I fucking hate writing advice posts bc they’re all dumb and wrong. Anyways the only golden rule re paragraph length is that you should 1. Probably avoid paragraphs that get longer than half the page (my eyes hurt just to look at it!) and 2. Add variety. If you have your paragraphs all the same length your reader will get bored. Ideally you want to aim for a medium paragraph length most of the time, and lightly sprinkle longer and shorter paragraphs throughout the piece. Save ur shortest paragraphs for moments of extreme emphasis, and your longest paragraphs for moments or ideas you really want to slow down or build up. Like the trick is you gotta use the length of the paragraphs to control the rhythm and flow of the story.

I think one of my favorite video game locations is the despicable Alice In Wonderland themed fast food joint in SH shattered memories. it's so goddamn awful in there I love it, I also like that the roof is just close enough to the roof of the brothel next door that you can just jump it.
