Despite how much he wanted her blood physically, he could only bring himself to drink a few mouthfuls. It must have been a good call though because when he pulled away, she slumped a little against his shoulders, her breathing shallow. She must not have healed entirely from the shambling mound. He had had a suspicion that she was shouldering through it, but seeing her now only confirmed it. He sighed, closing his eyes for a moment as he tucked his chin carefully over her head. “Stay for the night.”

Immediately, he could feel her stiffen in his arms as she tried to withdraw. But Astarion held her against him carefully. Somehow, he was sure if she saw his expression, she would see right through him. What exactly she would see, he wasn’t sure — that this was a ploy? Or that he genuinely wanted her to stay? “Astarion,” she began softly into the material of his shirt. He was surprised but pleased that she stopped trying to pull away. “You don’t owe me anything—”

“I know,” he said firmly, fingers tightening around her shoulders. “I know that I don’t.”

A moment of silence. He could practically hear her thinking. “You don’t have to force yourself—”

“I’m not,” he sniffed in disdain. “Do you think I would ever force myself to do something I don’t want to do?” That was a lie.

“You want me to stay tonight?” She asked uncertainly. 

“Yes.” That was not a lie. He could hear her heart speed up, but for a moment, he wasn’t sure if it was hers or if his had started beating again from her blood. Astarion swallowed thickly, beginning to pull back at her silence. 

“Okay,” she breathed out, breath warm against his collarbone.

Astarion straightened against her, a bit in disbelief. He couldn’t believe his luck. The first time he had asked her, she had rather clumsily skirted around the topic of sleeping together. “Okay?” He parroted, pulling back to look at her fully now. Despite the fact that he had just taken some of her blood, her cheeks were flushed.

“Er, shall I go get changed then?” She asked, clasping her hands together. The motion was so uncharacteristically awkward of her that had Astarion not been so focused on trying to process the turn of events, he would’ve sought to sear the endearing image in his mind. Instead though, he sat blankly as she hastily rose to her feet. She nearly fled his tent in two paces, but at the tent flap, she hesitated, turning to offer him an impossibly tiny smile so bright and earnest that Astarion felt something in his chest lurch as he watched her dumbly. He didn’t know — nor did he want to know — if it was guilt or some sick form of joy. Both feelings were equally foreign to him now. “I’ll be back in a moment.”

Astarion wasn’t sure how much time had passed as he sat still on the cushion. Part of him leapt at the success of his plan. Though it had taken him longer than he had anticipated, he felt a little smug that he finally succeeded in seducing her. The other part of him felt a stab of shame and apprehension. Before he could dwell on it, he swallowed back the sense of regret rising in his throat and forced himself to his feet. He had done worse before — at least this time, it was on his own volition. Right, this was his decision. It was his plan, and it was working. There was no reason to feel regret, he told himself.

Astarion hastily tucked his empty jars into the corner and spread out his bedroll. He rearranged his pillow and neatly spread his blanket across the bedroll. He dabbed the essence perfume he had stolen from the vendor around his neck. And then he sat down and waited, staring at his tent critically. Would candles be too much? 

“Astarion?” She called softly from outside of his tent. 

Astarion carded a hand through his hair with one hand and twisting open the first button of his shirt with the other. “Come in, darling,” he said, trying for a low tone, though it came out sharper than he would’ve liked.

When she entered the tent again, Astarion took note of her plain sleeping tunic. More importantly, he noticed that she had pulled her hair from its normal braid, and it fell down her back in hastily brushed waves. He wanted to detangle it for her. He shook the thought from his head, instead forcing a light smile on his face. “Will you stand there all night?”

“Right,” she said, her gaze darting from him to the bedroll as she took a step closer. “Er, which side do you prefer?”

“I’m happy in any position,” he purred instantly, but the innuendo seemed to fly over her head as she knelt down next to him slowly. Immediately, he shifted over to make room for her. He watched her settle down next to him, careful to leave a gap between them. With her ki control and stillness of mind training, Astarion knew that she had far more of a reign on her body than others, so when he realized he could hear her heart thumping erratically, pleasure wormed its way into his chest. So she did want him — the thought sent a thrill of satisfaction through him. He turned to look at her with half-lidded eyes as he felt the familiar cold, mechanical feeling begin to desensitize him as his mind began to close in on itself.

“Well,” the monk said, pulling his blanket to her chin. “Good night.”

He was pulled back into the moment immediately. 

“Good night?” Astarion spluttered, propping himself up on his elbows so he could properly stare at her in shock.

She stared back at him, blinking at him owlishly. “Yes?”

“You’re just— just going to sleep?” He demanded. “I— You— I thought we’d— Why else would you agree to stay?”

Immediately, her cheeks darkened, though her expression remained steadfastly sober. “I thought we would just sleep together.”

“Yes,” he said dryly, looking to the sky for patience. He closed his eyes for a moment, feeling wrong-footed. “Sleep together.”

1) Favourite movies

Saltburn - cinematography is stunning and the symbolic metaphors… wow. It really is easy to edit because the movie is just so damn stunning and has extremely powerful and beautiful shots.

The dark and twisted and sexy themes are right up my alley and I loved the ambiguity of Oliver as a character. He was the Minotaur of the labyrinth and he became king of the castle that placed him there. And we never saw it coming, or at least Felix’s family didn’t.

But Saltburn was always waiting for him, it never belonged to that family anyways. It was always just waiting for its next host.

My favourite vampire movie that doesn’t have any supernatural elements to it. But you could feel the vampire lurking in the shadows, around every corner once he entered Saltburn. He killed all of the other hosts, drank their blood until they run dry.

And it finally belonged to him.

Midsommar - this movie lulls you in with a sense of safety and you fall right into the pit filled with a glowing light that never goes away like the sun in Midsommar.

You feel happy for her in the end, she’s smiling right? You feel like his boyfriend deserved his fate in the end.

Sadly, she’s gone from one manipulator to another. But at least she’s happy. Girl power!1!

Rise of the Guardians - this story takes you away and makes you feel like a kid again when watching. It makes you recall times in your childhood when you wished that Jack Frost could come and give your town a fresh layer of snow so that you could have a snow day off from school. Magic and fantasy will never be lost in my heart, especially when I’m watching this movie <3

(Also always had a crush on Jack Frost tbh)

How to Train your Dragon- feeling like you don’t belong? Like the black sheep of the family ?and then creating a whole new way of living that makes your lives easier? It’s giving neurodivergent people who struggle to survive in a world not built for them, so they create their own worlds or fix things in the one that we have to make it easier for everyone, but especially those with disabilities.

That might just be me though, and the dragons are super cool! I really wish I could ride a dragon. I remember having dreams of riding a white dragon in the sky after I watched the movie when I was younger. I also wish I could have a family like Hiccup and Astrid, to find somewhere that I feel like I belong. I guess I am going to have to create that space, or hopefully find it soon.

Little women - Jo March and this movie has my whole heart and inspired me to write and play and to care about my interests and to look at the world through the lens of a child and have fun whenever I can. I love stepping into this world and to live in the fantasy of what creativity can bring.

Mamma Mia - this movie is my childhood. It’s what started my dreams of travel and having a beautiful relationship with friends and to find the loves of my life. The setting in Greece is stunning, and it makes me yearn to see the blue azure waters in person one day. To see the architecture, to walk among all of the footsteps that make its way across the roads made of stone. I love the soundtrack and no offence to ABBA, I only listen to the Mama Mia version of their songs because the voices from characters in the movies remind me of how much fun they had. I want to have my wedding there, right where Sophie did. I want the dance parties and the breaking out into song and the raunchiness and fun vibes they had. Please send these good vibes to me, universe.

Mamma Mia here we go again - I love watching Donna fall in love with each man, and the music doesn’t hurt either. It’s just an overall fun time, and to see the main trio that I fell in love with as their younger selves and seeing more of that dynamic is so so fun. Also this movie is just so wistful for me and makes me wish I could live in the 70s. The outfits in this movie are so much fun too, and I will be taking inspiration on my next rewatch and go shopping soon.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire - very gay, beautiful striking movie that makes me feel things I can’t put into words. Heartbreaking and yearning that is far too relatable. Love and heartbreak, especially sapphic heartbreak is history repeating itself. I wish to love as strongly and as madly as they do. But please don’t give me the heartbreak, please let me stay with the lover I am given.

La La Land - a beautiful soundtrack, this made me fall back in love with music and lighting design and colour and the movies. I need to create or be in movies as soon as I can. This movie showed the both negative and positive sides of that world, but I still crave to be apart of that world. I need to live and breathe in it. I need to be an actor. Please, it’s all I’ve ever dreamed of when I was younger. I also need to be a musician, to create songs and compose lyrics that will bring others to tears and create an impact through my music like music does to me. I hope the universe is on my side with this one, I think I wouldn’t be able to breathe if I never ended up doing what I wanted. I would never be able to live without music and performance.

my games of the year!!

hey yall!! with the year coming to a close i wanted to list my top 5 favorite games that i played this year!

5. honkai star rail - i was really conflicted abt putting a gacha game on here, especially since i don't even play it much anymore but tbh the belobog arc was just too good not to put it here. maybe the next planet will bring me back in but i didn't really like the luofu at all. but the time i spent on the herta space center and belobog were so enjoyable that i rlly feel like it deserves this spot.

4. octopath traveler 2 - this came out this year?? jfc this has been a long year. but yeah this game is really good!! i would absolutely die for agnea. i feel like in just about every area this game was a huge step up from octopath 1, i found every character really enjoyable and i genuinely cried multiple times during castti's story (malaya.... she loved her) and in general just loved nearly every story, and the endgame and how the characters from each route tied in was so cool. i think there's still some qol needed in certain areas and that's why this is only fourth but overall very good game i recommend. also ochette is super fun to play, love beastmaster classes sm

3. fire emblem engage - sort of the opposite of octopath honestly, the story was pretty awful in this game and the characters were all very one note but the game is just so gorgeous to look at and so so much fun. what can i say, i like fire emblem dfkdfskdkdsf and while the characters and story are completely camp i found it charming in it's simplicity at times, lapis and citrinne especially were really endearing characters to me. this certainly isn't my favorite fe game bc i admittedly prefer story/character heavy ones like 3h but i still found it to be a really enjoyable experience with lots of fun customization! i hope they take a lot of what was in engage and put that into future games bc i rlly need more fe games where everyone has cute casual outfits like that and you can dress everyone up all silly. this game is just pure silly fun.

2. cassette beasts - so this one took me by surprise. this game is an absolute GEM and if you like pokemon at all you seriously owe yourself to play this!! it takes everything i love about pokemon and just brings it to a whole new level. the story, the characters, even the designs for the beasts are all so peak. the way types interact with each other is so fun and something i've never seen before in this genre. this is the type of game i absolutely see myself replaying every year just to try out new beasts and the randomizer mode and stuff!! ALSO THE WAY YOU CAN REMOVE THE MOVES AND PUT THEM ON OTHER BEASTS?? god. this game is everything i WISH pokemon was, and if it were any other year it probably would have been my goty. but..

baldur's gate 3 - yeah. i mean, do i even need to say anything on this one?? a strong demon lady held me in her strong arms and kissed me. we ate spaghetti together. we went to hell and fought demons together. this game is a lesbian love story and i- oh wait i probably shouldn't just talk about karlach for this whole section lol. really though, bg3 is just one of those games that hits different, there is SO much to do in this game and not a single moment of it isn't filled with fun. exploring the world was so fun, whenever i discovered secrets and stuff it felt amazing, there's just such a wonderful feeling of mystery in this world. there's so many ways every interaction can go, the story is amazing, the characters are amazing, the multiplayer is amazing. this whole game just fucks hard, and i think it's not only my game of the year but possibly my game of the decade. i think if this game's mod support gets better then we could be looking at a stardew valley situation where fans keep the game alive FOREVER by adding all sorts of cool stuff over the years. i can't wait to see what gets added as time goes on! anyways back to karlach so yeah i wanna cuddle with her and go on a pizza date and be pinned against the

honestly the cr fandom like terrifies me (huge amnt of misogyny and general weirdness ive noticed unfortunately) so im a little nervous abt like posting abt it. BUT. i recently finished episode 53 of c2, watched thru like. some of c1? a good chunk of it fs. i definitely enjoy c2 much more tho, i think it's just overall more put together and enjoyable to watch, plus the characters r much more likable to me personally. in c1 i didnt feel like. a huge CONNECTION with any of the characters. didnt get blorbo induced moments. but all the c2 characters have been SO fun for me.... it's hard to pick a favorite honestly. (major spoilers for c2 e26) i really wish molly had lived tho :/ i love cad but i really really wanted to see where molly's story was going. im aware they do more with it later but ugh i wanted to see him go thru all this shit with them bro ......... anyways i dont like that fjord is faking his accent only because i really like travis doing that voice and i dont want it to go away LMAO. big fan of beau and rlly interested in seeing where her shit is going, i think she's more enjoyable for me personally than keyleth was (tho i do love her too) tbh. caleb and nott................. i could write paragraphs im not even gonna get into that rn they drive me bananas bonkers. i love that they're creeps they're weirdos they don't belong. plus the sort of mother/son thing is such an interesting take on that particular type of relationship imo, im glad they started with that. the way their backstories intertwine and connect and they had no idea for such a long time ............... mein gott. also jester is a really fun character and im SUPER interested in her shit w the traveler??? i wanna see what thats all abt. yasha .......... mm. idk. i dont care abt her much ngl. ashley just isnt there enough for me to really get invested; she's basically just an npc at this point. and even when ashley is there (and this may be an unpopular opinion idk) she just never gets as involved as the other folks it seems, likely bc she's way out of practice n not entirely sure what all's happened since the last time she was around. it's a shame bc i think she could be really interesting. anyways those r my thoughts

A rlly random concept that hit me out of nowhere: 

Imagine, like, a Percy Jackson-ish AU for Genshin. Where instead of greek gods and demigods, you have the Archons and vision holders. So there’s just, like, this sort of safe haven where Vision holders just sorta live and thrive together without regular people knowing they exist, you know? You’ve got Venti/Barbatos, the Anemo Archon who watches over the place and cares for the vision holders, accompanied by Zhongli/Morax, the Geo Archon who has left his extensive history wrought with war to instead live a quieter life. There are both adult and non-adult vision holders who live in this safe haven, though there are a few vision holders who have left it to live among the regular people without visions. 

And imagine, right, that one of those people is Ningguang, a CEO of a company, and your boss. You’re her PA, and tbh she’s really cool, if a bit work-driven, and there’s this really cool lady with black hair and an eye patch that visits her every now and then whose name you haven’t learned yet, but you know the two hang out and are good friends. You’ve wave to her a couple times, and she always waves back. 

So, like, in this scenario you’d have aspects of the traveller, I guess, but I don’t intend for the reader to actually be Lumine or Aether–– I’m just using their abilities as a sort of template aksjndas ANyway, so you, the reader, have always had an affinity for predicting the wind and the weather–– it’s nothing much tbh, just a sort of affinity you’ve picked up. Though you can only remember being able to do this after your family had once visited an old statue once while you were touring the countryside.

Now obvs after working with you for some time, Ningguang would probably notice that you can do these small Anemo-related things, and she’d confront you about it, thinking you may be a vision holder. However, she’s p surprised when you give her the run-down and she discovers that you know practically nothing about Archons and visions, though you seem to be able to control Anemo to a limited extent. So she sends word home, and Zhongli and Venti ask to meet you. When you eventually do meet, you learn that you can sort of resonate with either Archon at will, and that doing so grants you vision-like powers, but without the physical Vision. Since this is a peculiar case, they encourage you to stay with them in the safe haven, since there are risks to you walking around unguarded and on your own in the normal world, especially now that word may have gotten out about a visionless element-wielder. 

And, I mean, their reasoning makes sense, right? Plus, when you’re around competent vision-holders, they could help you master your powers. So you agree to stay in the safe haven, where you meet new people and build your new life.

I,,, don’t really know where I’m going with this (surprise surprise) but ik that If i do make this, I want to make it a sort of choose your own story type? Nothing too long–– unlikely for each route to have too many chapters or too much plot and drama, since I wanna mainly focus this around the romance and fluff aspect of it. 

There are a few interesting characters that you would be able to get to know better and maybe even form a romance with in the story, each with their own routes,, 👀 These were a few who I had in mind:

Xiao, the solitary adeptus protector, who doesn’t really interact with anyone aside from ensuring their safety, and who may be a bit hard to approach at first, btu is actually relatively easy to get along with over time.

Diluc, another vision holder who went back out into the human world, and who runs the Dawn Winery. After hearing about your story, he offers to try and convince the Archons to let you back out into the human world, as long as he’s there to protect you.

Kazuha, a wanderer who occasionally visits as a break from his travels. His route would be a bit more slow-burn than the other two, since, as a traveller, your first few meetings would have time gaps between them, but the more you two get to know each other, his visits lengthen and become more frequent.

Beidou, Ningguang’s friend who easily recognized you when you began building a new life. She takes you for the occasional trip to a beach/lake, where you two ride a boat and just pass time. She’s super supportive of you, and she helps a ton when it comes to your new start.

Dainsleif, the mysterious stranger who you meet in the woods farther away from where the vision-holders stay. He seems to have a grudge against the Archons, but for some reason you don’t feel in danger when you’re around him. He seems to be rather fond of you, too, but there’s something about him that... Well, you just can’t put your finger on it.

I also wanna do some other characters like Ganyu, Childe, Kaeya, maybe even Gorou and Tohma if I can. akjsnda Idk i just can’t currently think about their roles in this kind of universe, but if I ever actually get around to doing it, I’m sure it would be fun knasjkd

Hq Characters and how they play Genshin Impact!

Love letter 💌: omg hey! So I’ve been obsessed with genshin impact and aswell haikyu so my sexy small brain though ‘what if the hq character played genshin impact?’ And here we are!

˚ He plays sometimes, mostly with the other third years, he does play with the team tho!

˚ He probably plays it in his free time and if he feels like it

˚ Does he have a strategy? He kinda just plays it, really good on maining on a certain character 🥴🥴 (dw I’ll share it later HAHHSH—)

˚ Is he good? Yeah I like to think so! since he doesn’t play often he doesn’t really practice or grind but If he tried he could be a really powerful player.

˚ He does try to do his daily commissions but he mostly forgets it 🧍(someone has to remind him hehe, he’ll be like “oh shoot yeah— give me a minute” but he won’t play it when he’s practicing volleyball or doing hw or smt)

˚ A lot of Mora and Primogems— he knows how to wish but he just doesn’t do it often LMAO—

˚ One time he got a five star character on his first wish and asked ‘are they good?’

˚ Never has spent money on the game no, he was tempted but he’s like nah.

˚ I feel like he would have Jean and main her well.

˚ Is he good tho? Hmm that’s up to you really!

fiveya obvs i ship this since this is 90% of my tua drawings lol

1. ill wait ill wait (to be the one) by georgiestauffenberg made me ship it cause holy fuck dude. I dont know if i ship them romantically when i saw them onscreen cause first of all, age difference is kinda weird lmao. Second, they dont rlly interact much outside literally the first couple of eps. But he was so soft for her, and i felt like they had so much unexplored history.

so i looked at fanfics cause i was wondering if ppl still ship it, then i liked the description of this one so i gave it a go.

Basically the premise is that vanya dates a much older man who seems to know a lot about her. And it was amazingly in character and just provided their characters some depth that u wouldnt find outside of a romantic relationship between them. (The implication of five pining while she doesnt know who he is, their missed chances when he time travelled, fives missed chances of living and having a 'normal' life bec of his own hubris, vanyas insecurity and being able to open up bec shes with someone whos known her since childhood). Its so sweet and thats how i was like, oh yep i can do so much more with these two, and what has kept me interested in drawing them etc.

2. My favourite things are the shippers cause i made some friends in the fandom who are super cool and supportive! I dont get super involved in fandoms and usually just watch from afar so finding people to talk to and muck around with in this tiny fandom is super cool 😭

Though thats not to say I havent come across some bad apples in this fandom and things that I dont like. I think thats the importance of carving out a place for yourself and ur friends in fandom tho.

Another thing I like about the ship itself, i just like the grumpy person whos soft for one person trope. Its so cute. I like all the little clues in canon on how their relationship as kids is quite warm, which is interesting cause five is basically the star student and he can be quite cold vs vanya who is the black sheep of the family.

I also like how five likes her powers even when she caused the apocalypse he spent the majority of his life in lol. Like its a popular hc that five is just a wife guy and i love that.

I see vanya as the type who has a lot of love to give, and she sometimes has unrealistic expectations of what her partner can give. Betrayal and lies really angers her, but also when her partner cannot meet her expectations of love she gets very upset bec its also an indication of how shes not good enough, or not loveable enough to be able to have this in the relationship (her insecurity means every failing always comes back to her, even if its out of her control).

I feel like five would be a level-headed person enough in the relationship to not be afraid to say 'vanya ur being stupid' (ie. the s2 confrontation lmao). Also, five's personality means she will never have to doubt his actions bec she knows hes the type who will not give u the moment of the day if hes not interested.

Not to mention they also have the whole apocalypse vs. saviour, hero/villain thing. Theres just a lot to explore!

3. I probably have several. But mostly I dont mind five being a dick to vanya bec first, even if the appeal is hes soft to her hes already kind of a dick in canon lmao. Also, vanya isnt a child. Shes grown and she can handle petty af things like five telling her shes not good at cooking lol. I also dont mind it cause I feel like people are getting too afraid to write... conflict for fear or portraying an abusive relationship or smth. Like, chill. Conflict is fine, resolving it is how u get a story. However in saying that, nobody should be obligated to write any way unless you want to! Fanfic is for comfort so if what your doing is making u happy then its good enough!

horrance which i also ship but i love the platonic and romantic relationship equally:

1. I came in tua in general not shipping anything so Im honestly not sure. I do remember someone doing a meta before s2 came out that was basically how ben acted weird when klaus summoned dave in s1 that made me go 👀 Otherwise, tua s2 rlly made me like them cause tua FED horrance shippers. Like..... the fact that klaus didnt want ben to leave him, and ben knows thats why he stayed 😢 or the fact that klaus was all over him for some reason???? Somebody also mentioned gay ben once and I resonate with that deeply. Like i get that jill exists but i resonate with gay ben deeply.

2. I love their bickering, theyre so cute together. I just like ben being angry bec hes self aware that hes got both shit and amazing taste. Shit bec he cant believes he likes Klaus (and also amazing also bec Klaus). I think the idea of them being kind of underdogs, theyre not rlly leader types and dont want to be, helps them bond together even in platonic horrance. They're both down to earth, and even tho they can annoy each other, they also know if they want a space to feel comfortable its with each other. Theyre not pressured by rivalry over leadership, or any sort of competition.

I love the idea that even tho ben is like klaus's ''conscience'', hes also down for chaos and bitchy. I feel like klaus rlly enabled that side of him, its not exactly a good thing but its p funny lol

3. I know some people think their dynamic is unhealthy but i dont care lol

alluther. So id say i dont ship this, mostly due to the fact that im not invested? Just like all tua ships so far I rlly came out not wanting anything but platonic relationships cause I feel tua doesnt do romance very well. With alluther, theyre so cute but im not super invested in either of their chars so they havent stuck for me. I appreciate seeing them and talking about them tho, and I'm def open to exploring them further.

1. I think tua canon romances are just so lackluster 😔 Idk who writes the romances but I was just like 'nice' but afterwards I dont really think about them. I love their dance scene and the message behind it! Otherwise, theyre sweet like most of the tua romances but im not super invested, same with all the non canon ships.

2. I really feel like tua needs to decide on what their relationship is. Like, just say its incest or not and stick with it 👀 Or if you wanna support it or not, just make up ur mind. I think I would've liked it better if I found the characters more interesting. Allison especially I feel like suffers from the fact that tua just doesn't want to make her ''mean''. They want to make her supportive and are less interested in making her flawed (ie. she should've had a conflict with Vanya in s2, but the writers didnt want to write the girls fighting which is stupid imo and not what that conflict is about).

In regards to Alluther, the scene where Allison gets annoyed at Luther for sleeping with someone else felt out of line. Like, how are you marrying other people and moving on but Luther isn't allowed to? But honestly, I don't mind if they actually just acknowledge it and make it a deliberate part of Allison's trait that Allison can expect a certain loyalty automatically from other people (which can tie in to her childhood being a star, and the rumour).

Luther is a big simp for Allison, which is sweet, but at the same time it would be nice to have him explore himself for a bit, and who he is outside of the academy. Then maybe they can rekindle their relationship again as new people and see where they go from there.

3. I don't hate them, but they're ok. I'm not super invested in them, just like all the tua canon romance. But I wouldn't mind making content for them if I were a bit more invested in their characters. I love their dance scene in s1 and I feel like its super a underrated portrayal of what their relationship is meant to be. I know no one talks about it but it's just such a great scene, and I'm pretty sure the choreographer was into interpretive dance? The scene had a lot of meaning that I don't see people dig around with.

Essentially I'm pretty sure the fairy lights are obviously a throwback to their childhood together, spending time outside of Reggie. So the dance scene kind of symbolized that pocket of space they made for each other in their life (even if theyre far away, or with other people, they will always have that space for each other).

The way they danced was more like playfighting than dancing, which means their relationship isn't sensual. It's more ''pure'', and romantic. Its basically two kids rekindling their love as adults. I also think this is a response to the incest, cause in s1 tua klaus literally said that 'thank god Regg is not their real father' right before Allison and Luther meet lmao. So its kinda like saying Allison x Luther isnt supposed to be 'ohh step sibling hot' but two people who experienced the same trauma as kids and finding comfort with each other (and rekindling that love after many years).

Upon rereading tgcf, one of the biggest complaints I have is how lackluster all the extra chapters were. literally none of them were good and all contained rlly gross and harmful sentiments (like the amnesia one which.. yea.. or all the things implying xl should get pregnant for hc thus equating gay relationships with hetero ones and playing into the wife thing and just GOD I HATE MXTX) 

There were a lot of little plot points i wish that had been further elaborated on more in the extras as opposed to hualian being ... like that. I had enough. Like mdzs had actaully good extras (minus the incense burners) that were nice side stories that elaborated more on the characters. Like the hook one with the juniors was so cute and i loved seeing them grow more. Or the lotus pod extras omg.. im such a lotus pod extra stan. those were so cute and gave us a lot of good insight into just how lovestruck lwj was during the times when he didn’t see wwx. mxtx should've stuck to those sorta extras in tgcf but NOOO. SO I have a list of so many other more interesting things those chapters couldve been spent on like:

A resolution on He Xuan’s revenge and his character arc. Bc its implied He Xuan is still hanging out and watching over sqx and that taking revenge didn’t fully satisfy him bc ok.. yea shi wudu is dead but he xuans family will never come back. Now what does he have to live for?? i wish we couldve seen a look into his life during the entire ordeal. like a chapter from his perspective while he was posing as Ming Yi  and maybe a look at a conversation btw he xuan and the real ming yi or a chapter after SQX was banished to see what he’s doing now. Also what did he xuan owe hua cheng money for anyways?? Like ik not every little thing has to be explained but I Want to Know. PLEASE more goth boyfriend content now I just wanna see him :,((

a better resolution of yin yu and quan yizhens storyline. im still mad abt how that plot point was split btw books 3 and 5  when it was rlly out of place and  there were other more pressing plot matters and it just rlly deserved more time. Also i thought yin yu died!?!?!? but apparently one of the extras says he’s alive and man... i;m not reading any more of the extras to see that, give me a full yin yu and quan yizhen chapter.. fuck.

a day in the life of the guoshi fangxin or general hua PLEASE especially like one where hua cheng was SO CLOSE to meeting xie lian but had no clue that xie lian was there at the time but the two did smth that inadvertantly helped the other and they still were connected even though they hadnt met omg pls that’d be so nice. like imagine Hua cheng catching a glimpse of the guoshi in public in yong’an while he’s trying to follow some lead that points to xie lian or maybe following a lead to capture qi rong bc he said he knew qi rong was a part of the yong’an stuff and originally thought the guoshi was one of qi rongs pawns. like can you IMAGINE him getting so close. but at the last second he did smth small that impacted xie lian. like they bumped into eachother on the street or smth. god i’d go crazy

OR vice versa.. like a day in the life of the young ghost king hua cheng. Like again, one of my biggest issues was that hua cheng just knew everything and its never really explained how he got all of that info. like yes he’s been alive very long and has eyes and ppl working for him everywhere but like... how did he build that network?? I’d love to see a chapter of young ghost king hua cheng travelling around trying to learn as much as he can abt the world and how it can help bring him to xie lian. and the two maybe are in the same kingdom for a bit and they don’t meet exactly but hua cheng stops some fight or something and helps xie lian indirectly or maybe xie lian is performing on the street in some costume and hua cheng doesn’t recognize him and smiles and gives him a coin or smth. idk i’m just dying for any sorta extra chapter or fic like that. i’m honestly so tempted to write my own but i cant write

also!! we’ve seen how xie lian picks up people down on their luck near him and show them kindness (like banyue, lang ying, xiao ying, he tried to with san lang but we know how that ended lmao) so i’d love to see another little vignette of him doing that on his travels and how every person he meets teaches him smth about life and being a good person and idk, i just think it’d be rlly sweet. i love this facet of his character and feel like we didn’t see enough of it towards the end.

ALSO hua cheng only seems to respect one heavenly official besides xie lian and thats yushi huang.. i assume thats mostly bc she was the only one to help xie lian and let him use the rain master hat to bring water to yong’an. I was thinking maybe when he was a new supreme he had run into trouble and maybe was picked up by the rain master and helped him heal and in return he promised to help protect her village from harm in the future. Like i know a heavenly official wouldn’t cooperate with a ghost like that but yushi huang is different and doesn’t really care about the heavens so i think she would protect him if he could do something to benefit her village. ik this is kinda far fetched but when he first became a supreme I’m sure a bunch of ppl probably tried to mess with him and didn’t rlly believe him to be undefeatable bc he hadn’t proved himself yet also i doubt all his power came overnight. he had to learn how to use it once he escaped the kiln. and some group probably thought they could weaken him somehow. I’m thinking maybe a rlly well formed group of ghosts actually caught him off guard once and he had to retreat and was picked up by the rain master and stayed with her and learned from her a bit. i think it’d be a cool concept also i just rlly want more yushi huang content and i’m on their friendship agenda bc he rlly did seem to actually respect her when she first appeared and i think it’d be cool if the two had some history together.

Also idrc if this was addressed I couldve missed it But!! Did xie lian ever tell Hua cheng that the reason he got the curse shackles and was banished again in the first place wasnt bc jun wu wanted to punish him, but because he requested it. And specifically requested it bc he felt guilty abt letting wu ming take the human face disease and disperse for his sake. So he took the shackles and descended to atone for that?? Bc I dont recall hua cheng learning that bc his soul was already dispersed at that point so it didnt follow him and xie lian didnt say anything so uhhh... someone should tell hua cheng that. Like I dont think xie lian rlly said how much hua cheng meant to him and didnt show him he was loved in grand ways. Like xie lian did always care for bc in other ways but I think if hua cheng learned abt this on screen it wouldve been such a great moment and I'm rlly surprised mxtx didnt address this iirc!?!? Like imagine jun wu telling Hua cheng this in the kiln bc xie lian wouldnt say it himself. Imagine how cool that would be.

Also a small thing adding into the whole young ghost king Hua cheng stuff. Its implied and p much stated that hua cheng isnt his real name. That he likely doesnt have a real name bc his parents died? (It's not clear. I'm still mad at mxtx for not making his childhood clearer). So I'd like to see when and why hua cheng chose that name for himself. The new tgcf ending song kinda hints at its meaning with the lyrics "for you I'd fill a city of flowers" as xie lian is the flower wielding martial god so it's probably inspired by that. Also xie lian saved hua cheng from leaping off the city walls but I'd love to hear him say it bc the implication of his name didnt dawn on me for quite a bit and I dont know if everyone made the connection. Again I sure as hell didnt. So itd be cool to see a chapter that takes place in his past after just ascending as a supreme

Overall I rlly think tgcf had a lot more potential to be even better and a lot of that comes down to fleshing out the side characters and letting hualian have more of a storyline independent of one another. like i know the appeal and message of tgcf is that through love, people can overcome anything, but fuck man. i just wanna see what these two (mostly hua cheng) where like in the absence of each others presence. Part of what I really liked abt mdzs is that we got to see that longing develop btw wangxian when the two weren’t together and how they thought about each other and did things in thei others spirit bc they knew the other wouldve done the same thing. but whatever, mxtx was too consumed by her own unhealthy idea of what devotion and true love looks like but still. i rlly think the extras couldve helped the story be better rather than be fujoshi fuel that i try to bleach from my mind -_-

All the grimmons scenes in s15 were *chefs kiss*

There was the temple thing, the focus on simmons while Grif walked off, simmons constantly thinking about grif when he wasn't there, grif repeatedly asking specifically how simmons was when locus and lopez arrived, them immediately yelling each others names when they reunited, and of course the "why are we here?!" Scene

Speaking of said scene, Simmons' knife was obviously also a highlight

Also hyper grif. Was so good

The entire episode Previously On, I rewatch it so much, i love it

Previously On also gave us Carolina/Grif interactions and that deserves its own mention

Locus was also so good in s15 and s17, I loved how he was trying so hard to stay chill but was so obviously losing his mind trying to work with the reds and blues

Caboose hugging Locus was also a highlight

LOOPY WASH. He's just so funny okay, all the scenes with him in s15 and then in s16 when he sees the others in the corridor and stops to talk to them, it always kills me

The conversation between tucker and wash in s15 when they finish it with "smartass" "buzzkill"

Loco. I just really love him. I'm still so sad he died :')

The beach scene where Wash and Lina talk about Illinois and then about York and then hold hands is rlly sweet

I loved the scenes in s15 with simmons and caboose, especially because Simmons actually treated Caboose like a person, he didn't immediately dismiss everything caboose said as stupid, he said it was an "interesting theory" but he wasn't sure it was right

The scene where Caboose talks to church through the portal. It makes me so emotional :') I love caboose so much

Tucker being protective of caboose was also really nice to see

The Spencer porkensonsen story line was ridiculous and I loved it.

I actually really liked Jax in s15, he was so dumb but loveable (unfortunately I really didn't like him in s16 :/)

SOKKA CENTRIC FICS

Here are some Sokka centric fics! Most of these works are not labeled as Sokka centric and so it’s very hard to find! There’s only 64 fics out of 15019 fics 

Keep in mind I did not do any Zukka or Tokka fics bc I did not want to wade through that esp bc Zukka fics are 80% Zuko centric. It’s also possible that I missed some fics as, again, they are kinda hard to get a hold of. I literally had to block the Zuko tag at one point bc if Zuko was a character in the fic, it was going to be about Zuko, and it was just a lot to wade through to find that one fic where Zuko was a character but wasn’t the main character. The untapped potential?!?! We also have no idea what Sokka does in the future (still salty LOK) so this gives us a lot of room to imagine and create stories! Like I need a fanfic on how Sokka does wtf??? You’d have thought that with this atla renaissance and people gaining a new found respect and admiration for Sokka’s character, that there’d be more Sokka focused fics, but nope :( 

I’ve noticed that those who like Sokka don’t contribute to the fandom fic wise and guys we gotta step up (like I’m one to talk lol I’m gonna try and write some fics I swear!) 

Also if you still want more Sokka fics I suggest searching in the tags bender Sokka, water bender Sokka, and fire bender Sokka. I also suggest that you go to fanfiction.net. I know it’s old, but so is this fandom, which means a lot of fics are there too. It’s easier to wade through the fics on fan fiction.net than AO3 simply bc of how little tags you can put there, so if Sokka is tagged, you know he actually plays a part in the story (no shade on AO3 I love it but sometimes it’s hard to find stuff bc the tagging system relies on the people knowing how to use tags, and the avatar fandom does not, but that’s bc it’s old)

Anyway, LOVE SOKKA MORE and don’t forget to reblog and let other ppl get access to these fics bc I know I would have loved it if someone made an entire list! (And organized it lol I never thought I was capable of organizing)

please tell me about the time travel ocs omg

ok so i actually have a whole slideshow abt them that i made a couple months ago bc i was bored and my sister wanted to know abt them bUt im just gonna put a little abt them here as well, and talk about the actual story a bit

(the slideshow has most of the actual info this is just extra jdshburjvi)

so for some background: none of them are actual time travelers per se, they were just accidentally sent to the future by a time travel machine gone haywire so they don't really know what's going on

all of them were sent to the same place at different times (within a couple of years), but they all ended up at the same high school

emberlin is the mc, she's new at school and still trying to process what the fuck is happening when she's immediately invited to sit with everybody by will + flynne because they 'thought she looked cool'

will's full name is willington bc my dream brain made it up,,, and he also shares a lot of qualities with willie from jatp bc i was hyperfixating on that at the time. he's an awkward skater boy w adhd

flynne was also originally a character from jatp that i changed (guess which one). she's just cool and i love her,,, flynne's one of those people you meet that has really great vibes

allysa is super sweet and friendly (and most of the other info abt her is in the slides)

madge is that friend who's like "no >:( don't do that" but then lets it happen anyways bc she wants to see how it turns out. she likes bullying pich for being a jock bc he's new to the group but it's all lighthearted (yes emberlin is also new, but madge immediately decided to protect her at all costs so it's not the same)

oates is madge's best friend and usually the only one with sense

lilac got to the future and was immediately like 'wait,,, we can do what ?' and then changed her whole appearance (got a bunch of piercings, cut her hair, started wearing all sorts of makeup, etc). she lived in a time period that was really restrictive of what she could and couldn't do so she loves hanging out in the future

pich became friends with the group bc he was trying to (awkwardly) flirt with emberlin and her aro ass was just like: ,,,, is this a friend ? and invited him to sit with them. he's a jock and one of the actual popular kids but he finds it a lot more chill hanging out with them. and they let him stay so,, he does

rose is just trying to fix the major rip in time they caused and she has to deal with these idiots (she totally loves them though)

raya (yes bc i was thinking about raya and the last dragon at the time) used to be a pirate and now she's on the field hockey team w pich. she starts hanging out w everyone when he introduces her

jeremy is the only one who isn't a time traveler,, he's just friends with raya and rose

like i mentioned this kinda came to me in a dream so i don't have much plot figured out udhbciufb but i do like thinking of this idea as a show because i think seeing the character's individual styles mix modern trends with their old time period would be rlly cool

k ummm gonna talk abt my rlly elaborate batim au. info under the cut for anyone who’s interested:

the year is 1993. local urban explorer Audrey enters the abandoned Sillyvision Studios building, which went defunct in 1973. it’s best known for The Bendy Hour, a popular kids show created by Joey Drew. but i’m getting carried away. 

Audrey enters the building and falls through lots of floors. miraculously alive, Audrey discovers huge caverns underneath the studio, with winding bridges connecting the caves and halls. she encounters many monsterish versions of the characters from the show, but finds an ally in a surprisingly normal version of Bendy. he offers to help Audrey find a way out, as the longer she stays the more the ink consumes her. what is the “ink”? a strange black magic liquid generated by the Ink Machine, a semi-sentient contraption that created all the monsters and stray props. 

as the two venture through the caves, they begin to discover lore about the studio. Joey was not satisfied with his show, even though it was very innovative with animation, puppetry, stop motion, etc. Joey wanted to make Bendy real, so he invented the Ink Machine. But it could only make non-living things, like props or costumes. so Joey murdered Bendy’s VA, Aggie Byers, and used her body to make Bendy. the Bendy we’ve been travelling with all this time. (the monsters are unlucky explorers who were killed through the years) luckily, animator Henry Stein (who’s also Audrey’s grandpa!) exposed Joey’s horrible actions, but the sneaky guy disappeared before the cops could get him. 

Audrey and Bendy find Joey when they reach the Ink Machine, thus leading up to the final boss! all the monsters fuse together into a giant behemoth and Audrey battles it. there are two endings possible (so far, i’m still thinking abt them...): the Bad Ending where Audrey is defeated and turned into a character, and the True Ending where Audrey defeats the monster and Bendy sacrifices himself to destroy the Ink Machine, killing all the monsters and Joey. Audrey escapes via convenient tunnel that leads to the surface. all the murdered souls are at peace and Joey’s legacy comes to an end. i’m still considering making an ending where Bendy lives bc im annoying, but haven’t come up with anything else.

anyways, pls tell me if you like it! any fun ideas you wanna add, fanart, anything really, is very much appreciated. im kinda passionate abt this story i’ve made, but i don’t feel confident enough in my abilities to do anything more than a few drawings and character refs :((

1. what is your character's relationship to the traveler?

jupiter is aether’s and lumine’s big sibling, so they all get along very well. i like to think aether and lumine are way more brash and “act before you think” kind of people, while jupiter usually is the one who takes lead (both because of the big sib energy and because they are way more analytical). that being said, jupiter is aware that the twins are very much capable of surviving on their own and fighting if there is any need for that, which is why even after losing touch with them in tevyat they know that the twins will manage somehow, they just need to find them

2. is your character proud of, ashamed of, or indifferent to their feelings towards members of a certain gender?

i’d like to think that the species/society the trio comes from doesnt give a fuck about gender and sexuality so jupiter would never feel ashamed or upset about their feelings towards specific genders. i dont think they would rlly label themself but they are definitely not straight. as to having feelings towards others: they are usually straight forward in their approach

3. what is your character's relationship with themselves?

jupiter knows their purpose and objective very well, but that often clouds their true desires. i like to think that they havent really been thinking for themself up until they were stranded in tevyat and had to rely on themself. they came to realize their own opinions and perspectives that they carry with themself everywhere they go. tho, their views are rather flexible, because they are very much willing to learn if an oppoturnity arises. that being said, they dont quite know themself well just yet, they are still learning after all

4. what is their favorite region? why?

with how much of the game is available rn, liyue is definitely their favorite so far. it’s culture is incredibly rich and full of fascinating stories and legends. i personally am looking forward to the release of sumeru, but what will come out of it is yet to be seen

5. what is their relationship with Zhongli? do they have one at all?

oh they very much do. while his charm and politeness are qualities that they very much enjoy, what originally drew them closer to him was his vast knowledge over liyue’s traditions and customs. at first during their stay at liyue harbor they would wait to catch him during his afternoon and evening strolls around the city to ask him things and carefully listen to everything he has to say. id like to think that zhongli appreciated having such an active listener and even a conversation partner at some point. eventually their little friendship grew into fondness for each other and they would seek each other’s company, until jupiter straight up confessed. id like to think their relationship is fairly innocent and very much founded on mutual respect and admiration. they both value honesty and communicate with each other rather well. and even though, zhongli hesitated before agreeing to travel with them, leaving liyue behind, he doesnt regret doing it

6. who is their love interest? If they do not have one, who is their closest friend?

while zhongli is both their love interest and their dear friend, venti is their first close friend. during the events of chapter I they both bonded. venti seemed like someone containing a vast amount of knowledge that jupiter was eager to discover. it quickly became apparent to them that the bard doesnt particularly like to talk about the past in detail, but venti still would surprise them with how much he knew about art and the culture surrounding it. they are both pretty light spirited so they always enjoyed each other’s company and their bond only grew stronger during their travels.

7. what do they think of Mona?

they are curious about and intrigued by her methods. they can also very much relate to her pursuit of lost/forgotten knowledge. they like to ask her about astrology and theorize with her, asking her to teach them little things for an exchange of a hot, homemade meal

8. what do they think of The Knights of Favonius?

their opinion on the knights is mixed. they can very much see that most of the people working for them are underqualified and not cut for the job or only doing it for the renown. while the idea of a city without a ruler is appealing, in practice the knights are the ones ruling over it and jupiter was left feeling sceptical when thinking about their methods and the possible future. they dont have anything against the individual people in the organization, but they do think their approach is highly flawed

9. wine is Mondstadt's most popular drink. do they drink wine?

while they do indulge in alcohol from time to time, they dont seem to be able to get drunk or even tipsy. they’ve concluded that since their body is built differently than a person of this world’s, its very probable that they dont react to certain foods and products the same way. alcohol is like any kind of a drink for them and many people are terrified when they see them consume it in large quantities

10. what do they think of Kaeya?

they like his playful nature and think he is a highly intelligent person, who doesnt show anyone what he is truly capable of. his methods, while very  cunning, seem rather brash, which somehow reminds them of their siblings. while they are very much curious about his motives and history, they dare not to pray if it isnt welcomed. during their stay in mondstadt they would often times catch kaeya lurking in the tavern and spending time with the local gangs and bandits in order to extort information from them while drunk. in the rarer occasions where he would be alone, they would sometimes keep him company, filling the night with talks about nothing in particular

11. if they were forced to make the choice between killing their love interest/friend or killing themselves, what would they choose? why?

that very much depends on when that would happen. pre-separation with their siblings, they would very much operate on the hard logic of “whoever has more information/more important information should survive”. however after spending time in tevyat and meeting its people, jupiter learns to greatly value life and their inicial stance would change to a more selfless one. the more they get to know about the world the more they are willing to put their life on the line to preserve life in it, especially if its the life of someone they hold dear

12. what do they think of Childe? 16. is there a canon character your character hates? why?

at first they were open to the idea of being childe’s friend, however with time they started noticing that something was wrong with his overt friendliness. when he revealed his true intentions, jupiter was not surprised, but learning what he had chose to do made them absolutely despise him. staying in liyue has taught them a lot and made them care about the people living in this world. however childe seemed to have no disregard to them. they will not hesitate to fight him if their paths do cross again

13. do they carry a lot of Mora?

having a large amount of mora is basically a requirement when travelling with zhongli and venti. jupiter does take on a lot of jobs and comissions, though mora is mostly a secondary issue for them. they do find themself owning quite a lot of it at times until they overspend with their companions and are forced to rely on their survival skills in order to save up enough to get a roof over their heads

14. does your character side with Kaeya, Diluc or neither?

when it comes to the family feud: neither. jupiter doesnt like to pry into family matters and they understand both kaeya and diluc never talking about their issues with one another. while they cant imagine siblings behaving like that, due to their own experience, they dont feel like its their place to judge.

when it comes to the knights of the favonius: jupiter slightly leans more on diluc’s side, recognizing the many weaknesses of the organization as it is, however they both come from different places when critiquing it.

15. what do they think of Venti?

venti has become their best friend and they value him deeply. they worry about him sometimes, aware of the origin of his appearance and the history behind it. they like how venti seems to perceive life in a very poetic way and are fascinated by it. they get along very well and venti often fill their time during their travels by his songs, both known and not yet named

17. how did they acquire their vision?

they seem to be blessed with the same ability as their siblings when it comes to being granted powers without aquiring a vision themself

18. what is your character's weakness?

their curiosity and hunger for knowledge

19. what is their strength?

they utilize the knowledge they have gathered into things they can use to their advantage be it in battle or daily life

20. what is your character's theme song?

21. what weather do they love the most? why?

they love when its sunny. jupiter very much enjoys the feeling of sunlight on their skin

22. what do they think of Paimon?

jupiter would be Ecstatic to get to meet paimon. her vast knowledge in all matters would make her a valuable companion. in the current story they have no idea who she is as of now though

23. what do they think of the Fatui?

while they do not approve of the fatui’s methods, they cant help but think that something much deeper must be going on. jupiter wants to believe that the tsaritsa cant be simply evil and that perhaps she has some other, hidden motivation for her actions. having spent time with and got to know the fatui in liyue, they also know that not all of them are cartoonish bad guys

24. what do they think of the archons?

overall the concept of archons seems very new and intriguing to them. they do try to get as much information about their godhood out of venti and zhongli. they wonder whether this world really needs the archons as much as it claims to

25. what is the worst thing that could happen to your oc?

either losing their siblings or losing their memory (its a great fear of theirs)

26. what does your oc want the most?

their long term dream is to write down all the knowledge they’ve gathered so far and make it accessible and understandable to anyone willing to read it

Being Auntie Ino was more fun than she expected.

It helped that the little girl in front of her was the daughter she would’ve wanted if she didn’t have her precious Inojin. Sakura’s schedule at the hospital got scrambled at the last minute when Sasuke was already out of the village for a mission, so she was beyond relieved when Ino was free to watch over Sarada for the afternoon.

It helped that Sarada adored her Auntie Ino, too.

“I’ll be back to pick her up later this evening,” she said before giving a final kiss to her daughter. “Be good! And thanks again, Ino, I really appreciate you taking her on your day off.” The blonde woman waved her off, it was really her pleasure. Plus, Inojin was out with Sai for the day, so they could enjoy a fun girls day together.

“Come on, Sara-chan. We can get a snack and play together. Do you want to play in the garden?” The six-year-old nodded eagerly and followed Ino into the kitchen. Sarada waited patiently as Ino washed and chopped some fruit for her.

Surprisingly, the July heat wasn’t unbearable and the flowers in the garden looked as lovely as they did in the springtime. “Let’s go over here, we can pick some flowers.” Ino picked some pale pink ones and started making a flower crown for Sarada while Sarada munched on her snack. They would stand out nicely against her dark hair.

And even though Sarada has her father’s hair and eye color, Ino found herself suddenly struck by how much Sarada looks like Sakura: the wide forehead, the innocent eyes, the sweet smile. She’s taken back to the day she first met Sakura, both women so different from who they are now. Working with flowers is like second nature to her, so she allowed herself to be swept up in memories while still deftly weaving flowers together. To think that Sakura used to get bullied made Ino shake her head.

The feeling of Sarada tugging on Ino’s clothes interrupted her thoughts. Ino bent down so Sarada could tuck a blue flower behind her ear. Sarada clasped her hands together, dark eyes sparkling with joy, “Pretty Auntie!”

Ino smiled and right on time, finished the flower crown. She placed it on Sarada’s head and complimented, “You look very beautiful.”

Sarada gently patted her head to feel the flowers resting there, mumbling a shy, “Thank you. Can I try?” At Ino’s nod of approval, she started plucking more flowers to braid together. Clear blue eyes watched fondly.  

As important as training was, Ino also wanted her son and his peers to experience the ease and innocence of childhood. A kunoichi can balance taking care of her appearance with training, no problem! But with Sasuke and Sakura’s genes, she probably wouldn’t have to try very hard to look good...so unfair!  

And as similar to her parents as she may be, Sarada was also somehow this cute little... person who was so unique. She wondered who the girl would fight like, if she would become a medic nin too. Which of the chakra natures would come to her most easily? She certainly had her mother’s smarts and kindness. But the more she thought about it, she was like Sasuke in those aspects, but his positive traits just manifested differently. Ino certainly wasn’t privy to Sasuke’s gentleness the way his wife and daughter were, but it was clear how much his girls adored and admired him.

To be able to grow up alongside Sasuke and Sakura then go on to watch their child develop next to her own son made Ino feel truly lucky. The shinobi world was often unkind, and her generation had lost many loved ones. If only her own father was there to witness it all. Building families in this new more peaceful era was a strong testament to the way things had changed.

Sarada held up a small red blossom and a big purple flower against her glasses, “Look, I’m like Papa!”

Ino smiled at her cute antics, and also cringed on the inside remembering her old crush on Sasuke. He was still handsome, he was still cool, he was still strong. But he wasn’t for her, and she had known and accepted that for a long time. The little schoolgirl inside of her couldn’t help but feel giddy thinking about the long-awaited developments between Sasuke and her best friend. Traveling together for such a long period of time away from prying eyes (like her own)? Ugh, the romance!

All things considered, she was pretty happy things turned out the way they did. Sai was such an unusual person, but he was her match. She wouldn’t want to raise Inojin with anyone else.

At first, she honestly worried that Sasuke wouldn’t be a good partner to Sakura. He had been gone for so long, yet Sakura’s devotion never waned. The two were still like teenagers in love after all this time. It just drove home the point that no one knew Sasuke like Sakura did. Ino shook her head; seriously, it often felt like Sakura was the only one who had any real influence over that man with all his comings and goings and short responses.  

And when they surprised the entire village by coming home with a baby, she wasn’t sure how he would handle fatherhood. Sakura clearly understood him well, but how would all his Sasuke-isms translate to caring for a baby? Those thoughts were quickly swept away when he demonstrated that he was clearly incredibly capable and loving.

In fact, Sasuke was the one who picked Sarada up right after he got back from his mission, earlier than Sakura’s shift ended. Even if she was definitely old enough to walk home on her own, Sasuke couldn’t help but give in when his daughter signaled for him to pick her up. She held on to him tightly, looking content. Even Sasuke seemed to relax more now that he confirmed that his child was safe.

“Where’s Sakura?”

He must have checked in with his wife before arriving because he said, “Still at the hospital,” like it was obvious — and it was. Ino of all people knew about Sakura’s packed schedule. And the way Sarada talked about her papa nonstop, it was obvious how much affection she had for the man holding her.

“Don’t you have to go debrief with the Hokage?” Ino really didn’t mind watching Sarada for a bit longer.

Sasuke glanced at his daughter, “It’ll be quick. And she’ll be asleep soon.” Playing out in the warm sun had worn her out and Sasuke’s shoulder was an awfully comfortable place to rest her head on…  

He nodded at Ino, probably saying thanks or bye, and turned around to leave. He wasn’t quite out of earshot when he looked down at Sarada and asked softly, “Did you have fun today?” She quickly started babbling about her day, all while never letting go of her hold on her papa.

Young Ino saw something special in young Sakura and there was something special about Sarada too. She’s just happy for Sakura, proud of her too. She wished Sasuke could be home more often to complete the family, but protecting that sweet child was worth anything and everything. She knew Sarada’s parents understood this well — their sacrifices were not for nothing. Ino closed the door and smiled to herself. Those Uchihas.

A/N: I didn’t include Inojin bc I don’t really watch boruto besides for sss moments, so I didn’t think I could capture his character very well + I was most drawn to writing about ino’s thoughts anyway Again, this is one of those stories where I’ll update if I get an idea, but I don’t rlly have plans otherwise :P

Well if this reads as though I haven't finished the books it's because I haven't, but I will have by reveals so don't worry about spoilers.

Fitz/Fool

1. Set in the Golden Fool Trilogy before the Fool being Amber and him being in love with Fitz is revealed they have the head out on a sea voyage for whatever reason. They come across the Paragon, Fitz freaks because why does that ship have my face and also it's ALIVE? The Fool has to then awkwardly explain what happened.

2. At the end of the Golden Fool Trilogy they venture back to the Fool's homeland together.

3. After the Red Ships are vanquished Fool seeks out Fitz. They travel the world together with Night Eyes.

Brashen/Althea

1. I would love a bit more detail about their life after their series! We see them with a kid in the Dragon series so I would adore a look into that family.

2. I would love to see how these guys relationship works with their families, does Brashen ever really speak to his family again? Does Malta have the Trell's over and Brashen and his family awkwardly sit at the table together.

3. Generic ship adventure! I would love to see these guys travelling around with the Paragon and what they get up to.

Supernatural

DNW: Anything past Season 10

Likes: boy king arc, Sam centric fic, queer Sam (I literally head canon him as anything with whatever pronouns), Bobby, trans Dean, religious iconography/themes, Sam being a lore nerd

Sam/Ruby

1. Ruby lives, I’d love to see how this plays out in Season Five. Whether she sticks with Lucifer or chooses Sam.

2. Sam goes dark side after freeing Lucifer

3. Earlier on Sam starts trusting her and fulfilling his role as the boy king. If this stops Dean from going to hell, changes the way the demons work etc

Sam/Jess or Sam/Jess & Dean

1. Jess lives au! My personal head canon is that Jess is pre-med and being very intent on saving people. When she finds out about hunting, she realises that she can’t just go back to being “normal” knowing people are dying. Maybe Sam decides to go back to law school and they have a semi long-distance relationship where she asks him for advice, maybe they hunt together every now and again. Maybe she joins Dean and Sam and they become a hunting trio.

2. Jess gets brought back to life – place this in any season you want! Go wild.

Dean & Sam

1. Dean keeps in touch with Sam during Stanford! Maybe from the get-go, maybe after a couple of years, maybe seeing each other, maybe just through postcards

2. I’d love to see them during S4 where their relationship starts to fall apart, but like also see them still loving each other

3. John gets a year to live instead of instantly going to hell AU – how do they react? Do they try to save him? Does John tell them?

4. I’d love a sort of non-linear story of them (especially Sam because it’s been so long) trying to integrate John into his adult life also looking at his life as a child/teen. You know the general angst about how he’d done it, he’d gotten away and he’s right back at square one. Also, Dean starting to realise that he isn’t a kid anymore, and he’s got his own thoughts etc

Sam

1. Licherally anything in the boy king arc! I’d love to see him fulfilling his role as the boy king. This stops Dean from going to hell, changes the way the demons work etc

2. His time at Stanford! I’d love to see him adjusting to his new life.

3. I would love to see a bit more of him in Season Four! How he feels about Dean being chosen by the angels, how this affects his view on religion, how he feels about himself and the demon. Blood etc

4. Just some introspection anytime in the series tbh, love to see this boy struggle with wanting to be good, with wanting to be normal, and then um not being those things

5. I’d love a sort of non-linear story of Sam trying to integrate John into his adult life also looking at his life as a child/teen. You know the general angst about how he’d done it, he’d gotten away and he’s right back at square one.

Final Fantasy XV

Likes: fics that include the whole gang, trans Gladio, anything with Prompto, angst about destiny, angst about royal linage, character introspection

Noctis/Prompto

1. I really like angsty fics about destiny with this lot - I would love to see how the way in which they’ve been raised effects their relationship, be it being groomed to be king or shield or advisor. I would love a getting together fic, with whichever ship you wish to write, with a lot of internal angst.

2. I would also love a post cannon fic where Noctis is alive (magic, never died, skip over it entirely it’s up to you) where they all settle down, maybe Noctis lets the world think he has died so he can live a peaceful life?

3. I would like to see a fic of Prompto integrating himself into Noctis’ life, Gladio and Ignis have been around his entire life, so how does Prompto feel about them? How do they feel about him? Honestly I’m 100% here for awkward insecure bby Prompto

4. Set between game cannon and Brotherhood, I‘d be down to see what these guys got up to in the years between high school and the road trip. Did Prompto and Noctis study after high school? Do they travel?

5. Less of a prompt and more a vague feeling but like *slaps prompto* this bad boy can fit so much angst in it. Honestly, he’s childhood is depressing af, with the lack of parents and friends combined with a shit body image/relationship with food I wld rlly love some emotional hurt/comfort with him and the squad

Naruto

Likes: the summons, Rock Lee, the squads and how they operate, Naruto getting to eat the ramen he deserves, Sakura being an actual bad arse fleshed out character, trans Naruto

Sasuke/Naruto

1. Naruto leaves and joins Sasuke on his mission to destroy to Leaf, talks him out of y’know murdering everyone but agrees that the Shinobi system is deeply fucked and needs to be fixed

2. I’d like a fic of Sasuke thinking about Naruto while doing all his plotting, be it set when he’s with Orochimaru or the Akatsuki, it would be nice to see him thinking about Naruto, wanting to stop doing so, wondering how strong he could have been if he had managed to kill him and gain the mangekyou earlier

Gai/Kakashi

1. I’d like a fic set just before Kakashi gets his genin, really love to see Gai trying to talk up how cool having a squad is! Dragging Kakashi to see his kids and being like aren’t my team great! And then Team Gai getting into some crazy hijinks that make Kakashi a lil scared about the future but also maybe a bit endeared towards them

2. a fic of Gai watching Kakashi slowly lose himself while in ANBU, of him trying to make things right and not being able to and then eventually asking him to be removed from the forces

So um. I guess I was right about Tomo and Kazuha HAHAHA. Fr though a lot of this archon quest felt so.... predictable and rushed. My very first thought after finishing the archon quest was not about how great the cutscenes were or about the storyline and all the reveals.... it was rlly just "That's all?".

I don't want to be a debby downer, but Mihoyo could have at least revealed more about Scaramouche through Baal instead of Yae. And the whole "twin gods" thing felt like they just shoved that in there for no other reason than shock value. Again, thats a reveal we get through Yae instead of Baal herself which is,,,,, Anyways, the cutscenes were phenomenal and I'm glad they sort of gave Kazuha closure. But, I still can't help but be disappointed about how fastpaced everything was, from La Signora down to the new Sumeru lore (lesser lord???? Tf is goin on in Sumeru why are they worshipping a lesser lord instead of the archon??)

On another note i am both ecstatic and anxious about how dark things are sure to get now that we finally saw an actual MURDER. The traveler is getting more and more invested in the world of Teyvat and its people, and i feel this will cause so much inner turmoil in them throughout their journey considering the fact that their end-goal is to leave with the twin. Just what will become of those two i wonder

Genshin Spoilers !!

I do agree that this quest felt more fast-paced than the previous one did. I,,, honestly, I wasn't expecting to go from merely showing Sara the Kujou clan's corruption, to fighting Signora then immediately going in to the boss fight with Baal. My phone was having a whole fit screen recording it HAHAHAKSJDN I kind of wish we had more interactions on Sangonomiya that prompted more exploration of the place, maybe ? Something that involved Kokomi + Gorou + Kazuha.

But yeah I think that the twin gods thing was... out of left field, to say the least. I mentioned in one of my asks before that I thought that it would be difficult to 'redeem' Baal after all she's done, and do it in a way that melds enough with the story. I think this is one such thing done to try and 'humanize' her by giving her loss in the form of her sister + friends, bc the twin gods seemed to lack any sort of exposé from the beginning, from the characters, the weapon + artifact lore + character voice lines + clues hidden in the landscape. Bc if you ask me, the 'twin gods' thing feels like an attempt to give Ei a reason behind why she's so desperate to hang onto eternity that kind of feels,,, cliche. I don't think I'd be as unsatisfied if more clues had been presented that hinted towards the twin gods thing, tbh.

And yeah imo the lore and cutscenes here were very centric on closing the Inazuma story quest, and not so much on building and giving hints or clues to the other sources for genshin lore. Although I do appreciate them giving some scara lore, I wish it was less,,, optional ? Because you only do learn about it if you choose a skippable piece of dialogue. And I,,, I don't know, I'm unsatisfied by how it was revealed that Scara took Baal / Ei's gnosis ? It felt really,,, underwhelming i guess.

But there were deffo some memorable scenes in this update ! I'm glad to see Kazuha gain closure like you said, and hopefully we'll get more info on why his friend's vision lit up (fingers crossed that it's more than just a 'power of friendship' thing.)

I'm also super excited bc of the traveller's personality shift! Like, this was really the first time we saw them angry enough to challenge Signora to a fight, knowing that it could end with Signora dead because of them. And their initial impatience to see the Raiden Shogun at the start of 2.0, too–– Idk, I just find it interesting how the traveller seems to get more,,, testy ? Snappy ? Impatient ? to finish everything and maybe reunite with their twin. It was also p cool to see genshin go a little darker, too. I just wonder how much the traveller is gonna change as the story progresses, tbh. If we'll see them become more and more ruthless (?) / goal driven like their sibling as time goes on.
