I said this once on my old account, and I'm going to say it again: even if a TiM in a women's shelter isn't actively misbehaving towards the women in the shelter (and momentarily ignoring the fact, of course, that many of them do), by being there, he is still taking a bed away from actual biological women who have nowhere else to go. About 99% of biological women who are homeless become so due to domestic violence, and going back home could mean death for them. Meanwhile, most TiMs have experienced a male puberty, and could more than handle themselves in a male shelter. Yes, even TiMs who are on cross-sex hormones and have had cosmetic surgeries in hopes of "passing" as a woman. You are still significantly physically stronger than most women are; you'll be fine in the men's shelter. And, if they feel that there aren't enough shelters for guys, or that they want ones explicitly for trans people, they can always go out and build them. You know, like women did for ours? It's not our sex's job to compensate you with our beds and shelters that we took the time and effort specifically to set aside for ourselves. Not when our lives are on the line, and the only thing you risk injuring is your ego. That's not our problem. You deal with it, and then go find a bed at a men's shelter. No, I am not sorry for you. Go cry to someone who cares.

If you wouldn’t call a black person with albinism a white person because of their skin color why would you call a biological man or woman with chromosomal differences, variation in their genitalia or even hormone disorders as “queer” or included in the gay community? The term intersex is an umbrella term that denotes differences in sex hormones, internal or external genitalia, or chromosomes. These are disorders of sex. Even in individuals with true gonadal intersex traits, they will have either male or female chromosomes. To my knowledge there has never been a human born with both a chromosomal variant as well as internal and external genital variants that cannot be determined to be male or female. Every person born is either male or female. Having these conditions does not make a person something other than male or female. A woman being born without a uterus/ovaries, clitoromegaly (an enlarged clitoris), or some chromosomal mutation doesn’t make her any less of a woman. It doesn’t surprise me that TRAs will use these conditions to justify someone with a completely male or female body saying that they are or transitioning to the other sex. Intersex people are valid men and women.

Nothing more nothing less, the way people use the female identity as a costume they can put on and take off is off putting to say the least. Women don’t feel ashamed to say this!

Trans male has risqué bulge/outline when wearing women’s jeans and shorts, refuses to tuck or even just wear decent fitted clothing

The partner being trans doesn’t even have anything to do with the fact that it’s standard decency for males to keep their crotches under control in public, and that includes not wearing things that draw attention to (or perfectly outline) their dicks. Genitals are expected to be safely out sight behind clothing. Men’s clothing is made to accommodate a package down there and blend it in, whereas women’s clothes expect only the slightest curve to the crotch, if any, and therefore dicks have nowhere to hide.
I sincerely believe these commenters are a) too blinded by the partners’ gender id to apply their logic to any other non-trans-woman, and b) underestimating just how obvious the bulge must be and how often it happens, probably.
Also, I really doubt the partner’s statement that he “doesn’t notice” AND is “not bothered.” He has to have noticed at least a couple times if he wears women’s jeans and shorts semi-regularly, and if he isn’t self conscious about that it makes me wonder how it does make him feel to have people acknowledge his crotch in that way…

Wait wait I had a thought and I am now very curious:
Radfems, terfs, gender criticals, all y’all. What are your views on religion? Like, do you follow a religion or do you think that its irrational? Are you spiritual or are you more of a “science is the only way” materialist type? Does it affect your view of gender or sex or feminism?
I know there is going to be a variety of opinions but I feel like my mental image of y’all is of a “hyper rationality” type that thinks religion isn’t objective and therefore shouldn’t be valued and I wanna know if that's common or just like an outlier thing that I only happened to see by chance.

Brain activity and structure in transgender adolescents more closely resembles the typical activation patterns of their desired gender, according to findings to be presented in Barcelona, at the European Society of Endocrinology annual meeting, ECE 2018. These findings suggest that differences in brain function may occur early in development and that brain imaging may be a useful tool for earlier identification of transgenderism in young people.
Being transgender is real and a scientifically proven phenomenon. You cannot keep denying that fact forever!
Non binary gender hasn't been scientifically proven yet but it's likely just as real as transgender, because they're so similar; a trans person wants to become the opposite sex, and a non binary person wants to be something in between male and female. That's the only difference between the two.
