Thinking about this post by @pholiabanna and wondering how everyone (including the nebulous “GA”) understood bedroom decor + poster implications for the character’s primary attraction with this for Steve
And this for Billy
And even this for Nance—
—but the implications of this/these (+ the one-way-into-the-closet street sign) for Mike is lost on everyone.
Just. You know. Wondering why that might be

I think the least canon thing in all of LoZ is the map. Every single game it changes so irreparably—"Zora's Domain is out east- oh, sorry, I mean all the way up north. It's east again now! Oh, the volcano? That's in the northeas-WEST. NORTHWEST. No that's snowy area now it's east again. Hyrule Castle is in the middl- nort- west of the country. Can't miss it. The Temple of Time is there- no it isn't, it's about as far from the castle as you can get. The Lost Woods? It's called 'Lost' for a reason, we can't find it. Ever."

It pisses me off so much when people try to hold older queer media to today's standards.
Oh, is The Rocky Horror Picture Show "PrObLeMaTiQuE"????
Homosexuality was only taken out of the DSM 2 years prior to that movie's release. Shut the fuck up.

The thing about Eddie is that he’ll do things on impulse, often in a moment of unearned confidence and optimism. Which is why last year he ordered a gross of Hellfire Club teeshirts. One, he thought the word gross was both funny and appropriate, and two, he was sure at the time that the club would really catch on and grow like wildfire, so he’d need a lot. Besides, they were cheaper by the dozen.
Which is why he still has over a hundred shirts in cardboard boxes under his bed. Steve found them when he was searching for the lip balm stick he dropped on the floor when Eddie tackled him just for fun, and Eddie had to explain, and he felt sort of foolish about it.
“But they don’t all go to waste,” he said quickly. “I’ve got so many I can wear one to school every day. Promoting the club.”
“Oh thank God,” said Steve. “It wasn’t the same one all the time. I used to think you must smell so bad, if you never washed it.”
“I guess at least you were thinking about me,” Eddie said, slightly miffed.
“You were like a cartoon character always in the same outfit,” Steve mused, with a look of fond reminiscence.
“All that time I was suppressing my raging crush on you, and you were thinking I was like a smelly cartoon character?”
“A cute smelly cartoon character,” Steve assured him. “I always noticed you were cute. I just didn’t have the guts to do anything about it back then. And hey! I can help promote your club now.” He pulled his polo shirt off over his head, causing a sudden bump in Eddie’s heart rate, then pulled on a Hellfire shirt. “There we go,” he said, tugging it down and pushing a hand through his rumpled hair to restore it to its former glory. “How’s it look?”
Eddie tackled him again, but with lips and tongue this time.

I guess you could say Wally has the eye of the tiger- (sorrynotsorry)
So uh, It is done! I wanted to thank you and other Welcome Home fan artists to be frank. It made me want to create fanart as well but I just recently came out of a 4 year art block and the only thing that really stuck was abstract drawing, which I still love, but it doesn't help anatomy-wise. So thank you, A LOT (and other artists) for getting me into drawing anatomy again!

I thrash around like those inflatable tube men every time I remember that Neil literally just wanted to act, no matter if he had his parents permission or not. Possibly the most harmless way a teenage boy could rebel, and it was successfully twisted into a tale of obsession, and deception, and malicious defiance. So successfully, in fact, that I see some people who watched the movie call it that. It was just acting.

literally cannot stop thinking about the foxes growing up to be helpful adults especially the monsters because like with the upperclassmen and even with nicky its slightly more expected as compared to the twinyards, kevin and neil
not by my own definition but by the perception people have of them in canon - the selfish, hotheaded or largely indifferent to everyone except their own affairs type of people
but aaron chose to become a doctor and i think of him seeing mothers give up their kids at birth and of people constantly loving and losing and how possible it is for him to be known as a kind doctor - someone who would sit with a man who lost his wife or a mother who's lost her child, someone who would do coffee runs for his colleagues and give flowers to recovering patients (and maybe katelyn bought them the first time but he could repeat the gesture, yknow? he's got a good learning curve)
im thinking of kevin making sure that a portion of his hefty income goes to actual genuine charities and for work against human trafficking and child abuse because what's he going to do with this much money? particularly after amalia is born he would be so much more careful if he ever sees kids or teenagers in parking lots and senses some imminent danger
not just that but kevin keeping an eye out for his fans or any signing events he has where he sees something unfair happen and steps in or asks security to step in immediately i feel like for him its still difficult to put himself on the forefront of a threatening situation unlike andreil but he does his best to try and to listen to the kids that come and rant to him about exy to entertain them with his genuine smiles
idk just the idea of the monsters being so very human and recognizing humanity in others is something that can be so personal
