We want to know how you’re doing” and it’s like “i can give status reports yes.”

Pin-Lee is like “I still like the idea of you giving an indication you’ve been hit. For example.” she points finger guns. “Bang oh no I have definitely hit you with a projectile. Indicate that somehow.”

Murderbot, with extremely flat inflection which would not immediately seem like a distress call to nearby humans: “Ouch. I Have Been Injured.”

Pin-Lee is like “hm no there’s gotta be some sort of. I don’t know, you don’t have to verbalize if you don’t want to, maybe there’s like an alarm noise you could make? or an “AAA!” sound? Okay let’s try again BANG”

There is a brief delay (less then a second) and then Murderbot responds with damage vocalization option 2.

the "crowley is lucifer" theory is interesting but I like to think in canon it's actually a reverse issue

crowley is the demon agent on earth. when humans have met "the devil", nine times out of ten they've actually met crowley. nobody alive has really met lucifer/satan, he's too busy running hell (and if the S1 finale is any indication, it would be a very... noticeable thing for him to pop up for any reason)

but satan is still really different from how he used to be, so humans don't have much idea of what lucifer actually was like, of course not. and yet he's the subject of all the poets, the tragic villain of the story, and there are all these accounts of this red-haired fallen angel who made stars and light and was the serpent who tempted eve and he's charming and underhanded and tricky, and so what's starts happening is people think crowley is lucifer and imagine lucifer as being like crowley, because lucifer is the main character of the story of the fall

so yeah actually crowley is lucifer, but only because humanity based its ideas about lucifer off of crowley

i need to do my taxes, it's really hanging over my head & i just need to get them out of the way. i was like tonight's the night. calendar blocked. paperwork sorted. mood lighting. but then i needed something in my email in order to do my taxes, which led me to spend the next five hours getting the 4700 unread emails in my inbox down to 273. now it's nearly 1 am and i am too tired to do my taxes. why is society arranged in such a way that makes it possible for this to happen.
