Jason Todd is stealing the tires off of the Batmobile, when a man walks up on him doing it.
The man stares at him, nods, and just says "I'll keep a look out, man, go go go!"
So Jason does, and he gets all four tires with the man's help.
The man introduces himself as Danny Foley, and asks Jason if he wants to go get some burgers.
Danny, meanwhile, has decided that yes. This is the child he will adopt. He just has to convince the kid of that.
Batman has to call in Alfred to bring around his backup vehicle with spare tires, and little Timmy gets some wonderful shots of Batman having to replace his own tires.

Dc x dp idea 95
Danny wasn’t thrilled with the whole ghost king bs. So he just doesn’t do it. The realm was just fine without pariah. Someone else can deal with the paperwork.
The biggest problem tho. The summonings.
No one will teach him how to say no to them. All wanting him to do his duty. He is barely passing his human classes. He refuses king lessons. He’ll take the summons over kingly duties.
Besides. Jazz has a solution.
At all times he is awake, thankfully summons don’t happen when he is asleep. A friend or Jazz is with him.
Armed with the Fenton anti-creep stick or another weapon. Ready to step over the summons circle smack down the cultist here and there and break the summoning circle. Then Danny just opens a portal and they dip.
John on the other hand is more stressed then normal. For some reason the new ghost king is letting any body summon him. Hell. They got reports that a slumber party summoned him.
Rather then ignore the summons. The new king has one of three teenagers deal with the problem. A goth armed with a wrist laser and brass knuckles, a guy with apparently a pda, and then the orange haired one with a flipping bat.
Now he had to summon the king and figure out what’s up.

I love Terry Pratchett and the Discworld series because fat and ugly women are allowed to be loved for their features rather than in spite of them which is just so refreshing for once

You know I think you guys might be on to something when you call Sam woman coded cause - genuinely - how do you, as writers of a show, be so misogynistic as to not include any female characters asides from damsels and hookups (specifically referring to the early seasons), and yet need so desperately to have a outlet for macho masculine patriarchy power dynamics that you have an adult male character experience misogyny?? How do you mess up that badly??
It's like, although they thought that putting female characters in the narrative other than to exist as sexy distressed lamps wouldn't appeal to the true blooded 2000s American audience. But yet it was completely necessary for there to be a bottom rung in the masculinity pyramid because - well how else can we as a society function!!
Anyway, ik reading too far into things is my special talent, and in most circumstances all of this stuff is just a joke in the show but wow they really had Dean poking fun of any of Sam's characteristics that don't fit into this Hyper True Blooded American Masculinity ideology as a butt of jokes for 15 years. The fact that he has longer hair, that he cares about his hair, that he's tidy, that he likes salads and isn't a big meat eater, that he's sympathetic, that he's a bitch. And of course these are just silly little jabs that Dean makes in sibling-like fashion but like wow 15 years. Damn.
And of course it's not only this that leads to the rather odd interpretation of a woman-coded Sam, but also the way he is treated directly by the narrative. Like, for example, being the family's possession, rather than an equal member. Dean has seen it as his job to look out for his little brother since he pulled him from the fire and the wellbeing of this infant was thrown onto his shoulders at age 4, and this has created a lot of ricocheting effects on both of them. This isn't to say that Dean doesn't love, care, respect, and value Sam, but it does mean that sometimes he treats him like a possession rather than a person. He makes a lot of crazy decisions in the show that he justifies as being for Sam's own good, even if it goes directly against Sam's wishes. After Sam leaves a note to Dean telling him he's going out for a bit to handle a case, Dean weasels his way in, not trusting him to handle it due to the mental issues Sam is facing at the time, and kills Amy, despite Sam begging him not to. Even though Dean knows Sam would never consent to an angle possessing him, he tricks him into it anyway. He does these things, and many others because he believes that he is acting in Sam's best interests, totally disregarding the fact that Sam has capacity to make judgements and handle the consequences himself, even going so far as to oppose what he directly knows or Sam tells him he wants.
Then of course there is the fact that the fear integral to his character - a loss of autonomy (bodily autonomy, but also autonomy to make his own decisions about his future, to be good, to be pure and faithful), is an explicitly feminine one. Then there is the strong subtext in his story of SA themes, I think in s4 a demon even refers to Sam as a 'whore' or that he's 'whoring it up' (with respect to Ruby), and the interesting prevalent idea of Sam questioning or going against the ideals/ideology of the masculine figure head (which would be Dean I guess) and getting punished for it. Sam suggests that maybe they take a more humanitarian approach with the cow blood drinking vampires in s2 and Dean punches him, Sam tries to get him to talk about their Dad and Dean punches him, Sam tries to get him to talk about Lisa and Ben and Dean punches him, Sam gets caught simply using his abilities and Dean punches him - twice. I think you get the picture.
Anyway. This post comes off as rather critical of Dean, which wasn't really my intention. It's more sort of a broader criticism of the rampant sexism that had its part in shaping the show - being one to come out of the early 2000s. Ideas such as this - you could really go on for hours as its fascinating how ideological frameworks are presented certain ways in media - and the way masculine and feminine social dynamics, to list only one, is presented in supernatural is definitely a can of worms.

Hitting it off (dp x dc)
I've just started watching the 1975 tv show Wonder Woman, so have a thing:) Diana has just started being Wonder Woman in this.
"I hate this stupid decade and I hate time-travel," Tucker muttered as they snuck around the military warehouse.
"I'll be sure to pass on your dissatisfaction to Vlad," Sam murmured back dryly. "Just, you know, once we stop him from destroying the future as we know it."
"What is his plan, again?" Tucker said as he ducked out of sight of the guards.
"Something about him wanting to found the company that will invent the candies that Danny's mom likes so she'll fall in love with him or some insane shit like that." Sam chanced a look around the corner.
"How is he getting crazier every time, seriously?" Tucker groaned.
"Get ready," Sam said, tapping her friend on the shoulder. "They're about to switch off."
"Why are we doing the sneaking around, when we know a guy who can literally turn invisible?" Tucker muttered.
"Did you want to deal Vlad?"
Tucker's answering grimace was answer enough. They fell silent just in time for two soldiers to come in and talk to the two that were previously there. As they got to talking, Sam and Tucker made a dash for the back of the warehouses, staying low to the ground in an effort not to be seen.
They reached the warehouse successfully without being seen though Tucker was wheezing and leaning heavily on the metal structure they were hiding behind.
"Just... need... a second," Tucker panted out as Sam looked around to make sure they hadn't been spotted.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" A voice came from beside them. Sam had to press a hand on Tucker's mouth to muffle his shriek as she turned towards the sound. She was faced with a woman wearing a red, white and blue costume with bracelets on her wrists and a lasso(?) attached to her hip.
"Who are you?" Sam shot back in an attempt to stall.
"My name is Wonder Woman," the woman said. "I am a superhero."
Tucker frowned, now fully recovered from the mini heart attack he'd experienced. "If you're a superhero, why are you sneaking around instead of asking for access, then?"
"I do not like doing paperwork," Wonder Woman answered solemnly.
Sam looked at her blankly, trying to figure out if the woman was joking or not.
"Fair enough," Tucker answered at her side with a nod.
"Now," Wonder Woman started. "Tell me who you are and what is your aim here."
"Well I'm Tucker," the teen started with a hand on his chest before he moved it to indicate his friend. "And this is Sam. We're..."
"We've received a tip that there would be an assassination attempt on Private Essex," Sam took over smoothly. "We were sent to prevent it from happening without causing a commotion."
"I see," Wonder Woman stated earnestly. "That is a worthy goal. I shall do my best to assist you, once I take down the spies."
"Spies?" Tucker asked with an excited gleam in his eyes.
"Yes," the woman said. "Our intelligence says that spies have infiltrated the army. Luckily, we managed to discover that they will be meeting in this warehouse right now to exchange secret documents."
"Why not combine our efforts and help each other with our mission," Tucker offered.
"Very well," Wonder Woman agreed.
Sam nodded before getting the hard-won blueprints of the warehouse out of her bag and flattening it on the ground.
"I have a plan," Sam started, "First, Tucker and I will sneak through the-"
Wonder Woman hadn't even let her finish before she kicked the door off its handles and sent it crashing to the floor with a yell of "Stop right there!"
"Or, we could do that," Sam deadpanned as every head inside the warehouse swivelled towards them. She allowed herself a sigh. "Let's go." Sam grabbed Tucker and hauled them both after Wonder Woman who was carving a path through the soldiers and leaving carnage in her wake. Tucker turned to her and managed to yell in her ear while continuing walking.
"I take it back, Sam! This is great!"

More Winchester vs Batfam thoughts
Dick and Dean bonding over being inhumanly beautiful people who were sexualized from an early age and using their sexual nature as a shield.
Sam and Jason bonding over feeling like they'll never be as good as their big brothers.
Sam and Jason bonding over love of literature.
Dean and Jason being total nerds about guns and Jason feeling so vindicated about his gun stance.
Dick talking to Sam about how everyone deserves a chance to reform and that resonating with Sam in a way that frightens him.
The four of them bonding over a super overprotective parent that also was cool with them being child soldiers.
All four of them bonding over living nomadically (or homelessly) in their younger years, and rheir various experiences with poverty (Sam and Dean totally make fun of the other two for becoming rich boys.)
Endless hours of morality debates that absolutely end up with someone with a broken nose.
Giving each other lock picking tips
Dick and Sam bonding over being The Smart Kids that then get shown up by a computer super genius (Tim and Charlie)
Winchesters making fun of the bat boys for being citykids, batboys mocking the Winchesters for being small town hicks.
All of them bonding over their love of cool cars (Sam acts like he doesn't care, but 100% has Opinions.)
Sam and Jason bonding over college dreams
Sam and Dick bond over being mathletes (nerds!)
Dick and Dean bond over thinking school overall was a waste of time.
Dick and Dean bond over having to take care of their dads when they were young.
Dick and Sam bonding over their desperate desire to be good but also harboring a lot of deep anger.
Jason and Dean not used to having to compete for being the funniest person in the room.
Jason and Dean bonding over their desire to protect young kids.
Dick and Dean commiserate in being the older, but shorter, brothers.
The four of them trying to compete in a trivia game. It does not go well. No one has a good time.
Dean: wait, so you two aren't real brothers?
Jason: I will shoot you in the face.
Dean: that's not what I meant!

“i mean, guys like us, we're not exactly the type of people they write about in history books, you know? but the people we saved, they're our legacy, and they'll remember us, and we'll eventually fade away, too. that's fine, because we left the world better than we found it.”

Which is why TO ME the finale allowing Sam the chance to continue life outside of hunting is a victory and also such an interesting choice considering how college (and “normal” generally) was treated in universe. Like I think the thinking in giving Sam that was like a reward, you know? For everything he went through prior, getting what he had wanted from the start? But since going to college had been so uncritically demonized (lol) from the start, what does it mean when he’s given a normal life as a reward? That its a positive thing? That since Dean is dead, it’s no longer a betrayal? The implications in all that are just astounding
