we all know you love sisters, thoughts on brothers? big brothers who let you watch them play video games, little brothers who ask with big eyes to teach them how to have sex, etc.
big brother who lets me watch him play games but only if i cockwarm him 🥰
big brother who spoons me to sleep at night and grinds into my butt when he thinks i'm asleep 🥰🥰
big brother who's so obsessed with me that he just can't hold back anymore and decides to get me so crossfaded i can't stop him from taking my body over and over, hoping i don't remember it either. but of course i do and i get off to the memory every night for months 🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍

I’m sorry, but the Netflix showrunner referring to Kataang as an “issue to tackle” in the future is some of the funniest shit I’ve ever read/heard.

I’m not trying to attack you, but do you know that proshipper means someone who supports and romanticizes pedophilia, incest, and abuse? Your reblog on that post seems to read that you think antis just hate on people for having ships they don’t like. But it’s completely different than that. Just looking on the proshipper side of Tumblr and the internet and you can see people happily shipping children and adults and making nsfw content of such things.
i appreciate that you're not being outright hostile, but i have to say, that on its own put you above basically every anti i've interacted with.
i understand where antis are coming from, i really do. there are a lot of things on the internet that make me deeply uncomfortable, including the minor/adult ships that you mention. i don't want to anything to do with those kinds of ships and i would be happiest if i never saw them again. which is why i'm proship.
nine times out of ten, if i see that kind of ship brought up on my dash, it's because i was following an anti without realizing it, and they brought it up unprompted and untagged, to talk about how bad it is that they exist. they are the ones putting that kind of content in front of my face and making it harder to avoid.
the thing about people who ship those ships is that they're generally very aware that not everyone wants to see that kind of content, and so they tag it. they make sideblogs to talk about it. they don't go out of their way to shove it in people's faces. that means i, and everyone else who doesn't like it, can avoid it.
what antis want is for it to not exist at all. they want the tags to be purged and blocked, and for anyone who uses those tags to have their accounts deleted. and sure, that might get rid of some of it, but do you know what would happen to the rest? it would stop being tagged. people who don't want to see it wouldn't have the tools to avoid it. this isn't just a hypothetical, that's what's happened any time a fan space has tried to do that.
that's not even getting into the rabbit hole of what should be banned and what shouldn't. obviously any content that depicts real children or real life abuse shouldn't exist and shouldn't be allowed to be posted, but basically any platform that people use already enforces those policies, and there's not much of a slippery slope to go down there. if it involves real living breathing people being abused, it's bad. end of discussion.
but the same can't be said for fiction. ask ten antis for a specific list of all the content that should be banned, and you'll get ten different answers. what about kink? what about roleplay? what about horror and murder and anything that involves fictional characters being graphically tortured? what about people using art to process terrible things that have happened to them? what about art that uses dark themes as a horror element? if you just want to ban anything questionable to anyone, that's the line of thinking that gets any mention of lgbt existence banned. and again, this isn't just a hypothetical, this has happened before, and that's generally where it leads.
i know, from personal experience, that antis do, in fact, send harassment to people just for shipping things they don't like. i've gotten accused of absolutely vile shit for shipping two fictional characters who were both consenting adults. i've seen ship wars turn into moral battlegrounds, over ships that an average person wouldn't bat an eye at.
the thing about "romanticization" is a whole other can of worms. the anti logic goes like this: if someone sees something (even if it's very obviously fictional) in a positive light enough times, they will start thinking it's okay in real life, and go on to hurt real people. the problem with that is that it's just. blatantly untrue.
if it were true every horror movie fan would be a serial killer, every person that studies dark media would be an unhinged psychopath, and everyone who is into ddlg would be a pedophile. but they're not. they just aren't. people have directed movies just as fucked up as the darkest shit on ao3, and are still capable of being normal human beings who know right from wrong in real life.
even if someone is that impressionable, scrubbing away the existence of every piece of questionable content isn't going to solve their problem, because they're still going to be vulnerable to con men, scams, and cultists. the only thing that would actually materially help someone like that is developing their own morals and critical thinking.
children are also more impressionable, and there's a lot of content that's not suitable for them, but that doesn't mean that content shouldn't exist. it just means that they should stick to spaces designed for them (which most social media sites, tumblr included, are not) or, if they're old enough to be responsible for their experience online, they, or a trusted adult in their lives, should block and filter out things that they aren't comfortable with.
which is what everyone on the internet should be doing. it's what i do, and it's made the internet a much more pleasant place to be. and it's why i sometimes worry for antis mental health, especially teenagers, because they're being told it's right and moral to seek out content that makes them uncomfortable and to engage with the people making it. and that's just. really bad. it's not good for the creators that they're harassing obviously, but it's also really bad for them! it's not healthy to seek out things that make you feel bad, and it's a terrible internet safety lesson to teach minors that it's okay for them to seek out and engage with people making adult content.
individual harassment and crusading is never going to succeed at removing dark content from the internet. it just isn't. at best you might get a small percentage of people who create that content to stop sharing it, at worst you're just going to make people stop tagging it, and either way, you're exposing yourself to things that make you feel bad, when you don't have to.
if you want to materially change the type of content you see, you can. the block button is your friend, use it liberally. same with content filtering and tag blocking.

I got an idea. *I grin a bit and after a bit, I come back with a case of soda and, a plushie knife.* Here, now no one’s in danger of being stabbed. And it’s squishy!
Anti stared at the plushie, face completely neutral despite the annoyance and disappointment swirling in his brught green irises. He tapped his foot on the ground impatiently, as if considering something.
"Can I-" Anti began before Jackie immediately spoke up.
"No." Jackie's eyes narrowed at Anti.
Henrik just seemed tired of the antics and constant child-like bickering between the ALTR and Jackie. With a sigh, he turned to Marvin and Jameson. Without needing to say a word, Marvin nodded and led Jameson away. A silent command to take Jameson away in the case that Anti ended up being hostile. At the end of the day, Anti viewed those two as expendable. The bigger picture, to him, was all about Chase and Henrik. And Jackie? Jackie had gone up against Anti several times over. The two matched in combat ability. Albeit, Anti had more... Unique powers and Jackie was simply normal.
Anti was the only ALTR of the group.

One repeated refrain I keep seeing from the Pro-Palestinian crowd, from the most virulently Jew-hating to the most Jew-sympathetic, is pretty straightforward.
"Well, after 75 years of how the Palestinians have been treated, can you blame them for the 7/10 attack?"
And the response that I've been itching to give to that...
"So, you're saying that the Nakba was acceptable back in 1948? Because after 1000+ years of mistreatment by Muslim Arabs, including multiple massacres and ethnic cleansing in living memory, that means that the Jews were justified with the Nakba--indeed, they were restrained, because they could have easily done so much worse, and the Palestinians Arabs hadn't had any mistreatment yet. There was a clear side who had been the victims (the Jews) and a clear side who had been the victimizers for over a thousand years, as the Muslims been the ones doing the mistreatment to the Jews. If you're saying that 75 years of marginalization justifies mass rape and murder, then the Israelis in 1948 would have been justified in killing every single proto-Palestinian Arab by that same metric.
"No? That's different? How? How is it different? Explain to me how it's different without using the word 'colonizer', because a vast number of the Jews who lived there were native and had never been living elsewhere. Sure, they were just a portion of the Jewish population as a whole, but so are the Palestinian militants. Would someone whose family had been butchered in the 1929 Hebron Massacre not be justified in taking out their hate on other Arabs? Because that's the standard you're promoting now. How is it different?
"On what ethical grounds is it okay to say that the Palestinians deserve to get to rape and murder for 75 years of marginalization, and yet that the Jews simply displacing them but allowing them to continue living, sparing their lives after 1200+ years of brutal suppression... that act is somehow the most horrendous and monstrous act in the entire history of mankind, as some Pro-Palestinian activists have explicitly said?"
"Explain to me how 75 years of mistreatment justifies mass murder, but 1000+ years of legally recognized second-class brutal near-slavery doesn't justify displacement of your former oppressors."

Someone needs to say it: The "Heaven is actually bad" plot line that Hazbin is based around is useless when you spend more then 2 minutes thinking about Vivzie's Hell and her characters.
Besides it being much too early for this idea, the revelation that Heaven or at least the beings running it aren't good people has little to no impact when the people who are being harmed by this are all horrible people. Stay with me here. None of these people are people who were unfairly brought into hell and we are never ever introduced to someone who was either. Why should we care that Heaven is "evil" and blocking redemption when all the sinners in hell we see are the worst of the worst who would have never gotten in even if it was fair.
For the "Heaven is bad" plot line to actually work, you need people who were just one sin away from Heaven, who would've gotten into Heaven if circumstance hadn't forced them down a path that stole it from them. You need characters who aren't comedic villains but land in the middle of morally grey. Those who deserved to be in Heaven but because Heaven refused to consider their circumstances, they were tossed to burn with people much worse than them. Those are the people who should be your main cast cause those are the people who would actually be impacted by Heaven being bad/ Heaven lying.
Angel dust, for all his trauma, was still part of the mafia and likely had killed people before (showing to almost take joy in it). Husk became an overlord and gambled souls, so he had to have had blood on his hands before hell. Alastor is a serial killer, and the list goes on and on. Sure, these characters are (somewhat) interesting, but they don't make for good characters to have when the key plot line is that Heaven is a scam. Even if that fact is true, none of them were ever going to get there in the first place and this is something we also se in every single background sinner shown in Hell too. They were never close to getting there, so why would they or we care that Heaven is bad when all sinners are shown to be horrific people who are at best in the dark grey area of morality.
If you look at it from the "angel's are unfairly killing sinners" route, it still doesn't work. If the angels are killing them, what makes it different then the sinner on sinner violence that hell is full off? Why is them dying by angels this bad thing when they are just as likely if not 10x times more likely to get knifed in the back by other sinners in hell the other 364 days, especially when everyone here apparently is just as horrible as the next person. You cannot condemn the angels for killing demons and then make a joke of out sinners killing each other and never show sinners who doesn't want to kill people. Life either matters or it doesn't and when the main cast doesn't even show a care for life (outside of Charlie's who's entire flaw is her naivety), why should the audience.
On top of that, Vivzie's whole overpopulation aspect and the Heaven plot line would connect better if she actually had people like those I mentioned above, people who stole to survive but got tossed out cause stealing is technically wrong, people who killed another to protect someone else but were still sent to hell because even though they saved that person's life that person wasn't supposed to be saved, people who passively engaged in sins but never really did anything harmful under them. This would add into how Hell is so overpopulated and highlight why its so important that Heaven is evil/ why Charlie's plan isn't just a naive pathetic fever dream.
In the end, Vivzie should have never made Heaven the central plot of this show nor tried to assign this blatant good vs evil to that conflict. Neither her characters nor her writing choices are able to respond to this conflict in a way that will end or even tell the story in a satisfactory manner.

REALLY??? and how many sites claim there's no such thing as 'porn addiction' might I asked?
Not a website. The actual American Psychiatric Association.
Tumblr media
There's insufficient evidence to prove that you can be addicted to sex or porn.
Psychiatrist Dr. David J. Ley wrote this article saying that the idea of porn addiction is grounded in religion and the shame surrounding sex and sexual health. The problem is not porn, it is the moral guilt a person feels from being told so often that it's wrong to explore your body and what you're into, like being told you'll go to hell or go blind for masturbating.
These are actual doctors who studied this shit in medical school for almost a decade, not randoms talking out of their ass. The sites saying that porn is addictive are based in religious bias, and that's never a good thing to base your research in. Science is, and forever should be, unbiased. Just because you don't like the truth doesn't mean that it's wrong.

but if u say something mean about jtodd i will love you
that is such an amazing point anon ty
one of my (many) issues with jtodd is that popular fan interpretations ignore the actual, intentional tragedy of his character in order to massacre every other character in his orbit.
jtodd isn’t welcomed back into the fold by bruce or dick or tim or anyone else because of his own actions — he rejects the chance to return, and pursues his own idea of violent retribution instead. he can’t return because he himself has burnt that bridge. that is the nature of that kind of profound grief, you often self immolate because there is no other way to keep urself warm.
the tragedy is that yeah, jason does casually want to interact with his family (re outsiders, parts of utrh + batman 2009) but he can’t — because of what he’s done. he still respects dick and babs, but he’s irreversibly destroyed any properly trusting relationship that could’ve been rebuilt. he still loves bruce (and try as he might he just can’t stop) but bruce will never trust him around his allies again, because he broke bruce’s cardinal rule to spite bruce.
not only that, he used what he’d learnt as robin, the allies he’d gained through that legacy, and systematically uses that knowledge to cause harm. how could that ever be reconciled? how can anyone seriously ally themselves with that sort of person?
by comparison, fanon turns him into someone with no agency (pit madness), someone who is reviled unfairly (despite being a murderer), or someone who is beloved by those who would never justify his bad decisions (any of the other robins, cass, roy, etc) to the detriment of their own characterisation.
JTODD IS A TRAGEDY OF HIS OWN MAKING ! YOU CAN NEVER RETURN TO WHAT YOU ONCE WERE ! THE ONLY WAY OUT IS THROUGH !

“I mean, to be fair to Chase Anti you’re *terrifying* when you wanna be like you *had predator eyeshine* but I’m glad that you’re all at least decent, um, can I bring anything? Like blankets or something?”
Anti immediately perked up, "A knife!" He exclaimed with such a gleeful look on his face.
"NO!" Marvin, Jackie, and Henrik yelled in unison.
Anti seemed to deflate, grumbling, "None of you ever let me have any fun." Jameson stared at Anti, bewildered. His hands had been moving before he could even think of the fact that Anti liked to torment him too.
'You literally stabbed Jackie last time you had a knife.'
"That was one time!" Anti defended.
"Yeah. One time you stabbed me. You were throwing them at Chase and just missed!" Jackie retorted.
"Not to mention the times you threatened to stab me and Marvin." Henrik commented.
Anti threw a glare at Jackie and Henrik. Chase shrugged, walking over to Marvin with a somewhat weak smile now that Anti was much less insistent on standing by his side. "A drink would be-"
"Chase," Marvin seemed to sternly warn.
"I meant like some coke!" Chase defended.
"You did not." Henrik shot back.

Part of why I ship Charlastor over Chaggie other than how one has more chemistry over the other, is that with Charlastor... I can literally see the building blocks for them to be a ship.
Like as Alastor helps Charlie with the Hotel and sees more of her, he would start to slowly fall for her. And it could also be that type of dynamic where they teach each other something.
Alastor teaches Charlie to embrace her power as the Princess of Hell and how to use it to it's full potential, while Charlie teaches him how to be a more decent person and let people in to help him.
Yessss
Though I have to admit that my favorite flavor of Charlastor is the one where Alastor doesn't even really change as a person, Charlie just becomes the sole exception to his personal rules and she embraces him completely for who he is 😩👌
Everything nice he does as a result would be exclusively for Charlie's benefit then if not for his own.
I also think it's a fun way to challenge Charlie's biased belief system of "everyone deserves a second chance and is capable of being better" by making her fall in love with someone who's an unapologetic, violent asshole to everyone but her but will behave if she asked it of him, who makes her feel loved, important and powerful like nobody else has ever managed to and has a genuine desire to help her in any way he can - including all of the immoral and fucked up ways.
I also love me some Alastor who's internally at war with himself - on one hand being in love with Charlie hasn't changed him as a person and she truly embraces him for all he is, but he still finds himself unable to ignore how she'd feel about certain actions and is desperate for her approval and attention, so she's still inadvertently influencing him and reduces the amount of violent urges he acts on by just being someone whose opinion he gives a shit about.
He both loves and hates it, she's his weakness and his greatest strength, his inspiration and muse and the bane of his fucking existence. He would move mountains, obliterate cities and fight god with his bare fucking hands for her if she asked him nicely, but she won't because she's a reasonable and sweet person who worries for his safety and wellbeing.
She's self-sacrificial and recklessly giving, but he's there to ground and catch her when she flies too close to the sun and will happily execute her will wherever she falls short.
In turn she keeps him sane, gives him something to genuinely want to fight for, someone to come home to without tying him down... She's love and light and goodness he never thought himself to be deserving of
Like. I know a lot of us will happily indulge in all the ways these two would be toxic for each other, but I also deeply adore their potential to be such a mutually beneficial, healthy relationship, much to the surprise of everyone at the hotel, including themselves!
