Les animaux, eux aussi, souffrent de la guerre. Ils perdent leurs familles, leurs maisons, leurs repères.

Chien et chat errants sont partout et cherchent désespérément de l’aide, de la nourriture, de l’eau, quelque part où dormir, voir juste un peu d’affection.

Pendant un bombardement russe, une des maisons du village a pris feu. Mon chef d’escouade et d’autres soldats de notre brigade on entendu deux petits chats miauler. Ils sont donc rentrés dans la maison en flamme pour sauver nos deux petites boules de poils devenues mascottes de l’escouade.

Il n’y a pas que les animaux domestiques qui sont victimes de la guerre. Les bombes détruisent les arbres où vivent les oiseaux ou leur provoquent des crises cardiaques (comme les feux d’artifices mais en pire). Les plaines, champs et forêts sont parfois bombardés pendant des jours voir des semaines de façon quasi ininterrompue.

Les ukrainiens.nes se mobilisent pour protéger les animaux victimes de cette guerre de destruction massive.

Civils, militaires et associations font de leur mieux pour que nos amis les animaux eux aussi survivent.
