Straight up experimenting with this one XD

In my mind, Quinlan is making the argument for Obi-Wan to stop studying so much. To take a much-needed break before he looks any more like an overworked mess. The quickest way to do this was acting a fool and singing loud enough that even if Obi-Wan could focus again, he’d never be able to hear himself think. So might as well humor Quinlan for at least a moment.

Which swiftly turns into a wonderful night of karaoke and snacks, and an otherwise well-earned moment to breathe.
