Thinking of Azhdaha holding Morax close to his chest, contemplating his conflicting emotions. This is the young god who brought him back to the surface, gave him eyes to see. But he is also what the Primordial One represents, and he can't help but feel angry that Morax has what was taken from him as a Sovereign.
This is his beloved, this world is all Morax has ever known. How could he expect him to understand a world before the Primordial One and humanity??
So he just kisses the side of his head and hums the song of the earth as a lullaby, knowing that there truly are none who share the memory left, and that even he will forget about it in due time.

Note
hear me out for genshin x bsd-
atsushi would be a cryo claymore that scales off atk (since the tiger is shown as extremely powerful and can even cut through space) and optimizes physical dmg
dazai would be a geo sword support that increases elemental res, acting as a debuffer (as no longer human works in the bsd universe) he would also scale off em
kunikida would also be geo but catalyst that deals physical aoe dmg.. he'd be an in-slot dps but not an optimal one imao his talents are much better suited to make him a battery unit
akutagawa would be pyro polearm?? or sword?? and he's obviously a heavy dps that scales off crit rate/dmg and tenma tengai could be similar to cyno's burst when, once activated, increases def while simultaneously raising rashomon's atk
chuuya would be an anemo catalyst dps similar to wanderer bc of his gravity manipulation and he would have a melee stance where he atks from the ground and an elevated state where he uses gravity manipulation to be able to atk off-ground. his ult would be corruption obviously and would parallel xiao's where his atk and crit rate/dmg are sharply increased but he undergoes continuous dmg until the duration of his burst ends (in this state he is vulnerable as his def is lowered and he isn't able to accumulate energy meaning he needs a team built around him, preferably with a healer and a shielder)
how does it feel to be the sexiest person on this site w absolutely the most correct and banger takes anon??.. why are u correct on literally everything

eyes of silver and gold
Tumblr media
soulmate au! everyone has heterochromia, one eye is your natural colour the other is your soulmate’s natural colour. once you meet eye contact, all eyes return to its natural colour.
featuring: neuvillette
word count: 1075
cw: soulmate!au, reader is a liyue adeptus, gn!reader, reader’s eyes are GOLD because GOLD, traveler can be lumine or aether (they/them pronouns), intentional lowercase, not proofread
author’s notes: super duper rushed IM SORRY,,,, this could be written better but yeah 😭😭 i’ll do better next time !!! (i love soulmate aus)
_________ ׂׂૢ་༘࿐
neuvillette blinked at the reflection of himself on the mirror for the nth time. it was not the first time he had done so, but every time he observed the eyes of the citizens of fontaine it made him question what made his soulmate so special.
because one thing for sure, he was almost certain his soulmate was not human.
the chief justice knew the eyes of a human when he sees one. their round iris, and the common eye colours of brown or blue could easily tell that they’re merely human.
however, his soulmate’s eye replacing his left one did not look like the eyes of a human. it was an unnatural colour, usually similar to the eye colours of those who wield a vision. what caught his attention though, was the pattern of his soulmate’s eye that stood out amongst the others. like how his eyes are of a dragon’s, and lady furina’s eyes are of dewdrops, his soulmate’s eye, igniting a warm colour, shouted gold.
the first thing he had in mind was the land of gold where the geo element usurper resided. he knew liyue was a land of the adepti, where many immortals who once battled in the archon war still lived in the mountains of amber.
yet for centuries living as the hydro dragon, he had never once encountered his soulmate.
was it because of the distance between them? it was understandable, after all, for an adeptus to remain loyal to their homeland.
he had visited liyue a few times but failed to find this soulmate of his. maybe they were not residing in liyue after all?
neuvillette chose to let fate decide.
he heaved a small sigh as he turned away from the mirror, back to his office desk to continue checking the documents for the next trial.
“monsieur neuvillette!” a loud, squeaky voice which he knew belonged to a certain floating alien chimed through the door. he watched as surprisingly, only paimon, flew her way into his office with an excited expression.
he blinked confusedly at her unusual demeanour. “miss paimon,” he called, “how may i assist you today?”
he allowed her to take her time as she panted heavily. “your—“ she looked up at him and he swore he saw her eyes sparkling a lot brighter than usual. “my?” he asked.
“soulmate! we found your soulmate!! they’re outside!” paimon exclaimed excitedly.
neuvillette’s world stopped for a millisecond, for he had not known that his soulmate had just traveled kilometres from the southern liyue to the northern fontaine. he did not realize his legs moved on his own, allowing paimon to drag him by the sleeve towards the outside of the opera house.
“monsieur?” he heard paimon called before snapping himself out of his thoughts. he noticed her looking at him in concern, realizing he had stopped his tracks right by the door. “are you okay?” she asked.
is he okay? he wondered the same.
he felt an uncomfortable feeling in his chest, as if someone— or something, was banging the drums inside. he felt the drums getting louder and faster, and he could not feel his legs anymore.
he inhaled sharply. “i’m perfectly fine, miss paimon,” he paused in between, “well, let’s meet my… soulmate, shall we?”
his gaze turned towards the entrance of the door, sensing the melusine looking at him eagerly as she patiently waited for him to get ready. “monsieur neuvillette! are you going out?” she asked.
he nodded. “yes, i am. thank you very much.”
the melusine by the door clapped her hands excitedly as she immediately skipped towards the door knob before opening it for him. “well then, enjoy meeting them, monsieur!”
neuvillette watched the door opens before the light outside instantly came greeting him in an embrace.
and the first thing that entered his vision was a pair of heterochromatic eyes that matches his.
you were there with the traveler, dressed in foreign attire not befitting of fontaine. your vision clinging onto your waist like a proud medal. you were by the entrance, surrounded by melusines who were saying how your eyes match their chief justice. he watched how your confused expression tries to have a conversation with the little melusines while the traveler laughed next to you.
the cute moment did not last when the melusines notice the presence of their chief justice, immediately rushing towards him excitedly wanting to ask him about his soulmate. yet his widened eyes had locked with yours, watching your eye adorned with his blueish-purple colour slowly changing back to gold— the familiar gold that greeted him every morning in front of the mirror.
“monsieur neuvillette! your eyes!” he heard a melusine exclaimed, their hands holding his sleeve as they jumped happily.
he blinked confusedly at the tugs of his sleeves when a melusine appeared with a mirror in their hands. they showed a reflection of himself where his eyes were back to his original form— the mixture of silver, blue and purple.
he averted his attention to his soulmate who seemed to be doing the same. you were looking at your own reflection, realizing your eye has reverted to its original form. he watched your surprised expression until you noticed his attention had diverted towards you.
your flushed expressions felt a little foreign to the iudex of fontaine, but he was certainly relieved at the sight of your comfortable state in a foreign region.
he gave you a sincere smile as he placed a hand over his chest as a form of greeting.
“greetings. i’m neuvilette, chief justice and iudex of fontaine. it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
since birth, neuvillette never understood the concept of soulmates until he was given a chance to experience such phenomenon. from when he had awoken to a change in his appearance to encountering the partner that was given to him by fate, it was a surprise that a being like him could have one too.
in fact, his own soulmate was not mortal either. an adeptus originating from the land of gold, you began your exploration in the continent with the fellow traveler when they could not stop persuading you to follow them to meet someone.
a smile was formed on your lips in return as you introduced your name to him, which sounded nice to his ears. “and it’s a pleasure to meet you too, mister neuvillette.”
maybe he could give this concept a try.

Note: This has been in my drafts for a while, so while I’m finishing Part Seven, I’ll post this.
Character Included: Zhongli, Venti, Ei, Tsaritsa, Xiao, Ganyu, Diluc, Ningguang, Childe, Scaramouche, Dottore
This is long so everyone else is utc! :>
Tumblr media
As the Creator, suitors will seek to win your attention. Your inherent beauty is unparalleled, many could only imagine to be graced with your physical or verbal affections. So when word gets out that you want to be with someone romantically, everyone will jump at the opportunity.
If you pick one of the ARCHONS, no one in Teyvat would be surprised. It was obvious you valued them the most out of everyone in Teyvat, they had the strongest connection to you.
If you pick is Zhongli, that is when his identity as the former Geo Archon is officially revealed. Many were surprised to see that their Archon never died, and others questioned why he wanted to take a mortal form in the first place. However none of those things mattered when he was the one you held dear.
Liyue as a whole held a ton of pride it was their Archon you wanted to be with. That means you’ll want to stay in their nation permanently, no? For Zhongli, this is a moment he has waited millennia’s for. He always knew he was your most devoted, everything he’s done was for the betterment of Teyvat and you. When it comes to your relationship, He will do anything to make you happy. If it’s as small as getting you your own Serenitea Pot? Consider it done. If it’s something as major as becoming the Geo Archon again? He’ll do it in a heartbeat.
As much as he cares for you, Zhongli knows that you still have matters to attend to in the other nations. He would be glad to go with you if you wanted but he also has no problem staying in Liyue until you return. He’s waited this long and now that he has you, being apart for a little bit won’t hurt (at least that’s what he tells himself after you’re gone for two weeks).
-
Considered to be the weakest of the seven, Venti is ecstatic that he is the one you want to be with. He has a carefree and playful nature that bleeds into his nation naturally, but even if he doesn’t show his devotion as strongly as Zhongli, it’s still present.
He enjoys doing any activity with you, do you enjoy wine? Well let him take you to Diluc’s Tavern for the best wine you can drink. Naturally he always offers to pay, but unknown to you he’ll just put it on his never ending tab. (not that anyone would ever charge you for anything, you’re their God!). Do you enjoy his singing? He’s absolutely flattered! Let him sing you all the songs he knows, and eventually you’ll two will be able to perform duets of the songs you enjoy the most.
Just like in Liyue, Venti’s true identity will be revealed once your relationship is announced. Mondstadt will be overjoyed, not only has Lord Barbatos returned but he has secured the love of the Creator themselves. You should do expect lots of songs made about you two. You both will be a symbol of love in the nation of Freedom. Not only that, Mondstadt will plan many festivals throughout the year dedicated to the two of you. (Perhaps even a marriage?)
Just like his nation, Venti values freedom above all else. He would never want to hold you back from doing anything you love, so if you wish to visit other nations he has no problem with it. Of course there will be times he’d want to go with you, especially if the nation you’re going to is having some event in your name but Mondstadt is his home and that’s where he likes to stay. Don’t worry though, he will always be waiting for your return and he will have more songs to sing and stories to recite while you both relax in Windrise.
-
This could go one of two ways with Ei.
If you choose her during the vision hunt decree, it would solidify in her head that what she’s doing is right and that even her Creator supports it. She would be way more harsh in pursuing her view of eternity, the fight with the rebellious army would end quickly once the Shogun joins the battlefield. Now they aren’t just disrespecting her, they are disrespecting you. She will not allow that.
The citizens of Teyvat would be conflicted. Should they get rid of their visions? Do you not like them? Maybe you’ll show them they same value if they didn’t have them anymore. It would certainly be a mess for you to clean.
Also in this scenario leaving Inazuma would be… difficult. Ei doesn’t understand why you want to leave, what can those nations offer you that she can’t. She’s doing this all for you and her sister, can’t you see that?
Now if you choose her after the Traveler’s involvement in Inazuma, she would be different. Now she’s trying to find another way to pursue eternity and having you there to support and help her definitely makes her feel better about the situation. She wants to have a better relationship with her nation but she doesn’t know how to go about that, but everyone adores you so being with you should help! At least she hopes.
On the rare occasion she decides to walk around Inazuma city she would be happy if you go with her. She can be a bit awkward at times since she doesn’t believe she should indulge herself but if you tell her she can have all the dango and dango milk she desires she’ll come around to the idea. Especially if you’re indulging with her.
-
“Oh… You’re picking the Tsaritsa? Oh no! There’s no problem with that, you can pick whoever you like Your Grace.”
That is a line you’d hear all the time after announcing your affections for the ice queen. Not many people can think of Snezhnaya without thinking of the Fatui and all of the… things they’ve done in each nation.
Although to the rest of the world, the groups motives are unknown it must be something you support if you harbor affection for the founder of the Fatui, right?
No matter, even if people would have their objections to the union, no one would dare say anything. The Fatui’s power would only grow stronger, many would believe that going against them now means that they go against you. (They might even use that to their advantage)
The Tsaritsa cares deeply for you. As if you are a flame, her cold persona melts immediately when she’s in the presence of you. She’d do absolutely anything for you, and I mean anything. She’s already forsaken her relationships with her fellow Archons so if you make any requests about your distaste of other nations she will waste no time taking care of it.
Unlike the other Archons, she’s is open to killing for you, even if she doesn’t do it herself, she has a lot of powerful people who can take care of it for her.
When it comes to you leaving the nation, she’ll be reluctant. Snezhnaya has everything you need, why would you want to go anywhere else? Are you cold? She can easily get you some warmer clothes or warm you up herself. She’ll come up with any excuse to keep you to here. Don’t get it wrong though, she still has lots of respect for you and your word is still law. If you stay stubborn about leaving the snowy nation, she’ll give up and let you leave. But she will always have an eye on you so don’t worry :)
-
If you pick one of the ADEPTI Liyue feels honored, you may not have feelings for their Archon but the Adepti are the next best thing, right? The rest of Teyvat are a bit confused, what’s so special about these illuminated beasts that caught your attention?
The tactful Ganyu is conflicted if she can only pick one of her two lives. Humanity or the Adepti. Is she capable of doing both? She’ll try her hardest, her contract with Rex Lapis and her position as the secretary to the Liyue Qixing makes her schedule impossibly full. However she will always make time for you.
You mean everything to her, when she fought in the Archon War by Rex Lapis’ side it was for you. Being with you is a dream come true, it was something she always fantasized about. Although she never thought she’d actually catch your eye.
Anytime you’re in Liyue she’ll attach herself to your side catering to your every need. For once she doesn’t mind putting off her work if it means she can spend more time with you. She’ll take you to best places to eat in Liyue, bring you to drink tea with the rest of the Adepti, and if you wish to watch her spar with the Conquerors Of Demons. Well don’t blame her is she shows off a bit.
Once your stay in Liyue comes to an end, Ganyu will drown herself in her work. She has so much catching up to do and even though she regrets it now, she knows she’ll do it again once you come back to her.
-
Oh Xiao… he believes he doesn’t deserves the value you give him. As much as he cares and loves you, he came to terms that he’d only watch you from afar. He will protect Liyue for you so you can enjoy the greatest things this world has to offer. So why? He wants to ask. All of the blood he has shed over the centuries, how can you feel this way about him?
It’s obvious that Xiao has a good amount of self- depreciation, he feels as if he has to push everyone he cares about away. All of his fellow Yaksha has fallen and Xiao doesn’t want to drag anyone down with him.
Yet staying away from you is hard for him, when all you want is to be with him how can he refuse a request from his God? He fears that getting to close to you would makes his worst nightmare come true, but eating Almond Tofu with you won’t hurt anything… and maybe looking at the stars on top of Wangshuu Inn?
You are a double edged sword for Xiao, being with you makes him fear you may get hurt. However when you two are apart, he feels his karmic debt downing him.
But if you don’t show affections for him until after his time in the Chasm with Yelan and the others, he would be drastically different. He now realizes that his life, like everyone else’s, has meaning. He doesn’t have to push the ones he cares for away and he doesn’t have to constantly sacrifice himself for others.
In this instance Xiao would try way harder when it comes to being with you, he doesn’t know much about relationships or any type of customs that comes with it, but he will try for you. He doesn’t want to disappoint.
-
So it’s not the Archons nor the Adepti you desire? Well that’s completely fine! There are many other influential people that live in Teyvat. Some might even call them the LEADERS of the nation they reside in. Or maybe they are just very dependable and have gained everyone’s trust and respect.
Oh so it’s Master Diluc that you desire? Well no one in Mondstadt can blame you. He is the most desired bachelor in the nation of freedom after all. Although many are disappointed that they won’t have a chance with the tavern owner anymore, they also can’t help but feel a bit relieved that it’s you he’s with.
And my oh my, Diluc is just as surprised that you want him too, but it’s a welcome surprise. After his father died and his relationship with his brother became… strained you were all he had left. He would pray to you daily about his wine business, his tavern, or even his secret identity as the Darknight Hero.
Once you descend, his devotion to you becomes stronger.
He doesn’t trust the Knights with your safety, we all know he believes they are incompetent so once you step into Mondstadt, expect Diluc to basically be glued to your side. You want anything from the shops? Let him buy it! He has more than enough Mora to buy anything you desire. Do you want some wine? Please allow him to escort you to Dawn Winery for the finest wine he has.
Speaking of Dawn Winery, Diluc would prefer if you’d stay there. The Fatui bought out the nicest inn Mondstadt has to offer, and even though they explicitly stated they had no problem with their Crestor staying there, Diluc doesn’t want you to. He has a big issue with the Fatui and as long as you are in Mondstadt, they have no chance getting near you.
Diluc doesn’t mind when you depart Mondstadt, he knows how busy you are and he has important work to get done himself. Unless you are leaving for Snezhnaya, he will try to convince you to go somewhere else. If that doesn’t work, he will worry constantly worry about your safety in the claws of the Fatui. His prayers to you would increase until you’re back in his arms again.
-
There is no such thing as a secret in Liyue, so when you show affections Ningguang. Everyone in Liyue will find out fast. Not much is known about Ningguang and all of the things she does for Liyue, people will scramble to catch even a spec of knowledge that falls from the Jade Chamber.
But one thing everyone knows about the woman is how much she loves you. Before you descended, her daily routine would consist of praying to you as soon as she wakes, working, and praying again before she lays to rest. When Liyue throws celebrations in your name, she would give you the most lavish offerings. Not one person in Teyvat would be able to match anything she gives you.
Anytime you’re in Liyue she will force insist that you stay in her home. Have you seen a better place in Teyvat? She doubts it! Don’t forget about the amazing view she has up there too. Ningguang will also handle all of the expenses for anything you desire, she’s arguably the richest woman in Teyvat there is not one thing you’d want that would be out of her budget. If her God wants it, you will have it
She’d treat you to the most luxurious meals you will ever have, making sure everything is adjusted to your tastes. Even if the spices you like don’t originate from Liyue, she will send people to go get whatever you need. All that matters to her is to see you happy.
-
Erm, Your Grace? The one you desire is a FATUI HARBINGER? You should stay away from the likes of them. They have no good intentions, all they do is exploit innocent people and gain power over the other nations. The Fatui has no respect for…
There are only four things Childe cares for, his family, the Tsaritsa, fighting, and you. As he grew up, his family told him how amazing you were and all he dreamed about was meeting you face to face, and when he became a Fatui Harbinger he knew that would be possible.
However he got more than he would’ve ever imagined. He got to call you his.
Childe has no issue killing anyone for you, if anyone goes against you, he will take care of it.
Unlike anyone before, Childe will want to go everywhere with you, he’s already a Harbinger so he’s used to traveling to all of the nations and not only that, he has the money to go anywhere too (thank Pantalone for that smh)
He will rub this in the faces of his comrades, he’s the youngest Harbinger, the lowest ranked but he still managed to snag your attention? Yeah, they’re not living this down.
When it’s just the two of you though he’s soft, he’d love for you to meet his family. They mean so much to him just like you do, to have you all in the same room would make him so happy.
-
Where should I start with the Balladeer? He‘s a puppet and doesn’t have a heart, but these feeling he has for you is strong.
At first he tries to push you away, his… mother cares so much for you and as he tries to distance himself from her, he thought that meant he had to hate you. But he couldn’t…
As he tried to find meaning within himself, everyone kept telling him to turn to you. Even his own friend that tragically died had told him that your divine light would guide him in the right direction. He didn’t want to listen.
Once he had joined the Fatui he figured he wouldn’t hear about you again, but oh boy was he wrong. He hadn’t met anyone more devoted to you than this group, everything they do is for you. All of the killing, exploiting, experimenting, and lying was done in your name and honor.
Scaramouche needed something to latch on to, his mother thought he was useless, and unbeknownst to him at the time, his attachment to the Fatui was a complete lie.
He will try to be useful in any way he can. The Fatui wouldn’t matter to him anymore, getting his hands on the Electro Gnosis doesn’t matter, all that matters is what you want.
With you around, he finally has something to fill his heart with, he will do anything and everything not to upset you. The last thing he wants is for you to throw him away like everyone else.
-
So it’s the Doctor that you want? Can’t say that I blame you…
On the surface, it would seem that Dottore doesn’t worship you. He won’t deny your existence if asked but if he’s asked if he worships you, he’s closed off about it.
Even in his days in the Akademiya he would always pray to you for luck before his studies or exams (not that he needed it). When he was interested in ancient machines and wanted to know more, he would pray to you for a breakthrough to prove to the Akademiya scholars and sages that this is what they should be studying. However he was chased out before that could happen.
He didn’t blame you for it, in fact, leaving Sumeru had given him a better opportunity, the Fatui. They actually funded any experiment he desired, whether it was about the ancient machines, the Archons, or the secrets of Teyvat, he would know it all.
However once you arrived, you took all his attention.
It’s not that he wanted to experiment on your per say, it’s just… he wanted to know more about you! You’re the God of Gods, you have power people on Teyvat could only imagine having. Being able to take a closer look at you would mean everything.
Once the two of you become close, Sumeru are the first to regret it, the one you favor is someone they had thrown out of their nation not just once, but twice. They feel absolutely foolish.
Since you’re a God, Dottore definitely believes your have greater intelligence than the God of Wisdom herself and he would love to “poke at your brain” if you allow him, he would ask you questions about wherever you were before coming to Teyvat and how Teyvat was many centuries ago.
If this is before his time in Sumeru and creating his own God, he would still have his Segments from previous times in his life. Yeah… they’re all devoted to you too. So if you like Dottore, that means them too right?
I think it’s clear that he and his Segments do not get along, they’d all be fighting for your attention lmao (obviously he wins all the time) but if Dottore is too busy with his Harbinger duties he doesn’t mind if you want to spend time with them. It’s better than you running to someone else for attention.

“Zhongli, you literally look like the Geo Archon statue. How come nobody’s suspected anything?”
“Trust me my dear, I have been questioned once.” Zhongli smiles in amusement at the memory.
He recounts to you a time when he had first taken on this form as Zhongli of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, and was wandering around the outskirts of the harbor. A young man stopped him, squinting at Zhongli’s handsome (and very ostentatiously amber -eyed) countenance. Zhongli recognised him as one of his coworkers, and greeted him.
The man, ignoring his greeting, instead told him pointedly, “You look a lot like Rex Lapis, you know. From the statues around Liyue.”
Zhongli merely tilted his head with a soft chuckle. “Rex Lapis dons a hood. How could you discern such a far-fetched thing?”
The coworker, shaking his head, continued, “And your eyes are shiny and golden. Like Rex Lapis in his stories.”
“That is merely my natural brown eye colour enhanced a faint golden thanks to my Geo vision.” Despite himself, Zhongli’s heartbeat gets a tad faster.
“And you’re quite knowledgeable on things even my grandpa can’t know!” exclaims the other man, exasperated. “Obscure bits of lore even seasoned historians are confounded by! No to mention you’ve got this…old aura about you. Like you’re wayyy older than we all think. It’s like…you’re…”
Zhongli has the faintest of a frown on his face as he sees the fellow’s accusatory look. “Go on.”
“You must be…”
Zhongli thought he should remove human feelings of nervousness from his bodily constitution altogether. A single bead of sweat materialised on his forehead as he waited for the man’s answer.
“…You must be a really, really big fan of Rex Lapis!”
His lungs deflated in a huge sigh of relief. “Ah yes…yes, that may be the case. Yes, I am indeed a devout follower of Rex Lapis.”

Plush toy
pairing: sagau!Zhongli x Reader
summary: Zhongli performs his evening prayer, goes to bed and suddenly finds himself in your plush toy.
warnings: yandere, possessive & obsessive thoughts, religious + cult themes.
word count: 1.1k
note: Okay, I give up, I just can't stop writing at night. My body and inspiration are in cahoots to keep me from writing during the day. I ordered acrylic stands with Zhongli and Dottore, it remains to wait for them to arrive. Life is not so bad (looks askance at the last exam, it would be better without you)
Tumblr media
Zhongli kneels and clasps his hands in prayer, as he has done so many times before. He was in his apartment on the harbor in a room dedicated to you, with a statue of you that he personally sculpted with his geo powers. Once at a time, he tried to capture your image in stone, and he considered this his attempt the most successful of all, even if it did not fully convey all your grace, mercy, power, beauty. But this is all he could be content with until the moment you go down to Teyvat physically.
On especially bad days, when his longing for you became especially strong, when he could no longer pretend that a life spent not in your radiance was meaningless, Zhongli stood in front of your statue for days, desperately praying. Praying for your return, not allowing himself to be interrupted for a second, whispering through cracked lips, when every word was a blade passing through a parched throat, he wanted to feel all your splendor, and not the pitiful crumbs that he felt next to the traveler.
His soul still found solace when you were around, even if your presence was ephemeral, but deep in his heart, Zhongli wanted to see your physical form. To be able to hear your voice, to see how emotions change on your face, to finally give all the gifts accumulated over the millennia. To dress you up in Liyue's best outfits made from the most expensive silk, feed you the most delicious meals, and be able to directly enjoy your divine presence, which always filled his heart with warmth. He desperately wanted it all, with all his draconic greed.
Zhongli finishes his daily evening prayer and, before leaving the room, takes one last look at your statue, full of longing and reverence. He performs evening routines, go to bed and slowly falls asleep, his last thought is about you. If he had a chance to see you even for a second, there's nothing he wouldn't do.
When Zhongli opens his eyes, his vision is very hazy and blurry, the body seems somehow cottony, completely motionless and small. He tries to blink and move, but he can't. When the vision finally becomes clear again, Zhongli's heart skips a beat and then begins to beat furiously. He sees you sitting at the table behind some strange luminous rectangle on which pictures move. Zhongli desperately tries to call you, but no sound escapes his lips. He couldn't move, couldn't speak. How could this happen? He just fell asleep, and now he was here next to you, though in some very strange state.
Everything becomes completely unimportant when Zhongli hears your laughter and notices your smile. You were beautiful, perfect, his wish came true, he was so close to you, directly watching you. For about fifteen more minutes, which seemed to him the most wonderful eternity in the world, Zhongli simply absorbed your emotions, your appearance, he was unable to get enough of you. You were his oasis in the middle of the desert to which he walked for five thousand years.
When the rectangle in front of you goes out, you get up from your seat and leave the room. He glares at you longingly, but now at least Zhongli has the opportunity to analyze the situation in which he finds himself. He collects his thoughts and tries to sort out his sensation and what he sees. A minute later, Zhongli comes to the conclusion that he was in a plush toy, out of the corner of his eye he can see others nearby. Well, it was strange, but he wasn't going to complain, rather, on the contrary, he was infinitely grateful for the opportunity to be near you, even so. It's true that you didn't seem to know about his presence, Zhongli wouldn't want to invade your life without permission, but it doesn't seem like he had a choice, he couldn't even close his eyes.
For the next half hour he hears a noise water and assumes that you are taking a bath. Zhongli can't help but look at the interior of your room, the colors in which it is decorated, the arrangement of furniture, trying to memorize as much as possible so that he can then reproduce the furnishings in Liyue later. All to increase the chances that you will like the place he created and want to stay.
Zhongli notices several photos, they show you with some people, joyful and smiling. Who were they? Other followers who have been given the great honor of being pictured with you in the same image? Or is it someone more important to you? The reason why you still have not descended to Teyvat fully, Zhongli feels jealousy and anger in his heart for those who dared to take your attention. But all negative thoughts fly out of his head when you return back to the room. You are wearing only a bathrobe and Zhongli definitely swallowed dryly if he could, your skin looks so soft, steamed, tender, the way it glistens in the lamplight, it makes the butterflies in his stomach flutter. It seems to him that he is not worthy to see this picture, the beautiful work of art that you are now.
When you approach and take him in your arms, Zhongli feels a moment of panic. Did you know he was here? How could he justify himself? But you just take him and go to bed. When you turn off the light and lie down next to him, he holds his breath. You cover yourself with a blanket and pull the toy that he was now towards you and Zhongli's mind thrashes about. It was all so much like a dream, a wonderful false dream, too beautiful to be true. Before you fall asleep, you kiss him briefly and he melts like a mist flower corolla on a hot day. Zhongli hears how your breathing becomes calmer and more measured and just enjoys this sound, gradually he is lulled, although he is desperately trying not to fall asleep so as not to miss a moment with you, but he does not succeed.
Zhongli wakes up from the sun's rays hitting his face, and as soon as memories reach him, he immediately jumps up on the bed, staring into the void in prostration. Did he dream everything? But you were so alive, so real in his memories. The whole next day, Zhongli is extremely confused and Hu Tao sends him home early, and he doesn't even try to dissuade her. You completely occupy all his thoughts, and in his heart the hope burns that this was something more than a dream. And when he goes to bed after the evening prayer, Zhongli longs to see you again. Just one more time.
Dragons were known for their greed, so he would never get enough. Always one more time and never the last. After all, the more he had, the more he wanted.

Hello Soulmate
Tumblr media
🔸Zhongli x Reader Drabble🔸
Summary: You've had a weird soulmark on your wrist since you were young. Who knew it was the soulmark of a god who has waited for you for almost 6000 years?
CW: Fluff, soulmate au
Word Count: 1428 words!
--❤❤❤--
Imagine Zhongli, in all his years alive, has never found his soulmate.
On his chest above his heart, a small bird symbol lays dormant. If it wasn't for the very obvious mark, he'd believe he never had a soul mate to begin with.
But not once in his thousands of years on Teyvat, had it ever lit up, or burned, or glowed. Tell tale signs a soulmate is alive, and that you have met them, or that they were nearby.
His did none of those. It just sat innocently on his chest.
At least it wasn't ashen grey, showing his soulmate had passed.
He had long grown not to expect his soul mate to appear. Zhongli did have hope after becoming an Archon, hoping that would make finding you easier.
But you never once showed up.
Eventually time went on, and he no longer felt hope.
Well, that would be a lie.
He felt hope, but it had long since grown into a warm, smoldering coal, instead of the blazing fire it once was.
The dragon knew if he were to still meet you in this life, he would love and cherish you, excited beyond belief.
But that day had yet to come.
So with a heavy heart, he went through with the death of Rex Lapis.
It was one of the most difficult decisions he had ever made. But it had to be done, regardless if he truly wanted to step down or not.
Erosion would eventually come its way for him, much like it had done to Azhdaha. It was best to let his country grow on its own two legs, and be prepared for when that day came, whether it be in a hundred years, or a thousand.
A part of him worried you would come, only when he was beginning to wither.
Zhongli didn't want you to see him like that. You already missed him in his prime, but he had nightmares of meeting his soul mate when his mind started to erode.
But it had to be done.
He wasn't too surprised to see your mark on his human vessel, though he still felt so empty. Deep down, he yearned to hold his soulmate, even now.
So when he was sipping tea one day, taking his time for an order for Director Hu, he dropped his tea cup when he felt a burn on his chest, right above his vessels heart.
His eyes widen as he reaches up to touch the spot. For once, he curses himself for wearing so many clothes.
He's leaving the tea house he is in, uncaring if the mora he slammed down on the table was enough to cover his meal. Rushing to his small home he had bought years ago, Zhongli slams through the door, almost stumbling to his room.
Ripping off his clothes, he shakes as he sees it in the mirror.
Your soulmate mark, alive and glowing warmly on his chest.
He stares in wonder, fingers gently reaching up, touching the delicate looking mark with awe.
You were real. You were alive. You were close by.
Old instincts pushed at the boundaries in his mind, and he forced them back down.
Not now. You were alive. You were real. He had time.
Rex Lapis waited 6000 years for you. Zhongli could wait just a little longer.
Meanwhile, you had an odd soulmate mark, ever since it first materialized as a child.
It was the Geo symbol. Just that, the Geo symbol.
Your parents had been stumped since the mark showed itself, on the inside of your wrist clear as day.
It glowed a stunning amber, and was outlined in black. Whoever it was, was alive and well.
Most marks had very interesting meanings. But THE Geo symbol?
It had your parents scratching their heads.
Not once had anyone you met had any symbol similar. Never had anyone seen a mark of one of the elemental sigils.
As you got older, it only brought more questions than answers.
Though you remember talking about it with a friend in the bar in Mondstadt, when the bard there asked about it when he saw it on your wrist in passing.
"You know... It might be someone from Liyue that uses a Geo vision. Or maybe an adeptus that works with Rex Lapis? Who knows, maybe even Rex Lapis himself?"
The bard then laughed, and your face went red at the remark. You? Being able to claim a god as your soulmate? Please.
The head of the bar ended up dragging him away, though the mischievous, almost knowing look that bard sent you over his shoulder had you second guessing yourself.
His words kept whispering in your head. Maybe your soulmate was in Liyue? That was the nation's symbol after all. If anything, it would be a good place to start looking.
After all, you always felt sometimes you had to grab fate by the horns and take control of it yourself.
So when you packed a bag and headed out, your parents tearfully waving goodbye behind you, you didn't think much of it.
If you found them, then you did. If not, you could always go home.
Though you weren't expecting your mark to burn when you stopped to rest at a Statue of the Seven near the harbor. The late Rex Lapis' statue.
A part of your mind grew anxious at this news. Your mark glowing and burning like this.
"Who knows, maybe even Rex Lapis himself?"
The bard's words echoed almost tauntingly in your mind.
You tried not to sadly laugh as you felt the warmth flow through your body.
Of course, if it really was Rex Lapis, it would only be your luck it was a dead god you were tied to. If only you had been a year sooner...
But that didn't mean Rex Lapis' spirit was gone. You had read the papers, and Lady Ningguang had mentioned a dream where he told her about how he had perished.
Or something like that.
Perhaps that was what this was then? Since he was a god, that's why your mark wasn't ashen grey? His spirit was strong enough to live on?
How cruel. If that was what this was, your soulmate was taken from you far too-
"I found you."
You scream as you spin around, and a man with the most gorgeous amber eyes you have ever seen is standing behind you.
He looked a bit disheveled. His clothes almost haphazardly thrown on. You got the impression he normally didn't look like this.
The mark on your wrist pulsed, and your eyes widened.
"You..." You began, though you couldn't think of the words you wanted to say.
The man is quick to unbutton his shirt, and tug it to the side.
When you saw the glowing bird, pulsing on his chest above his heart, you knew.
That mark was yours.
Carefully, you lowered your wrist, and he oh so carefully reached out for it. His hands were so gentle as they took your own, as if you were made of glass.
The spark that followed as a thumb ran across the symbol, left you breathless.
"My symbol..." He murmured, in awe over the small mark.
But you could already tell there was weight behind those words.
His eyes snapped back to your own, and you saw it.
This man... he was older than he looked. Those eyes were the ones of an old soul.
You felt power radiating from him, and your mouth went dry.
"You aren't... human, are you?"
It wasn't so much a question, as it was a statement.
The man blinked, almost in surprise, before he began to laugh.
It was a gentle one, one that had your heart pounding in your chest.
He smiled at you, eyes glowing bright.
"I should have known my soulmate would be able to figure it out first thing."
"Who knows, maybe even Rex Lapis himself?"
Those word rang in your mind once more, and you found yourself speaking before you could think about what you were asking.
"...Rex... Lapis...?" You asked, almost unsure, though the thought somehow felt so right.
His eyes seemed to brighten, along with his smile.
He brought your hand up to his mouth, and kissed the Geo symbol on your wrist, sending shivers through out your body. He then nuzzled against your hand, eyes never leaving your own. The loving look he sent you left you almost breathless.
"Hello, my dear. It's nice to finally meet you."

𝔫𝔬𝔟𝔲’𝔰 𝔨𝔦𝔫𝔨𝔱𝔬𝔟𝔢𝔯 𝔬𝔣 2023!
day 6: wax play with kaeya from genshin impact
warnings: wax play, slight heat play, cumming untouched, bondage
notes: some fics might be shorter than the others. pls note that my brain juice is running out
Tumblr media
there is a certain difference to every vision users in teyvat. it’s subtle and it varies in forms from person to person but for someone such as yourself who has been with your dear cavalry captain and experimented with him for long enough on many things, you can tell easily.
geo vision users tend to be steadfast in what they believe in. hydro users have a strong sense of justice and right and wrong. dendro users are uniquely smart in their own different fields. electro users are considered different and shut out from the world. anemo users tend to have a strong sense or longing for freedom. pyro users are without explanation, have higher than usual body temperature.
and cryo users?
cryo users make such a cute whines and whimpers of your name as their hands struggle against the ropes keeping his legs open and hands behind him.
cryo users jolt in their place as the hot wax of the candle drips down on their exposed nipple, twitching in place and whining about how mean you are.
cryo users cum untouched. the crotch of his pants turning a darker color as his face burns up in shame, feeling the sting and the delicious feeling of the hot material making contact with his skin again and again.
“guuhg—! da-darling! ‘m too sensiggihk♡︎” kaeya lets out an embarrassingly loud shrill squeal, hands pulling on the ropes keeping his hands behind his back desperately. what a sight.
the cavalry captain of the knights of favonius, all spread open, half-naked as the hot wax of the candle dribbles down his already sensitive chest. blue and purple hickies adorning his neck like a pretty necklace. bitemarks painting his shoulders a beautiful red color. hands tied behind his back. legs spread open for you by another different set of ropes.
you could see the wet patch on his pants grow bigger and bigger the more you let the wax drip and fall on his skin. hips buckling as much as the ropes allow, whining out about how sensitive he was, how he couldn’t take it much more but never safewording.
another drop, another whine of how it stings.
another drop, another sound akin to a mewl as he begs you to just touch his cock.
another drop, another plea of what seems to be your name stumbling out of his lips. if only he was coherent enough to just say your name but he wasn’t.
another drop, another…
oh. you would have never guessed your cocky lover would be this sensitive over a simple act of wax play. about halfway done with the third medium sized long candle and he cums untouched in his clothes again. hips buckling, letting out an ashamed noise.
kaeya couldn’t bring himself to look you in the eyes. just before this kinky act began, he was acting all tough and cocky as usual. saying he could take anything you give him. saying how he was the toughest captain in the knights of favonius. how you could never make him so sensitive to the point he would be left gasping and heaving for breath.
yet here he was, eating his own words as he softly pleads for you to properly touch him.
what a sight, indeed.

Head empty just
Sagau but readers cellphone now has infinite battery for some reason and theyre on tiktok and watching genshin edits until one of the acolytes sees and gets curious so reader shows everyone the edits made for then
Zhongli: why am i........geo grandpa
Xiao: morax isn't my father
Yae: what is an........Eiussy and why do these humans want it so bad
Venti: (trying to force scara to have anemo vision after seeing the sad scaramouche edits) BUT THE EDITS, YOUR BACKSTORY IS SCREAMING AIR BOY!!!
Scara: GET THE FUCK OFF ME!!!!
WHOOO MY FIRST REQUEST ASK!!!
anyways-
When I tell you that a phone in TEYVAT would be absolute chaos… I mean it.
I can 99% guarantee you that Albedo has asked to experiment on what he refers to as Their Grace’s “strange device.”
(Please keep your phone away from him, as it will not make it out of his lab intact.)
Other acolytes who aren’t as curious about HOW and WHY it works may find interest on seeing you use your device to watch videos.
The people of Teyvat aren’t familiar with advanced technology, so I’d assume it’s fair to say that they would treat your phone as a Divine Object, comparable to the Anemo Archon’s Holy Lyre.
Since you are The Creator, it would be valued a lot more.
Nobody, not even one of the Archons, is allowed to touch such a holy object. Such a thing would be viewed as incredibly disrespectful. How could any of them, lowly acolytes, have the audacity to come into contact with your beloved “phone”?
Now, assuming that the reader can still watch Tik Toks, of course they would like to share some of them with certain characters, because why not?
Also, why wouldn’t you let them in on some of the jokes that are popular in the Genshin Fandom?
If Zhongli knew that he was referred to as “Geo Grandpa” I think his reaction would be one of initial shock.
“What does the title ‘Geo Grandpa’ indicate, Divine One?”
After a little explanation from you, I think he’d catch on. He is aware of his age, after all.
Others may think that the title “Grandpa” is offensive towards a former archon of all things, but he doesn’t mind as long as you are the one saying it. The term “Grandpa” is often used between mortals in a family, so does this mean that you considered him as family?
Whenever you call him by that name, you can expect to see a soft smile across his features.
When Xiao discovered that the fandom considers his relationship with Morax to be one of father and son, he was speechless for a good minute.
You gave him a look, trying to suppress your laughter.
“So…? You’re not denying it.”
He huffed, crossing his arms. “Morax is not my father.”
You wheezed, clearly amused by his flustered expression. Xiao was avoiding your gaze, clearly trying his best to convince you that he did not see the older man as a father figure.
The term “Eiussy” was completely unknown to the Lady Guuji… until she joined you in watching the short films know as “Tik Toks” on the magical screen of the divine “phone”
Now, Yae Miko is quite clever, so it was only natural that she would grasp the concept of what “Eiussy” meant.
She watched a few videos which featured similar titles, such as “Tartussy”, “Scarussy”, and “Kokussy”. All of them played a key role in her eventual understanding of just what exactly “Eiussy” meant.
The very moment she learns the true meaning, I can guarantee you that she will casually bring it up in conversation.
“Your Grace, you would be welcome at Watatsumi Island anytime!” Gorou beams, waving goodbye to you from the docks of Ritou.
The Watatsumi ship had finally arrived, after a lengthy delay following your business meeting with the Inazuman Officials.
“Thank you, Gorou.” You started to say… but the ever famed doggy general had already boarded the ship, and was out of your sight.
“Hmm…” a recognizable voice trailed, as her hand lightly touched your shoulder. Miko gave you a knowing look. “I guess he wanted to get some of that Divineussy”
Your expression remained blank.
“Perfect use of that title.” You praised, staring after the ship, as it departed into the sunset.
If and when Venti saw all of the sad Scaramouche edits… let’s just say that you’d have to physically restrain him.
Restrain him from making his way over to the Balladeer as soon as possible, that is.
Scaramouche would just be doing Fatui work, maybe trying to convince the recruits that the stars are indeed a lie…
And… bam.
A random ass bard pops up out of nowhere.
“Good day! Would you be interested in gaining an anemo vision?”
“What the fuck.”

Equivalence and Obligations
Yan!Zhongli x F!Reader [nsfw] /// PART TWO HERE
CW : yandere themes / smut / dubcon / big power imbalance / porn with (long) plot
Word Count : 4153
800. 250. 1240. 733. 10869.
That was last week.
560. 400. 3080. 991.
That was for this week, until now.
You were counting the various amounts of mora you had have lent recently. Not that you didn’t like the person who borrowed some money from you, but you had the feeling that you weren’t going to get a single mora back. After all, you didn’t actually ‘lend’ it but you ‘paid’ for someone else, who every single time didn’t have anything in his pockets. Zhongli, as good as his company can be, never brings mora with himself, even when he was the one to invite you.
Nonetheless, it didn’t bother you as much, since you had the means to sponsor your rendez-vous. Ever since you were a little kid, you’ve always wanted to be an adventurer and since it was quite a viable career, your parents supported you – as long as you promised to not make them too worried about your wellbeing. Fighting slimes, hilichurls or whopper flowers has always been a thrilling experience. Bigger ones like Ruin Guards or Ruin Hunters were more challenging but the pride of victory was always worth it, especially as you did not wield any vision. As bitter you could be, you vowed to become on par with anyone who was blessed with one, with your trusted weapon only.
Still, you secretly wished to obtain a Geo vision one day, due to how much admiration you’ve had for Rex Lapis, Liyue’s revered Archon. Thus, even if you couldn’t fight using the Geo element, you had the choice when picking a weapon and yours was a polearm, just like his. Of course, obtaining Rex Lapis’ sacred weapon, Vortex Vanquisher, was no easy task. That is why you often paid visits to Master Zhang, the local blacksmith, so he could repair yours from occasional scratches but also make it look as close as possible to your fantasy. A dream is a dream, as long as it kept you going. At least, that was what you thought to yourself when doubt filled your heart.
One not so particular afternoon, you met Zhongli at Master Zhang’s place. Rumours about him had long reached your ears but you never had the opportunity to meet him face to face, being too busy on the battlefield and completing various commissions from citizens. He couldn’t help but notice the singularity of your spear, so he asked you a question. Then two. Then three. Before you could heed the change of scenery in the vast sky above you, the sun hid and the moonlight shone bright. Even though almost all citizens of Liyue knew about Rex Lapis, no one, even the most renown scholars, was as versed as Zhongli in the matter. Letting such opportunity go to waste was not an option, thus you offered him to drink some tea near Chihu Rock and maybe listen to some fables by the storyteller performing there.
Zhongli had met numerous Rex Lapis admirers, even truly loyal devotees, but your vigorous interest made him interested in you in return. His true identity was no public matter, as he wished to watch his land prevail without him, like a parent watching his well grown child achieve goals and dreams without his constant presence. Therefore, fighting off the urge to give you some hints was quite crucial if he firmly wished to remain incognito. Though, keeping one secret did not mean he couldn’t converse with you on some lesser-known parts of Liyue and Rex Lapis’ history, to your greatest delight. Your faces, your expressions, your reactions, all of that made him feel warmer inside, as well as quite gratified.
He himself had all the time in the world, but you had your own duties, so you had to leave after chatting for what seemed like hours and hours. You promised to meet each other some day later, so it wasn’t truly a good bye.
Each encounter brought you much joy, as you’ve never had the occasion to talk that much about your idol. People usually grew tired after some time, but Zhongli gave you the impression that he wouldn’t be the one to stop you, but that it will have to be you to stop him before you fall asleep. But, you doubted you could ever get bored when talking about someone as great and magnificent as Rex Lapis and you made sure your interlocutor knew. You noticed Zhongli’s eyes would have a faint look of satisfaction when you praised Liyue’s Archon, but you always assumed that it was because he was also a man of culture, who could appreciate Rex Lapis’ grandeur and glory. Unfortunately, time was never on your side so you had to make plans for another time to continue the conversation, and that every time you had met up.
Meeting Zhongli meant talking endlessly about Rex Lapis, but it also meant spending mora to make it more enjoyable for you two. Though, your true motive was to make sure Zhongli would get something out of this and to somehow encourage him to accept meeting you in the future. Just in case he would be hesitant. Truth is, Zhongli would never decline any of your invitations, on the contrary. Scholars can be entertaining, especially when they bring up a different take on history, but none of them was half as invested as you showed yourself to be. So, why not let you have your fun, if it brings no harm to anyone ?
Although it was indeed quite enjoyable to spend time with you, what was less enjoyable is the feeling of a lack of reciprocation. Yes, he fuelled your thirst for knowledge about your beloved Archon, but you also kept buying all sorts of meals and that for a few weeks by now. Your unrivalled devotion had different effects on him, some of them became clear to him over time. As the God of Contract, this was not an equivalent exchange and he had to change that. Moreover, he had a good idea of how he could repay you.
After Liyue’s Lantern Festival, the harbour regained its initial peaceful yet energetic pace. Those who lived in other cities or even regions had all gone home. The streets and shops weren’t as busy and you quite enjoyed the calmer atmosphere, especially since you had yet another planned evening to be spent with Zhongli, who had become closer to you than when you first met. Of course, your preferred topics were the ones related to Rex Lapis in a way or another, but you often caught yourself mention bits and moments of your own life. Zhongli never tried to switch topics however, which made you feel relieved and more comfortable each time. Opening up about deeper and more intimate subjects wasn’t something you often did, as you didn’t really have anyone willing to lend you a compassionate ear. Zhongli, on the other hand, never failed to show interest in anything you could say, as meaningless or meaningful it could be. From your daily ventures to slices from your personal life. All of it.
His intense gaze, his understanding expression and facing posture all were signs for you to know how much he cared and encouraged you to keep going, to tell him more, as much as there is to tell. He never pushed you beyond your boundaries, no. When he sensed you were getting a tiny bit less detailed, he smoothly redirected the conversation on something less tricky for you to talk about. After all, he himself did not tell you the whole truth. Yet.
That evening, he suggested for you to dine at the famous Xinyue Kiosk, which served Yue cuisine. One of your most favourite places to eat at, actually. Their seafood dishes were unmatched. You decided to pick your safe dish, Fullmoon Egg. Truly an exquisite dish, Zhongli asserted. He himself ordered one Golden Crab, a crab dish cooked in the ancient ways. You two requested some tea, which always accompanied your outings. For someone who liked traditions and old ‘things’, you thought it was a nice touch to have something consistent when it was just you two. To make it more special. Zhongli suggested Hulao Maofeng tea, which can be made only with leaves picked up at the highest peaks of Mount Hulao. Picking up those leaves can be perilous; a handful of incautious tea pluckers had met a sad fate as they got trapped in amber. As Zhongli explained you the quite lengthy history and customs of this particular tea, you couldn’t help but think of how expensive it had to be – and how much you would have to pay as well. Oh well. It wasn’t like you hated being there, with Zhongli alongside.
Once you two had finished your delicious meals, you stood up with your purse in hand before a hand blocked your path. Unexpectedly, Zhongli did not seem to want to let you pay for you two.
“Is something the matter ?” you questioned him, a concerned look on your face. Something was off.
“Oh, do not worry. Tonight is a quite special occurrence. As such, I would love to have you enjoy it with no care at all.” he simply responded, softly smiling. He stood up from his own seat, your eyes following his gracious movements.
“But…do you have, uh…” your hesitant words were unfinished but their meaning was properly conveyed nonetheless, earning you a chuckle from Zhongli. With anyone else than him, this would signify that indeed he had the mora to pay. But this was not ‘anyone else’. It was the man who never had a single mora whatsoever. And you had no idea that tonight was supposed to be special enough for him to actually have that much to fully cover for the dinner.
“Of course. After all, I was the one who suggested this place. I am well aware of your situation, but I do not wish to weight on you too heavily. Notably, not tonight.” He confidently declared. You watched his back, as Zhongli walked toward the counter to pay and to your surprise, he did bring mora, and a huge bag of it. You could see that he even brought too much, which was unthinkable for your companion. Oh Archons, oh Rex Lapis ! What on earth did you miss ? It was surely not your birthday, neither was it his. You knew by heart all of the important dates related to Rex Lapis that, in your opinion, everyone should celebrate and none of them matched. While you were lost in your thoughts, a perplexed expression crept up your face and was obvious enough for Zhongli to inquire as he came back to you.
“Is everything alright ? Did you suddenly remember an urgent matter ?” he worriedly asked, not aware of how his previous actions looked out of place.
“Don’t worry ! I was just wondering…why is today so special ? I hope my question wouldn’t offend you in any way tough…” you sheepishly seeked an answer, a hand under your nose covering your mouth. By now, Zhongli could spot any and each of your mannerisms, as well as understand how it displayed your state of mind and emotions. That one hand motion could tell him that you were quite flustered, almost ashamed. He felt a bit guilty, since he hadn’t told you yet what this was all about. But now was not the moment, the prime opportunity shall present itself in due time.
“Dear, do not concern yourself with this. I may have not told you yet why tonight will remain memorable, but soon enough you will know.” he explained in a very calm, very typical tone of his, making you feel slightly more at ease thanks to the sense of familiarity.
“Howbeit, it has gotten awfully late. Would you fancy a walk ? Of course, I would accompany you back home if you would not mind.” Zhongli suggested, taking the lead once again. Tonight might have been fairly surprising but you did not mind any of the novelties. If you really think about it, the meal itself had to have covered all the ‘loans’ in their entirety actually. But he also offered to take you home ? Zhongli truly did have praiseworthy manners, you thought to yourself, feeling your cheeks warm up. After all, he did manage to make you feel pretty special so far.
The walk to your home was pleasant. A soft night breeze swirled around you and the bright moon shining through the travelling clouds made it all look so perfectly peaceful. What a wonderful night. Nothing in the world could shift that mood around. Except for the inevitable parting moment at your doorstep, which you honestly did not wish for. In fact, you hoped that Zhongli would agree to stay a little longer. You had previously invited him into your cosy home, for some tea. So you gathered all the courage in your heart and turned around to face him. You looked up and met his beautiful amber eyes, reminding you of the radiant jade imprisoning careless voyagers in the various stories told earlier.
“I really enjoyed our evening spent together…” you started, a little bit hesitant. Zhongli naturally caught wind of that and with a comforting smile, he succeeded once again to reassure you.
“…But I really wish we could chat a little longer, if you have time of course… I wouldn’t want to bother you, knowing how busy you are with your work at the parlor.” You courageously managed to finish your sentence but as soon as your words escaped your mouth, you felt quite embarrassed by your own selfish request. It was indeed way past midnight by then, not many shops were still open and merchants were closing their stores one by one.
“I am actually quite pleased and thankful for your invitation, as I myself hoped for the same.” Zhongli reciprocated, his smile widening and eyes sparkling.
You did not waste a second, you opened the door and gestured for him to come inside. It was quite dark but instead of turning on the lamps hanging off the ceiling, you opened a close drawer containing never once used candles. You had them in there getting dusted as you saw no use for them, but you were glad that you didn’t sell your candles away. They were not just any candles but handmade. And Zhongli’s very keen eye noticed that.
“By any chance, could you be the one who crafted those candles ? I have never seen anything like that in local markets, as the fragrances usually sold do not seem to match the ones you’re holding.” Zhongli asked you, a hand under his chin – a very familiar pose he had whenever he got interested in something he saw or heard. Or smelled, for that matter.
“Yes ! I once had the chance to visit a professional who taught a small group how to make candles yourself. We could freely pick the perfume we wanted to add to the melting wax, but I personally think that most perfumes are too strong. So I simply added some flower distillate.” your words conveyed your enthusiasm, while you lit up the candles one by one and set them on a small table made of pine wood in your living room, which was also where you slept. Even though adventuring didn’t keep you from living nicely, owning a bigger place in the heart of Liyue was still not for your means. At least, your kitchen and bathroom were separate rooms and you were grateful for that. Your home was comfortable for you and it was all thanks to your achievements as an adventurer.
“Indeed, we can smell the flowery essence. Quite delicate, I would even add. Could this be an extract of Glaze Lily concentrate ?” Zhongli guessed. While he did recognise the scent, after knowing you and how much your revered Rex Lapis, it was not difficult to correctly assume which flower you would prefer. Last time he visited you, you showed him your vase made of Cor Lapis, in which you carefully arranged fresh Glaze Lilies. Really, it was adorable.
“Was it that obvious ?” you bashfully giggled. It wasn’t as a question for him as it was for you. At this rate, the only thing missing would be a Rex Lapis body pillow. But this would mean no more friends coming over ever again. There was a limit to how much you could proudly show your veneration to others. Especially those who would know instantly. In other words, Zhongli.
“Would you like some tea, as per usual ?” you offered him, in a clear attempt to change topics.
The soft glow and silky fragrance embracing the room, you two enjoyed a warm cup of tea on the mattress set on the floor. You weren’t facing each other, but you still kept a respectable distance – until Zhongli shifted his position and got closer to you. You couldn’t help but stare at the dancing brilliance in his eyes, too distracted to notice the raging passion. You were so grateful to have met such a wonderful friend, who didn’t judge you for anything. Even though Rex Lapis was a well-loved Archon, not every person born and raised in Liyue admired him as much as you did. He was a true role model, guiding you through and through. If you could meet him, you would thank him for everything. Your face appeared so soft, your gaze so tender, although you were simply lost in your thoughts.
You were forcibly brought back to reality when you noticed Zhongli’s face get closer, his hand cupping your cheek, closing his eyes and his lips coming in contact with yours. Usually, both parties close their eyes and enjoy the moment. But you couldn’t. The shock prevented you from forming a single thought. Your racing heart could explode at any moment.
Zhongli pulled back and saw the look on your face. When he should have been fazed, he had a vainglorious expression, which confused you even more.
“My dear. I am grateful for your formidable love, from all those years. That is why I wish to reward you tonight.” Zhongli serenely spoke, all the while he gently but firmly pressed you on you back against the matress you were seating on precedently.
His lips bruised yours once again, as you even so slightly opened your mouth in order to protest. You attempted to push him away, hoping you were strong enough. However, your wrists were caught in a swift motion and pinned above your head with an unyielding – making you feel powerless as intended. After all, what could you do if an absolute being were to entrap you under his oppressive build ? In truth, you were not supposed to do anything against the said deity. You were meant to not only accept, but to welcome his favour.
Zhongli sensed you were in dire need for air. He barely moved away, giving you such little space to breathe. After quickly catching your breath, you gave him a pleading look.
“I-I really can’t do this…” you implored the man on top of you, expecting him to go back to his usual gentleman-like self. Zhongli let out a sign, you wishfully assumed he was about to apologize, or something along those lines.
“My apologies, dear.” Zhongli’s words made you feel bursts of relief. But it’s not for nothing that elders always told us to listen until the end. Without warning, a bright light blinds you, forcing you to tightly shut yours eyes. Once the brightness toned down, you slowly opened your eyelids and felt air being knocked out of your lungs. You simply couldn’t believe what was happening in front of your very own eyes. The person supposed to be the Zhongli you thought you knew bore eyes as bright as Cor Lapis, strands of long hair glowing the same warm hue of gold. Could it be his vision ? Or…
“I did not mean to reveal myself this early, but you leave me no choice darling.” Zhongli reluctantly confessed to you. But the bewildered look in your eyes made him sigh once again. His right hand moved your wrist under his left one. He raised his now free hand and made appear the very same Geo cube all of Rex Lapis’ statues held. And everything clicked. No wonder he knew so much about Liyue’s Archon, no wonder he always liked- no, loved hearing you talk endlessly about, well, himself. You couldn’t form a thought; no words would come out. The shock was way too much for you, your poor heart and body could only handle this much.
Morax took your silence as compliance. You finally submitted to his will, as you should be. For such a fervent follower, this wasn’t just a favour but an honour. However, you had done so much for him, it was only fair if the God of Contracts would recompensate you for your efforts.
The Geo cube he shaped just now vanished. Morax lowered himself to lustfully kiss you over and over, all the while his hand slowly roamed above your upper body, barely touching you. Once he gently cupped your breast, a moan escaped your mouth just to be swallowed in his throat. This small yet oh so telling reaction from you made Morax smirk against your lips. You just loved him that much, it was simple a suitable reaction. But no way in Celestia he would stop here. He would honour his part of the contract. An Archon did not earn such title with no ambition or greed – Morax felt the same way about you. He wanted nothing more than see you come undone under his touch and he beyond shadow of doubt intended to make it a reality.
Without interrupting your making out, his hand pulled up your shirt and fondled your breast in a firmer manner, earning more pretty moans from you, all to his delight. In a rapid and skilful movement, he switched hands and you were pinned under his right hand, earning a soft whimper out of you, while the left one resumed the gropes and caresses. Every touch made you tremble and squirm. He quickly found your preferences, even those you were not aware of. Being the oldest of the Seven, he had long fruitful millenniums to pick up any type of skill – including the know-how of pleasure.  As expected, it did not take him long enough to make of you a panting mess, much to his own gratification.
Morax leisurely released your frame by placing his hands close to your flushed face, taking a moment to observe all of the tiniest details of your slightly shivering form. You were being so good too him up until now. Would be a true shame to not grant you what you have been wishing for so long. By now, you had to be ready.
With hardly any strength, Morax pushed himself off the mattress and was kneeling over you. He slowly shifted backwards, all the while without breaking eye contact. He effortlessly pulled off you pants past your knees and ankles, as well as your underwear, which was glistering with your arousal. Indeed, you were ready for him, just like you should.
Morax tightly grabbed and parted your thighs, while repositioning himself in between, not allowing you to hide your bare self. You were in such a vulnerable state, all for your beloved God. Really, Morax was so proud of you.
“Darling, I am truly pleased. For have you kept yourself hidden from others’ undeserving gazes and touches, I will grant your wish and answer your prayers. All you will have to do is to relax.” He kindly, yet condescendingly, explained to you what he expected of you next. Your vain struggling did not free you of him, Morax’ grip was as inflexible as stone. Vain but also on the brink of being insulting.
Morax released your bruised thigh to solidly clasp his hand around your throat, keeping you in place for good. Having you finally unmoving, he unbuttoned his too tight pants, ultimately primed to honour you. Just before breaking through, he noticed tears flowing past your tightly shut eyes.
“I am glad to see you being so overjoyed, my dear. I will not waste any more time.” He sweetly whispered, seeing you in such a tearful state. He was a man of his word. You felt him steadily but painfully fill you up and stretch you excessively, although Morax was generous enough to make himself lesser due to his shapeshifting abilities. Your soft cries and whimpers were music to his ears. Ah, you were such a good and honest subservient. Undoubtably, fate commanded you to be made for him to consume you that night.
