I was just on a plane 2 weeks ago, where I spent a majority of the flight conversing with a woman named Linda. Unlike this comic, however, I initiated the dialogue––and she was a willing participant. The good ending. 😎

If you ever think you are annoying, just remember this:
I sing the Wonder Pets and Little Einsteins theme songs every time my friends say they want to disown me :)

The Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter. is raising, as expected, a series of stirs and controversies that had not surrounded the Twitter service for a long time. The owner of Tesla has arrived with a bang, implementing changes, firing people and suggesting a series of proposals that will give a lot to talk about. Will I have to pay to use Twitter? When you release $44 billion to buy a social network, the only thing you expect is to be able to monetize your product to recover that money and earn much more. But in Elon Musk's eyes the service is not doing well at all, and for that he proposes to change a series of fundamentals with the idea of making Twitter more efficient and profitable. Well, it seems that one of the changes would be related to one of the signs of identity most desired by the public of Twitter. We are obviously referring to the blue tick of verified accounta simple icon that Twitter gives to those users who verify that they are really them and that among the popular profiles serves to mark a status. A feature much desired by Twitter users? Musk is clear about it: that must be paid for. That a feature that requires customer service and review by Twitter employees to avoid fraud and identity theft requires a fee is understandable, but the problem is that Elon wants to include it in the Twitter Blue subscription, and not only that, but also, incidentally, increase its price. Verified and Premium Twitter Blue is the Twitter subscription mode. which gives users access to exclusive Twitter features. You can for example undo or edit a Tweet, and access beta features so you can experience what's coming soon to Twitter. It's a somewhat exclusive mode that gives more freedom when launching Tweets or using the service, but doesn't detract from the free mode. In fact, both Twitter Blue and the free version of Twitter include advertising (although the latter is already working on ways to reduce it slightly). What's interesting about all this is that Musk's new measures propose to bring account verification within Twitter Blue, so anyone who wants to have a verified account on the service would have to religiously pay the monthly fee. But there is still more, because, if the current price of Twitter Blue is $4.99, with the arrival of verification the service would cost $19.99.according to The Vergea price that even the very Stephen King has rebuked Elon to his face on Twitter as you can read below: @StephenKing We need to pay the bills somehow! Twitter cannot rely entirely on advertisers. How about $8? November 01, 2022 - 06:16 am Stephen King: $20 a month to keep my "check" blue? To hell with that! They should pay me. If this is implemented, I'm going out like Enron. Elon Musk: We need to pay the bills somehow! Twitter can't rely entirely on advertisers - how about $8? Twitter will remain free but will it be used? Knowing all this, it is important to emphasize that Twitter is going to remain free, however, one of its most demanded features will become paid. Considering that it would become the first social network to charge a verification, we will see. how the mass of users respond to this gigantic change. The ultimate solution? Many are thinking of deleting the Twitter account for good and switching to other services, so we'll see how the social network suffers if the community pivots to that move.

This a redraw as you can tell, but the incident leading up to this is Raiz's eyesight is becoming strained on his remaining eye, and Annoy thought it would be great to get him a pair of glasses. Raiz thinks these glasses would diminish her love for him but she proved him wrong.

Sometimes I wish we would start calling out the performative radicalism on this site for the poser bullshit it is. "Remember, it's always morally correct to kill a cop!" "Don't forget to firebomb your local government office!" "Wow, it sure would be a shame if these instructions on how to make a molotov cocktail got spread around!"
Okay. But you're not killing cops or firebombing government offices. You are posting on a dying microblogging website to a carefully-curated echo chamber that has radicalized itself into thinking that taking the absolute most extreme position on any subject is praxis but that anyone discussing the most practical way to effect actual change is your sworn enemy. You do not have the street cred OR the activist cred to be talking about killing cops, babe.
