I just realized that 20 years ago, somewhere around this time of the year I came home from school and picked up the weekly Donald Duck magazine that had come in the mail. I proceeded to read it on the dinner table and between the pages I found a leaflet advertizing newly released video games.

On the list, there were a lot of games that piqued my interest but one stood out the most. The cover was dark and mysterious and Donald and Goofy were hanging out with some strange but oddly cool looking characters. I immediately wanted to know more about them.

I added the game to my christmas wishlist which I gave to my parents so they could "send it to Santa Claus".

On Christmas Eve I unwrapped one of my presents and there in my hands was a PS2 game called Kingdom Hearts.

And the rest is history🗝️
