All the LU Warriors headcanons I’m seeing in the tags makes me want to share my own so uh, have them.
He rarely talked for most of his life. He never really wanted to after puberty hit, he didn’t like how his voice sounded. So he barely interacted with anyone that wasn’t his immediate family. After the war started, however, he wanted to talk more. Even though Proxi could talk for him-which he was very grateful for-he wanted to be able to voice his own opinions by himself.
Speaking of immediate family, he currently has none. He and Linkle are not biologically related, but after the war they now consider themselves to siblings. Linkle’s older by two days.
Wars has a thing for his Zelda(I’m not calling her Artemis I do not like that name for her)but he hasn’t made any moves yet. He gets nauseous whenever he thinks about dating in any kind(mainly Cia’s fault). Zelda respects this, and doesn’t show that she has any romantic feelings about him whatsoever because she doesn’t want to scare him. Wars just thinks his love is one sided, making him wanting to ask her out even less. Linkle’s trying her best to help them out, but she hasn’t been successful yet.
Enough about love, because Wars is a-spec. He’s somewhere on there, I know it. Definitely not me projecting.
Wars loves clothing and the occasional dressing up. He never tells anyone this, but everyone during the war knew it. He got the others to participate too.
Legend once sarcastically criticized Wars’ fashion choice and he changed into his Koholint Hero’s Clothes for a week. Wars did not tell him why he did or what the clothes were called, but Wars felt so proud of himself. Legend just thought he was just making fun of him for his pink hair or something.
Wants to tell Legend so bad about Marin, but Marin probably told him that if he ever meets her Link, to not tell him he met her. She didn’t want to give him any hope that they’ll meet again, because they won’t.
Wars loves fairies. He loves them so much. He loves feeding them, dressing them up, taking care of them, all of that. Fairies love him too, because he tries to feed them whenever the chain isn’t looking. He tries to make sure that no one else knows, since he thinks it’s a bit embarrassing.
Wars wants to use everyone’s items one day. He had so much fun using the Spinner during the war, not to mention the Fire Rod. But he never really asks, since he doesn’t wants to come off as weird.
The ends of his scarf/cape thing used to be red, like in the game, but the dye faded after a few years. He tried to redye it, but it didn’t really work.
He was the captain of his own, specific group consisting of the wayward warriors from across time. They all did interact with regular soldiers, but they mostly worked with just each other and looked to Wars to guide them. Since he usually only command with these guys so I guess he was more of a lieutenant? Idk how ranks work tbh. Nevertheless, he was always called captain by the others, since most of them didn’t really know how ranks worked either. Captain just seemed to fit him. The others who did know about ranks just went along with calling him captain.
Impa helped him so much you have no idea. He was a pretty good leader by himself, but he always appreciated the help.
Both dislikes Tingle and is eternally confused by him. And disturbed. Can’t bring himself to hate him though.
Wars knows things. He’ll nod his head along whenever Time or Wind tell the group their stories, he’s heard them all before anyhow. He does the same with Legend, Sky, and Twilight when they share as well, since he’s heard a lot from their friends. He usually pretends that he doesn’t know anything, however. He’s just nodding along to nod along.
Wars hasn’t told Sky that he met Fi before yet. He doesn’t want to give him any false hope that she’ll wake up again.
he hopes that she’ll wake up too.
Wars doesn’t really understand Four’s negative view of dark magic, or anyone’s negative view of dark magic. A few of his items has a dark attribute, he’s worked with people who had dark magic(like midna), and he’s taken care of dark fairies. Dark magic is just like fire or water magic to him, it’s another type of magic that just so happens to be used by bad guys a lot.
Wars gets along pretty well with Twilight. I’d like to think he’s close with everybody, and besides Time and Wind(and the more teasing relationship with Legend) Twilight’s up there. Probably tied with Sky.
Probably interacts with Hyrule, Wild, and Four the least, compared to others. They all get along, but he almost never actively searches for them to hang out.
Very vague whenever he talks about his adventure. Usually just says something about the war and refuses to elaborate. Everyone’s usually fine with this since most of them do the same thing, but he’s dramatic about it.

ok this time there ARE barbie spoilers but it’s just the things i didn’t like so feel free to ignore this if you had fun and don’t want me ruining anything! like seriously, i do not want to make anyone upset here because of how positive the fandom vibes are. i just wanna y’know, air out some dirty laundry i have with what i just witnessed
as a disclaimer i’ve only seen it once and it ended like 40 minutes ago LMAO forgive me for any name mistakes i suck with those
- ken never got closure and i get what they were going for, just having a bunch of guys repeat “ken is me” over and over isn’t cutting it. felt this way with the “hi barbie” intro. like yes, i get what it aims to accomplish, but god does it get grating
- SOME of the fourth wall breaks were good. most were not. weird barbie and all the discontinued barbies were funny, and the drinking water gag was great. but the narrator stuff was WAY too prevalent and i get that it’s camp, but it was a tad too much at times. i’m torn on the margot line because it wasn’t necessarily bad, i just think it ruined the moment a little
- SO MANY UNFINISHED PLOTLINES OH MY GOD. you’re telling me the travel montage was all it took for gloria and sasha to bond and fix their issues? we saw their conflict through barbie’s memory link, it was never elaborated on. not once. suddenly by the end they’re getting along. the same could be about weird barbie? she always embraced the weirdness so the apology and “un-outcasting” felt off because a) it seemed like she was secluded by her own will and b) the barbies were never necessarily mean to her, they just acknowledged she’s different? which she knew and was okay with and self aware of? idk i guess an apology is fair, but the way it was delivered implied a deeper conflict we never saw
- mattel boardroom. enough said. i get will ferrell probably has a contracted screentime for funny gimmicks but it was so grating and a waste of time
- in a similar vein, all the travel montages combined probably take up as much time as the real-world scenes. for a movie that advertised barbie in the real world at a seeming first glance, that basically never happened LOL maybe that’s on me for having expectations though
- listen, LISTEN. i know there’s a lot of conflict right now with the “boo forced feminism” propaganda spreading around and i swear on god that isn’t me. HOWEVER. i do think that the way they went about resetting free will and that super long montage from gloria was not handled as well as it should have been. do i agree with everything said in the speech she gave? abso fuckin lutely. but remember, SHOW not TELL. they created this brainwashing plot device only to immediately dismantle it with one #girlboss speech which imo, undermines the very point the monologue was trying to make. i just wish they did more actual empowerment and not cheap exposition via a shenanigans montage and a third party speaker reciting a well constructed feminist rant which was just… INSERTED into a feel-good scene. i was hoping for something more organic but that’s just me. like, the barbie feeling self conscious was on the nose, but it did its thing. it’s camp i expected that. by this point in the film however, i expected more
- last thing for now: the plot was just a mess i’m sorry. the beginning was slow and expositional sure i get it, maybe it dragged a little too long when you consider everything else they tried to shove into the runtime, but for a typical film that would be a decent portion of establishing a plot. the real world segment? god, so many open doors, most of them were ignored. 99% of the real world was gimmicks and throwaway lines. the bench scene was the shining gem in that pacing dumpster. mattel plot we already know i don’t like, minus the ruth part. i have a lot of thoughts on ken patriarchy that i don’t have time or effort to unpack right now, but it was funny. and then it went on way too long and became annoying but not in the good way, in the “i get this is camp but it feels stupid” way. gosling killed that musical number but for a film about barbie, that was a hella long ken segment. like, this was a ken movie with barbie having existential dread in the background. then a bunch of magical fixits happen and suddenly all conflicts are resolved through magical means and cheap jokes and imaginary character development!!! oh but they gave barbie a pussy we unironically stan that for her (i’m serious lol like i think the joke was such a lame way to end the film but it’s funny enough to say that this whole film all barbie wanted was gender affirming surgery. i’ll allow it for sheer comedic purposes)
TLDR: i have many many complaints but i don’t think the movie is bad. it’s just fun, not particularly good all around. IT HAS GOOD MOMENTS!!! I AM NOT DENYING THERE IS SOME QUALITY HERE! i just think its hit or miss and while not every film has to be a feminist manifesto, i think all the hype and expectations definitely oversold the actual film i just witnessed because it was not particularly good. but it’s fun! and it’s okay to just enjoy that, this is my initial impression but maybe i’ll grow to like it more. just wanted to put this out here in case someone else feels the same way and doesn’t want to take the fall for finding it mid

Hey cutie!!!💕💕💕🙃
So I'd thought of this scenario the other day, where the reader is working at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital and she's an ex of Jackson Avery (they're still friends); he goes there because someone close to him gets injured and so as he searches for the reader for help, where he also gets to meet one of the new interns, Daniel Kwan, who happens to be reader's best friend since college (who has feelings for her but she doesn't know) and while to Jackson that is very clear, the reader, on the other hand, has no idea, which makes it weird to see them interact with eachother
Idk... I was thinking of something not too sentimental because they're all in good terms but it can end up with a confession or something...🤔🤔 I know you haven't had the opportunity to start the latest season (I totally get it!!! I still don't know how you manage to keep your socials active since you're always working non stop 😖😖 but know that I'm always grateful to have you as a friend, cheering up my days 😘💌)
Btw there's no rush and if you don't feel like writing for Grey's Anatomy then it's all good 😉

PART ONE // PART TWO
Jackson stalked down the corridor, his eyes sweeping inside every room, as he searched for Y/N. It had been a while since he had been to Grey Sloan and though he used to walk its halls every day he had forgotten how big it was. Though the more he walked the more his hand started aching. He had it held against him, pulled tight under his hoodie as he tried to keep it in a way that didn’t make it ache something rotten. As a sharp shooting pain fluttered up his forearm he stopped looking around but as he paused someone collided with him, hitting him directly in his covered arm and making him wince in agony.
‘I’m so sorry!’ a voice came from behind him. As he whipped around he found a doctor he didn’t recognise standing in front of him. His hands were out in front of him though Jackson doubted he knew how much he had hurt him. Jackson went to tell the man it was alright but he watched as realisation dawned on the man's face, ‘Dr Avery?’
‘Yeah,’ Jackson said.
‘I didn’t know you were coming back. Are you here for a surgery? Or…’ the man trailed off.
‘Actually, I’m looking for someone,’ Jackson said, ‘have you seen Dr Y/N?’
‘Y/N?’ the man asked. Jackson nodded watching as a glint arose in the man's eye. And if Jackson looked closely he was sure he saw the tinge of a blush on his cheeks before he continued, ‘she’s scrubbed in at the minute. But I’m on her service if there’s something you need.’
‘I just need her er-’
‘Dr Kwan,’ the man said, ‘Daniel Kwan.’
‘Right,’ Jackson said trying to recall where he had heard that name before, ‘well can you find her for me?’
‘Sure, what shall I tell her?’
‘Tell her I’ll be waiting in the pit for her,’ Jackson said as he felt another wave of pain come over him. Before Daniel could reply he stalked off back towards the pit. He needed painkillers.
✵✵✵
Jackson was sitting in a trauma room scrolling quietly through his phone as he listened to the hubbub going on outside the room. Since his new ally had continued his search he had been able to come down to the pit and get checked in. He didn’t officially have privileges but the nurses didn’t seem to mind following his instructions. He allowed them to take some blood and do a quick X-ray which he looked over himself, confirming his own suspicions of a broken hand but he didn’t interfere anymore. That's why he wanted Y/N. After all her speciality was orthopaedics.
As he heard her dulcet tones outside the room he sat up a little straighter and placed his phone on his lap. The doors swooshed open and she came in in a flurry. Her hair was piled up onto the top of her head and Jackson could see her scrub cap squashed into her scrub pocket. Standing at her side was Daniel.
‘Jackson!’ she said excitedly though her face fell as she took in his mangled hand, ‘what the hell!?’
She darted to his side, her hand holding his gently, wincing as he hissed in pain. The nurses had given him something to take the edge off but that didn’t mean that her mauling with him wouldn’t make his toes curl.
‘What happened?’ she asked.
‘Had a run-in with a power tool,’ he shrugged.
‘Your hands mangled!’ she said.
‘Hardly,’ he said nodding towards the X-rays on the board. Y/N glanced at them but continued to survey his hand a little longer. Daniel walked towards them.
‘He’s right. He’s only got slight fractures to his scaphoid and trapezium.’
‘Maybe,’ she said, ‘but this gash goes through to muscle if not the ligament. And this is a million-dollar hand.’
‘Which is why I came here,’ Jackson said.
‘Well I’d send you to our fabulous head of plastics but he’s no longer here,’ Y/N smirked. Jackson chuckled.
‘Which is why I went second best,’ he said. Y/N swatted him on his good arm. Jackson chuckled but he didn’t fail to notice that Daniel’s eyes narrowed a little as he watched the pair of them.
‘Blue,’ Y/N said as she moved over to the Xrays, ‘order an MRI stat for Jackson’s hand. I want decent images before we plan anything. Then phone the OR and tell them we need to bump my next surgery.’
‘But Mrs Gleeson-’
‘Can wait,’ she said waving him off. Daniel smiled tightly and nodded. Jackson watched them closely as she rattled off instructions.
‘I thought you didn’t do special treatment,’ Daniel said folding his arms across his chest.
‘I don’t. But as I said this morning, Mrs Gleeson still has some swelling to her ankle so whilst we can do her manipulation today it won’t hurt to push her back a few hours. Or even a day. And besides, I might not play favourites but I know someone who does. So it might be better that we get Jackson here in and out before Catherine Fox gets a whiff of what’s happening. Now, are you going to do as I asked or have you still got a problem with how I prioritise my patients?’ Y/N said. Her tone was nice but Jackson could hear the air of authority she was speaking with. Daniel shook his head and left the room.
Jackson watched as she scanned over his X-rays one more time and then sat down on a stool beside him setting up a sterile tray. He said nothing as she took his hand in hers, assessing the damage of the deep gash in his hand. She started to clean the outer edge of the wound and feeling that twinging sensation coming back Jackson decided to speak.
‘So the new interns are pretty outspoken this year huh?’ Jackson said. Y/N looked up at him confused then as her eyebrows broke apart she said, ‘what Blue? Nah, he’s not that bad.’
‘He called you out in front of a patient,’ Jackson reasoned.
‘He called me out in front of you,’ she quipped back, ‘you’re hardly John Doe. And anyway I get what he means. You know I hate special treatment.’
‘And yet you came right away for me,’ Jackson smirked.
‘For your million dollar hand,’ she corrected, ‘and the fact that your mother will find out about this soon enough and I’d rather not have her interrogate me while I work.’
‘Hmm,’ Jackson said. Her movements slowed as she looked at him curiously.
‘What?’
‘Nothing,’ he said.
‘No come on,’ she said knowing he was holding back, ‘spit it out.’
‘It’s just you seem different with him. Any other intern you’d have chewed them out.’
‘Well I haven’t been friends with them since childhood,’ she shrugged.
‘You’ve known him since childhood?’ Jackson asked as his mind scanned back for any recollection that she might have mentioned him to him before.
‘Yeah,’ she said, ‘he’s an old family friend. Our moms are close. He’s not too much younger than me but he’s had some personal stuff so he’s only just catching up that’s why I recommended the programme to him.’
‘You’ve never mentioned him,’ he said.
‘We lost touch a little. I barely have time to see the people in this hospital never mind outside of it,’ she said. Then a memory clicked in Jackson’s head.
‘He’s in that picture of you and your high school friends,’ he said, ‘the one in your hallway.’
‘And here’s me thinking you didn’t notice any of the little things when we were together,’ she chuckled.
‘Hey I noticed enough,’ Jackson smirked which was followed by a wince as she hit a sore spot.
‘Sorry,’ she mumbled returning to her work.
‘It’s okay,’ Jackson said, adding in a low voice, ‘and anyway, I noticed he likes you.’
‘Blue?’ she baulked.
‘Yeah,’ he said.
‘No way,’ she said, ‘we’ve been friends forever.’
‘And?’
‘And,’ she started, ‘and, well I’d know. He’s Blue. The same Blue he’s always been. He doesn’t like me.’
She fell silent for a moment. Panic flooded into the pit of Jackson’s stomach as he watched her work fearing he’d scared her.
‘Y/N,’ he said, ‘I’m not teasing you. I’m being serious.’
‘Jackson,’ she said quietly.
‘I’m just saying,’ he said moving his hand so she was forced to look up at him, ‘remember I’ve been there.’
She watched him for a moment and then went back to her work.  Trying to ignore the niggle in the back of her mind.
✵✵✵
‘That went well,’ Y/N said as she slipped her scrub cap off of her head. She walked into the prep room and knocked the tap on, getting ready to de-scrub. She had just operated on Jackson’s hand. Fortunately, it wasn’t too complicated and she had even managed that Jackson could stay awake throughout assisting somewhat. And though she was still wrestling with what Jackson had told her she had allowed Daniel to assist.
‘Yeah,’ Daniel said as he stood beside her, ‘I’ve never had someone back seat drive whilst doing a surgery though.’
‘Jackson knows what he’s doing,’ she said. He seemed irked. And she didn’t know why…though she suspected, ‘and he’s an expert in his field.’
‘I guess,’ he mumbled.
‘Do you not like him?’ she said looking up at him. She wiped her wet hands on a piece of paper towel and tossed it in the trash as she turned around to lean against the sink.
‘What?’ Daniel asked drying off his own hands.
‘Jackson,’ she said, ‘you seem to have a problem with him.’
‘I guess after all the delays I’ve had seeing someone use their name to get whatever they want annoys me,’ he said going to walk away. Y/N placed a hand on his shoulder stopping him. He turned to face her.
‘Jackson didn’t use any name. I mean his mother owns everything in this damn place. If he was throwing money around he could’ve had Link. But he wanted me. Because he’s my friend. He knows how I work. And I know how much he would value me not making a fuss or a scene. I didn’t help him because he’s an Avery. I did it because he’s my friend, in fact, he used to be more than that,’ she said.
‘You two?’ Daniel said his eyebrows knitting together.
‘Yeah,’ she said quietly.
‘I didn’t know you two used to y’know.’
‘Well that’s all old news,’ she said, ‘but he’s still my friend.’
They fell silent for a moment as Daniel nodded taking in her words. And then without warning, Y/N felt the urge to mention what Jackson had told her before. She didn’t know why but she couldn’t stop herself, ‘in fact he seems to think I’ve got something else going on,’ she said turning away so he couldn’t see her face, ‘he thinks me and you are an item. Isn’t that crazy?’
She chuckled to herself but as she heard nothing in response worry grew inside her and she turned to find him watching her stony-faced.
‘I mean, that’s crazy right?’ she said, ‘Blue?’
‘What do you want me to say?’ he sighed looking away from her.
‘I-’
‘Do you want me to say you’re right? That the idea of us is ludicrous? Or do you want me to tell you something else, something different,’ he said coming towards her. Even hours into his shift he still smelled amazing. He reached out and moved a strand of hair from her face causing a tingle to run down her spine.
‘Blue,’ she whispered, ‘why don’t you just tell me the truth?’
‘Because I don’t know if you want the truth,’ he said simply, ‘but the idea of us…isn’t that crazy to me.’
Before she could respond the doors swooshed open behind them and he broke apart from her watching as the scrub staff filed in, ready to get themselves cleaned up. He smiled at her sadly and left the room.
‘Everything okay?’ Tiffany, a scrub nurse, said to her with concern.
‘Yeah,’ Y/N smiled weakly, ‘I just need to tell him something.’
And with that, she bolted out of the room to find Blue.

Hey hey idk if you're taking requests rn but if you're not just ignore me but
Where is David please I'm scared for my boy (roundabout way of asking for grape crush)
Uuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhh... Before I post this chapter, I just want to say... I had this planned before I received this ask and my first instinct was "oh no" but it's the only ask I've gotten for it :D
--
Somehow, Gaz and Rodolfo had gotten kidnapped together, again. After last time… Gaz would admit that he was not happy with it. Because it was the same scenario. They were tied with their backs to each other, arms bound to each others, wrists bound to each other.
“Are you alright?” Rodolfo asked, his tone gentle.
Gaz winced. “Yeah… you’re not going to sacrifice yourself this time, right?”
“No promises.” Rodolfo chuckled and then sighed. “We should be in and out. I have a tracker on me, this time.”
“What??” Gaz blinked, surprised. “When??”
“My watch, can you feel to see if it’s still on my wrist?”
Gaz wiggled and then felt along Rodolfo’s wrists, relaxing when he felt that smartwatch Rodolfo wore everywhere. He did remember Alejandro complaining that he needed to upgrade Rodolfo’s, but Rodolfo had complained about only having just gotten used to his new phone. “It’s still there.”
“Good. Alejandro upgraded it without telling me and it’s GPS capable. So, hopefully, he’ll be able to find us. So just… sit tight.”
“Wonderful. You know, I think once all of this is fucking over, I’m just going to retire. I have been kidnapped too many times.”
“How many helicopters have you fallen out of?”
“...Too many.”
Both laughed and then Gaz sighed, closing his eyes. “With any luck, neither of us will get shot, this time.” He half joked and then sighed. “So.. What do we do while waiting?”
“You could tell me the rest of that story?”
“A story?” Gaz jerked back at a face suddenly in his view, cursing. He felt Rodolfo tense behind him. The face had a mask on, and sunglasses too. “I like stories.” Their voice was accented, and if Gaz had to guess, it was Korean.
They were hanging upside down in front of Gaz, just sort of staring at him. Then, they dropped down and another person came into view, tall and imposing. They intimidated Gaz, he’d admit, because they had to be taller than Ghost and Gaz was sitting on the floor.
“Look, my husband will be-” Rudy started.
“Save it, El Sin Nombre told us to let you go.” The first sat on the floor, cross legged. “She doesn’t want to deal with said husband, apparently. Also, Koenig grabbed the wrong people.”
Gaz raised an eyebrow. “That’s… King in German, right?”
“You know German?” The tall one spoke up, looking excited.
“I took a couple classes in school.” Gaz winced. “I don’t know much…”
“You know any Korean?” The other asked, chuckling. “Mine is Horangi.”
Gaz winced, because he did not know any Korean. Rodolfo’s head fell back against Gaz’s neck and Gaz could hear him sigh in exasperation. Yeah, him too, Rudy. “No. I don’t.”
“It means Tiger.” Horangi sighed and then he was leaning forward. “You mentioned a story. I want to hear it.”
“I don’t know if we have time for a story.” Gaz tried, though he was wary from Graves. “If we’re being let go.”
“Eh, there’s an emp, that GPS tracker won’t work. So…” Horangi trailed off and Gaz caught the implication. “Koenig, do you want to hear a story?”
“I would, Kätzchen.” Koenig said as he sat down.
Gaz… had to resist very hard not to make a comment on the fact he knew kätzchen meant kitten. It was… almost impossible. But, it was very ridiculous to see this giant fucking man (who had some sort of weird hood over his head…) call the other man kitten in german.
However, Gaz had heard the most ridiculous nicknames in Spanish come out of Alejandro’s mouth. He was… so grateful Alex just stuck to baby. He didn’t need any weird nicknames. Babe and baby were fine.
Rodolfo sighed. “Just… finish the story Gaz so we can get out of here, hermano.”
Gaz… had to resist a very petty moment of groaning and saying he didn’t want to. He was really proud of his restraint as of late. “Well, it won’t work for you to come in at the middle, so I guess I have to tell the first part…”
“Wonderful!” Horangi nodded, sounding amused. “We have as long as needed.”
“Perfect.” Gaz muttered before groaning and sighing, going through the entire first bit of the story.
-
“So, wait, what happened to your brother… David?” Koenig asked, now laying on the floor, his body half in Horangi’s lap. Gaz thought they were both ridiculous, but he wasn’t going to say anything.
Also, somehow, more members of their PMC had came in and were now sitting around the cell.
Gaz sighed. “I didn’t get to that point yet. I was about to and you just interrupted me.”
“You’re a very good storyteller.” Rudy complimented. They’d been untied at that point, since there were now EIGHT mercenaries in the room with them. “Very immersive.”
“Thank you.” Gaz softened, genuinely taking the compliment. “Now, can I tell the rest or…”
“Right, right.” Koenig nodded. “Go ahead.”
Gaz rolled his eyes and then sighed, leaning his head back as he continued.
-
Kyle woke up late, but that wasn’t out of the ordinary. When he woke up, he pulled on clothes for the day and started to think about how he would try to make up with David. He still had some money left, so maybe they could find somewhere to eat lunch and he could apologize for getting so angry.
He did notice that David wasn’t in his bed, but David was late to sleep, early to rise, so he wasn’t too surprised. He was sure he’d have to track him down, but… that was fine.
He decided to ask his other siblings first, since they would probably know. If they didn’t, he’d go and look for Jess.
So, he went down the hallway to Michael and Brandon’s room, pausing when he saw the door was wide open. Frowning, he walked up to the door and peeked in, realizing all of his siblings were in there. Except Anna, the sister David had to bribe to go with him.
And David…
“What’s going on?” He asked, seeing everyone was sort of sitting around. Everyone immediately turned to stare at him and he backed up before realizing Lena was there.
She was the oldest of them, and she’d recently aged out so she had been in Uni and hadn’t came on the vacation. So, for her to be there it had to be… important. They’d actually been fairly close until she’d left. “Kyle…” She came over and made him sit on a nearby bed.
Kyle frowned more and looked around at everyone staring at him. “Where’s David?”
Michael and Brandon both winced and Lena smiled, though it wasn’t quite right. It was… sympathetic. “As you know, Mum and Dad had to rush to the police station last night…”
Kyle nodded. “Okay…”
“Well,” Lena winced. “It was about David. He went to a party, right? With a girl named Jess?”
“And Anna, yeah..” Kyle tilted his head, now very confused. “Did he get in trouble? I’m sorry, I should have went with him…”
No one answered his question. Lena just took a deep breath. “This party had some… drugs and they didn’t react well with the alcohol in his system. He had a really bad reaction.”
Kyle’s stomach sank. “Wait, he’s hurt?? Is he in the hospital? I should go see him!” He got up and went to leave, but Lena grabbed his arm and pulled him back down. Reluctantly, he sat back down and frowned. “What? If he’s in the hospital, I should go and see him.”
“He’s not in the hospital, Kyle…” Michael spoke up, his voice rough. Now, everyone was avoiding his eyes. “Anna is, but he’s not.”
Kyle frowned. “Is he in Jail?” That wouldn’t be good, he knew bail would likely be expensive. Of course, he knew David would spin it and tell it to everyone at school, that’s just how David was. He’d tell all the girls he had a “record” and try to use it to look cool.
He could already imagine him telling the story about how he got arrested for doing drugs at a party. Mum and Dad would be pissed as hell, but David never gave a shit about that.
Lena looked away from him, which confused Kyle more than anything else. “Please, just fucking say it, Lena.” He snapped, now getting irritated. “If he’s in jail, I can handle it.”
“He’s dead, Kyle.” Lena mumbled, almost too quiet to be heard, and Kyle almost wished he hadn’t.
“What?” It was so dumb to be the first word out of his mouth but he still found himself struggling to comprehend what she was saying. “No, no… That’s… No…”
“He is. An ambulance was called… Both he and Jess died, apparently. Curled up together on a bench.” Lena murmured, softly. “The drugs made them both scared so they apparently stayed as close to each other as possible.”
Well, the first thought in Kyle’s mind was… how romantic. The second was that there was no fucking way this was happening right now. “No! That’s not- That’s not fair! I was supposed to apologize this morning! I was supposed to apologize and we were supposed to make up and this was supposed to be something dumb we forgot about, what do you mean he’s dead?!”
“Kyle, please calm down,” Lena pleaded, and now everyone was avoiding his eyes. She took his hands. “He didn’t die in pain.”
“Oh, fuck that, I don’t bloody care about that! He’s dead, who gives a fuck if it’s in pain or not, why did he die?!” Tears welled up in his chest and he refused to cry in front of everyone. “Please, let this just be another prank…” He begged Lena, since David had pulled jokes on him before. “I’ll forgive him if it is, please…”
“It’s not, Kyle. I’m sorry.” She went to hug him and Kyle jerked away from her, not wanting to be touched at all. “Kyle-”
Kyle shook his head. “This isn’t fair…” David had died before Kyle had had the chance to tell him he was sorry and that he forgave him. David had died thinking Kyle was angry at him. That wasn’t fucking fair! For either of them!
He looked around the room, just more frustrated when no one met his eyes. Fuck this.
He turned around and left.
-
Kyle felt the water lazily move the board he was laying on his stomach on. He’d used the Kiwi wax, since David had preferred that scent. He’d even marched into the little store and asked for the Sex Wax brand. The guy at the cash register had looked too startled by his confidence to really poke fun at him or anything, which Kyle was grateful for.
Now, he was on his stomach, laying his head on his arms and looking at where the sun was still rising on the horizon. David had preferred sunsets but… Kyle had woken up too early.
It’d been a week since David had died. Mostly, he just stayed out of the hotel. Thankfully, everyone left him alone about it, too. No one really talked to him, even Lena. Maybe someone else would consider that cruel, but Kyle knew if they’d tried, he would have started to punch people.
They were going home in a week. Kyle wasn’t sure if he was happy or not about that. He couldn’t imagine going home without his brother. Well, he guessed they were. But… he’d imagined being bugged by David for the window seat of the plane, not… having to ship him home.
Kyle shifted so he could move his right arm, using his index finger to touch the surface of the water. He’d considered wearing David’s wetsuit, but that’d felt wrong, even though he knew he’d fit in it. So, he’d just shoved it in David’s suitcase. His mum had considered shoving David in his suitcase as well and Kyle had had to fight not to laugh, because he knew David would have found that hilarious and would have encouraged it. Instead, they’d paid to send him home and Kyle had hid in his closet and cried.
His fingertip sent ripples through the water, though they were quickly broken up by the motion of the waves. He pulled his arm back onto the board and closed his eyes, trying to focus on the rocking of the board.
He wished he’d let David drag him to more lessons. He’d go back and fix it if he could. Or at least apologize. He’d let David drag him to a hundred more lessons if he could. Just a few more with him or even one.
Tears ran down his face and he didn’t bother to wipe them. He didn’t care enough to. No one was around, he didn’t need to fight them or hide them.
He heard soft splashing nearby and ignored it, not having the energy to turn his head and look to see what it was. He just hoped it was someone else who’d had
But, then something was nudging the board, so he had to turn, frowning when he was met with Alex, who was swimming beside the board, his hand on it. “Hey.” Alex smiled, his expression soft, empathetic. “One of the others mentioned a kid came out on the water.”
Kyle bit the inside of his lip and finally wiped his face. “Yeah… I just… wanted to come out here, I guess.”
“I heard about what happened when they told us about Jess.” Alex hesitated. “I’d tell you I’m sorry, but it doesn’t really help, does it?”
Kyle went quiet before shaking his head. It really didn’t. “I think it just makes everyone else feel useful.”
“Yeah, maybe.” Alex nodded and then he was also quiet for a moment. “They want to feel like they’re helping to ease the grief, but time is pretty much the only thing that does that.”
“I don’t think this will ease.” Kyle shook his head. His chest hurt with the grief and there had been a few times he’d genuinely worried he’d suffocate to death on it.
Alex smiled. “It does. I promise. This is from experience.”
Kyle frowned, but he didn’t want to ask. He really didn’t want to try to relate to someone over a loved one dying. That felt so… cliche. “Oh.” Was all he said and looked back down at the board before finally pushing up so he could straddle it, remembering how he was supposed to.
“I found something in the lifeguard tower. Well, I think it belongs to Braedon, but he doesn’t have to know.” Alex nudged him. “You wanna come see?”
Kyle still, somehow, blushed when Alex nudged him and he hesitated before nodding and letting Alex guide the board closer to the beach before washing ashore and getting up, detaching his leg from the leash.
Alex stuck the board in the sand before gesturing him over where a beach blanket had been set up. Kyle sat down and accepted a can of soda from him before watching him sit and get out a little silver box thing. Then, it unfolded and Kyle recognized it as one of those portable DVD players. “I was fucking with it, and you’ll never guess what movie was in it.”
Kyle tilted his head, watching him put the DVD player on a box which had been on the blanket. “What movie?”
“Surf’s Up. What a coincidence, right?” Alex half grinned at him and then he moved back to sit by Kyle. “I immediately thought of you.”
He thought of you. “Oh…” Kyle blushed and softened. He really doubted it was actually a coincidence, but he didn’t say anything, deciding he’d like to pretend, anyway. He watched Alex hit play and pulled his knees up, hugging them and holding onto his soda.
Alex leaned back onto his hands and Kyle focused his attention on the movie, listening to both it and the waves crashing behind him. He did manage to laugh at the sea urchin scene and he definitely picked up Alex going quiet at Cody’s speech.
He had to say, in the three years after David’s death, no one had quite managed to comfort him in his grief like Alex had. They’d barely spoken while watching the movie, just occasionally commenting on funny moments.
Afterwards, Alex had let Kyle talk about his favorite memories with David, and then he’d patiently sat there while he’d cried.
When Kyle had hugged him, he hadn’t pushed him away, just hugged back, and he hadn’t said anything. He hadn’t said any bullshit, like “it’ll be okay” or “I’m sorry” or anything like that.
People liked to say things and maybe that had been why Alex had been comforting. Because he hadn’t said anything except to ask if Kyle had wanted another soda.
Kyle would admit, it had eased the grief a little.
“You know…” Alex started as he picked up the portable DVD player, “it really does get better. It’s like breaking a bone. You don’t think your arm will ever get better, but if you let it heal and nurse it and stretch the limb so it doesn’t grow stiff, it does get better, I promise.”
“What if I don’t want it to get better?” Kyle mumbled. “That… that feels wrong. David deserves more than to be a faded memory.”
“All people are faded memories.” Alex said as he held out his hand and pulled Kyle to stand. “One day I will be. That’s how people are. But, you’ll never forget him. There will always be little things that you look at and you’ll think “David would love that” and it’ll bring the memory back.”
Kyle hesitated before deciding to accept that. “I don’t think I’m going to come to lessons this week…”
“That’s alright, Kyle, I wouldn’t ask you to.” Alex touched his shoulder and then he was half hugging him. “I promise and you can track me down and yell at me if it doesn’t, but… it does get better. One day, you’ll poke at the wound and notice it doesn’t quite throb the same.”
Kyle wasn’t sure he fully believed that, but hey, if it didn’t, it was an excuse to see Alex again. “David thought you were cool, by the way.”
“Really?” Alex half smiled at him, picking up the blanket. “I think if I had talked to him more, we could have been friends. Jess really talked about liking him…”
Kyle watched him pause for a moment before shaking his head and continuing. He stopped and touched Alex’s arm. “You don’t have to pretend to be okay about Jess because you’re comforting me… You two seemed close.”
“We were.” Alex admitted and then sighed. “I didn’t meet her until I got here but… I’m gay, she was trans… We sort of had to stick together, you know? She really wasn’t as cool as she tried to come off. Kind of dorky, honestly. I’m going to miss her.”
Kyle felt kind of bad that Alex had set aside his own stuff to comfort him and he looked down. “I’m sorry… It’s… It’s really horrible. Do you think she would have kept talking to David if they’d um… stayed alive?”
“Yeah. She was already joking about having to upgrade her phone plan for overseas texting.” Alex nudged him. “She really did like him.”
Kyle was glad that David had at least been lucky with his crush. Tears welled up in his eyes, again, and he sniffled, trying not to let them spill. “I’m glad… He really liked her.”
Alex looked at him and then he was setting everything he had down, hugging Kyle again. Kyle hugged back, but still fought away the tears, not really wanting to cry again. He hated crying and he was doing it so much… “I should have went with him…” Kyle mumbled. “I was just frustrated and I thought it would be fine… I hope… I hope he didn’t think I hated him.”
“He didn’t, I’m sure he didn’t.” Alex shook his head. “You’re brothers, you fight. It happens…”
Kyle didn’t believe him. He really didn’t. “I should have sucked it up and went… apologized… He just liked hanging out with me and I pushed him away… I’m horrible…”
“No you’re not, Kyle, you’re 15.”
“And a half…”
“Yeah, yeah. You’re 15 and a half. Trust me, everyone does shit they regret at that age.” Alex rubbed his back and sighed.
Kyle shook his head. “Not to this extent.”
“Kyle, I told my friend that I wouldn’t go to her funeral and she killed herself the next day.”
Kyle paused. “Okay, maybe to this extent…” He admitted, because holy fuck. Well, that explained how Alex had experience, jesus fucking christ. “You win. That’s horrible.”
“I wasn’t… trying to win, but hey, I’ll take it.” Alex chuckled and pulled away. “Don’t get yourself too hard. Okay? You planned to apologize, right?”
Kyle nodded, because he had. “Yeah…”
“Then… leave it at that. The world had other plans, there was nothing you could have done.” Alex nudged him. “Okay?”
Kyle hesitated before sighing and nodding, again choosing to accept Alex’s words. “Okay…”
“Alright. Come on, kid, let’s go find something else to do, okay?”
Kyle hesitated before nodding.
-
He didn’t see Alex much more in the week before he left. He’d decided to spend it with Lena and she had kept him fairly occupied. He did find Alex on the last day and told him goodbye, and Alex had asked him how he was doing.
Kyle had just shrugged, not doing a good job.
As it was, Alex had been right, as the memory had faded fairly quickly, leaving him with just his grief, which school had done its best to distract him from fairly quickly as well.
Within a few months of being home, that summer had been nothing more than a hazy fever dream, one that he looked at with equal fondness and grief.
One long grape crush.
-
Koenig and Horangi were both staring at him. “He died???” Koenig exclaimed before starting to curse in German. “That’s bullshit!”
“What can I tell you?” Gaz couldn’t help laughing. “It’s my life, I can’t change it.” Honestly? David would have been laughing too.
Rodolfo seemed to share their sentiment. “I regret listening to this story.”
“You wanted me to share it!!” Gaz huffed, though he really was amused.
A particularly terrifying member named Roze was borderline in tears which was… an odd sight. Gaz knew she was an ex member of the Shadow Company, which… What a small world. “That’s so awful…” She said, shaking her head.
“But sweet.” Another one, who’d introduced himself as Oni, spoke up. “I mean… he died with Jess, his crush. That’s romantic, right??”
“He died!” Horangi exclaimed. “That’s horrible! I thought this would be a fun story, you have ripped my heart out of my chest and stomped on it.”
Gaz rolled his eyes. “I never said it would be fun… I said it was a story.”
Everyone glared at him, but he just shrugged. “Can we go now?” Gaz asked, crossing his arms. “I told the story, can we leave?”
Reluctantly, they were let go, and Gaz was cussed out a few times on the way out, but whatever, as long as he could leave. Rodolfo found them a car and they went right back to the base where Gaz was surprised by Farah being there. She’d been helping to look for him, this time.
“They let us go, apparently Valeria told them to.” Rodolfo explained when they’d finally gotten back, though he was fairly quickly dragged away by Alejandro.
Gross.
So, Gaz had went to Alex, Price, and Farah. “I am done being kidnapped, I have decided I need a vacation.”
“Oh?” Price snorted, crossing his arms. “Hey, maybe we could go to the beach.” He joked, nudging Gaz. “Go swimming.”
Gaz’s face went dark red and he glared at Price. He went to retort, but then Alex was wrapping his arm around his waist and pulling him close, chuckling. “Not a good idea, sir. Kyle tends to get sucked into riptides.” Farah immediately started to snicker behind Alex and Gaz turned to Alex, his eyes wide as realization struck.
“You remembered?!” Gaz asked, pulling away from him. “This whole time?!”
“Pretty much since you mentioned the lifeguard in Seaporte, yep.” Alex laughed. “I put the pieces together almost immediately. I thought the irony was… funny. There we were, in another beach town, but the situation was flipped where I was the one with the ridiculously inappropriate crush. I told Farah the story when I went back to Urzikstan to help her out.”
“He was kind of a dork about it.” Farah nodded, smiling affectionately and laughing when Alex glared at her. “Came to me all panicked, too, like ‘what do I do??’”
Price snorted and Gaz’s face only went deeper red. “Well, Keller, I can’t say you both aren’t perfect for each other.” He said, clapping Alex’s shoulder.
Gaz glared at Price before relaxing when Alex pulled him close again. Alex chuckled, softly, and kissed his cheek. “It’s sweet.”
“Yeah, sure.” Gaz rolled his eyes, but he did soften and didn’t pull away. “The beach does not sound nice, however, because I’m still not over Seaporte.”
“Fair.” Alex nodded and then snorted. “Now that’ll be a story one day.”
“Yeah, no shit.”

okay time to make a little fnaf theory.
RUIN SPOILERS BELOW!!!
so by now everyone who’s played ruin is trying to figure out the ending and Gregory’s whole speech and wether it was actually him or not right. and though this theory isn’t necessarily leaning towards one side or the other, i just noticed something that i haven’t really seen anyone else talking about? and i feel like it might be some important details.
so the whole reason Gregory supposedly dropped the elevator was to keep the mimic from following Cassie and escaping, right? but that elevator isn’t the only way out. Cassie literally broke down a cement wall to get to the mimic, it very well could just walk its way out that way to the other elevator, Cassie or no Cassie. especially since the elevator Cassie went on to go down isn’t the same one she got on to go back up.
Tumblr media
(yes i was watching jack manifold, it was convenient)
this is the elector Cassie gets on to go down to the fnaf 6 location. It has the double doors in the back, with the arrows and the green button on the other side.
Tumblr media
This is the elevator Cassie gets on to escape. No back doors, no arrows, and it has grate-like doors that close behind her. It’s also noticeably wider. And other than the very obvious differences, it can’t be the same elevator since Cassie also descended several stories below the original one without ever going back up.
So despite Gregory supposedly having maps of the underground area, he didn’t realize that this wasn’t the mimics only route of escape? maybe he thought that the mimic would only follow or wanted Cassie, so he dropped her? I don’t know, if there’s a reason you guys can think of let me know, but Gregory’s whole explanation of “not being followed” just doesn’t quite seem to add up anymore when the mimic can literally just go around the other side through candy cadets area.
but this realization also leaves me with more questions. where does the other elevator actually go? i don’t think we see anything like it in the actual pizzaplex, or anywhere else we’ve been in security breach or ruin. and honestly, i’m kind of confused how there are “schematics” for the whole chase scene area, considering they are dirt tunnels. what were they for? idk ruin left a lot of questions. the wide size of the second elevator makes me think people could have possibly used it for transferring large supplies for construction (or animatronics), but it’s decrepit state makes it seem like it hasn’t been used in a loooong time. who knows if the owners of the pizza plex even knows about it.
I DONT KNOW i’m just kind of rambling, i have a lot of thoughts about fnaf, and if i overlooked any huge or tiny details that would make this make sense, please tell me. but yeah, just thought that was weird :/

{Hello! Here is my half of the matchup trade!!}
{☆} Name: Astraea
{☆} Demon slayer and Aot! (Male results please!
{☆} Female, She/her
{☆} 17, 15-20
{☆} INFP, (yay twinsies!!) 2w1 enneagram also know as the ‘Companion’.
I’m pretty shy/ reserved most of the time though I make an effort to not come off as cold or unexpressive, I always try to smile and I love doing things to make others happy. I’m a nurturer at heart and I always strive to make things easier for everyone around me, even at the cost of my own time. I’m not very good at confrontation so I could see that as being a flaw in the sense that I could keep on bottling negative things up until I have a break down or something, so I could really use someone who would care just as much as I try to. I’m pretty sensitive, on the inside more then the outside, so I think if I was with someone who didn’t pay attention or care about my feelings, I would get worn out pretty easily.
{☆} likes: I like writing, creating characters and stories to go with them. I like drawing and baking, as well as cooking. I like to read in my free time and I’ve always been fascinated by the sky, whether it’s at night or in the day. I could stare at it for hours on end and not be bored. (Idk if that’s weird or not lol) I love milk tea and onigiri!! My favorite colors are cream/white, light blue and dark blue. Dislikes: the thought of loosing everyone I’m close to, people that take advantage of others, and papaya I guess?? It’s hard to think of things lol.
{☆} I have a pretty average body shape I think, edging toward curvy with a short torso and longer legs. I have a round face, long eyes lashes, a button nose and dark brown, small-ish upturned hooded eyes. My hair is inky black and curly/wavy depending on the day. I have round glasses and I like to wear cute clips and rubber bands in my hair.
{☆} reading, writing, drawing, making fantasy maps, playing video games and more
{☆} I like to wear comfy but stylish clothes, so baggy pants and a button up+ sweater or hoodie, sometimes a casual dress with leggings. I like to wear lighter colors, most of the time blues whites creams and green.
{☆} Receiving: I honestly prefer quality time and acts of service the most. It makes me feel like I’m worth something and like the person actually likes to be around me. Giving: i tend to show people I love them by acts of service and words of affirmation. Once I’m close, the compliments will keep on coming. I’m very loyal and will do pretty much anything for a spouse as long as I love them and feel comfortable with them.
{☆} Someone who shows appreciation for me, makes me feel loved despite my flaws, and someone who can understand my feelings. I don’t think I’d get along with someone who is materialistic, as I really appreciate it when people find beauty in the small things. Introvert or extrovert doesn’t really matter, as long as they’re not overbearing/macho or controlling if you know what I mean.
Thank you so much!! I’ll get your matchup out asap!! ^^
Hi hi~! I absolutely LOVE your name! Also you seem like such a wholesome, pure soul 🥹.
This is a match up exchange and I’ve had so much fun with it! Please check out their page! 💜
In KNY, I ship you with…Tanjiro!
Tumblr media
You and Tanjiro are such pure and kind people! Your personality also reminds me of Tanjio’s too. Even though the saying is “opposites attract”, I truly think you and Tanjiro would make such a wonderful and loving couple. And I feel like your similarities will give you both a better understanding of each other.
Tanjiro will appreciate you taking care of him and healing him back to good health after missions. Although he feels great amount of guilt for making you worry about him. He still finds it very sweet and makes sure you know how grateful he is to have you!
Whenever both of you have any down time, Tanjiro makes an effort to set up cloud/star gazing dates. He absolutely finds your fascination with the sky so cute and endearing.
Tanjiro is very doting with his friends and family. And he wouldn’t be any different with you! I can see him always making sure you’re taken care of to. Making sure you’re eating and resting when you need to. I think he’d be very in-tuned with your feelings too.
Tanjiro loves all the cute accessories you put in your hair and will ask if he can braid your hair sometimes. He enjoys how playing with your hair relaxes him after a stressful training session. Nezuko definitely wants to turn after he’s done playing with your hair lol.
Overall, just a very pure and beautiful relationship~!
In AOT, I ship you with…Amrin!
Tumblr media
Another man who is super sweet and kind. I have a sense that you two are very loyal to your loved ones!
Armin will enjoy baking with you as a stress reliever. He’ll also playfully dip his finger in the batter and bop you on the nose just to hear your sweet laugh~
This boy gets SO blushy and flustered every time you compliment him lol. He can’t help but stutter a quiet “thank you” and gently kiss you on the cheek. He’s so happy, but his brain malfunctions and doesn’t know what to do. Also expect Jean to tease him every time he see you two together lol.
Armin also enjoys his laying video games with you. More so the fact that he can think up some strategies to help you beat the boss levels.
Armin admires your caring and nurturing personality. You give him so much strength and love on his more tougher days. He knows he can lean on you and he hopes to be a safe place for you too.
Armin would be so sweet and attentive to you. And I can see you being the same for him, which He’s very grateful for!
I hope you enjoyed your side of the exchange. I had so much fun with this~! ☺️

fave tracks off Cowboy Carter?
!!!! I haven’t actually finished it yet! I had a 40 minute drive this morning so I only made it through Most Wanted, and I’ve been busy grant writing all evening, and didn’t feel like I could listen while working because it is SO COMPLEX!! I was literally mouth agape shaking my steering wheel while listening to the run of Jolene through Alligator Tears. Like the way that Jolene is such a familiar song and story, but the way she made it her own and layered harmonies upon harmonies and then Duaghter with the fuCKING ITALIAN ARIA?!!?! MA’AM???? AND SHE KILLED IT LIKE SHE WAS OBVIOUSLY MEANT TO SIGN AN ARIA LIKE THAT WITH HER MIND BOGGLING MELISMAS BUT IT WAS SO FUCKING UNEXPECTED and the way she wove it into the rest of the song AHHHHHHHH AND THEN !!BAM!! RAP! I was astounded and awe struck and very nearly in tears from how seamlessly all of these styles flowed together, and like, I live with a bluegrass musician who nerds out alll the time about the history of country and roots music and RnB and how all of these things come from African music and immigrants working alongside each other and that the death of country was in 2001 when patriotism brand country was the only thing played on radio anymore and ANYWAYS! I thought I was prepared for Cowboy Carter because I know a lot of the history of country and how it truly came from Black culture, but the way that this album is just so unapologetically weird and genre-bending and disco and rap and country and gospel and classical all in one… it blew my mind like I have not recovered even a little bit from it!!! And I’m only half way through! Listening to this album feels like time traveling!!!!!!!!!
but! To your question! Blackbird was another stand out so far- hearing Beyoncé sing it completely transformed the song for me, like gave me such a visceral sensory bodily reaction to what the words Meant and were Written To Mean. Also, 16 Carriages is so so so beautiful and makes me really really appreciate the way that she builds her sound scapes. The whip crack in that one is A Lot, and rightfully so. The cyclical nature of the song, and the story spanning generations and years but also being so grounded in the present!!!! Amazing!!! And I don’t remember which one it was (I was driving) but the way that she sings about her children is so complex and profound- I have a hard time putting myself in the shoes of parents because it’s not something I’ve ever actually desired or seriously contemplated, but there was a line about seeing her child’s face for the first time in her husband that just transported me to that experience in a way that I’ve never experienced through music before. Idk man I just LOVE this album so much, and I am grateful to be witness to her expression. Can’t wait to listen to it over and over for the next three weeks 😭

oh.. maybe I could do too?
Idk where to start maybe.. I like animals yeah? I had 7 cats at one point I’m still too young to be a cat lady but I’d like to be one :) I’m also really good at cooking I make some great pasta. I’m good with kids and a social butterfly, shy at first but give me like an hour if I’m comfortable with you and you’ll see me blossom. I have good humor if I’m comfortable with the people I’m around I crack a few jokes, something about making people laugh and smile makes me smile too. I guess happiness is contagious
I’m 5’3 kind of hourglass body? I’m good looking even if I put in the work or if I don’t I don’t have any tattoos, I like modest wear and I always look clean and elegant the type of “not one stray hair out of place” person. and loooveee jewelry. A makeup freak but don’t wear it too often I try to stay natural :). Im an achiever I must try my best in everything.
Loooveee reading even if the book is shitty but something about flipping pages and getting into a diff world by just words is just ❤️. I also write some stories that aren’t published I’m good at poetry kind of? I’m a great performer on stage but get shaky. I’m a nerd.. you won’t tell but I am.
I’m sweet naively very confident some people call it cocky but I know who I am. I love to help and provide and aid, hence me getting into the medical field :). I’m very nice I’ve been told and I have a “welcoming and nurturing aura” a friend told me that. I’m actually very outspoken and my mom keeps joking about me becoming a Lawyer rather than a doctor.
Somehow people feel very comfortable around me and I feel very grateful to be their person at least :) it brings me joy knowing that someone trusts me and feels like they can tell me anything.
I love spicy food and anything sweet I have a sweet tooth I’m talking like 5 packs of sugar for ONE cup of tea. Oh shit I’m a tea drinker I hate coffee it tastes weird to me.
I love nature to a extreme point unless bug bites and mosquitoes bites are involved. I also love sightseeing. I enjoy my hectic life but also want to go home to peace and quiet. At the end of the day I can manage my life without a partner or with, I just want someone I can share peaceful silence with yk cooking in the kitchen with the cats watching.
Also I love ur writing :) !!
Thank you <3
John Price
How you met: Civilian You were enjoying a nice summer day in Brighton when you met John. You spent the day lounging along the rocky shores and dippy your toes into the brisk water. It was a much needed reprieve from your late nights trying to remember diseases and treatments. Eventually, you found yourself on the boardwalk and admiring the small trinkets at the various kiosks. As you tried on some sunglasses, a small child came running up to you and hit behind your legs. "Well hello there," you exclaimed and bent down to the child's height. The brunette girl smiled up at you as you looked around for her parents. "I'm hiding from my uncle," she whispered and you saw a flustered man trying to find the missing girl. You smiled at her before offering a hand. "Tell you what, let's get you to your uncle and I'll buy you a treat?" to this she smiled and followed you as you walked up to the man. He took off his hat and looked relieved when you returned your niece. "Found this one trying to hide behind a kiosk," you said as he gratefully shook your hand. "My sister's kid always finds a way to run off," he joked and held his niece's hand tightly. "I did promise her a treat for being so cooperative," you said and she ecstatically nodded. You pointed to an ice cream stand with a short line and the young girl ran towards it, with her uncle at her heels. While John tried to pay, you selflessly offered to pay for your two small cones and his niece's large ice cream cone with extra toppings for good measure. With sticky ice cream coating your fingers, you and John learned of your many shared interests and even exchanged contacts as his niece enjoyed her reward.
A peek into your relationship: John was always at awe at your interesting taste in food. For someone so polite and elegant looking, he would assume you were picky but you loved everything under the sun. Today, you had decided to spent dinner in your flat and you made him Spicy Southwest Bean & Corn Salad. He insisted helping you cook but you simply told him to just sit on the couch and entertain your new litter of kittens. As you saw John hold up their small ribbon toy, you called him to the dining room table. "I made yours not as spicy," you joked as he sat. You knew John had a low spice tolerance and he smiled gratefully at your mercy. As he chugged water after every bite, he looked shocked as you added more and more hot sauce to the salad. "You're crazy," he laughed as you enjoyed the meal, "have to say this is one of your best dishes." You thanked him as you continued your conversation about the latest novel series you were reading. Finally, you both finished and John kindly took your plates and cleaned up the kitchen as you settled on the couch with one of your kittens curled up next to you. "Want some tea, love?" he called and you readily agreed. When he returned with two mugs, you took one sip and your smile faltered. "No sugar?" you asked and he nodded seriously. "I think it would be a crime to add five sugar cubes," he stated and before you could get up to the kitchen, he pulled you in a comforting hug. "Not letting you out of my sight, sweetheart," he said and you accepted defeat before settling back down and continuing to read your novel in his comforting presence.

Hi.
So I’ve been a bit radio silent on here, and for several reasons. Firstly, I’m distancing myself from this fandom and GVF entirely until they speak up about Palestine. I’ve stopped listening to them, it’s giving me the ick. Idk it just feels weird even looking at them now. I cannot listen to a band who doesn’t practice what they preach. I’ve been very disappointed on the silence from the boys. This is something that everyone needs to know about, and if they used their platforms for good, it could make an impact. Now I understand this could be for contract reasons which honestly fucking sucks. Knowing that Danny liked posts about Palestine on insta just rubs more salt in the wound.
If HANNAH of all people spoke up about Palestine, why can’t the boys?? I’m honestly very happy she took the time to post about it despite her past actions, I’ll give her that.
Secondly, my mental health has not been good lately. I’m currently being partially hospitalized for anxiety and depression. Earlier this week, I got an official OCD diagnosis, something I’ve been waiting to get for years. It feels incredible to finally have this clarity and I’ve realized that I’m not crazy, but I’m still struggling. I’ve been spending a lot of time offline to focus on myself, and it’s been beneficial for me. The program I’m going through is tough, but it’s also very healing, and I feel so grateful that I’m doing it.
So yeah, I’m still here but I’ll probably be more inactive. Thanks for the love on this blog ❤️

AHSOKA EP. 1 RECAP
hi! so I’ve been like, totally MIA, super busy, avoiding Tumblr at ALL COSTS so I could avoid Ahsoka spoilers until I watched it. and now I am BACK and HERE and I want to share my THOUGHTS so get ready, spoilers for Ahsoka episode 1 under the cut
1. I LOVE SHIN HATI SO MUCH!!!!
Tumblr media
you all know I love a darksider and that I also love a HOT darksider and now we have one who is a WOMAN and not a weird alien woman but like an actual badass hot chick who has the dark side EMANATING out of her eyes (I also very much love badass Reva who is hot but not *spoiler* truly a darksider). and Shin Hati is also a PADAWAN and she has a PADAWAN BRAID I’m dying, dark padawan energy? Shin HOTTY am I right (I want to dress as her for Halloween so bad)
2. I’m not sure why they made Sabine into this Padawan character 😂 I’m sorry but it just doesn’t make sense for her to learn the ways of the force!! there are literally lines in rebels about how she doesn’t use/“have” the force.
Tumblr media
and like, I understand that there’s a lot of story we missed between her and Ahsoka in terms of what happened after the end of rebels and before now. but it doesn’t make sense for her to learn/want to learn to be a jedi. she’s mandalorian! the scene where she surpasses her mandalorian helmet in favor of her lightsaber? I don’t get it. I absolutely love Natasha Liu’s performance though. she captures Sabine’s essence very well. Maybe I will come around on this whole jedi thing when I watch the next few episodes. I also don’t get why Ahsoka would want to teach her to be a jedi? what happened to “I am no Jedi”??
3. I loved loved LOVED seeing Lothal in live action. So good!! I love how prominent of a storyline Ezra is, from the very beginning. I love that this is a continuation of Ezra’s story. and I LOVE THE LOTH CAT I cried when I saw him (if he got hurt in that battle I will sue)
Tumblr media
4. I don’t really understand the aesthetic choices made in the graphic design/the end credits. They’re leaning into this weird ancient/nordic vibe and it makes no sense for Star Wars. I get every show is going to have its own aesthetic but the ancient EUROPEAN?? vibe is literally the antithesis of the original star wars aesthetic and it seems Jon Favreau-y, Marvel-y to me (like it’s okay for them all to share some basic design rules okay?!)
5. on the flip side, I like the soundtrack! it’s definitely different aesthetically but I like how it sort of leans into the epic fantasy vibe. I’m into it.
6. As much as I think Rosario and MEW are doing an excellent job portraying Ahsoka and Hera, I don’t love the costume/character design. the contacts are weird and idk I just feel like it’s such a big budget show and they could have done better!! but I can get over this.
okay those are all of my current and immediate reactions! overall I am very excited and I can’t wait to see where this goes and even when I post things I didn’t love/choices I didn’t understand, I want to make it clear that it is not hate on this show! I am very grateful it exists and excited to see where it takes us. These are just my absolutely unfiltered thoughts. Please comment if you agree/disagree. See you after I watch episode 2!!

Virgil and Beatrice (A Starry Night Epilogue)
CW: Mentions of farting (idk if this needs a cw but I'm being safe) and anything related to AoIS and what happened earlier.
So this is just a funky epilogue I wrote to tie some stuff over. It's not requiered reading or anything, but I hope all of you enjoy :3.
----------------------
You spend a lot of time sleeping while in her camp. Your neck injury has been getting better, but there’s only so much her incantations can do. You can’t get up from your sickbed just yet, much less get out of the makeshift tent that was made for you, but you’re well enough that you can speak and sit up without wincing in pain. It’s been only three days, but you’ve been making remarkable progress. She comes over twice every day and keeps you company. This time she brings you your plain gruel and talks to you about anything really. She’s always been the chatty type, a bell on every tooth, but you don’t mind it. You’ve always been more of a listener anyway. It almost makes your gruel have some flavor, other than the iron taste of blood that lingers in your mouth, that is. “I’m sorry, but you can’t eat any solids still, not until I can make sure your neck won’t open up again.” She says upon seeing your dismayed expression. “At least I tried to make it as rich as possible. There’s nothing worse than watery gruel.” You sigh, looking at the beige colored paste on your plate. “I’m grateful, it’s just that the flavor leaves much to be desired.” You bring a spoonful to your mouth, swallowing the gruel carefully. “Yeah….” She says, looking at you as you eat away at your plate. “Well, look on the bright side. At least you’re getting a lot of fiber in your diet, I bet you haven’t been this regular in years.” You roll your eyes at the comment and continue eating despite the crass nature of her chosen topic.
She stares, but then a smile slowly creeps onto her lips. Oh no. “Well… I guess I don’t actually have to guess that your bowel movements are fine.” She says, trying not to laugh as you put your spoon down and look at her as deadpan as you can. Do you want to know? Probably not, but if you don’t ask it’s just going to be this weird inside joke, except she’s the only one in on it. You sigh. “... And how do you know that?” It’s better to get it over quickly, you tell yourself, but you feel instant regret the moment her barely contained laughter turns to a mocking smile. “Well… You probably haven’t noticed, but during the nights sometimes I’m woken up by a rather loud noise. I just couldn’t figure out what it was.” She says, setting up whatever wicked punchline you’re about to be the butt of. ”It took me a few nights of investigating before I discovered that… someone kept farting in their sleep!” She fully breaks into laughter after that. You feel your cheeks redden as shame washes over you like cold water. “W-what?! I don’t-” You’re about to defend yourself, but suddenly you’re reminded of something. The other day… you asked her if she’d seen any skunks or honey badgers around the camp. You remember smelling something foul as you woke up. She was barely containing her laughter then too! You cover your face with your hands as you groan. Maybe it’s not too late to die for real. “Hehe… Luckily the kids are pretty heavy sleepers, so don’t worry. ” She tries to comfort you, but it’s failing. Hard. She brings a hand to your chin and pets you beneath it. It feels… nice. Though you’re still very embarrassed. “... S-sorry.” You manage to say. “It's okay. I’m just glad you’re getting better, even if the process might not be pleasant.” She moves to pet behind your ears and you bring your hands to your lap. She hasn’t lost her touch after all these years.
You stay like that, eyes closed and mouth on the verge of panting, for a while until she pulls her hand away. Her touch immediately is sorely missing. “Now eat up. Flatulence or not, you’re not getting any better if you don’t keep your body nurtured.” She says, smiling at you kindly. You sigh and look down at your porridge. “Right… the gruel that makes me fart like a sheepdog on a short chain.” You pick up your spoon and continue eating with some trepidation. She shrinks her shoulders. “If it bothers you too much, I could always plug you up at night. I’m sure I have that toy in storage somewhere.” The gruel flies from your mouth as you sputter. This woman will be the death of you.
After lunch is done, she turns to cleaning your wounds. Slowly and gingerly she removes the bandages around your neck, then she applies antiseptic directly into the closing wound using some clean cotton. You can’t suppress the whine that escapes you as the chemicals sting in your skin. "Sorry. I know it stings, but that means it's working." She tries to comfort you as you try not to wince. “With this, your body should be able to continue healing even without incantations.” She pulls out new bandages and wraps them around your neck. Tossing the old bloodied linen away. “I’m just glad to be alive at all. If I died then….” You reach out for her hand, and she places it in your palm. So soft and so small compared to yours. “I would have never been able to tell you how I felt. I don’t think I could have taken such regrets to my grave.” You look into her eyes, and she smiles. Her other hand reaches up to pet behind your ears. “I’m glad you’re alive too.” She says, making your tail wag.
"Rogier's outside watching the kids if you need anything," she says as she's leaving. "I'll go check up on Iji. Hopefully, he's managed to dodge the assassins until now. It shouldn't take more than an afternoon." She leans down and kisses your forehead. "Try to sleep, okay? Recovering uses up a lot of energy." You nod. "Thank you. I think I can rest easy knowing Iji has you backing him up. Just come back in one piece, eh?" She smiles and ruffles the fur on your head before leaving. Once you are alone, you lean back and begin dreaming. For once, your dreams feel peaceful.
—------------------
The wolf’s bane and the violet they bloomed long ago
And the brier-rose and the tulips danced amid summer glow;
On the hill the sword-flower and the aster in the wood
And the snowdrop by the brook in autumn beauty stood
Till fell the frost from the clear cold heaven as falls the plague on men
but the brightness of their smile was not robbed from upland glade and glen
—------------------
You wake up sometime later. It’s hard to tell what time it is inside the tent, but you can guess the sun might set soon. There’s a slight weight over your chest, something light enough that you could still sit up if you wanted without much trouble, but something that’s breathing softly on your chest. You look down to find a familiar gray pup sleeping on top of you. Aster’s leaning forward while his legs are still kneeled by the side of your bed, his arms are folded beneath his head as a makeshift pillow. You have to wonder why he’s here. Isn’t Rogier supposed to be watching over them? Though you’re glad to see that he’s okay even after all that happened in the Moonlight Altar. Physically at least… You can only hope Aster wasn’t scarred by almost watching you die in front of him. The fact that his mother has been your only company these last few days made you afraid that maybe he didn’t want to see you. Well, he’s here now, so that can’t be.
You feel Aster stir. He opens his little mouth wide open with a yawn, complete with that signature whine. “Hello Aster. It’s been a while.” You say to the boy who smiles as he makes eye contact with those irises of faded lavender. “Dad!” He hugs you, careful around your neck. You put your hand on his back and return the hug as best as you can. “Mum said that you were getting better, but that you’ll need to rest some more before I can show you around our camp.” He says, his little tail wagging into a blur. “I would like that, thank you.” You respond. Aster hugs you for a moment longer, then returns to a sitting position by your side.
His eyes linger on the bandages around your neck, then he looks away, wringing his hands together. The mood takes a hard dip into something more serious. Oh no, have you upset him? “Aster…? Is something wrong?” You ask, sitting up. Aster looks around the tent. He hesitates before speaking. “Umm… I’m sorry you got hurt because of me….” His little eyes meet with yours, they’re filled with honest remorse. “I should’ve paid more attention… Maybe then you wouldn’t have almost….” He trails off as he begins to sob, bringing his hands up to wipe the tears, but they can’t stop the deluge. You pull him closer and he cries into your chest. “It’s not your fault, Aster. I was responsible for your safety… I… I don’t mind getting hurt to protect you.” You try to console him, but he shakes his head. “But I don’t want you to! I *hic* I just want you to be okay….” He says between sobs. You’re not doing a good job at consoling him, are you? Maybe it’s time you stop thinking like a self-sacrificing shadow, and start thinking like a father. You let Aster cry until he’s calmed down, rubbing your hand gently on his back while he lets it all out. The boy sobs, unloading all the worry you’ve put him through since you were at the altar.
Once he calms down, you lean down as far as you can without straining your wounds and kiss him on the forehead. “I’m sorry I worried you so much, Aster. I promise….” You stop. It’s a big promise to make, but you’re shadowbound no longer, so you’ll have to get used to making them on your own now. “I promise I’ll be more careful from now on, is that okay?” The boy looks up at you, his eyes red and his cheeks stained with tears. You wipe them away with your thumb. “I’ll never regret protecting you, but… I also don’t want to scare you like this again.” You say. The pup leans into your hand as you pet him behind the ears. “... Okay… then I’ll be careful too….” Aster says. He’s still a little upset, but he seems better.
You stay with Aster a little longer. A little bit of his previous cheerfulness returns as he talks to you about the camp, his siblings, his mother and uncle Rogier. Just like his mother, he seems to be the chatty type. He talks to you about all the fun things he likes to do with his siblings, mentioning how going fishing to the creek is his favorite thing to do, you mention that you’ve never gone fishing before and he offers to teach you. “Fishing in Liurnia is really fun, but….” He trails off, hesitating to speak once more. Oh no, did something happen again? Before you can ask what’s wrong, he answers for you. “Are you… staying forever now?” He looks at you, his expression is a little hard to read, but he seems… hopeful. You look at the entrance of the tent. She offered you a place to stay, and you agreed, didn’t you? You want to stay forever, but… Truth be told, there is still a part of you that feels like this is more than what you deserve. A part of you that wants to continue running away. All this time it’s been you who’s the problem. You’re the one everyone had to work around. You’re the one who’s nature put everyone in danger. You don’t feel like you’re worthy of… this. And yet you look at Aster, his hopeful eyes tinted a soft shade of periwinkle. Another oath to keep, another promise you’re making on your own. You may not be worth them right now, but… “I’ll stay… forever.” You answer. He smiles and his little tail wags itself into a blur. If you’re not worthy of them now, you’ll just have to become worthy of them. It’s your new oath, you decide. This is your new fate.
—------------------
You approach the Three Sisters once more, the evening breeze blows through the now empty towers. Their owner has departed and their purpose now is to crumble. Were it up to you, you would never set foot here again. But Iji came this way, having discarded his spot by the entrance in an attempt to flee from his pursuers. The large troll footprints make it impossible to conclude otherwise. It’s likely the Black Knife Assassins approached him fairly recently if the prints’ freshness is anything to go by, it happened just this morning at the latest. So you return, but not without caution. All the assassins you’ve found have been dead, their bodies having crumbled to ash leaving nothing but their gear. Iji might’ve dealt with them on his own, but based on the shape of the notches left on the armor, it’s likely that whoever did them in did so with a sword. Wouldn’t Iji use his hammer? Furthermore, all of them had similar marks, meaning all of them were killed by the same person. That’s pretty insane considering it’s a twenty-four versus one match where the one side was victorious. That’s why if there’s someone even more dangerous than the assassins, you need to be careful not to catch their attention.
“I can’t thank you enough for what you did….” You hear Iji’s voice somewhere nearby, you almost call out in response when you hear it again. “Yes… neither Blaidd, Lady Ranni nor the tarnished noticed your presence. Though I have to wonder why it would be problematic if any of them saw you.” It’s coming from the left. You wander over to Seluvis’ Rise, Iji is standing by the front of the tower, talking with someone on the top floor. You can’t see them from here, but it doesn’t look like it’s the unpleasant Preceptor. He would never be seen without his hat. “I see… Well, I’m grateful you took care of Astel and the assassins. I’m not sure Blaidd would have been able to while protecting the little one….” Astel? Was that the name of the thing you found past the Lake of Rot? And was the person in the tower responsible for killing the assassins too? You almost go over and call Iji’s attention, but you remember what was said earlier. This person was kept secret from everyone, even Ranni herself. If you go over right now, it might cause them to flee. You decide to hide amongst the foliage and listen. Perhaps it’s just morbid curiosity, but if something is being kept secret from you, you want to find out what.
Iji stays quiet. Listening to the person at the top. If only you were closer, you might be able to hear their voice. You creep towards the tower slowly so as to not alert either party. “Blaidd and the tarnished have returned to her camp, but I hear he’s recovering well. Lady Ranni did not wait to bid him farewell, but I shall tell him she did if he ever asks. It’s the least I can do to spare his feelings….” Iji says to the entity. From here you can almost make out a whispery voice. You strain your ears to make out what they’re saying. “... he’s always been so loyal to her, and yet she can’t even say goodbye properly? Here I thought nobles were supposed to have manners.” The voice, a man’s, says. Iji shakes his head. Then lifts his gaze up to the skies, the stars have started to appear and the moon is almost full. “I’m afraid Lady Ranni and Blaidd will never get a chance to truly reconcile. The shadowbound cannot be equal to their masters by design… Blaidd could never forgive her on his own terms for her failings.” The figure stays quiet, the evening breeze rustles the leaves off the trees. “... Maybe it’s better this way… I hope you’ll continue to watch over him after I’m gone. It’s unlikely that I’ll be returning….” The man says and there’s a certain sadness in his voice. Iji nods. “Of course. Blaidd may be boorish, blunt and unable to locate his nose with both hands, but he’s a good egg. I would be remiss if I didn’t make sure he acclimated to his new life as a free man.” You can’t be sure from here, but you almost make out the silhouette of the man at the top from here. A sharp, wolven profile comes into view in the dwindling light. Another half-wolf?! You audibly gasp and then immediately cover your mouth with both hands. Iji and the man in the tower take notice, and look around for the source of the noise. Iji looks behind him, trying to spot any interlopers, but the man at the top stares down directly into the bushes where you’re hidden. He steps out closer to the edge and you make out his suit of armor. Thin brass plate, intricately adorned and lovingly crafted, covered by a red shawl that extends up to the hands. His face is still hidden in shadow, but his eyes shine in the growing moonlight. An icy blue one and a faded lavender one. They stare directly at you and you can’t help but hold onto his gaze. The moment extends infinitely long as though a single second could last years. You almost give in and announce your presence when the man breaks away from visual contact. “... It was nothing… Probably some stray critter.” He says, clearly ignoring your presence. There’s no way he didn’t see you. “I should get going anyway… Stay safe, Iji.” The troll nods, deciding to ignore the noise as well. “Very well… With this I mark that you have upheld the ancient concord that binds our worlds together. Though it was a coincidence that joined us, it was comradery that led us to victory.” Iji recites what seems to be some sort of chant or sacred oath. From the tower you feel the soft glow of Grace. “With this I bid you farewell… Lobo of Medía.” With those final words, the man was returned to his world in fading light. So he was a summon from another world? You’ve heard of other tarnished summoning allies from adjacent realities, but you never gave it much thought. What do these other realities look like? Are they different from the Lands Between or are they all the same?
“It is rude to eavesdrop on conversations, tarnished.” Iji says, breaking you out of your interdimensional reveries. Fuck. You stand up from your crouched position, feeling a little embarrassed at being caught. “Sorry, but you can’t expect me to not be curious if you talk about me.” You say, causing Iji to shake his head in disbelief. “Good grief….” The old War Counselor sighs. You turn to look at the tower. From where you’re standing you can tell there’s no one inside. “Who was that?” You ask the troll. “That… was a collaborator from another world. Usually only the tarnished can summon such allies, but I have my own methods….” Iji explains. You nod, crossing your arms. “I figured that much out, but who was he? He seemed to know a lot about Blaidd and Ranni….” Iji shakes his head. “As I explained, he was just an ally from another world. Whatever his reasons are for helping are not for me to say ....” Iji remains stubborn about saying nothing. It doesn’t seem like you’re getting any more out of the troll.
“Huh… well whatever. I came to check up on you. I’m glad to find you’re safe.” You change the topic, trying to get the image of those eyes peering at you out of your head. Iji looks down at you from beneath his mirrored helm. From here you can truly appreciate how tall he is. “Thank you so much for your concern. I’m fine, the assassins are gone and I shall depart from this place soon.” His voice remains as calm as ever, despite the circumstances. “Hopefully we shall meet again soon. I doubt you’d refuse the services of a good smithing hand.” He seems happy. Maybe ushering the Age of Stars in has put him in a good mood. “You bet. I’m sure Blaidd will be happy to see you too.”
You accompany Iji out of the manor, but the strange circumstances on the tower stick with you. Maybe you were just imagining it, but you felt like maybe that half-wolf’s eyes looked familiar.

ok so i’m trying to be more mindful of how i share personal things on the internet but like, i really want to blog about Gender, and blogging about your gender feels like a classic trans thing to do! and i blogged about gender on here for Years and i kinda want to see how it feels to pick that up again
idk where this is going so
part of starting my physical transition has been really grappling with how my mom’s transphobia fucked me up for like, a long time. and while coming out to her and having her react fine was really great and i’m so glad she took it well, she also hasn’t made even the slightest attempt to acknowledge my gender, let alone the things she said to me. and i’m sure she genuinely doesn’t remember most of it like i do, but like. she knows that happened!
and also, aside from that, actually unpacking the things around my gender i had to hide from myself because i couldn’t fully deal with how all that down. one of the things she threw at me was that i was too feminine to be trans, and then said unkind things about being a gay trans man, and i wonder how THAT impacted my perception of my attraction to men (aside from all the other [not relevant] Stuff with that).
but also, i didn’t have the term nonbinary at the time, but i know i had that feeling. i knew i was a man, but i also knew i wasn’t. bigender was the closest i got until i hit nonbinary, and that feels right. but i also think for me, personally, identifying as nonbinary was my “close enough.” i could live fairly closeted like that, and i did for a long time, because its what i felt i had to do. but it also meant that even at my most “open” i was never really open. i was never actually out!
it’s so hard to not also bring up sexuality in this, because THATS been its own confusing thing, and while they aren’t the same thing they’re definitely very connected in me!
but i’m trying to focus on gender, and how it really is weird trying to navigate the world as a feminine, non-passing trans man. i can’t bind and i have a big chest, plus wide hips, which are really the main things that make it impossible, but also. i wear bright colors and patterns and jewelry! i have long hair! and just a million other little things that i COULD give up to try to pass more, but like. it would just defeat the whole purpose of this to give up on a single authentic thing about myself, on anything i love about myself. and i love my style! and my hair!
and like, i don’t blame people for not reading me the way i want them to in spite of that. i truly think most people don’t mean anything rude by it! they just cannot see past the tits lmao it’s just like, damn, if my body was different i would just not have this issue. and i may have different issues, but i wouldn’t have this one!!
i don’t think i solved anything here, and i’m also not trying to speak broadly on gender. just thinking through what’s coming up at this stage of my transition. i’m so grateful to be transitioning, still. i’m glad weird things are coming up! i’m getting to learn more about myself. it’s been a fucked up year and a half, and i’m worn down in a lot of ways, but i think i’ve also grown and learned a lot, so at least it was worth something lmao

Recently I kind of unofficially stopped talking to my therapist of like , 5 years and I’m feeling like weird and bad about it rn. The thing that happened was like, idk I just got so frustrated and didn’t wanna talk anymore. She’s a really nice person and We have a rapport bc of how long I’ve been seeing her, but at the same time there have been several things that have just been compounding over time and I couldn’t rlly take it anymore:
Last year when I brought up to her that I think I’m autistic, her response was that I couldn’t be because I have an excessive amount of a empathy. And I did explain to her that lack of empathy is not an autistic trait & that it’s a classic ableist mischaracterization, which she SEEMED to be open-minded about at the time. But consistently whenever my BF comes up in convo (he’s diagnosed with autism) she makes it a point to remind me that because he’s autistic he lacks empathy. That’s one thing that really REALLY started to grate on my nerves. It wasn’t relevant and it was factually incorrect. And I guess it hammered in that I will never be able to discuss with her the possibility of me experiencing undiagnosed autism.
Another problem is that still to this day, despite NEVER knowing me when I identified as a girl, she continues to accidentally misgender me or call me “ma’am” instead of sir. She corrects herself but like, idk why I let it go for so long? I’m VERY bad about correcting people IRL so I just let it go time and time again. I was never going by she/her pronouns when we started talking. Clearly she’s just another cis person who hears my “girl” voice and decides internally that I’m a girl.
And on a less serious note I just didn’t feel like I’ve improved at all in the 5+ years we’ve been seeing each other. It wasn’t a waste of time; I’ve learned valuable coping skills and made some important life decisions with her help. But like, I have a litany of mental illnesses that feel untreated at their core and I never feel comfortable enough to open up about them to her on a deeper level. I don’t feel like we’re dealing with anything except little IRL problems I encounter, and my general anxiety. I feel like I’m far worse off mentally than I was years ago and it makes me really unbelievably sad.
I guess all this is to say that I know I NEED a new therapist but Im terrified of the process I have to go through to get one, and get to know them. And I feel like I lost a friend in my old therapist and I’m having trouble not seeing myself as a failure for that.
The only thing I KNOW is what I need, but I have no idea where to find it: I need remote therapy available because I travel across the country several times a year and it’s just a much easier format for me because when I deal with people in person I get way too focused on masking my awkwardness and social anxiety. I also need a queer / LGBTQIA therapist because I’m genuinely tired of babystepping around cis ppls surface-level understanding of my trans experience. Having an ally as a therapist is truly not enough, I don’t want to have to explain the intricate details of what it’s like to be queer.
Sorry for rambling, I don’t wanna put too much of my private life online but it’s something I’ve been wrestling with for a couple months and I needed to write down what I was feeling. If you have any advice, a similar experience, etc, it’s very much appreciated.

Okay Starry,
I always like to know what was the first run/death?
Height?
Favorite universe?
Closet friend? (other than Mark)
Alright, let's do this~!
First Run/Death
In the first timeline, Yona chose to Fix The Life Support and Wake The Crew at every opportunity, meaning she got the "ending" where everyone except Mark was okay, the ship made it to its destination, and the colony thrived for the rest of Yona’s natural life.
(She also spent the rest of her life haunted by the memory of Mark being sucked out the window into the vacuum of space. The guilt of not being able to prevent it, despite being right there...! She supposed she should be grateful that there weren’t more casualties, but. What can I say? She would’ve liked for every member of her crew to be able to enjoy their mission’s success.)
(So imagine her surprise when, after Going Into The Light, she found herself brought back to that fateful moment. At the time, she felt like the universe was giving her a chance to make up for the greatest regret of her career. She was more than willing to do it all over again if it meant that her crew could be whole this time.)
Height
Yona is 2 inches taller than Mark, however tall he is. Google tells me he’s 5′10″, but that’s weird because I’ve seen a lot of people joke about him being short? And I feel like 5′10″ is not very short at all, even for a man, so idk what’s going on here. If he is 5′10″ though, that means Yona is 6 ft tall (or 182.88 cm).
That sounds about right 😎
Favorite Universe
Well her favorite universe is the one we get at the end when the paradox has been resolved, but assuming you mean the weird alternate wormhole realities, I think she vibed with the Noir route the most~.
EDIT 6/8/22 I have changed my mind. Yona’s favorite weird alternate universe is actually the one with the “Oh My God The Captain Is Back” song.
Sure it was bizarre and silly, but. God, she’d been up to her eyeballs in chaos and gief by that point, she’d witnessed so much suffering and suffered so much herself, and even though she still needed to find Mark, she was so glad to stumble upon a universe where the rest of her beloved crew were all okay and having a good time.
And they were happy to see her!! After the time she’d been having, that fact nearly made her cry.
Closest Friend (other than Mark)
Yona does her absolute best to treat all her crewmates warmly and give each of them personalized attention, but there are indeed some that she FEELS closer to than others. One of them is obviously Mark, but another is Celci. While Yona has a lot of patience for her more eccentric crewmembers and finds their antics amusing more often than not, she’s incredibly grateful to have CC around as just. A sane, practical presence.
Yona holds CC in very high esteem, admires her competence and dedication, and considers her to be incredibly trustworthy. She can tell that CC is also very proud of all these qualities in herself, and so makes sure to acknowledge them as often as possible. (She imagines it’s easy to feel taken for granted and unheard when you’re surrounded by squeaky wheels needing to be greased).
Navigating CC and Mark’s mutual dislike is a challenge, as I’m sure you can imagine. Yona understands that she can’t force the two of them to get along, so she doesn’t bother to try, but she does ask that they at least keep the childish bickering to a minimum in her presence. They also quickly learn that she won’t tolerate attempts to make themselves look better at the other’s expense.
Oh, and if I may? I would also like to nominate Dan as someone Yona considers a good friend. He’s just a fun dude, okay? xD I like to think that Yona actually did catch him when he “fell” in front of her in the hallway when she first arrived onboard. Did she know what he was really up to? Absolutely. But she doesn’t want to be known as the kind of Captain that will just stand by and let her crewmates hit the floor.
Since then, I feel like the two of them would have a rather playful dynamic where he occasionally flirts with her in a similar manner, but both of them understand that it’s all in good fun.
Dan: “Hey Captain, is this seat taken?”
Yona: “...You’re pointing at my lap.”
Dan: “That doesn’t answer my question~”
Yona: [laughs, but crosses her legs] “Nice try, Danny.”
Dan swings his arm in an "aw rats" fashion, the two of them say ‘catch you later’, and he walks away.
(...Mark kinda hates it, even though he tries not to xP)

lowkey feel like it happens when his mom says something about his dad and he just kinda goes rigid and is standoff-ish for the rest of the night but later he finally opens up about him and breaks down
you’ve been dating for a few months and you meet his mom pretty early on and it isn’t the first time you’ve been over her house but it’s before you’re really super comfortable there and it’s like less than a year after his dad passes. and she says something in passing about ‘god, your father hated that’ while he’s doing something stupid (idk) and bucky very coldly is like ‘yeah, don’t i fucking know’ and his mom just drops it immediately and says nothing else until she’s telling you guys that dinner’s ready and dinner is just really stiff and kind of awkward because bucky is hardly talking
when you’re in the car on the way back to his place later you put your hand on his knee while he drives and it sort of startles him and you gently ask him what’s wrong and he just shrugs it off until you’re like ‘no, really, bucky, it seems like what your mom said earlier really upset you. do you want to talk about it?’ and he just sighs and is like ‘it’s just not that big of a deal. my dad was…really violent. she just shouldn’t have brought it up. it just makes me upset when she brings it up. i’m sorry if it made your night weird.’ and you kind of don’t know what to say 🙁 you’re like ‘i’m sorry, bucky, i didn’t know. i’m sorry she said that and i’m sorry if i made you feel like you had to tell me that. you didn’t make anything weird, don’t apologize’ and he’s shaking his head and telling you it’s fine that you asked because he never really could find a time to bring it up and he knew that he should at some point. and he probably tells you more later when you’re home and lets you ask questions and u sit in his lap and kiss his face and play w his hair and remind him that you love him and you’re really grateful that he feels comfortable telling you all of this

yall know what time it is. ITS BREAKING THE ASKBOX TIME SJJSKALALALKAKSKWLWMNSNDDJKDK
honestly i expect nothing short of a masterpiece the moment i saw the notification. YOU! DO! NOT! DISAPPOINT! EVER! MISS CALY!!!
before getting into the crazier bits of this chapter, i wanna acknowledge how much you’ve grown as a writer during this series 🥹 recently i started re-reading some of the older moc chapters, and not to say that your writing wasn’t great before in any way, but the way you write now is so much more refined and beautiful, and i guess some of that is also attributed to how intense the story line and characters have developed. seriously, i’m so grateful to be able to read something and feel just how much effort and love the author has poured into in. now i can go on and on about praising your talent but i digress for the sake of discussing more… pressing issues that goes on here :)
*SPOILER ALERT FROM THIS PART*
now that jisung, hyunwoo and even hyunjin (sadly) has reached their demise, it finally dawns on me that this really is an end of an era. we spent like the past 1 or 2 maybe even 3 acts going through a gazillion emotional roller coaster rides all caused by jisung, but now is it weird that i’m kinda sad that he’s gone? it’s a perfect ending since jisung will probably never get his redemption even if he lives, but idk, i think it’s kinda depressing how love makes you do crazy shit :/ hyunwoo, on the other hand, BYE YOU ASS LMFAO WELL DESERVED. the only thing that dude has is the fucking audacity until the very last minute.
the action scene was beyond immaculate just as the emotional ones and there’s no doubt about that. im writing this with metaphorical tear streaks down my face and a broken heart after reading the whole chapter. you’ve got a way with words that can make me feel like i’m living and breathing in this fictional world. also, can we talk about this:
“Give me what’s mine first”
“Let her go immediately, you dog, or I’ll put a bullet in your head too.”
WELL GOD DAMN SIR. i’m gonna be fr and say i was SO certain we’re finally gonna get the infamous, long-awaited scene that must not be named between captain and ghost, but that’s on for me for not taking the slow burn warning more seriously lol. BUT there is still hope, i mean our mc would not be our mc if she can resist temptations and mind her own business yk.
"All these pit stops, huh? You sure she's the one trying to save you here, Captain? Because it looks an awful lot like that's what you're trying to do to her instead."
"Nightingale"
“I'm going, I'm going!”
and THIS IS ADORABLE OMG?!/?? i swear this whole part and the next part here is a prophecy that they’re gonna get it.
Yet, what you see before you is a trap, one carefully set by a vulnerable yet volatile man who could easily turn the situation into one that is advantageous to him permanently and you briefly. You imagine he has been in this position before — one where he can take as he pleases without thinking of the consequences of his actions — and where you stand, in a vulnerable spot yourself, you feel that tug to be near someone on equal footing. Wonder persists in your mind as you question where that is how Yunho initially fell into bed with him some time ago, or even further back to the first time Seonghwa was with him.
my girl has got some resolve and dignity alright, but we’ll see how long that lasts hahasksjak. we still probably got around 100 more chapters lol but just so you know, you’re gonna have to expect more than a broken askbox when that happens. everyone here will go so insane we might accidentally report you for emotional damage /hj. this is more than enough rambling but PLEASE I CAN NOT WAIT FOR MORE YOU’RE A LITERAL GODSEND THANK YOU LOVE YOU <3 - 🌊
OMGOMG okay i’ve been trying to answer this ask for like 2-3 weeks now but tumblr kept making it disappear from my inbox i was legit losing my mind?? but god bless today... today it worked... so finally i can respond...
thank you for waiting for me so sorry tumblr was a bitch and didn't let me respond sooner </3 i was legit so sad it kept disappearing bc i wanted to answer SO BAD LSKDFJFLK thank you thank you first off in this past few days i'e received so much lvoe and compliments on my writing, and i've been told many lovely things and i know you sent this ask a while back but man it still means so much to me i'm still so grateful the words hold just as much meaning to me i really truly appreciate them and you!!!
now onto the spoiley bits... you're spot on! this is the end of an arc in its own regard where we've been in this storyline for such a long while by now that it's a bit like wow! that's over! i've been loving seeing the mixed bag of reactions about jisung, truly, the overwhelming majority are upset over his death even if he was a villain in many regards and that is super fascinating to me and frankly that was my goal i was trying to achieve! switching the perspectives of jisung vs hyunwoo, i wanted to play with that concept and i couldn't be happier with the outcome!
hongjoong and mc have such a fun dynamic and push-and-pull to play with too i adore it and i adore seeing everyone react to that as well, especially with recent chapters ofc.. but she's a strong one! she's resisting well! she's still got her resolve and her dignity both buttttt we'll see how much longer that lasts :3
