the other thing I’ve learned from falling down a “Karen TikTok” rabbit hole is twofold:

1. some people are serious dicks to skateboarders

2. some skateboarders are serious dicks to random bystanders around them, and then come over all indignant when the bystanders get understandably upset

#sure if you're not doing anything around anyone else or anything that might be dangerous to others it's fine #and nobody should get violent on teens for skateboarding obviously #but if you try to do a flip in a public place and almost hit someone? #yeah! he might be A Little Bit Peeved! #also trick skating in a public parking garage that's actively in use is probably -1000 points in the Good Place universe #just saying
