Crowley and Aziraphale perfectly represent the good and evil in humans.
Neither of them are completely good or bad, they do what they believe is right and they follow their own moral codes.
Heaven and hell only care for themselves, what benefits their sides. They don’t care for humanity or for others.
Aziraphale and Crowley care so much for humanity, they’ve watched it grown and change through out the years and they’ve fallen in love with it.
They fight against their own ‘sides’ because they’re fighting for what they believe in.
They follow their ‘sides’ as much as they can but in the end they go against them.
Crowley does what he can to please hell while still making sure no one gets truly hurt.
Aziraphale does what he can to please heaven while still lying to them.
Crowley and Aziraphale work together for years despite the fact that they’re supposed to be enemies.
They fight with each other to save humanity and protect each other constantly.
They both follow their own moral codes rather than following heaven or hell.
Crowley fell because he got too curious and asked too many questions.
While Aziraphale never falls he’s pushed away from the other angels and looked down on because he cares. He cares for humans and for humanity.
They both perfectly represent the good and evil in humans because neither of them are completely good or evil. They both have a little of each inside them the only difference is what ‘side’ they’re deemed to be on.

fun discovery from today's internet rabbit hole:
the first lesbian magazine published in the US, Vice Versa (1947-48), was entirely hand-typed by one Edythe Eyde (better known by her pen name Lisa Ben - yes, that IS an anagram for lesbian). she worked as a secretary with a ton of spare time on her hands, and her boss would tell her he didn't care what she was doing so long as she "looked busy"... so she decided to use her free time to type out copies of a home-made periodical for lesbians, writing most of the content - editorials, book/film reviews, poetry, short stories, and more - herself!
overall, the magazine ran for 9 issues, 16 hand-typed copies of which lisa would mail to friends (well, until one of them advised her she could be arrested for sending "obscene" materials) and distribute at lesbian bars :)
