look all i’m saying is if someone even remotely, completely indirectly compared me to the fucking goddess fortuna i would be throwing up, crying, passing away, needing years of therapy to recover because there’s legit no way my life would get better from there

i watched this morning's livestream at work because i couldn't help myself, reynal (alex jones' shitty lawyer) really did try to file for a mistrial and ask the judge to move that bankston should delete the entire phone backup he was sent. it turns out that reynal actually DID email back "please disregard, i will send you a new one" but
that is not how that works
you have to specify exactly what you are claiming is privileged, and why
you have to send back new versions of the documents with the privileged content redacted and marked confidential
reynal didn't do any of that and just assumed bankston would be a bro and delete because he said "oops"
reynal never even sent him the new documents
all of the documents he is trying to get locked down are things that should have been produced over a year ago anyway
it turns out that what alex jones' lawyers sent was. basically their whole shared drive. norm pattis' entire computer. there was over 300GB. the medical records were for a different trial, in connecticut, and reynal shouldn't have had them in the first place.
the judge told him that if he wants to go through and retroactively mark specific files as confidential, he can go through the normal process for that. reynal wanted another ten days and she said "no???" he complained about how many documents they would need to go through in a short amount of time. she pointed out that if they'd produced these documents a year ago they'd have plenty of time. if someone wants to subpoena the documents there's nothing she can do about it and that's a him problem.
the judge. literally thought he was joking about the mistrial. she tried to give him an out to say that he was joking. he was not. she told him to stop bringing up mistrials because that's not how this works.
anyway that is my update

Do you think Kaz proposed in Suli? Do you think he practiced for weeks to make sure he was pronouncing everything properly? Do think he got frustrated at every mistake and then nervous because he could mess up during the real thing? Do you think he blushed and blundered over the words the first time he said them into the mirror? Because I like thinking that Kaz is not smooth at all when it comes to Inej and that actually having her as opposed to watching her from afar makes him soft

Currently thinking about Morgan saying the reason she likes Glenn more then Jodie is because even though he's really stupid, he is trying and thats why she loves him but it's "this is the best its going to be" when it comes to his relationship to Nicky.
Thinking about how Morgan was someone who pushed back against Glenn's worse behaviors and called him out. Morgan made Glenn want to be better. And then she died and Glenn gave up trying because Nick wasn't a good enough reason to keep on trying

Klaus' obsession with gymnastics never left him. He still loves it to this day and will watch it, but there is an obvious bitterness to it. He never properly grieved the loss of the sport for himself.
At the hospital he would get in trouble for his fixation on 'correcting' his routine. He'd have notebooks with sketches and the math of his routine. He'd recalculate the flip he failed, causing the break of his back. He'd try to find ways he could have corrected the slip. He'd finish out the routine with calculations that would have collected him the most points despite his slip up. He'd watch his routine and the injury over and over again to see where his mistakes were.
It was pages and pages of information, what ifs that he'd concocted in his brain, in wanted denial that he was paralyzed and couldn't ever compete again. It got to the point that he was banned from the television or y*utube for awhile without someone there to monitor him, as it often made him spiral into a deeper depression. This is when his brother started to bring in the Rubik's cubes to try and distract him.
There are still times where his regret gets the better of him. He brings out his old books and tries to run the routine again. Even after 10 years, its still engrained in his head. He can give the exact second that his mistake occurred.

Wesker taking interest in a new trainee at Umbrella tho, one who clawed their way from the very bottom-most wrung of society to their current position working with Umbrella
oh wesker for sure shows a big interest in you 🫢 he’s honestly impressed that you managed to get to where you are now
totally goes rummaging through your files to learn everything about you. he’s genuinely intrigued
sees some real potential in you and sees if he can get you to work by him to see just how much you’ve grown from where you used to be
if you notice yourself getting more assignments than usual he’s def testing you
