PLEASE CHECK RBS FOR THE GFM LINK AND CIRCULATE THAT VERSION.
hello ! im rex, a nonbinary lesbian stuck in florida. like countless other trans adults, my hrt care was abruptly stripped from me with the passing of SB 254, after being on T with 0 problem for 3 years. being very visibly trans, on top of the awful situation my family has been dealing with for 18 years now, is making staying here impossible.
besides continuing my care in peace, escape will Also allow myself and my family to be free from the grasp of our excruciatingly abusive grandfather, whos verbal and extreme financial abuse has gotten vastly worse in the last ~2 years after the loss of my grandmother.
this all comes to: the laptop i use currently for paid work is very, very old. it has been fighting me with clip studio a Lot lately, which makes comms really frustrating to work on. so, i am trying to save for one that is stronger that can handle what i need it to, in order to speed my work process up and be able to help further in getting us the fuck out of here. we have a rough goal of around august on wanting to start actually leaving, but there is wiggle room.
my kofi is here; it has a goal set, as well as a shop with two bases available for purchase: https://ko-fi.com/adjobj

Yandere Aegon II Targaryen (Romantic) would include:
Warnings: Forced relationship, toxic and abusive behavior, NONCON also spoilers
Tumblr media
Note: While I use the gif for the younger version, this is supposed to be for the older!Aegon, but I can’t find any gifs of him
If Aegon were ever to be defined by his sins, there would be three. His first sin was wrath; described as a man who’s quick to anger and slow to forgive. His second sin was gluttony, always overindulging himself. And his third most prominent sin was his lust. He kept an eye on every pretty lady and servant, and they were frequently found in his bed. In the end, Aegon always walks away with pride while they walk away with shame.
He has always been drawn to lovely things. It should not have come as a surprise when you got his attention. You are beautiful, young, and pure—all the qualities he liked in a woman. Aegon is shameless; regardless of whether you were engaged or already married, he would still pursue you. Sadly, Aegon won't accept "no," and soon enough, his interest develops into infatuation, which then develops into obsession.
The blood of the dragon is coursing through Aegon. It's in his nature to be possessive and protective, but as a yandere, he becomes suffocating. He is without a doubt among the worst yanderes in his family. While the others also exhibit his possessiveness, Aegon is more on the extreme side, in that he views you more as a trophy for him to win rather than as a person with feelings and aspirations.
Another thing that makes Aegon different from the others is that they know their darling is only with them because of coercion. But Aegon doesn’t see it this. He becomes a semi-delusional yandere as a result. Hence why he is so agitated when you keep turning him down—it forces him to deal with reality.
Aegon will marry you one way or another. Despite his mother's and grandfather's advice to the contrary. Aegon doesn't handle rejection well, as was already mentioned, and he'll react violently if his engagement to you is rejected. Aegon might even go so far as to deflower you—either voluntarily or against your will—so that you would be compelled to wed him in order to maintain your honor.
Aegon will continue to have an affair with you regardless of whether he marries Helaena. The problem arises when he refuses to keep it secret. There will be a lot of gossip around the court regarding the whole arrangement, and it will be extremely scandalous. And obviously, your family will be humiliated as a result. Still, it doesn’t bother Aegon. If anything, he sees it as their payback for refusing to accept your engagement to him.
Deep-seated jealousy consumes Aegon. Even the slightest interactions you have with the opposite sex make him paranoid. Playing on Aegon's jealousy is the riskiest thing you can do because it will likely result in someone dying-possibly getting eaten by his dragon. His brothers are not exempt from this either, and as a result, they tend to avoid you. Everyone in the court—the lord, the ladies, and the servants—knows to keep their distance if they want to stay out of Aegon's crosshairs.
Whatever you may think of Aemond and Daemon, there is at least a sense that they care about their kids, even if they are merely a tool for subjugation. On the other hand, Aegon doesn't really care about your kids, and if he had to choose between you and them, he would pick you without giving it a second thought.
He’s hungry for you and Aegon takes what he wants. He loves seeing you squirm, the tears you shed, the sounds you let out; in particular when you moan his name. If you reject him, he'll gladly force himself on you. And all the guards who were meant to protect you will simply stand there as they listen to their prince king forces himself on you. Aegon deludes himself into thinking you want this, but you're just being coy.
Aegon is desperate for your touch even outside of the bedroom. Holding your hands wherever you go. His lips are always finding yours; his kisses are passionate and deeply left. In spite of his lack of enthusiasm for dancing, he will dance with you on any given occasion. His mother has to caution him against making physical displays of affection because other people perceive his clinginess as a weakness.
As the future king, he demands respect. He demands others to give you the same respect. Regardless of whether you are his mistress or his wife, Aegon won't tolerate any disrespect or insults directed at you. The subsequent time they do so will be the final occasion when their tongue is intact.
If you play your cards well, Aegon will be in your good graces. You've discovered how simple it is to seduce Aegon. How eagerly he awaits your admiration. Aegon also enjoys treating you to many luxuries. Even if you ask for something odd, like a pony, he'll bring it to you.
As time goes on, you will slowly be able to get him to do your bedding, but you must make him feel that you are happy with him, that you have accepted his place in your life, and that you love him completely. You must be careful though, despite Aegon's love for you. If your plans are discovered, you’re not exempt from his wrath.

one of my batfam hot takes is that alfred having a very kind and understanding grandfather-like role is a boring spin on the character and lacks a lot of nuance around his backstory.
like he is a classically trained british butler which means he very likely comes from a working class family. and like, as a working class brit myself, i sometimes find the kindly, well-mannered grandfather thing grating because, a lot of white, working class men his age are unfortunately not nice people. some of them are like my great grandad was a really great guy, but hes really the only one i know who is or was not awful.
because their generation werent as exactly raised with ideals about mental health and emotional regulation. a lot of them were traumatised due to ww2 either because they saw it firsthand when they were like 15, they were old enough to remember things like rationing and the blitz, and a lot of them lost their dads in the war.
i dont expect american writers to understand how much ww2 affected britain (modern britain is still so steeped in it, its insane) and that generation specifically, BUT id love to see that explored more with alfred. like depending on where he grew up, he would likely have been separated from his family during the blitz and sent off to the countryside like most of the kids in cities were, (this is how narnia starts) and like, a lot of them were horrifically abused or used as free labour. a lot of them also lost parents and never got to say goodbye to them. many came back to destroyed homes. some kids also remained in the city or their parents requested them back so theyd experience the blitz first hand and would know the sign of air raid siren meant they might die that night.
you can see how a lot of that generation were permanently scarred. and for a few decades now, alfred would have been part of that generation.
plus he was also a secret service officer which is just like more opportunities to be traumatised and more reason for him to not be this gentle old man whos in touch with his emotions.
and like, as a classically trained butler, he would likely be more reserved because you know, thats how he was trained. also british men that age would also likely be very hands off in regards to emotions.
but the biggest reason as to why the gentle, kind grandfather take doesnt really make sense is that he raised bruce wayne.
like bruce has a whole slew of emotional issues and problems, and obviously some of that is going to come from alfred raising him because you know, thats kinda how that works. i know a lot of batfam folks want bruce to be this great dad, so i guess their take on alfred fits that, but canonically, bruce wayne is an emotional mess and not the best father figure at the best of times.
you cannot look at that bruce wayne and tell me alfred did a good job.
listen, this shouldn't even be a hot take. it's just an opinion that differs from the most popular interpretation of Alfred as an endlessly giving grandmotherly old man.
the thing about Alfred is that more than anything you have to recognize that he's an enabler. and I love the man to pieces, but at absolute best he was extremely negligent in Bruce's upbringing, if not actively encouraging the world's worst coping mechanisms.
I hate to give Gotham credit for anything, especially when it comes to Alfred since I hate their Alfred, but the show was bang on in its insistence from day one that Alfred should not have been Bruce's primary guardian. it's painful to watch how often Alfred encourages Bruce to tough it out and suck it up, and it never really stops. in one of the latter seasons (four, I think) he hits Bruce hard enough to give him a black eye during an argument, and this is ultimately written as a situation in which Bruce needs to apologize to Alfred for being a bratty teenager, rather than Alfred owing Bruce an apology for hitting him when he's a grief-stricken teenage boy cracking under stress.
and like, listen, I understand there are Watsonian and Doylist layers to this. Alfred fundamentally can't have been a good enough guardian to stop Bruce from channeling his trauma into fursuit vigilantism, because then there's no story. I get it.
but jesus christ.
I don't think characterizations of Alfred as a stoic caregiver are wrong, but I do think people don't want to think about how he got there. when I see the aged Alfred patching up Bruce's wounds and nagging him to eat, or doing his best to offer advice to the kids who have gotten mixed up in Bruce's crusade, I see a man who realized a long time ago that he dropped the fucking ball and has dedicated his life to doing as much damage control as possible. okay, so, completely failed step one (raise a well-adjusted child). can we at least make sure that this basket case adult man doesn't go completely over the edge? can we make sure he doesn't become a killer? can we encourage him to take off the mask and be Bruce Wayne sometimes? can we keep the children safe?
I do think Alfred loves all of them, for whatever its worth. his care for Bruce is real, that is his son, the Batgirls and Robins are his extended family. he'll cook their uneaten meals and clean the entire, massive house himself and stitch them up every night forever. he would die for them. hell, he'd kill for them. he loves them. but none of that means he raised Bruce right.
that's kind of the thing I like most about the Bats: they all care so, so much. but the way they love is terrible.

Tick tock tick tock
You heard the clock ticking from somewhere. And lately you had come to like hearing it's sound.
It would probably be a grandfather clock, you imagine. Its body would have been made by some expensive hardwood you would not know the name of. And its pendulum would be in the brilliant color of gold.
You felt something akin to camaraderie to the clock you had never seen which probably stood at the end of the hallway outside your room. It was probably the only existence, living or not, which received your affection in this castle.
The reason for you liking it was as follows: Since you could hear its sound without fail while you were staying in this room which is all the time, it would not have move at all from wherever its place had been since day one.
In a way, it made the clock in a similar situation as you in that both you and the clock did not have the strength and ability to gain freedom and to move around as your heart desired.
Did thinking such foolish things mean you were finally going crazy? It was only natural that a clock did not move from its spot. It is only a thing.
Perhaps you were being thought of in the same way by the master of the castle. You must also be one of the many treasurable things he owned.
And being the dragon, he sure did like taking care of his things as well as protecting them from those filthy thieves who would surely steal them away from him.
Yes, he did protect you from outside; his anger was unforgiving as he cast his magnificent magic to your friends who tried to take you back, against your pleas to please.... PLEASE.... spare them.
That caused quite an uproar... No, an uproar would be understatement as it ended the peace that was finally attained between humans and faes.
Your friends, silly and chaotic as they were, still regarded as hope for the future being the students of the top magician school. Among them, there were also students who were particular excellent at their respective subject.
And, being princes or rich kids or influential people in one way or the other, they tried to take their prefect back using any mean necessary. Your teachers, unable to look away from their student's abuse towards their self proclaimed adopted child, also participated with your friends' mission.
One thing led to the other, and there came a war which was torn between the faes and all other species not faes, which included merman and human and beastman and all others.
You can't fathom why NRC was called a villain school when the students and teachers there could risk everything thing to save a single friend of theirs. Or maybe their willingness to risk everything for someone they hold dear was a sin. But if that was so, you would take the punishment for them since they were pushed to the extreme because of you.
However, een though they had the determination that could even rival the toughest of diamond, their strength was nothing that could ever hope to compare to the faes nor Malleus himself, which was why they failed... and they failed miserably.
And the dragon, the steadfast and devoted as he was, did not have the merciful heart to be lenient to the thieves.
That day, you cried. Not only that day but also the next day and next week and next month and next... and next... and next... and next.... You cried.
You thought that you were going crazy from the agony burning within your heart. But it is only natural since you had lost everything... everyone you knew and loved in this world.
Except for the fae and his companions, of course.
And yes, he did take care of you; his touch was feather-like as his fingers move across your cheeks to wipe away the tears he himself has caused.
But it was a shame for him that your hatred was not so insignificant for you to become delusional and dependent.
And it is a shame for you that your hatred is not so useful for you to take revenge from him when the difference in strength is like the heaven and earth.
But then again, it was already as clear as day that you can't ever hope to damage him, not when none of your brilliant friends managed to do so.
Knock-knock
The sound rang from the door.
You ignored it, knowing that the door would open regardless. And as your prediction, it did open.
"My dearest, how have you been doing? I heard from Sebek that you would not be having today's breakfast. So, I got worried and came."
You ignored him again for it took too much energy to speak to someone, especially your kidnapper.
He also ignored your lack of response to take your hand in his and sit down next to you on the couch, which sunk lower due to the additional weight of the person.
"You have to take theee meals a day properly or it will damage your health," the man said as he looked into your face which was looking down the patterns on the carpet.
"Don't worry, I am not planning to starve myself to death. I know it won't work now that I have been changed into a monster like you."
No matter, how much you wished, starvation won't grant you the merciful death anymore.
Yes, you have changed... you have been changed... into a fae, an all mighty species which ruled over all other species after the war. You did not know what he did or how he did it, you heard piece and piece from his aide vampire that it was a forbidden procedure even among the faes and you should be grateful for the dragon's kindness to risk it for you. And you replied, to hell with that.
"I am not going on a hunger strike, I just don't have an appetite. So, don't try to force anything down my throat like before. I will puke everything back," you added, remembering the past experiences.
"I understand. But... My queen, please make sure to eat your lunch. I am worried about you."
You were getting annoyed at his useless chattering so you said, "Stop with the prelude. Do what you have to do."
You lived in the upper most room in the highest tower which was located in the left wing of the castle. The tower was totally isolated from all other attendence except from Malleus himself, his most trusted aide, Lillia, and a very professionalist middle age maid who have never spoken a word to you but reported every single detail of your life to Sebek who then reported back to Malleus.
It seemed that it was quite inconvenient for your kidnapper to come and go from his official quarters to your room every day. So, he worked at the right wing for some days (usually takes for one to two weeks). And once his work has calmed a little, he come back to this tower and stay shut in for a few days (usually around 3 to 4 days), doing nothing but sleeping with you.
When he was done with you, you were left bruised and broken, wondering how great it will be if you were to drift into unconscious world of dreams and never wake up again.
Even though your title was that of a queen, with chains from your leg and locks on the door, you felt like it would be more accurate to call you a slave, a sex slave, kept there for your master to use as he please.
You found him so repulsive and it made you feel disgusted with yourself to be touched by him. In the days after he left, you washed yourself with whatever soap you could find to rinse your body off his presence until your skin was all dry and red and the maid had to drag you out from the bathroom.
Your wondering was brought back to present by the man beside you.
"Today... I did not come here to...," he stopped. Probably because he is reluctant to say "to fuck you."
You snorted with laughter in your mind, the contradictory that he was not reluctant to fuck you but was reluctant to say the word seemed so comical.
"I have a present for you." He said and commanded, "come in," probably to the maid standing outside the room.
The maid came in with a small cage in her hand. She then opened the cage and from there, came out a small cat, its fur of the color white and its eyes of the color blue.
"I wanted to give you a present for our 100 years anniversary. I discussed with Lillia and he suggested that it would be a great idea to give you a pet to take care of. It will soothe your loneliness for when I am not able to come here."
Ah, so it has been 100 years since you have been confined here. You have given up on counting days so you didn't realize. It would also mean that your friends died around 99 years ago.
"Malleus," you called his name for the first time in a long time, and asked, "Do you really think that I would be happy confining a living being's life in this room when I myself am also in the same situation?"
That was not sarcasm like usual, it was a genuine question because you really did not understand what he was thinking.
"And is there any grantee that you would not erase the cat when I spent too much time taking care of it? And even if you did not, did you seriously think I would suddenly become so cheerful and jolly just because of a single cat? And most important of all, did you think I would miss you when you are not here? Are you that delusional? The most it would do is remind me of Grim due to its blue eyes and make me hate you more if that is even possible."
You sighed to keep stop yourself from pouncing at him and stabbing his eye with your hair pin because it would not be effective to him.
"Just take it away. And I never want to see it again. And remember, no matter what you do or how much time has passed, I will never forget what you did not I will never ever forgive you."

I have like. Two versions of Damian Wayne in my head. I think it's a consequence of getting to know and love him via Morrison's run on him and then wanting to know more, doing research into his mother's side, and being horrified by how racist the retcons made were. It didn't really change how much I enjoy Damian in any significant way, because I liked him for his dynamic with the batfamily and how entertaining he is as Robin. It's just that when it comes to anything deeper than that, about what motivates him, what he internalized growing up, the impact his childhood abuse had on him, anything to do with Ras or Talia really... A lot of writers fail so badly at making it compelling and instead just make me cringe and want them never to touch the al Ghuls again. And so we end up with two Damians:
Damian Wayne aka the Damian I love: Most easily described as an in-character, well written Damian with a solid backstory. Robin Son of Batman and his Robin run both pull this off pretty well. They don't downplay the horror of his childhood but they don't cross over into cartoonish territory either, and they allow Damian to have complicated thoughts and feelings about what he did and what was done to him. You can see how his abuse shaped him without it being shoved hamfistedly down your throat, and I don't come away thinking "I have to ignore all of this no matter how important it is to his character because logically Ras and/or Talia would not fucking do that". Also he's hilarious and makes me root for him whether he's insulting his enemies or electrocuting Jason or dying for the fifth/sixth time. Like that's my son and I can write a million words on his mentality and how it's changed and his opinions on his parental figures and his character development and how he'd interact with x or y character and-
And the second Damian, aka the Woobie Damian. The one you get where hack writers want to give him a sad backstory to justify how Edgy and Badass and Damaged he is and write the most cartoonishly over the top evil Ras and Talia possible. Most recent example I can think of is Tom King saying Ras locked Damian in a box with no water for a week because he didn't tie his shoelaces right. Or Morrison's Talia murdering her own son. Or how SuperSons wrote Talia. And look, it's not that I won't accept horribly, ridiculously evil villains. My favourite character's dad abused her in more extreme ways than even the worst al Ghul writer could come up with. It's that these are characters with already established personalities and traits. Unless they are being mind controlled they would not act like that and do these things. Just like how Bruce Wayne wouldn't lock Dick in a cave and feed him rats. There are ways you can show the impact of growing up in a cult and raised by an evil grandfather and being told repeatedly that you are destined to lead them all into a better world and trained in the art of killing a man. And these writers fail miserably at pulling any of that off. It's as shallow and boring as "You know why I'm mean to you all the time? Because my family taught me love is a weakness. I said mean things to you and stabbed you but my grandfather used to beat me for showing kindness to animals. Don't you feel sorry for me now?"
It sucks. I hate it. Anything with that Damian in it, I automatically filter out of my personal canon. The only way I can think of making it good is if it's like the "Slice the Baby Saturday" meme, where Damian is just bullshitting to see how much he can get away with and deliberately testing his family with stereotypes. But unfortunately those writers are dead serious about Ras making Damian climb up a whole mountain with no safety gear even if he falls and breaks his arm or dies. Because that is definitely something you would do with your one and only heir. They're literally two minutes away from saying Ras gave Damian a puppy and then told Talia to kill it in front of him.
So basically when I say that I love Damian and he's my favourite male Robin, know that woobie Damian is not a part of this conversation. Real Damian I would kill for. A writer puts woobie Damian in front of me and says his mom stabbed him I say let him bleed out so I won't have to endure comics about him anymore.

my fav version of tim drake is similar to the post of yours that made me follow you
my fav tim drake is that time he got an uncle to avoid adoption taken to the extreme. hes never been robin, not a bat, but he does follow them on patrol taking pics and occasionally intervening and they cant quite manage to stop him. hes dick grayson's nemesis because he no matter where he is, all he can think about is finally getting that kid to sit down and eat a proper meal and take a nap. jason comes back from the dead and tim has been deterring batman from violence with a squirt gun instead of a robin and jason almost hates him more for it. damian thinks he is an excellent operative, held in high esteem by his grandfather, and at first tim doesn't know what to make of that but then starts putting him to use for shenanigans. you get the idea
Oh, God, but Tim maintaining a professional relationship with Ra's al Ghul is everything I've ever desired? This weird old undead motherfucker is constantly bugging him about joining up and being his right-hand man and conquering the unruly world together and bringing peace and justice once and for all, blah blah blah, but Tim just isn't interested in that. Sounds like a lot of responsibility to have at his age, frankly. He's good just calling in the occasional favor and redirecting Batman's fury with the League of Assassins.
Also, like...I've officially started tagging these things "morally gray tim drake has my heart" because he does, y'all. He does! I do so very much enjoy the interpretation of Tim Drake as a morally gray character regardless of age (but especially in the Red Robin run) and I do think it's a valid way lens through which to see him.
The thing that makes Tim stand out to me is this undercurrent of tone to everything he does which implies that he views himself as inconsequential to the narrative. I might be in the minority here and that's fine(ish), but I've always thought about what would drive an emotionally abused and neglected 13-year-old child to try everything in his power to save his hero from killing himself and/or becoming public enemy #1. And maybe I'm projecting, but it always seems to come back to: "Well, I don't trust anyone else to be capable of doing it." He tried to talk to Dick, and Dick wouldn't take Robin back up, but Nightwing wasn't what Batman needed. And sure, they could've waffled about and tried to find someone else to be Robin. But Tim was right there and in the absence of anyone else he felt was qualified to do it, he just...did it.
Tim sees Batman (and Nightwing and Robin by extension) as being so incredibly significant to the overarching narrative. He knows that Batman doesn't really reduce crime, not in a city with local politics as corrupt as Gotham. He knows that it doesn't functionally matter if Batman gets this guy and not that guy, because it all shakes out the same. When there's a huge crisis, when Gotham City needs a symbol of everything that's still good here, still worth saving, Batman shows up and saves the day. Batman isn't allowed to succumb to human flaws like grief, despair, and outrage. People need him to mean more than that. Tim will do whatever it takes to secure and maintain that almost otherworldly level of heroism for Batman. If it gets him dirty in the process, he doesn't mind. Tim Drake won't be remembered. Batman will.
Of course, this is also why I think it's so fucking funny that Tim is at a point where he's just throwing death wish ideas at a wall until something sticks and hollering at the universe, "JUST KILL ME ALREADY!!!!"

GREETINGS FROM MEOWTER SPACE.
In my travels I've come to find that I have an extremely strange family background. I'm going to be talking about it in some essays, which may contain descriptions of abuse and neglect. Here's the first one (it's long as fuck.)
On my mom's side, my great great grandmother was Creek. She was alive when I was born, and we briefly met. She was over 125 years old (nobody knows how old exactly.) The men on that side, who were all Scottish, died in their early 40s, except for my grandfather, who left when my mom was a kid. (I met him once, but my mom didn't want me to be around anyone Christian as a kid, so I never met anyone else on that side of the family.) I barely know anything about my Scottish ancestry, although growing up we called the native grapes "bullises," which is a Gaelic word for plums (they're also called muscadines, but I don't know what the truth is anymore.)
My family were subsistance farmers since before colonization, until my grandma became a schoolteacher. Our family moved to what would later be the Free State of Jones from what would later be Alabama, though I'm not sure why. During the Civil War, people in Jones county refused to fight, since nobody owned slaves in the area, and it was declared a Free State. My grandma lives in the Free State, in abject poverty with my uncle and his wife, who just scream at each other and beat their kids and neglect their 15 hoarded dogs all day. And if they have a problem with me saying so, they can eat shit and die.
My mom went to school for anthropology, and taught geology at the University of Southern Mississippi. She was extremely ashamed of how poor our background is, and I wasn't allowed to visit family much, although I wanted to very badly. I got to live with my grandma and my two adopted uncles who are around my age for a little while when we were kids, and they're some of the only positive childhood memories I have. I was extremely isolated and abused, especially by my step dad, who is currently (to my knowledge) employed as a programmer at a major video game company, as well as being a child molester starting when I was 2 or 3 years old (some of my earliest memories.) His name is Rigel Cameron Freeman. I ran away when I was 16 to live with my dad. When I told my mom what he did, she called me a liar and quit speaking to me, and that was the last I heard from her directly. So far as I know, she's been in mental hospitals pretty much since I left.
My dad's mom, whose first name was Ellen, was Ashkenazi Jewish, descended from a family who left Germany before the holocaust. She was a beatnik who was friends with Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsburg, and she had personal beef with Grace Slick over a boyfriend. My dad's first guitar was a gift from Cat Stevens, although this was something he was a little embarrassed about and only mentioned to me once. She was especially close friends with Tiny Tim. She was in California trying to break into acting, and almost got a part in the Godfather allegedly (actually all of this is alleged by my dad, I only met her once. He really didn't like her, so I don't think he would make it up.)
Then she met my grandfather, Bob Marshall, who was probably in California to do drugs (sacred family tradition.) I have reason to believe he was mostly Choctaw and possibly Irish, although on that side of the family it's traditional to claim to be "French or Italian" unless you're very drunk, and then it's okay to be Indian. They moved up to Alaska and lived on the Athabaskan reservation, where my father, Rogan Russell Marshall, was born on April 19. Later, my grandfather became a civil rights lawyer, and he defended the right for prisoners with AIDS to be desegregated (basically anyone with AIDS would die in solitary before that.)
My dad got into Emerson, dropped out because no one could afford textbooks, moved to Mississippi and started this crazy punk band, and then went ahead and wrote some movies anyway. My favorite is called the Attic Expeditions, it features Seth Green, Jeffery Combs, and Alice Cooper, and it's very trippy and fun. Unfortunately, he became disabled from the same autoimmune condition I have, ankylosing spondylitis, which, if you're born male, has much more severe symptoms (which is why I chose not to start testosterone.) AS used to be thought of as genetic, but has recently been linked to environmental pollutants, and I was likely exposed to something released by one of our many chemical factories (my uncle who abuses his kids and dogs is adopted, I mentioned earlier, grew up in my grandma's house when we were kids together, and has the same symptoms, and multiple people who lived on the same Hattiesburg street as my dad in the 90s were diagnosed.) He was living in Massachussetts in his mom's basement when he married my step mom, a public defense attourney, to get health insurance, and they lived in Miami for eight years together until she left him, shortly after I moved in.
After that, I had to drop out of high school, and I lived in hell for about seven years while I worked full time, usually multiple jobs, to take care of us, and all the cats he would bring home (as many as 13, but I ran my house like a cat ranch and it was kind of beautiful.) His physical and mental health was dogshit, he wouldn't stop doing hard drugs, and our relationship was so hopelessly abusive that I had to quit speaking to him as well. My feelings are complicated because, while I love and admire his work, and he taught me a lot of extremely valuable and positive things, the things he did to me would put him in prison if I believed in the law. I owe him everything, and at the same time, I almost wish we'd never met (I'll have to talk about that in another post as well, because it's a lot, and exremely heavy.)
My third parent, Scott Panther, I honestly don't know very well. According to local legend, and there are many about him, he's Scottish and Cherokee. He was close friends with my parents before I was born, helped start Rong (and probably came up with the best ideas for it.) He was my mom's boyfriend for a long time before I was born.
My mom met Scott and Rogan at a Rong show, I was conceived after a Rong show (Scott drove Rogan to her house), and the night I was born there was a Rong show. Scott was overdosing when my mom went into labor, and I was born at 4 AM while multiple tornadoes passed through town. Later that night, he was ready to play the show (hats off). No one told Rogan I was born, though in the full video of the show he mentions the other people in town who were born on April 18. Unfortunately, the video is probably lost - he gave all the Rong tapes to someone I don't know, and he didn't say who (he may have even been lying and threw them away.)
I inherited a lot of personality traits from Scott, as many people who know us have noticed, although I gained them not through direct teaching, or through any modern understanding of genetics. I've read that before colonization these kind of things were more common and better understood.

Really interesting thing about Les Miserables is that it combines a number of semi-independent stories - each of which, when isolated, is a fairly standard interpretation of a given trope - into a larger, inter-connected whole; and wherever the individual archetypes interact with each other, they set the stage for the introduction of things that are less generic and cannot be treated as a one-dimensional paradigm. Such a layered "collage" is possible because of two factors: first, a large (and varied) cast of characters; second, the fact that the events in the novel span a relatively long period of time (some 40 years*).
However, unlike many historical works of similar calibre, Les Miserables usually favors a surgical approach - in a way, the individual "puzzle pieces" and their intersections matter more than the final "big picture".
When you look at the collage, you start to notice patterns and parallels: how Éponine is a distant echo of Javert, and in turn how Grantaire can be likened to Éponine; the mirrored fates of Enjolras and Gavroche; the analogous-yet-divergent fates of Valjean and Fantine, and many more.
In and of itself, the joined tale of Marius and Cosette is a variation on the theme of Werther et al. But when you broaden your perspective and consider the preceding stories of the two characters, it suddenly expands beyond the conventions of the genre. They are more than archetypical Romantic lovers: Marius - by virtue of his conflict with his grandfather and his involvement in the June Rebellion; and Cosette - owing to the detailed account of her turbulent past. The lover, the wayward son and the patriot-martyr are all characters extremely common in nineteenth-century literature - it just so happens that Marius is all three. Similarly, Cosette's childhood is a typical, if harrowing, Realistic depiction of abuse and poverty; and yet she is also the angelic, aethereal "kindred spirit" venerated by the lovestruck Marius-Werther.
Then you have Valjean, whose life is part morality play, part Positivistic* success story, part psychological study of an eternal outcast; Javert, who is simultaneously a caricature of single-mindedness, a universal parable about the dangers of blindly following authority, and Hugo's way of critiquing the reactionary police-state of Napoleon III; Éponine, at once a cautionary tale and a sympathetic look at the seedy underbelly of 'civilised' society; and bishop Myriel, both a textually canonized saint and the jolly protagonist of a pastoral about the highs and lows of life in a provincial parish.
The characters evoke emotion not because they can be losslessly stencilled into the new millenium, but because their reality is multi-faceted enough for us to become immersed in it. It's as if Hugo put a bucket-load of archetypes and genres in a well-researched and digression-prone blender, and out of that marring of ideals came something that has perhaps lost some of its everyman appeal and universality, in favor of immortalizing a kaleidoscope view of life in the early eighteen-hundreds; and yet it remains relevant because the problems he tackles are relevant still.

WHY JON KENT IS AGED UP.
I realized that people don’t actually know why Jon Kent was aged up so for the people that don’t know I’m going to explain why he was aged up; the real life reason and the story reason.
The real life reason is DC was trying to get ready with 5G Future State and Infinite Frontier and they were trying to do something new. So their idea was to try and take Superman (Clark) off the table. They also wanted a fresh Superboy/Superman to be apart of new teams they could form and fight in new stories in the potential future. (I forget what team and etc because this is from my memory, sorry) Brian Micheal Bendis than had come from Marvel to DC, I know he’s done the same thing in Marvel where he’s written for characters that are more on the side and made them more interesting which worked out but when he came to DC they made the mistake of letting him touch their most well known Superhero: Superman.
Brian Micheal Bendis had decided to make a story completely focused on Clark Kent and Jon was a casualty to this.
To remove him from the story they made it so Mr. Oz (a DC villain) was revealed to be Jor-El (Jon’s grandfather) who had survived the explosion on Krypton by being taken out of Krypton the very moment it blew up by an omnipotent. being called Dr. Manhattan then he appeared suddenly in his house and asked to take Jon and Lois on a space mission to learn the inner workings of the universe. You may be wondering: “Why would Clark and Lois allow this to happen?!” they wouldn’t. it’s very mischaracterized, Clark Kent loses himself in only being Superman and Lois Lane becomes a mother who doesn’t care about her family but only cares about headlines.
Jon in all this time got stuck in a wormhole where he was warped into Earth-3 (a universe where the Justice League is evil) and he gets imprisoned in a Volcano where he’s tortured and abused by Ultraman (that worlds Superman) along with that world’s Lois Lane who is like that worlds Superman.
Then they decide on keeping this in continuity, Tom Taylor/Bendis allow Jon to keep his tortured past and they let Jon explore his sexuality but it is not authentic… its just for headlines and sales but it doesn’t matter since the comic “Superman: Son of Kal-El” flopped.
Jon now doesn’t even act like Jon and he doesn’t have any chemistry with the characters he once did like Damian etc, his personality seems flat… This also takes away Super Sons and removes the option of us being able to watch Jon find his way as a hero and take up after his father. They wanted Jon to become the new Superman which won’t last because there's no way Clark Kent is not coming back.
I'm sure his age-up will not last long though and people will rightfully be mad because “Jay Nakamura” his boyfriend will cease to exist if he becomes young again which would be extremely problematic.
He will most likely be aged down because there's no one who likes this change so Im not too worried.
Over all its just a simple case of a writer writing for a character he doesn’t understand at all.

Best Underrated Anime Group F Round 3: #F8 vs #F2
#F8: Young boy gets sold to a demon to be his grandson
#F2: 90s maid girls with guns
Details and poll under the cut!
Tumblr media
#F8: Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun (Marimashita! Iruma-kun)
youtube
Summary:
Fourteen-year-old Iruma Suzuki has been unfortunate all his life, having to work to earn money for his irresponsible parents despite being underage. One day, he finds out that his parents sold him to the demon Sullivan. However, Iruma's worries about what will become of him are soon relieved, for Sullivan merely wants a grandchild, pampering him and making him attend the demon school Babyls.
At first, Iruma tries to keep a low profile in fear of his peers discovering that he is human. Unfortunately, this ends up being more difficult than he expected. It turns out that Sullivan himself is the chairman of the school, and everyone expects him to become the next Demon King!
Iruma immediately finds himself in an outrageous situation when he has to chant a forbidden spell in front of the entire school. With this, Iruma instantly earns a reputation he does not want. Even so, he is bound to be roped into more bizarre circumstances.
Propaganda 1:
The main character, Iruma, is very kind and wholesome, and you really just want to see him succeed throughout the series, especially after knowing everything he’s been through. He was neglected and used by his parents, but now he gets to live out a nice life despite being surrounded by demons, as his new grandfather spoils him. The demon that adopted him, Sullivan, is an extremely powerful figure in the demon realm, but through most of the series, he looks like an egg. The side characters are also well-designed with interesting personalities. The main two, Asmodeus and Clara, become almost inseparable from Iruma after they become friends, and the three of them are very cute together. There is also a canon nonbinary cat person, who is technically Sullivan’s servant, but he is treated as part of the family, and he’s a disaster bisexual.
Propaganda 2:
It’s really good in terms of art, plot, and characters. There’s nonbinary representation in the form of Opera, and there’s friendship galore with very poly undertones. It’s so sweet and good, and it’s just rahhhhh. Everyone is silly but also realistic and well-developed. There are reasonable arcs, and there’s a well mix of plot-driven growth and character-driven plots. I love every person who appears onscreen, even for like two seconds. The world building is lovely and so bright and colorful.
Propaganda 3:
You should vote for it because it is genuinely one of the best animes I’ve ever seen. It has good character development, mysteries, focuses on the cast well, and it is not a harem anime. The plot is also really good and is suitable for all age groups.
Fun fact: the main character crossdresses three times in the first three seasons
Trigger Warnings: Child Abuse (mild)
Tumblr media
#F2: Akiba Maid War (Akiba Meido Sensou)
youtube
Summary:
The innocent Nagomi Wahira has always admired the cute girls serving at maid cafes. Hoping to fulfill her dream of becoming one, she moves to Akihabara to work at the maid cafe Ton Tokoton.
Nagomi’s first day seems completely normal—until she has to run an “errand” at a rival maid cafe along with her fellow recruit, the mature Ranko Mannen. There, things quickly go south, and Nagomi soon gets her first taste of Akihabara’s violent maid wars. As she watches Ranko calmly battle her way through a horde of gun- and knife-wielding maids, Nagomi realizes that maid cafes are drastically unlike what she had envisioned.
While struggling to reconcile her expectations with the harsh reality she finds herself in, Nagomi searches for the enjoyment she once saw in the lives of maids.
Propaganda:
It was animated by P.A. Works! As far as I know, they also worked on Buddy Daddies, Angel Beats, Ya Boy Kongming, etc. Cygames also contributed to this anime!! The story is creative as well. Who would’ve thought of a cute maid mafia anime? Keep in mind, this is a P. A. Works ORIGINAL. They went SO crazy on this anime. There’s also 12 episodes, which means that you can binge it all on one day and still be satisfied :D The OP and ED are also catchy, creative and unskippable. Despite its dark themes, it can sometimes get a little more “lighthearted” and silly, even in the most violent scenes ;P
Trigger Warnings: Flashing Lights, Graphic Depictions of Cruelty/Violence/Gore.
Just like what I explained, it’s violent. A lot of guns. And a lot of blood. Yes, they kill fellow maids in like every episode ever lol. Also, since Akiba is known to have flashy street signs, like every city ever…. And the guns, of course…that’s why I put the Flashing Lights warning.

Astrology of Tyler Perry
Tumblr media
His chart
Disclaimer: I want to remind you that if you have a similar chart or placements , this DOESNT mean this is how it will play out in your life, your kids or other loved ones. astrology is complexed and placements have many meanings and theme to them!
Tumblr media
So I just got done watching his documentary on Prime called “Maxine’s Baby” Maxine was his mother’s name and it’s pretty much the story of his come up. It’s a classic rags to riches story, it’s also a story about believing in yourself. I wanted to breakdown his chart and the documentary really shows on his chart
Whether you’re a fan or not, this a good way to see astrology in real life!
Throughout this whole documentary, he talked about how close he was to his mother until her passing.
1. Moon Libra 1h. I’m starting to realize that men who has their moon in the 1h are mommas boys. They are the ones who would do anything for their moms even if the relationship is toxic. Now Tyler relationship with his mother was healthy. Libra is the sign of business and his brand started out as representing mothers and women. Libra rules over grandmother and Madea is literally everyone fav grandma lol
Another big thing he talked a lot about in his documentary was the physical and verbal abuse from his father growing up. There’s a few planets that has the “father” archetype (Sun, Saturn and Jupiter). I’m going look at his Sun because that’s the planet I personally look at for fathers, Saturn for father /authority figures and Jupiter grandfathers.
2. Sun Virgo 11h, close to 12h. Virgo is the sign of criticism and harsh judgements. Virgo Suns may be extremely critical and push themselves to the point it affects their health. That’s because at a young age they are told they’re not enough, or you’re not doing this correctly, “that’s good but you can do better.” They develop this perfectionism attitude about themselves and can project that on others if they’re not self aware of this. The 11h rules over feeling outcasted or not knowing how to fit in. He talked lot about how he never felt loved or wanted by his father and been very public about that. 11h rules over the public.
Speaking of Sun 11h. This indicated having well known friends and collaborators. Having a well known networking friend. He’s good friends with Oprah who’s an Aquarius which rules. The 11h by the way.
His Sun conj Pluto. Pluto rules over abuse and Virgo rules the physical health of the body. Yeah he had it rough in his childhood. The thing is, his father was just projecting his own insecurities and hurt onto him with his Pluto in the 12h.
He has a Capricorn 4h. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. Saturn rules over restriction, career, work ethic and authority figure. He has a huge work ethic and his career is tied into his private life. I remember him saying he wrote 20 scripts in two weeks and had submitted them to get them made. That’s actually insane, if you’re a writer then you’ll know how crazy that is! That’s Capricorn energy for you though. Remember Capricorn is exalted in Mars. The grind is real here. He also have Saturn 6h which indicates being a workaholic.
It’s paid off because he has Saturn Taurus 6h. Saturn Taurus can indicate building wealth or living comfortably later on in life (post Saturn return).
His MC is in Cancer. What did I say about his private life being intertwined with his work life. His work life is a reflection of his childhood and. The people he grew up with, his Moon in the 1h. The 1h is your point of view of things so he’s writing about the women in his world.
He also said he originally wanted to be a pastor before becoming a writer and filmmaker. He also said m, he comes from a long line of pastors that goes back generations.
3. Moon Conj Jupiter. The moon rules over our lineage and where we come from and Jupiter rules over religion and our philosophical ideals. The fact Jupiter is so close to his rising and close aspected to his Mercury, his ideals and message comes through his writing. This makes sense on why there’s always spiritual element to his movie such as gospel music and Madea giving life lessons.
Y’all we are truly our charts!
What is his destiny and where is he going this lifetime?
4. North Node Pisces 5h. Transcendence through fame and creativity. Pisces is that spiritual sign so he may dive deep into that. This is probably me just grasping at straws but he may step away from the industry and let his son take over when he gets older. Pisces rules over isolation and living life like a Monk basically lol. Pisces also rules the ocean, will he start his own cruise? (Just a joke but who knows, he’s rich😅) the 5h rules over fame and children. I believe his son and any other future kids he may have will carry his legacy. More so his eldest because 5h rules children
There’s so much I can probably breakdown but that would take me a week and I have readings to do finish😅
Feel free to comment what you notice, keep it astrology based please

I think it’s time I became more honest with you guys. The truth is I been struggling with my mental state for a very long time. I have an older sister who pretty much emotionally abused me all my life, and if that wasn’t bad enough, she also manipulated my younger sister to join in the bullying. This went on for years and my parents would mostly turn away from it or believe one day we’d get along as adults. But the abuse continued and I tried so hard to make things work between us, but no matter what, it would always be my fault and even when she knew she’d make mistakes, she’d always find someone else or something to blame. Now that I think about it, she was and still is a coward. Things got so bad to the point where I would spend years diving in and out of depression and ended up self-harming, luckily nothing too damaging and I did heal from them. I also went to counselling and currently on antidepressants. Because older sister has been having a terrible marriage crises and a bunch of problems, she’s made life extremely difficult for everyone, especially my parents. Meanwhile I had to find a new job twice because my previous job closed down, so was made redundant and had to find somewhere else to work. At first I thought I found a new permanent place, only it turned out horrible. Staff were not very nice and I felt stressed and hated being there. So in the end decided to leave and find somewhere else, which caused me a lot of stress since I was afraid it will look bad on my work record. Luckily I joined a new place and doing really well so far. Everyone so much nicer and it’s less stressful. So yeah, All this drama really negatively affected me, but now things seem to be sorting themselves out. It’s been a very difficult year to say the least. Plus, last week my grandfather sadly passed away, so yeah, that was also sad, but at least he’s no longer in any pain. Right now I am hoping to move out eventually in a year or so and focus on good things ahead 🤞🏻 Life has been mentally challenging for me in the long run, but I’m still here. ❤️

Okay with that whole "Never had a sleepover" thing in VECU (Valley Echos Cinematic Universe) I have also never had a sleepover where I wasn't just totally miserable so I want you to know that I'm living vicariously through Shane and Zeke.
Also, I feel like we know almost nothing about Zeke. Like, what's their favorite color? Favorite animal? Favorite food? Least favorite food? I'm invested now and I want to know everything.
I'm practically begging you to infodump.
Oh! Well, some of this stuff I've gone over, some of this stuff I've hinted to, and some I'll see if I can say without too many spoilers:
- Zeke's favorite color is green. They like viridian/teal colors for themselves but always found themselves particularly drawn to a certain eye shade...
- Zeke's favorite animal is pigs. They just haven't been able to afford them yet.
- Favorite foods include strawberries and honey. Least favorite include the damn pepper poppers Shane sent them in the mail that nearly killed them. They have a stupidly low spice tolerance.
- Their father's name was Finn Kelley. Their grandfather was Phelan Kelley, the one who founded the farm. They also have/had an uncle named Collin Kelley who went missing not long after their father died. Collin was a legendary marketing genius for Joja Corp - think like how some corporate people used to talk about Steve Jobs.
- Zeke's grandfather knew Shane's.
- Zeke was raised in an extremely strict abusive household after their father died. After escaping it at 17 they got a bit wild with doing questionable legal things. Their first attempt at getting on some kind of track in their life was using their uncle's name to get a job at Joja Corp.
- Zeke was a web content and SEO specialist at Joja Corp. They also handled customer service chats because Joja Corp decided literally anyone who was lower ranked than a senior manager at the company also had to do customer service/sales "so the customers could truly get to know Joja as a family" aka to squeeze sales in as many parts of the pipeline as possible. No I'm not putting this in their background from my own bitter personal experience why do you as-
- Zeke was the kind of kid who made dirt potions and ate random plants. Even at a young age they were already trying to explore different names because of Gender Feelings they wouldn't understand for a few years yet.
- Zeke's favorite movie, Chrono Pirates, is based on Time Bandits.
- Zeke has adhd and takes medication for it. Zeke takes their medication with energy drinks. Don't be like Zeke.
- Zeke has had more relationship experience with women than men, and by that I mean they've had two semi long term girlfriends and one very casual boyfriend who lasted a month before Zeke ghosted him to go live in Pelican Town. I'm not sure if I'm gonna have that ever come up as a thing in the comic.
- Zeke never was the type to sleep around, not because they didn't want to, but they have a very hard time approaching people and picking up on flirtation
- Zeke is 5'11" to Shane's 5'7" (eh, let's be real, 5'6.7ish)
- While Zeke has 0 spice tolerance they can and do eat raw lemons

The Eri Problem
I'm going to get some flack for this, but I've never been a fan of Eri. Yeah, she's a cute kid who was dealt an awful hand in life, but I hate the way she's written/placed in the story. I think she could have been so much more if different things were done with her character, but as things stand right now, she's just a walking-talking plot device. I'll try and break down why I'm not a fan of how she's been written thus far and what it means for the story thus far:
(sidenote: this has some anti Bakugou and anti Aizawa elements, as well as some UA critical ranting, so it's also been tagged as such)
1. Her backstory
Her backstory sounds like something straight out of fanfiction, and while other people may like that (I'm not judging if you do), I'm just not a fan of it. You have characters with much more realistic backstories such as Izuku (absent father, mercilessly bullied due to being Quirkless), Shoto (hospitalized mother, has an extremely famous public figure for a father that happens to be abusive), and Kota (hero parents were killed in the line of duty when he was a toddler, raised by his aunt as a result of that).
Then you have Eri: she erased her father from existence on accident (she also has no birth certificate for whatever reason), causing her mother to hate/fear her to the point where she's put in the care of the Yakuza. The head of the Yakuza - who happens to be her maternal grandfather - becomes unable to care for her, leading Overhaul to experiment on her for his Quirk erasing bullets. She then gets taken in by Eraserhead and the staff of UA. In fanfiction (depending on how it's done), I wouldn't mind seeing this, but seeing this done in canon just doesn't sit with me.
2. Her Quirk
I'm not saying anything new here, given that this is by far the most debated thing about her, but her Quirk just lowers the stakes of the story to me. Why should I worry about Mirio being Quirkless when we all know that Eri's going to restore his Quirk? For that matter, why don't they have her restore Aizawa's leg and eye? Why don't they have her restore All Might back to his prime? If they have her do one of these things, why not have her do the other two?
3. Her Role
The above two points kind of converge into this one, and I think it's one of the biggest reasons why I have such a problem with her character: she HATES her Quirk (for totally valid reasons, I'd hate Rewind if I had it), yet is used by UA to restore Mirio's Quirk with no consideration for her own feelings on the matter. That doesn't sit right with me, and I've seen a few other people agree.
She's also used to rehabilitate Aizawa and Bakugou's images without giving them proper character development.
Aizawa is a mess of a man who has no business taking care of any child, regardless of their age. I understand that pragmatically, he's the best option until she gains control of her Quirk, but we don't even see him take care of her! Whenever she's trotted out in the story for her designated cute moments, he more often than not just leaves her in the care of his class. I will give him props for sacrificing his leg for her sake, but that's just about the only big "bonding" moment that they have. People often point to Aizawa's relationship with Eri as evidence that he's not just some asshole teacher, but that just raises a question for me: if he supposedly cares for his students as much as he does for Eri, why don't we see him loosening up on his assholery towards them? Why don't we see him reflecting on his frankly horrible treatment of them (Izuku in particular) and resolving to try and do better? In the light novels, we see how much Eri adores Izuku (wanting Santa to visit him as well, asking if Izuku was okay when he ran off to get the candy apples to surprise her with), which would have been a perfect set up for this.
*bonus complaint, but how can these teachers take such good care of Eri and then turn around and pretend to kidnap the parents of Class 1A for Parents Day? How can they just sit by and let Bakugou treat everyone around him the way he does? How can they say that they see these kids as their own children if they not only do nothing to help Izuku, Aoyama, and Kaminari control their Quirks, but they let Izuku drop out of UA to go fight All For One and Shigaraki? How can they ignore all of the child abuse red flags Todoroki throws up? How can Midnight make outright sexual comments that canonically make the students uncomfortable?
In the 6th light novel, she's also used to teach Bakugou to not be such an asshole 24/7. I don't even need to get into why leaving a traumatized 6 year with such a mean-spirited bully is a horrible idea... then again, Aizawa thought he could resolve the bad blood between Izuku and Bakugou by forcing them to work together, and we all know how well that turned out (Bakugou backhanding Izuku and outright stating he'd rather fail than work with Izuku), so what the hell do I know?
In my honest opinion, Eri would have been much happier if she had somehow gotten her Quirk erased and was taken in by Mirio and his family. She could still be in the story, but more along the lines of how Kota is in the story: very occasionally popping up to show their recovery and their love for Izuku.
Maybe they could even start an Izuku fanclub together.

MY EPIC CREEPYPASTA OC!!☆⌒(ゝ。∂)
Tumblr media
Name; Mason Cyprian^_^. Age; 17 (Birthday - October 21st).
Special abilities; Quick speed, good at picking locks, extremely obsessive, very stealthy, okay-ish hearing.
Flaws; Not very strong unless he’s extremely riled up / overwhelmed, often jumps to conclusions, fear of clowns, naive and easy to manipulate when in an emotionally weak state, Autism & Schizotypal & BPD.
Friends; Benjamin / Ben Lawman (Before death).
Inside satchel; Switchblade, Camcorder, journal, multiple pens (some of which are chewed…), & headphones.
Backstory (STILL TECHNICALLY IN PROGRESS.); As a kid he was an only child with pretty incompetent parents, who usually just left him for his grandfather to take care of him. On top of his parents being negligent and sometimes emotionally abusive, he was ‘weird’ and pretty anti-social, barely talking to anyone in his grade, and finding solace in video games and fiction. He was bullied to the point he felt so insecure he barely ever went out, genuinely fearing most people, until Ben. Ben was his only friend, Ben was also a ‘freak’ to the other kids eyes, he actually introduced him to the Zelda series, and they would always play Majora’s Mask together, until Ben mysteriously went missing without a trace. The bullying ramped up as kids found new fuel to bully him with, truly he felt trapped, but then his angel, Anne Levay, consoled him, Mason fell head over heels for her, even the slightest affection made him flustered. But slowly the innocent crush turned into a sick obsession, he followed her everywhere to the point he knew her entire schedule, even down to the clothes she was most likely to wear, constantly filming her with his camcorder. Then Lucas came along, flirting with her and trying to get with her, jealousy consumed Mason, he followed him home and stabbed him in a bloody fight, taking his body to the woods in a panic, meeting the Slender Man. He was knocked out but ‘awoken’ by a dream, he was still in the woods but he eventually found a lake, he tried to relax but them felt himself getting pulled down by a hand. He flailed and fought, only to be met with Ben again, Mason was so happy, tears welled in both of their eyes as they resurfaced, but Mason soon woke up. He knew what he saw was real, and the tall man had sent Ben to terrorize him for whatever reason, he tried to calm himself down by watching the videos he had taken of Anne. He felt a sudden urge of strong emotions, beckoning him to finally confess, because what could go wrong? But then he found out Anne wasn’t such an angel, she had been talking about him and Ben behind his back in a nasty way, making fun of him like all those other kids did. He killed her in a blind overwhelming rage and pain and fled before he could even process it, just sleeping, despite the utter shock and despair that consumed him about his only ‘friends’ betrayal. (IM CURRENTLY MAKING A WATTPAD BOOK ON HIM, TITLED ‘MASON CYPRIAN.’)
Personality; (Mason has 2 main personalities that are brought out in certain circumstances, or for seemingly no reason.) 1; Loyal, caring, obsessive, very up-front, somewhat sophisticated, secretly spiteful, quiet, paranoid, semi- mirror personality (most times non-manipulatively). 2; Easily agitated, prone to emotional and violent responses, envious, bitter, manic, obsessive to those he cares for, semi- mirror personality (in these cases, he uses it manipulatively.)
Extra info; he has Schizotypal, Autism, and BPD / Bipolar Personality Disorder. he’s very easy to manipulate because not only (1) can he not understand emotions very well, even his own sometimes, and (2) he hasn’t received much genuine affection in his life, which makes him very easily attached to those who give him the time of day. Before his life revolved around Anne, he volunteered at a stray cat rescue center, he took a specific liking to calico cats. He learned to bake because his grandfather taught him, and sometimes he had to cook because his grandfather fell ill or couldn’t do it himself. He likes visual novels because they help him visualize the scene and characters, etc. Mason’s favorite genre of music is actually rock (MSI, Deftones, Palaye Royale, etc.)
Killer name; Photogeist
Murder way of choice; He usually stalks his victims for about a week, mapping out potential threats, analyzing behavior, etc. Then once the victim / victims are asleep , at a weak point, or they are distracted, he sneaks into their house quickly but quietly and slices them with his switchblade. He doesn’t exactly ‘enjoy’ killing, but if he needs to vent his anger out, or he knows that person / people deserved it he doesn’t really feel bad about it.
Family; Mary Cyprian (Mother - negligent and majority absent), Walter Cyprian (Father - emotionally abusive and majority absent), Joe Cyprian (Grandfather - authoritative and majority raised him)
IF YOU MADE IT THIS FAR THANK U!!!∑d(°∀°d) And yes, I will post more about this silly billie! :33

Cuz We Are Living in a Canadian World, and I am a Canadian Girl
Tumblr media
This was not my first copy of the classic Canadian book about girlhood. It also wasn't my second, which got lost in a move, and it wasn't my third, which...crap, I have no idea what happened to it, but it is the copy that is currently on my bookshelf. I was given my first copy at age nine or so, sitting in my maternal grandfather's living room in Ontario. That side of the family was and still is absolutely obsessed with the Anne books. They talk about Gilbert Blythe the way 2000s girls talk about Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. I'm pretty sure I have heard my cousins use the phrase "I found my Gilbert" in relation to their significant others. Then of course we moved to Alaska and I was on my own to find the rest of the Anne books. But for today, let's talk Anne of Green Gables.
Everyone's favorite PEI orphan is an extremely well-known character at this point, between the books themselves and a myriad of film and television adaptations aimed at kids and adults. Anne studies and Girlhood Studies are pretty popular in Canadian higher ed institutions (I have a friend who was focusing on Anne for her graduate studies), and the idea of this redheaded girl who can see the magic in the world has been sticky since LM Montgomery published in 1908.
Aside from Anne seeing the magic in the world--which, wow do we need that vibe back in this, the year of our lord 2023--one of my favorite things about the first book in the series is that it has massive found family vibes and does not shy away from the importance and joy of female friendships. Like, for all the Anne and Gilbert vibes in popular culture, Anne and Gilbert don't become Anne and Gilbert until the end of book 3 of the series, arguably realistically book 4, and their relationship matures and expands in book 5. But in Anne of Green Gables, Gilbert is just an annoying boy who transforms into an academic rival after Anne sets a hard boundary by way of a slate to the head.
What's critical about this first book is that the key relationships Anne forms are with Diana, Marilla, and Matthew. She gets to be a girl and have fun and adventures with her new family, her best friend, and a pack of Avonlea girls. There is something so pure and comfortable and heartwarming about the community that Anne builds around herself. This is extra poignant when one grows up with this book and grows to understand the full context from which Anne comes. Marilla understands immediately that Anne's light was miraculous for continuing to shine despite the neglectful, possibly abusive situations she came from--even if Marilla then immediately clamps down on that feeling for another few chapters.
Anne gets to be a girl with friends and free time and a family that loves her. There is something quietly magical about that, and I think that has quite a lot to do with the book's ongoing popularity, even if the popular culture imagining of Anne has drifted some over the years. For all that Anne herself sees a world full of dryads, white ways of delight, and romance, the quiet joys of Avonlea life and an Avonlea childhood is the foundation for Anne's imagination to fly.
