Can you explain why you think proshippers are hypocritical

The position of many proshippers is that of reacting to fantis harassing them over X specific kind of fictional trope, or reacting to fantis ruining their fandom corner by lowering its pH.

These positions are very insular, and very specific. They're not speaking from a point of principle over censorship and thought crimes, or from a deeper analysis of their disgust-based opinions on morality (and therefore harm) that just so happen to embrace fiction as topic. They're just trying to soothe the sore spot where they've been hit.

Adding as fuel the migration to twitter in 2018, which changed discourse modalities and truly infected the community with terminal Popular Blog syndrome, you get as result self-identified "pro-shippers" who are virtually identical to fantis.

I've been ranting about how hypocritical many of their talking points are because in several instances they've made a spectacle of themselves by moving goalposts and juggling double standards.

Okay bc that anon is making me unsure which kind of anti they're talking about and ik you're not entirely up 2 date on terms.. u gotta be careful when people bring up Antis. Especially if they aren't talking about entrapdak. There's this thing called Antis vs Proship/AntiAntis, n basically proship is pro-pedophila/pro incest supporting. Antis are usually against that but honestly both sides are full of cult-y vibes and are very toxic. As long as ur not into pedo/incest ur normal.
