a/n; look at me being fancy this one panel banner, slay. tbh i couldn't think of a good three photos to use for it so i tried this which is kind of nice. anyways i had a sudden thought hit me and it must be done. and what better anime to write for than the one where everyone has unexplainable gay tension between each other. i swear im as caught up as possible i think and i swear the gay tension is like,, crazy.

isagi yoichi is endearing. he's so bad at being normal around you. his face flushed a cute red, and his words barely managing to leave his mouth as you talk to him so sweetly. he doesn't know how to handle a crush. and it's so cute to tease him because he just doesn't know how to respond properly.

the times where he does manage to gain enough confidence to talk a conversation with you, he's never taking the lead in any of them. he's talking [somewhat] normally to you, answering your questions and [attempting] to reply to your thoughts and responses. of course, just don't flirt with him too hard. there's like a 50 percent chance he will understand it or not.

he can't even admire you correctly. when he attempts to give you a compliment, he's saying all the wrong words and apologizing profusely like he offended your entire bloodline. he's so utterly enchanted by you, he wonders if you're an angel sent just for him.

"you're so nice, y/n." "huh?" "i-i mean you're really cute! wait- i didn't mean that! fuck- not that i don't think you look cute! you're really a great person, you know?! sorry! i'm just gonna go back to practice...!"

when he manages to get on his feet, whether it's for a soccer match or you, he's stuck by you like a cute koala. he whines about everything being "too much of a hassle." but he finds himself walking around looking for you, no matter how far you are. he whines to you about how he had to get up to find you, and he's cuddling close to you. his mouth turned into his signature X shape as he pouts at you, annoyed that you just had to be away from him for more than a minute.

he tries so hard to be around you but at the cost of his laziness, he mutters to you about how much easier it would be if you just stay with him all the time like his purple-haired companion or his cactus pet. he fell for you first, but he makes it so easy for you to fall harder.

shidou ryuusei is annoyingly desperate for you. if isagi was endearing, shidou was insolent. he speaks before he thinks. he has no shame in chasing after you. it's quite a feat that you haven't even shooed him away as much as sae has. you sort of find a friend in sae because of that. he always rolls his eyes when you mention him. he wonders why you keep being around the blonde jock, and you tell him, "who doesn't love a pathetic man?"

when he talks to you, he just can't read a room with you in it. he's the type of guy to say "this shot is for you." and it hits the goal post and then to his face. of course he'd never actually miss in a real match but i can guarantee that it would happen during a practice match. he unintentionally humiliates himself every time he tries to be cool. if sae is there, it's even worse. he's trying to bump up the flirting up to a 200 and failing miserably to woo either of you.

he's like those tweets where it's like, "how did i pull them? easy. i just went, PLEASEPLEAPLSEPWPLEAPLELA-". without fail, he basically tries to re-enact that but he doesn't even pull you because you'd much rather wait for him to actually be a decent man and grow the rest of his brain. though it doesn't seem he'll learn his lesson anytime soon.

bachira meguru is confusing. he's clingy, blunt, teasing, a little stupid but has the spirit, and an absolute cutie. he's passionate about what he likes. and surprise, surprise, he likes you. he's an infodumper but you don't mind at all. but sometimes those talks take a hard left into just telling you how much he likes you. you better hope you're strong because he will be jumping on you for a hug.

when he's just buzzing with excitement, he can't help but scramble by your side to cling onto you in any way that you will allow him to. he's not as boy failure as the others on this list because even when he fails to capture your heart, he's still succeeding in his book. he loves when you give him any sliver of attention. that's probably his thing as a boy failure. he is a hyper and needy dog who's too big to cuddle with but doesn't care. and you can't say no because then they just stare at you with those big eyes until you cave.

he's the type of guy to be confused when people ask if you're dating him and you say no. sae blinks, looking toward the water when you ask the question. it's getting cold outside - his fingers are red and numb and his cheeks hurt a little from the wind. the sun set what feels like eons ago, but when you're sitting next to him in the flesh he can't find it in himself to move.

he turns slowly to look at you. you, with your head resting on the knees pulled into your chest. you, with your hair blowing softly in the ocean breeze. you, with that stupidly hazy look in your eyes. distant. it makes his heart sink to the pit of his stomach. he might be ill.

"i don't know. maybe."

your gaze shifts to him suddenly and he nearly jolts out of his skin at the eye contact. you'd been refusing to look at him for the last while, not that he can blame you.

"maybe?" you repeat, looking away again and focusing on the little hole you're digging into the sand with your feet.

he doesn't respond to that, unable to acknowledge your words without the fear that the lump growing in his throat would turn into a sob. the silence stretches long and thin between you as you both sit there in the sand, listening to the waves crashing against the shore.

your relationship was always like that, too. pushing and pulling, water meeting the shoreline and then retreating again. over and over and over.

you notice his quietness, uncharacteristically heavy even for a man so stoic and blunt like him. "sorry. forget i asked."

sae nods, but the question still burns in his mind. he dares to look at you again, this time taking in everything that had changed about you. it'd been nearly a decade, after all. you had grown, matured, maybe gotten just a hair taller. you're still beautiful in a way that steals the air from his lungs and refuses to return it. he has to tear his eyes away from you again when he feels the desire to reach out and touch you, just to see if you're really there beside him. instead, he just sits still with his fingers twitching where they rest in his lap.

"how was your flight home?" you ask him, but you're not even sure if he would call japan home anymore with how long he's been gone.

"it was fine."

"that's good."

another awkward silence.

"did you have a good time in spain?" there's a bitter twinge in your voice. he's not surprised.

he nods again, even though he knows you're not looking. you continue anyways, because you know him so well. regardless of the years you have his every response mapped out.

he swallows down the thickness in his throat at your words, still supportive even though he was chasing his dream instead of being with you. he still remembers the day he left, the day he stepped onto that plane and couldn't bear to look you in your eyes as he did so. he didn't even watch the airport disappear into the distance from the window. he couldn't. not knowing you were down there.

when he landed in europe he thought he only had two choices: the first was to break your heart gently, softly, delicately. break your heart in a way that would give you hope for his return home. break your heart in a way that would keep you loving him, clinging to the threads of your relationship despite the distance. his other option, of course, was to break your heart cruelly.

he didn't decide which he needed to do until he read his contract for royale and realized he would be in spain for much, much longer than anticipated.

and so he was merciless when he broke your heart. he didn't even spare you a goodbye, just blocking your number and severing all ties with you after giving you a prompt, underwhelming text explaining how he had fallen out of love with you. how you meant nothing to him. he thought he knew you. he thought this was the best for the both of you. he was just a stupid fucking teenager.

you and sae had grown up together. for as long as he could remember you were side by side. and so that night he closed his eyes, pictured the face you must be making as you read his text, and turned his phone off. being a childhood friend had its perks, but right now it was a heavy burden on his heart.

what followed was complete and utter radio silence. eventually you stopped counting the days, the months, the years, and gave up on contacting him ever again. it hurt. more than he would ever know, it hurt. it's why your first instinct when he showed up unannounced at your front door was for you to slam it in his face.

he's back in japan now and nostalgia claws at his throat until he can't breathe, just by simply being in your presence.

"yeah, it went well." and he doesn't elaborate any more than that. he doesn't know how much longer you'll tolerate sitting next to him, after all. he's not going to waste time talking about what he did in spain when you're so clearly irritated about it.

sae watches you carefully. your stare lingers on him for a moment too long before you're turning to face the sea again. "why'd you have to leave me behind?" you ask him with your voice low and eyes misty. a breeze blows the hair into your face and he can no longer see the expression you're making. that's better, he thinks. better for the heart pulsing weakly in his chest.

"i had to," he tells you matter-of-factly, like he always used to.

"i know. fuck, i get it. you went to go follow your dreams or whatever. i just wish i was a part of them." you sound frustrated beyond reason.

"maybe you could have been."

you laugh at this, dry and humourless and bitter. "yeah, right."

you hear him shuffle around a bit before he stands, towering over you. his hand extends out, a silent offer for you to take it. you, horrifically, do.

with the chilly wind of dusk growing wilder, the waves roll loudly onto the sand. you can hear as they crash rhythmically against the shore, even over the screaming of your heart in your ears. being beside him again is surreal, the warmth of his hand inviting you to crawl back into his arms.

"i missed you," you blurt out before you can even stop the words from tumbling. it's mortifying, the expression you make. if he weren't grieving what he lost right now, sae might have laughed. he makes a funny face at you instead, twisted up with guilt and an indescribable amount of anguish.

"i missed you, too. every day. every moment i was thinking about you," he finally lets out the words he'd been refusing to acknowledge for the better part of his adulthood. he says them so quietly, the statement carried away by the breeze.

you look unconvinced as you step away from him. one step back, then two, then you're standing out of reach from him. his heart aches dully in his ribcage.

you may (unfortunately still) love him, but you're not sure you can forgive him. not for leaving like he did. not for never calling. not for breaking your heart. not for showing up at your door without warning and dragging you out of the house on the first day he's back in japan.

his mouth opens and closes as you watch him wearily, unsure of what to say. unsure of how to make things right. unsure how he could ever forgive himself. emotion swims in his expression, though he does a better job at hiding it than a normal person would. nothing about itoshi sae is quite normal.

he stands there for a moment, allowing the rejection to sink in. he's torn between accepting your rejection or screaming into the night sky that he still loves you, that he wants to hold you and beg and grovel on his knees for your forgiveness even though he knows he doesn't deserve it. it's overwhelming and eventually he cracks, a choked sob leaving him.

he flushes partly in embarrassment and partly in shame while he allows himself to fall apart in front of you. he's always so level headed, cool and calm and collected and you're not sure you can vividly remember a time he cried other than when he fell off his bike when you were both nine and he scraped his chin on the pavement.

you hate seeing him cry. watching sae cry is like taking a dagger to the heart. you can feel the remorse in every sob that leaves his mouth, because he never does this - not for himself and certainly not for other people. you would feel flattered if it were any other circumstance.

so you sigh, swiftly stepping back into his arms and gathering his face into your hands. you guide him to your shoulder where you let him cry, just like you used to when you were kids.

he leans into you, arms staying by his side in fear that you might scurry away again if he tries to hold you. he lets out deep, shaking breaths as he tries to compose himself. he breathes in the smell of you, of your shampoo, of the spray you're wearing. it's intoxicating.

"i'm sorry."

"i know," you tell him. it doesn't go unnoticed that you leave out any signs of forgiveness.

"i regret it every day. i still do, even after all this time."

"do you?" you hum. your fingers run gently through his hair, brushing out the tangles that you used to scold him for not combing when you were younger.

your touch is driving him crazy. he wants to kiss you and hold you close and never let you go again. he loves you so much, it almost feels as if it'll consume and drown him like tides in the ocean if he doesn't tell you now. he doesn't, for his sake and yours.

he's silent for some time so you ask him quietly, "was it lonely?"

"yes," his answer is instantaneous. his voice shakes with grief, the realization of everything he lost crashing down on him like waves in the sea. he wants to grab you and scream in your face that some part of his soul still yearns for you. instead he just cries. "maybe i deserved it, though. for treating you the way i did."

you huff with what sounds like laughter, and for the first time in almost a decade his poor heart races in his chest. "rin always did badger me about that. asking why i was dating you when you were a jerk," you muse. there's not an ounce of malice behind your tone, no hidden sting. you're just reminiscing, he realizes. "that's okay. he didn't know his scary big brother was such a softie."

he grumbles a little in weak protest, face buried into your neck where his nose pokes into the skin. your body is so warm, the same way he remembers dreaming about it in spain.

"i'm sorry," he says again.

another sigh escapes you as you lightly pry him off your shoulder. you're frowning as you fret over him, taking his cheeks into your hands and twisting him around so you can examine him closely. your eyes drag all over his face, drinking in how much he's grown, how tired he looks and the bags under his eyes. he can't find it in himself to feel embarrassed anymore.

sae feels like every moment in his life leading up until now has been nothing more than a series of failures. he crumbled in spain, changed his dream from being a striker to a midfielder, lost contact with rin, and most of all he hurt you. again and again, countless times.

most people would take one look at sae and think he has his whole life together. but you know him, sanity stitched loosely together every time he tries to pick himself back up again. he always thought that keeping his head high and loving forward despite his regrets would never catch up to him.

Makoto's palace is an abandoned lighthouse on a deserted island

HERE IS MY UP-TO-DATE P5R CHARACTER RANKING bc i think it will be funny if i post this now and then come back when i am later in the game and see that my opinions were severely bad and wrong. also i am doing phantom thieves only (but know shiho would be second if she were in the ranking)

(DISCLAIMER: you cannot get mad at me for my opinion on people who have not showed up yet okay. i have been avoiding spoilers and i know nothing about them so i just know what has happened IN THE GAME SO FAR. also very long post i went off about some people sorry about that)

1. ANN TAKAMAKI - MY GIRL OF ALL TIME. what can i say, i love myself a silly blonde girl. i think my favorite thing about ann is how she’s portrayed as both strong and emotional - she is consistently shown to be resilient, capable, and tough, but she also deals with her emotions in the same way that a teenage girl in her position would. it makes me happy to see that bc not a lot of characters get that right and i hate seeing emotional girls always being the pathetic ones. also i know she’s not canonically sapphic but she does feel very deliberately sapphic to me if that makes sense. having it be canon would be nice, but in a way, the fact that her and shiho have a very sapphic relationship without it being called that reflects what being young and confused about sexuality is like. it’s very common among teenage lesbians, and i know it probably wasn’t the devs’ intention to accurately portray sexuality confusion, but they did a good job of it on accident regardless. anyways i love and adore ann i am hugging her hugging her hugging her and pressing her lips to shiho's as if they're barbies

2. haru okumura - OKAY LOOK. LOOK. i know she hasn't shown up... i know she hasn't said anything besides that one time i saw her in the hallway and she talked about plants to a random teacher for 10 seconds... I KNOW BUT BUT SHE'S SO SKRUNKLY LOOK AT HER. she is so soft looking so silly looking i want to hug her so much. i am reserving this second place spot for her, if it turns out i don't like her as much as i thought then that's fine but nobody knows Girl Of All Time Vibes better than me and she has them

3. yusuke kitagawa - YUSUKE MY BEST FRIEND YUSUKE. I LOVE AND ADORE HIM SOSOSOSOSOSO MUCH... i honestly didn't expect to like yusuke when he first showed up but as soon as he spoke i was like. oh. Oh This Guy. LIKE HE'S SO SILLY he makes me giggle with how he's just so like. WEIRD. but i genuinely don't see how people find him creepy - the fact that he doesn't have any harmful intentions is very clear and he's just a guy who fumbles every social interaction he's ever in and i want to be his best friend for it I LOVE HIM.

4. ryuji sakamoto - I LOVE RYUJI HE'S SUCH A GUY TO ME i love him being best friends with ann and i love his stupid comments he is so funny fr

ahhhh !!! i want to talk about this so bad thank you for asking!! spoilers for the manga up to chp 202 in this, so cont below the cut !!

ok ok ok so i posted the favorite character list and then, like, a day later i kinda fell in love with kunigami. in my defense, i had only read up to 78 when i made that post and then kunigami proceeded to do a series of things that made me insane: (1) lost the game w isagi, thus giving up chigiri, (2) got in a fight with shidou, who kind of drives me insane (derogatory), (3) chose the wild card door and then fucking disappeared???? and then (4) came back Changed™. i am so normal about the all of that. so so so normal.

but okay so basically, i am SO intrigued by kunigami's new development. the general "disappear and come back different" is SO interesting. i may just be missing some pieces, i kinda speed ran the manga instead of looking tooooo in depth, and now i'm kinda going back through and finding all the little details--so please lmk if i'm not seeing major bits or if i'm interpreting things wrong!!

but overall, the goal was to create the next noel noa, right? like, physique-wise? but like,,,, what did they actually do. i am sooo curious about whatever the fuck happened to him. i actually have so many questions and i. i don't even know where to start.

i was actually gonna make a post abt this--i decided not to because idk i didn't want to be annoying or whatever (which is stupid because this is the being annoying or whatever website, but i digress)--so i could talk about kunigami post-wild card and about chigiri and kunigami's friendship! the main point of the post was that i got SO invested in their friendship when they teamed up in the second selection in chp 44:

they're truly one of my favorite dynamics to come out of team z (bachira and isagi being my number one favorite, of course), and i'm so intrigued to see what's going to happen with them. i think it's also really interesting to look at the moments after the game (chp 68), right, okay because several things stick out to me there. so, first of all, isagi's words to reo:

which sticks out to me because what the whole "wild card" deal feels like to me is very much a "choose your fate" situation...like, kunigami could have exited OR he could have gone through the second door, not knowing what's behind it, and not being able to undo it. but this moment is also him taking charge of his fate and his future--on one hand, he's on his way out and he's kind of grasping at straws to stay and change his future, but he's also still reaching out and doing it, yk? i also wonder how many other people took this path--and even how many other people were offered the option in the first place.

in his last game, neither of them where "the one that chooses." reo got picked to join the other team. kunigami was the one who was left behind. but he still got to choose the second door. and i think that taking charge and making deliberate choices are both huge parts of succeeding at blue lock.

the wild card is also interesting because kunigami trades having to win every game / be the loser who gets picked by the other players in exchange for getting to the next phase but, like, at what fucking cost? he seems to have been hand chosen by ego after a different training and selection, but again, at what fucking cost?

so anyways, the other thing that happened after that match is what chigiri says specifically to kunigami:

this is interesting to me because this reminds me a LOT of what nagi and reo talk about in the germany v england match later on. in the beginning of the second selection, nagi talks about wanting to learn better soccer by being with isagi, then in the third selection, nagi says that his new whole goal is to beat isagi. if i recall correctly, him and reo start syncing up again in part bc of this goal to beat isagi.

so chigiri incentivizing kunigami by saying that WE have to win against ISAGI is reaaaallyyyy interesting. also, chigiri calling kunigami "hero" makes my little heart beat, but that's a side note.

this moment also makes me insane because it ALSO feels like a parallel to the bachira & isagi "i won't wait for you...if you want me, come and steal me" moment. i'm not quite sure what to make of any of that, but this is all spinning around in my head on a microwave dish.

then the other thing spinning in my head is the moment prior to the germany v england match, with chirigi, reo, and kunigami talking to each other (chp 173):

so coupla things here ig? first, "the same old you i knew" versus the switch from "hero" to "cynic hero." that's notable to me. not sure why. but it is. i think also this idea of fighting the same old you is really interesting because a huge theme i'm seeing in this manga on the first read through is the idea of change and evolution. there's no such thing as "the same old you" because they have all leveled up so much, they've all changed and grown and developed and evolved into something new--chigiri himself included.

so...maybe kunigami has a point that they DO all need to let go of who he used to be. the problem is that the person he used to be is so hard to let go of, especially when no one has seen this change happen or knows why it happened.

that being said, the idea of chigiri "waking him up" is kind of driving me up the walls. i feel like someone has to knock some light into kunigami again, but i have no idea how that's going to happen. i think it's hard because, in a lot of metrics, he's ranked really high and being really successful; whatever the wild card path was, it did something "right."

that being said, i then don't see much change in environment coming along, or any change in how his training is happening. if anything is going to change, it's going to be via some mid-game internal discourse sparked by isagi; and i think it would be most satisfying if chigiri was really important there too. but again, i don't think that it's coming soon, maybe not even in this general arc?

tbh, ultimately, i think, long term, kunigami won't make it to the best 23 as he is. that's not to say it's impossible for him to make it to the u20 team, but i think the way that he's going right now isn't going to be good enough to make it. he is genuinely performing really well, but i also can't see anyone building a team around him as a center point in the same way that the manga is constantly talking about building teams around isagi's most notable rivals and top competition (ex. kaiser, rin, and even nagi).

kunigami is great as his own little point of gravity, but no one is orbiting around him. which is actually really, really sad to me, because i think he truly could have been one of the best there if the circumstances had been even just slightly different. blue lock is truly so so tragic because there is so much skill in that prison and so much of it is being wasted and for what.

and kunigami honestly, from the very beginning, was always going to be hurt more than helped by blue lock. he was set up as a character who runs by fair play, someone who will win and will fight but will also still play by the rules. at the end of the day, yes, he gets results: he scored a goal in the first selection. but he also split his meal with isagi. he still rewarded the assist. that's not the goal of blue lock.

isagi kinda acknowledges something similar when he wins against him in the second selection, too. kunigami is strong and a great player, but he's not going to "devour" the others on the field in the same way so many others are going to do and going to try to do.

something about either the circumstances (blue lock) or kunigami himself was going to have to change in order for him to come out of this on top, and blue lock's rules aren't going to be changing any time soon.

idk. his story just feels so sad to me already and we don't even know how it ends yet.

Omega: (Holding a Flashlight In Front of his Face) And so, as the poor, defenseless paper silently accepts it's fate as it approaches the small yet menacingly machinery, it's body slowly begins to get torn down towards the bottom of the bin as the once proud specimen has now been reduced to small, tiny pieces of substance. Now all the device of destruction can do now is wait. Wait for another unlucky soul to meet the similar demise by it's operating functions, with no care or remorse whatsoever. The End.

Everyone in the room begins to applaud the Ultimate E-Series robot as the lights turns back on.

Futuba: (Smiles Brightly) Nice one, big guy!~

Sojiro: (Standing Behind the Counter) Was not expect a paper shredder to be intimidating until now. Nicely done.

Omega: (Stands Up and Bows Towards his Peers Beside Both Sides of Him) Thank you all for the applause. It has took me approximately two hours, fifteen minutes, and thirty-six seconds to come up with this story in particular before approaching here. Sojiro turns the lights back off as Sae holds the flashlight and turns it on in front of her.

Sae: One day, on a bright, sunny afternoon of September, a young, up and coming prosecutor begins her second week working at the Tokyo District Special Investigation Department. As she steps inside her office however, she was greeted to very horrific sight. One where no men or women should ever have to see on any afternoon workday: tall, poorly structured, mountain top-

Sae: (Slowly Turns her Head to Sojiro with a Deadpinned Look on her Face) .........Yes, Sojiro. Paperwork.

Lavenza: (Smiles Softly) Oh I wouldn't say the process is all terrible. It could be a relaxing experience every once and a while. Especially when you get to listen to your selection of music throughout all of it.

Omega: (Nodded in Agreement) Agreement concede. It could also be served as a time waster depending on the workers' working schedule.

Sae: True, but whenever I do them, it would always lead me to get off later than usual, thus making me even more exhausted.....(Smiles a Little) But it's nice to see you two find some enjoyment out of it. Which reminds me.....(Turns Back to the Young Velvet Girl) Lavenza-san, would you like to tell us a horror story next?

Lavenza: (Happily Nodded) Of course! It's been a while since I've done some storytelling, so you'll have to forgive me if I get rusty on a few areas.

Futuba: (Smiles Brightly) Nah, don't worry. You'll do just. I mean, your story can't be any worse than what your boyfriend here came up with.

Omega: I highly find that information inaccurate. Last week, I saw a nearby alley cat get struck by a bolt of lightning and was able to get himself back up approximately ten point fifty-seven seconds later.

Futuba: (Raises her Hands Up) Exactly! If a cat survived a freaking lightning to the face, then we're pretty sure the one from your story could get through eating some nasty, rotten can of catnip in his sleep.

Morgana: (Rolls his Eyes) Highly doubt that, but whatever floats your boats I guess....

Lavenza: (Smiles Softly Towards her Boyfriend Beside Her as She Hugs Him) Cheer up, Mona-Chan. I thought your catnip was a spendid horror story.

Haru: (Happily Nodded in Agreement) Mmhm. And very well detailed as well.

Sojiro: ('Sigh') Alright, alright, settle down. We don't have all night here. Lavenza?

Lavenza: (Eyes Widened a Bit) Ah. Yes.

Lavenza clears her throat before she was given a flashlight as she begins to tell her tale.

Lavenza: Long ago, there once was a boy who decided to tag along with his group of friends to venture through a nearby forest after their time at school has ended for the day. The trip itself was normal enough at first, but eventually, as they've gotten more farther into the woods, the boys soon realized how.....eerily dark the atmosphere has gotten. The wind begins to blow harshly, the branches start to creek slowly, many of the owls' bright eyes begins to slowly stare down upon the lost travelers, and the wolves and coyotes could be heard howling in the minimum distance. The boy tries to talk his friends into calming down, with little success, but it was unfortunately short lived as he hears a murderous growl behind him. As he slowly turns around, the boy and friends were greeted to a horrific sight of a giant, abnormal beast glaring at them int he shadows. Sharp claws, razor blade teeth, and eyes that could stare upon your entire soul an instant. These details were more than enough for the childern to runaway to dear life. Unfortunately, the boy, running behind them, manage to trip and gets his foot stuck under a tree branch. He's tries....and tries.....and tries as hard as he could to get himself out. He able to succeed of course, but with the cost of his life as a dark, shadowy hand grabs hold of his body, yanking him back to the depths of darkness, ripping him shreads in a matter of seconds!The loud, vicious roar and the screeching scream for help and agony were the only few noises echoing through the other children's ears as they continued running back to their homes, all of them being too afraid to even think about turning their heads around. The next day goes by and the group of childern has decided to never speak or step foot on that cursed forest for as long as they live, despite the guilt weighing on each of their hearts to tis day.. And thus, the young boy.... their one and only friend...and the unfortunate victim....was never heard from.....ever. again. (Smiles Brightly) The End~

The entire café went completely silent in shock and fear as Sojiro turns the lights back on.

Sae: Well......That was.....a something alright.

Morgana: Guys, I think my girlfriend beats us all in the story department.

Haru/Sae Mmhmm/I see no objections to that.

Futuba/Omega: Yep.

Lavenza: ('Gasps') I have? Truly (Raises her Hands Up in Glee) Horray!~ I didn't even know it was a contest.

Sojiro: It wasn't. You just had a more terrifying story than everyone. Hell, I don't even think my story could ever come close to topping that....

Lavenza: (Turns to Sojiro) What would your story be about, Mr. Sojiro?

Sojiro: Something coffee related.

That all being said, I can't belIEVE it took me this long to comment on 2 of Cups! Okay, so, when part 1, and 2, came out, I had no idea who Rin and Sae were. I didn't even know what Blue Lock was, just that it's a manga/anime. I was like oh, okay, cool! I read part one anyway, and was all like "... I gotta watch this. If the anime isn't out yet, I gotta watch it as soon as it DOES come out." (I'm an anime only, because I almost always give characters the exact same voice if I have nothing to go off of 😒 I struggle with it fr fr. anYWAY—) So, I don't... Think? I'd read part 2 yet, tbh I think I completely forgot about it, the memory is NOT good, I'm so sorry! So when the anime DID come out, I wasn't actually aware 😅 until they uploaded episode, like... 10? Or 11? Of the English Dub? AnywAY! THE POINT Is, I started watching because of things I've read, I was TIRED of looking up every single character when I read about them 😭 SO, I watched, got caught up to where it is now, and am waiting for the next episode, and you mention 2 of Cups part 3 is coming out, and I was like "oH SHIT, I REMEMBER READING PART 1!" So, I went back, read parts 1 and 2, absolutely ADORED them, despite the pain 🥹 Like, Rin's pining, but not wanting to do anything because of SAE, that little bitch, that won't admit he's the sAME and keeps being an AsS when Rea-chan and Rin are even remotely affectionate, AaAAAAHHHH! And I was so exCITED for part 3! And then part 3 came out, and... It absolutely bLEW MY IMAGINATION OUT OF THE PARK, LIKE!! !! finished the good place and my habit of reading vague spoilers and getting the wrong impression once more got me, although not as badly as my first playthrough of p5 when I skimmed over a discussion (because I was trying to avoid spoilers lol) and thought someone had said a character went to jail for ten years at the end so when Sae was asking Joker to turn himself in I was like "so help me god I WILL reload and sell out fictional humanity if you do this, game". this was much milder misunderstanding.

(I have sold out fictional humanity once or twice anyway just to see that ending but look there's a save point it's fine)

anyway the good place was a really nice show. Going in I kind of expected it to be more of a "laugh out loud" comedy--like, there are definitely jokes and most of them are fine but I think there was only one or two crack up moments for me (and while there was definitely previous tumblr exposure I don't think that accounts for all of it)--but it's still a really nice, lighthearted and fun show with a sweet message.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE HIS DAD. (I would die for you!!!) and I have a very bad feeling that he's going to die. Like something in my head is tingling, I hope I'm proven wrong because he's so sweet and so real and Sae Ro Yi literally bawled for him.

Anyway for now we have seen:

A random girl whose definitely the lead talk to a therapist about dying. Real.

Her therapist being a little too chill with all of this, maybe because she's not fazed by it or this is normal? (I'm a little concerned)

Flashback already. We are doomed as we find out this has been Sae Ro Yi's go to hairstyle since he was 17 !!!

Annoying teacher things happen. A girl has a crush on him, and reveals it, she is stronger than me and is my inspiration moving forward. Gets rejected like rudely like he doesn't even say no or anything just walks past her LMAO?

Bumps into this girl being rude and she's just rude to him again. They meet at an orphanage where his dad works and she meets him again, does NOT apologize for her rude ass behaviour (like babe he could've failed his exam and you're weirdly rude) continues being rude. He ends up sitting next to her in school, even though he misses his bus to avoid being with her at the bus stop I guess. Messes with a bully (#REAL) and gets punished for it.

Honestly, up until then I was just mildly annoyed by everyone. Like I do not like or care about any of you but him breaking down at the thought of his dad resigning and his dad actually sticking by his son warmed my heart.

Okay, now back to regular programming.
