Started watching 9-1-1 bc so many people on my dash like it and firefighters sounded fun

Gotta love that it’s okay for the cop to break the law and complain if she’s held accountable but the teenage car jacker doesn’t get a pass for saving a guy’s life because “The law is the law”

#if you #re gonna have her be that strict with the law have her apply it to herself #i like angela/ bassett as an actress but i hate all the cop stuff they write in #that makes due process seem like a chore and accountability is only good when they say it is #she blatantly arrested someone out of revenge and all she got was desk duty- not even a suspension #and she's complaining about them doing this to her? #i can understand her taking the punishment bc she wants the girl to be held accountable and doesn't want to let her off #but the complaining is only warranted if it's excessive or unjustified #they also more than once have her believe a woman over her male partner only for the woman to be in the wrong #which makes EVERYONE look bad #bc it makes her look bad for making assumptions/not asking for both sides of a story/not taking male victims seriously #and probably implying she's being bad at her job bc she's projcting her marital issues onto these men #but it also makes the WRITERS look bad bc now they come off like they're saying not to believe women bc they're probably crazy #negative post
