Also I feel like it needs to be addressed his actions in season 6 - I would love a discussion about how others feel (I’ve only JUST finished watching buffy lol) and I love Spike but that episode was a mess? 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐬/𝐨

⸱ I definitely think you guys have a pride & prejudice beginning. He feigned hatred and tried to ignore you. You were nothing but a mere human to him. You’re close to Buffy and her gang of merry vampire slayers, which automatically made you an enemy

⸱ And yet, there was something about you. The twinkle in your eyes whenever you look up at him, the way you smiled when the world seemed it would end in a second.

⸱ He always considered himself, the Big Bad, but when an ancient vampire named Erylis came to Sunnydale, his reputation shadowed all else. No one knew where he came from, what he looked like. But he was someone to be afraid of.

⸱ You had been captured, drank from, but given something, that once rescued, no one could understand. You did not turn, but some of Erylis’ power seeped from him to you. You were faster, stronger, keener; more awake. Any wounds healed quickly and you were able to foresee a semblence of the future.

⸱ The group helped you the best way they could; Willow was always there to listen. Xander for a shoulder to lean on, Giles for information and Buffy for strength. They still accepted you, but wanted to know what exactly you were now. Some sort of superhuman?

⸱ Spike helped resue you from Erylis; after he had the chip inplanted in his head, what else was he supposed to do? Where else would he go?

⸱ He had pulled Erylis from your neck, and although tempted himself, he saw your paled face and something in his chest changed. Cracked open? Blossomed?

⸱ Now that Spike was ... sort of apart of the gang, he spent more time with you. Especially since he was the only one who wasn’t frightened of you. (The group still loved you, but they did have some apprehension, would you hurt someone? Did you need to feed?)

⸱ Spike was there when some of the questions about your change were answered. In short, there was small experiements. Like eating usual food; did it fill you up the same? Were you craving something else? Nope, it was like before. Except what you had liked before (possibly sweets, or chips etc,.) were intensified. And what you didn’t like seemed repulsive.

⸱ You had no desire to hurt other people, except those who had wronged you. You felt things more deeply, and the things that helped humans seemed to help you x100.

⸱ You always carry lavender and chamomile to help calm you down.

⸱ After getting to know you, he was smitten. He would try his best not to show it, but there was his possessive side that wanted to jump out whenever someone showed any type of interest in you

⸱ And you know what, you felt the same way. When he would be around any other girl, there was a flash of pain in your chest. You cared so deeply for him. But you tried not to show it; I mean Willow caught on. She caught on fast, then Buffy and Giles. Xander was completely oblivious. 

⸱ When you had your first kiss, he would’ve leant down, while you were on your tippy toes. 

⸱ He’s is vERY protective of you, even though you’re more durable than he is. Every demon knows there will be hell to pay if they go anywhere NEAR you. 

⸱ So, it’s actually a good thing for you and the gang... that you and Spike are together, it’s like they have an extra layer of protection. 

⸱ However, that does put Spike at risk. But he has plenty of enemies anyway, so he’s used to it

⸱ He likes it when he’s laying between your legs, head resting against your chest as you stroke his face. 

⸱ “Ya know pet, I wouldn’t of thought you and I would get along so well.” He mumbled one night, your head resting against his chest.       “Sometimes we don’t,” you replied teasingly.  “Well love, you know what they say.”      “What do they say, Spike?”  “Opposites attract.” 

⸱ You always wake up before him, but on the odd day that he wakes first, he’ll bring you in a cup of tea. 

⸱ Also I don’t want anyone saying this is out of character because we haven’t seen Spike in a positive relationship. So I do think he would be thoughtful to his significant other (also he’s british, they love tea)

⸱ His favourite thing to do together is when he has his head in your lap, and you’re reading out loud to him

⸱ He tells you tales of the lives he’s lived

⸱ Doesn’t like other people making inquiries or jokes about your relationship

⸱ There’s still tension when he’s around the group, but he is changing with you. Becoming softer, kinder

⸱ You’re becoming more ... sassy? If that’s the right word to use...more in tune with quick-witted comments

⸱ He knows a lot about you, not just because he listens to you talk but he has been watching you for a while. Noticing your quirks in conversations and likes/dislikes 

⸱ He knows your favourite movies and books

⸱ Spike loves taking you on adventures, especially when there’s chaos... have probably robbed a place together I won’t lie (it was pub with a sexist bartender, what else were you supposed to do?)

After much deliberation—here are five of my favorite fics plus honorable mentions because anyone who knows me knows I hate deciding 😂

1. Red Ribbon of Fate—T, Shisaku, complete, “Shisui and Sakura's love story begins with a red ribbon.”

This one I had so much fun writing because it was just based off the silly idea that Shisui’s hair gets too long, and he holds his hair back from his eyes with a red ribbon. This idea was formed in the Sakura Haruno server, and it just was so sweet and I loved every second of it 🥰

2. Stealing His Shirt Has Never Felt So Good—E, KankuSaku, complete, “Sakura keeps her boyfriend's shirt before he leaves to train. Boyfriend comes back, she's a bit of a brat, and he punishes her with a ton of orgasms.”

I have no explanation for this fic except for the fact that I saw some amazing horny art of Kankuro, proceeded to obsess over said art and write this fic for 9 months, and well, yeah. Here we are 😂

3. Not Yet—E, KakaSaku complete, “Sakura appreciates Kakashi wanting to properly woo her, but they’re together. She’s tired of waiting. And now, she’s going to go get her man to fuck her.”

This was actually my first smut I wrote for KakaSaku, and I remember writing this and screaming as I wrote because it was so filthy. But it was a good time, and damn, I need to write more of them agains soon 👀

4. fantasies can come true—E, AsuIno, complete, “Ino successfully seduces her former teacher, and she may be in for more than she bargained for, not that she'd ever complain.”

I’d been telling myself forever that I’d write a fic for these two, and then I finally did it, and it was so fun! Definitely am going to write more for them, and also the other ships for Ino I recently realized were super fun 🥰

5. oh captain—E, ShiSaku, complete, “Sakura and Shisui avoid their duties aboard ship to have a little rendezvous below deck.”

This is one of my more recent ShiSaku fics i did for ShiSaku week in June this year, and I had so much fun with the prompt, because it was pirates and of course I had to make it sexy. I also just really loved every other prompt I did for the week (I did one for every day bc I am crazy), and I just love writing this pair so much 🥹🥰

💙-- Hero and Kel Hurt/Comfort Headcanon

Before they had Hector, Hero and Kel's family had another dog named Lola who was in her old age having originally been the pet of Hero and Kel's father long before he had married their mother. Even though she was older, Lola was a very sweet dog, and the boys adored her, especially Kel who used to always try to pick her up and carry her around with him and who loved taking her for walks by pulling her in his little red wagon.

When Lola passed away, the whole family who had loved her dearly grieved, but Kel was especially devastated. Even though Hero was only 8 years old at the time, he was worried sick about his little brother and wondered if he had ever seen the usually cheerful Kel so sad before. That night, Hero tried his best to cheer Kel up by suggesting they build a blanket fort together. It was really all his little 8-year-old mind could think of to do to show his brother that he cared, that he was thinking of him, and that he wanted to help him feel better. When they curled up in their fort amidst all their blankets and pillows, Kel started to cry about Lola again. Hero cried too, but he wrapped his arms around his brother and pulled him close, running his hand comfortingly through his hair. Eventually, Kel's crying stopped and, having been comforted, fell asleep curled up next to his brother.

They built a lot of blanket forts together over the years. Kel just loved them in general, but for Hero they started to symbolize that he and his brother were there for each other, especially in hard times. Hero would often suggest building a blanket fort when he could tell Kel had had a bad day or was feeling down. It was his way of saying, "I see that you're hurting, and I love you and am here for you."

He didn't realize that it meant the same thing to Kel. He should have known when Kel had asked him if he wanted to build a blanket fort a couple of times in the year after they had lost Mari, but in his overwhelming grief and deep depression, Hero had declined not realizing that, much like Hero had done when they were grieving their beloved pet several years before, Kel was really just desperately grasping onto anything he could think of that might comfort or cheer up Hero and bring his brother back.

It was only after they learned the truth that Hero realized what Kel was really trying to say with suggestions to build blanket forts. As Hero tried his best to hide that he was crying himself to sleep that night after they got home from the hospital, Kel broke the long, heavy silence with a somewhat sheepish "Hey Hero...do you want to build a blanket fort?" Hero had sniffled, wiped his teary eyes, and agreed for Kel's sake, thinking that his brother needed him.

But when they curled up in their fort amidst their blankets and pillows, it was Kel who wrapped his arms around him and pulled him close, running a hand comfortingly through his hair. And Hero thought back to the blanket fort he had built for Kel when they had lost their beloved dog, Lola, and he started to cry, despite his best attempts to hide it as he realized that this was Kel's way of comforting him too: his way of saying "I see that you're hurting, and I love you and am here for you."

As Kel's shoulders began to shake, Hero knew his brother was also crying, and he hugged Kel tightly for far longer than he had held his little brother in a very long time. Eventually, their crying stopped, and having been comforted, the two brothers fell asleep curled up next to each other in their blanket fort.

I have to say, it is surprising that a favorite OC x CC ship of yours is one with Solid Silva of all people, but a nice one 😅🥰

Honestly, I am as surprised about this as you are, Anon-friend 😂 but any pairing compelling enough to make me genuinely think about Solid Silva as a romantic being is definitely worth a shout out, in my opinion. If you had told me when I binging Black Clover almost 2 years ago now (A/N: wow! time flies) that I would one day have genuine, positive feelings towards a ship with Solid in it, I probably wouldn't have believed you, but I thought Vilandel's little one shot about them was actually really sweet and there's something very compelling and very believable about the relationship the way it was described in Rosette's character profile. I'll admit I am not a big Solid fan and am probably never going to be a big Solid fan (A/N: I know my whole shtick is strained and dysfunctional brothers/sibling relationships, but Solid was always just a little too far, even for me), but this is actually a really compelling take on a genuine redemption arc for him and after reading it, I can genuinely see him becoming a better person and ready for a healthy romantic relationship if things played out this way.

Plus it's arranged marriage to lovers?! I love that stuff. Why do y'all think I am so into Langris x Finesse? (A/N: It's for more than that, but um...yeah I think that ship probably says a lot about me & my interests when it comes to pairings. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing, but probably has a lot to do with my interest in this one...😅)

For Kel's 17th birthday, Hero surprised him by driving home from college for the weekend to celebrate. He left immediately from his last class of the day that Friday, brought along a homemade cake he had somehow managed to find the time to bake the night before, and drove several hours back to Faraway Town.

He also arranged to pick up Sunny who was living in the same city as Hero's university at that point and brought him along too because he knew it would mean a lot to Kel to get to celebrate his birthday with all of his friends together again for the first time in years.

Kel was having Basil and Aubrey over for his birthday dinner that evening, and everyone was so surprised when Hero and Sunny appeared at the front door. Kel swore it was the best present he got that year and was so excited that he got to spend his birthday with his brother and all of his friends!

💙-- Hurt/Comfort

Yami generally feels like he needs to be the strongest in order to protect, provide for, and lead his squad, and this mentality has made it difficult for him to open up to others and show vulnerabilities. As he and Charlotte grow closer, however, she becomes one of the only people he can really put his armor down around, and (though it is a slow process for him) he really does start to share with her things that are difficult for him to tell anyone else: how much he cares and worries about his loved ones (his squad family in particular), how he worries about letting them down, and how he blames himself when he is unable to protect the people he cares about most. Charlotte who has similar feelings (especially in regards to her own squad) is always an empathetic listener and does her best to encourage him that he doesn't have to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders alone. Together they learn that being vulnerable is not the same as being weak and that they can be just as strong if they learn to put their armor down every once in a while and allow themselves to be human.

💘-- Romance

Yami much prefers to show his love with his actions (mainly acts of service) rather than talking about his feelings, and Charlotte generally understands since she gets a little shy and tongue-tied when it comes to verbal expressions of affection herself. However, both the Black Bulls and the Blue Roses make this into a "big deal" and try to get their respective captains to confess their love "properly" to each other. This becomes an even bigger problem when the Black Bulls figure out that Yami plans to propose and insist he can't propose without a speech.

Yami is eventually convinced that Charlotte really hasn't and/or won't understand how much he cares about her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her without him expressing his love in words, so he ends up stumbling his way through writing his feelings down in a speech (with his squad's well-meaning help of course). For Yami's credit, even though he thinks it’s stupid he carries it around with him and actually practices it for at least a week beforehand because he wants things to be special for Charlotte.

When time for the proposal actually arrives, however, he uncomfortably begins the speech but stops abruptly saying, “This is stupid.” He then improvises a very curt, very Yami but actually heartfelt (for Yami anyway) expression of why he wants to marry her. It ends with “I…you know…” To which Charlotte laughs and replies “I…you know…too” and accepts his proposal! 💕

💗-- Family

Though they keep very busy in the future, it is very important to Yami and Charlotte that they always carve out time to spend together with their children as a family. Sometimes this involves just spending an quiet evening at their house with Yami teaching the kids how to play cards or everyone having a dinner comprised of everyone's favourite foods, but more often than not, this involves outings and fun family activities, especially more outdoorsy ones like camping, hiking, or sparring/training together.

yours is the first WIP i'm reading! i used to always run away from it, but then I started SMFM and didn't realised it was (dk how hahah i think it was because it was already telling how many chapters there would be) but i'm actually enjoying this way! i mean, the anxiety to read another chapter as soon as you post one is a bitch hahaha but then i spend a lot of times with that chapter and rereading it, and rereading the whole thing up until the most recent and ahh idk its really nice, i feel like i'm even more emersed on the story and the fact that you can tell you would never drop the story helps with the anxiety haha anyways that my little confession! hope your well and proud of your amazing work! the way it feels like two different people ahh amazing! also, my favourite type of fics are duo povs, i loveee when i can tell what both parties are thinking

I'm so happy that you're reading it! I totally get why people don't read WIPs but as an author, I love that people do read them!

I love that people are still reading You Can Hear It In The Silence, and I love getting comments on it and watching people go through the process of reading it and the emotions... but at the same time it's so cool to have a bunch of readers go through the same emotions at the same time and see their reactions in real time.

There were definitely things I liked about posting You're Not My Type (still I fall) as a complete work, and in some ways I think fics come out better when you write them in one go and can go back and forth to edit them, but again, I miss the interaction on it. I love getting comments there as well and I know people are still reading it (it's only been a month and it's out-kudos'ed SMFM, lol. But, again, there is still something really nice having people come on the journey with me!

I follow a few WIPs, and one of them only gets updated like once every month or two (I'd tagged the author but hopefully they know who they are!), so I really do get the frustration that comes a long... but also, it's exciting when the email comes through that they've posted, you know?

I also LOVE dual POVs! I don't think I could ever not write one. You, Me, (and everyone we know) is very heavily Louis at the moment (there are 16 chapters and only 2 have been Harry) but there's a creative reason for that. And the chapters - although there are only two - still give enough insight to his thoughts. All the comments on Louis' pov are always like "And you just know that Harry is xyz" lol. But they didn't know that before his first chapter - obviously.

Anyway, this was long but I'm procrastinating a lot right now, lol
