Sexuality: I’m thinking his sexuality is also p fluid but he’s probably attracted to more fem ppl

A ship I have: haven’t seen s4 but I’ve been converted to the shunsellon agenda. They can be emo together <3 might be strange but I like shun/ace 🫣

BROTP: Dan definitely. They’ve had ups and downs together, childhood friends. A lot of ppl ship them but idk I just see them more as rlly good friends personally. Also fabia and Alice

NOTP: uhh probably Shun/Fabia. I think they’re just friends

Random hc: his favorite MCR album is Black Parade but hes too afraid to admit it bc then he’d either be called basic or he’d have to explain the reason is because of losing his mom and how the hard he relates to the lyrics

General opinion: I like him and HOO boy I shave a history with him for sure. He was def one of my faves as a child and definitely contributed to my gender crisis. Also began my love for Ventus and Ventus users. I don’t think I ever crushed on him but I wanted to be him so bad…

Dan:

Gender: someone has to be the cis male of the group, it’s him

Sexuality: bi but definitely has not explored his attraction to masc presenting ppl as much. It takes him awhile to figure out he’s bi

A ship I have: THERAPY LMAO 💀 but fr I’d say either Spectra or Anubias, although I think those relationships would be more one sided (Dan not really noticing they’re crushing on him so damn hard). I think that’s why I like it so much too bc I’ve had MANY crushes like that before and i like angst… something something Pete Wentz lyrics be like

BROTP: Shun for sure, him and Runo strike me as the divorced couple who end up being besties after going separate ways and learning ab themselves more. Also Drago obvs

Random hc: adhd for SURE

General opinion: I’d say season 1 Dan will forever be my fave. He’s a little shithead kid who gets the bomb dropped on him and he has to start reevaluating how he looks at the other people around him, but that starts to falter in the later seasons where he just becomes the stereotypical hero who gets all the buffs and does no wrong, which does his character such a disservice. I honestly like that he was such a dick in the beginning bc that’s how most kids are, but the point is they learn through meeting other people and experiencing shit. We were robbed of that for Dan after season 1 IMO. But overall he’s fine ig.

Marucho:

Gender: reads as a boy to me personally, now that I think ab it him being a trans guy is so real. Short trans kings unite 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Sexuality: his sexuality is fluid. He just likes who he likes, but I think he definitely tends to fall more for personality than looks

A ship I have: MARUREN OBVIOUSLY!! Literally one of the best things ab season 3

BROTP: Julie and Runo definitely

NOTP: uhhhhh idk honestly I haven’t seen him be shipped with too many ppl for me to be like “oh hell naw” 😭😭

Random hc: he def has a bakugan discord and probably a separate one for him and all the original brawlers from when the game first started. Him and Julie coordinate all the reunions and meetups

General opinion: I love this dude fr. He’s fucking LOADED but he’s still the sweetest kid in the universe. He’s not just hella book smart but he’s extremely emotionally intelligent too. I also relate to him with that whole gifted kid past a bit,,, hes honestly just all around a fantastic character I’m a big fan of Marucho. Def one of the best characters in the series

Billy:

Gender: yknow what,, I’m gonna say it. Billy gives me transmasc vibes

Sexuality: straight

A ship I have: Canon, but Julie. I think they’re whole backstory connection, the falling out and reconnection was really cute. I hope they have a good rest of their lives together 🫡

BROTP: Jake. I think they’d be homies. Jake is the third wheel on his and Julie’s dates

Random hc: huge fan of early 2000’s pop alongside Julie

MY AFTG pride hc of the Foxes for Pride Month:

Neil: demisexual (canon!) But also demiromantic, this boy had not felt a single romantic feeling towards anyone expect for Andrew (he definitely just says he's andrewsexual until he learns about demi). As for gender, HE IS A TRANS MAN I WILL GO DOWN WITH THIS Y'ALL CAN FIGHT ME (it just makes so much sense you can pry trans Neil out of my cold dead hands if you dare)

Andrew: gay (canon) but also greyromantic or demi romantic, I'm torn between the two but he defo didn't experience romantic feelings for anyone but Neil (i.e. the reason he thought Neil was a hallucination bc he had never felt something like that before and hoped it was because of the drugs but hahaha nope!)

Aaron: repressed bisexual, he knew from an early age that boys were cute just like girls but he heard what Luther was saying about gay people and suppressed his own feelings for y e a r s and acted out bc he never processed his sexuality for a decade (also Neil was an asshole and he didn't want his brother to date the guy he hated the most so of course he was against it, also because he realizes that Neil could hurt Andrew (re Baltimore) and that's not gonna happen, not on Aaron's watch no sir)

Kevin: bisexual (this guy is bi, he's so bi like- he's a bi man if I've ever seen one) (so bi he fails completely at trying to pass as straight, his giant crush on Jeremy was a dead give away) but he's definitely on the aro spectrum. He's definitely still figuring it out bc you know, romantic feelings weren't allowed in the Nest so he's figuring it out

Nicky: gay :3 (canon)

Dan: bi sexual but, to her huge dismay, with a preference for men (super satly when she realized this but you know she got Matt out of it so it was okay)

Matt: he's also bi, I mean just look at him. If he wasn't so in love with Dan and was able to, he would probably kiss Neil. He and Dan definitely talk about the cute people they see and point out cute people because they're comfortable in their relationship to do so, no jealousy here

Allison: a bi sexual queen! She doesn't realize it until after Seth passed however. She definitely made out with girls while drunk and just thought it was normal (sure, keep telling yourself that boo)

Renee: a fucking lesbian. Should've been canon (I saw Nora trying to force a Renee Jean thing, I saw that and I reject that)

Bonus

Jeremy: pan, gender doesn't matter at all to him, he loves all

Jean: queer, he can admit he is attracted to multiple genders but he has too much trauma to really look into it. He's also ace for sure

it’s easy to come to the conclusion that growing up daniel was bullied and had no friends. not only because of. well. his demeanour. but also his reaction to what he thinks is desmond pranking him about time travel. his angry bitter delivery of “you’d think my ESTEEMED colleagues could think of something better than this?” paints a story. he’s angry but he also seems like he’s gonna go off somewhere and cry. so with that in mind, theresa had to be like, the only person in his corner. this naturally really endears me to her. and we know this guy started college as a real young teenager (like to graduate at 16? oof), so everybody else is way older than him. and he’s a genius. and so painfully obviously neurodivergent. he probably has no other friends and certainly no other romances. so theresa was the only one who during that time who truly cared for him, supported him, unconditionally loved him

the whole situation with daniel and theresa is really sweet and eventually deeply sad when you think about it. and i do think about it. a lot

HC TUESDAY YESSS PLEASE the only character I've ever really hcd aspec is Kaneki Ken from TG- I think he's ace/hetromantic and sex-neutral or positive. I don't want to say this to the fandom bc I know I'll hear "but wym he's ace? He has sex on the page there's a whole chapter" like that means he feels sexual attraction and never comments on it the way he comments on everything else important that happens....

The Foxes at Pride

- just very quick before I start this here's a list of the sexualities the Foxes have (in my head or canonically): Andrew and Nicky are gay, Renee is pan, Kevin, Matt and Allison are bi, Neil is demi and Aaron and Dan are straight - so Erik's coming to Palmetto for the weekend and there's this pride parade really close to Palmetto and Nicky definitely wants to go there to show off his beautiful and sexy boyfriend and he asks the other Foxes whether they would come with him - the upperclassmen are totally up for it, Matt and Allison were planning on going anyways and Renee and Dan don't even have to be convinced to go - convincing the monsters is a bit harder - Neil's all like yeah sure whatever why not and when he hangs out with Matt he actually gets kind of excited about it - Kevin's a bit harder to convince, he doesn't really want to go because he is not that comfortable with his sexuality but after a night full of talks and alcohol with Allison he decides he will come with them - Andrew does not want to go - like not at all - but it takes Neil only one night to convince him (by talking obviously get your head out of the gutter) - (the do have sex that night tho) - and then there's Aaron - he doesn't even see the point in going and he definitely doesn't want to - but then Nicky tells Katelyn about it (I have the hc that they're really good friends) and she's super excited and all that and she goes to Aaron and asks him when the pride is and if they have already decided when they leave PSU to drive there - and Aaron just can't look into Katelyn's excited face and tell her that he's not going - so he doesn't - and that's how straight™ Aaron ended up at a pride parade - now to the actual parade right - Nicky's in full gay mode - he's wearing no shirt but has written "GAY AF" on his chest and he has tiny rainbows on his cheeks and glitter everywhere and he's even wearing rainbow shoes like wtf Nicky where did you get those - Erik's a bit more subtle - he's also wearing rainbow flags on his cheeks and has glitter but he wears a shirt (Nicky is really sad about that) but the shirt has a gay pride flag on as well - Allison is full in bi pride make up and she put pan pride make up on her girlfriend Renee - Renee looks amazing with all the colours on her face and in her hair, she even dyed her hair the night before so her tips would only be yellow, pink and blue - Matt is wearing bi pride flags on his cheeks and Allison and Dan convinced him to wear nail polish so Allison painted little pride flags on his nails - Dan thinks he looks incredibly hot - Dan's wearing shorts and a sports bra and has "proud girlfriend and ally" written on her stomach - Aaron shows up in all grey clothing - Katelyn tho is wearing a rainbow crop top and has "ally" written all over her arms - Kevin did not want anything to show off his sexuality, it is scary enough for him to even go there but Allison talks him into small pride flags on his cheek -Neil is wearing nail polish in demi colours and Nicky bought him a shirt that said "demi sexuals are valid" - Andrew's in all black as always - BUT if you look properly you can see the rainbow on his left pinkie (Renee did it for him) - wow I spent way too much effort for the way they look wow - now to the actual pride parade - I've never been to a pride so I really don't know what happens there - but all the foxes are happy and so proud of who they are and Aaron would never admit that but he really admires his cousin and brother for standing up for who they are - and even Kevin has fun and there's this one really cute guy who gives him his number and kisses him on the cheek right on his tattoo and Kevin fucking blushes - HE BLUSHES - everybody just has the greatest day of their lives and Andreil kiss in public and everything's amazing

misc. thoughts: i never expected to love miles as much as i’ve grown to over the years but i really do. i love his Sour Outside, Sad Inside personality. he seems like a total jerk at first but in retrospect he’s just putting it on and also its a defense mechanism because of his issues and his powers. he’s funny and such a babe and got way more development than i expected. tho i do wish he got more interactions / more of a dynamic with daniel and charlotte. that trio friendship (and in my mind eventual polyam relationship) is more... theoretical

but hey, thats what im here for. annnyways miles is underrated

worst quality: his recklessness and utter disregard for his own safety

ship them with: charlotte, miles, desmond, charlie (and low-key theresa by way of it being canon and like, his first love so aww)

misc. thoughts: as well daniel being an interesting and tragic character, how goshdamn ND he is means a lot to me. as well as his canon brain damage it’s clear from his behaviour he’s just plain not neurotypical. thank jeremy davies for everything he chose to do (actually his acting style/behaviour in general, really)

like it’s impossible for anybody to argue this character is neurotypical. i love that

also i woulda loved for there to be more of him but goshdamn does he make an impact with 23 episodes. i’d say at this point he’s my 2nd fave character

also for a show FILLED with tragic backstories he’s manages to be one of the most tragic and fucked up, and that is one hell of an achievement

misc. thoughts: ben’s another character thats up there in terms of my faves (for a long time he was my number one but then i realised oh wait, hurley and daniel) and thanks to michael emerson being the literal best actor in the world, he’s so utterly enthralling. also i love his evolution from The Villian to weird guy who hangs around the good guys and they all sorta tolerate him. he’s one of the most engaging characters in the show, like i’ve never been bored with ben eps or ben scenes. he’s an awful person but an awful person i love to love. also, tho it doesn’t justify it, his life has been pretty fucked up. he’s pretty funny too

bi, autistic + some sort of social behavioural disorder (to be clear, he’s not a sociopath, okay?) and also he’s a virgin (michael emerson approved hc)

kate, jack, sawyer, juliet, claire, boone, shannon, locke, ben, desmond, penny, sun, jin, libby, michael, charlotte, etc = bi. being bi is just the norm in my version of LOST (only main characters i consider straight are hurley and frank) just… because i can. some of ‘em i don’t even have a reason

charlie = bi & trans

daniel = bi, demi and pretty gender indifferent (bordering on agender. i hc that dan is indifferent to his whole existence, gender included)

richard: also bi demi

miles: aro bi

ana lucia, naomi & ilana = lesbians (…there’s a theme here)

there, i’ve populated the island with dozens of bi people, a few lesbians and a two (2) straight people. The Island is trying to compete with the Isle of Lesbos

of those i’d say my faves are

charlie, miles, kate & boone are so Obviously Bi and i love it

claire thinking she’s straight until kate

jack also thinks he’s straight, gosh it runs in the family

aro miles. i very rarely have aro headcanons (cuz i support aro people but admittedly i don’t fully understand it. and thats okay) but like a year ago i was writing out some miles meta and i realised along the way that i was, based on my understanding, writing an aro character. it really suits him

dan and richard both being bi demi feels really right to me

charlie being trans, of course!

the idea of the whole science team being queer except frank. he’s the sci team’s Confused Straight Dad. he supports his gay kids

oh also charlotte identified as a lesbian for a lot of her 20s until coming to the conclusion that she’s bi later on. i dunno, i just think it adds depth

and to be clear, whatever you guys do with these characters is fine and lovely to me (some i’ve seen: lesbian claire, gay miles, bi hurley. and that’s great!) just because certain headcanons may not align doesn’t mean i disagree
