#and no that doesn't make it okay to racebend him for a fictional character

Lily to me seems to the epitome of the phase: The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
Like Lilly yells at people for making inappropriate MLP comics but it is somehow okay for her to write Poke Madhouse, and possibly other problematic fan fictions like Stockholm and more (assuming she did do that, it is possible that she didn’t.)?
Another example is that she complains that white characters are getting to much attention from the fandom ( a valid complaint). However, she writes a StarWars fanfic that has OC of color, but then pushes the canonical characters of color to the side to get together with a white character and defeating another white character . Should that also count as white characters getting more attention then characters of color? Lily could have used Rose as the love interest instead of Rey for example. Or she could have used Finn as main character too and rule 64 him.
Lily also did the same thing in the Owlhouse with Hunter drawing attention to him instead of drawing attention to Luz.
Does Lily think she is exempt from the rules she puts on her fandoms?
it's a fact that she wrote stockholm. there's multiple archive posts from her blog where she extensively talks about them and even a video where she says "i can't do (a video) on stockholm, i wrote that one." there's a lot more evidence that she did wrote it all and the only thing we have to think she didn't is LO's words now, which doesn't hold any weight with how frequently she has lied and been caught in lies. but you're right, she absolutely thinks that she's exempt of any of the standards that she puts on everyone else, not just in fandom but everything. she's very much aware of this, that's why you see her defending her own hypocresy as something that should never change the fact that she's right, not even when she's actually wrong. the problem of being a hypocrite is that it makes everything you say lose all of it's importance. how much racism there could actually be on TOH fandom when LO doesn't bother to set any example by recommending more fanwork with racebending version of the characters or more works by POC creators? is it really an issue at all if she's not very concerned to do anything about it, except to say that there it is? think of it as a politician who says there is a drought from a pool. at least some people are going to ask themselves if the drought matters at all since it doesn't affect this politician, while other people are going to feel like they can just don't care about the drought either because if the politician doesn't why should they? seeing this doesn't really encourages you to save water at all, does it? the problem of having a platform is that by giving yourself a pass to do whatever you want, you're implicitely giving it to your audience too.
