.
MATCHA MAKERS
Apparently, "Matcha is finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves, traditionally consumed in East Asia" according to Wikipedia. I had to look that up. I'm curious how many people understood the full reference in the title, especially since these comics are aimed at kids too young to be allowed on the internet.
This is a very simple story about Iroh in his tea-shop in Ba Sing Se. He has an assistant/waitress named Feng, a new character who wears glasses, ruining the hopes and dreams of all the fanfic-writers who were so sure he'd rescue Jin from the Lower Ring. A frequent patron of the tea shop is an elegant, older lady (very clearly Upper Ring material) named Li-Mei, who cannot go a single panel without giving Iroh a HEY BIG BOY look. She is very clearly smitten. Also, I feel the need to clarify that she knows his name is Iroh, so apparently Ba Sing Se is okay with the Dragon of the West serving tea to their wealthy. I don't say that as a criticism, I'm just noting it.
That night, Iroh meets up with his friends- the Pokemon-style spirits that we saw in Legend of Korra. (I don't know if they're the actual spirits from LoK, or just new spirits in the same style. This is because I would sooner grind matcha into my eyes than rewatch Book Spirits.) He serves them his special blend of tea and talks about how he's totally into Li-Mei but isn't going to pursue it because he's feeling old and doesn't want to take a risk. At this point, I could stop describing the plot because between the title and what I've said so far, I'm sure you could figure out every single plot beat that will follow.
The next day, the spirits trip Feng so that she drops Li-Mei's tea and Iroh needs to bring a replacement, and they've drawn hearts on top of the replacement tea with foam or sugar or milk or whatever. I don't know because I've never bought tea in a place that will even put the bag in the hot water for me. Iroh gets out of the situation without starting any love-affairs and runs into the back to tell the spirits to knock it off, dudes, they're totally embarrassing him! The spirits respond by giving him a flyer for a romantic restaurant. I don't know how they got it, so I can only assume that some Upper Ringer had their mail diverted.
Iroh refuses, so when Li-Mei orders more tea and he brings it to her, the spirits hover just out of her sight and threaten to smash the furniture. I am not making that up. They literally threaten to smash Iroh's furniture unless he asks the lady out. He submits to their tyrannical threats, Li-Mei happily accepts the date, he happily accepts her acceptance, and the story comes to a close. Iroh thanks his spirits friends for opening him up to new experience, but hopes that next time (so I guess Iroh is signing up for Tinder after this?) they won't threaten his shop.
At best, I can describe this story as 'harmless.' But it's been a long week and I just got a bunch more extra work at my day job that I really don't want to do, so I'm going to go ahead and call this story 'dumb.' It's rote, leans towards humor without actually being funny at all, and turns the spirits of the setting into Pokemon. And not even the cool dragon kind.
The art is strangely stiff. The coloring is soft and nice, but the drawings seems more 'assembled' than actually drawn. I swear there are even a few panels that reminded me of 'How I Became Yours' with janky poses, horrifying expressions, and just enough resemblance to the original cartoon to make me think a screenshot was partially traced and then ruined. (I'm not accusing the artist of tracing, BTW. I wouldn't even condemn the artist for tracing if they did. I'm just describing that HIBY feeling I got.) It was so stiff that rather than hear Iroh's dialogue in Mako's rich tones, I instead imagined Greg Baldwin doing a stiff Mako-impression with no naturalism to the delivery.
Tumblr media
This story is definitely worthy of its "Also Featuring" billing. I'd rate it below Gene Yang's Mai and Suki FCBD short stories, but above everything else he wrote for Avatar.
So there you go. Overall, this is very middle-of-the-pack for Avatar FCBD stuff. It's very much of the nature of the 'Team Avatar Tales' stuff, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Iroh story was a leftover from that project. On Free Comic Book Day, you often get what you pay for.

This is more of a opinion question rather than about the game, but I'm curious what you think- NISA's translation has Ouma's attraction to Saihara much more prevalent, like translating "my beloved Saihara" as "I love you, Saihara" in chapter 3 and in the love hotel when that wasn't in the japanese script As someone who does believe Ouma canonically is attracted to Saihara and as a translator, do you agree with these translations, even if they aren't direct translations?
Having recently seen the translated lines that you’rereferring to, I think this is a very interesting question. Translation isalways a difficult matter, moreso with the complications that arise when doinga localization rather than a direct translation. Certain nuances have to bedropped in favor of a wider understanding, including the ways that charactersrefer to one another or really clever jokes or puns that work for one languagebut not another. As a result, some ad lib does have to be done in just aboutevery translation ever, whether it’s official or fanmade—and sometimes, certaindecisions are taken to help emphasize a certain point about a character thatmight otherwise have gotten a little muddled or lost along the way.
Personally, I do agree with these particular translationdecisions! I believe that emphasizing Ouma’s attraction towards Saihara bymaking it somewhat more explicit helps get the point across pretty well. The mainpoint with Ouma’s dialogue is that he’s almost always: a.) cheeky, and b.)overly-familiar. In Japanese, the fact that he uses “-chan” as a suffix helpsto convey this feeling pretty well. “-chan” is very seldom used by boys in Japan,as familiarity (or rudeness) instead is typically expressed through a lack ofhonorifics, or a first-name basis, such as the one Momota strikes up withSaihara.
Ouma using “-chan” exclusively to refer to nearly everysingle character (except Kiibo and Gonta) in-game is an example of thesenuances that get somewhat lost in translation. Localizations rarely keephonorifics, because most western players simply aren’t accustomed to them.Introducing honorifics would either require teaching an entire westernplayerbase an aspect of Japanese language which they aren’t used to orinterested in, or else would be implemented without teaching or explaininganything, leaving players somewhat confused and lost as to the exact meaning ofthese suffixes.
In the original Japanese text, it’s not so much Ouma’s usageof “-chan” or his “my beloved” comments that convey that he’s explicitly, romantically interested in Saihara. Rather, it’s a combination of differentfactors, including the fact that he is so incredibly forward (increasingly so)all the way up through Chapter 4. Ouma’s over-familiarity and forwardness withcalling him “my beloved Saihara-chan” repeatedly (from around Chapter 2 andonwards), combined with his description of him as “interesting” and “entertaining”in his FTEs, combined with his actual description of Saihara as “the person Ifell in love with” in Chapter 4 all help to express that Ouma is clearly veryinterested in Saihara.
In my experience, I would say modifiers are used much morefrequently than direct expressions of love in Japanese. For instance, it’s muchmore common to use a descriptor like “suki na/daisuki na” than it is for acharacter to outright say, “I love you!” Even Maki’s love confession in Chapter5 follows the same pattern; rather than directly saying anything along thelines of “I’m in love with you” or “I love you,” she instead talks in asomewhat more indirect way, describing various instances in which it’s “thefirst time” that she’s felt this way, and “the first time that she’s fallen inlove with someone.”
In English, by contrast, there are plenty of modifiers andnicknames for significant others or people we’re interested in, but directconfessions and the usage of the phrase, “I love you” is fairly more common.Don’t get me wrong, it happens in Japanese as well—there are plenty of romanticsongs or shoujo manga which will feature a direct and often dramatic confession. But even nowadays in Japan, direct confessions of love tend to be a matter forprivate, rather than public circumstances, and even married couples sometimesshy away from words like “aishiteru.”
Substituting “I love you Shuuichi” for “my belovedSaihara-chan” works pretty well in both cases—moreso when we do know that Oumadescribes Saihara as “the person I fell in love with” directly later on. Sincethe scene in Chapter 4 isn’t part of his FTEs or love hotel scene, but adirect, unskippable scene within the game, that means that his interest inSaihara is pretty unambiguous and a pretty important part of the narrative.Emphasizing that interest of his in other scenes helps reinforce the fact thatOuma is being both extremely cheeky and extremelyforward.
I think it’s worth pointing out too that once Ouma startsbeing quite so forward in Chapter 2, the question arises from that point on asto whether he’s lying or not. Saihara is intimidated by him because he can’ttake his words at face value. In his inner narration after Ouma calls him “mybeloved Saihara-chan” for the first time, he even says that “if someone likehim says that, it sounds like he means the complete opposite.” Therefore, a largepart of the game is spent wondering whether Ouma is actually serious aboutbeing interested romantically in Saihara—up until Chapter 4, when Ouma confirmsit himself in a scene where no one else is around.
For Ouma’s love hotel scene too, I don’t see any problems inparticular with tweaking the “my beloved Saihara-chan” line to “I love you,Shuuichi,” particularly as most of the love hotel scenes are supposed to havepretty romantic undertones to them. Regardless of the fact that they’re notcanon, some of the love hotel scenes can still offer insight into what thecharacters are like. All of the love hotel scenes are supposed to be basedaround the idea of each character’s “ideal romantic partner.”
In Ouma’s case, that “ideal romantic partner” just sohappens to be a detective chasing after him as he performs his phantom thiefantics—a situation where even Saihara notes that Ouma is “still the same asever,” even in his fantasies. And again, he notes that even though he’ssupposed to be Ouma’s ideal partner, “if he tells me he likes me, it soundslike he’s definitely lying.” Once again, the question of whether or not tobelieve Ouma is of pivotal importance to the scene. Having the question revolvearound whether he actually meant it when he said “I love you, Shuuichi” makessense then, from a narrative perspective.
This is just my take on the matter, anyway! I find it alittle sad that many people who aren’t happy with these particular translationdecisions are now throwing accusations of “fujoshi-baiting” or similar lines. It’soften a struggle to have canonically confirmed gay characters in any form ofmedia. When lines are left even slightly open to interpretation, some peoplewill always say that the character “isn’t really gay” because it was “intentionallyleft ambiguous.” The burden of proof is always put on a gay character to “prove”exactly how gay they are—and yet, the moment proof is actually given oremphasized using context from the original script, some people are still unhappywith it and claim that it’s just “pandering” or “baiting.”
As someone who is gay, I don’t mind these particulartranslations because I think the idea of emphasizing a character’s gayness sothat it doesn’t become lost in translation or “ambiguous” is a good thing, andI think that it’s something that should be more normalized. Usually theopposite problem arises in translations; homophobia is still a big problem inboth Japan and the west, and it’s not uncommon for translations to try and “toneit down” whenever a character is expressly confirmed gay. If anything, I’mvery, very glad that that wasn’t the case this time.
Many people assumed that Ouma’s confession to Saihara inChapter 4 “came out of left field,” but that’s not quite the case—Ouma hasmany, many lines in the original Japanese script where he not only talks toSaihara on an overly-forward, familiar basis, but also where he says he’s “alwaysthinking of his beloved Saihara-chan,” that he wants him to be happy, etc. Theselines are meant with a romanticimplication (hence Saihara’s bewilderment, and the fact that he never knows howto take what Ouma’s saying or whether to believe him or not), and since it’ssomewhat hard to convey them with the exact same meaning without the use ofsuffixes or the understanding of different nuances in Japanese, I thinktranslating them as a direct, “I love you” is a little ad lib, but itdefinitely works.
In any case, this was a very fun question, anon. Thank youso much! The localization isn’t very far away at all and I’m extremely excitedto be able to play and enjoy the game once again when it comes out—and duringthe wait, it’s a lot of fun to discuss different translation choices! Thanksagain, and I hope I could answer your question!
