okay we finally have anatis and grimalkin - the lb and cn of the hbic au!!!

so i'm in the process of reading Panthera Noire by @justanotherpersonsuniverse (who is a beautiful writer btw) anyways, feral juleka with the cat miraculous is my shit so she was an obvious choice and luka was because i love their relationship and i think this could be very funny

i started this as like "let's make someone else lb and cn for funsies" - it started developing as a subplot and so now these two are gonna have their own spin-off fic in the same universe cause there's so much potential (as always)

because of this, I'm gonna switch around a couple of miraculous holders and things, but some are gonna stay the same

in terms of design:

their dye changes colours; luka's turns red and juleka's turns green (unintentional billie eilish)

juleka is a lesbian and she's got the cat miraculous so you can bet it's gonna be catra inspired - mainly season 4 with the one short sleeve cause that's my favourite look of hers; she was gonna have a jacket and like,,, pants cause i said i wasn't gonna do the full skintight thing but i feel like this works for her

the ring is on her right pointer finger (idk the logic whatever ig she's left-handed now and the right arm is full black (same kinda thing as catra), while the left has the short thing and then the green piping and a fingerless glove and on that hand, she's got claw-like nails

the green lines are cause c o l o u r

purple tigress hair

luka has the viperion chestplate, pauldrons and bracers

he's got a wing-like cape thing with a hood cause i said so yeah idk man; pants have a stripe down the outside of the leg with the ladybug pattern and a belt for the yoyo + boots

i decided to change his eye colour because i like the idea of miraculous holder's eyes changing to the colour of their kwami's cause why tf not (also the pointed canine thing & side effects that's always funny - they have that too), so his eyes are now kinda purple/pink sclera with the same blue as tikki

there are two types of friendships/relationships: not giving them a miraculous so they aren't in danger (juleka specifically to rose) or giving all of them superpowers cause they don't trust anyone else (luka and mari)

Octodad: Luna becomes Ladynoir

The flu had been going the school lately, so it didn't surprised Lucifer when one Adrien was sick. It also didn't surprise him when Marinette was put out of commission at the same time.

What did surprise him was when Tentta was put out of commission because he ate some bad shrimp.

"You eat bagels! Why were you eating shrimp!?!"

Tentta, on a couch pillow on the coffee table, turned his little head to weakly look at Lucifer. "I used to eat it all the time."

Lucifer crossed his arms. "Was it bad shrimp?"

"I thought it was seasoning."

Lucifer sighed and put his face in one of his hand.

Before they could continue their conversation, Lucifer's phone went off.

Looking over at it got Lucifer to freeze.

An akuma alert.

"No..." Lucifer then started to frantically pace. "No no no!" He stopped and waved his arms around. "What am I supposed to do!?! Both the kids are out, and my Kwami is out as well-"

"You could always use one of our Miraculi."

Lucifer whipped his head to the new voice to see two Kwamis. Tikki and Plagg, each holding their Miraculi.

"What are you two doing here?" Lucifer then ran up to them with his hands out for them to rest on.

Tikki sat down in one of his hands and spoke. "It was Plagg's idea. He said we could trust you to use one of our Miraculi while Tentta and our holders are sick."

Lucifer gave her a confused look. "How did you know about Tentta?"

Plagg flew into his other hand. "I may have been the one to tell him that it was seasoning on the shrimp."

Lucifer and Tikki both sent him a glare at that.

"What? I didn't think he would get sick at the same time as the kids."

Tikki sighed while Lucifer shook his head, both already used to him.

Lucifer turned to Tikki. "Does this mean I'll have to fight alone?" Lucifer then gasped. "What about the Miraculous Cure!?! Only Marinette can do it!"

Plagg rushed up to Lucifer's face. "It's fine, this akuma isn't destructive, so once the akuma is cured, there won't be any need for the Cure. As for if you're alone..." Plagg grinned. "I wouldn't be opposed to a certain someone using me while you use Tikki."

Lucifer and Tikki gave Plagg a confused look.

"Plagg, no one else-" Tikki started.

"Oh! Her!" Lucifer quickly interrupted Tikki with a grin on his face.

Before Tikki could question either of them, Lucifer was rushing to get down stairs.

"Sunshine~! Want to help me with something~?"

The akuma was looking over all the people they had frozen in place.

Now, they weren't actually frozen, but they weren't capable of moving. That's what happens when you akumatize a seven year old because they lost a game of freeze tag.

"Aren't you a little young to be an akuma."

The child turned, expecting to see Mollusk, but they saw someone else instead.

There stood a figure that looked like a ladybug themed Mollusk.

His hair was bright red on top and black on the bottom of all the locks, with black antenna. His mask is pure black, with fang like designs going down on his face, while his entire forehead is covered by the mask before it turned into the antenna. Then his body was covered by a black long sleeved spandex, that ended in gloves, under a red and black spotted sleeveless suit jacket. Going down, the black spandex extended to his knees that then turned into red boots.

The akuma frowned. "You aren't Ladybug."

The hero raised hand and a finger. "Correct! Normally, I go by Mollusk, but today I'm Anatis." Anatis put the yo-yo into the other hand and pulled the string taunt.

The akuma's face glowed with Hawkmoth's butterfly symbol. "Well you don't have the Miraculous Cure!"

Anatis shrugged his shoulders. "Don't really need it. Curing your akuma fill free everyone you've caught."

The akuma grinned. "That doesn't change how you're all alone."

"I'm right here, you know."

Anatis grinned as he and the akuma turned to a lamppost behind the akuma to see the new figure.

She was leaning on the post with her arms crossed. Her hair was short, a bob cut, with leather cat ears sticking out of the top of her head. She had the typical hero masks covering her face, bringing attention to her eyes. They were similar to Chat's, but her irises were a striking gold on top of the green that the rest of the eyes were. The rest of the outfit was a simple leather body suit, with shin and arm guards on her limbs. Behind her, she had two black ropes swinging around, that ended in green tuffs of frayed rope.

The akuma jolted back. "How did..! Who are you!?!"

The cat hero grinned. "You can call me Bakeneko. As for how I got here..." Bakeneko's grin widened. "As if I would tell my enemy that."

Anatis jumped down at stared at the akuma, spinning his yo-yo. "Now that we have all parties established, let's get on with curing your akuma."

Bakeneko got up and grabbed the staff from back, then dropped into a fighting stance with a hand up towards the akuma. "How much do I have to hold back again?"

"No injuring the child please." Anatis sent Bakeneko a pointed look.

She simply shrugged her shoulders. "Fine, won't really change how quickly I'll finish this."

Anatis raised an eyebrow. "You'll finish this?"

Bakeneko grinned at Anatis. "Well, I am the cool one here."

The akuma raised their hand. "I do think she's the prettier and cooler one."

"Ha! See? I'm the cooler and prettier one."

Anatis shrugged his shoulders. "Wasn't saying you weren't."

Then, the akuma decided to charge at Bakeneko, causing the heroes to spring into action.

As Bakeneko released the akuma from her staff, Anatis was holding the little girl that was the akuma and took her to her worried parents.

Then, Alya came rushing up to them, with stars in her eyes. "Can I get an interview?"

Anatis and Bakeneko looked at each other then back to Alya.

Anatis grimaced. "Sorry, but I only have 3 minutes, and Bakeneko shouldn't really be left alone."

"Can you at least answer why you two are using the Ladybug and Chat Noir Miraculous'?"

"The kids had a prior engagement they couldn't get out of."

"What about your Miraculous, Mollusk."

Anatis crossed his arms. "No comment."

Alya then turned to Bakeneko. "Can you at least tell me why you're a hero today?"

Bakeneko grinned. "Sure! It's because of my relationship with buggy here."

"Your relationship?"

"Yup, and I've been wanting to do this ever since I learned about Mollusk's fan girls." Bakeneko then turned to Mollusk, and grabbed his shoulders, before turning back to Alya. "Is that recording?"

"Um, yeah? Why?"

Anatis looked up at Bakeneko with a frown. "What are y-?"

Anatis' question was never finished as Bakeneko rushed in for a kiss, a French one.

Anatis was just as surprised as everyone else, and tried to fight it for a moment. But then he wrapped his arms around Bakeneko's neck, with hum of content, to deepen it. He even kicked out a leg with pointed toes.

Bakeneko separated the two, then turned to a stunned Alya and her camera. "Stop fantasizing about my husband please." She picked up a still blissed out Anatis bridal style. "Well, it's time we head out. Seeya!"

Bakeneko then jumped up to the roofs, and disappeared with Anatis, leaving everyone stunned by that surprising turn of events.

Chat Sith AU: Origins Difference

Fu tested Nino and Alya instead, they pass.

With Fu not intervening, Adrien made it to school the first day. Nino, Marinette, and Alya weren’t impressed to see Adrien friends with Chloe.

Adrien has a hard time making friends.

Alya finds Plagg is and flips out and is so excited to have the chance to be a hero hell yes. Unlike Adrien, she listens to Plagg’s full explanation.

Nino freaks out over Nino, poor bean hitting his in trying to escape her. Tikki convinces this unsure boy to be hero, Nino is very unsure though.

Eager kitten Jaguar (who already has her name picked out) and awkward spotted bean "Scardy Bug” have their first outing; Jaguar refers to him as Wonderbug and encourages him.

They face Stoneheart and thanks to Jaguar intently listening to all Plagg told her, she was able to remind lb!Nino to get the akuma. Jaguar is a little starstruck at ML and thinks that with the right push, lb!Nino will be an amazing hero. She is set to be that push.

No repeat of Stoneheart and Nino is doubtful of his capability, considers maybe Jaguar should have both, declaring she’s already good and amazing at it. Tikki is successful in conniving Nino to give it another shot, revealing that she chose him, not Jaguar and he has potential for greatness.

Gum incident happens and Alya is ready to fight for Marinette. Marinette in turn is in no mood for Adrien, officially deeming him to be just like Chloe and truly isn’t worth her time.

Sadrien.

Nino though notices and he’s up to befriend Adrien.

Adrien is happy.

Through Alya’s push and encouragement, Marinette stands up to Chloe and gets her seat back, with Alya backing her the whole way.

Nino is happy for Marinette, glad to see her old flame back.

Adrien is happy for them and as he turns to try and befriend Marinette, feeling drawn to her and bad about Chloe’s bullying her. “Guess we’re seatmates now?” The girls brush him off.

Nino encourages him to talk to Marinette and be himself. Tikki is proud and pleased with Nino, insisting he’s going to be a great LB.

Umbrella scene happens, Marinette develops a maybe small crush with Adrien excited by the prospect that they could be friends.

Alya dims down that crush, still unsure about Adrien, insisting that they should watch out, just to be sure; for he is friends with Chloe, an evil person. Plagg brings up a point of Alya viewing the world in black and white, and how it’s not good to live like that way.

Through Marinette and Plagg, Alya is up to give Adrien a 2nd chance, though still unsure.

The heroes meet up for their first patrol and Nino officially introduces himself as Anatis (also known as the eyed ladybug) and reveals his doubts to Jaguar. She is quick to reassure him and gives an inspirational speech about how amazing they both will be.

Anatis is inspired and a little starstruck.

2nd random akuma happens, Adrien is starstruck with Marinette, while scared, jumped up to save him before Anatis and Jaguar jump in to save them. HM reveals himself, Jaguar and Anatis are quick to jab back and Jaguar is the one that declares that they’ll stop HM.

Adrien and Marinette have small, maybe crushes on each other, for sure are on their way to be awkward friends.

Anatis and Jaguar are solid in their partnership and both are mutually eager to work with each other. Tikki praises Nino and you have cute cuddles, Plagg backs he made a good choice with Alya and is cuddled by Alya.

Spoilers for Tales of Brumus and Lady Ombre ahead

So here's my design for the butterfly ladybug unification for Luka in my upcoming special for the Anatisverse.

Based on the Cinnabar moth and unified with the ladybug miraculous, Luka becomes the hero Cinnabug. I know the name is not as creative as I normally go but I really like it so its staying. I wanted him to look almost ethereal looking and almost like royalty so I decided to give him certain features that he normally doesn't have such as the pointed ears. His outfit is loosely based on his butterfly form I drew up but mixed with his anatis suit. I also added aspects of the Cinnabar moth hence the red pants and the design of his tail coat. I also still wanted to include purple as the moth miraculous is purple themed.

Anyway I think I achieved a good look for him so I'm happy with it. Also keep an eye out. The special based on Miraculous: Paris will be out soon. I did intend to release it for Halloween but sadly things happened and I wasn't able to.

a3! as arknights operators

Since @uwua3 made a version for genshin impact, Imma do this with Arknights.

Note: ‘Operator’ refers to any character serving under Rhodes Island’s staff, would be ‘hero’ in any other game. Most of their races are based on the April Fools animal AU, but not all of them are. A lot of their codenames are cultivars or species of their flowers, or shortenings thereof, but not all of them are.

SPRING

Sakuya Codename: Blossom Race: Zalak Affiliation: Rhodes Island Medical Status: Infected

Unsure what his Arts is yet

Will do anything to protect the other operators in the team

Shares a past with Masumi. It’s a bit shady in that no one exactly knows where they’re from

Medic. Has probably a passive that resembles Perfumer’s and Angelina’s

Kinda unsure about actual fighting, but he’s similar to Suzuran as in that everyone is like ‘I only had him for 5 minutes but if anything would happen I would kill everyone and then myself’

Masumi Codename: Erpetion Race: Elafia Affiliation: Sami Medical Status: Uninfected

Mostly came to Rhodes Island for Kal’tsit. Has a big time crush on Kal’tsit. Everyone sees how dangerous that is but he just thinks that her summoning one of Terra’s old gods from her spine is all the more badass

Sniper. Uses a shotgun in battle, probably Schwarz/Provence archetype? (I call it ‘Point Blanc’)

Sakuya is aware of his crush on Kal’tsit but he knows that his attempts to bring him off it is just as effective as beating a dead horse soo

Is uninfected, thus doesn’t receive medical help. However, several Medics have confessed to wanting to run a therapy session with him just to discover where that Kal’tsit obsession stems from

Pretends not to know about the stuff in the Sami wilderness. But if you pry a little, he’ll reveal that he knows more about that than he’d want to

Tsuzuru Codename: Tarax Race: Caprinae Affiliation: Leithanien Medical Status: Infected

Does a lot of paperwork. Probably also works in the HR department

Also handles the communication with the Catastrophe Messengers. It’s no rarity to see him all passed out on a pile of work

Supporter. Probably buff/debuff archetype (Pramanix, Shamare).

Left Leithanien after seeing how hypocrisy basically runs free in the country. Joined Rhodes Island, also to receive treatment

Yeah, he’s Infected. Leithanien uses a lot of Arts

Itaru Codename: Ecklonis Race: Anaty Affiliation: Yan Medical Status: Infected

Allows no one in his room, but makes an exception now and then (you’d have to have a good reason tho)

Most technology in Terra uses Originium, so yeah he’s prooobably infected?

Has no idea why Masumi crushes on Kal’tsit. Meanwhile, he himself is another bane in the existance of the staff

Specialist. Can be deployed on both ranged and melee tiles; he uses katana while on melee tiles and uses a gun while on ranged tiles. Unsure what the hell his archetype is

Can fight but prefers to laze around

Citron Codename: Bicalyx Race: Unknown Affiliation: Sargon Medical Status: Uninfected

Fled the throne of a small tribe in Sargon for unknown reasons

Rhodes Island has to make sure he stays undetected, and this has troubled their contacts with Sargon, especially since another Sargonese operator joined them

Would be a Guard? Support? Not sure

However he doesn’t make his origin a secret and often tells about the customs in his tribe. They’re...weird, to say the least

The staff is unsure whether to return him to Sargon or not

Further decisions are left to Kal’tsit

Specialist, Aak archetype. Also uses poison darts, but usually throws them unlike Blue Poison. Instead of directly attacking them, he deals damage over time (sorta kinda like Warfarin without the healing)

Will work with Hisoka if they’re on the same team, but (both in and out of gameplay), their kit doesn’t work together at all (Hisoka’s got low HP and DEF and is a controller Specialist not focused on ATK)

Staff has hardship distinguishing if he tells them lies or truth

Came to Rhodes Island to track down Hisoka

Tenma Codename: Lian Race: Liberi Affiliation: Columbia Medical Status: Infected

A celebrity from Columbia who had to leave the scene after getting infected

Wanted a cooler codename but has to keep low

He's still got rivalry with Yuki but he'll work together with him if pushed

Vanguard. Uses a spear in battle

Angry that his infection forced him to retire, receives treatment

Yuki Codename: Stargazer Race: Vulpo Affiliation: Rhodes Island Medical status: Uninfected

Repairs the clothing of operators after battle. Very frustrated about them getting their equipment so ripped up every time, especially Tenma

Knows Bibeak and Orchid, as they also know the tailor/fashion business. He is sometimes found talking to them

Ranged Guard. Kit would be Frostleaf’s but Good

Known for his sharp toungue. Vehemently denies being infected, as it’s the truth, and is careful around Originium - he always takes care with handling clothing of operators who’ve been to risky areas

Has had an offer to become a Catastrophe Messenger, since he now knows all risky areas like the back of his hand. Has not yet decided on it

Muku Codename: Apoyama Race: Feline Affiliation: Victoria Medical status: Uninfected

Medic

Wishes that Yuki and Tenma would stop fighting already

Serves his job just fine but prefers reading

Has seen what infection can do and it’s his primary goal to relieve patients of their symptoms

Joined Rhodes Island for that purpose

Misumi Codename: Moonfire Race: Elafia Affiliation: Rhodes Island Medical status: Unknown (keeps evading medical checkups)

No one knows where he’s from. But he serves Rhodes Island now

Sniper, but probably has innate physical/Arts dodge and/or camouflage

After others saw his physical prowess, he became an operator, just like that

Is pretty lazy on paperwork; Kazunari has to do that for him

Staff has made seeking out his origin a pointer

Does most of the paperwork that is put on Misumi

He seems to have something of a shared past with Misumi of sorts, but no one really knows how they know eachother

(He was a giraffe in the April Fools’ AU, but he’s a Kylin here since they’re similar)

Unsure what his class is. He’s probably a ranged operator, though

Would do some crowd-control?

Followed Juza to Rhodes Island

Vanguard, probably uses a baseball bat similar to Cuora in order to mimick Juza’s weapon of choice

Some operators get tired of his musings over his brother though

Knows he’s infected, but tries not to let it hinder his combat abilities

It’s too early to properly see what his Arts is

AUTUMN

Banri Codename: Deadlock Race: Feline Affiliation: Rhodes Island Medical status: Uninfected

Also followed Juza to Rhodes Island, but for an entirely different purpose than Kumon

His rivalry with Juza is the only reason he’s serving as an operator there, as he’s uninfected and thus doesn’t receive treatment

Guard. I can’t see him as any other class

Doesn’t care a lot for the entire ‘fight Reunion’ business, a battle is won for him if he manages to kill more of them than Juza did

He literally took his codename from one of the missions (stages in chapter 6). Juza jabs at him for this

Juza Codename: Otherside Race: Oni Affiliation: Higashi Medical status: Infected

Joined Rhodes Island upon getting infected. Had no idea that he’d be taking Banri and Kumon with him

No idea just how he got infected but he receives treatment without complaints

Probably a Guard too, but would have some DEF to back himself up (AoE Guard?)

Lycoris Radiata are also called otherside flowers, so there’s that

Won’t allow himself to lose to Banri

Omi Codename: Dianthus Race: Lupo Affiliation: Rhodes Island Medical status: Uninfected

Healing Defender. I mean, that class was pretty much made for him aight

Usually the one able to make Juza and Banri able to function like normal operators when together in a mission

Probably has a shady past. Born in Siracusa

Currently affiliated with Rhodes Island as per his own request

Known for his good recipes in the cafeteria

Why does this mafia member work together with Rhodes Island?

Started out as a HR operator but he applied to become a combat operator as well

Kal’tsit is unsure what to do with the fact that he’s here and is careful when involving him

However, it is sure that he brought Azami to Rhodes Island for treatment - why he decided to stay here may also be related to that

Sakyo found and adopted him some time ago

Azami is angry at him for not being able to prevent his infection

Became a combat operator against Sakyo’s wishes

Left Chernobog after stuff began to stir there. Managed to get out before he could get infected

Does very intensive training. Dobermann likes that aspect about him

Sometimes, Tsumugi is afraid he will overexert himself one day

You know it. A...poet? from Columbia who came to Rhodes to seek treatment

However, he is often struck by inspiration right during a checkup. Woe the Medic operator who is tasked to examine him at that moment

His room is next to Hisoka’s and they’re often seen together. He’s the one who makes sure that Hisoka doesn’t look like something that crawled out of the local swamp everytime they enter the battlefield

There are rumors that he has links with Rhine Lab. He himself says they’re just that: rumors

Hisoka Codename: Blueshade Race: Liberi Affiliation: Undisclosed Medical status: Uninfected

Unfinished business regarding Chikage. No one but Kal’tsit has any idea what that’s about

For the most part, he doesn’t really look like an operator who is fielded regularly. However you’ll be surprised when you actually see him fight

As said before, Controller Specialist. Won’t be targeted by enemies

Some operators compare him to Durin. However, only those that are close to him know that he’s something else

When the landship docks at a town that has a shrine, he always goes to that shrine, supposedly to pray for someone’s deceased soul. No one really knows who that soul is supposed to be tho

Azuma Codename: Setsugeka Race: Vulpo Affiliation: Rhodes Island Medical status: Uninfected

A therapist, like Tsukinogi. However, I’m not sure whether he is a Supporter or a Medic

Still, he is in touch by the people in the Medic department

His origins are unclear, as well as his age (However, this game doesn’t really give canon ages so it wouldn’t impact too much)

He can be quite vague about these things

After battle, he always asks if his fellow operators are okay

Guy Codename: Venere Race: Elafia Affiliation: Sargon Medical status: Infected

Came to Rhodes both for treatment and to track down Citron

Misinterprets orders quite a lot. People have complained about it during the early days of his battlefield experience

Often seen by his own, no one quite knows what he’s thinking

He’s jokingly said to be a robot by several operators. However, he himself doesn’t really say anything in return to that

Won’t answer if asked anything about Sargon

MLB HBIC AU

so I came across a wonderful au about a month ago and spent approximately a week reading fic after fic of it and i got inspired to write my own!!

i've been meaning to draw this up for a while cause I need to work out the colour combos on who should get which one. many of the fics I read had chloé in yellow, marinette in blue and nathaniel in red and while yeah, they look pretty good, I decided to switch it up a little

I looked into some colour meanings after finishing this as well and it fits the vibe I want for them in the fic so:

chloé and blue - blue is associated with calm, tranquility, security and also sadness. in this au, chloé became the character that she is in season 1 because of her mother's influence and in an attempt to be more like her so her mother will actually pay some attention to her ig, she changed to wearing yellow as audrey preferred it over blue. Chloe's always been the hbic but she'd pulled back a bit in the lead up to the fic as she kinda went from getting rid of horrible people to just having them wrapped around her little finger (idk I'm still working all the details out and this is prone to change anyways). As for design, I've taken inspiration from her concept art with the striped shorts and the shoes.

marinette and red - red often means power, aggressiveness, passion, etc. this is mainly a power move cause guess what? ladybug doesn't exist in this au. instead we have Anatis and Grimalkin (more on them in future but you can start guessing on who you might think they are) and marinette (as inspired by the Zhímíng Baoshí series on ao3) is basically part of a mafia along with Marc and Kim (Kim's bit is from yet another fic - Red Queen I think??) anyways we been knew she looks good in red and don't worry, she's as badass as ever. Her top is inspired by a cheongsam which I'm like 90% sure is what Sabine wears and I put her in a skirt cause skirts and docs are a vibe. also ponytail cause she looks cute with one.

nathaniel and yellow - this one was the most interesting cause yellow is normally associated with warmth and happiness but I also learnt that it actually makes people angry??? like you're more likely to get angry in a yellow room and babies cry easier in a yellow room?? who knew? because of this, I found that it fits him pretty well cause I'm lowkey on board with the 'nathaniel has anger issues hc' (mainly seen in evillustrator and reverser). I'm still working out his reasons for joining the trio but I do have some stuff for him, just needs to be fine-tuned is all. I was sceptical and actually least enthusiastic about this choice before I drew it cause I didn't want him looking like ronald mcdonald lmao but I think it's the bold colour and lack of stripes that make it work. my dude's an art bi so cuffed, ripped jeans and turtleneck.
