Something something Jason feeling like he doesn't quite fit as "Greek" or "Roman" as a metaphor for bisexuality, particularly the semi-canonical bi-coding in his half of experiences during the Cupid scene and how Favonius and Cupid speak to him in parallel to the scenes confirming Nico is gay.
Something something the camps as metaphors for traditionally acceptable forms of relationships and Nico living as a rogue outside of them, rejecting expectation (ergo in himself representing a metaphor of queer identity and living outside of boxes and defined/usually hetero-allonormative/binary ideas of what love/relationships should look like) versus Jason struggling with the expectation to conform to a label and even discussing with Nico both of them remaining at CHB together.
Something something the inverse of Jason shifting away from the camps after he breaks up with Piper, feeling lost and unable to find a place between the camps as he begins to explore his queer identity properly for the first time versus Nico only remaining at CHB because he has entered a relationship. SPOILERS FOR ELATION 1 IN SWARM SIMULATED UNIVERSE!!
FINALLY AFTER 2 WEEKS OF GRINDING I FINALLY GOT THE ELATION ENCOUNTER!!! RAAH THE THINGS I DO FOR LORE-
^ HOLY SHIT IT'S. THEM!!!!
Picking the second option gives a more cute answer :]]
Anyways, cough, Ahavili crumbs anyone? 👀👀
Also don't mind the next screenshot showing the first option-
^ I can't decide if this is a 4th wall break or not ajdkajsh- Is Aha referring to SimUni as the "game", or are they referring to HSR the game? Maybe I'm overthinking this, but the fact they mentioned "account" just sticks out to me for some reason 👀
^ Huh, I wonder what Aha has to do with Ena... I tried looking through the Ena encounter and I still can't really wrap around why Aha would want to help them
^ Hoh, HOHOHOHHHAJAHAH
"Fake Akivili" you say? 👁👁 OOOO SHIVERS HAHAHAHAHS
Alright, the jig is up let's talk then!
SCREWLLUM BBGIRL ILY TY FOR THINKING OF MY SAFETY BUT PLEASE LET ME TALK TO THEM MORE NOOOOOOOOOO
We immediately get the "Cosmic big lotto" and "interastral big lotto" curios after this 👀
The rest of Herta's dialogue for anyone curious :
The first domain of the next plane is affected by Aha's "Disrupt" effect!
Drats... You'll have to pay attention later. Oh well, just think of it as humoring them, I suppose.
Anyways, THIS WAS SO FUN!!! HOLY SHIT I REMEMBER SMILING EXCITEDLY JUST REAIDNG THROUGH THIS LIKE AKSJMXKAB THE SILLY!!!!
Again, this reinforces just how self aware Aha is as an Aeon that it's ingrained into who they are. Their mere simulation is capable of ignoring and manipulating genius society code! For all I know, they might have already known they're in HSR The Game.
They're up to something devious, and I can't wait to be at the other end of the punchline!

the alt. thanks to them opening boards are going to emotionally scar me for life. look at his face. luz is terrified but desperate with a hope she feels is unfounded, needing that optimism to imagine a way out of this that doesn't hurt; that doesn't end in more tragedy?
she thinks they're on the same level of bad but sad. that she did as much as hunter in the name of helping belos, without knowing the whole truth of who belos was, who he is. she's traumatized by it.
she needs to not be alone in it.
the i'll keep your secret if you keep mine is a knife to the heart. we are in this together, she is saying. whether we like it or not, at least we have each other. at least i'm not alone.
but what do you say to that? how do you make a witch's oath without magic? you take it to heart. you hold it closer to anything. there aren't words for a devotion like that, the kind of devotion hunter has led with his entire life, and now, here, it's for luz. it's for everyone, for protecting them, to be able for them to get home again.
it's reminiscent of that good old golden guard loyalty, but remade in the light of this new world, new life. it's a cause to live by, a goal, a dream; and as the story goes, we can see - there isn't much he isn't willing to sacrifice for it, especially if the cost is only himself.
(he has nothing to return for, after all. he has a graveyard, filled to the brim with bones and masks and a future he only narrowly escaped.)
sacrifice - that is something he's been waiting for his whole life. so of course he's willing to risk everything for them. what better ending is there, where at the very least, his friends can go home to where they are loved? where no one has to be afraid, anymore?

The Joker is Wild is an episode that really doesnt work where it is in the show
the idea that BJ is set off by like. jealous rage or whatever over Hawkeye comparing him to Trapper just doesnt work so late in the show when there's been 0 indication that BJ is jealous about Trapper at all. it feels like it comes out of nowhere, just a half-assed sort of reason given to set him off
ive mentioned this before here and I know its a hot take within this fandom but the supposed Trapper Complex just doesnt exist. in the 8 seasons that BJ is present in the show, I can think of three times Trapper's name comes up around him
Period of Adjustment, where he brings up that he feels like he hates Trapper. should be noted that BJ here is at about the lowest point we see him at, he's in complete despair, and he's also blind drunk. he also specifically brings up that he feels this way because Trapper has gone home- it has nothing to do with Hawkeye
Depressing News, Hawkeye refers to BJ as being the 'same size, same shape' as Trapper, and BJ's reaction can be construed as being not exactly pleased about it. I think this reads more as him just not being happy about literally being called Trapper's replacement, not him being jealous
then, of course, The Joker is Wild
because of this it really just doesnt make sense for BJ to suddenly have this jealousy in The Joker is Wild, not this late in the show. it would've honestly worked so much better if this episode happened back in season 4, because then you could've made that jealousy believable with BJ still establishing himself in camp and Hawkeye still dealing with Trapper's departure. but as it is, set in season 11, it really just doesnt work. its such a He Would Not Fucking Say That episode

thinking a lot about minbari telepaths and how much agency they do/don't have over their lives. i only remember what was touched on in legacies and even then, hardly, so i may be stupid here <3
but anyway their service is an honor or a calling or whatever, they're compensated for it i think, but is it a choice? i feel like once you refer to something as a Calling in minbo society it's all over for you.
and in a society where you're not supposed to lie, telepaths on the loose would... in Theory not be a threat, but in actuality where everyone is just tiptoeing around the truth, it'd be dangerous. i feel like the gov would like to keep tabs on telepaths to make sure no clan or caste or political rival would be using one for their own good, but obvs have some front up about it where "we have nothing to hide it's just to help the telepaths actually, and ensure they're using the gifts valen gave them as intended haha <3"
so if alisa had gone there, she'd probs have more freedoms within that role than a psi corps teep would, but she still wouldn't have much freedom as a normal citizen maybe? and that makes sense since that's the cost of her being allowed there and provided for.
but for a regular minbo telepath i imagine it's the same thing, where sure you have freedoms within your role! but if you wake up and decide you'd rather own a bakery then haha, haha, you might just mysteriously disappear <3
AND THENNNN i wonder how this impacts how delenn views lyta. she had some rly sympathetic lines toward her at the very end, paralleling her own feelings about her own ostracization, but i kinda believe a lot of why she didn't speak up sooner would be because of seeing telepathy and servitude going hand in hand.
they had soooo many similarities and enough history where if it wouldn't have gotten in the way of Plot, delenn could've been a good person to help lyta. so apart from the general concept of delenn just having her own life and not being perfectly in-tune with lyta's daily life, maybe this is another in-universe reason for why she didn't do more.
