Hello, it's my first time asking and it took me a lot of courage to do this. So I recently had a thought about what if the reader and Jing Yuan were childhood friends and she used to tease him a lot when they were younger but then she did something to get exiled from the Xianzhou and became part of the stellaron hunters but came back with blade and Kafka like in the story but after the whole phantiliya battle was finished she still stayed on the Luofu for awhile for nostalgia but got captured by the cloud nights and she was sent to see the general himself. But all this time the reader thought the general would have hated her for what she did but instead of hating her he was waiting for her to come back so he could see her and tease her like how she did to him. Idk if anyone else has already sent an idea like this but I just wanted to share my thoughts and I think it would be a pretty interesting storyline. Sorry if I was rambling but it's okay if you don't write abt this I'll be fine if you just gave some thoughts about it. Thank you for reading this idea of mine and don't worry about answering fast I know you have a lot going on in your life so just take care of yourself! (Also sorry if there are some things that didn't make sense I'm too scared to look back at what I wrote)
Tumblr media
Love this idea!! It’s interesting and you expressed it clearly. Don't be afraid <3
Ah…turning the tables…my favourite 🤤😌 please provide me with more
-CW: yandere, non-con, kidnapping, threaten
In childhood, you and Jing Yuan were friends. Jing Yuan has precocious wisdom and is out of place among his peers, but you don't respect him. Maybe just…jealousy? These are for some childish reasons, maybe he gets perfect marks every time, he gets candy but you don't, and parents on both sides compare you to him. In your eyes, Jing Yuan is just a white-haired little boy who is similar to you. You occasionally pull his soft white hair, make him some strange braids, and often tease him, such as giving him nicknames and laughing at him. The strange thing is that Jing Yuan has never been angry with you and is as tolerant to you as the ocean.
As you grow older, you gradually drift away from each other. You also know that he joined the Cloud Knights and eventually… succeeded general. Seeing him on the Space Channel, the childhood friend you used to tease, became one of the leaders of this space civilization, and you had really mixed emotions.
You have taken your own path in life, become a member of the Stellaron Hunters, and fallen into the gray area. You and the members pick up Blade and accept him as a new member. I heard that he used to be Jing Yuan's best friend, but when you asked him about it, you found that his memory was also blurred.
Just like you.
Looking back on the past and reviving those faded memories, you are a little unsure whether Jing Yuan really never got angry, or whether you subconsciously beautified this memory. How can this be? He definitely hates you.
Before setting off back to Luofu, Elio's message said that this time the script is about Kafka, Blade and you. He tells you to be careful of General Luofu because this time you have only one fate, which is to be [caught], and only this fate can continue your destiny. It seems that most of the details are no longer visible, and your fate is shrouded in mist. You couldn't help but feel funny and told them you'd be fine.
What can Jing Yuan do to you?
However, the wanted portrait is indeed painted lifelike, in Xianzhou's traditional style. It's hard not to think that Jing Yuan provided an extremely detailed proposal in painting the wanted poster about you. It's kind of creepy.
You rescued Blade according to the flow of the script and met with Kafka. While they went to find the rumored Imbibitor Lunae, you spent some time reminiscing on Luofu. Just a moment. The moment you stepped into that familiar place, you immediately fell into unconsciousness. There was a very slight tingling sensation on your neck, like a small ant biting you, and then you fell into the boundless darkness.
When you woke up… your wrists were already locked with iron chains wrapped in feathers, right at the head of the bed. If you don't pay attention, the chain can even become invisible. Accompanying it was the general's narrowed smile, a little mocking but still gentle. The enlarged smile is right in front of you.
"Jing Yuan?! What are you doing?" A kiss electrified your heart. You watched in shock as your childhood friend held the back of your head and kissed you, lingeringly, lovingly. His eyes were closed, as if he was enjoying it, murmuring your name while kissing you. You pushed and kicked him, but he enveloped you like a quilt, crushing you. He places you in the mating position and bottoms out his cock inside you, emptying out his long-unreleased seed.
"Jing Yuan…? Stop! Stop this…"
Jing Yuan won't stop teasing you - you are too cute for him and that doesn't change. He continued to whisper lewd things in your ear, and occasionally lied about having sent a video of your orgasm to people who hated Stellaron Hunters. Your eyes were as wide as a frightened deer and you sucked his cock with resignation, tears falling. And the number of orgasms is so humiliating, you always deny it… You will not lose to the Jing Yuan you used to tease…
Jing Yuan likes you, but does not deny the possibility. Maybe Jing Yuan once really hated you, maybe he hated you during those teasings, but a long life is like peeling off the peel of a fruit in the end, revealing the crystal clear flesh inside. What remains are those sparkling memories. Your bright smile stayed in his memory.

Hello love, I had a thought after the new episode about Crosshair x reader where she’s been with Hunter and wrecker trying to find Omega (and him) and when crosshair steps out of the ship she just runs to him <3 maybe it also includes them talking on the marauder after about what’s happened. I hope this sparks interest for you!! I love your writing :)
Forgiven
Crosshair x Reader
Summary- You reminisce on the first time Crosshair fought against you and his brothers. He thought you'd never forgive him, but he is surprised when you reunite.
A/N- So sorry this one took so long! I'm still sick but was determined to get this out! Thank you for requesting!! I hope you like it, please let me know if there is anything I can do to improve.
Word Count- 2,276
Tumblr media
You remember the first time you realized you lost Crosshair to the Empire. The memory plagued your sleepless nights...
"I know what you're going to do, but please- don't." Omega begged Crosshair. You turned to listen to them, but couldn't figure out what she was talking about. What was he going to do? And how did Omega know about it?
"What do you know?" He remarked.
"I know you can't help it..." She rested a hand to his shoulder. The act warmed your heart, but anxiety rested in the deep pit of your stomach.
You couldn't place exactly why. I mean, you were all imprisoned. But, really, it was nothing the squad hadn't been in before. This was the kind of anxiety that rushed your veins. The kind that appears out of no where and strikes you.
At this feeling, you stood up to move and sit on Crosshairs right. He wasn't very affectionate in public, but you knew the proximity would ease your nerves.
Your hand gently ran down his arm as you sat, he straightened up at your touch. He was on edge as well.
The small gesture of him spreading his right leg slightly wider, to touch you, made you smile. Even in a cell, he could make you feel at home.
He didn't turn to look at you, but took your hand in his, holding it in his lap.
Just seconds later, a masked group of clones arrived.
"CT-9904, you're coming with us."
"Excuse me?" You stood, Hunter was quicker than you though.
"Oh no no, no. We stay together." The clone immediately rammed the butt of his gun into Hunter's stomach. He doubled over in pain.
"Stand down!" The clone yelled. You still advanced, determined to stick together.
A hand grabbed at your wrist. It was Crosshair, still looking down.
"Stop, you'll just get into more trouble." He then looked up at you. He stood, still holding onto you. Your breath hitched, scared for him. What would the Empire do to him?
"Wait!" You called out, he turned around just before stepping out of the cell.
You leaned up and gave him a quick kiss on the lips, somewhat of a 'goodbye.' You could see his face get visibly softer. You pulled him closer for a hug, your face in his neck. "Whatever happens, try to meet us at the Hangar..." You whispered. Only he heard.
He nodded his head at you, then turned to follow the clone. The jail wall went back up.
You watched him walk away, the clones right behind him. "He'll be okay. We'll find a way out." Hunter reassured, a hand on your shoulder.
He was right. You all did find a way out. In an attempt to retrieve everyone's armor, you all rushed to the Hangar. Just before putting your last arm piece on, you stopped. "Where's Crosshair! He should be back by now!" You had hoped he found a way to escape the clones that took him. Looking around again didn't help.
"Tech, power up the ship. The rest of us will go look for Crosshair." Hunter commanded.
No one had a chance to respond, the large doors of the cabin opened to reveal him. He was leading a large squad of troopers.
"Uhh, I don't think we'll have to go far..." Omega spoke.
Your breath hitched, but you weren't scared. Crosshair would never do anything to hurt you. Nor his brothers, right?
"Cross!" You went to meet him, you didn't care about the other clone troopers next to him.
However, Hunter blocked you with his body. You stopped, wary but trusting his extreme senses.
"Best stand down sergeant." Crosshair said, rifle at the ready. "Make it easy on yourself... And your team." He looked you in the eyes, then back to Hunter.
"Have you lost your mind!" Hunter interrogated.
The two of them argued back and forth, though neither side made an official attack.
You were so confused, why would Crosshair turn on everyone. Why would he turn on you? Tears prickled, you placed your helmet on so no one could see.
"Now surrender." Crosshair tried, deep down you didn't think he wanted to injure anyone.
Blast fired everywhere.
Omega covered her head- barred down. You rushed to her, giving her cover. Hunter joined your side, now he was guiding Omega back to the ship.
You, Wrecker, and Echo fought hard, which gave Hunter enough time to usher Omega safely to the ship.
Hunter barely had time to run back out, guns firing, when all the overhead lights went off. The storm outside did nothing to help the lighting.
You crouched down to collect your thoughts, looking through your visor you saw many heat signatures. It was hard to tell who was who, but identified Wrecker by his size and Echo by his arm.
You blasted at the on-coming troopers, distracted by a new wave of them coming in. Someone had called for backup.
A loud scream let you know Wrecker had been shot, you weren't close enough to help him. A glance back showed you Echo and Hunter pulling him to safety.
The second you turned back around the barrel of a gun was pointed at your head. A figure sat inches in front of you, also crouched down.
"Don't say a word." It was Crosshair...
You pushed your helmet off, suddenly desperate for some air. You stared at him with glossy eyes. He wouldn't really shoot you, would he?
"Follow them back to The Marauder. Do not tell a soul I let you." He commanded you, lowering his gun. Was he telling you to escape now?
"Cross, I don't-"
"It's not safe here. You have to run."
"Bu-"
"It is too late for me, but you need to go. Now." When you didn't get up, he raised his rifle at you.
"Go!"
You nodded, shoving your helmet over your head. You wasted no more time as you ran to the ship. Tech closed the ramp and door behind you.
The ship roared off, jumping into hyperspace immediately.
You were left dazed, confused, and heartbroken. How could you lose him so fast?
It had been a long time since you all had to run. Not a day, or night, went by that you didn't think about Crosshair. No matter what he thought about you- he was always going to be your true love.
You could only hope he still felt the same deep down.
While you secretly prayed that you'd run into him again, all your prayers were soon taken up. They shifted to be about Omegas safety, ever since she was physically taken from your arms on Ord Mantell.
They didn't stop until you, Hunter, and Wrecker received a coded message. It contained an abandoned planet's coordinates, sent by 'Lula.' You knew it was Omega, no one else knew about Wreckers (turned Omegas) stuffed doll.
Hunter couldn't fly the ship fast enough, you three soon arrived at the location.
At the sound of another ship landing, Wrecker went to see who it was. Just in case it was some kind of ambush.
Seconds later, you both heard giggles from Omega and laughter from Wrecker.
Hunter looked down at the floor, ashamed.
"Hunter, so see her." You said, resting a friendly hand on his knee.
He was silent for a moment, gaze still down. "What, what if she is ma-"
"Omega loves you, she's not mad at you for anything. Please go see your daughter." You smiled at your own words, and the fact that his face turned red.
He rose and walked out to see her. You followed behind, hugging Omega after she and Hunter had their moment.
"How... how did you escape?" Hunter asked, addressing the elephant in the room.
"I had help." Your smile dimmed, watching the empire ship door closely. A figure walked down, the second you copped a good look- you were running.
A gasp barely had time to leave your mouth, your feet hit the ground in quick strides. You didn't stop until you were met with his body.
He stumbled back, but caught you. Your arms immediately wrapped tightly around him. Like he was going to fade away.
You let out a single sob when his hand lifted to caress your hair, then back. "Cross..."
He didn't say a word, he just squeezed you tight. It told you all you needed to know.
In that moment you forgot all that he did. Heck, you didn't care about any of it. He was here, alive, safe, and not trying to attack anyone.
"I'm sorry.... I'm so, so sorry." He repeated himself, mumbling apologies over and over.
You pulled away, forcing his forehead down to touch yours. "Shut up." You silenced him with a kiss, your eyes closed.
It was an awkward few hours on The Marauder. Wrecker and Hunter were still wary on Crosshair. Truth be told, they had a right to be. Omega defended him when she could, but everyone needed to accept the change on their own time.
That Crosshair's days with the Empire was now in the past.
Omega soon fell asleep on Hunter, you could tell she needed a good nights sleep. One where she wasn't constantly looking over her shoulder, or scared someone would come in her sleeping quarters.
As Hunter put her to bed, Wrecker found himself on the verge of sleep too. He headed to one of the two cots hidden in the back.
"Hunter, go to bed." You gently suggested.
"You sure you'll be okay?" He eyed Crosshair, still not trusting.
"I'm a big girl Hunter. Plus, I don't think Cross would be dumb enough to go against all of us with no weapons." You tried to joke, but the tension was so thick you could cut it. Both men raised an eyebrow at you.
You sighed, "Go to bed. I'm fine, really." He nodded and headed off. That left you and Crosshair alone in the cockpit.
It was quiet for a minute, both of you were scared to speak first. It was all so... real, so serious all of a sudden.
"How bad was it?" You asked, turned away from him on purpose.
"Worse than you can imagine." He didn't mean to, but he broke your heart at his words.
You turned to face him, quickly taking note of how his hand shook. You looked from his hand to his face, he tried to hide it.
"Uhm, I guess i'll take the first watch if you want to get some rest." You were so uncomfortable. There was an unspoken thought dancing around the room. While you wanted to kiss and hold him, there was a weird air that surrounded you both. It made you question every move, like it was your first date all over again.
"Right..." Was all he could muster. He was terrified of saying the wrong thing.
He bit this fear back with his next words. "I wish, I wish I could go back. Do things... differently."
"I know. Me too." You tried to meet his gaze, but he stared at the wall.
You were tired of this. What happened to the two of you?
"Crosshair."
"Hmm?"
"What's wrong."
He stared.
"Cross, if you don't love me anymore just tell me. Don't beat around the bush."
This made him snap his head at you. "What? You have no idea what you're talking about."
"Really? Because after I kissed you, you haven't touched me! We used to tell each other everything, now we can't hold simple conversation! I Know a lot happened, I am so sorry you went through what you did. It shatters me just thinking about you getting hurt... but please, talk to me." You pleaded.
He grunted and sat up straight. "You deserve someone better! That's why. Because you shouldn't want to be with someone who turned on his brothers. Who abandoned his team. Who tried to kill the person he loved most. Maybe I should stop beating around the bush, you'll realize what I really am. Disposable."
You blinked up at him, heart beating fast. You didn't know what to say.
Crosshair 'humphed' and slouched back in his chair.
You rose to your feet, standing in front of him. You took his shaking hand in yours. "The man I love came back. He saved Omega. I know deep down you are the same Crosshair I fell in love with. The man that, even when controlled by an inhibitor chip, managed to let me run free. You could have killed me, that's what the chip told you to do... but, you didn't. Crosshair, I won't- I can't blame you for doing anything under the control of your chip."
"I did awful things after that chip was taken out..." He still thought he was unworthy, trying to make you agree.
"You can't push me away. You can't push away the people who love you." You still held his shaking hand in yours, raising your other to rest on his cheek.
"I forgive you... I truly do. I know it will be a long time until you forgive yourself, but I will be right here when you do. The guys will come around, just wait. I promise everything will be okay."
He closed his eyes, leaning into your palm. You moved down, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. At his, he rested his hands on your hips and pulled you to his lap.
You curled yourself up, finally feeling that warm comfort you always felt in him.
You kiss him again, slowly this time.
"I'll do better..." He croaked.
"I know you will."
A/N- Thank you so much for reading! I have fr been sick for a whole week, like give me a break, body! When I am feeling 100% I will come back and fix any grammatical errors. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Me again! Here’s one that popped into my head randomly. What if the gender-neutral reader is “hunted” (or playfully tracked) by each BB clone? Like the reader took one of their blasters and is chased to get it back? Oooh and the reader takes Crosshair’s rifle!
Yeah, you, again, know that face by now 😁Hi! Uhm, well, let me give it a try...
TBB x Gender-neutral Reader (Extended) HCs – Lost Something? Part 1 Of 5 Hunter
Tumblr media
Warnings: None (So far)
Ko-Fi (If you feel like giving me some coffee)
Tumblr media
It starts with a simple assertion on your part. "I bet I can sneak up on you and steal something you're wearing on your body, like your blaster." Hunter raises his eyebrows. He laughs softly and says with amusement, "I think that's highly unlikely. My perception, as you already know, is much sharper than that of other people. You would never get close enough to me, at least not without me noticing" You smile unperturbed. You watch him, listen to him explain further. "Even if you could manage that, you can't hide from me, I'd be on your heels far too quickly. Stealing from me is much harder than you think" You nod slowly, kiss his cheek gently and say, "Okay, you're probably right. But the thought was interesting" Hunter laughs softly again. "Are you bored?" You grin at him and say, "No, I'm just naturally curious" Hunter kisses the corner of your mouth and strokes your cheek with one finger. "I see. Well, maybe we can discuss some more of your curious thoughts tonight. But now I have to go, I'm sure Echo is already waiting for me" You smile contentedly and say, "I'm looking forward to tonight"
You look after him until he disappears around the next corner to go to the meeting point at the market, where Echo is waiting for him. With a smile, you raise your right hand and look down at its contents. Hunter's blaster is in your hand. "Incredibly sharp senses," you say with a soft laugh.
Tumblr media
Hunter walks alongside Echo through the market, looking for the stall of the merchant who sells them certain spare parts under the table, while he tells him about the conversation between you and him. Echo frowns a little, but he listens before saying, "And you told them, of course, that no one can steal anything from you that easily, hmm? Hunter laughs, a beaming smile on his face. He likes talking about you, any thought related to you is usually enjoyable. "Of course. I also told them they should know that" Echo nods slowly, completely calm, a barely noticeable smirk at the corners of his mouth. "Of course," he says, sounding almost subliminally sarcastic. Hunter shrugs and says, "We all know that no one can sneak up on me" "And where's your blaster then, genius? Have you forgotten it?" grumbles Echo, the smirk already a little more visible on his lips. Hunter glances hastily at the holster. Empty. "This can't be real," he says, stunned, almost a little breathless.
Tumblr media
When your comm beeps, you know it's Hunter before you even look at the display. "Hi honey," you say sweetly. Hunter sounds dry as he says, "You tricked me" You laugh softly and say, "But that was the point. I proved my theory. I can very definitely steal from you" You feel it coming before it happens, but you don't have time to react. The next moment you're wedged between Hunter and a building wall. "I also said you can't hide from me," Hunter says with a smoky voice and a small smirk. Your heart is pounding in your throat, but not really from fear, it's a certain, energizing excitement. You concede, "Okay, yeah you said that and obviously you're right" Hunter reaches under your jacket, pulls out his blaster and puts it back in its holster. "I'm afraid you can't keep this, I still need it," he says, amused.

Read under the cut
“Okay kids, stay close please!”
Neteyam chuckled as he watched you try to corral Tuk’s class outside. His baby sister mentioned you were taking her class to watch the Pa’li today, and Neteyam decided he would just happen to be there at the same time.
He leaned against a tree, trying to make himself look busy, whittling a Pa’li toy for Tuk. Seemingly, Neteyam was an attentive older brother waiting for his youngest sister to finish class so he could walk her home, nothing more, nothing less. But he knew in the back of his mind that he was here for you, Tuk’s teacher.
You were so different to the hunters and the healers of the clan, so inherently motherly and extremely intelligent. Neteyam enjoyed watching you giggle at the kids while they looked around in amazement, how your eyes sparkled when your students repeated something correctly. And though you were Omaticaya through and through, Neteyam enjoyed how you dressed differently; with long skirts that covered your front and back, with slits that travelled up both sides, Neteyam felt like a perv whenever he looked at your hipbones for too long. You favoured beaded anklets, and backless, beaded tops. Neteyam could not help but blush at the thought of wrapping your long legs around his neck, wearing you as his own necklace, and running his hands through your soft wavy hair that was always undone, flowing down your back.
“And what do the Pa’li eat?” You asked your kids, sweetly. The majority of them were shy, afraid to get it wrong, were afraid to try. But little Tuktirey Sully’s hand shot right up, she waved it around like she was going to bust if she did not get picked to say the answer. You knew it wasn’t right for a teacher to have favourites, you loved all the kids for different reasons.
But Tuk was your favourite.
“Tuk.” You said, easing the little girl of her fervour, nodding you allowed her to speak.
“Nectar!” She said with a beaming smile, you laughed, sharing your own smile with the youngest daughter of Toruk Macto.
“Yes! That’s right Tuk, the Pa’li eat nectar.”
Neteyam couldn’t help but laugh at Tuk’s antics, and couldn’t help but fall further into his crush when you supported his little sister. He felt like a fool, like a freak. Every time he saw you he felt like he was in heat. Like you were made for him, and him alone. He saw how you loved the kids, how you taught them, you knew every one of them inside and out. Neteyam wanted nothing more than to put a baby in you of his own. He wanted to see your stomach swell and raise his family with you, he wanted you to mother your children with him. He would always get to this point in his head, reasoning with himself. These feelings were normal for him, he was twenty-two years old, and he was definitely a man, in manhood, crushes for men turned into wanting a family and that was normal.
It was just a crush and he definitely wasn’t in love with you and he most certainly did not want to breed you. That would be weird.
Especially since Neteyam has never plucked up the courage to speak with you.
As you taught your class about the Pa’li and how they work with the ecosystem and the Na’vi, your eyes could not help but trail to the mighty warrior leaning against the tree.
Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk’itan.
Tuk’s older brother, the firstborn son of the Olo’eyktan, the heir to the Omaticaya leadership, and the fiercest hunter of the clan. Your crush that bloomed for the boy when you were fifteen had still never left you. How could it? He was stunning. And manhood suited him well, his broad shoulders and veined arms and hands. You blushed aggressively, tucking loose strands of hair behind your ears as his eyes caught your own. He had never caught you checking him out before, all the times he had picked up Tuk from lessons, all the times at dinner and during ceremonies. Never. The one time was when you had twenty Na’vi children at your feet and you were trying to teach.
“Okay my little loves, I think we can all go home early today!” You said dismissing the kids. You chuckled to yourself, as they all ran off immediately. You supposed some ran to play, others to head home.
They all ran but one.
“Tuk honey, time to go!” You said ruffling the girl’s hair as she clung to your leg, cuddling you. She did this every day, at the end of every class, without fail. “Tuk-Tuk, your brother is here.” You said to the young girl and giggled as her eyes lit up, turning around, scanning the area for Neteyam.
As Neteyam strode confidently towards the two of you, you noticed the wooden toy he carried in his hand.
“Neteyam!” Tuk ran to him, jumping. The warrior picked her up like she was nothing, spinning her around before placing her back on the stable ground. Her giggles sounded like music to your ears.
“This is for you Tuk.” The older brother said, handing the lovingly-made Pa’li toy to the young girl.
“Thank you.” She said, hugging his leg, as she had done to you only moments before. The whole scene made your chest bloom. Not only was he going to be a great clan leader one day, but you knew Neteyam would be the perfect father. “(y/n)!” Tuk yelled for you, grabbing her brother by the wrist, and marching him closer and closer to where you stood.
“(y/n) look at this! My brother Neteyam made me a Pa’li!” You leant over as Tuk showed you the wooden toy. Her smile looked like it was going to cleave her little face in half. And you couldn’t help but giggle, hiding it behind your hand.
“Wow!” You said, straightening up. It was now or never and you knew that you could either take control of the situation, being so close to Neteyam, or you could let your heart hurt for the rest of your life. “What a talented brother you have, Tuk!” You smiled at Neteyam, while Tuk stood in between the both of you, you felt the young girl lean against your leg while holding Neteyam’s hand still.
Neteyam felt like Tuk had betrayed him somehow, by bringing the two of you this close. What a talented brother you have.
Neteyam wanted to jump out of his skin. Nervously his free hand found the back of his neck, scratching a foreign itch. He knew he was blushing. Some warrior he was.
“It was nothing really, you’re the one actually teaching the kids about them.” Neteyam said, shocked he found any words at all. He could’ve sworn he melted when you smiled softly at him, your round eyes glittering in the afternoon light.
“It’s nothing really,” You said mirroring the boy- no, the man. “Teaching is just practice for having kids of my own.”
Neteyam felt like he was going to throw up. How did you know? Did you know? You must know how he dreams of impregnating you. He felt the burn run across his cheeks and ears.
“You would like children of your own one day?” Neteyam felt his mouth run before his head could catch up. He was stumbling through a dream he’s sworn he’s had before, as the two of you walked shoulder to shoulder towards home. Tuk ran a little way in front, playing an imaginary game with her new toy.
Your chuckle was like nothing he had ever heard before and he felt absolutely drunk off the sound.
“Yes! A whole litter, preferably.” You exclaimed excitedly. If this was a dream Neteyam would have already gotten you under him.
But this was not a dream.
It was the two of you standing rather awkwardly next to one another at the entrance to his family home. Tuk waiting at the threshold for her brother.
“So, are you courted then?” Neteyam wanted to bash his own skull open at the brazen question. He’s fucked it, the whole situation.
He watched how your blush grew, but you kept your intelligent eyes trained on his own.
“No, not yet-”
“Neteyam.” His mother, Neytiri, interrupted you, she sent you an apologetic look, as she stood on the threshold, arms crossed over her chest.
Neteyam felt like his whole body was on fire, he was so utterly embarrassed. For asking you that question in the first place, for his mother hearing him do so, and the overwhelming relief he felt when you had said no.
“Neteyam, aren’t you going to invite (y/n) in for dinner?” Neytiri said.
Neytiri wasn’t stupid, she wasn’t an ignorant child. She saw how her eldest son pined for Tuk’s teacher, and in turn how the young woman would watch her son.
She would be a good Tsahik. She would be good for Neteyam. And so, Neytiri prodded into her son’s personal life with no remorse as she ushered herself and Tuk back inside the home, closing the tent flap as she did so, providing the young couple with some rare privacy.
Neteyam chuckled, shaking his head, braids swinging as he did so. Embarrassed, Neteyam continued.
“Would you like to join us for dinner?”
“I would love to, only if it’s not too much hassle.” You felt alight. Like everything was falling into place. And you promised that you would pray to Eywa for this blessing that she presented to you.
“Never a hassle.” Neteyam smiled as he opened the tent flap, ushering you into his home. He could not help but imagine the home that you would make together.
You were so nervous. You sat in between Tuk and Neteyam. Tuk playing with her new toy, and some of her old ones, using your right thigh as a table. Neteyam’s tail was subconsciously running along the small of your back. And, it may be selfish but you did not have the heart to tell him to stop. Nor did you want to.
Jake and Neytiri sat across from you, Kiri next to Tuk, and Lo’ak nestled himself between Jake and Neteyam. You watched as Jake’s eyes went between you and his eldest son. Like something wasn’t adding up in his calculative mind. You felt like you were being perceived, being viewed, rather than being seen.
“So, (y/n).” Toruk Macto started, and you felt like falling through the floor. You were unaware that he knew what your name was. “Is there something wrong with Tuk’s learning?” At the mention of her name, Tuk stopped playing, her round eyes and pouting lips turned towards you in anticipation. Placing your hand on the young girl’s head, smoothing down her braids to reassure her, you answered your Olo'eyktan.
“No, no not at all. Tuk is my brightest student, actually.” You felt the young girl return back to her game, snuggling closer to your form. Jake was beaming, happy to hear about the success of his youngest.
“With all due respect, my dear, why are you here then?” Jake asked, Neytiri hissed at him, smacking him in the chest. Grabbing her hand, his strong fingers rubbed circles into her flesh.
You felt your heart swell at the site of the two mates. Simultaneously you felt Neteyam’s hand rest on your right thigh. You leaned into his touch, craving so much more.
“I invited (y/n) for dinner, Sir.” Neteyam spoke, though calm, you saw the flickering of the muscle in his neck. He was nervous, too.
Jake did not miss this action, smiling slightly. Finally, his suspicions regarding his oldest son were confirmed. Jake always knew Neteyam harboured a crush on the girl- everyone in their family knew that. But since she became Tuk’s teacher, Neteyam would always offer to drop his youngest at her lessons, and would always be the first to collect her when they were done.
“Well, you’re welcome anytime here, (y/n), don’t be a stranger.” Jake said, continuing his meal.
Toruk Macto watched his eldest son steal glances from the teacher, and watched Neteyam’s tail curl around her hips like a second protective nature. He watched as his youngest tried to pry her way into the young woman’s lap. He noticed how patient she was with his other boy, how supportive, how kind. It did not escape him that she did not care or moreover, notice Kiri’s extra fingers or toes, or more humane features. Instead, the two girls spoke of Eywa and everything Pandora’s delicate ecosystem had to offer. Jake felt his heart start to bloom when the young teacher showed respectful practice to his mate, as she cleared their plates and assisted in washing up.
And, Jake decided, he was excited for the day that his son plucked the courage to court you. Ready to welcome another daughter into his family.

♪˖ now playing .
all the stars . ( SZA ) ⊹.
Early in the morning, where the sky presented shades of pink and blue, you set off towards the Sully’s marui to collect Neteyam.
You’d gotten used to waking up this early, enjoying the hues of the sky and the coolness of the sea, you’d be happy to share it with Neteyam.
With a small bounce in your stride you quietly greet some hunters that pass, seemingly on their way out for some early morning hunting.
Unknown to you, a few hunters crane their necks back around as you pass, smirking to themselves at the thought of who you were off to see this early.
The whispers amongst them are silent to your ears, your mind already occupied with a certain someone.
It’s safe to assume most of the Sully family is still asleep, they probably would have no reason to be up at this time. Hopefully you wouldn’t have to wake Neteyam.
And your thoughts are cut to and end as you approach the Sully’s marui, a familiar figure sat outside with his legs dipped into the water.
“Good morning, Neteyam.” You speak while walking to stand next to him, keeping your voice at a quiet volume as to not disturb the rest of his sleeping family.
His ears perk up instantly, and he almost turns his whole body around to face you, but quickly calms down and just looks up at you. He inhales. “Good morning, y/n.” Immediate exhale, as if he had been preparing to say the words the second he woke up.
Your eyes scrunch as a smile reaches your face, but your expression turns to one of anxiousness. “I hope you weren’t waiting here too long, and sorry… I never really specified on the time, that was my bad.”
Neteyam doesn’t seem to be too disappointed though, in fact he looks a whole lot more bright after your appearance. “No, no it’s fine, I uh— I woke up awhile ago.” His eyes continuously flicker from your own to the ground as he talks.
With another smile placed on your face you make your way around him, “should we get to the ilu then?”
He scrambles to stand, “yea- okay.” His tail sways low behind him, and he freezes when he hears your quiet laugh as you walk away, a heat rushing to his face.
He mindlessly follows like a lost child.
The sounds of the ocean clashing against itself further relaxes you, and you take a saddle from the rack provided.
“You don’t mind riding with me, right?” You kneel down and start calling out to your ilu.
He abruptly turns to you, “oh, no. No it’s fine… it’s good.” coughing after his words.
“Okay good.” You speak while adjusting the saddle on your ilu. “I wouldn’t want to get separated outside the reef.”
“Yea…” Neteyam’s words slip out involuntarily as he becomes distracted by your attire of the day. It’s beautiful, no doubt. And he somehow feels a little special at the sight of a new outfit on your form as he dives into the cool water.
Once he rises to the surface a shaky exhale leaves him, his breath becomes quick and he sets his gaze upon you who is sat comfortably on your ilu. “It’s so cold.” He states the obvious.
You give him a pitiful smile as your shoulders raise in a silent laugh. “You get used to it.” With that you offer a hand out towards him.
He grasps your hand, but not once breaking his eye contact til he has to.
And now as you both sit on the ilu, Neteyam finds himself contemplating on where he should rest his hands. He would rest them on your waist like any other passenger would, but then again, it’s you.
The girl who had him looking through crowds just to find that certain pair of pretty eyes. The girl who had welcomed him and his family into the clan with no hesitation.
The girl he looked forward to seeing everyday. Who made his mornings a little more brighter.
Such sappy thoughts as he’s sat directly behind you, and it seems his mind had drifted so far that he didn’t realise his own hands, that had already made themselves comfortable around your waist as you direct your ilu out of the reef.
“I’m sorry for making you get up so early, you probably had plans today.” You speak your thoughts aloud, but thing is, Neteyam had cleared his whole schedule for you. Not that he had much planned at all, he had just let his parents know he’d be out for the morning, and they surprisingly didn’t ask for any specific details about his whereabouts.
He snaps out of it, again. “You don’t need to be sorry, I didn’t have anything to do anyways.” He’s pleased as your smile comes back on to your face as he peers out to see your side profile. “And I wanted to come.”
It had been awhile as the two of you continuously dived and surfaced through the water, looking for the best shells. at least, that was the case for you.
Neteyam had forced himself to hold his breath longer than he had practiced for, all to see your form glide through the oceans current.
He admired your movements, this time up close.
The way your hair had moved like silk through the water, and the way your body moved with the direction of the sea.
Once again he needs a breath, he quickly swims up towards the surface with the help of your ilu.
He gasps once he had reached the surface, but wastes no second to quickly plunge his head back underwater to locate you, who had began swimming up towards him.
You surface without so much as a sigh for air. “Are you alright?”
He hates the burning feeling down his throat, the result of accidentally swallowing some of the water when he was to distracted by you. “Yea, sorry I just— I need to practice breathing more, I guess.”
You giggle, and a thought enters your head. “Wait here a second.” You pat his shoulder reassuringly. He gives a shy smile.
You dive underwater once again, this time looking for a specific creature.
After a few moments of being underwater searching, you now come across what you had been looking for, quickly taking it and making your way back to Neteyam.
Once you surface, his head immediately snaps to you, then to the creature in your hands. “What it that?”
“It will help you breathe. You need to make the bond.” You reply and wait for him to connect to the creature, he does so hesitantly but surely. After that was done, you reach around his shoulders to place the creature comfortably on his back. “Now you can stay underwater longer with me.”
His eyes rest on your hands that remain on his shoulders, then back to you. Swallowing before he speaks, “good.”
Your eyes scan over his, what is visible, form before slowly tracing your hand from his shoulder down to his hand.. “Let’s go.” Another warm smile on your face, contagious, as it makes Neteyam smile even bigger.
You guide him by the hand, diving underwater and he follows with no hesitation, your fingers still intertwined.
The sun from above you, casted a shadow to form below you. The both of you look down, waving at your own shadows playfully.
You continue to take him deeper until the two of you are down next to the coral and other various sea life.
‘Let’s look for shells together.’ You sign, detaching your hands.
He looks confused for a moment. In his time of being here in the village, he only learnt some of the underwater language that you and Tsireya had taught him. He followed your hands as they moved… let’s… shells…together? He got the gist of what you’d were communicating, and he nods as a reply.
You take his hand once more, prompting him to follow you as you swim just above the oceans floor, occasionally brushing through it to find any hidden jewels.
While focused on your search, Neteyam finds himself looking at a different type of jewel.
In a way, your skin reminded him of the rich minerals he sometimes found in the caves back at home, a glowing blue that was even prettier under the water.
He also finds himself tightening his grip on your hand, just slightly. It almost goes unnoticed.
With your thumb, you rub his knuckles softly, and he can’t help but blush at the realisation of him being caught.
The two of you had searched the nearby sea top to bottom, occasionally going back up to the surface to breathe and share some words.
Neteyam hated the communication barrier he had with you underwater, and he promises himself that when the next lesson came, he’d try extra hard to get all the signs memorised.
The day continues with the two of you swimming through the water as it slowly got darker, not that either of your had noticed.
You had both found some beautiful shells, and once your hands got full you would put them in the bag that was attached to your ilu’s saddle.
Going through every crevice of the coral and searching every inch of sand, sometimes riding your ilu to go to another location, you both grew tired of the swimming, and you point upwards towards the surface as Neteyam follows.
You both gasp for the air, and quickly open your eyes to find each other. After calling your ilu, it’s then when the both of you realise the time.
The orange and pink hues in the sky indicate it’s soon night. You look at Neteyam, and he looks at you. You both start to laugh at the realisation. You had been out together all day.
“I…” your own giggle stops you for a moment, “sorry I didn’t mean to keep you out this long.”
His own laugh becomes louder, biting his lip to calm down, “no it’s alright. I had a lot of fun.” He climbs his way to sit behind you on your ilu, this time not hesitating to slide his hands around your waist as you guide your ilu underwater back to the village.
While the occasional times the two of you are above the water, you converse about all the shells you found, the topic soon changed though.
“Think we can make it back without our parents making a fuss?” You ponder aloud, momentarily looking behind you to find his gaze.
“No way.” He says, “but it’s worth it.”
“Why’s that?” A puzzled expression is put on your face.
“Because I got to spend time with you.”
Oh? He seemed to be getting more confident with his words, todays events made him more comfortable around you, and you love every second of it.
Shutting your eyes for a second and trying to hold back a smile you speak again. “I liked spending time with you as well.”
You had finally returned back to Awa’atlu. You wait until Neteyam climbed off of the ilu and stood onto the woven platform just above the sea. He reaches a hand out to help you lift yourself up next to him.
Once you had the bag of shells you both collected, and taken the saddle off your ilu, it was time to take yourself and Neteyam back home.
“I’ll walk you home.” You speak as you place the saddle back onto its place on the rack amongst others.
His tails swishes in contemplation. “You don’t mind?”
“No, of course not.”
He hums in appreciation, nodding his head downwards slightly as a sign of respect. The two of you begin walking to Neteyams home.
“We found a lot of good ones today, but I think it’s too much to go through today. So maybe we should take another day to go through it all together.” You state as your hand remains firm on the strap of the bag, “that way we both get an even amount, and you could make some jewellery for your family… if you’d like.”
He brightens up for the umpteenth time that day, the thought of being graced with your presence for another day bringing him to a peaceful mind space. “Yea, definitely. I’m free whenever so, just come over and we can go wherever you’d like.”
Your smile at his words immediately makes his knees feel weak, his heart also speeding up, not that anyone would notice of course.
“Here we are.” You stop a few feet from the entrance to his home. Neteyam snaps out of his trance and is brought back to reality.
“Ah.” He acknowledges, also noting the presence of his whole family inside the marui. “Thank you.” He turns his back to his family to continue conversing with you. “For today I mean, I don’t think I’ve gotten out alot since I got here.” He admits with a shy smile.
“Well, now you’ve got someone who will show you everything.” You reply sweetly, “I promise you ,I’ll take you everywhere on this island.”
Neteyam is stuck by your sincerity, completely in awe. “Sounds like a plan.” He’s starting to look forward to his life in this new environment.
You huff out a short giggle before you remember where you should be, “it’s getting late, I should get back home.” As much as you hate to leave him, it has to be done.
He hums from half disappointment and half understanding. “Alright. I’ll see you tomorrow, y/n.” He takes a glance over your whole form before you had to leave.
“See you, Neteyam.” You wave while you start to head back towards your own home.
He finds himself stood there for a prolonged moment, staring at your retreating form before the voices of his family inside the marui bring him back.
Once inside, he’s immediately stopped upon noticing the silence as he enters, he looks up from the floor, only to find his whole family sat in some form of a circle, staring at him.
His own face turns to one of confusion, raising his brow sassily.
He quickly noticed his fathers smirk, but all attention is put to Lo’ak when he bursts out laughing.
“Stop it! Stop it!” Kiri jabs at him with her finger, also trying to shush tuk as she begins giggling.
Lo’ak gets a few words out in between laughs “well that answers our question.” That’s when his father starts to slip out a few of his own chuckles.
Among all the chaos of the fits of laughter, his mothers voice is what silences it. “Where have you been Neteyam?” She stands up and walks out of the circle towards her son.
“Sorry I— I’ve been out with y/n all day.” No point in making an excuse, especially with his mother.
“All day?” What have you been doing?” She’s quick with her questions and wants all details.
Neteyam gets a little quieter at the tone of his mothers voice. “She asked if I wanted to find shells with her.”
Neytiri softens at her sons tone, and suddenly is pushing his hair off his shoulders, then holding it all back with her hand making it look like he has a ponytail.
She scans for no longer than five seconds before releasing the boys hair. “Just tell someone where you are next time.” She speaks, and then backs off to finish off preparing diner.
Neteyam had watched as him mother left him be, and for a moment he thought he saw a smile on her face.
“Come sit, you’re probably hungry.” She insists once she had realised the fish is now done.
He smiles, and walks towards the circle to sit between his brother and littlest sister, Tuk.
As Neytiri handed out the food, and everyone making conversation of some type, Lo’ak leans a little closer to his older brother, a sly smirk on his face. “So you and y/n huh?
Neteyam pushes his face away with the palm of his hand, “shut up, bro.” He could deny that, but there’s no denying the smile he had on his face the rest of that night.

that type of love ۵ d.h
derek hale x fem!reader
summary: derek hale is over protective, and even more so when it comes to his girlfriend.
warnings: reader, allison and lydia are drunk. over protective derek.
___________________________________________________
‘she hasn’t texted me since nine, stiles, it’s now almost one in the morning’ derek groans out, running a hand through his already messy hair. his mind is spinning, his heart beats racing. he hates when this happens, when he comes across like he’s crazy and won’t let his girlfriend do her own thing. he has no problem with that, he has absolutely no problem with his girlfriend going out with her friends. but when it’s been around five hours and no response, he can’t help the anxiety that rushes through his body.
she promised him, she promised she would text him and make sure he knew that she was safe. and she promised to tell him if anything happened. but now his mind is going crazy, wondering if something did happen and maybe she can’t text him or call him. then he starts to really panic.
the thought of his girl, hurt somewhere, needing him but unable to get to him. just the thought makes his heart drop to his stomach.
‘you know they are probably fine, they just went for a meal and now they are having some drinks’ stiles says calmly, trying not to further stress the werewolf out in front of him.
‘i can’t just sit here not knowing if she’s okay, stiles. my heart literally feels like its at the pit of my stomach’ he says, pacing around the loft. he takes a deep breath, trying to remain calm as he, stiles and scott sit and wait for their girlfriends to come back. or even just call. something.
derek knows he’s probably putting doubts in the boys in front of him. but he just can’t help it. his girlfriend is precious to him. god forbid anyone did anything to hurt or harm her in any way. he remembers the last time she went out with lydia and allison, she texted back every. time. granted, she was very drunk so the text messages didn’t make much sense, but at least he knew she was okay. and god, does she get soft when she drinks; it’s something he adores about her.
so the fact that this time there was no response from her, made his stomach churn and his head ache.
‘they said they’d be back here at eleven, at the latest’ derek says, crossing his arms across his broad chest. scott sighs. he understands better than stiles does, he thinks. he is protective over allison, but he is comforted by the fact she is a trained hunter and always carries around weapons with her just in case. whereas, y/n, is a human and is not a trained fighter. he knows y/n can take care of herself, but he understands why derek is so protective of her.
he has never seen derek as desperately in love with somebody, before. and although he would never say it to them, everybody knows it and can see it. he’s almost a different person when she is around, he’s much gentler, and softer. he looks at her like she hung the moon, and treats her as if she’s as delicate as the stars surrounding it.
derek slumps down onto the sofa again, pulling out his phone for the one hundredth time tonight. still no response. he’s sent an absurd amount of tests at this point, just needing to know she is okay.
‘hi bub. sorry to bother you, you okay?’
‘i’m sorry to text again sweetheart, just hope you’re okay’
‘i’m getting a little worried now, please let me know you are safe’
‘baby?’
‘i hate doing this but you know i cant rest unless i know you’re okay, please reply when you can beautiful’
he can’t help feeling the ache in his chest, reading the last message she sent him around nine. ‘i’m okay der, we are just at this random club idk where, i love you!!!! x’.
stiles looms over at scott, shrugging a little, both not knowing what they can do to help. i guess it’s just a waiting game now.
ღ.ღ.ღ.ღ.ღ.ღ
i giggle uncontrollably as lydia trips along the sidewalk. my eyes are teary from all the laughing, and partly the alcohol, and partly the cold air. the road appears blurry and spinning in front of me as i hold onto my friends for support as we walk the walk back to the loft. the loft. where my gorgeous boyfriend is waiting for me.
‘everything is spinning’ allison says with a sigh, as me and lydia nod along with her. it really is.
‘i’m so so so so cold’ i shiver, picking up the pace as we get closer to the loft. ‘i had such a good time tonight, we need to do this more often’ lydia says, pulling me into her side more as we attempt to warm our drunken selves up together. i nodded, ‘definitely’
we really did have the best night, we had an amazing meal and then went to the club nearby. we had way too much to drink, but danced together all night like there wasn’t a worry in the world. we have been walking for a while, i wanted to call derek and ask him to pick us up, but my phone died around nine o’clock. i didn’t even realise the battery was low. despite how much fun i have had, in the back of my mind all night i have been worried about derek. i know how worried and over protective he gets, but with the company of scott and stiles i hope he’s been okay.
when the loft came into my view, i grinned. ‘my boyfriend!’ i exclaim, pulling the girls faster with me as i rush to the door.
‘i didn’t know your boyfriend was an old rusty building’ lydia slurs. i giggle, my head falling on her shoulder. ‘n-no, silly, inside it!’
‘there’s a small chance i might throw up’ allison says with a very serious expression on her face. this just makes me laugh even more than before.
i stumble up the stairs, sliding open the door with all of the energy left in me. derek’s head shoots towards me, as he stands up faster than he ever has before, and rushes over.
‘thank god’ i hear him murmur, as he pulls me into his chest. i giggle, ‘mm, missed you’ i slur, snuggling into the warmth of his chest. i didn’t realise just how cold it was out there until now. derek sighs, pulling back from the hug, ‘you’re freezing, come with me’
i follow him up his stairs the best i can, snickering when my leg slightly gives way. ‘careful, baby’ derek says with a small grin on his face. we reach his bedroom, so i plop myself on the edge of his bed, watching him as he walks towards the closet. he pulls out my favourite hoodie of his, and a pair of my black cotton shorts i leave here.
by the time he reaches me, i’m already peeling off the dress i have had on for far too long. my whole body shivered as i stood there, before derek pulls the hoodie over my head, then helped me step into the shorts.
finally, once i’m warmer and more comfortable, i sit beside him on the bed. ‘i missed you’ i repeat, snuggling into his shoulder. he hums, ‘missed you too, baby. why didn’t you reply to any of my texts?’ he says, and i don’t need to be completely sober to notice how tense his body is. i lift my head up, looking at his droopy eyes, and i instantly feel guilty.
‘my phone died, i’m sorry’ i say, placing on hand on his flushed cheeks. ‘i’m sorry if i worried you’, i know how worried he gets. my chest aches just thinking about how he must have felt all night.
‘no, no it’s not your fault. just got a bit worried, s’all’ he mumbles, placing his hand on the side of my jaw, pressing a kiss on the tip of my red, cold nose.
‘was it just a bit worried, or was it very worried?’ i tease, grinning at him as he rolls his eyes. ‘shut up’ he mumbles, leaning in and pressing a firm kiss on my lips. he lets out a sigh into the kiss, which i know is him feeling relieved.
‘you know i would have texted you back if i could, i can show you my phone if-’
‘no, no i believe you baby. don’t worry about that’ he says, shuffling back to the head of the bed and pulling me with him. ‘come on, lay down with me’ he says softly.
he rests his head on the pillow, as i lean down and snuggle up into his chest. the warmth of his body pulls me in, his arms stretching around my waist and one moving to interlock his fingers with mine.
‘fuck, i’m so glad you’re safe’ he mumbles, causing a little smile to form on my face.
‘i love you’ i whisper, pressing a small kiss to his chest. ‘i love you, so much’ he replies, closing his eyes as he can finally relax.

Okay, so in honor of all the Hermits stirring things up on Twitter today, let's REALISTICALLY consider Season Ten. What do we know, what are our clues, actually???
(Speculating and overanalyzing are really fun so I'm just going to embrace my tendency to Listify Everything and spill my thoughts on Season Ten under the cut!)
First Evidence: The Words of the Hermits.
Nine Days ago Scar said in his Jellie tribute video that Season Ten was “Just around the corner”. Five days ago on the 18th, right after the Hermit meeting that probably finalized their start of the season plans, Cub posted his cryptic tweet whose incorrect capitalizations spelled out “SEASON TEN SOON”. I can't imagine either of those hermits using that phrasing if the season start was more than a month away.
What's more, Gem posted yesterday the 23 that “If hermitcraft s10 doesn’t start soon I’m gonna explode!!!” I can't imagine Gem being that impatient unless there was only a couple of weeks or maybe just one week left before filming.
Second Point to Consider: Hermit Conscientiousness.
The Hermits sre generally really kind to each other and have known when the Hermitcraft Vault Hunters challenge was going to end (Jan 31st, midnight) for months. Per Iskall, the videos of the Herald Vault will drop February 1rst and I can't imagine they'd want video competition between that content and the new season.
Clue Three: The Streaming Activities of the Hermits.
The sheer amount of time Joe has spent playing Vault Hunters lead me to believe they can't have started filming for Season 10 yet. Seriously, when Joe finally has a day without a bonus Vault Hunters stream I'm gonna get mighty suspicious. Joe has streamed more than three hours of Vault Hunters every single day for a week. There was Wednesday when he did his art stream, but I wouldn't expect that to have been a launch day because:
Fact Four: Editing turn around times are so grindy.
The traffic series always has a several day turn around for editing time (IE film Monday post Friday) and several Hermits still struggle to get them out on those days. Even if the hermits were going to ignore the Vault Hunters conflict and start filming season ten this week, tomorrow even, they'd just barely have enough time to squeeze those videos out before the Herald Vault videos. As I'm editing this post Impulse just said he's trying to finish his office reorg this week and have a tour out next week. That does not sound like 'filming this week and editing the new season opener' behavior.
If it goes as Iskall indicated on stream, the Vault Hunter hermits will film the Herald Vault and post as soon as possible on February 1st, meaning the earliest they could kick off season ten would be Friday the 2nd. Even if they film on then I can't imagine them dropping new season videos/having them edited any earlier than Monday the 5th. Furthermore:
Clue Five: A lot of Hermits are very protective of their weekends.
Pearl for example almost didn't join the Decked Out visitor day because it was a weekend. It may be that Monday the 5th would be the more likely earliest useable day for filming after Vault Hunters ended. With editing turn around, we'd guess the start date to be Friday at least.
In Conclusion:
My totally bullshit overanalyzed but still blind guess is that the Hermits will film season ten starting February 5th and will drop videos sometime between February 7th and 9th.
That being said, Cub's cypher today that may have just been trolling said season ten would be “sooner than we'd think” so they may surprise me yet.
Keep an eye out for days where no hermits stream or days where Joe does a brief “1 hour chill stream” to see when the Hermits might be suspiciously behind the scenes. I won't be mad if I'm wrong, overthinking is fun. Either way I hope you join me in hypong up the new season and the new Hermits joining the Hermit Fam. I can't wait!
(Note: this post originally reported the herald vault videos as dropping the 2nd which was an estimate from a stream, but Iskalls video today reported they'd drop the first and this post has been edited to reflect that ❤️)

No One Else
Din Djarin x F!Reader
Main Masterlist | Din Djarin Masterlist
Summary: Din’s next bounty takes him to Sorgan. The two of you are running low on food and other supplies so Din heads back to the village he and Grogu visited where he runs into a familiar face.
Word count: 4.1k
Warnings: canon divergent (long live the Razor Crest), reader is able-bodied, takes place when Grogu is with Luke, italics indicate your thoughts, jealousy, angst, cursing, fingering, vaginal sex, unprotected sex, creampie, Din’s probably a little ooc in this but it’s fine, no use of y/n
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This planet is so beautiful, you think to yourself.
Sorgan is a lush, forested swamp planet. It’s green and full of nature. It’s so untouched by civilization, too. Not that you mind, it means more time with Din, no one around to bother you. It’s not like that, though. You two started as a business relationship. You, a mechanic for the Razor Crest and he, a talented bounty hunter. Although, now you could call yourself friends. But it did take a while for you two to get there. He’s a professional after all. But for you that friendship has now turned into a one sided crush.
Not the time to dwell on my pathetic crush for him.
Din is hauling a bounty back to the Crest now. You’re walking ahead of him; his idea.
“That way you’re always in my sight.”
You force yourself to ignore how that made your heart flutter and cheeks heat up.
It took him a bit longer than normal to find this bounty, too. Since this planet is so lush with nature and sparsely populated. Again, not that you mind. But it means that you two are out of food, since the job took longer than expected. It’s not the end of the world. Din could probably hunt something for you guys out here in the abundant wilderness. Or you could just tough it out until you get back to Nevarro. Really, it’s not a big deal.
As you continue your trek you start to see the outline of the Crest amongst the trees.
“There’s the Crest!” you shout over your shoulder.
You arrive at the Crest and Din lowers the exit ramp. He heads inside to carbon-freeze the bounty.
You follow him in, “So I was thinking about the food situation and-”
“No need. I know exactly what to do. There’s a small village not too far from here.”
“Oh, okay. Have you been there before?”
“Yes, I spent a few weeks there right after I got Grogu. We stayed with a nice widow.”
A nice widow? Whatever she sounds like an older lady anyway.
Stop it. Stop thinking like that. He isn’t even yours and besides that was long before he met you. It might’ve not even been that serious. She could’ve just been a friend.
“Does that sound good?” he asks, snapping you out of your thoughts.
“Sure, sounds nice,” you reply, putting on a smile to try to hide your slight jealousy.
“Great. After I take care of him we can head that way.”
You nod and decide to head back outside. You take in the nature around you and breathe, trying to calm yourself.
Why am I even getting jealous? I don’t know this lady. And it’s not like Din is one for physical attachments anyway.
You hear Din come down the ramp behind you.
“Ready?” he asks.
“Yes, sir,” you say back, giving him a playful salute.
“Stay in front of me again this time. I’ll direct you.”
You nod and he points where to start walking. He was right, it wasn't that far of a journey. The walk this time is more silent than normal, though. It’s not like you two were super chatty anyway and the silence between you two is normally comfortable silence. This time it wasn’t. It was a thick, tension filled silence. Maybe it’s because he’s just trying to focus on where he’s going.
Or maybe it’s because he can’t wait to see that woman again…
“What’s her name?” you ask, your thoughts suddenly vocalizing themselves.
He takes a moment to answer.
Not a great sign. Maybe I shouldn’t have asked? But if we’re going to meet her anyway I don’t get why her name would be off limits…
“Omera,” he says plainly.
You don’t really know what to say back so you just continue to let him direct you, trudging through the thick forest. You reach the village soon enough. It’s a cute little farming village, not super crowded. It looks like they farm krill, judging from the ponds surrounding the village. The people here live in circular huts and there are children playing together in the center of the village. It’s hard to believe Din spent a few weeks here, though. It doesn’t really seem like his scene.
As you two enter the village everyone stops and stares, of course. You’re used to that, though. Din turns heads wherever he goes. The children playing stop what they’re doing and run over to you guys.
“It’s the Mandalorian!!!”
“He’s back!!!”
“Does he have the baby with him!?!?”
More people start to look over now that there’s commotion. And now all of a sudden you’re surrounded. A woman with long dark hair emerges from the crowd and heads right over to Din, smiling at him. She’s beautiful, of course.
Oh Maker please don’t be her.
“You’re back,” she says, the smile still not fading from her face.
“I am. My friend and I stopped on your planet for a job. It took us a little longer than expected and we’re out of food,” he explains.
Well, at least he referred to me as a friend and not just his mechanic.
“Of course! You’re always welcome here anytime,” she says, reaching out and resting her hand on the side of his arm.
She still hasn’t acknowledged you.
“This is my friend by the way,” he replies, turning towards you.
The smile finally fades. “Nice to meet you.”
She probably didn’t mean that.
“I’m Omera,” she says curtly.
You tell her your name and thank her for welcoming you into the village. She says nothing and turns to take Din by the arm, leading the way. The crowd around you dissipates. You’re left to follow them, like a lost massiff.
She leads the way back to her hut where all three of you enter.
“I can cook us something. And we can leave you alone here to eat, of course. Oh and I have some spotchka as well.”
You notice that when she speaks she’s only looking at Din.
“Thank you. How is your daughter doing?”
“She’s quite well. I’m sure she’ll be here shortly now that you’re here. And how is the child? I was hoping you would’ve brought him with you.”
“I’ve returned him to his own kind. He’s doing good.”
You listen to them continue to talk as she cooks, feeling like a third wheel. After a short time, the food is ready and she puts it into four bowls. She grabs cups for spotchka, too.
“Well, now that the food’s ready we’ll leave you to it,” she says, handing you your bowl and cup, never really looking you in the eye.
“Thank you again, Omera. We really appreciate it.”
She leads you outside of the hut and you turn back and look at Din before exiting. Around the back side of the hut you two sit down to eat before being joined by her daughter.
“This is my daughter, Winta,” Omera says, still not looking directly at you.
“Nice to meet you!” Winta says, cheerfully.
You smile and tell her your name before returning to eat.
After enough silence you say, “I know he thanked you already, but I wanted to thank you myself, Omera. It’s really delicious.”
She nods, still not looking at you.
“How do you know the Mandalorian?” she asks, glancing at you for the first time.
Ha. She doesn’t know his name.
“We work together. I travel with him as a mechanic for his ship.”
“So you’re more like business partners?”
“I wouldn’t say just business partners. We’re friends, too.”
Her mouth forms into a flat line. She didn’t like that answer.
After what feels like forever, Din joins you outside.
“Did you enjoy your meal, Mando?” she asks looking up at him, the smile creeping back on to her face.
“I did. It was very good. Thank you.”
“Of course. Anything for you,” she replies, rising from the ground with the dishes in her hand. You and Winta stand up, too.
“I’ll clean up and be right back,” Omera says.
She walks around to the front of the hut and goes inside, leaving you, Din and Winta outside. The three of you walk to the front of the hut as well and Winta asks,
“Where’s the baby?”
“He’s with his own kind and he’s in training.”
“Oh… is it like a school?”
“Yeah, something like that. But don’t worry. He’s happy.”
For a man covered in metal and weapons, he’s surprisingly good with children. It warms your heart.
Omera returns from inside the hut and joins the three of you.
“So, how long willl you be here for?” she asks, looking up at him, eyes widening.
“I’m afraid not that long. We have to return back to Nevarro to complete our job.”
“Ah, I see. Well you’re always welcome here any time and however long you need. After what you did for the village, we are forever in your debt.”
“What happened?” you ask, unaware of this part of their history together.
“Mando here saved our village from a group of raiders a while back. He taught us how to defend ourselves. Without him we wouldn’t be living here anymore. And with that, we are forever in his debt.”
“I can’t take all the credit. Cara was a big help, too.”
Oh great another woman to worry about. Whatever, at least that one’s not here right now.
“You’re too humble. But please, won’t you stay at least one night?”
“I suppose one night wouldn’t hurt. We did have a long day.”
Your mouth falls open, in complete disbelief at what he’s saying right now.
Maybe he misses his time here. Maybe he’s thinking he made the wrong decision leaving here in the first place.
“Of course. You must be so tired. Let me take care of you.”
“Thank you. You’re too generous.”
She grabs his arm again and leads him back to her hut, leaving you to follow behind them again. It’s basically painful to watch them at this point.
“Actually…” you start, both of them turning around to face you.
“I think I’m just going to head back to the Crest. I’m not feeling too good,” you lie. Really you just wanted to go feel sorry for yourself in peace.
“Are you sure?” Din says, concern laced in his voice.
“Yeah, I’m sure,” you reply, a little too quickly.
“Well, let me at least walk you back,”
“It’s fine. You don’t have to.”
“I really don’t mind-” he starts.
“She said she’s fine,” Omera cuts in, a smirk plastering her face.
“Yes it’s fine really, you two go on ahead,” you say looking at the ground, tears stinging your eyes.
Before either one of them could say anything else, you turn around and start walking out of the village. You don’t look back at them, continuing to stride through the outskirts of the village and into the forest. You don’t stop once as you power walk back to the Crest, just wanting to be alone already. You lower the exit ramp and drag yourself inside. The tears begin to flow and they don’t stop. You close the ramp and sit down, placing your head in your hands. The sadness and anger swells in your chest.
After letting yourself have your meltdown, you hop in the refresher and take time to calm down in there. When you’re done you have a glass of water. You’re not as hysterical as you were before but your heart still hurts and there’s still a pit in your stomach. You go up to the cockpit and sit, watching the sunset and thinking to yourself.
Maybe he’ll change his mind. Maybe he’ll realize how much he missed her. Maybe he’ll come back here and tell me he’s decided to stay, only leaving to drop me off back on Nevarro and he’ll come back here and live out his days with her. Maybe he’ll reunite with Grogu and they’ll be a happy family. Something he doesn’t see with me because all I am is a business partner, a coworker.
The sun is set now and the sky is filled with beautiful stars. At least there’s one nice thing about this planet since there’s not a lot of light pollution the sky is clear. Although now whenever you think of Sorgan instead of thinking about its beauty you’ll think about Omera and Din and how happy they must be together.
You hear the exit ramp to the Crest being lowered and the familiar sound of Din’s footsteps. You don’t turn to look at him.
“I thought you were spending the night,” you say sullenly.
“I was worried about you,” he says, coming up to the cockpit and sitting down, spinning his chair to face you.
“Don’t be.”
“Are you okay? You seemed off this afternoon.”
You hit him with the classic, “I’m fine.”
“You say you’re fine but I know that’s not true. Come on. Talk to me. What’s on your mind?”
You hesitate for a moment.
“...It’s dumb.”
“I’m sure it’s not. You can tell me anything.”
“This is going to sound so stupid but I was really jealous today in the village.”
“Of what?”
“...You and Omera.”
“Why? You and I aren’t together.”
Tears sting your eyes again. He doesn’t feel the same way.
Let’s just get this over with.
And the word vomit just spills out, “I know. I know we aren’t together. But that’s the thing; I wish we were. And I’m sorry if I made things weird for you now because I know we’re technically business partners so I get it if you want to drop me off back on Nevarro and look for a new mechanic or even stay here with Omera because the chemistry between you two is undeniable. I just couldn’t bear to be a third wheel anymore. It was too much for me to watch.”
You sigh, feeling a little relieved that this is finally off of your chest. But he’s silent and that can’t be a good sign.
“Come with me.”
“What?”
“Just come with me,” he says, grabbing your hand.
He leads you out of the cockpit and out of the crest into the forest. It’s just the two of you underneath the stars. He’s standing beside you, your hand still is his. His helmet is tilted up at the sky. You’re both silent for a moment before he speaks.
“She tried to remove my helmet,” he says, turning to face you now, his hand still holding yours.
“What?”
“When I was staying there for a few weeks. One day when I was telling her that I think Grogu should stay with her and the other children, she looked up at me and asked me to stay with her in the village. She tried to remove my helmet. But then she was stopped when a member of the guild tried to shoot Grogu from the forest. After that I decided it was best for him to be with me and I left.”
You don’t say anything. You’re shocked that he’s telling you this but you don’t know why he is either.
“You see, I don’t think she respected that I have a creed,” he continues.
“Well clearly if she tried to remove your helmet,” you say, a tinge of annoyance in your voice. Why is he telling you all of this?
“I think she saw it as a limitation, something that was keeping her from getting what she wanted… but with you I feel like I can be myself around you, with my creed and all. And you wouldn’t have known that about Omera. Maybe I should’ve told you about it before so you wouldn’t have gotten upset,” he says. There’s a softness in his voice.
“The reason why I’m telling you all of this is to reassure you. I know I haven’t been very expressive with how I feel but… I want you, cyar’ika. And maybe it’s wrong of me to only admit this after how upset you got. But maybe I just needed to hear that you had feelings for me first.”
Well, that was kind of messed up of him but he’s being so sincere right now that you can’t stop your heart from melting.
“But earlier today it looked like you were into her too…”
“I wasn’t trying to come off that way. I was just trying to be polite. Trust me. I want no one else but you, cyar’ika.”
“Is that Mando’a?”
“Yes… it means sweetheart.”
Your heart flutters. The toxic part of your brain almost wishes Omera was here right now to see this; to see how Din only wants you and no one else.
“If you’re still unsure maybe I could show you how I feel about you instead of telling you.”
Oh?? What does that mean?
“Is it okay if I cover your eyes?” he asks.
“Y-yes. Go ahead.”
He takes a step towards you and places a gloved hand over your eyes. You hear a low hissing sound. And the sound of breathing, unmodulated breathing.
His helmet is off. Holy shit. Holy shit. It’s happening.
And then it happens. He kisses you and it’s all you ever hoped it would be. You feel his facial hair against your face. You take in his scent. It’s just all so perfect.
“Can I touch you?”
“Of course, mesh’la.”
“Another Mando’a word?”
“It means beautiful,” he says softly.
It really can’t get any better than this.
Your hands caress each side of his face, trying to map it out. You could stay like this forever. The kiss is getting more and more passionate. You press your tongue against his lips to gain access to his mouth, which he gives you. But then he pulls back for a moment.
Shit. I fucked up.
“Did I do something wrong?” you ask meekly.
He gives you a quick kiss and smiles against your lips.
“No, cyar‘ika. But if we’re going to continue this further, I think I should put the helmet back on.”
“What do you mean?”
He pulls back and puts his helmet back on. You can hear the hiss and his modulated breathing. You open your eyes and look up at his visor. He steps forward again and places his hand at the waistband of your pants, tugging it lightly. The helmet dips toward your left ear and he says,
“Do you get what I mean now?” his voice dipping to a lower register.
Oh. It’s happening.
“Y-yes,” you squeak out.
“Is this okay?”
“Of course. But what if someone sees us?”
“You and I both know that no one’s around here and besides… who cares if someone sees?”
You nod and his hand dips down your pants and he cups your warm sex, rubbing small circles around your clit. You lean into him and close your eyes, already in absolute bliss. His pace picks up, as does your breathing. You’re already at the brink of orgasm when he says, “Are you going to cum like this for me, cyar’ika?”
That practically sends you over the edge. Your legs wobble a little bit and he places a strong arm around your back to keep you up, chuckling a little.
“That’s it, mesh’la. Ride it out for me.”
You finish riding out your orgasm against his hand. You look up at him and smile.
“Lay down on the ramp for me.”
You nod and do as you're told. You lay down against the ramp, the cool metal pressing against your back. Din grabs the waistband of your pants and slides them now. His fingers reach your core again and he slides two of them in. His fingers pumping in and out and then making a “come here” motion. Your breathing picks up even more than it did before and you close your eyes.
“Look at me,” he says.
You open your eyes to see the T shaped visor burning into you. You wonder what his expression is under there. His pace picks up and you feel yourself getting wetter, closer to completion. He senses this and presses even more against your G spot. You soak his glove completely. As you cum, you look at him, straight into the visor, falling in love even more as you do.
“Good girl,” he says, with that darker register again. “Are you ready for more?”
“Yes I am,” you reply, blissed out once again.
He pulls his hard cock out of his pants and it’s huge because of course it is. He lubricates himself with your wetness from his glove. You spread your legs open and he aligns himself with your entrance. It takes you a second to get used to how big he is. He’s basically splitting you apart, but in a good way.
“Let me know when you’re ready for me to move, cyar’ika.”
You nod and keep breathing, getting more adjusted to him.
“I’m ready,” you say.
He starts thrusting in and out of you. And it’s better than you ever could’ve possibly imagined. You close your eyes again out of reflexes and he says,
“Please, mesh’la, look at me. I want to look you in the eyes as you cum on my cock.”
“Y-yes, Din. ” you moan.
One of his hands comes up to caress your face. You look up at him and take it all in. His helmet looking down at you and the beautiful, star filled sky above the two of you. It’s all so perfect and something you’ll never ever forget.
He places your legs on his shoulders, the beskar touching the back of your legs. For some reason that sensation only adds to your arousal. And so does the new angle from this position. His thrusts are picking up now and his cock is hitting the perfect spot inside of you. You feel yourself getting closer and closer to the edge. You reach out your hand and caress the side of his helmet, where his cheek would be and breath out,
“I’m so close, Din.”
“Give it to me, mesh’la.”
And with that you’re orgasming. All of your muscles contract, sending tingly sensations all over your body. You feel yourself fluttering around Din’s cock and your vision goes blurry for a moment. This sent Din to the edge too because he asks,
“Where do you want me to finish, cyar’ika?”
Blissed out and coming down from immense pleasure, you reply, “Inside me, I don’t care.”
And he does. His warm spend paints your insides. You can’t believe that this is happening to you right now. Din Djarin is fucking you on the forest planet Sorgan underneath a blanket of stars and he’s filling you up with his cum.
He stays inside you for a moment and you ask,
“Is something wrong?”
“I just wanted to take a good look at you like this, underneath me and full of my cum.”
After another moment he slowly pulls out of you and collapses next to you on the ramp. You look over at him and he sighs,
“Do you believe me now, cyar’ika? That I want you and no one else?” he says, reaching out and brushing your hair behind your ear.
You smile and say, “How could I not after that?”
You lay your head on his chest and he wraps his arm around you, his hand coming up to stroke your hair, as you two admire the stars above. It can’t get any better than this.

“Okay, Hiccup, you called all of us here so what is it?” Astrid asked, arms crossed.
It was early in the morning. Fog covered the grounds of Dragons Edge and the air was especially chilly.
“I got a terror-mail from Johann-“ Hiccup was cut off by Snotlout
“Oh, come on! You dragged us out of bed because Johann sent you a letter!” Snotlout cried, Hookfang made a noise of agreement.
“No bueno, amigo.” Tuffnut shook his head while stroking chickens feathers.
“Hiccup,” Astrid sighed, “Please tell me whatever Johann said in that letter is worth telling this early in the morning.”
“It is, I promise.” Hiccup said
Everyone groaned in union. You had all been hoping to be sent back to bed.
You leaned against your dragon, enjoying the body heat they brought, as you waited for Hiccup to carry on.
“Go on then, Hiccup.” You said
“He said he had been visiting Glacier Island recently-“ Hiccup began
“No! We are not going back to that bag of ice, no way!” Snotlout roared
Hiccup ignored him, “As I was saying, he said it had been unusually quiet, so,” Hiccup raised his voice so he could be heard over the shouts of protest, “We will be going to check it out.”
“This is what you woke us up to tell us.” Ruffnut complained
“It takes some time to get there so we might as well start early.” Hiccup reasoned
“Hiccup, are you sure this is a good idea? Every time we’ve been there we’ve nearly escaped death.” Fishlegs spoke up
“Those dragons aren’t exactly friendly.” You put in
Hiccup sighed, “I know, I know. But we have to make sure.”
“Do you think the dragon hunters have something to do with this?” Astrid asked
“What would the dragon hunters want with the Snow Wraiths? They don’t have the Dragon Eye anymore, we do.” Fishlegs said
Hiccup shook his head, “I have no idea. But I’m definitely curious.”
Fishlegs nodded in agreement.
“Everyone needs to change into their warmest clothes, we all know how cold it is there, especially at this time of year.” Hiccup said
Everyone nodded and made their way to the clubhouse door.
As Snotlout was about to open the door, it opened for him.
“Surprise!” Dagur shouted, arms open wide as if expecting a hug.
Snotlout shrieked in fear and hid behind Fishlegs.
Heather appeared behind Dagur, a pleasant smile on her face.
“Dagur, Heather, what-what are you guys doing here?” Hiccup asked
“We’re here to celebrate Snoggletog with you guys, of course!” Dagur said
“I thought you guys knew we were coming?” Heather asked
“Nope, we didn’t.” Astrid said pointing to Snotlout
Heather turned towards Dagur, “You didn’t send them a terror-mail?”
Dagur looked shocked, “Me? I thought you were doing it.”
Heather shook her head, “No. We agreed you would do it.”
“No. We agreed you would do it.” Dagur argued
“It doesn’t really matter.” Hiccup interjected, “It’s a pleasant surprise, really.”
“Are you sure?” Heather looked worried, “We don’t want to be a bother.”
Hiccup shook his head, “You aren’t. It’s just…”
“..Just what?” Heather asked
“We got a message from Johann and we were gonna check it out.” Astrid said
“Johann? Is that the skinny guy with the long beard?” Dagur asked, genuinely curious
“That would be the one.” Astrid confirmed
“I think I stole his ship a couple of times.” Dagur muttered to no one in particular.
“What did he say? Maybe we could help.” Heather motioned to her and Dagur.
“Do you remember Glacier Island?” Hiccup asked
Heather and Dagur nodded.
“Johann said that the island had been unusually quiet. We think that the dragon hunters have done something to the pack of Snow Wraiths.” Hiccup explained
“And we’re going to check it out because Johann has never been wrong, and definitely hasn’t sent us on missions full of dead ends.” Snotlout spat
“A possible deadly mission full of wild, untamable dragons…I’m in!” Dagur said excitedly
Heather smiled at her brother's enthusiasm, “We’d be happy to help. If you’ll let us.”
“Of course you guys can come, Heather. You and Windshear would be a lot of help.” Astrid said
“And, yes…you can totally ride with me because I know you’re dying to ask.” Snotlout said
Astrid glared at him.
“It would be nice to have a couple extra riders.” Hiccup considered
You sent him an encouraging smile, urging him to accept their offer.
“Of course we’ll help, brother!” Dagur clapped his hand on Hiccup's back making Hiccup stumble, “With you dragon riders, and us Berserkers, nothing can stop us.”
“I guess it’s decided then.” Fishlegs said
“Alright, everyone, gear up. It’s gonna be a long flight.” Hiccup announced
—————————————
You added a couple extra layers than you normally would, and just to be safe added some blankets and extra jacket in your satchel just in case you had to stay longer than you would hope you’d have to spend on an island made of ice.
As you and your dragon landed by the clubhouse, Hiccup walked over to you.
He held out his hand to help you down. You accepted it with a smile.
“You have everything?” He asked
“Yep, do you?” You asked
He nodded. He paused for a moment and then sighed.
“What is it, Hiccup?” You asked worriedly
“This. All of this. What could Viggo possibly want with the Snow Wraiths? He knows how dangerous they are and he doesn’t have the dragon eye so..” Hiccup took a moment to think
You sighed, “If anyone can figure out Viggos motives, it’s you. But, that doesn’t mean you should spend all your time worrying about it. We don’t even know if Johann was right, and the Snow Wraiths are gone! One thing at a time Hiccup, or you’ll drive yourself crazy.” You cupped his cheek affectionately.
He smiled gratefully and pulled your hand from his cheek and kissed the back of it.
“Ugh! Are you two done yet?” Snotlout shouted, obviously revolted by the display of affection.
You glared at him, “Yes, Snotlout, we are.”
“Amazing! Let’s get this show in the sky!” Dagur shouted excitedly
“Remember guys, one Snow Wraith is dangerous enough. But a whole pack of them-“ Hiccup began
“Is extremely deadly. Blah, blah, we get it!” Snotlout interrupted
Hiccup nodded, “So steer on the side of caution.” Hiccup warned while mounting Toothless.
“Of course, our dear Hiccup. We will steer on the side of most caution.” Ruffnut grinned mischievously
“We hear you loud and clear, H.” Tuffnut sent two thumbs up with a similar grin as his sister.
Hiccup sighed, knowing they weren’t going to listen to him.
“We’ve got a lot of ocean to fly over, so let’s go!” Hiccup shouted as Toothless jumped into the air with the rest of us following close behind.
——————————
How you were still freezing under three layers of clothes, you didn’t know.
Normally you would’ve tried to get your jacket from your satchel that was attached to your dragon's saddle, and risked falling off. But, the thought of falling into the water in this weather, was worse than the chilling wind that made your eyes tear up.
“There it is.” Hiccup shouted for the first time in hours.
You shivered at the thought of stepping onto the island of ice. But followed the others nonetheless.
“Finally.” You heard Astrid mutter in exhaustion.
During any other time of the year the flight would’ve been fine, even enjoyable. But of course Glacier Island would be a problem during the coldest time of the year.
When you hopped off your dragons back you took the moment to observe your surroundings. It was peaceful, just like it always was when you first got here. No sign of any disturbances, so that was good.
“We should spread out, we’ll cover more ground that way. Regroup back here in an hour.” Hiccup commanded
Fortunately, but unfortunately it didn’t take long to find something.
You gasped when you saw the nets, you hadn’t truly believed Johann.
You tried to convince yourself that they were from the last time you had fought the dragon hunters at the island.
Your hopes were gone when you heard Fishlegs and Heather shout for Hiccup at the same time.
You all grouped up around Fishlegs who was holding a dragon root arrow. Snotlout was a bit behind him holding his foot in pain.
“What did you find?” Hiccup asked
“It’s a dragon root arrow alright. I found it right around this area.” Fishlegs answered
“You found it? I’m the one who stepped on it! Why does this always happen to me?” Snotlout cried
“I found these.” You held up the nets
Hiccup looked at the nets in your hand in distress.
“How do we know those aren’t from the last time we were here?” Ruff asked
“Because the wood I found was recently burnt.” Heather spoke up
Hiccup sighed, obviously much more worried than before.
Dramatically, a snow storm began to brew.
“Fishlegs?” Hiccup looked towards said Viking
“These dragon root arrows are fresh.” Fishlegs answered Hiccup's silent question.
“How fresh?” Astrid asked
“A couple days, maybe. No more than a week.” Fishlegs said nervously
Hiccup cursed.
Snotlout gasped and covered his ears.
“Hey, boss, the Snow Wraiths normally come out during the storms right?” Tuff asked
Hiccup nodded.
“So, if the Snow Wraiths are still here, they would come looking for us, right?” Tuff went on
“Yes, because they can make out the heat of our bodies, while we can’t see them.” You answered, shuffling closer to Hiccup.
Hiccup wrapped his arms around you subconsciously, still in thought.
“Can we make a plan before we all turn into ice.” Ruffnut complained, latching onto Fishlegs for some body heat.
Tuff nodded, his teeth chattering as he did the same.
Hiccup nodded and looked up, “We’ll set up camp and make a fire. The more heat, the bigger the target.”
“We want them to attack us? Give me one good reason we shouldn’t just feed you to the nest right now!” Snotlout shouted angrily
“I like your idea, brother. I’ve been itching for some action.” Dagur said, pulling out an ax, and chuckled evilly.
“Uh, no, we’re not going to fight them, we’re just gonna draw them out so that we know they’re still here.” Hiccup said
“Great plan, genius. So what happens if they are here? Do you plan on making us dinner.” Snotlout protested
“We’ll fly away, and head back to the edge.” Hiccup said
“Uh, Hiccup, are we sure that’s the best idea?” Astrid asked doubtfully
“No. But it’s simple and easy. We don’t need to be here any longer than we need to be.” Hiccup said, rubbing the side of your arms as a hint to the cold being the problem.
Everyone nodded and got to work.
“Sorry, baby. Daddy Dagur will use you soon enough.” Dagur stroked his ax affectionately
————————
With the tents set up, and the group huddled around the small fire they made, we waited.
You were close to Hiccup's side, both of you sharing the blanket you had brought. You and Hiccup were leaned against Toothless, while both Toothless and your dragon used their wings to cover you from the harsh wind.
“They should be here any time now.” Hiccup reassured you
You nodded, hoping to believe him.
So, you waited.
———————
The blizzard only got worse and the Snow Wraiths were still not showing.
“Hiccup, we can barely see a thing!” Astrid shouted
“We have to make sure they’re still here!” Hiccup said desperately
“If we want to do that, we have to go to the nest. We’re wasting our breath sitting out here.” Heather said
Hiccup didn’t look pleased but he nodded.
When he remembered no one could see him but you he shouted, “Saddle up, we’re going to the nest!”
———————
Inside, you didn’t have to suffer from the harsh wind. Which was a big bonus.
You don’t know why you didn’t try to convince Hiccup to do this sooner.
The only downside was that Snotlout led you out of the caves (why did you guys follow him? Probably to make sure he wasn’t the one who found the Snow Wraiths first. He’d find a way to make them mad, if they weren’t already mad at seeing a stranger in their territory.).
When Toothless used his sound waves to locate the nest, things went a lot smoother.
You held your breath as you entered.
“Everyone, spread out, and look.” Hiccup ordered
You and the dragon covered one area of the nest but you didn’t see a Snow Wraith.
When you turned to report this to Hiccup, you noticed the look on his face and you knew you wouldn’t have to say a word. Because he already knew.
Hiccup shouted in outrage.
“What should we do, Hiccup?” Fishlegs asked in an anxious voice.
“We go back to the edge, I’ll send a letter to Johann, and-“ Hiccup was cut off by a gurgling noise.
It was coming from a small crack in the ice.
Hiccup flew down to check it out.
After he examined it for a few moments he said, “Fishlegs, come look at this.”
Fishlegs looked at the area Hiccup had pointed to and gasped.
“What? What is it?” Snotlout asked
Fishlegs turned to Hiccup, “Is that…”
Hiccup nodded, “I think it is.”
“Ooh, is this a guessing game! Okay, I’ll go first, meatloaf, lamb, hamster!” Tuffnut shouted
When everyone looked at him strangely he said, “What? I’m hungry.”
“Hamster?” Heather asked
“Hey! If you have a problem with my dietary choices, you can keep it to yourself.” Tuff accused
Heather looked at Astrid in confusion, in the return the blonde only shrugged.
“Hiccup.” He looked up at you, “What it is.”
“I think…” he paused looking back at the crack in the ice, “it’s a baby Snow Wraith.”
Someone gasped.
“Are you sure?” You asked
“Pretty sure.” Hiccup answered
Snotlout groaned in annoyance, “So if she asks a question, you answer? Your favoritism is showing, Hiccup. And I don’t like it.” Snotlout narrowed his eyes.
Hiccup just rolled his eyes.
“How did it even get there?” Snotlout asked
“Your mom never had that talk with you?” You asked teasingly
You laughed under your breath while Snotlout muttered for you to shut up.
“Hiccup, do you know what this means?” Fishlegs said in a concerned voice
“What? What does it mean?” Snotlout asked
Hiccup nodded.
“It means that this baby has been left vulnerable. He’s too young to provide for himself, and much less protect himself.” Fishlegs said
“Well, we can’t just leave the baby Snow Wraith here, then.” Heather said
“Yeah, no baby dragons left behind.” Dagur said
“We aren’t going to leave it.” Hiccup reassured
“But, Hiccup, we’ve never seen a Snow Wraith outside of Glacier Island. How do we know we’ll be able to inhabit him anywhere else? The edge isn’t nearly as cold as it is here.” Fishlegs said
“Maybe, one of us will stay with him, while the others go get the other Snow Wraiths back.” Hiccup suggested
“It’s far too cold for any one of us to stay here for that long. Even with our dragons.” You said
“She’s right, Hiccup. Staying here isn’t an option either.” Fishlegs agreed
“Well, what do we know about the Snow Wraiths?” Hiccup asked
Fishlegs pulled out his dragon cards, “We know that they can blend in with the snow..they can only make out our body heat..and that they typically live in cold places.”
“What about the snow capped mountains back on the edge, those are pretty cold.” Ruffnut said absentmindedly
Fishlegs gasped, “Yes, that could work. Good idea, Ruff!”
Ruffnut looked shocked at being praised, “Oh..really?”
Fishlegs nodded.
“Well..you're welcome.” She said
“Good idea, gang.” Hiccup spoke, “Now how do you get this little guy outta here?”
—————————
We bribed him with a chicken leg of course.
Tuff had to leave the room before we pulled it out so he wouldn’t get upset.
Apparently, Dagur carries around cooked chicken legs.
He claimed that he was always getting hungry on long flights.
Now the dragon was nestled comfortably in Fishlegs arms. Sleeping peacefully as we made our journey back to the edge.
When Dragons Edge was finally insight, Hiccup called out directions, “Fishlegs, Heather, you take the baby Snow Wraith up to the mountains and make sure that it can safely inhabit the mountains. The rest of you, to the clubhouse. I need to get something from my hut but I’ll meet you there.” And with the final word he set towards his hut.
“You heard the man.” Dagur shouted
What you weren’t expecting when you landed was a certain trader standing there, looking quite nervous.
“Trader Johann?” You said in surprise
“Ah! Good, you’re here. I have the most important news that must be shared with master Hiccup straight away.” Johann said
“He’ll be here in just a moment.” You said
But Johann just shook his head, “We don’t have a moment. I must tell master Hiccup this information now. Before…it is too late.”
You and Astrid shared a worried glance.
“What information?” Astrid asked stepping forward
Johann looked even more nervous to be addressed from Astrid.
“Johann, what information?” Astrid continued
“I was hoping to wait for master Hiccup..” Johann began
You sighed, “No need, because there he is.” You pointed towards the sky
Hiccup climbed off Toothless’ back with something in his hand. When he looked up, he was surprised to see everyone looking at him in worry.
“What? What is it?” He asked
You nodded your head towards the unexpected guest.
“Johann?” Hiccup said in surprise
“Yes, master Hiccup, I have urgent news for you.” Johann said
“We got your terror mail-“ Hiccup began moving to your side to get a clear look at Johann.
“It is not about that. Or rather it is, but it is updated information.” Johann said
“And what would that be?” Hiccup questioned
Johann chuckled a little, “Well you see..”
“To the point, Johann. If this information is as important as you say it is, then we can’t waste any time.” You cut in
Johann sighed a little, “You’re right, miss. I was chatting with a few of my merchant friends when I caught wind of some dragon hunters heading out east. I heard them mention big, untamable, dragons who could see body heat. I was certain they were talking about the Snow Wraiths.”
“How far east, Johann?” Hiccup asked, sounding urgent
Johann perked up a bit, “I’ve brought you a map.” He pulled it from his bag and handed it to Hiccup.
Hiccup opened it and quickly glanced over the information, then nodded.
“Thank you for all your help, Johann.” Hiccup said
“Of course, master Hiccup. As always, it is a pleasure to serve you.” Johann bowed dramatically
Hiccup turned towards the rest of us, “Okay, gang, Snotlout, find Fishlegs and Heather and pass on Johann's message. Tell them to stay here and look after the baby Snow Wraith until we get back.” Snotlout nodded. He and Hookfang flew off towards the mountains.
“I'm sorry to interrupt, master Hiccup, but did I hear you correctly? Baby Snow Wraith?” Johann asked
Hiccup nodded
Johann gasped, “Oh, dear. If the mother has been taken from her baby she will be in much hurry to get back. You must proceed with caution, master Hiccup.”
Hiccup nodded, “Thank you, Johann. As for the rest of you, change your winter gear for protective gear. You heard Johann, the Snow Wraiths won’t be able to tell the difference from us and the hunters. Once Snotlout gets back, we take off.”
Everyone nodded.
————————————
“So how far away is this place, Hiccup?” Astrid asked
“Not far.” Hiccup replied
“You don’t sound too happy about that, brother.” Dagur commented
“I'm not. What are the dragon hunters doing so close to our island.” Hiccup responded
“We’ll figure it out and then we’ll deal with it. We always do.” You said
Hiccup sent you a small smile, and you returned it with one of your own.
——————
“That’s the island.” Hiccup pointed downward
You all peered down.
“Uh, is it just me, or does that island look pretty abandoned?” Tuff asked
“It’s not just you, Tuff. They must be hidden somewhere on the island.” Hiccup said
A huge explosion caught all your attention.
“There!” Hiccup shouted, “Ruff, Tuff, Dagur, you pressure them in from the right.” The twins and Dagur nodded
Hiccup called your name and Snotlout's next, “You two will take the left.” Hiccup looked towards Astrid, “We’ll come up from behind.”
We did just as Hiccup told us to, but where we were expecting a battle or flying arrows, there was a mess instead. Bins and barrels were knocked over, some had been filled with food, others with weapons, but not a hunter in sight.
“I'm confused, I thought we were supposed to be dodging the flying arrows, not following them to find the hunters who want to hunt us and our dragons.” Snotlout said
“If we find the hunters, we find the Snow Wraiths.” You replied
“Right, the dragons who also want to kill us. Great.” Snotlout muttered
A roar could be heard in the distance.
You and Snotlout made eye contact, a knowing, displeased look was on his face, “We’re going to go near the angry dragon instead of away from it, aren’t we.” Snotlout said
You grinned a little, “Yep.”
“Of course we are.” Snotlout muttered
When the two of you got there you found the rest of your group was already at the scene.
One of the Snow Wraiths was fighting a couple hunters on the ground.
The gang tried to help but the Snow Wraith thought that you were a threat so they started to fire at you.
The hunters were too busy dodging the Snow Wraiths attacks to care about the rest of you.
You saw a hunter run for the woods, and Hiccup and Toothless following. You followed, not knowing where the rest of the hunters were and not wanting Hiccup to run into them.
Hiccup stopped in front of him, blocking his path. You stopped behind him, blocking his escape route. When he turned to the right, Toothless blasted down the tree. When he turned to the left your dragon knocked over a couple of trees.
“Where are the rest of the Snow Wraiths?” Hiccup demanded
The hunter whimpered in fear.
Your dragon growled, “Answer him.” You said
“I-I-I don’t know. O-one minute we were working, just like normal. Then that Snow Wraith cornered us.” The hunter spilled
“Where are the rest of you?” Hiccup demanded, Toothless opened his mouth ready to fire a warning shot.
The hunter screeched, “Un-under the island. There’s an entrance a few feet underwater. The rest of us were working up here.”
Toothless relaxed and Hiccup smiled.
“Thank you for the help!” You yelled as you dropped the hunter on top of a tree.
When you made it back to the others the Snow Wraith was gone.
“What happened?” Hiccup asked
“It just flew away.” Fishlegs answered
“We tried to stop it, but..” Astrid added
“It would’ve torn all of us to shreds!” Snotlout roared
“Believe me, it was compelling.” Dagur added
“Tell me about it.” Ruff muttered
Hiccup just rubbed his hand over his face.
“What did you guys find?” Astrid asked
“The location of the other hunters.” You answered
“Where?” Fishlegs asked
“Under the island.” Hiccup said
The other six raised their eyebrows.
“Under the island?” Fishlegs sounded confused
You nodded
“How far under the island?” Tuff asked
“Only a few feet.” You said
“It shouldn’t be too difficult, but proceed with caution.” Hiccup warned
———
You hovered over the water uncertainty. On one hand, you were ready for this to be over. On the other, you weren’t exactly looking to go swimming this trip.
“Alright, gang, I’ll go in first. Wait a few minutes before following me in, just in case it’s a trap.” Hiccup said
“Why does he get to do all the fun stuff?” You heard Tuff mutter
You watched anxiously as Hiccup and Toothless dove for the water.
And you waited…
When nothing happened, Astrid spoke up, “I think that means it’s clear.”
“Remember to be cautious.” You said before all of you dove
You held your breath as you plunged into the water. Given the speed your dragon was going it felt like a slap to the face. You tried to ignore the sting as you resurfaced under the island.
It was cave-like. A few torches lit here and there providing a little bit of light.
Hiccup stood (dripping wet) waiting expectantly with a torch in his hand.
Once all of you had made it in, Toothless led you all through the dark underground, using his special ability to locate the rest of the hunters.
The ground shook under your feet when you heard a bang.
Toothless let out a growl, positioning himself to be ready for whatever was coming. The rest of the dragons followed.
Before you knew it Hiccup was yelling “Duck!” and pushing you to the ground.
You gasped as you watched 1…2…3…5? Snow Wraiths fly past you in quite the hurry.
Hiccup's arm was on your back trying to push you back towards the ground. Toothless and your dragon were covering the both of you but with the speed the dragons were going at, no one knew if staying on the ground would keep you safe.
After a few moments of silence, Hiccup pulled you up.
“Well that was great.” Snotlout grumbled
“I’ve never seen a dragon of that size move so fast.” Astrid commented
“Me either.” Hiccup stated
“They had to be running from something big.” Ruffnut said, excitedly
“It had to be a-a…a dragon as big as this island.” Tuff said
“If it was as big as the island, it wouldn’t be able to fit in here.” Astrid said, annoyed
“Habitat change, perhaps?” You added
“Those both could be- uh, possible.” Hiccup said
“Well, what are we waiting for, let’s go take a look shall we?” Dagur said
Said person tried to fly off, but Hiccup stepped in his path and stopped him.
“What are you talking about? Clearly the problem has worked itself out. So let’s go home before we get ourselves killed!” Snotlout said
“Because we don’t know if the problem has solved itself, Snotlout. There could still be more Snow Wraiths. And we don’t if the Snow Wraiths were running from something. So we have to plan this accordingly before we jump into the volcano.” Hiccup said
“There’s a volcano?” Tuff asked, looking around
“Yeah, it’s over there.” Ruff pointed the other way
When Tuff looked, Ruff hit him hard on the back of the head.
“Hiccup, we don’t have time to come up with a super brilliant plan. The baby Snow Wraith needs its mother. Heather and Fishlegs can only look after it for so long.” Astrid said
Hiccup nodded, “Yes, yes. That’s a good point, but-“
“She’s right, Hiccup. We need to act now, we can’t plan for all the possibilities. Who knows what being here has done for the Snow Wraiths. So, if there are more..” you cut in
Hiccup sighed, “You’re right. On your dragons and approach with caution.”
It was so dark, that without our dragons we would have run into the hard walls.
Then, something grabbed you off of your dragons back.
You screamed in surprise, feeling claws dig into your forearms.
You could faintly hear Hiccup scream your name in panic over the sound of your dragon's worried calls.
You were flying face, you weren’t sure where you were going as it was pitch black.
That was until you were plunged into cold water.
Water went up your nose unfortunately. And your eyes burned at the sudden salt water.
You quickly tried to swim up to the surface. Also, unfortunately for you, there were small tides pushing this way or that. You weren’t sure if you were supposed to fight the tides or allow them to take you. You hadn’t remembered these from before. Maybe because you were focusing on holding your breath.
You felt something grab the back of your clothes and pull you up. You coughed urgently, desperate to get some air.
A tongue was trying to be helpful by licking the water from your face. By the worried grunts you knew it was your dragon.
“I’m alright.” You gasped out a little
You felt a human body come in contact with yours, gently cradling you while asking too many questions for your mind to comprehend.
“I’m okay.” You assured Hiccup
“What was that?” You asked when you finally sat up on your own
“That's something we would all like to know.” Snotlout said unhelpfully
“We couldn’t see anything. By the time we made it back here it was gone. Just..vanished.” Astrid answered
“What do we do then?” You asked
Hiccup was deep in thought, “We draw it back to us.”
“What?” Multiple voices said
“Some of us will wait here while the others go out to be bait. When the dragon brings one of us back, we corner it.” Hiccup explained
You sighed, “I’ll do it.”
Hiccup sent you a harsh look, “No. Someone else will.”
“Hiccup, it already happened to me once-“
“I said, no. That’s final.” Hiccup said, looking very authoritative.
“I’ll do it.” Astrid volunteered
Hiccup nodded, “Good idea. Astrid and I will fly back. The rest of you, wait here. Remember, we don’t want to hurt it.” He said mounting Toothless's back once more
“Hiccup-“ you tried once more
“Stay. Please.” His eyes were pleading
Reluctantly you stepped back.
—————————
Hiccup's plan was successful as usual.
The dragon who had thrown you into the water was an unknown species.
Hiccup had already calmed it down, thankfully. Or so you thought until the dragon threw Hiccup on his back and flew off.
“Hiccup!” You shouted in horror, quickly mounting your dragon and flying up.
You paused when you heard Toothless’ worried growl from the ground.
Sighing a bit, you landed and mounted Toothless, while your dragon flew after you.
You had ridden on Toothless before, but Hiccup was always on the reins. This was new, Toothless and you were both worried for said boy's safety, in a place where the dragon who had taken him could easily dodge past all of you, so you had to search for him in the complete darkness.
None of these thoughts seem to occur to Toothless as he flew at record breaking speed through the darkness.
Minutes felt like hours as you were desperate to come in contact with them.
Toothless only seemed to move faster when Hiccup's voice could be heard.
Settling down in a poorly lit portion of the cave you jumped off Toothless and ran for Hiccup.
“Are you alright? What happened?” You asked worriedly while checking for any cuts and bruises.
“I’m alright.” He assured you and Toothless.
“What was that?” Astrid asked jumping off a Stormfly's back
“It was a very bad plan. As usual.” Snotlout commented
“It was amazing. One minute you were there and then..you weren’t! Like magic!” Tuff said in a tone as if he were telling a poorly written story.
“This dragon wanted me to see this.” Hiccup lit a torch and used its flames to brighten the cave wall.
Markings and pictures were shown.
“What does it mean?” You asked
“It’s why Viggo came here. He took the Snow Wraiths because they can see body heat, meaning that this dragon couldn’t get past them, like it could us. And with the Snow Wraiths unparalleled abilities and the uneven numbers taking this guy down would’ve been pretty easy.” Hiccup placed his hand on the dragon sympathetically, “But, Viggo underestimated the Snow Wraiths abilities, and they were able to fly away before they could ever get near here.”
“But what is it?” Snotlout asked impatiently
“I think it’s…I think it’s a new species of dragons.” Hiccup said
You all were taken aback.
“Are you sure?” Astrid asked uncertainty
Hiccup nodded, “I am.”
“So, what do we do now?” Tuff asked
“We can’t leave this kind of information for people like Viggo to find. I’ve already copied a bit of the drawings in my book, but the rest of it…” Hiccup looked toward the dragon, a silent request.
The dragon fired on the wall, completely destroying what had been there.
“Fishlegs is going to be so upset he missed this.” Snotlout commented
“Heather, too.” Dagur added
“So, what about this guy?” Astrid asked pointing the new dragon
Hiccup turned to look at everyone, “I say, we take him back to the edge. He no longer needs to protect this information, and he’ll be better protected there. But if anyone has a problem with that…” Hiccup waited for an objection that never came.
“I call riding him!” Snotlout shouted
Hookfang growled and flamed his body.
Snotlout recoiled, he chuckled nervously, “I’m just kidding, Hooky.”
Hiccup seemed satisfied, “Well then-“ he was cut off by a distant growl
You all knew the look on his face, you were going to check it out.
With Toothless and Hiccup in the lead we flew back where we came from. Following the sounds of the unknown dragon.
When we got there our new companion dragon was already at the scene. Surprising us, but no one commented.
Next to it was a Snow Wraith fighting desperately to get out of a dragon proof cage.
“All of them didn’t get out on their own.” Astrid said, sadly
“It’s hurt.” You commented seeing the nasty scratches on its side.
It stopped making noise as soon as Hiccup held his hand up in the air.
“Hiccup..” you began
“She’s the baby Snow Wraith's mother.” Hiccup finished your thought
“She must have been fighting so hard to get free that she hurt herself.” You added
“Yeah.” Hiccup said sadly, noticing the scratches
“It’s okay, we’re on your side, and we’re going to get you out of here.” Hiccup said, approaching cautiously
When he deemed the dragon to be calm enough, Hiccup nodded towards Toothless.
Toothless opened his mouth ready to blast the lock but our new dragon companion beat him to it.
He blasted it straight through the cage.
Once again, you were all shocked speechless.
Toothless grumbled unappreciative at his thunder being stolen.
“Let’s see…it’s the key to the dragon proof cages and information on a species of dragons..and it flies really fast…I’ve got it! Keyflyer!” Tuff shouted
Ruff scoffed at her twin, “Keyflyer, really?”
“Do you have a better suggestion?” Tuff fired back
“No. But I will!” Ruff said, determinedly
“Hiccup, this is incredible.” You said
Hiccup grinned widely at you, “I know.” You could see the wheels in his head turning.
“But let’s not get too ahead of ourselves.” You reminded
“What? Oh, you’re right.” He turned towards all of you, “Let’s head home.”
———————
Hiccup's bed was far warmer than yours. But, maybe that was because there were two people in it instead of one.
You enjoyed using the excuse that Hiccup's bed was much warmer than yours so that you could spend the night at his without too many remarks from the others.
Hiccup didn’t mind at all, it was much more comfortable to cuddle with another human than a dragon that weighs 5x more than you do.
Your arms were curled around each other, barely any space between you two. If someone were to come on it would look as if there were only one body in the bed instead of two.
Most mornings you wake up and Hiccup had left with Toothless for a morning flight. He comes back eventually, crawling back into bed, so that the two of you could talk softly about whatever was on your mind that morning. Or, you might join him for a morning flight.
Your favorite mornings you woke up with him right next to you, no rush for a morning flight, just taking your time. Until, you are inevitably interrupted by someone. These mornings could be counted on one hand, but they were the best.
To your luck, today was one of those mornings. Snoggletog was still a bit away, but you and the gang did a few things to celebrate together before heading back to Berk. This year, Dagur and Heather joined in those festivities.
Hiccup was absentmindedly stroking the hair from your face, making you melt in a feeling of bliss. His eyes were unfocused, meaning he was thinking, his eyes were trained on the floor on the other side of the bed.
“Hi.” You said, voice quiet but it still came out louder than you meant it to.
He smiled down at you, “Good morning.” He softly kissed the crown of your head.
You hummed in approval.
“How long have you been up?” You asked, stilling his hand by your hair and intertwining your fingers.
Hiccup shrugged, “Not long. I didn’t expect you to wake up so soon.”
You smiled teasingly, “Oh, planning to do a bunch of Hiccup things before I woke up and started to annoy you.”
He huffed out a small laugh, “Yes, that’s it.”
Then, a loud bang came from downstairs as Toothless dashed up the stairs in surprise and jumped on you and Hiccup.
“Get up, brother! Breakfast is warm and tasty!” Dagurs voice shouted from below
Toothless lifted one of his wings to reveal a grinning Dagur.
Dagurs grin changed to a look of surprise at the sight of you.
“Oh, am I interrupting something?” He asked
“Are both lovebirds in there? Shocker.” You could Snotlout laugh outside of the hut.
“Yeah, those two are attached at the hip all the time.” Tuff said
“Imagine being with someone all the time, I could never do that.” Ruff added
“Same here, sister.” Tuff agreed
Hiccup groaned in annoyance, “Yes! You are interrupting something. Leave, all of you!”
“Someone’s grumpy.” You heard Snotlout mutter before the door slammed shut.
He turned to look at you, a look of regret on his face. You knew he felt bad for this morning being interrupted.
You smiled, “Breakfast?”
He smiled in return, knowing you weren’t. He leaned down for a sweet kiss.
———————
“…and there they were. Great great Uncle Hopnutt with his one leg and a bucket, staring straight into the eyes of the big bass, the size of a Toothless!” Tuff told his story in a dramatic manner that all of you were used to.
Toothless’ head shot up at the sound of his name.
“The size of Toothless? Please.” Astrid laughed, clearly not believing Tuffnutts story.
“Don’t barf on the yak until you taste it, A. Double G Uncle Hopnutt swore on his other leg!” Tuff pointed to one of his legs.
“And that’s a big deal! Because..Y’know..he only has one leg.” Ruff added
“Oooh, what happened next? What happened next!” Dagur demanded like a child about to receive a new toy.
It was later, you had just eaten dinner and now we're sharing stories.
Toothless opened the clubhouse door walking over to you and Hiccup.
Hiccup sat watching the twins with his arm around your shoulder, you were snuggled into his side.
When he noticed Fishlegs he smiled.
“Hey, Fishlegs!” Hiccup greeted
Fishlegs grinned, “I can’t believe you found not one, but two new species of dragons.” Fishlegs squealed in delight, “This is more amazing than I thought. And, you would not believe what I found out from the baby Snow Wraith!”
Snotlout walked over to us, “For the record, I was the only one who was brave enough to go in the cave in the first place. The rest of them were too chicken to go in.” Snotlout bragged
You rolled your eyes, “Yep, that’s how it happened.”
“Yeah, good thing we brought you along Snotlout or things would’ve gone way south.” Hiccup added dryly.
“You’re welcome.” Snotlout said, examining his nails.
Fishlegs looked unamused, he opened his mouth to speak when chicken jumped on him in fright.
“Not cool, A. I told you your face makes her nervous.” Tuff raged
“I didn’t even do anything!” Astrid complained
“Sure you didn’t, Astrid.” Ruff said accusingly
“Hey, get off of me!” Fishlegs pulled chicken off of him
“Be careful, Gronkle lover, she’s fragile!” Tuff roared, picking up chicken and cooing at her.
“Hey! She took my book!” Fishlegs yelled
Tuff chuckled menacingly, “Did she?” He smirked holding Fishlegs book up in the air.
“Give me that!” Fishlegs ran towards Tuff in search of his book.
Tuffnut through the book in the air, towards where his sister was standing. But instead of landing in Ruffnut hands it landed on Snotlout's face.
Snotlout shrieked as he fell over.
Astrid fell to the floor laughing.
Heather ran over to pull Fishlegs off of Tuffnut.
“Should we help them?” You asked Hiccup
He examined the scene in front of him, “We’ll step in once Astrid pulls out her ax.”
You nodded in agreement, enjoying the scene in front of you.
You and Hiccup laughed silently at the chaos that was currently your friends. Enjoying these last few moments together before you were sure to have to step in before anyone could get really hurt.

Hello! I saw you wrote my request. 🥰 Thanks so much. Could I request another one? This one is a bit angsty: 29 & 30 with Wrecker x Fem reader. I’m wondering if this could be a challenge bc I just don’t see Wrecker getting into an argument with his s/o. Maybe his brothers, but not his girl.
Thanks!
Aw man, you're killing me with the Wrecker angst here, my friend 😜 But alas, here it is!!
"Not Ready"
29. "Shut up!"/"Make me!"
30. "Don't walk away from me!"
Pairing: Wrecker x fem reader
***
"What were you thinking? I told you, you weren't ready!"
After just narrowly finishing a mission, you found yourself being reprimanded by Wrecker. Lately, he'd been teaching you how to disarm explosives and you'd come across one on the mission that you honestly thought you could disable on your own, even though Wrecker had warned you against it saying you weren't quite ready yet. You thought you'd had it, but things had gone wrong and you'd made the countdown go faster. Wrecker had to quickly grab you and rush you to safety just before it exploded. Luckily, you and the rest of the squad had made it out okay with the intel you needed and you were on your way back to the Marauder...but Wrecker was definitely not happy with you at the moment and neither were you.
"And I told you, I had it handled!" you said frustratedly back to him, stopping to turn back and face him.
"Which is why the countdown started speeding up?" he asked back.
"Okay, that was one mistake," you spat back.
"One that almost cost you your life," he responded.
It was then Echo came between you two and said, "Look, that's enough. We still got out of there with what we needed."
"We wouldn't have had I not stepped in. Her not listening to me could've ruined the whole mission," Wrecker stated, growing increasingly mad.
"Ugh, shut up!" you shouted, getting angry.
Then he bellowed back at you, louder than you'd ever heard from him before, "Make me!"
The booming volume of his voice startled you and you instinctively took a step back, your eyes widening at how almost frightening he sounded. Wrecker had never yelled at you or even raised his voice at you like that. It scared you and that's what hurt even more. You weren't scared of Wrecker; you knew he would never hurt anyone. His heart was too good for that. This, however...it was different and you hated how it made you feel. Tears sprang to your eyes and, taken aback by the whole thing, you whipped around and sprinted away from the group in a different direction, hearing the others calling after you.
Wrecker realized too late what he had done just before you ran off. His face fell and his heart dropped at seeing how frightened you were. He hadn't meant to yell like that, but he had just gotten so frustrated...now he deeply regretted it.
"You shouldn't have yelled at her like that, Wrecker," Hunter lightly scolded him.
"I know," Wrecker replied sadly. "I don't know what came over me."
"You need to talk to her and apologize," Hunter told him.
Wrecker simply nodded and ran off in the direction you had gone.
You had stopped to quickly catch your breath and wipe the tears away from your eyes when you heard Wrecker's thunderous footsteps coming. You figured he had followed after you to just yell at you some more, so you went to move away.
"Wait, don't!" he cried out, making you halt. Then you heard his voice tremble slightly as he pleaded, "Please don't...don't walk away from me."
You turned over your shoulder and saw Wrecker standing just a few feet away, a look of regret on his face.
"I'm sorry," he said. "I shouldn't have yelled at you or said all those things. I care about you a lot and...I got worried when that bomb nearly killed you. That's why I want to make sure you're fully ready when it comes to explosives...and I'd hoped you would trust me when it came to them."
You hung your head in shame. He was right. He was the demolitions expert for a reason. "You're right. I should've trusted you," you admitted. "I just...really thought I was ready and wanted to impress you."
He walked over and put his hands on your shoulders. "You have impressed me with how quickly you're learning," he said to raise your spirits. "But if you jump the gun too quickly with explosives, things could end badly. That's why you have to be extra careful. You got it?"
"Yeah...I do," you replied. "I'm sorry and I'll be sure to listen to you better in the future."
"And I'll be sure to not get too worked up if things go wrong," he promised. "I'm just afraid of losing you."
You reached up and laid a hand on his cheek. "It'll take a lot more than a bomb for you to ever lose me. You can count on that."
With a comforted smile, he wrapped you up in his strong and warm embrace, just happy to have you there in the first place.

-Yandere Killua Zoldyck X Reader-
⚠️warning⚠️ mentions of obsessive thinking, stalking, and clinginess (none of this is intense though, but it’s still worth putting a TW just in case)
Fandom: Hunter X Hunter. Characters: Killua Zoldyck, Gon Freecs
*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧657 words *.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧
Tumblr media
*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧ *.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧*.:✧
Ever since you had become friends with Killua and Gon during the hunter exam, you had found yourself constantly being touched by Killua in some way, shape, or form. Whether he was playing with your hair, taking your hand in his, or hugging you tightly, Killua seemed to always need your touch. So then, it was no surprise to you that the very moment you exited the heavens arena match, Killua rushed over to you and gently grabbed your hand to get your attention, pulling you to his side.
As soon as he felt you pressed up against his, he felt your steady breaths and your soft skin against his, Killua breathed a silent sigh of relief. Not being the most 'enthusiastic' fighter, being a Zoldyck was already torture enough for him, but it was made even worse by the fact he was forced to be separated so far away from you. He couldn't talk to you, couldn't touch you, couldn't even daydream about you without Gon snapping him out of his thoughts. Somehow though, he had gotten through his thoughts of worry, and now he was more than ready to make up for lost time.
"Man I'm really hungry," he told you, his voice
barely above a whisper, but just loud enough for you to hear, giving your shoulder an affectionate squeeze.
"I'm definitely ready to eat something right about now".
"Me too, that fight sure did take my energy out" you laughed. "I'm just gonna head to the bathroom with Gon first, so I'll meet you down there."
"Okay, " Killua pouted, not wanting to let you go. He had only just gotten you back into his arms, why should he have to give you up to Gon? His eyes watching you closely, Killua hid as he waited for you and Gon to leave the bathrooms to get a little way ahead of him before making his move and following you. What kind of boyfriend would he be, after all, if he just left you all alone?
That reasoning, so wrapped up in his love for you, guided Killua all the way to the men and women’s bathroom, where he hid behind a large plant pot. Fingers twitching slightly from withdrawal of you, Killua instinctively stalked you and Gon as you both exited the bathrooms in sync. If he couldn't have you in his touch at the moment, he could at least still have the sound of your angelic voice in his ear.
"So, "Gon said as you two began walking to the food court, "you and Killua, huh?"
"What do you mean?" you asked back.
"You guys are so really cute together! Are you two dating or something?"
At his question, Killua beamed, his smile positively electric. As much as he loved touching you for its own sake, for the sheer joy and comfort it brought him, he was just as pleased with the other benefits. Namely, that of having people realize that you were taken, that you were off-limits.
"Oh," you answered with a slight chuckle. "We're not dating, Killua and I are just friends." Freezing at your response, the first thing that Killua felt was sheer confusion. He simply had no idea why you would lie about the love you and he shared. Did he do something wrong? Did he upset you somehow? Did he misunderstand something?
No, Killua told himself, that couldn't be it. You loved him, he just knew it. You must.. you must just be shy! Too worried to express your true feelings!! Yes, that was it, Killua realized in relief.
You were just so timid, you didn't know how to tell people about something so close to your heart. Well, that was okay, Killua thought. He would just have to make up for it then, would have to keep you in his arms at every opportunity, showing everyone that he was the only one who had your love.

I keep thinking about how well grantaire and anna would get along (before she gets re-brainwashed)... i know you've moved away from spn canon with UMW but do you have thoughts on how your characters would theoretically interact with spn characters?
ah yes, the re-brainwashing was very unfortunate 😔
my main headcanon re. UMW characters meeting SPN characters is that if Enjolras and Grantaire met Sam and Dean, based on Enjolras's personality and him having the sword, they would absolutely assume he was the angel of the pair 😂 Dean would probably commiserate with Grantaire about the challenges of hanging out with a socially challenged angel, and Grantaire would absolutely go along with it. Then Cas would show up and be like 'hello brother 😐' and spoil his fun.
I think Enjolras and Dean would butt heads, but Sam and Combeferre would probably get along quite well. I hope the spirit of Victor Hugo can't see me typing this.
Ages ago I actually started writing a little crossover story just for fun but I found it really weird 😂 I don't know if I'll ever write any more of it so I'll put what I have under a cut here if anyone wants to read it lol
(it is definitely not UMW canon 😂)
Grantaire is in a long-abandoned barn in rural Belgium, idly sweeping up the ashy remains of the shapeshifter that had been terrorising the nearby village in the guise of a local cryptid legend, when Combeferre pops into his mind with a bemusing prayer:
Don't come back to my apartment right now.
Grantaire pauses, awaiting further details. If Combeferre were in danger, he's sure he wouldn't bother beating around the bush, so Grantaire isn't overly worried, but Combeferre has never told him to stay away before and so he waits, curious. A minute or so later, an even more bemusing continuation:
Or if you do, make sure you come in through the front door like a human would.
Sometimes Grantaire desperately wishes that the prayer communication line went both ways. Combeferre feels distracted, like there are many other things demanding his attention and he is snatching at quiet moments to send Grantaire fragmented intel. Finally:
Other hunters here.
With that, the pieces slot together. Grantaire personally thinks it would be kind of funny for him to drop in on a room full of Musain hunters, especially the ones who'd written him off as a drunken waste of space years ago, and he could always erase their memories after if it was going to cause problems, but he supposes that Combeferre's solution of just keeping him away for a while is simpler. He finishes his clean up and is just about to return to Jehan's house when Combeferre reaches out again.
Could use your expertise for this. Come back if you're able? But please be discreet.
Grantaire snorts. He thinks he'll enjoy having a conversation with Combeferre later about why it's okay to pretend that he's human to other hunters, but not to Enjolras or Combeferre himself. He's well aware of the difference and the reasoning, of course, but he does like watching Combeferre wrestle with a moral quandary.
Enjolras is here, too.
This last part sounds like a warning, and Grantaire supposes it is, and one he should be thankful for. He braces himself before flying back to Combeferre's building, going up the stairs with pointed emphasis and hoping everyone in the apartment can hear his very normal, very human footsteps approaching. He opens the apartment door, calling out a greeting, and he steps inside and the world stops.
The other angel in Combeferre's living room stares at him, his human face registering only mild surprise even as his luminous true form roils and sparks in shock and alarm and, of course, horrifyingly, recognition. Grantaire stares back for a wild, world-tilting moment, and then he flies in a mad flurry, grabbing Enjolras and Combeferre and taking them to the furthest side of the room, pushing them behind him. Combeferre, who had just expressly told Grantaire to be on his best and most human behaviour, calls his name in confused dismay, and Enjolras is saying something too, demanding to know what he's doing, and there are two other humans here too, making their own noise, but then—
"Hello, brother," Castiel says, and all the humans in the room fall deathly silent.
Grantaire doesn't answer. His hand instinctively twitches to curl around the handle of a blade not currently in his possession. He can feel the presence of his sword burning in Enjolras's coat pocket and he wonders if the split second it would take for him to get to it will mean fiery death for all of them.
Three thousand years, he thinks. Three thousand years he successfully kept his head down, and then Combeferre goes and invites another angel into his living room—!
"Aw no, brother?" one of the new humans repeats. Grantaire doesn't dare take his eyes off Castiel, but the human sounds exasperated. He also sounds American, which raises many questions but also answers the one of why they are all here and not at the Musain. Grantaire can only imagine the Musain hunters' reaction to Americans descending upon their home base. "Cas, are you serious?"
"He's pretty clearly serious." The other human puts himself in Grantaire's line of vision, stepping between him and Castiel with one hand raised placatingly. He's uncommonly tall and more than broad enough in the shoulders to be considered physically imposing by human standards, but his posture and expression are currently extremely non-confrontational—he looks nervous, and sort of concerned. He looks at Grantaire first but then, clearly finding no invitation in his stony face, tilts his head to look past him at Enjolras and Combeferre instead. "So, uh. Got yourselves an angel."
"As do you, it would seem," Combeferre says with measured calm. It's strange to hear him speak English. Out of the corner of his eye, Grantaire sees him take half a step forward and hisses back at him, "Don't."
"Hey, who are you? Do we know you?" the first human says suddenly. "Are you an old douchebag in a new meat-suit?"
"Dean," Castiel says in quiet admonishment.
"What? It's not like we can tell."
"You don't know him," Castiel tells him before turning back to Grantaire. "This isn't necessary. I'm not going to harm you or these humans. You should calm yourself."
"And if you want to harm Cas then we're going to have a problem," the tall human says.
Grantaire makes no attempt to calm himself. "Are you alone?" he demands of Castiel, whose vessel affects a faintly puzzled expression.
"I'm here with Sam and Dean," he says slowly, and Grantaire scowls.
"I mean," he says, "where is your garrison?"
"I no longer serve Heaven, Rachmiel," Castiel says in oddly gentle tones, as if he's just realised why Grantaire would be so horrified to see him.
"Do not call me that," Grantaire snaps with a sharp shake of his head. "You—what do you mean?"
"I am...fallen." There's a strange mixture of pride and shame in Castiel's voice as he says it. "My loyalties were tested and I found them to lie more with humanity than with our brothers and sisters."
"You…" Grantaire's mind, emerging from the initial shock, starts to piece things together, starts to remember. "I saw you. Last year. You were killing angels and humans. Hundreds of them."
"Hey, that wasn't Cas," one of the humans, Dean, starts to protest, while Grantaire hears twin sharp intakes of breath from Combeferre and Enjolras as they apparently make the connection between the God-Monster they'd seen on screen all those months ago and the mild-mannered man standing before them now.
"Look, okay, let's...We didn't come here to fight," says the other human, whom Grantaire assumes, through elimination, to be Sam. "It's complicated, okay? But Castiel is with us. He's not the bad guy. He's saved our lives more times than I can count and—hell, he helped us stop the apocalypse."
"Did he say the apocalypse?" Grantaire hears Enjolras mutter behind him.
"What did you two have to do with the…?" Grantaire looks at the two strangers properly for the first time and feels a fresh wave of hysteria. There is a lot to be read from their souls that he will unpack later, but most pressingly, he can see who they are—what they are. "You're the vessels." His undoubtedly wild-eyed gaze swings back to Castiel. "You're walking around with Michael and Lucifer's vessels? You brought them here?"
"Michael and Lucifer are both in the cage," Castiel says. "I do not expect they will be coming looking for their vessels."
"And they already know that they do not have consent to take either of us for a ride," Dean says with a grimly sardonic smile.
Grantaire's head feels like it's going to explode, which wouldn't kill him but would undoubtedly be very distressing for Enjolras and Combeferre to witness. He wills his vessel to hold it together.
"Grantaire," Combeferre says quietly—even that makes him jump. Combeferre speaks to him in soft, rapid-fire French that the Americans clearly do not understand and that Castiel politely pretends not to hear. "If he's really broken with Heaven, isn't that a good thing? For you to not be the only one?"
Grantaire casts a somewhat tortured glance back at him, not anywhere near ready to accept the idea that running into anyone from his family could ever be good, before looking inevitably back to Castiel, unable to keep his eyes from returning to the perceived threat in the room.
"It is good to see you," Castiel says, horribly earnest. "I believed you dead."
"Yeah, that was the idea," Grantaire snaps. Castiel tilts his head to one side like a confused puppy, a crease appearing between his eyebrows.
"You've been in hiding," he hazards finally.
"Pretty successfully, up until now," Grantaire says.
"Hey, just like Gabriel," Dean remarks. "You gotta wonder how many other angels flew the coop."
"Gabriel," Combeferre repeats in tones of disbelief that match Grantaire's own feelings. "The archangel? He also…?"
"Gabriel is dead," Grantaire says bluntly.
"Yeah, but he had a good run hanging out down here pretending to be a trickster god," Dean says with a smile that suggests not-so-fond remembrance. "What've you been hiding out as? Some other deity?"
There's an agonising sort of pause, and then it's Enjolras who says, not without bitterness, "A human."
Dean whistles. "That's a bold choice."
"Rachmiel," Castiel says, and Grantaire wants to scream. "Heaven will not hear of any of this from me. You and your humans are safe. Please. I—Here."
He puts one hand up as if in surrender while his blade falls from the sleeve of his coat into his other hand. He holds it up, slowly and demonstratively, before setting it down on Combeferre's coffee table and stepping back.
There is a very strange, very awkward moment where Castiel and his two humans look at Grantaire expectantly, waiting for him to return the gesture and disarm. Finally, Enjolras steps forward. He catches Grantaire's eye questioningly and, at his nod, takes Grantaire's blade out of his own coat and lays it next to Castiel's. Dean and Sam's eyebrows shoot up and Castiel gives a slow, considered blink, but mercifully all three of them refrain from saying anything about the matter.

T S A W K S Y U L - sun lilly
Pairing: agedup!Neteyam x omatikaya!fem!reader
Words: 1k+ (7 min.)
Warnings: fluff, love confessions, mentions of mating, use of y/n, a slight insecure reader, wounds, bit of swearing, sexual thoughts, making out, jealousy
A/N: ok so I don't even know why I made this but I am completely obsessed with Avatar and Neteyam sooo why not write if I enjoy reading it sm? Btw English ain't my first language so there might be some wrongly written words, nevertheless I hope you like it!
Translations:
Oel ngati kameie - I see you
Paywll - water plant (used for medicine)
Maite - my daughter
Tumblr media
"Sometimes two souls are matched by Eywa herself."
His grandmother once said, and that was exactly what crossed Neteyam's mind when he first saw you. You were both about 11 and he, alongside his brother were walking towards the healing tent after Lo'ak fell because of a vine.
And there you were, mixing up medicine with your new friend Kiri for the Tsahìk.
"You can't never get away from trouble can you child?"
Lo'ak scratched the back of his neck and sat down waiting for his grandmother to patch him up. Neteyam on the other hand found himself gawking at the new girl, with a tsawksyul resting on her ear, standing right in front of him.
She was beautiful, no, alluring. Everything inside him tingled when she turned her face to hand Mo'at a misture of plants and now Neteyam was wishing he was the one tripping over vine so that he would be cured by whatever was made by the girl's hands.
"Oh brother, this is my new friend Y/N."
Y/N Y/N Y/N, her name rang on his head like a song that never stopped musing.
"Oel ngati kameie, Neteyam." She held 2 of her 4 fingers to her forehead and dropped them, greeting Neteyam in the most unintentionall graceful way.
"Oel ngati kameie, Y/N"
He struggles to breath, the mighty warrior Neteyam was shaking because of a girl?
He knew his siblings noticed his flustered behavior, but he didn't care. He only cared about finding out everything about this Y/N, this behavior seemed to stay untouched for the following 7 years...
Tumblr media
"Mama! I'm going to pick up some more paywll for the Tsahìk."
Your voice rang inside the tent you and your family lived. "Okay, maite. Just be safe and do not come home after eclipse, yeah?"
"Yup!"
You say as you walk out of your house, casually jumping to fasten your step. Teníu your ikran seemed to be already waiting for you and you immediately hop on top of him to sore in the beautiful sky, although you enjoyed being a healer sometimes you wished you could just fly across Pandora with no due time.
That was always on your mind but you cared too much for your people, who else would cheer up the young children while healing their swollen bruises, or patch up the hunters?
Well, someone else probably would but you like the fact everyone liked you, even the most sour kids.
While caught up with your own thoughts you fail to notice the na'vi in front of you preparing to make a clean kill on an animal.
"Oh shit-"
You bumped on the boy's back and he missed his target, something unusual for him. Him being no other than Neteyam.
"I am so sorry 'Teyam, I didn't see you- well I did see you but I didn't really mark your presence."
You ramble an apology to your friend and crush, hoping he could endure your stupidity, but the boy was barely listening to you if he was being honest, your voice was now a background sound while he discreetly admired your body and how your skin was glowing from the sun.
"It's all good Y/N, no need to tire yourself, I wasn't even interested in the kill." That was a lie. He actually needed that kill to bring home for lunch, but speaking with you was far more interesting than a meal. Plus, he made a promise to his parents to start courting you at the Hunt festival, not he didn't think to do it since forever but he just didn't have the courage. What if you rejected him and it made things awkward? He couldn't bare being apart from you.
"Oh, good then." You smile and your eyes wondered his body looking for wounds, a habit you seemed to pick up ever since you tasked yourself with healing.
"Come, you have a big cut right here, on your shoulder. I shall patch you up before it gets infected."
"Y/N, there is no need for that I am fine and it's not that big."
You looks at him with your doll like eyes and he immediately knows there is no way he can convince you to not patch him up.
You grab his forearm and he immediately took a deep breath, calming his body, or more so his cock. He did this everytime your hands were on him and he loved and hated when you patched him up because as soon as you were done with it, he knew he had to pleasure himself while thinking the most obscene things about you.
He knew it probably wasn't the right thing to do, and he sometimes felt shame for having these thoughts about you but he couldn't help it.
You arrived back into high camp and dragged the boy to the healers tent, your second home.
You unwrap the paywll you picked up and immediately started working on your favorite patient.
His skin was soft, and his gaze was stuck on you, amazed by your concentrated face. He was always struck by how beautiful and graceful you were, and he knew he wasn't the only one who thought this. In fact, he heard everyday comments from other hunters on your beauty. But they don't know you like he does, they don't deserve you like he does. If he could choose when to take his last breath, it would next to you, just so he could take your devine scent with him.
"Y/N?"
His voice was a whisper now, hell, he could barely hear his own voice now.
"Yes, I'm almost done."
"Y/N, do you like anyone?"
Your freckles glowed and you avoided his eyes at all cost.
"Y-yes of course, I like everyone."
You say, trying desperately to cover up your massive crush on the boy you were healing. He couldn't know, not when he probably already has his mate promised, not when he basically see's you like a another little sister of his.
"Not like that. Like, is there anyone you would like to mate with? We're at the age of finding a mate..."
You felt sadness wash over you now, although you knew what he was saying is true, you didn't want to talk about mating. Not when the one you truly wanted to mate with was far from your reach.
"Maybe..."
The silent was scratching your skin in a very uncomfortable way and you were counting the seconds till you where finished with the cut.
"Who?"
His voice was stern and with a hint of jealousy, but he couldn't control it. You with someone else but him? Never.
Your silence was not helping either, not that he wasn't confident but you always seemed so distant and uncomfortable when he talked about love or mating, perhaps even sad...
"Is it Naran?"
You shake your head still not daring to look at him.
"Heatey?" "No, no Neteyam it's not-"
He grabs your thigh with one hand and your chin with the other forcing eye contact with his eyes, looking desperately for an answer.
"Who is it then?"
He was starting to get close, too close. You could feel his hot breath on your plump lips and his fingers gripping your thigh ever so slightly.
"Neteyam..."
You sigh, it was him you liked. It was him you loved but you weren't able to make yourself say it, not when he's so close and-
His lips connect into yours. It was sweet and perfect just like you imagined, maybe it even surpassed your expectations. You both start moving in sync like you've done this for your whole life but it was only the first time your lips met someone else's.
He licks your bottom lip asking nicely for permission to enter your mouth, now what started as an innocent puppy love first kiss, turned into a heated make out, both craving each other. Not that you didn't want it but you were question if you were doing it right.
After a rough minute you pull away, a string of spit being attached to your swollen lip.
"Say it Y/N. Please..."
He begged with faded eyes.
"You, you are the... I love you 'Teyam"
He absolutely despised when other girls called him Teyam, with their annoying squealing voice. But you... Eywa, you said it in the most pleasing way for a word to be spoken. All he wanted to hear for as long as he met you was just said in the most perfect way.
He kissed you again, wanting to be stuck in your mouth forever.
"I love you Y/N, I love you so much it's arduous to breath when you're not by my side. It hurts to walk when I know that at the end you won't be there greet me. I am madly in love you."
You huff a breathy chuckle not believing your dream has just changed to a reality.
He smiles still holding your heated cheeks.
"I have something for you."
Your ears twitch in curiosity, as he pulls out a neck piece, obviously made with tsawksyul. It was beautiful.
"Wow Neteyam..."
You admire the accessory, stunned by it's beauty.
"Y/N I was originally going to give this to you tomorrow, to ask you to be mate but I cannot wait any longer. When I saw you for the first time, you were wearing a tsawksyul on your hair. It was beautiful, you were beautiful. It became my favorite flower and my favorite material, everytime I see one I think of you, I guess that's why I love them so much, I see them all the time."
He looks down and takes a deep breath like he always wanted to say this, but took himself back everytime.
"I want you to wear this necklace so I don't have to see a tsawksyul to have your image on my mind. I want it to be backwards. I want to think of tsawksyul's when I see you."
Tears were threatening from falling off your eyes as you hug him and feel a grunt coming form him.
"Oh fuck, I'm sorry I forgot about your cut."
"It's fine, I can handle a cut. What I can't handle is your rejection."
He arched his eyebrow and you giggle softly to yourself.
"I would love to be your mate Ma Neteyam."
Ma Neteyam... He could definitely get used to this. In fact, he wanted to hear that every day.
"I love you."
He says again connection both of your foreheads while cupping your cheeks like he always wanted, like you always wanted.

Boyfriend Material
Can be pre Thanks to Them or post canon, take your pick ✌️ Short Huntlow fluff.
———
“Oh! There’s the craft store!” Hunter pointed out excitedly as he and Camila excited the show store, their arms full of shopping bags. “Would it be okay if we went in real quick to grab some fabric?”
“Si mijo, of course.” Camila said with a smile, following the excited boy. “What kind of fabric did you need? I can help you find it.”
“Do you think they have any boyfriend material?”
Camila stopped in her tracks and look at Hunter with a raised eyebrow, stifling her laughter. “What was that?” She asked slowly, wanting to ensure she had heard him right.
“Boyfriend material.” Hunter repeated.
“Oh, that’s what I thought you said.” Camila said, flipping through the racks. “Where uh where did you hear about this material, mi amor?”
“Oh, from Willow.” Hunter replied, reading the labels on some colorful spools of thread. “The other day I was showing her the jacket I made and she said it looked like it was made of boyfriend material. But I told it wasn’t, it was just denim.”
“Okay…” Camila said, easily picturing the scenario and the flirtation flying right over Hunter’s head.
“And then she said ‘I dunno, the way it looks on you it really looks like boyfriend material.’ So I read the label, just to be sure. But it was just denim. So I wanted to get some and make her a jacket as a surprise, since she seems to like it.”
“Why isn’t that sweet of you,” said Camila, shaking her head endearingly. She thought about expanding the sentiment to him, but felt it best that he figure this one out for himself. “I’m sure she’ll love whatever you make for her.”
“I hope so, but I really think she had her heart set in boyfriend material,” said Hunter, digging through another bin. “I’m guessing it’s similar to denim, but I wonder what makes it different?”
“Oh, I think Willow can help you figure that out,” said Camila. “Why don’t you just pick something in a color she likes, huh?”
Hunter immediately went over the greens, finding the perfect shade to compliment her eyes. “Oh this is perfect!” He beamed. “I can make her a jacket for flyer derby, and I can spell her name in patches on the back and put some flowers on the sleeve and add extra pockets on the inside for her to keep seed packets and then…”
His mind starting racing with the possibilities of how to make the fabric worthy of the plant witch. Normally, Camila would advise him to pace himself before he put too much on his plate but she knew it was a labor of love and there was no stopping him when something involved his Captain.
“Oh shoot, I dunno if there is enough to make it with long sleeves,” said Hunter.
“Oh, that’s okay we can ask for more up at the counter.”
“Perfect!” Said Hunter, dashing over that way. “Oh wait, I know the color but what type is it?”
“I think the tag said ‘girlfriend material.’” Camila chuckled, mostly to herself.
“‘Girlfriend material?’” Hunter repeated, giving the phrase some thought before chuckling. “Huh! What are the odds? Wait until I tell Willow!”

Pairing: Din Djarin x F!Reader
Word Count: 5K
Warnings: 18+. Sex pollen. Dub-con due to the sex pollen. Drugging (reader's drink gets spiked). Protective and pissed off Din. Slight gore. Dead bodies. Fingering. Unprotected PIV. Outdoor sex.
A/N: I fucked up slightly, this was intended for the Sin series but when I re-checked the ask I realised I'd gone in a totally different direction than the request. I didn't really want to re-write this so now everyone gets an extra Din fic.
This isn’t how he had pictured it.
All the times he lay alone in his cot and envisioned how soft you would be beneath him, the warmth of your skin flushed with pleasure as he stretched you open on his fingers - as his mouth worked you to delirium - ready for the slow slide of his cock sinking to the hilt.
He thought it would be sweet, that despite everything he was - all of his sharp edges and brute strength - he could make the memory of the first time he took you one that was untouched by pain and violence and all the other harsh things that came with being hunters.
But then this job had come along and they'd had been too quick following the first lead to the mark they got instead of doing some real digging on the guy like you usually insisted.
I don’t like surprises you would usually tell him but this time you were both too exhausted. There’d been too many hunts - too many fights and not enough time to take a break after. It was catching up with you both, leaving you itching to get this job out of the way so you could finally rest.
And of course it bit you in the ass.
You had entered the club with only the knowledge that your mark was a frequent face among patrons and it had all gone to shit almost ridiculously fast.
The drink that had been brought to your table - the server announcing cheerfully first ones of the night are always on the house - had been laced, the effects taking hold of you the moment the last drop passed your lips.
Din had watched, confused, as your eyes had become glazed. Lids heavy and gaze transfixed on the writhing bodies that crowded the glittering dancefloor. He had asked you a question. Any sign of the bounty? And it was like you couldn’t hear him, like he was calling to you through water when he raised his voice to say your name.
You’d remained rooted in place at the edge of your seat - white-knuckling the smooth leather until he hesitantly placed his hand on your knee and then you had jerked. You’d snapped out of it like he’d burned you, a gasp caught in your throat and your chest heaving as you blinked at him.
"What - what is it?” You had demanded breathlessly and if he hadn’t been suspicious that something wasn’t right before, he certainly was then.
There was a tremor to your voice he had never heard before and where his gloved hand still remained curved around your knee, heat seared through the worn leather and scorched his palm.
"Are you okay mesh'la?" He'd asked, his gaze raking over you in a way he'd previously refused to allow himself.
You were wrapped in a silky little dress the colour of the midnight sky. The neckline dipping to reveal the swell of your breasts and the hemline short enough that the bare skin of your legs had seemed endless when you'd first strode towards him as he'd waited for you outside the crest.
Din hadn't been able to look at you for more than a few seconds at a time because he knew if he took any longer he wouldn't be able to think clearly.
He wouldn't have been able to concentrate on the job with the image of those legs wrapped around his waist - that lipstick-stained mouth parted around a moan of his name as he rut into you - slamming through his skull.
But he let himself stare now - shoving down those thoughts away so he could assess the situation properly - his heart dropping to his stomach as he took in the sweat that beaded at your hairline, the weak tremble of you hand as you lifted it to your forehead in an attempt to swipe the moisture away.
You glanced at him nervously as you did so, chewing your lip. “I don’t feel right, Mando.” You murmured. “Everything feels too tight, like I’m about to burst.”
He had scooted closer, slid right along the plush seat of the booth to fit himself to your side as his thumb rubbed small circles over the flesh of your knee. It was supposed to be a comfort, an unspoken gesture that he was there - that you were safe -  but instead you had groaned like he’d shoved his hand through your chest and gripped something vital.
The sound of it making his blood rush south as he thanked the maker that his helmet hid the way he’d had to sink his teeth into his lip to bite back a moan.
"Don’t stop please.” You begged, pressing your own hands over his when he went to remove it. “It hurts when you’re not touching me.”
His eyes had narrowed at that. It sounded familiar - wisps of old tales floating around in his head before he remembered one about a poison that made you crave others. That made your blood boil beneath your skin until you found someone to offer the pleasure necessary to sate the all-encompassing need.
But how? You hadn’t been out of his sight all day. You hadn’t ingested anything the two of you hadn’t personally made, except…
His gaze snapped to the glass you had recently drained, remnants of the shimmering liquid still clinging to the edges and he can smell it as he takes it in his hand to inspect it closer. That sickly-sweet smell - the strong blend of fruit and synthetic syrup.
He can suddenly feel eyes on him and when he looks up the server that gave you the drink is staring at him with wide, terrified eyes - face paling as Din’s suspicion brews to a blinding fury that gathers around him like a storm.
It had been intentional then. No doubt the bounty had caught wind that they were on his take and had taken measures to slow them down. He would kill them for this - both of them - would rip them apart and leave the mark of his violence behind in the mess of their insides as a warning should anyone else come for them in the future.
No one touches her and lives.
His vision was seeping red. His blood running black with rage beneath his skin before it lit with panic as your hand flew to your stomach and your expression crumpled into something agonised.
"Fuck.” He hissed when you hunched over beside him with a sharp cry of pain. “ I have to get you out of here, now.”
"What about the bounty?” You panted, looking up at him through the fringe of your lashes that were wet with unshed tears. You looked so small  - a far cry from the ruthless hunter people would whisper about after you had swept through their town. It broke his heart, stamping down that insatiable temper of his as he gathered you to his chest and raised a hand to cup your cheek. “What’s happening to me Mando?”
"Your drink was laced with an aphrodisiac, he probably knew we were following him.” He muttered gently, thumb stroking the swell of your cheek as alarm flashed across your features. “I don’t think it’s lethal but I need to get you back to the ship before the effects get any worse. Can you stand mesh’la?”
Instead of an answer you fucking whimpered. The needy sound of it shooting heat straight through his gut as your eyes grew dark beneath the flutter of your lashes and your fingers curled tight into his cowl.
Was it his touch or his voice that had prompted such a reaction?
Whichever it was you suddenly looked like you wanted to devour him and Din had to swallow down the fierce sweep of desire that urged him to let you.
To drag you onto his lap and lay himself at your mercy, the words use me, take what you need, whatever you want it’s yours clawing up his throat whilst he grit his teeth and wrenched his face away from yours to scan their surroundings.
They would have to exit through the back. The club was too crowded, there was too many bodies -all packed tight - between them and the main entrance and when Din had stood to get a better look, another sight had stopped him dead.
Guards at the door.
0ne’s that definitely hadn’t been there when you both entered and he’s almost certain are slyly watching every move he makes as he quickly tugs you to your feet and bundles you into his side.
He wanted to believe it was paranoia. That it was in no way related to the poison working its way through your system and the two of you were going to get outside and be able to make your way to the ship without an issue.
He’d never wanted to believe something so much in his life.
**
It was a trap.
Deep down Din had known it as they’d stumbled into the quiet of dark corridors - the lingering thump of the music pulsing beneath his boots.
He’d known it when your legs had buckled and he’d scooped you up in his arms, cradling you to his chest like a newborn babe before he’d broke out into a run and nearly kicked the door of its hinges as they’d reached it.
But he hadn’t truly allowed himself to acknowledge it until he’d come face to face with the steel fence chained shut and the sound of a dozen footsteps descending upon them. He lowered you carefully to the ground and a weak groan rattled from your throat as you sank back against the fence and hugged your knees to your chest.
He heard the door shut - the click of the lock - and his rage had soared. You were sick and though he was sure it wasn’t lethal he couldn’t shake the feeling like he was running out of time to get you help.
And they were stood in his way.
"Did you really think you could take me down in my own club, Mandalorian?”
He needed to swallow down his anger and think, needed to focus on the best way he can take them all out without letting a single one near you.
But then the bounty looked past him to where you were curled up on the ground and any thoughts of a quick and calculated fight were snatched right out of his head.
"Pretty partner you’ve got there.” He’d leered, dragging his tongue over his lip. “Seems like a shame to waste her and the drug… she must be dying for someone to fuck her right about now. Maybe after I've killed you, we’ll take it in turns before I send her to join you.”
A terrifying sound had followed - something dark and ragged and drenched in a murderous brand of fury - and then Din’s vision swam black.
Just as the saber ignited in his hand.
**
When he comes to, he's panting. There was a mass of bodies, slack mouths and bulging, glassy eyes - caught in the horror of their final moments. The air stained with the stench of singed flesh and the metallic tang of blood.
He stares at the carnage he created in a daze until you croak his name and his gaze shoots to where you're sat, wide eyed and trembling, staring at him in disbelief. Or maybe it was fear.
He had totally lost his head after all, had been absolutely unhinged in the way he took them apart, piece by piece - limb by limb. Maybe you wouldn’t be able to look at him the same now that he’d uncovered a new type of darkness he was capable of when it came to you.
He approaches you slowly with hands splayed wide in front of him, hesitant as if one wrong move would send you scurrying away, and to his utter surprise you’re lips quirk - voice cracking with a rasping chuckle.
"I’m not scared of you Din.”
When he kneels before you, you reach for him easily. Lacing your fingers through his and pressing his gloved hand to the flushed skin of your cheek. “I was scared for you. Felt so fucking useless but then you… you did that and I… fuck…”
His voice goes low - thick honey over gravel - a wicked flare of heat licking through his belly as your eyes burn dark. The black of your pupils drowning out their colour. “You what? Tell me.”
There's a second where you simply state at him, lip drawn between your teeth. Weighing your admission on your tongue as the space between you begins to crackle with energy. Then you take a long, shuddering breath and…
"I couldn’t take my eyes off you.” You husk. “Seeing the way you ripped them apart for me - I liked it.”
Fuck.
He clenched his jaw - his free hand - his entire body. Everything he could to remain from lunging at you and burying himself inside you right there. It had to be the drug talking, at least that's what he tried telling himself.
There were still remnants of that hungered energy within him, desperate for somewhere to go and here you were telling him you had liked it, when he was trying his best to do right by you.
He tries to say your name, tries to curl his tongue around the letters in a way that isn’t dripping want but then you gasp and your heated expression dissolves into something frighteningly pained, tears springing into your eyes as you fold in on yourself.
His arms are around you in a second, his tone bleeding panic as he frantically scoops you up “We need to get you to the ship now.”
"It’s too late.” You sob as your body convulses, arching and bending until he has no choice but to set you on your feet. His body pinning yours to the fence and his hands clamped around the curves of your hips to hold you up. “It hurts so much… please Din…"
"We can make it - let me carry you - I'll run and we'll get you the help you need. Some medicine or something."
"No - can't wait that long."  You whimper. "I can't…I need you…I need you to touch me."
There's something close to defeat in the way he holds himself as your hands come to cup the cheeks of his helmet - the gentle touch pleading. He doesn't want it to have to be this way but he also doesn't think he can stand you being in pain much longer.
He should have protected you better, moved faster - fought harder. He should have got you back to the ship the moment he realised something wasn't right and then maybe you wouldn't have had to beg a man you had no interest in to violate you.
"This isn’t what you want, sweet girl.” He sighs, regret bitter in his chest. “Trust me, as soon as the effects fade you'll regret what you are asking of me.”
You frown then, sweat-damp brow wrinkling in a way that Din aches to smooth out with his thumb as you peer up at his visor. “You think this is just the drug?” You murmur. “That I don’t know my own mind? Stars, Din, I’ve wanted you to fuck me from the moment I saw you.”
His hands spasm, clamping tight as a startled groan slips from his throat. Were you trying to kill him? Do you have any idea how close his restraint feels to snapping from that confession alone.
"Fuck, mesh’la - you can’t just say something like that.”
But you're too far gone, pushing up against his armour and curling a hand around the nape of his neck to wrench him down so you can whisper in his ear.
“I think about it all the time - think about how good you’d feel.” Your fingers brush over the fabric covering his swelling cock and he jolts. “Wondering how you’d fuck me, if you’d make me come on your cock over and over until I was ruined mess.”
Shit.
His brain has turned to liquid. He catches your wandering hand, grunting as you palm him before he can drag it away and pin it to the fence at the side of your head. Your breath hitches as his other hand drifts down. Past the edge of your dress, the scrape of worn leather on your bare thighs making your hips jump against his hand.
He can fucking smell you and it's driving him wild - his mouth watering as he parts your thighs with one of his own.
"Pretty little thing, is that what you want?” Din husks. “You want me to ruin you?”
His fingers slip further - dipping past the soaked material of your underwear and when he slides a knuckle through your folds, you gasp.
"Yes.”
**
It's all too overwhelming the moment he breaks.
The second your simple yes cracks him open and his breath hitches before he's burying you further into the fence. His fingers grazing the peak of your clit whilst obscene noises burst from your throat - wild and desperate.
It feels so fucking good that you're almost blind with it. All that heat and need swirling to a central point in your belly that could explode at any moment - burning brighter with every rough stroke of Din's fingers and low rasp of his voice in your ear.
"That's it mesh’la - pretty thing - let me help you."
You don't know any words anymore - none other than his name at least and the gasping chant of don't stop don't stop don't stop.
When he snatches his hands away you think you’ll actually cry - a devastated wail brewed from the depths of your lungs - before he hushes you. The cold kiss of his beskar soothing against your sweat-slick face as he nuzzles you with his helmet before a different sensation against your thighs startles you.
Skin. Warm and utterly bare.
In the midst of your babbled pleading you’d missed him tearing the gloves from his hands and if you thought the contact had been electric before but this is something else entirely. His skin against yours is cataclysmic.
The moan you make when he hitches your leg over his hip and sinks those thick fingers deep inside you, unhinged.
"I want to be able to feel you when you come for me." He tells you lowly - purrs it in your ear - and the moment his thumb brushes over your clit you spasm. Soaking his hand as the tension in your lower stomach snaps violently.
You're a shuddering mess. Liquid against him whilst he shoves himself closer and continues stroking your pulsing walls - mercilessly rubbing that patch of tissue that makes you sob and your legs buckle like toothpicks. Your nails buried in his neck - the other hand fisted around his cloak as another climax slams through the dying breaths of the first.
"Oh maker, Din.” You cry out - hips jerking into his hand - thighs trembling whilst he eases you through it. His touch gentler this time, sweet, like he could sense anything harsher would fray you apart at the seams.
There’s the cool press of his helmet touching your forehead, a calming gesture that clashes with the rapid rise and fall of both of your chests. “I know.” He grunts.” “You did so well, sweet girl.”
You can hear when he removes his fingers from inside you. The liquid slip would have maybe made your cheeks flush warm under normal circumstances but now it makes you burn for completely different reasons. Your own fingers darting out to circle his wrist before leading the slick digits to the tempting plush of your mouth.
He makes a low, feral noise - the sound of your name rumbling from deep within his chest as you let the tips of his fingers rest against your lips. Waiting for him to take the next step which he does without hesitation, pressing down on the plump of your lower lip until your mouth parts for him and he slides his fingers into soft, wet heat.
You’re still aching - still throbbing like a raw, open wound - but it’s slightly more bearable now. The orgasms Din drew from you taking the edge off just enough for you to have this - this indulgence. A hint of worship. The slow lave of your tongue against his skin as he shivers. Hips rocking into the cradle of your pelvis, making you whine around his fingers when his clothed cock catches you just right.
He drags his fingers from your mouth with a hissed curse - rubbing the spit-shine of your lip in a daze whilst the hand on your thigh flexes and tightens its grip.
"I shouldn’t fuck you here.” Din mutters, swearing under his breath as you deliberately roll your hips. “You deserve better and it isn't safe. We need to go before someone comes looking.”
You hear what he leaves unspoken.
I shouldn’t fuck you here but I’m going to unless you tell me to stop. If you don’t, I’ll fuck you surrounded by bodies of people I killed and regardless of who might come looking.
You would die before you asked him to stop.
Even if you weren’t beginning to tremble again, your heartbeat picking up to a gallop and cunt fluttering around nothing as each nudge of his cock against your sex sweeps a blistering need through your veins.
Even if the reminder of the lengths he’s willing to go to keep you safe didn’t turn you liquid.
"I don’t care.” You breathe as your stomach clenches. “Please don’t make me wait that long, I need you inside me.”
He inhales sharply - his broad chest heaving whilst he cups your chin and peers down at you. A split-second hesitation before he gives in yet again.
"You’re going to be the death of me begging like that,” He husks and then his large hands are skimming over your belly. Stroking down until he reaches your underwear and tears it from your body with a brutal yank before wrenching you against him as it flutters to the ground.
You make a soft noise of surprise and he chuckles - rough and deep.  The sound of it making heat swell beneath your skin and between your thighs - your head going dizzy.
The desire you have for him is a maddening thing. Even without the drug you think you would still feel like this, like he could unravel you completely with the simplest touch or glance. Your hands shaking as you fumble with his belt whilst he watches intently.
He lets you pump him, once then twice. His length hot in your palm, throbbing beneath your fingers when the pad of your thumb drags over the weeping head. A ragged groan spills past his lips and then he’s on you. Hands wrapping around your thighs to lift you against the fence, thin metal biting into your back but any hint of pain drifts from your mind like smoke as his cock snags at your entrance.
He takes it slow at first. Let’s you feel every inch of him stretching you open as he bites back a wrecked groan - your cunt gripping him like a hot, slick fist - until he sinks to the hilt and your eyes roll back.
Oh. Oh fuck.
It’s a lot.
It’s so much that it feels like he’s reached something vital. That when he draws his hips back to drive into you again, you scream -  arching as your vision turns white.
You nearly bite through your damn tongue as he pounds into the dripping clutch of your sex. Each bruising snap of his hips punching you further up the fence, fucking you into it, the shrill sound of metal ringing through the night air as it shakes beneath Din's strength.
You had practically begged him to ruin you and he is.
You'll feel him for days after this. Maybe weeks. You'll feel him in the marks his nails leave on your thighs from his powerful grip - the hard edges of his armour that are embedded in your softness as you wind yourself around him and the way he’s carving you open with each frantic thrust. Creating a space inside you that only he can ever fill.
The tendrils of pain creeping through your system from the drug snap to pleasure immediately. You can feel it coiling unbearably tight - growing molten - white hot sparks making your blood catch and your stomach twist in knots.
"Fuck.” You sob. Nails scraping down his back, desperately trying to find some kind of  purchase as your head falls to his shoulder. “Din, I think-”
"I know, baby.” He grits, shifting slightly until the harsh spear of his cock suddenly hits something devastating over and over and over. Your breasts bouncing with every thrust and his body shuddering as you strangle his pulsing cock. “Let go - that’s it - shit. That’s it.”
You come apart with a ragged cry. Bursting hot and wet around him as his pace slows to one a hint less punishing so he can stare at the place where you’re joined - his skin and his armour that’s dripping with your release. His breathing sounds strained through the vocoder and then he groans. Low and filthy.
"You're so fucking perfect." He praises hoarsely - the scrape of his voice making you even more boneless as you quiver in his hold. "Maker. I want to taste you. After I'm done fucking you I'm going to carry you back to the ship and taste every inch of you - clean you up with my mouth - and then I'm going to fuck you again."
It scorches you. You’re clenching suffocatingly tight around the fat of him and he chokes. “Would you like that?” He asks, breathless. “ Think you can give me another?” His cock throbs inside you and you're incapable of response - past words and thoughts and anything that isn't trembling moans as his pace becomes a touch frenzied. The wet squelch of your cunt taking him deep, almost embarrassingly loud in your ears.
He bears down on that fleshy patch inside your cunt with a savage focus and all too soon there's lightning brewing in your belly. The sensation of it gathering into something furious and terrifying as his name falls from your lips in a weak chant.
"I can’t - fuck - Din, I need -”
He slides his helmet along your cheek, tips his head down until his forehead rests on yours. The skin of his neck feels just as flushed as your own when you grip it to hold him there against you. The curls that escape his helmet tickling your fingers.
"Touch yourself mesh’la. Come for me again and I’ll give you anything you want.”
You drop your hand between you, spreading your fingers around the place where his cock is punching up into you before your fingers slide up to brush over the crest of your sex.
You’re soaked. All swollen and slippery and the moment you circle your clit you snap. Bursts of pleasure crashing through your body so violently that your head spins with it - your lungs squeezing achingly tight - before you gush all over him. Your nails sinking in his neck as you cry out.
It makes Din go rigid - a wild snarl tearing through his throat as you yank him brutally into his own release. Hips stuttering and cock swelling in the fever-hot clasp of your cunt before he spurts endless ropes of his spend deep inside you.
**
You’re exhausted - spent and over-stimulated as the burn of the drug dies down to nothing but smoke. Everywhere hurts and you feel like you could sleep for a week. Your eyes are in fact already drooping when Din carefully sets you back on your feet.
His hands are warm clasped around your arms. Holding you up so he can peer at you whilst you’re trying your hardest to sway back into the comfort of his broad chest. “Are you okay?” He murmurs, concerned. “I didn’t go too hard did I?”
You blink up at him stunned, silent for a beat as you recognise the flicker of nervousness in the way he speaks - the way he holds himself. You cradle his cheeks - or where the helmet sits above them - and pull his forehead down to yours. “No, it was perfect.” You tell him and he melts against you ever so slightly.
"There is a slight problem though.” You laugh softly, thumbs absentmindedly stroking over smooth beskar as Din tilts his head for you to continue. "We’re locked out here and there’s no way I can climb that fence. I can barely feel my legs.”
He chuckles at that - the sound of it brushed smug as his fingers stroke down your arms. “Leave it to me, sweet girl.”
He rests you gently back against the fence and your eyes slip closed before popping back open when you hear a loud thrum followed by the short screech of tearing metal - chains hitting the ground with a clinking thud. Your breath stutters as you watch him come back to you with the saber in his hand.
He gleams in it's light. It makes him look even more powerful than he already is and the memory of what he did for you with that weapon - the evidence of it still strewn across the dirt - slams to the forefront of your mind and makes your mouth run dry.
A weak flutter stirring in your belly despite your exhaustion, that he in no way helps you to shut down when he clips it back on his belt and pulls you into him. Swinging you up into the muscular cradle of his arms.
You make a startled noise of surprise and he holds you tighter.
Seals every inch of you against him that he can as he carries you back to the ship - away from the dismembered corpses of those who'd wanted to hurt you - his voice brimming with promise as he whispers your name.
"You’re safe cyar’ika. I’m going to take care of you.”
