Ugly Betty
I finally finished this show after a few months. Overall 9/10, I’m a sucker for sitcoms. Now personally I never thought Betty was ugly and I actually loved a lot of her outfits but I’m the environment she was in she did stick out. I was happy that they never REALLY changed her because a lot of shows will make the “unattractive” character “glow up” so they kept her the same. The only thing that changed really was her glasses but she kept them bright red until the very end and her braces. Her fashion did soften up a bit but she was still very much herself. The show really emphasizes being yourself. Another thing that I loved about this show is that almost every character had dimensions even Suzuki. The show maintained its sitcom bubbliness while also having a lot of deep topics discussed.
