Oh, this is a tough question! :D I tend to be more of an angst fiend than a fluff gremlin, but I like the angst to be impactful so building up to that point before letting things fall apart (or not). So, let's see...

There are a few moments in Book 1 that can hurt. My friend described one scene/revelation as a 'gut-punch', while I have already gotten a few asks about how J's hug scene is heart aching. I think some of the J scenes you can unlock deeper in the story are even more bittersweet when you learn more about how they coped, etc.

For Book 1, I would probably say a: 79%. I know that there will be future moments of angst in the series, so I set this book's rating a little lower. It will be a matter of choice in many instances. :D
