October 16, 2022 - Sunday | Fall Challenges 3/30 + 7/30

Today I felt much better than yesterday (thank u for wishing me well 🥺) i did some painting, took a walk outside, listened to some lectures. The hardest part of having a migraine is that literally everything is off limits: hobbies, work, talking, scrolling thru my phone, listening to lectures even. It makes you really appreciate it afterwards when you can do them again 😭

📚 As a kid I loved fantasy books the most, and later I really was into memoirs, but honestly nowadays I’m only into wholesome fiction (if it has some fantasy than even better) this ends up meaning that I spend more time researching which book to read than actually reading 🥲 Oh! Also historical fiction / historical memoir is my go to genre for books I read with my students so I’ve read quite a few of those too recently and I do love reading those too 💓

✍🏽 Best place to study in the autumn is my old uni’s library… I miss it so much… I basically lived in there for 4 years it was so beautiful and truly gave me the motivation to keep going 🥺 look at her she’s so gorgeous 🍂

we're doing a murder project in ap seminar right now. we have to formulate a plan to successfully kill our teacher and get away with it and we're not graded on whether we're successful because apparently no one in all the years he's done this assignment has managed to do it flawlessly they've either failed to kill him or got caught or both which would be really embarrassing but we do have to present and defend it as best we can while everyone else in the class tries to pick our plan apart. but anyways our group is leaning heavily into poisons and we've raised so many flags on our school's security internet monitoring thing....... one of our group members actually got called down to the office for looking up "how to murder someone with cyanide and get away with it" which to be fair is a really stupid thing to look up not just because it's definitely gonna flag you but also because there's no way you're gonna get anything useful with that. but in general like we're looking up so many poisons it's definitely suspicious. like a solid percent of all my searches have brought up the little card that has the number for suicide prevention up at the top of the results page like relax it's not for me. not at the moment.
