Heard a leftist arguing that when pro-lifers march with pictures of born children (infants) on placards or whatever, they're attempting to confuse/lie to people as the fetus doesn't look like a born child.
That's a severe misunderstanding. We are not arguing that the born child is similar in appearance to a fetus; the point being conveyed is that both of them are just as valuable.

My brother and I are only alive because my mother had an abortion before us. She was 14 and living on the streets after her adoptive parents decided they didn't want to deal with her anymore. When she came back and told them that she was pregnant, they yelled and cussed at her. Told her they weren't going to take her back and they wouldn't help her in the slightest. She couldn't even afford to take care of herself, she had to resort to prostitution just to live which I assume is the cause of her pregnancy but she never told me. She wasn't able to eat for one, let alone two. She couldn't afford to go to the hospital and get check ups, and given that in the future she'd have multiple eptopic pregnancies she likely would've had complications that wouldn't ever be caught.
After she got her abortion, her parents found out and they screamed at her for "murdering our grandbaby".
There is no winning for girls like my mother. But by aborting the fetus inside her she was able to live and have children and provide for us. That clump of cells would never have survived. If she hadn't terminated it, they both would've died. And then no children would've been born from her.
My brother and I never question what our potential sibling would've looked like or acted like, because we know they never would've existed in the first place. We know that we owe our existence to their termination.

“Well I would never get an abortion so I don’t support other people doing it!” Well I’d never want to eat meat but I don’t say other people can’t do I? Because what is best for everyone is different!

There's no such thing as being against abortion unless the pregnant person's life is at risk.
And that's because there's no clear definition of "at risk". What probability of death is required for abortion to be allowed under those rules? Does it have to be 100%? Or is 50% okay? What if the pregnant person is likely to end up permanently disabled but not dead?
And how does the doctor performing the abortion know whether that threshold is met? What if the pregnant person may die without an abortion, but it's not a 100% chance, so the pregnant person or the doctor refuses the abortion because they don't want to be charged with murder in case this situation doesn't meet the probability threshold of "life at risk"?
And why are people who oppose abortion never able to answer that?

Dear organization advertising to pregnant people on Tumblr that does not "provide or refer for abortions":
My wife and I are very interested in your services.
Please provide your address, hours of operation, what Night Security looks like, and what rooms in your building are the most flammable.
Your decision to advertise on Tumblr will no doubt bring you many benefits.

Ohhh I just hate Lindsey Graham and his proposed ban soooo very much. He's one of those Republican douchebags who I can happily forget exists for a bit, until he does shit like this to remind me he's competing for worst-of-the-worst.

Women: "Can I have birth control?"
Congress: "No."
Women: "I couldn't get birth control so I got pregnant. Can I have an abortion?"
Congress: "No."
Women: "You prevented me from having an abortion so I'm carrying the fetus, but my employer won't provide reasonable accommodations and is threatening to fire me. Would you please pass the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act?"
Congress: "No"
Women: "I had the baby, but I'm out of work. Can I have WIC and food stamps until I get back on my feet?"
Congress: "No."
Women: "I found a job, but it doesn't offer me insurance. Can I have government guaranteed insurance?"
Congress: "No."
Women: "My kid got sick and I got fired because I missed time caring for him/her. Can I get unemployment?"
Congress: "No."
Women: "I'm having a hard time getting my kid from school consistently. Can we fund after-school programs?"
Congress: "No."
Women: I'm prepared to work to support my family. Can you make sure that a full-time job's minimum wage is enough to do that?
Them: No. But what's the matter with you and your family, that working two jobs can't lift you out of poverty? And what kind of a mother are you, letting someone else watch your child while you work? If your child doesn't do well in school or gets in trouble, it's entirely your fault. You shouldn't have had a child if you weren't prepared to take care of him/her."
This is what “pro-life” hypocrisy looks like. 🤬
