Wow, That Scene between Hope and Diyoza was so powerful that I was legit in tears despite the fact that we weren’t introduced to this relationship until this season, meanwhile O and E/cho have known each other since season 3 and I felt nothing but Peak Awkardness while watching O comfort E/cho.

Yeah so this episode showed that E was fully aware that Clarke was one of the most important people in Bellamy’s life. Maybe Bellamy didn’t let her or anyone see the full blown breakdown he had over her death last season and just how deep that connection was and how much he relied on it, but E knows full well that he loves her.
We can take 2 things from this. First, that in s5 she must’ve had some idea what she was doing when she tried to kill Clarke. But to E, betrayal warrants death. Even after all that time on the ring, she doesn’t know anything of substance about Bellamy. She doesn’t know that Bellamy wouldn’t ever want Clarke dead, even if she did betray them. Flash forward to now, she genuinely doesn’t know or understand what Bellamy would do in this situation.
And second, is that she completely hates that. Bellamy is all she has. He’s her leader. He represents direction and meaning and was the in to the only “family” she’s ever had. And yet she doesn’t know him at all. Maybe they can be casual together, and laugh together. She knows he’s a good fighter, and hates algae. She knows the things that their little bubble allowed her to know. But the deep parts? What he does in a crisis? How he feels, where he finds his meaning? She has no idea. Unfortunately for her, that’s the part of Bellamy that Clarke and only Clarke really knows. And yeah she’s kind of bitter about that. Bellamy is the biggest thing in her life, and yet Clarke gets a piece of him that she doesn’t. Now her purpose for living is dead, and she’s being slapped in the face with the fact that so much of what she was holding onto was fragile and ultimately meaningless. What does she do now?

I love the parallel they did between echo and Bellamy and Clarke and Bellamy. Echo and Bellamy first. She asked if this new faith meant more to him then her and the family, and he goes yes. He was so unemotional and didn't even cry. With Clarke, he tries to convince her he is the same person and that he's doing this for her and their family. And he is so heartbroken when he speaks.

Every time jroth opens his mouth, I lose motivation to watch.
Bellamy fucking hated Ec.ho for 3 years and she never lead shit. Jfc
I don't like Ec.ho. Stop making us try to like this Ec.ho that doesn't exist anywhere outside of jroths and TT's mind.

So I loved all of this. I loved the ending for Diyoza, I felt it was meaningful and worthy of her and a great end to her arc. I LOVED Madi jumping in and trying to save Indra, that felt on character for her!
I think the fact that only Raven went to Echo is kinda telling. And so I’ve not posted this but i’ve talked with this on dm with a few ppl that I really think the whole Echo saga of revenge parallels Bell in 3A and I loved the callout for that here! I felt validated haha. I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE BELL. And I love Clarke’s callout (don’t even get me started on Echo saying Clarke doesn’t know Bell, bc while yes I acknowledge that the thing about Echo taking vengeance is very different from Clarke making hard and terrible choices for her ppl is different, I do think Clarke knows Bellamy best).
Okay that is my general thoughts on the episode! I hope you all enjoyed it!

predictions for s6
everyone is mad at Clarke because even though she is the reason why everyone is alive, these headasses get upset if sometimes its oh I don't know not super easy to save the WHOLE GOD DAMN HUMAN RACE.
spacekru has an friendship that they put over anything and everything, yet they cannot COMPREHEND Clarke doing the same for her DAUGHTER!
Bellamy and Clarke get separated once again (im sure its gonna happen and im so goddamn mad about it already)
Murphy is gonna shine this season and I’m #Here #For #It
like it or not, Zaven will be forced on us from day 1. I don't mind them but  I know we are gonna see A LOT of them. more than anyone else im sure.
Raven will not be the same. I can already tell they have set her so far back development wise in the way she talks to clarke. super bummed. hopefully it won't be beyond repair.
I feel like Zeke will come to his own and I feel like im gonna warm up to him this season.
they will try to make us forget everything about echo and try and be like “she's mean cuz she was sad!!” and some of y'all are gonna eat that shit up.
Bellamy has to confront why leaving Clarke is his biggest fear... becaUSE HE LOVES HER DAMNITT!
we will get some nice Dad bellamy moments and so many more s1 bellamy moments
WE. WILL. GET. CANON. BELLARKE. THIS. SEASON.

I don’t wanna hear anyone ever say again that you’re a misogynist if you don’t like E/cho. Her very existence OFFENDS me as a fucking woman.
You know what’s misogynistic??? Jason expecting this show’s fanbase (which is mostly made up of women) to root for her just because she’s a woman that can fight.
I’m so tired of these    ~~badass, emotionless female characters~~   being framed as some kind of statement of women empowerment.
There is nothing empowering about that. Honestly, male writers just think they look hot when they can kick ass.

Trying to understand the reactions to Bellamy’s death here. So I’m just gonna rationalize for a second.
Octavia loves her brother of course. She screamed in grief when he died. That being said they’ve been trying to put a healthy distance between them for awhile. She spent a long time at peace, learning about what was important. She allowed other people into her life and her family. She’s devastated, but at a much healthier level then she once would have been. She doesn’t act out out in anger, she reaches out with compassion.
E meanwhile, she has not had the sort of epiphany that Octavia has. The last few years for her were spent trying to reach a goal. For all intents and purposes someone she loved just died maybe, but so did her king. She doesn’t know what to do with herself without someone to follow. She surely feels like she is missing a part of herself because her motive for living is gone. I’m gonna be honest, even if she does love him the grief itself is not really romantic in my eyes. She’s not grieving a partner, she’s grieving her purpose. This has always been what she is, a follower. So with her leader gone, what does she have?

The 100 really out here giving kids to the delinquents in order to represent the audience
I mean.
We had Madi telling Clarke Bellamy about the radio calls. (Because who else was going to do it? Also oops I’m tired and originally wrote Clarke, not Bellamy lol)
We had Jordan calling out how much we all prefer heart Bellamy and how he cares about Clarke more than everyone else.
Now we have Hope out here roasting Ec/ho and calling out how ridiculous Be/cho is.
