Imma be honest… Y’all don’t know how close I was to making Silver and Lilia angst this week. I had a whole comic idea planned out-

She never should have let herself be talked into going to that stupid party. She should have just gone to Eddie's show, drink cheap watered down whiskey and hang with the same five drunks she did every week but she'd let her friends convince her to go to at least one party this year. Ren thought she'd been smart just sticking with bottled soda when she saw Jason was making drinks, he'd been trying to get closer to her for a couple months now but she wanted nothing to do with him. He still treated Eddie like shit and, while she'd put up with a lot, that was one thing that was a hard no for her. It also didn't help that she'd been head over heels in love with Eddie Munson ever since her 18th birthday and no other guy could come close to him in her eyes.

After a while she'd started feeling dizzy and overheated and she blamed that on just the sheer amount of people around her so she figured some fresh air would help her feel better. Little did she know that she was being watched and her soda's had been spiked all night and the person doing it quickly followed behind her.

Everything was a blur after she'd stepped outside until she'd woken up wrapped in a tarp in a fucking box underneath only god knew how much dirt with the last thing she'd heard ringing through her mind.

struggle to catch their breath

grab onto whatever’s close enough to ground themselves in reality

become nauseous / vomit

shake uncontrollably

sweat buckets

get a headache

things people do to combat having nightmares if they occur commonly

sleep near other people so they can hear the idle sounds of them completing tasks

move to a different sleeping spot than where they had the nightmare

leave tvs / radios / phones on with noise

just not sleep (if you want to go the insomnia route)

sleep during the day in bright rooms

things people with insomnia do

first, obviously, their ability to remember things and their coordination will go out the window

its likely they’ll become irritable or overly emotional

their body will start to ache, shake, and weaken

hallucinate if it’s been long enough

it becomes incredibly easy for them to get sick (and they probably will)

no no. you don't get it. the reason I injure my blorbos until they can't walk is because that's the only way they'll ever let someone else carry them. the reason I curse them to be sick and feverish is so that they'll finally open up about their emotions while delirious. the reason I force them to overexert themselves to the point of exhaustion is so that when they pass out they can finally rest.

I'm doing this for their own good.
